__thoma ㅤ“a lot of people work hard at what they love, so... i don’t think that makes me stand out at all. i do often end up being a peacekeeper in the city, though… i suppose i’m important in one way or another. well, i’ll take the compliment! thank you for saying that.”

Tomo - Dragon costume ( strictly Platonic)

Reader is Tomo's sibling

Warnings; this involves fluff and slight angst.

"(Name)!" Tomo called out as he swung an arm around your neck. You had just finished setting up the last of the decorations, and was picking a costume for you and your brother.

"What costumes are we wearing this year?" Tomo asked as he dug through the box of clothing. Your friends Thoma, Arataki Itto, Yoimiya and the Kamisato siblings agreed to meet up in an hour in costumes.

"I was thinking about wearing Dragon costumes" you told Tomo while holding up said costumes, "Or we could be an archer and ninja?"

Your brother thought for a moment before grinning and taking the dragon set in his hands, "These ones sound better! Besides the shogunate soldiers won't be after us again with these."

Your deadpanned at your brother's reasoning before chuckling "Weren't they after you and Itto because you guys were shooting fireworks in the morning?" Tomo lightly shocked you with his vision as you flicked some water in his head, "It wasn't our fault!" "Was too." "Was not!"

The two of your bickered for a good twenty minutes while getting into your costumes before finally adding the last touches. "And, there!" You grinned as you finished putting realistic features to your dragon costumes.

Tomo examined himself in the mirror with awe "Awesome! You really outdid yourself once again!" He commented as you fixed his vision out of sight before doing the same with yours.

"Come-on we're gonna be late!" You exclaimed as you pushed Tomo out of the door and locking it. Your brother managed to get some candy to give to the kids and his wallet.

You took Tomo's hand in yours before dragging him to Ritou, Yae Miko watching afar with amusement. "My~ my~ Seems like those two are at it again~" the kitsune chuckled before leaving.

Meanwhile your brother accidentally bumped into Kazuha, sending the poor boy tumbling back. "Ah! Kazu my bad!" Tomo exclaimed while helping the boy up.

"Please don't fret" Kazuha said while shaking his head "I'm okay", you examined the former for any scratches but didn't find any.

"Would you like to accompany us?" Tomo asked as Kazuha's eyes brightened "That would be great! Ahem- If you would have me then it'd be a pleasure."

You and your brother chuckled at your friend's formality before Tomo flicked Kazuha's head, "Your it!" And ran off. You left in tow as Kazuha started chasing you two, the three of you laughed as the residents smiled at the scene.

Your little troop finally arrived at where Thoma and the others agreed to meet. You fixed Tomo's horns as Kazuha came back in a samurai costume.

"Look who finally showed up!" Itto exclaimed as he looked at your costumes, "Where'd you get the cool costumes?" The crimson Oni was wearing a vampire costume as Yoimiya tackled you into a hug, "(Name)!"

The female was in a demon costume and seemed to be matching with Ayaka who was in an angel costume. "(Name) added the features to our costumes" Tomo told Itto with a proud smile.

Thoma and Ayato came back with some dango and boba tea, "Oh? Seems you've already arrived." The blue haired male mused as he drank his boba. Yoimiya and Itto dragged you and Tomo through the streets of Ritou, "Come on you two! This festival ought to impress ya!" "Snack time!"

You and Tomo walked around with your friends, enjoying the peaceful and spooky atmosphere, with all the festival had to offer.

Your eyes shot open at the sound of waves, looking around the sun had set as night was approaching. You looked down in front of you with a bittersweet smile upon your face as you placed a bouquet of Sakura flowers upon the grave.

"It's been two years Tomo" you mutter while holding the grey vision firmly

"The vision hunt decree has been demolished. A traveler from afar came and helped us with the Shogun. The ninth Harbinger has passed, you remember Signora don't you? Scaramouche is missing with the Shogun's Gnosis. Kazuha's wandering with a captain from Liyue.

Yoimiya's been trying to court Ayaka, but you know how Ayato is." You chuckled sadly as you told your brother about what happened over the years, but unknownst to you his spirit was sitting next to you happily listening to every word.

Even if he has past, he will always be watching you.

For you, like Kazuha, are the last of your clan.

uninterested at first and only came because you couldn’t stop pestering her

“c’moooooooon ei pretty please?”

“i’ll buy you dango milk.”

“deal.”

congratulations on bribing your friend to get her to come to the arcade with you

doesn’t know exactly where to go when you two arrive and follows you all around for most of the trip

even then, she still agrees to go halfsies on token funds

until she sees a particular fighting game.

“(y/n), what’s this?”

“oh hey, the king of fighters! man, i haven’t played a fighting game in so long-”

“i want to try.”

you don’t know why but you suddenly hear boss music.

so you casually give her the tokens she needs and she sits down to play. all is fine.

then she starts demolishing enemy after enemy after enemy she doesn’t seem to be simply button-mashing too

you could only watch in horror as your best friend flawlessly cleared all the levels

you make an effort to hide the multiplayer fighting games from her…and fail.

“oh, we can play this one together. let’s give it a try, (y/n).”

you don’t tell her that she seems to be enjoying this a little too much

and so you had no choice but to compete against her

needless to say, you lost 5 seconds in

“hehe, that was fun. we should do this again some other time.”

you don’t know whether this was better than a claw machine addiction or not

as impressed as you were, you can’t help but feel intimidated too

so you bought her the dango milk you promised her to calm her down and erase that menacing aura she’s emanating

and then you sulk internally

…maybe you’ll just get her to like air hockey

you agree obviously because what’s better than two of your most favorite things in the world?

and also the fact that you know she’s like the biggest taiko no tatsujin fan ever. she has all the games and the whole drum kit at home already but she still insists on going to the arcade for “immersion”

runs straight to the taiko no tatsujin machine before you could even buy your tokens

don’t worry she gave you a bit of her money prior

she plays alone at first, insisting that she’s “warming up”

you wonder if playing megalovania on expert is actually a warm-up

after her warm-up, she invites you to play excitedly

words could not describe how embarrassed you are when you choose ‘easy’ on yoru ni kakeru

she reassures you that it’s fine though! everyone starts somewhere after all :)

proceeds to absolutely destroy you by getting a perfect combo on expert.

“woo, that was fun! alright, my turn to choose.”

you start sweating bullets despite the air conditioning

truth be told, you expected this already, plus playing with her isn’t that bad or humiliating…

…until you hear some kid call you a noob from afar

you sulk.

well, at least you try to sulk, because yoimiya is about to throw hands with that kid and you have to hold her off

“nobody insults my (y/n) except for me!”

she actually rarely ever insults you, lighthearted or not, because she doesn’t have the heart to. also you didn’t think she’d throw hands with a kid

the little incident makes you forget that you still have another battle against her

she chooses yugen no ran.

you had to play on easy.

well, at least she didn’t full combo it so you’re spared a bit of dignity

she still did pretty good though

“agh, almost had it! i need more practice…”

hearing that, you quickly drag her to play a multiplayer racing game before she could spend more tokens on it and fuel your inferiority complex

she ends up liking it thankfully

still tries to run back to taiko and finally conquer yugen no ran though so you distract her by treating her to some ice cream

you can’t help but admire her talent but you don’t tell her this

at this point anything can fuel her to go back to that game to “practice”

you don’t hear from her for a few days after the trip

🐄🐰 One moment you, Kyouka and Kenji were going back home from school.

The second moment you three were in a middle of Chinju Forest.

Kenji took the sudden trip better, than Kyouka and you. The sun was shining, wind was blowing, and, according to your knowledge about the game, Teyvat's people are more or less friendly, and there are travelers from another world.

So, after getting some rest, you three will go to the nearest city and search for dimensional travelers. Everything will be alright.

Besides, local tanukis are so cute, and Ioroi was fun to talk to.

Kenji's optimism was contagious. He does have a point. You aren't looking for troubles. Besides, Traveler and Alice are friendly. They won't hurt you three.

With your spirit up, you started your journey to Grand Narukami Shrine. In Guide, Alice mentioned, that she knew Yae Miko. And Yae did publish said Guide. Maybe, kitsune knew, how to reach Alice.

During your walk, you looked up. And a chill run down your spine. Celestia was gone. A clod, sticky horror squeeze your heart. You knew from somewhere, that it was wrong.

Something terrible has happened.

You decide to think about it when you reached Shrine. You will have time.

🐄🐰 You were lucky. Yae Miko was here, in the shrine. Everything looked normal. Kenji, with big smile on his face, walked towards her, asking for help. But then Yae Miko looked at you. Disbelief, horror, worry. Before someone could react, Yae dragged you three inside the shrine's building.

When the door closed behind you, Yae grabbed your cheeks, looking at your face at every angle. You notice, how Demon Snow appeared behind Kyuoka, drawing its sword.

Yae's voice was trembling.

"Don't waste your power on me, child. Soon you will need it to protect yourselves."

🐄🐰 During Yae's explanation, you felt, how Kyuoka and Kenji sat closer to you. Like they were afraid, that you will be attacked any moment now. Because of orders of 'Creator'.

Yae explained, that just few hours ago, that Creator preformed some sort of ritual. A ritual of finding sinners… People, who looked similar to Creator. Who looked similar to you. And if someone sees you, they would attack. Would try to capture you.

Yae secretly get you away from Narukami Shrine. You weren't safe in Inazuma. Still, Yae asked you to stay here. Until she gets answer from Alice and her whereabouts.

"Run, children. Alice the adventurer might help you. If you managed to get to her, she might find a way to return you home."

When you left, she sent a letter to Alice. The only thing that was left is wait.

🐄🐰At the end of the week, you three were still in Inazuma. And you have a bunch of people on your tail.

And you were worried. Mostly, about Kenji and Kyuoka. They were your friends/adopted siblings. And they were protecting you. Kenji was starving himself, afraid of not being able to help during attack. Kyuoka was constantly using Demon Snow to search for dangers. And it looked like, using their abilities, tried them.

You tried to help as much as you can. You took cooking and keeping camp warm and clean on yourself. You insisted on guarding the camp at night, letting Kyuoka and Kenji sleep.

Despite two of you having abilities, you were just three teens. And you three missed home and the rest of BSD's Cast.

🐄🐰 Second week were better. Thanks to Kenji's kindness, you now were hiding in Yoimiya's house. Who could think, that playing with local kids will let you find help?

Now you were more or less protected.

Kyuoka, Kenji and you even met Itto and Arataki's Gang. They were a loud, but friendly bunch.

🐄🐰 One day, Kuki brought a letter from Yae. Alice will wait for you in Fontaine. She even found a way for you to get here.

After tearful goodbye from Yoimiya and her father, you three, under protection of Itto and his gang, reached Ritou's Island.

Where Chiori was waiting for you.

"So, Creator want to capture three teens? How low Teyvat will sink, I wonder? Okay, kids, let's do some dress up."

🐄🐰 For the next few days, you, Kenji and Kyuoka, dressed in Fontaine clothes, were pissing as Chiori's workers, who were helping to get silk from Inazuma to Fontaine.

Trip were doing fine.

You were so close to getting home.

You just need to find Alice.

🐄🐰In her letter Alice mentioned, that she attends all performances in Opera House. Chiori managed to get tickets for three of you on one of it.

You three celebrated by going to the wilderness and having a picnic.

Unfortunately, Lyney and Lynette saw you three. And Demon Snow, who helped you to cut food. They knew what they must do. Father will be proud.

🐄🐰It happened one week ago. One week ago, when during the preference, Lyney and Lynette blew your cover. One week of captivity. One week of being separated from Kenji and Kyuoka. One week of Alice trying to get you out of captivity. One week of Chiori being under arrest.

You, tortured and bloodied, were standing before Ivory Throne. Lyney and Lynette were standing near Creator's throne. Gold medals were shining on their chests. Creator, your exact double, were grinning. They finally got you.

You heard the sounds of chains. You barely managed to make out Kyuoka's and Kenji's silhouettes.

Creator wanted to break them. Show your broken body.

Big mistake.

You heard screams. Sounds of stones crumbling.

Kenji's growling.

"I must help [Y/N]!"

Kyuoka's hissing.

"Demon Snow, destroy everyone, who hurt [Y/N]!"

You wanted home so bad. It was so wrong, to see Kyouka killing again. To see Kenji angry.

You wished, you three would be home.

Portal opened under your feet.

👘🗡️🌂 Fukuzawa Yukichi and Koyouou Ozaki weren't sleeping. They were discussing, what they should do next, trying to find your three.

👘🗡️🌂 Their train of thoughts was interrupted by a loud rumbling, coming from the barn. It was loud enough to woke everyone's up.

👘🗡️🌂 In the barn were you three, and two strange people. Kyouka was holding her knife above Lynette, while Kenji was trying to throw a bolder at Lyney.

And you were laying on the floor. Wounded, but alive.

👘🗡️🌂 It took Dazai's nullification, Fukuzawa 'turning off' Kyouka's and Kenji's abilities, Fukuchi's and Tetchou's strength to drag Kyouka and Kenji from Lyney and Lynette.

They will be dealt later. Now, you three are main priority.

👘🗡️🌂🐄🐰You three still were dealing with aftermath of Teyvat's events. You were guarding Kenji's and Kyouka's rooms at night. Kenji refused to eat. Kyouka was using Demon Snow to patrol the house. You three were now under Kunikida's watch. He was making sure, that you three were eating and sleeping. Fukuzawa and Koyouou were staying near. To console you, to protect you. They will make sure, that you will never need to be afraid of loosing your lives.

Seelie! Genshin characters x Platonic! Gn! Reader

Summary : Genshin characters get isekaed into our world, but as seelies. Waking up in an shady alley, they were lucky enough to find you, or you to find them.

They genuinely didn't know how have the events turned out like this. Currently, they were in as they assumed, a seelie form, and in a whole other universe. They got that just from opening their eyes. Everything was so extremely detailed, exaggeratedly textured and completely unfamiliar to them. They tried to take out their weapons to protect themselves from any possible threat, but found out that they got rid of their hands. Arms and legs and other body parts in general. All that was left from them was their mind, their conciousness, as they were trapped in a fluid blob body, more similar to a circle. Fear have awakened in their instincts, and they worriedly and carefully levitated around, studying the environment.

They stumbled upon you :

Panic took over their body the instant they opened their eyelids. Not even having the time to process the situation, the instantly flew from their spot, bumping into some random things first, then finally getting their sense of balance after some painful hits. They wanted to escape whatever area they were in fast, flowing through long alley between buildings to the street lit up by the night lights. But, as they were about to be free, you were about to pass by and took a direct hit by a surprisingly strong aura blob. That happened to be the last hit they could take, as they blackened out and fell into your bag.

Kaveh, Mika, Itto, Yoimiya, Amber, Chongyun, Bennet, Barbara.

You stumbled upon them :

They froze in their spot from confusion, as their mind couldn't process any information given to them in the period of them opening their eyes and adjusting their view. Their body refused to move, as all they could think was "What". While their mind was somewhere in space, travelling with stars and meteors, you noticed a brightly colored orb casually sitting on an alley floor. You thought the whole image in front of you was questionable, but your body seemingly moved on it's own, getting dangerously close to the unknown object. Kneeling down to it's level, you with massive second thoughts muttered "what a strange thing" and proceded to pick up the blob and put it inside your bag.

Thoma, Dehya, Al-haitam, Tignari, Shenhe, Kokomi, Ayaka, Rosaria, Mona, Diluc, Xiangling, Xingqui.

They snuggled inside a box in fear and you heard their cries :

Fear and horror overtook their body, as they trembled underneath the unfriendly landscape. The fact that they were now smaller, and couldn't protect themselves didn't help either. Their non-existent heart seemed to race as they looked around, and saw a small entrance into some tight space. Finding no other good shelter, they hesitantly entered the carbon box and snuggled themselves in the corner. They can't help but let out quiet cries, as their squeaks had an irregular tone. You, taking a walk late at night heard the cries of something small in the distance, and rushed over to help whatever creature was in trouble. Though, you didn't expect to see a pretty colored circle with ears, stuffed inside a box and shaking violently. Flashing them a warm smile, you carefully reached out your hand, seeing if the sentient balloon would response. Them, seeing your kind gesture, instinctively bolted from their shelter into you arms, nuzzling deep into your hoodie. You couldn't help but yelp a little, but then gaining your composure, you gently put them in your bag and headed home.

Wanderer, Ganyu, Fischl, Sucrose.

They explored around with cautiousness :

They are not usually the ones to give panic or fear control of their body. They reacted calmly to the situation, trying their best not to worry too much. Afterall, they are still strong, even if they don't have their weapons, and have turned into a seelie, right? Silently floating around the area and carefully studying the objects, they tried to locate where they were and what to do from now on. Peeking out slightly into the street from one of the buildings walls, they met your gaze and quickly backed away. Nervously searching for a hiding spot, they were met with the grasp of your hands, holding them firmly as they felt fear in their gut. But, seeing as you gently turned them to face you, attentively examining their features and form, and then smiling at them and saying "What on earth are you?" They couldn't help but feel safeness for the first time in this day. Maybe, just maybe, you are actually not bad.

Wanderer, Shinobu, Yunjin, Gorou, Raiden, Kujou Sara, Aether, Lumine, Eola, Yanfei, Xiao, Xinyan, Keqing, Jean, Razor, Noelle, Kayea, Beidou, Cyno.

They explored around with amusement :

They are fearless bastards, barely having anything threatening in their own world, they think they can fly around safely in a whole another planet. They spectate their surroundings with amazement or amusement, as they find the scenery interesting. They probably have already thought about this kind of thing, floating careless as a seelie, without a worry in mind. First they were only met with walls and trash that seemed gigantic to them, until you caught their perepherrial vision. They rushed towards your direction, sneakily burying themselves in the bag you were holding. You, dense and unknowing you, didn't even notice their genius plan and intentions, as you strolled back home from the store with noise-canceling earphones.

Baizhu, Zhongli, Heizou, Yelan, Ayato, Yae miko, Kazuha, Hu Tao, Albedo, Childe, Venti, Ninguang, Lisa.

Ahhhh is this long? Idk. But, this is my apology for the short-ass continuation of the previous fic😁. Wanderer has two tropes because I couldn't decide which one suited him the most🤔.

synopsis: what i think they’d be like as your roommate (can be taken romantically or platonically)

notes: i have a full length heizou fic in the works that i hope to release in a week or two!! i was going to add him into this but i don’t want to write too much for him before his release since we don’t know enough about him yet

diluc:

morning person who sticks to a very strict routine

he always gets up early to make breakfast and always makes sure to make you some too

honestly, he always cooks for you and he’s good at it too

not one for movies or tv shows, but if you ask him to watch one with you he most definitely will

if you find a bug or something, he’s instantly going to go kill it for you or take it out of the house

overall 10/10 roommate

kaeya:

cool but annoying roommate

when he comes home, he always has stories to tell you. he likes to lay down on your bed and tell them in the most dramatic way possible (but you always listen)

oddly clean, i feel like he doesn’t really like messes

you guys probably eat out a lot because both of you are disasters in the kitchen (especially together)

you guys most definitely have a switch and spend an ungodly amount of time playing mario kart

overall really fun to be around and you never get bored of having him around

xiao:

you guys probably don’t talk much

he’s really quiet and keeps to himself and his schedule

he’s an early riser but also stays up late at night

you’ll often hear music coming from his room, but it’s usually faint and rather calming music

you’re probably the one who cooks and he really likes your food. he’s not picky, but he doesn’t enjoy getting fast food

sometimes he’ll silently join you if you’re watching a movie or something

if you fall asleep outside of your room, he’ll take you back to your bed and make sure you’re okay

he’s very caring, even if he doesn’t show it much

thoma:

kind of obvious, but out of everyone, he’s definitely the best person to be roommates with

always makes sure your guys’ home is clean and he always makes sure you and him are well fed

always invites you to cook with him and every time you do, it’s always fun

you guys will often have movie or game nights together

you probably both fall asleep on the couch together too

definitely very caring and supportive and you guys always have your doors open to one another if you need to talk

childe:

chaotic as fuck

you don’t really get a lot of peace living with him

loud and definitely messy

you guys play a lot of games together and it gets competitive every single time

you have to cook because he nearly burned down the kitchen once

you guys rarely agree on things, but you still get along

let’s just say, sometimes you regret living with him

yoimiya:

she decorates your guys’ apartment really nicely, but it’s very colorful

she’s got a lot of energy and really enjoys being around you

if she’s going out, she always makes sure to invite you to go with her

you guys definitely go grocery shopping together (especially to places like farmers markets)

you guys always hang out in one of your rooms and talk for hours

you guys definitely bake a lot too (i feel like she has a sweet tooth)

dainsleif:

kinda like xiao, he keeps to himself most of the time

he does enjoy indulging in conversations with you though, though they do tend to be more on the philosophical side

loves to sleep, but is a total night owl

he probably has a large collection of books and prefers them over movies or tv shows

you always couldn’t help but wonder - do those twins really have any purpose in their journey? traversing many, many worlds without settling for home…does it not get tiring? but even as you got to know them a long time ago, you could tell the smile on their face is genuine. they are happy.

and yet here you are. you walked across the boundaries of your homeworld as teyvat’s stars extended their hands to you, pulling you in. you are just like them now: a traveler. and you pride yourself on that, though lost and confused you may be.

you journeyed on yourself and surveyed if the world was a suitable place to settle down. you have seen many sights, met many people, eaten meals galore. you were welcome wherever you went, the people fascinated by yet another world-trotter.

hm? what’s that, you hear? another world-trotter? the fact that you aren’t the first piqued your interest. you ask the people who else has traversed this land from another. but before they can answer, a familiar voice calls out to you.

“(y/n)? you…you’re here?”

you turn your head towards the direction of the voice and sure enough, there they are. one of the twins. you find this very strange indeed - the two of them are pretty much inseparable, yet only one presents themself to you.

“hehe, i am. i never thought i would find you here too. though shouldn’t there be…?”

you respond, a bit hesitant to say the other twin’s name, seeing the twin’s sad smile. they only shake their head and sit down in the seat next to you. knowing what you’re in for, you prepare for them to speak.

“it’s a long story…”

they tell you the tale of their separation, leading you to wish you could’ve reunited on better terms. at random intervals, their flying companion would chime in and add quirky little comments of her own which at least make you laugh. once they finish talking, you only sigh and you throw your gaze to the ceiling, deep in thought.

“what are you thinking of?”

you take the time to search for the right words and form the right sentences. they have been through what the faint-hearted could never and you admire them for that. you keep those feelings of admiration in your chest, let them bubble up and then you tell them.

“i’m thinking of joining you on your journey.”

when you turn to look at them, you indulge in the surprised expression on both their and their flying companion’s face. then they offer you a smile - that same smile you recognise from the world over. you silently thank whatever divine being is up there for one unchanging thing.

“you are more than welcome to.”
