It actually shocks me that there are people that are mentally healthy, that people wake up almost every day feeling okay. That there are people who don't have to go to the bathroom to escape a situation that it seems like everybody else seems to be fine with.

People who self harm aren't weak. We're coping.
People who self harm aren't emo. We're often mentally ill.
People who self harm aren't crazy. We're hurting.
People who self harm aren't attention seeking. We need help.
Please try your best to be compassionate towards people who self harm. We don't need you to make us feel guilty or alone. We feel enough of that on our own. It takes a lot to turn mental pain into physical pain. You don't have to pretend to understand what we're going through, sometimes we just need somebody to listen.

I love oversized sweaters so much
They're just so comfy and warm and it's like being wrapped in a hug 24/7. Plus, if you're somewhat flat-chested like me, you could not wear a bra underneath it and nobody will know.

In 7th grade science we were talking about how the Earth has layers. My teacher asked us what else had layers, and somebody said oranges, then another person said onions, and at that moment I wanted so badly to raise my hand and say ogres but I didn't, and I think that's my biggest regret to this day.

When it comes to talents and skills, I swear I'm the most mediocre person on the planet.
-I can kinda dance with choreography but the movements never look great and I can't freestyle or choreograph
-I can draw sorta decently but it never looks right
-My writing is okay, but I always mess it up somehow
-I can kinda come up with ideas for writing or drawing or something but they're never the most creative and I can't really fully develop them
