You hugged your sweater close as you watched the snow fall around slowly, the weather had warmed a bit but that was it. It was still chillingly cold everywhere. The winter had started only a week ago but at this rate it wouldn't be late for the city to freeze.

You took a deep breath, looking up at the moon. It was round and bright, the craters visible at such a distance making you wonder just how big they were. The moon was truly wonderful and you were glad that it was there.

The sound of the door to the roof opening, caught your attention but you didn't turn back, too entranced by the moon.

"Want to catch a cold?" You heard a grumpy voice say, a voice you could recognise anywhere, Bakugo Katsuki. You turned to face him and gave him a polite smile, trying to calm your racing heart. He did that to you ,sometimes even worse.

"It's a small price to pay." You replied, turning back to look back at the moon. The guy next to you and the moon were similar in many ways... Just like the moon he was so unique, one of a kind honestly and just like the moon standing out amongst the stars, he stood out amongst everybody. He had this constant atmosphere about him that just inspired everybody, including you.

"You really are an idiot." He said, shaking his head. Though it was an insulting name, there was something about the way he said that made your heart skip a beat, you genuinely were hopeless.

"If admiring something makes me an idiot, then I will gladly be one." You replied, smiling yet again. Your answer was true, you would gladly be known as an idiot for admiring something you love and in this instance the thing was him.

"But if admiring something would lead you to something dangerous, you are just stupid." He said, looking at the moon with you.

"It's okay to be stupid sometimes." You said, turning towards him.

Hearing that made him turn as well, a serious expression on his face. Without the frown, you couldn't help but take in the sight in front of you. His blonde hair had snow in it as well as his lashes, his cheeks were red from the cold air making him look otherworldly. He was truly beautiful and those magical eyes of his, they were like the embers of a fire... burning bright and providing you warmth in the cold weather, they were dangerous if you got too close but oh did you want to get close...

"But is it worth it to be stupid?" He asked, taking a step towards you. You couldn't comprehend what he meant but you hoped that it was what you wanted it to be. His face was serious and yet confused. He looked nervous but you knew that wasn't it. Your breath picked up its pace, your heart pounding faster by the minute.

"You will have to be stupid to know that..." You took a step forward as well. You weren't sure of what you meant but you knew that you were able to say what you wanted to perfectly.

Caught in a trance, you reached out to move his hair out of his face. You were close. Too close. His eyes looked at yours. Full of emotions. You could see his breath forming in the air. Beautiful. Thats what he was. Wonderful. Thats what he was. You were in a daze. He had this effect on you. You liked it. You loved it.

You gently placed your hand his cheek. Taking a deep breath. Trying to figure out what this was. A dream. That has to be it. But no, it wasn't. This was real. He was real. And he qas standing in front of you, looking at you the same way you looked at him. With want. With need. With love.

He slowly leaned down and before you knew it, his lips were on yours. They moved im sync with yours, caressing them. It fit. Just like two puzzle pieces, it fit. The missing piece that you never knew was there, was finally found. Your hand was on his chest, his heart beating under matching your own frantic one, while his were on your waist.

"Was that stupid?" You whispered, pulling back a little. Your eyes were closed, letting the moment linger longer. Savoring it.

You giggled softly, leaning against the doorframe and watching him sleep peacefully.

It has been hectic for him lately, with more night shifts added to his already cramped schedule, leaving him with minimal time to relax and even lesser to be with you.

You missed each other too much that even the regular phone calls were no longer enough for either of you, but today was a rare day off for him, one that you decided to take full advantage of.

His eyes moved between your pained expression and the forgotten roses that he finally decided to pick up, "these aren't that bad I guess." in reality, he hated them, he hated how disgustingly bright and delicate they were, but what he hated the most was being the reason of your dejection, so if accepting them would bring back your smile, then so be it.

He's a conceited self-centered asshole, so bringing him a gift with no particular occasion would only boost his arrogance. You knew that, but you still wanted to do something nice for him because even a jerk like him still made you happy, he's the love of your life after all.

_ "Yeah yeah I get it." you still feigned annoyance, but deep down you were actually amused.

_ "I'm sorry sweetheart, come here," his chuckles resumed as he dragged you close, nuzzling your neck and breathing in your scent, "hmm.. sweet," his lips lingered there, right above your pulse, and his free arm pulled you even closer to his chest while the other one held the bouquet, "they're beautiful and I love them, thank you love." and that was a rare moment of humbleness that he only dares to show you because you're the one who owns his heart.

Denki :

_ "Yes! Die you bastard! If you think you've got a chance against Chargebolt then you're clearly dreaming!" his loud shouts reached the outside of your shared apartment where you stood, and you let out a knowing chuckle before opening the front door and walking in.

Your days off are usually lazy, warm and cozy, and it's a nice change of pace from your usual stressful lives as pro heroes, which is why you two prefer to spend that precious free time doing typical ordinary things.

_ "I'm back honey!" you called out for him as you placed your shopping bags at the entrance, except for one thing that you kept holding in your arms.

He clearly couldn't hear you due to all of the infernal shooting and explosions coming from the game he was focused on, so you called again and this time it worked.

_ "Oh! Y/n you're back sweetheart!" he seemed like a little puppy who's excited for his owner's return, throwing his game console away and running up to you, "did you have a good time with the girls? I missed you so much! You were gone for so long!" yes, a little puppy.

He was so happy to see you that he failed to notice the colourful roses you held in your arms, until you pushed the fragrant blooms to his chest with a smile, "I'm sorry for being late, here is an apology gift." it was merely an excuse so you would see that sparkle in his eyes.

_ "These are amazing!" he took them off your hands, peppering your cheeks, nose and forehead with sweet little kisses, "you're the best y/n," was what he whispered to you before finally connecting your lips.

When your fiancé leaves in the morning, you know immediately that he’ll be back before he gets to his car.

He heads off to work and leaves you with your breakfast, but you feel the cold air he lets in when he opens the door—it bites at your nose and leaves your bare feet chilled. Katsuki runs hot; you’ve been with him long enough of the low curses he begins to mutter under his breath about the cold around this time of year.

So when he opens the door again to fetch extra layers, you’re there to greet him.

The gloves come first. You hand them off with a grin—they’re pretty, suede, a birthday present from months prior getting its first use. They look nice on him. That’s all you allow yourself to think, as you watch him tug them on grumpily.

The scarf you wrap around his neck securely yourself. His cheeks are flush, lips pouting, eyes cast to the side the same way his head is turning. He leans in though, and he doesn’t fight when you use the scarf to tug him down and press a kiss to his nose as your other hand takes his to hold.

“All bundled up,” you coo, because he’ll hate it. “My big strong pro hero.”

“Dumbass,” Katsuki mutters under his breath. You giggle and nip at the nose you just kissed, if only to hear him growl in response.

“You’re welcome,” you tell him brightly.

“Fuckin’ insane. Dunno how you can be all cheery in this weather,” he grunts.

“It’s nice. Makes me wanna snuggle up and stay in bed all day…”

A snort. “Yeah. Like you’d ever.”

“If you were with me I would.”

“Nice try.”

He can’t stay, you both know it, so in apology his hand lingers on yours when he pulls away, fingers tracing along your wrist and down your palm before finally disappearing. You can feel the fleeting heat, even though those gloves, as you watch him get into his car and drive off. And if you let your own press against the wrist he’d just touched, savoring it, then that’s for you and the wind to know.
