Both were asleep in bed, when little 7 year old Tony walked into the bedroom and climbing into their bed.
Jason woke up first rubbing his eyes and sighed, "Bubba what you doing? We built you a new big boy bed last week.."
"Bad dream.." Said little Tony balling up his fist and getting under the covers, "..and Daddy is out."
"Oh right Momma visiting Aunt Peg for the week.."
"I'm sorry..c-can I stay?"
That moment Elizabeth woke up ruffling her nephew's bed head and yawned, "Sure, Bambino. But you wanna talk about the bad dream first?"
Tony looked down holding his teddy bear and mumbled, "I was in a dark and scary cave with a dragon..and I could not fight him, I was running but there no way to go.."
"Aww sweetie, look it's okay not every dream is gonna be a good one but you're okay. Everything is okay, you hear me?"
" I know..it's okay, b-but I was lost and scared..I did not save the princess..I fail.."
"Oh no sweetie, you didn't fail anyone. It was just a bad dream, there are no dragons here to hurt you."
"But the princess?"
"Maybe you will save her in the next dream."
Jason added with a tired smile, "Or maybe the princess already saved herself? Like auntie Lizzie or auntie Peg. And she's now waiting for you in the dream."
"Really?" Tony asked with a small smile.
"Yeah, sometimes it's the little prince that needs to go on journey to find the princess waiting for him in the end."
"Okay, I am ready to sleep now..and meet the princess."
"Out of curiosity, who was the princess?"
"Her name was Molly."
"Ohh nice name."
Elizabeth cut in with a chuckle, "Yeah very nice! Now we can please go to sleep and save the kingdom tonight in this dream?"
The boys nodded with a smile, cuddling up in bed with the lady of the house.
------
Elizabeth blowing raspberries on Tony's tummy as his giggles filled up the house with laughter. Jason was building up rocking chair in the living room and walked into the kitchen.
Jarvis was making lunch for them.
"Hey babe." He said with a smile, kissing her forehead then gave his nephew one on the cheek.
"Hi dear." She replied with a smile bouncing their nephew in her lap who giggled brightly.
It was a running gag but a sweet one calling each other pet names since the day they met. It went beyond, just them calling each other nicknames Jason called Jarvis's wife, Ana, honey and doll all the time as a term of endearment.
Tumblr media
"JJ!" Tony yelled in glee with a toothy grin, as both adults looked their eyes at his silliness.
Something that would carry on once Tony is older is that silly toothy grin of his, no matter what the situation is. Especially his giggles.
Jarvis set the table for them, as Jason rushed over to help him and cutting Elizabeth's food into smaller sizes. Ana joined them soon enough watching all of this in curiosity. However, it confused the British man, once they all sat down to eat.
"Why does Jason need to cut your food, Miss Stark?" Jarvis asked them as he ate.
"Just watch, dear." Ana added, curious knowing she will get an answer.
With Tony's booster seat resting between them. Ana grabs a glass of wine and sits next to her husband. Looking at the kid who are begin to eat but what caught Jarvis's eye was Tony’s other hand gripping Elizabeth’s left hand in a tight grip.
"Aww how adorable." Ana said with a smile eating her chicken.
"It is indeed but what exactly is happening? I might need an explanation." Jarvis questioned with a smile.
"Tony had this new habit where he only can eat if he holds Elizabeth or Maria’s hand. It started a few days ago." Jason explained chuckling as he ate.
"I don't mind it. It keeps him relaxed and allows me to make sure he's doing alright while eating." Elizabeth replied eating with her other hand.
"What happens if you remove your hand?" Ana asked, in love with the way Tony's happily eating.
Elizabeth lets go of Tony's hand and all of them looking at the youngest Stark who started fusing while chewing a piece of meat, one hand starts waving asking for his auntie’s hand.
Elizabeth just let Tony wrap his fingers with her own in the meantime as Ana chuckled and Jarvis snorted with a smile.
"Howard tried it yesterday, removing Tony's hand away from Maria and he just cried. Not pretty." Jason added chuckling.
"It was hilarious!" Elizabeth told them as she snickered, "My brother promised to let him sleep with their room last night, if he stopped. Howard was third wheeling."
------
“Will you please go to sleep now? You're a growing boy, come on please do it Uncle JJ.” Jason sighed and rubbed his own face with his palm.
“No way.” Tony runs “I wan Liz…”
“I give up.” Jason buried his face in the kid’s bed
Jason finally gets up and walks to the living room where his best girl is reading something from her notebook. Watching Tony just dive to her lap startling the woman.
“What the-?” Elizabeth jumped out of reflex “I-shouldn’t you be in bed and counting sheep?”
“I’m not sleepy.” Tony shakes his head.
“Well, I am.” Jason sighed and sat next to Elizabeth looking into her eyes hoping she understood the silent help signal, "No more kids, one is enough.."
Tumblr media
That was when Hank Pym called as Elizabeth put him on the speaker and started talking with him as she tried to put her kid to sleep.
"Lizzie is this a bad time?" Hank asked while on the phone, hearing Tony mumbling in the background and Jason's voice muttering something.
"No, Hankie it's fine. Someone's allergic to sleep just like his father, I'll pay you 500 bucks if you can get him to sleep." Elizabeth replied jokingly.
"I'll see what I can do. Do you remember the equation use for invention you and Howard were making?"
"Actually, yeah I do. The one for that android prototype? Yeah I do."
"Good because I thinking we can use for this new formula I was creating."
Both scientists go to work, talking with the equipment and possible new investments they would make that month to present to the others. Laughing and gushing about their week as well.
Jason was napping when he was accidentally smack on the shoulder due to Elizabeth's excitement how on they can improve the formula for the shrink ray.
"Ow!" He shouted softly, being woken up.
"Oh, sorry JJ. I was just, you know." She replied trying to explain with a chuckle.
"I know let me take this little guy off your hands."
"Alright."
Both expected to find Tony still awake on his auntie's lap but he nodding off as they spoke. They chuckled quietly thanking Hank's believing their science talk tired him out or something.
He picked him up as Tony's head rested on his shoulder, his eyes were trying to stay open as he mumbled, "I'm not tired...no sleepy.."
"Oh yes you are, Bubba. Very sleepy." Jason said with a soft chuckle with sighed, "Say night night."
Elizabeth stood up cupping his little face mumbling sweet nothing into his ears as Tony hummed a soft, "..night night."
"Night, my little star." She replied with a soft smile, deciding to help tuck him in.
They tucked in their little boy, turning on the recording on Maria Stark's gentle singing voice as background noise for Tony.
Moments like that, they both wished Howard and Maria were not busy sometimes but they're more than happy to raise the little guy instead.
----
As much as he is their little boy, he is Howard's son and that being said he was a little rebellious at time. Especially in his early teens and his years as an adult..
"Anthony Edward Stark, where the hell you think your going?" Elizabeth asked with her arms crossed and tapped her foot with a glare.
"Out!" Repiled Tony, who was 12 years old at this point with a classic smirk.
"It's Monday afternoon on a school night!"
"So?"
"So you're not heading out to whatever your heading off to! I don't care what it is, Friday it's another thing, I allow it. But Monday, hell no!"
"You're not dad, auntie Liz!"
"And thank god I ain't. Be lucky it ain't Peggy either, why do you want to head out anyway? To act cool with your friends?"
Tony sighed in defeat dramatically dropping the smirk and crossed his arms, "Well no shit. All my friends are doing it."
Jason stepped in after returning home from an getting supplies hearing his nephew, "Please tell you didn't just curse in front of your aunt."
"I just said 'shit'! Relax.." Tony replied with a sigh thinking of something knowing who's the softer parent, "And aunt Liz won't let me go out."
"First off no cursing at your aunt. And second, out where?"
"An party..all my friends will be there!"
"Is it on Friday?"
"Yup! It's on Friday, it's a small party."
Elizabeth scoffed, "No! It's tonight, an silly little stupid party with his friends doing god knows what. God knows if the parents will be there!"
"She's lying! She doesn't want me to have fun this week and stay stuck in this house, only invite to Rhodey or something." Tony shouted.
"Enough!" Jason yelled raising his voice, "I know she ain't lying and that you're the one who is actually lying. You know the rules Tony, no parties or anything on school night like Monday. And something tells me those kids parents don't know they're going to that party."
"B-but that's not fair! I should be allow to go." Tony yelled.
"No you shouldn't and it is fair, she’s saving you for tomorrow. She knows that something off is going on if it's on a Monday, simple as that. Doesn't that sound a little weird to you?"
"...yeah..it does."
"We will talk about this later."
A few more words were said before Tony left to the living room. Liz was pissed off and so was Jason.
He sighed and told her, "You were doing the right thing."
"I know.." She sighed, "I know. I'm just trying to protect him. Something tells me this won't be the last argument."
"Cause it won't. But we just try to lead him down the right path.."
"You got that right. Protecting him and all that.."
----
Road trips with the three of them tend to be something else. Tony always making himself known with questions, annoying them on purpose and snickering afterwards.
Tumblr media
"Where we going?" Tony asked in the backseat, playing with his jacket zipper.
"To meet Peggy and your parents in San Diego." Elizabeth replied like it was obvious with a smile.
"And why are you driving?"
"Because your uncle JJ has a bad history with driving."
Jason perked up, "I'm right here, you know?!
Tony snorted, "Okay what time we get there?"
"Midnight." Elizabeth said with sigh.
"What happens at midnight?"
"You're bedtime."
"Can I drive?"
Both shouted at the same time, "No!"
That resulted in Tony laughing at their response as both parents chuckled at his ridiculous way to make times like that a joke or two.
---
Sometimes Elizabeth tends to become a mama bear, as if she isn't already. Like when Tony started dating, Howard rolled his eyes chuckling at his sister and Maria gushed hoping her boy enjoys the dating scene.
Elizabeth on the other hand, she was so excited and sat beside Jason one afternoon while he was reading. He was reading a classic children's' book from the shelfs, 'The Giving Tree' when Elizabeth came with a grin.
"Yes my darling?" He asked looking up from the book with a laugh.
"Tony got a date!" She repiled with a smile.
"With who? I mean I'm not surprise our kid has been a cheeky little guy since the age of 3."
"You know that day Howard took Tony down to that event in Chicago? Well there was this nice girl there with her mother, Tony sneaked off to see her and now they met again due to her mother bringing her here for an clothing event. And according to Ana, he has a date."
"That's my boy. If he's not a gentleman, I'll ground him for life. Where to?"
"Ana said that caravel downtown this weekend. She was eavesdropping and I love her for it."
"Not bad for a first actually date with a girl he seems to like."
Elizabeth sigh assuming something, Jason knew that look on her face and ask her what's going on.
"I don't want to sound cheesy but he's growing up so fast, JJ! I mean where did the time go? It felt like I was helping him add 2 + 2 yesterday! Now a date? Damn..he's my baby." Elizabeth admitted with a sigh.
Jason opened his arms pulling her into an tight embrace as she was nuzzling comfortably against his neck. She pouted, it was a rare moment but she did. He chuckled rubbing her shoulder.
Tumblr media
"Aw, Lizzie, darling. He's growing up, I don't like it. Hell I would rather stop time and let him stay the way he is now. But we can't. Before we know it, he's buying his own house or deciding to buy this one off his father." Jason joked with a smile.
Elizabeth chuckled, "He might as well do that. I'm not ready for him to keep growing up, what if he doesn't want hugs from his auntie anymore? What if he grows up hating the idea of living with us? I mean it's a packed a house, i don’t blame him."
"Hahaha no, honey he won't. I think he rather have a packed house than a quieter one. And he will always need his auntie, he's your baby. Tony knows it, hell he might make you an godmother one day."
"Oh god no, don't think that far hahaha! I want him live in the moment now, before he's old and gray. I'm still gonna baby him no matter how old he is! You know that right?"
"Oh I know. And he's gonna be annoyed but love you for it. No matter what you do, you will be there to protect him and stand up for him."
"You too!"
"Oh hell yeah I will!"
---
And they are right about that. Yeah sure, Lizzie was gone under the ice for years due to a freak accident thinking she was goner. Having Jason and Tony feeling down in the dumps for some time.
But when that girl returned, her mama bird side came with her. And the man who was her right hand was more than happy about that.
"He's insane!" Liz yelled with a sigh, pointing at her nephew, "You're insane."
"Hello?! Have you met me?" Tony replied with a chuckle, "I think Pepper would love a big bunny for an anniversary slash Christmas present."
"Okay I dealt the whole 'I'm Iron Man, I can do whatever the hell I want' thing. But your Tony Stark! My Tony Stark, use that head of yours is a big bunny a good idea?"
"JJ gets you big jewelry and spoils you! I blame him for my actions, the bunny stays."
"Oh jeez. Did you at least get dinner ready?"
"Yeah it's pizza tonight. Why are you acting so uptight lately?"
Elizabeth sighed, "I've been asleep for years in ice and I come back to find you as Iron Man. A superhero. I know it's been an year now, but a part of me is still scared your gonna blow it!"
Tony chuckled pulling his auntie into a hug, "Oh Liz, it's me we're talking about. Hell, JJ is still terrified for my life. And honestly, I've already it blew it last year, in New York. I am stressed but I will be fine.."
"I know about your late night snacking and sleepless night, Tony. I'm worried about you. We all are."
"I know you are..but if anything happens, I will tell you. I promise."
~~~
Last forward to Christmas time, once the house blew up and JARVIS announces Tony's anxiety problems to everyone after arriving at the snowy side of the U.S. before shutting off.
Tumblr media
Soon enough, they're dragging themselves across the snow to find a safe house. Rei's suit is being dragged across the snow, as he decide to start helping his godfather.
Liz snaps, "Anything you want to tell me?!"
"Okay in my defense I was gonna tell you soon." Tony winced.
"When?!"
"I was gonna make you an omelette and tell you about it!"
"Oh my god!"
Jason sighed dragging the Iron Man suit with them across with snow as the night fall onto of them.
"You two knew about this?! This whole time and didn't think of telling me?!" Jason yelled.
"I thought you knew about this! Or that he told you!" Liz yelled back.
"Great, now Ma and Pops are fighting." Rei added sarcastically, "Good job, Dad!"
Tony turned look at his son, “I’m sorry, how is this my fault?”
“Isn’t everything?”
“This is unbelievable.”
----
Other times, Jason and Elizabeth would be protecting themselves or their kids presence even when the guy isn't nearby.
Such as 2014, when they were called by SHIELD when it came to Alexander Pierce wanting their signature onto the new helicarriers.
Jason was tired as he asked, "Okay Pierce, what the hell is this?"
Elizabeth was standing next to him and pressed, "Mr. Secertary, what he meant is there a reason you've asked us to come here?"
"Signature, Mr. Underwood and Miss Stark." Said Pierce holding out pens, "As well, I was hoping you ask your nephew to stop by my niece's birthday party as a favor for Nick."
"He's our nephew, not a party entertainer." Elizabeth said with a raise eyebrow.
"Unless it's for his own children, and at the moment he's not dealing with your favors." Jason added, "What's the favor you're doing for Nick?"
"That's classified information, sir." Pierce replied.
"Of course it is..you know, it was a pretty long day and I don't want to be here. Matter a fact, none of us want to be to here! So good night Alexander." Elizabeth said standing up from her chair.
Jason stood up following her, opening the door for the girl as he gave Pierce an odd look before walking out. However that didn’t stop Elizabeth Stark to get information later on that day, returning to Alexander Pierce’s office after cooling down to get any information needed.
——
Sometimes due to Jason and Elizabeth being so close to Tony, along with their godchildren they get mistaken for the actual parents. Hell, even for being a couple more than once.
Such as in the early to late 2010s, Justin Hammer once asked, “Are theses your parents, Stark? I thought they were dead..”
Tony would give an sarcastic smile and reply, “Aw Hammer, you’re jealous? Too bad not everyone was given 3 sets of parents.”
“Three?”
“Oh yeah, didn’t you hear? Or were you too busy washing yourself in that horrible 80s cologne?”
Justin scoffed, “Damn. But seriously, are they giving out set of parents for free or what?”
“No. They’re mine, you can’t have them.” Tony added with a smirk.
~~~
Tumblr media
Or when Fury called Tony and The Avengers out a few times, he will tend to bring JJ and Liz names into conversation, using the term parents. Such as in 2015, when they are all in Clint’s Barn. Also known as The Safe House.
Everyone was in the kitchen, including the teens and kids. Some were at the table such as Natasha, Bruce, Rick, Ava, Rei and Rochelle. Others were surrounding the area near the sink and fridge across from the kitchen island, such as Tony, Clint and Steve with Liane and Luna.
Clint’s wife Laura was listening in as the younger kids were wondering around.
Elizabeth was drying dishes as Jason washed them, meanwhile Fury was finishing placing some orange slices on a plate.
Nat spoke up, “You know boss, when I was hoping I saw ya, you would have more than that.”
Fury replied, “I do. I have you. Back in the day, I had eyes everything, ears everywhere else. You kids have all the things you can dream to use, Stark’s parents didn’t have much to work with beforehand but they made do. Now here we are, back on earth with nothing but our wit and our willingness to do good.”
Jason added, “Just like old times, huh? Rehashing a plan during dinner, then collaborating in the morning to figure out what can be done..”
“Ain’t that the truth. Nothing but our strength to save the world and make a difference for others.” Elizabeth commented with a grin.
Fury gave them a half smile and continued his speech, “Ultron says The Avengers are the only thing between him and his mission. And weather or not he admits it, his mission is global destruction. All this lay in the grave. So stand, out with the platinum bastard.”
Natasha winked at Rick and Rochelle before saying with a smirk, “Steve doesn’t like that kinda talk.”
Steve gave her a humorous mock glare, “You know what, Romanoff?”
The teens and young adults in the room snorted and chuckled. The group kept talking, figuring out what will they all do next, with the young members of the team chiming into the conversations.
Even Jason mentioned, “You can try Pentagon's firewall, are they open this time?”
“That could work, they are still roughly open this time and hour.” Elizabeth comments.
“Should i know why you know that?”
“I had to message the Pentagon years ago to reach an barrier of systemic risks, for SHIELD’s locating tactics. And Tony did something he wasn’t supposed to..”
“Oh god, what was it this time?”
Fury ate his orange slice answering, “You’re boy cracked into SHIELD systemic burns, but beforehand he cracked their firewall.”
“That’s something, I do think I remember he did!” He replied chuckling, “We got mysterious calls afterwards for weeks.”
Tony chimed in with a grin sounding proud and said, “I cracked the Pentagon’s firewall in high school on a dare and got a sweet deal afterwards.”
Elizabeth grinned brightly, “That’s my boy! Definitely a win in my books.”
“And me? I cracked into SHIELD firewall too multiple times.” Rei added with a sly smile, as you could hear his godfather holding back his laughter in the background.
“I love you too, kiddo!” She replied to her sarcastic godson, “Both of you are the reasons for the facility's cyber-security sub-bar.”

stony I've read in the past three months
How to Date a Superhero Without Even Trying by sabrecmc | based on a prompt from a Tumblr Anon, it's 2am and Tony drunk dials his ex. He gets Captain America instead. (Warning for attempted non-con that is most definitely interrupted.)
Ripple Effect (post-IW time travel fix it) by sabrecmc | After the events of Infinity War, Steve is sent back in time on a desperate mission to find the Tesseract. Instead, he meets up with 21-year old Tony, still reeling from his parents' deaths. Who, naturally, tries to climb Steve like a tree. Somehow, this fixes everything.
(Restricted) While Everyone's Lost (The Battle Is Won) by jukeboxhound | E, 6.9k words | Steve closes his eyes in 1945 and wakes up in 2012. Well. They certainly didn’t put that on the recruiting poster.
The Future by InesStarkDowney | T, 1.6k words | After the whole Germany thing, Peter is quick to spend a lot of time with his mentor, Tony Stark. And despite feeling and acting like a fanboy over his mentor, Peter is quick to find several things that he wasn't aware about Tony, simply because it's not public knowledge, like: Tony Stark is a very sad man. Peter wants to change that.
You can make this figure with your hips by haemodye | E, 6.2k words | Tony wakes up with a screaming headache, years into the future, where almost everyone he loves is dead.
Bless The Broken Road by PinkEasterEggs | G, 104k words | In 1950, Peter Carter goes missing. In 2005, a boy who looks exactly like Peggy Carter and Steve Roger's kidnapped son is found. Tony doesn't even hesitate (okay, he may have hesitated a little) to take the boy under his wing.
the steve rogers rating system by meidui | G, 866 words | Tony has an internalised Steve Rogers rating system, but it’s not standardised. It’s also not a foolproof system because Steve behaves in ways that crash it all the time.
Kingdom of Iron, Kingdom of Clay [unfinished] by WhenasInSilks | E, 9.9k words | Tony isn't pining. He can’t afford to--doesn't have space for it in his head. It's hard enough just to do his job while wading through the murky waters of post-Accords international politics, and Steve Rogers? He’s a liability, in more ways than one. That's why Tony laid down the law at the end of their last, ill-conceived encounter. “Take care of yourself, Cap. Stay the fuck out of my life.” If only Steve weren’t so lousy at following orders (aka the one where Steve and Tony have a conversation, and then another conversation, and then bang things out in a hotel. There's a lot more nuance, world building, character detail, emotional turmoil, etc. but, like. In a nutshell. part of a series)
ends of the earth by meidui | T, 2k words | “We have a new deal,” Tony interrupts. “From now on, you feel like you messed up, you come home to me. You come home to New York and we figure it out together. If you’re on this cross country road trip and living on a farm because you like it, fine, I’ll come out and visit. But if you’re out here because you’re sorry, I’ve got some bad news for you, buddy. Not even you could fix the entire world.”
A Teddy Bear Named Steve by nightwalker | G, 2.6k words | While cleaning out the attic, Tony finds some old friends he thought long lost.
capsize by killaidanturner | T, 4.4 k words | For the first time Steve sees Peggy in Tony, he always thought it was Howard, the showman, but all along it’s been Peggy and the way that she had her shoulders pulled just a little bit back to make her appear taller.
Life After You by ashinan | G, 2.5k words | Steve knew Peggy had a life after the war. He just didn't think it included telling stories to a young Tony Stark.
Fairy Godmother by Amuly (restricted) | T, 5.1k words | Auntie Peggy has been telling Tony stories about Captain America his whole life. Only problem is, the real thing just about measures up to the stories. Which means, of course, that Aunt Peg has to go to work, because an Aunt's work is never done.
I never knew how much I would lose by percy (shittyspacedads) | T 583 words | It's Peggy Carter's funeral, in the middle of a civil war. And she was very important to both Tony and Steve.
Trying to Bridge Dark Water by sororexitium | T, 4,9k words | Peggy was ninety-one years old and trying to bridge the gap between the then and the now. Steve and Tony were good at making that difficult.

History/Background:
Stacy was born on Feb. 21, 1941. Her biological mother was Peggy Carter, who offered to have the child for Steve and Bucky who wanted a kid (the government couldn't do anything bc they were American heroes and they kept it quiet). After her dads died around 1946, she was taken in by Peggy Carter. Six years later, Stacy was kidnapped by HYDRA and cryrofrozen for later experimentation so they might have another supersoldier. In 2012, after the Battle of New York, the Avengers found the HYDRA bunker she was in and rescued her. She was trained by Agent Romanoff and Barton and became a SHIELD Agent. After SHIELD fell, she joined the Avengers, and became known as the hero called Lady Liberty. She has since grown as a hero and become a valuable avenger.
Relationships: Steve Rogers (father, biological), Bucky Barnes (father, adopted), Peggy Carter (mother, biological, hates her), Natasha Romanoff (mother figure), Wanda Maximoff (big sister figure), Yelena Belova (auntie figure), Peter Parker (best friend), Lily Evans (first lover), Aiden D'Amore (second lover)
Aliases: Lady Liberty (Alias/Call Sign, SHIELD (formerly), The Avengers
Additional Notes/Facts:
Stacy grew up in a mixed culture/faith household, with Steve being Irish Catholic and Bucky being Jewish. She's not sure which she identifies with more religiously, but is happy hanging out in the middle ground.
She is obsessed with Star Wars, as is Peter. They geek out and go to cons together
She and Peter are neurodivergent superpowered besties
She calls Steve "Papa" and Bucky "Daddy" (it was the 40s, grow up). She won't let the internet ruin that for her
As much as she hates all the monetization of her papa's hero identity, she can't live without the Star Spangled Man latte they serve at Starbucks (it has lots of sugar and cream, plus a load of strawberry and blue raspberry syrup)
routinely says fuck you to the government, and can and has used malicious compliance against them before going completely feral
In the modern age, she and her dads have been arrested at protests/pride parades. the cops immediately back off once they realize who they are
Stacy is Team Waffles, as is Steve. Bucky is firmly Team Pancakes. This does cause squabbles at breakfast sometimes
She is agressively bisexual, just like her papa
Her suit starts out as the SHIELD suit, then one similar to Steve's with muted colors, then dark greens and blacks in Black Widow, then after Endgame it's variations of olive green with gold accents
Her two most notable multiverse variants are Thanos-Killer Stacy and Ultron-Apocalypse Stacy

Rise of the Brave Tangled Frozen Dragons: Avengers Family AU - Pt 1
Original Post
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Elsa & Jackson Frost
In the farthest reach of space, a vast, magical forest was coated by a large cloudy mist, to conceal the family home within the forest. After the events of New York, Loki Laufeyson had used the Tesseract to escape to the farthest edge of the universe. Now, Loki lives out his days as a father to his two children; Elsa and Jack Frost.
Rapunzel Thordottir
Throughout the Nine Realms, there’s the legend of the Sundrop. Long ago, a single drop of sunlight had landed on the grounds of Asgard, and from the sundrop, a baby girl was born. The girl was gifted with long golden hair that was indestructible and held healing abilities. After finding the young girl, Thor decide to raise Rapunzel as his own.
Merida DunBroch
The DunBrochs were a diplomatic family, consisting of Fergus, Eleanor, and their young daughter, Merida. One evening, a physically-enhanced crime-boss known as Mor’du, had broken into their home, Merida was the only survivor. When SHIELD investigated the crime scene, Agent Barton was there as well, and met the young girl. Knowing Merida needed to be hidden from Mor’du, Barton took the young girl under his wings and to someday help her find justice for her parents.
Anna Carter-Roger
All her life, Anna looked up to her great-aunt; Agent Peggy Carter, listening eagerly to her stories and dreaming of someday being a hero just like she was. On the day of Auntie Peggy’s passing, Anna had been assigned a very special mission; to watch over Steve Rogers, Aunt Peggy’s special friend.
Harold ‘Hiccup’ Lang
Growing up, Hiccup had always been different than the other kids in his neighborhood. Not everyone was over the fact that his dad was a thief, or that his sister mispronounced his name and the nickname stuck. So most days, Hiccup spent in the garage tinkering with his motorcycle and other small inventions. While his father has a suit that can shrink, Hiccup invented a suit that can make him fly.

Ugh Steve and Tony were so close to having a real moment in the last chapter of marriage and Nate chases!!! BUT NO!!!! Like if holding hands makes you people feel all warm and stupid maybe you should just do that????? Also Steve what would it hurt to have Tony look at the estate documents too? Like he probably knows more about it than you. But to get to the best part of this chapter Ana Jarvis. I love her she is so fabulous. I loved her in agent Carter and I love when you write her. Like when she told Tony he could look at Edwin I died 😂. I can’t wait to see more of her. I hope Edwin is right and that Steve and Tony are head over heels in love in a month but I feel like they may not be.
I haven't seen Agent Carter! But I just feel like the woman who helped Jarvis raise a wildly snarky Tony Stark would have to be as wildly snarky as Tony Stark is?? And I love love Tony having strong women figures in his life. Not that Jarvis isn't great but because I HC so strongly that losing his Mama was The Thing to catapult Tony right into all his destructiveness, filling that void by way of (usually) Auntie Peggy or (more recently) Auntie Ana figures is so so great.
Plus the whole "solemn, serious person with outrageous person" trope is excellent. Jarvis is just "she is the most beautiful of tornados, all of Mother Nature's beauty and all of Mother Nature's destruction, I stand in awe of her wiles and ways." and Ana is like "WE CAN BURY STEVE IN THE ROSE GARDEN AND JUST MOVE ON WITH OUR LIFE" I adore them.

I have made names for the 3(ish?) Unnamed children of Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter.
First born, AFAB, gender fluid: Magpie Rogers (Magpie is their chosen name), it was incredibly easy for Steve to call them their preferred name from the start. Their given name is close enough that Peggy remembers Magpie very easily.
Second born, male, Michael Grant Rogers. They are called Mikey to Steve and Michael to Peggy
3rd born, female, Ana Angela (yes, after Peggy's besties) will at some point go by Angel
Steve and Peggy went to the 21st century instead of staying in the 50s, I just prefer writing them that way.
Magpie got a white streak in their hair courtesy of Auntie Natasha the day they came out as gender fluid. Steve and Peggy made it very clear that they don't want their children to be avengers and want them to have slightly normal lives, so she goes to cosmetology school as a teenager and has tattoos as an adult. She still has the white stream.
Michael Grant is gay and he comes out at 14. He has a loving boyfriend and 5 guinea pigs.
Ana "Angel" is the youngest, and she's deaf. She wasn't born deaf and Uncle Clint spends a lot of time with her and Steve after her hearing goes away showing them asl and how to communicate. She's a singer as well and she never wears shoes. She had been a singer from the moment she could talk. Her family and friends all say she has an amazing voice and they eventually get her to audition for talent shows. Her best friend is her interpreter and she has an alert dog named Gaga.

The Price of Freedom:
The Rogers Twins
Spoiler Alert: Old Man Steve will eventually die in my story.
Obviously there will be a funeral and that's where the Avengers (aside from Bucky and Nick Fury), some of the A.O.S cast, and you my beloved readers are going to be introduced to Steve and Peggy's brood.
SIDENOTE:
I'm a firm believer of the Steve Rogers timeloop headcanon and will follow that as reference for this story.
Following Steve's return to the past and his subsequent (and inevitable) marriage to Peggy Carter, they eventually have two kids (in accordance to MCU canon).
Who go on to have children of their own.
One of which is [SURPRISE!] Grant Carter (who starts using his actual surname Rogers after Steve's funeral).

Day by Day (you're making all my dreams come true)
Steggy Week 2k21, day 1 Prompt: Favorite era
Summary: The first week after Steve returns.
AO3 link here. Thanks to @steggyfanevents for organizing!
Tumblr media
In the second after she wakes up, she doesn’t remember.
She stays very still, trying to gather information - the deep, even breathing, the definite weight beside her in the bed - and then the memories flow over her, welcome and relentless: opening the door that afternoon to find Steve standing there, the way he hadn't even blinked as she’d reached for her gun, although a furrow she had never seen filled itself deeply along his forehead. The long conversation, hours of it, uncomplaining and uncompromising, without food or respite, as she’d tested his knowledge of her and them and himself, as he’d explained the unbelievable everything.
The shocking relief of his arms around her when she’d finally accepted it. The way he didn’t smell the same in the obvious ways (perhaps Wildwood Cream and Ivory soap weren’t produced in the twenty-first century, and even gunpowder might be made differently or not used at all) and yet somehow it was still recognizable to her, the way you can only truly take in the scent of home after having been away for a long while.
The steady cadence of his breathing pauses.
“Peg?” he says, slightly hoarse, into the darkness.
“I’m fine. Go back to sleep.”
“You first.” She can hear the tracery of a smile in his voice.
“Stubborn.”
“Just as much as you.”
She hadn’t quite forgotten his mulish tendencies and constant retorts as much as chosen not to remember them - it hurt less when she didn’t think about the parts of him which challenged or frustrated her, the parts few others had ever gotten to see and so felt specially hers.
“Together, then,” she offers, and he makes a considering sound in his throat before he says, “Okay.”
She wonders if he is recalling all the times that they had acted together - planning and leading and fighting side by side - until that last mission which had left each of them alone. But then he rolls over toward her in the dark, and when she does actually drift off again, exhausted from a stakeout last night and revelations today and who knows what tomorrow, her last thought is that this is the first chance she’s ever had to fall asleep wrapped in Steve’s arms.
Tumblr media
She can hear him in the shower, off-key whistling echoing alongside the falling water. She ducks her head against a smile.
Although he’d seemed perfectly satisfied with hastily made toast the previous evening - many slices of it, some of them cold and forgotten on the kitchen table as they’d gotten distracted against the counter - she suddenly wants to make breakfast for him. The urge surprises her: she’s less than domestic, but he came here looking perhaps not thinner but...diminished somehow. She has the feeling that it is a sort of strain which has nothing to do with missed meals, but food does seem a good place to start.
Her refrigerator is less than fully stocked, but her eggs are only from last week, and although she doesn’t have beans or bacon or black pudding, she does have some sausages in the ice box and two end-of-season tomatoes which Mr. Jarvis had included in a recent delivery of produce from the garden he and Ana had spent the summer trying their hands at.
She is too hasty when trying to shift the first egg - delicate and not quite cooked through, it breaks, yellow oozing everywhere. She is too cautious with the second, which turns out rubbery and somewhat charred. The third looks perfect, until she tries to transfer it to the plate and finds it stuck to the pan.
“Damned, bloody, buggering hell,” she mutters, and then, when that doesn’t seem enough, she shoves away from the counter with a hearty, “Fuck!”
“I still can’t cook either.”
Steve is very quiet for such a large man. His hair sticks up with fuzzy, towel-rubbed dampness, drops of water still glistening at the tips. He is wearing his undershirt from yesterday. They'll have to go shopping for him soon; he can't stay here with nothing to wear.
“I wanted to make something nice for you,” she says, trying to force her tone logical and explanatory and perhaps even a bit joking so it comes out less weak.
He seems to pick up on it anyway, voice very soft as he says, "I don’t need some big breakfast. You're enough. Just you." He smiles a bit and adds, "And my standards are pretty low anyway considering I’ve mostly been eating microwave meals for the past few years."
"We’re destined for a future where humans have done away with food in favor of electromagnetic radiation?" she asks, raising an eyebrow. “I prefer a nice slice of pie, I must say.”
Howard would be disappointed in both of them: he doesn’t really seem to understand the principles behind the appliance, and she doesn’t really listen. Instead she thinks that if he'd left her again today, the least she could have done was make sure he was fed before he went.
Tumblr media
She’d been planning on making excuses and for once taking the day off on Monday, but the phone on her bedside table rings before the sun is up, Phillips on the other end not even bothering to ask about her weekend before he informed her that her particular expertise was needed in the office now if not five minutes ago.
"I'm sure I can find something to distract me while you're gone," Steve assures her, head tipped back against the pillows as he watches her insert a pair of pearl studs at her dressing table. He yawns a bit. (She supposes that she'd always assumed him to be an early riser, hard-working as he is, but truly she's really only known him in wartime, with reveille and rushed orders over the radio guiding his sleep patterns.)
She meets his gaze in the mirror, shaking her head. "More terrifying words, darling."
The thought of him lying beneath her duvet, shirtless and mussed with the early hour, stays with her as she drives herself to the office, but somewhere along the way it transforms. While she confirms that it isn't a protege of Dr. Fenhoff luring young people to a remote gathering place during school hours but only a particularly charismatic and mischievous local radio personality, part of her mind is wondering what Steve is doing in her absence. As they realize that there's coincidentally a code hidden in the static of the same radio station they've been examining, she is thinking to herself that something might have happened to him already. As she breaks the code, as she directs nearby agents to apprehend the escaped Nazi whose rendezvous coordinates were being transmitted (and hopefully to nab at least some of his conspirators too), as she and Phillips and Howard grimly begin putting together a taskforce to monitor and act upon any additional covert communications, as Howard talks her ear off about radio waves on their way through the lobby, as she drives herself home - she finds herself already wondering if he's gone, this time truly without even a promise or words to serve as a goodbye. She finds herself wondering if he was really ever there at all, or only something she'd conjured from her wishing.
And yet when she arrives home and walks through to the sitting room with her shoes in her hand to find him in the armchair, nose buried in her copy of The Lady in the Lake, when he looks up at her and smiles and asks about her day, it feels entirely natural to see him there. And when he says, "Welcome home, Peggy," she finds herself giving into believing him.
Tumblr media
She knows that he must be going a bit stir-crazy, cooped up in the house for the last four days, and she has no desire to make him feel as if she’s hiding him like one of Howard’s Bad Babies. Before she leaves in the morning, she arranges to meet him for lunch. Her meeting just before runs a bit long, despite the fact that she was quite evidently trying to shuffle the garrulous gentleman out of her office a quarter hour in advance, so she takes the blocks to the automat at an even more rapid clip than usual.
Steve doesn't seem to mind - she finds him leaning casually with a newspaper in hand. Their evening trip to purchase him some clothing was worthwhile; she actually stops for a moment, caught by the sight of him in his gray suit, his black-banded hat sitting on the counter. Somehow the look of him in the clothing any man on the street might wear only emphasizes how he wears them, how her gaze is drawn to him before anyone else in the room. It was the same with his dress greens. She can't believe she'd forgotten the sharpness of that desire.
She clears her throat and strides forward to greet him, the two of them chatting lightly as they seat themselves at a nearby table. It only takes a minute of conversation before Angie beelines over with her coffee pot in hand and a keen expression on her face.
"Angie, this is Steve. We...We knew each other during the war." Steve gives a very small smile at that, genuine but with something slightly sad at the edges. "Steve, this is my very dear friend, Angie."
Steve says, "Nice to meet you," and such a routine pleasantry shouldn't send a shiver down Peggy's spine only because it was spoken in his voice.
"Well, isn't that something," Angie says, eyes trained on Steve's face. The coffee she’s pouring nearly overflows into his saucer as she observes him. "Guess it's been a while for you two. I hadn't realized that Peg kept many of her friends from back in the day, but any friend of hers..."
"That’s good to hear," Steve tells her. "There were some unfor—I wasn't able to get back sooner, but now that I'm here, I'm hoping to stay for a nice, long time so I'll certainly need some friends."
"And some pie," Angie says with a grin. "You look like you could get through a slice or two, Steve. Lemme dish some up for you and I can fill you in on a thing or three about what our Peg's been up to."
She leans down, pretending to be repositioning the condiments, and whispers to Peggy, “And then after that, you can fill me in on where you’ve been hiding the dreamiest dreamboat in New York,” before swishing away.
Peggy shakes her head, unable to help her grin. It seems Steve can’t help echoing it either, even as his ears redden sweetly at the tips, where she now knows the skin is desperately soft.
Tumblr media
It is evident that if Steve is going to be here for the long term, they are going to have to both get him some form of identification, and inform the people who will see through whatever alias he ends up with about his return. Steve doesn't comment on it, but he seems to realize that she is reluctant to start with Howard or Phillips or one of the Commandos or even someone from the Barnes family, although she can't even quite explain to herself why. He's the one who suggests starting off with Mr. Jarvis, who had never met him during the war but who would know what it meant for Peggy to introduce him to Steve Rogers.
She calls the Stark residence in the early evening, inquiring after some files from Howard’s home office, knowing that the man himself will already be on his way to his engagement for the evening - or has chosen to stand the young lady up and stay late at the lab, but will be out of the way regardless. Steve, she notices, seems particularly attuned to the street noise while they wait, head coming up with every passing car. He even goes up to exchange one neatly pressed shirt for another, and is still seemingly unable to help himself from continuing to adjust the cuffs.
“Your alacrity is appreciated as always, Mr. Jarvis,” Peggy tells him when he does actually arrive and hand over the files. She tucks them under her arm and offers, “Do you have time for a cup of tea before I have to send you on your way?”
Despite her casual tone, this was where she had worried that things might go wrong - it would be too easy for Mr. Jarvis to demur, to say he had something to take care of for Howard or he’d made plans with Ana. But he accepts easily and with slightly stilted eagerness. Perhaps he too misses the time they once spent together - she doesn’t regret the chance to move up in her career, to take charge and make more of a difference in the world, to take on the responsibilities which she'd earned, but there are days when she wishes she could be back out in the field. More than that, the sidelining she had experienced during her days as an SSR agent had meant that, when most of her colleagues refused to work with her, she was forced to make her own team of those who truly believed in her; these days, despite the title on her office door or the nameplate on her desk, she finds so much of her time and energy is spent fighting through bureaucracy and doubt in her abilities, simply needing to push through with few opportunities to make clever, off-label solutions for herself. She sometimes longs for the days of solving things with Jarvis at her side, with Jarvis always on her side.
She leads him into the kitchen, where the kettle is just whistling, the teapot prepared with Earl Grey beside two sets of cups and saucers. She smiles a bit at the realization that Steve has already gained some tea-preparation experience in only the few days since he’s been here.
“I did have another reason for asking you here, besides the files,” she admits to Jarvis after they’re seated with their cups on opposite sides of her kitchen table.
Raising a dry eyebrow he says, “An ulterior motive, Miss Carter? From you?” He takes a sip. “I’m not certain I shall ever recover from the shock.”
“Well, it actually might be a bit of a shock.” She gives a light laugh, suddenly understanding Steve’s nervousness. “I was quite shocked myself when heWell, perhaps it’s best if I just introduce you.”
She stands, but Steve must have been listening on the other side of the door because the knob turns and he walks sheepishly through.
“Edwin Jarvis, I’d like you to meet Steve Rogers. Steve, Mr. Jarvis.”
“I’m really glad to meet you,” says Steve, the words more sober and emphatic than she would have expected.
Steve extends a hand, but Jarvis is still sitting at the table, teacup in the air, gaping at him. He blinks rapidly, then takes a sip of tea that he barely seems to register. Very carefully replacing the cup on its saucer, he stands, mouth still slightly agape.
“I’m not certain that simply introducing me minimized the shock,” he says blankly. “Could you start from the beginning, if you please?”
Steve and Peggy exchange glances and move to sit at the table with him. As Steve passes, Jarvis seems to come back to himself a bit. This time, he extends his hand.
“I’m pleased to meet you as well, Captain. And, as I’m certain Agent Carter has already expressed, welcome home.”
Tumblr media
Thursday is a bit of a whirlwind, between several interviews which have long been on her schedule, checking in on the task force, the regular weekly meeting, and Howard’s musings about why Jarvis couldn’t seem to look him in the eye when he was serving breakfast that morning. Still, she does manage to finish things up in a timely manner and is even able to stop by Patten’s to bring home a chicken pot pie - only to find that Steve had had the same thought, an identical pie already steaming on the table waiting for her.
“At least I didn’t sell my pocket watch to buy it,” Steve says cheerfully, leaning in to kiss her.
It’s so strange, how natural it feels to loop her arms around his neck. She doesn’t even think about it until after she’s done it. “Lucky thing, as I don’t think my hair is worth enough for a watch chain.”
“Whoever’s been saying that should come talk to me. You’re worth everything.”
For a moment she doesn’t respond. Then she leans back so she can take in his face, no longer joking. “Apparently I must be, at least to you. You came back, after all.”
“I did. How could I do anything else once I had the chance?” His gaze is perfectly level, not leaving hers, those honestly blue eyes framed by long lashes.
“I wouldn’t have blamed you, had you stayed.” She gives a short laugh. “Or, I suppose I wouldn’t have known what had happened if you had. But if you had found someone else, or something worthwhile in that time…” She almost stops herself, but the words have been waiting to come out for days, ever since she truly submitted to believing his story, and so she plunges forward. “What I mean to say is that I hope that you didn’t come back because you felt guilty for leaving me.” She swallows. “I don’t want you to be here only because you think you owe me a dance.”
He swallows too, and finally looks away. When he looks back a moment later, however, there is a familiarly determined set to his face.
“I do owe you a dance,” he says, and leads her into the sitting room, sunlit with the brightness of the early autumn evening. Her modest collection of records sits beside the phonograph, and he examines them only briefly before selecting a black and gold Columbia sleeve and placing his choice on the player. He holds out his hand as the horns of the Harry James Orchestra begin to play.
Steve isn’t much of a dancer. She knew that he wouldn’t be. But it doesn’t take very much time at all for them to fall easily into each other, doesn’t take much effort to revolve slowly in the center of the room. Her head rests comfortably on his chest, their hands clasped together and held between their bodies. She isn’t certain what sort of answer this is to her question - it doesn’t seem straightforward enough for Steve - but she leans into it anyway, leans into him, and can’t help but smile. It is all so sweet, even if it is only for now. It is more than she hoped for, either way.
He shifts away after some minutes so that she can see his smile too, so he can lean down for a kiss.
When he pulls back, the two of them still turning in careful circles, Steve says softly, “I did owe you a dance. But I came back because I don’t want it to be just the one. Peggy...The rest of my life, you’re the only one I want to dance with, and I couldn’t let that go.”
It’s terribly strange, Peggy reflects. She’d had dreams about the dance that they never got to have, wishes and nightmares and memorials in her own mind. But until this minute, she had never considered the dances after that, all the dances that they now have to come.
Tumblr media
Her timely departure yesterday comes back to haunt her, and Friday is all emergencies, such that she phones Steve an hour before she is meant to leave to tell him not to wait up. She was right to do it: by the time she gets home near midnight, she’s practically desperate to kick off her pumps, take down her hair, and crawl into bed.
She had thought at first that Steve had left a lamp on as a courtesy, but as she goes to turn it off, she finds him sitting in the armchair, head tipped back, chest rising and falling evenly. The swell in her own chest when she sees him sitting there, crowned in light as he waits for her, is love of the sort which is also danger.
Danger has never troubled her.
Bending slightly, she strokes her thumb over Steve’s shoulder. He stirs a bit, beginning to blink himself awake.
“Hey,” he says, voice just slightly rough. “I’m glad you’re back.” His smile is slow and sleep-sweet.
“I’m glad to be back.” She breathes and pulls back her tears, bending in closer to kiss him gently. “Now let’s go to bed, soldier.”
Tumblr media
When she wakes with rain dancing on the roof two hours later, she knows without thinking who is there beside her. She takes his hand and smiles and nestles back into sleep.

:D
💝
I'm so glad everyone likes my good-dad-Howard!!!!! <3

"Now, you be careful," Howard repeated for what felt like the hundredth time.
Tony sighed, loud and long, and waved his red cloak at him. "Dad, I'm just going to Aunt Peggy's."
"Just because you're wearing your aunt's cloak doesn't mean there isn't danger in the forest," Howard muttered mulishly. "Besides, it's more than just dangerous people in the forest. You could get gored by a bull elk."
"I'm not going to get gored by a bull elk," Tony said, voice flat. "Mom, tell Dad I'm not going to get gored by a bull elk."
Maria looked up from the baby blanket she was pointedly knitting 'because I suppose I'll only ever have babies to dote on from your friends, how sad I will never have grandchildren of my own, oh woe, has Pepper figured out if it's a boy or a girl yet?' "Your father got gored by a bull elk when he was a young man, Tony."
"Jesus Christ," Tony muttered, clasping the cloak around his shoulders.
Howard opened the basket that Tony was taking to Peggy while she convalesced from a broken ankle. "I'm putting a gun in here."
"For the bull elk?" Tony asked, raising an eyebrow.
Howard shrugged. "Eh."
"Dad, nothing is going to happen to me. Aunt Peggy simply wouldn't allow it," Tony sighed, rolling his eyes so hard that his entire body got into the motion.
Howard considered this, then shrugged again, conceding. Even Maria nodded in agreement as she counted her little lace stitches. "If you won't be home by dark, stay with your auntie until tomorrow morning. The creatures that roam at night--"
"Are still pants-shittingly terrified of Aunt Peggy," Tony cut in.
Maria looked up again, gaze sharp, and snarled, "Just stay at Peggy's for the night, Tony. The werewolves that protect the city have sent out a rut warning."
Tony sighed, tipping his head back in frustration, but as much as he argued with his father, he would never pull the same attitude with his mother. "Fine. But all the werewolves I've met have been complete gentlewolves, just so you know."
"Because your father was standing behind you with a gun," Maria muttered to herself. Tony didn't hear her, instead checking the gun Howard had put in the basket was loaded and the safety on before he closed it again and waved at them to begin his walk into the forest to the cottage Peggy hid out in when she was injured.
He was halfway to the cottage when he saw the werewolf off to the side of the path. It was wearing the shiny red collar that all of the werewolves protecting the city did. It had a basket with it. Clearly it was on its way somewhere, too.
"Hello," he said, even though he knew the werewolf had probably heard him coming long before Tony had seen it.
The werewolf gave him an unimpressed stare and asked, "Didn't you hear about the rut warning?"
"I don't think that just because werewolves are werewolves that they have less control of themselves than the average alpha," Tony retorted, scowling. Then he shrugged. "'sides. My dad packed me a gun in case anyone got fresh with me."
"Smart man," the werewolf said, sounding impressed.
"Worry-wort, more like," Tony muttered, scowling a little. "Anyway. I'm just on my way to my aunt's house. If anything happened to me, the attacker would be sorry anyway."
The werewolf picked up its basket in its teeth and fell into step beside him. "Who's your aunt?" he asked around the basket handle.
"Peggy Carter. She always stays out here when she's injured," Tony answered with a shrug. He held out his hand. "Do you want me to take that?"
The werewolf loped forward a few more steps before it finally stood up on its back legs, shifting into its more bipedal form. "I've got it," he said, taking the basket from his mouth. He tilted his head to give Tony some side-eye. "Why are you going to your aunt's?"
"To bring her food," Tony said. He pointed at the cottage as it came into view. "She's not able to get around well right now, so Mom and Dad told me I could pull my weight while I'm home from college and bring her her meals."
The werewolf stopped in his tracks. "...You're taking food to Peggy," he repeated.
Tony blinked up at him, confused. "Yes?"
"But I'm taking food to Peggy," the werewolf said, holding up his own basket.
Tony stared up at him, then dropped his gaze back to the basket. "Huh. That's weird. I wonder why--"
"Tony, your mother keeps haranguing me about finding suitable alphas for you," Peggy shouted out the window, because of course she was waiting for him. "I didn't know what else to do."
"Peggy I'm about to go into rut," the werewolf barked. "Why would you drag me out here in front of an omega when I'm dangerous."
"I figured he'd only be attracted to you that way," Peggy said.
The werewolf clutched a paw to his chest, offended. "I'm a catch. Just because I'm not mated doesn't mean I'm not a catch."
Tony was angry that he found that endearing. "You don't want this meat pie then," he said, hefting his basket.
"You bring me that basket or I'm telling your father he was right to worry about the bull elk," Peggy snapped.
"Bull elk," the werewolf asked, bewildered, as Tony started hustling up to the door.
"I don't wanna talk about it," Tony muttered, scowling, knowing that the werewolf would hear him.
