Some Stardew Valley redesigns/reimaginings!! these pics were about a week apart from one another so theyre in two different styles lol

some explainations below the cut!

For Context: A lot of these headcanons are based off of my own personal lived experiences! They're also just my preferences for their characters in general. I have only romanced Sebastian in-game but looked at Alex's Wiki page for context on the background for his character. I don't really know much about him canon wise, I've only read fanfics with him in it LOL ANWAY!

Sebastian: -25 yrs old + Transman + Gay/MLM -I really liked how he had a motorcycle in-game but thought that there wasn't much to say about it, so I wanted to make it apart of his core as a character! He's a sport motorcyclist as a hobby. He loves high speed racing.

-He's still a programmer, but he's now a Game designer! This is mainly because my lovely boyfriend is a game designer irl and he's like my muse and I love cramming his traits into my favorite characters.

-He plays bass istead of keyboard in Sam's band. I dunno, I think keyboard is fun and all (i actually own two keyboards and played piano in hs) but like. cmon. Bass would suit him so much better.

-I gave him a battle jacket he wears over his normal hoodie. I feel like he has a couple of these from over the years that are DIY with his ever growing music taste. Battle jackets are such a staple in the alt music scene I felt like its a crime he doesn't have one in game. Sebastian you would love battle jackets.

-His motorcycle is a sportsbike instead of a standard/chopper. His helmet also resembles a cat, but definitely not on purpose! Definitely not.

-He has a LOT of scars. Some self inflicted (but he's recovering), others from surgery! He has top surgery scars designed to resemble spider webs, a phaloplasty skin graft scar on his left arm, and gnarly huge scars on his ribs down to his legs.

-He suffered a motorcycle accident resulting in his bike being damaged as well as giving him a limp. He's constantly fixing up his bike since then, wanting to ensure another wipe out won't happen again and that his bike is reall okay to ride again.

-HIS PIERCINNGNSSSSS he has a shit ton of piercings! Not shown, he has a Jacob's ladder piercing. :3c

-His personality doesn't really change much from in-game. I'd personally prefer if he was less bitchy and more just a rarely speaking type. The kind to keep his comments to himself. Bitching about your step sibling and your step dad gets stale, bro

Alex: (Sorry to any alex fans, I changed him a LOT)

-27 + Cismale + Closeted Bisexual

-An ex-pro hockey player (goalie). I don't really care for "gridball" since it's just a couple of sports mixed together (from my understanding) so I decided to just give him a real world sport to play. Plus, hockey just kind of suits him for some reason?? I dunno

-Moved back to Pelican town after the news of his Mother's condition worsening and his Father jumping ship. In my version, he got recruited straight out of highschool to go pro for hockey. He had reservations about leaving his Mother with his Dad, but decided it was the best solution to the shitty situation. This way, he'd have more money to help her medical costs since his Dad's insurance was shitty anyway. A few years go by with constant health updates from his Grandparents, when one day his Dad just calls it quits on caregiving, deciding he doesn't want to waste his life away caring for his wife, and leaves. Without physical support from his Father to help around the house and help his Mother, Alex makes the choice to move back home and become his Mother's caregiver. He struggles with the emotional weight of this job ontop of how extremely demanding it is, but does his best for his Mother. She dies, and now he's taking care of his Grandparents. -I really wanted him to be a caregiver to his grandparents because my family were caregivers to both my Mother and my Father's parents LOL we spent all 23 years of my life taking care of them, so i thought it would be fun to think about. I imagine Evelyn and George to be my grandparents and constantly give them their favorite gifts in-game. (mainly george. i love him) (hes not homophobic hes just OLD and STUPID i LOVE HIM !!!!!!)

-Alex is constantly worried he won't be the same after caregiving for this long. He's worried he won't be able to go back to pro-hockey without reliving the stress of his mother's death. He's been having trouble keeping asleep at night, often waking up every few hours and being completely restless. He'll decompress at the sauna at unbearable hours of the night just because he can't sleep.

-He's the town helper! I thought it would be cute if he's the guy the town usually went to if they needed serious physical help with something, like setting up festival decorations, fixing fenceposts, shit like that. He loves helping out the town and INSISTS sometimes to be the one to fix a problem. When the farmer first comes into town and starts being the more dependable one, he starts feeling hopeless and easily emotionally distant. It's hard being the one everyone depended on to suddenly not being needed anymore. (It's not all entirely in his head, but he gets really worked up sometimes about feeling useless)

-Still an arrogant little shit! Instead of dreams of stardom, it's kind of a "washed up" celebrity kind of arrogance. He thinks he's hot shit because he travelled the world playing games for a couple of years. This backfires in his face, he'll sometimes sit for too long on his "glory days" and spiral, getting depressed about not playing anymore and his role as a caregiver despite loving his grandparents immensely.

-This headcanon is just silly but i think he likes to fish. He's so arrogant that he thinks hes amazing at it but fish rarely bite his line and when they do, they drag him into the river or sand at the beach. It's even more embarrassing because he thinks he's fine and continues to fish despite having sand and dirt all over himself.

-He's covered in moles! I also gave him freckles in places where his skin sees the most sun. (He's also got chest hair bc yall know i love hair on a man LMAO)

anyway. Long post! My bad. I was thinking of writing some Stardew Valley fanfics while working on some other stuff bc I want to explore my versions of Alex and Seb, and also maybe they explore each others bodies???? Let me know if that's something you'd guys like to read/offer up suggestions!!!

Sorry I’m sort of late to the wedding impossible discussion, but some of your posts inspired me to watch it. I just finished episode 3 where it ends with jihan telling ahjeong he’s going to steal her away and….am I supposed to like jihan? Because I don’t, at all. He thinks dohan and ahjeong are in a real relationship right now doesn’t he? He thinks they’re actually getting married bc they want to? Did I miss something where he knows it’s fake? Am I supposed to root for him to destroy his brother’s relationship and life so that dohan can inherit a company and jihan can profit? I recognize I’m early into the show but how are people calling dohan selfish when every single thing jihan has done for the past 3 episodes has been for his own gain? The only redeeming thing he’s done is recognize he was wrong for getting ahjeong that role, but then he kind of messed that up for me by being violent to that worker on the drama. Because sure that guy was an asshole but so are you jihan!!! I don’t think that makes it ok or attractive (it felt like the show wanted me to find it attractive) for jihan to be physically aggressive. At this point I dislike jihan more than i even dislike the older siblings who are clearly supposed to be the villains lol.

I have no idea, anon. None. Don't ask me, I'm part of the Do Han defense squad who's barely watching the het parts of this show frankly.

Ji Han definitely feels like a selfish asshole for the vast majority of the show and, yes, he has some trauma that explains some of his actions but dear lord is he an asshole to Do Han.

From pressuring him to get married and take over the company which Do Han obviously doesn't want and is clear that he doesn't want to trying to seduce the woman he thinks his brother loves to just generally harassing Ah Jeong every chance he gets.

But he's the male lead, so a lot of people are going to just decide that he's Right. No matter what. Apparently.

Or they just assume that being in the closet automatically makes Do Han selfish because that's lying and we can't lie! Nope! No lying here! If you lie to protect yourself, that makes you selfish. /s

Yeah, I hate that.

Do Han was protecting himself and we get to see that he has a reason to do so when his grandfather literally stops him from coming out! There was a reason Do Han stayed in the closet and ran to New York. I still don't understand why his grandfather wants him to inherit the business. He's a gay artist who's been aboard being a gay artist for five years!!! Why should he be any good at business?!

(I saw someone complain that Do Han never let Ji Han visit him in New York and it's like... no fucking duh? Man was living his best gay life out there, he was no about to invite the little brother he was in the closet to into that life both to protect himself and not to force Ji Han to carry his secret as well.)

But, yeah, Ji Han's an ass. And the show tries to redeem him but not for what he did to Do Han until much, much too late for me. And Do Han deserves better.

As a young woman Grandma used to hang around a lot of gay bars and had several relationships before meeting her husband. Right now grandma isn't focused on finding any relationships as she's more occupied by her role in IR.

Penny isn't sure of her orientation, she's quite private about personal things like dating so she's working it out by herself.

🔓 Parker - He/Him - Straight Ally

Parker has never had any doubt about his sexuality, he has however worked with a lot of queer individuals during his "misspent youth" where he learnt all sorts of things about different identities.

"i think you guys will get along just fine." master said, his voice light and chipper. "johanna is a very nice woman, and rainey is a very sweet kitty. i think you'll love them."

nana listened silently as she trotted down the hall alongside master. they were on their way to her first playdate, with master's neighbor's pet. she was a little nervous, she had to admit. she'd never really interacted with other pets before, besides maybe her siblings back when she was a puppy. but that was so long ago, she didn't really remember it at all. so, for all intents and purposes, this was a completely new experience for her.

but, master seemed so sure that it would be good for her. that she'd do well with a friend. and she wanted to believe him.

the woman who answered the door was tall and lithe, almost as tall as master. she was johanna, according to master's introduction. she smiled at nana and knelt down to scratch behind her ears, so nana decided she liked her already.

"rainey is probably off in a corner somewhere." johanna said, with an apologetic smile. "she's a little shy. feel free to go look for her!"

so, look for her she did.

johanna's apartment was about the same size as master's, so there wasn't too much ground for her to cover. she was sniffing around the hallway when she saw it - a pair of eyes staring at her from the darkness inside the hallway closet.

she simply stared back for a few moments, unsure of what to do. then, she nudged the door open a bit more, letting a bit more light into the tiny space.

rainey - or at least nana assumed this was rainey - was a lot smaller than she expected. small enough to be curled up in the hallway closet and not look cramped. nana was almost envious, until she remembered that wedging herself into small, obscure spaces wasn't something she tended to do anymore.

but beyond her general size, there was a lot about rainey that made nana stop and pause. her wavy, chestnut brown hair and cute feline ears, her long, swishing tail, her pretty gold eyes staring back at nana with a mix of apprehension and curiosity. she felt like an idiot, just sitting and staring like that, but she just couldn't help herself.

rainey didn't move, simply continuing to stare silently. so, nana did the only thing she could think of - flopped onto her side and exposed her belly. a gesture of trust.

rainey blinked at her. then slowly, cautiously, slinked out of the closet. she sniffed at nana's hair and face, then sat back on her haunches, seemingly satisfied. her body language was much less tense, at least.

nana rolled back onto her hands and knees, tail wagging happily. she... didn't quite know what to do next, so she assumed she'd just let rainey take the lead.

and that seemed to work out for her. rainey took a few steps down the hall, then glanced back at nana, as if asking her to follow, which she eagerly did.

rainey led her into the apartment's laundry room. the washing and drying machines were stacked in one corner, while the rest of the room was clearly rainey's space. there was a soft and somewhat worn pet bed near the center of the room - right in the path of the beam of sunlight coming from the window high up on the wall. a mat with a water bowl was up against the far wall, along with a scratching post and a basket of toys.

nana looked around the room appreciatively. she glanced into the toy basket, finding small plush mice, feather toys, a rubber ball with a bell inside, and a ball of red yarn. she suddenly had an idea.

as careful as she could, she leaned down and gripped the handle of the feather toy between her teeth, and turned back towards rainey. the catgirl looked at her curiously.

nana shook the toy, making the little bells attached to it jingle, and rainey leapt into action, pupils dilating as she excitedly batted at the ball of feathers. she was so enthusiastic, in fact, that nana was having a bit of a hard time keeping up.

she was able to keep the toy out of rainey's reach for a little while, but she just wasn't as limber or spry as a cat, on top of her impaired eyesight, she just couldn't see or react in time to rainey jumping at the toy from her left. the two collided, sprawling out on the ground.

nana let go of the feather toy, panting, but oddly happy. rainey padded over to her and nudged against her face until she got back up, then ambled over to her bed and curled up near the front, with plenty of space behind her. she looked at nana expectantly.

nana felt like her brain short circuited for a moment. she, a bit hesitantly, walked over and settled in behind rainey. she felt sort of tense, unsure of herself again, but rainey was pressed against her and purring like a freight train, nuzzling against her neck and chin, and eventually she felt herself starting to relax.

she never really fully fell asleep, but she did doze off for a while. it was a hard not to, tired from playing and with a comfortingly warm body in her arms.

"...probably in here." she was roused back to semiconsciousness some time later by the sound of voices speaking. she heard the door open, and blearily cracked her single eye open seeing master and johanna in the doorway, peeking in at them.

"well... they're getting along just fine." master laughed softly.

Neurodivergent, Intersex ADHD Queer Black Pakistani-American kid from Brooklyn when he moved to Jasper Nevada at five, socially ostracized. bi as FUCK and not even subtle about it. dead father at seven lost due to illness and is being raised by his single mother June has a little drone friend named Emily for max gay adventurer scientist chaos energy. Huge fan of a show called Celestial Odyssey, side passion for music and gaming (bonds with Raf over it). Gains way too many parental figures over the course of the series. Hacked into the Pentagon at ten years old on a dare.

Miko Nakadai: 16 yrs. Heir apparent to Nakadai Industries. Short petite Japanese-American jock girl with slightly toned muscles that can actually send you to the gulag if you fought her. Was in multiple sports clubs and took Shaolin classes. Youngest daughter of a rich family of three other siblings and a lot of extended family back in Japan with a controlling immigrant businessman father, mood disorder af while dealing with the aftermath of generational trauma and a dysfunctional family. Has two older siblings that are both twins, older sister is Himeko and older brother is Sora. Himeko and Sora are both 18. Is the champion of multiple street brawls. Has gotten into many street-fights and fights at school. Secretly a nerd too, so it makes sense that she'd fall for the nerd.

Rafael Esquivel: 12 yrs. White, Italian-Cuban American, from a huge family. Basically near-blind without his glasses. Skipped a couple of grades due to his talents in IT and hacking, and regrets it immensely now due to the burnt-out gifted kid spiral that he's going through. goes to the same high school as Jackson and Miko, and nobody takes him or his decisions seriously since he's younger than the rest. being the youngest is hard honestly-

June Darby: 37 yrs. African American woman, passed down her broader and curvier physique to her intersex son (of whom's also genderqueer and bi as FUCK omg). M-spec, male-leaning. Learns about the Autobots later on and about the work her son does and the wonderful family and life he's building for himself, and instantly allies herself with them the moment she does. Quit her big-shot engineer job and became a mechanic just to be able to be home take care of her son. automatically adopts everyone else. best friends with Optimus Prime and Fowler naturally. she'd give the sun and moon and stars and universe and galaxies and planets and nebulas and black holes and MORE for her babies and our blood and all of us LIVE to see it. Closeted nerd and neurodivergent as well. (oh and btw Mama Darby once called Team Prime a more affectionate/familial nickname in French and the familial love +2 modifier was too much for them once their processors translated it and they understood what it and the connotations meant. Bumblebee was trying so hard not to break out into tears while Arcee was struggling to hold back a smile)

William Fowler: 35-37 yrs. Black American. Grew up in Detroit. Knew Jackson's father from his time in the army- they were both best friends. FBI agent and government personnel. Stern and no-nonsense authority figure at first, strict yet disciplined, takes it upon himself to be one of many Jackson's 'older sibling' figures that he gains. he and the kids both fight a lot but they are literally a package deal so do not separate anyways. HUGE cat-person, bonds with Miko over it. Actually really likes Emily because the drone behaves like an affectionate and excited puppy who's just happy to be there. He and June work together from the time she finds out the 'truth' to co-parent her son and his friends and to support them and the Autobots in all of their missions.

can u pls talk some more about ryan kopel’s davey i am Begging (thank u for all the posts about uksies it is keeping me sane)

um. i wrote a lot.

"For me I think he's just gotten weirder and weirder as time goes on um, just, yeah, all his quirks and everything have started to come out much more than they were in December. Hopefully he will just continue to get even stranger" -Ryan Kopel about how Davey has changed as time goes on (from Wednesday's Q&A)

Thought that quote was fitting to start off with. Like I said, I saw the show in March so I definitely got a "weirder" version of Davey than I might have if I'd gone in December. I've listened to audio boots from pre-March and I can tell just from his line delivery how much his character has changed and it's incredible. (I would like to say I am interpreting "weird" as autistic because I say so). He is constantly stimming and his acting is so physical he's always bouncing around, limbs flailing about in such a cartoony way it's amazing. Rocks back and forth on his feet a lot, hugs papers, fiddles with strap of paper bag, taps thumbs together and wipes hands on front of his pants regularly. He also has a habit of clasping his hands together in front or behind him and it makes him look really sweet.

Even his growth from act 1 to act 2 is so fun to watch. When he first meets the newsies they ALL seem skeptical of him, Crutchie gives him BOMBASTIC side eye and Race is very snarky with him. You can see him get more comfortable with them, but there's still a bit of that hesitance which is so interesting to watch. He also gets much more comfortable around Jack which comes across in Watch What Happens (Reprise) and Jack's betrayal scene.

He also is very good at making Davey gay in a 1800s closeted young queer boy sort of way. Javey is strong in this production (if you hadn't figured that out from the numerous backstage pictures). Lot's of the lines he delivers towards Jack are very much Boy-Who-Is-In-Love-But-Very-Bad-At-Hiding-It. He gets SUPER embarrassed about Les looking at the bowery beauties and when he sees Jack's backdrop he very eagerly jumps forward and says "Thats!!- I mean. Uh. that's... really good."

Les and Davey's sibling bond is also so sweet, it's just as strong with every Les (I saw 3/4 of the original Les's). He's always got a hand on his shoulder or his arms wrapped around Les from the back. 99% of the show is Davey looking at Les with absolute astonishment at what he's doing "Buy a pape from a poor orphan boy?" "Oh- no he's not an orphan!" *cue Jack pulling Davey away*

Speaking of which. When Davey's trying to hawk his paper it's to the audience and the last thing he says before Jack cuts in is "Paper? anyone? Not for you"

There are so many good moments in act 2 good lord. I love Watch What Happens (reprise) because Ryan's version isn't so much that David is trying to convince Jack of anything, but rather that Davey already knows he's won the argument and he's being so cocky about it. ALSO THE WAY HE DELIVERS "we are INEVITABLE" is amazing.

I have so many thoughts about the stike rally. First of all when Davey goes up while everyone's chanting for Jack his reaction to the crowd is very much "Oh my god there are so many people here what do I do" rather than Ben Fankhauser's take of a more confident Davey. Multiple times Davey goes over to Medda like a proud little kid showing their mom what they did. When Jack enters (and starts suggesting they disband the union) Davey asks Medda if she knows what's going on and she looks so confused and heart broken by Jack's actions she just shakes her head at Davey. While everyone is yelling at Jack Davey tries multiple to get him to stop by stepping forward and touching his arm or shoulder and even saying "Jack, stop, please Jack stop?" and he actually tries so hard to be understanding. Of course all hell breaks loose and Jack ends up pushing Les to the ground which is what finally breaks Davey he says "What are you doing Jack?" and gestures to Les on the ground before helping him up and running off stage.

Before they print the Newsie Banner Katherine hands her notebook to Davey and he reads it over and writes something in her notebook before handing it back so they can print it.

"People like Joe don't talk to nobodies like us" Davey and Jack both smile sweetly and lean their heads together

Random Phantom Manor Headcanons

(because I changed some and never really shared my headcanons for almost everyone and I'lI start with the main characters for now)

Henry:

Has ADHD and POTS, basically meaning he faints a lot to simplify it,

Sexuality is: bisexual (prefers men over women almost all the time) this isn't official, might still keep him gay, just maybe a closeted one.

I'm not sure how I want to do their main relationship but I'm think of him and Jasper secretly dating (although not so secret sometimes

Is 7 ft tall and is the tallest in the whole household

He did not build his house however to accommodate for his height:P

Him and Martha have their moments where they get along (rarely)

Bestest friend is Anna and Jasper and also now Hattie Still trying to learn this modern world and its technology

So for voice actor I wanted someone with a deep voice and honestly, his voice actor for me is Markipklier, he voices just suits how I hear Henry, and personality too sometimes, with the ADHD

Arachnophobia as well (like really really bad fear of spiders)

Did learn how to drive a car but doesn't often, since everything in town is within walking distance.

Did have an affair with Anna, now has an affair with Jasper

Out of all 63 canon characters that we actually get to know a bit about, I headcanon 55 of them are LGBTQIA+. Why? One, why not, two, they told me themselves, and three... this is legitimately a franchise about theatre kids, of course majority are gonna be fruity.

alkfdjalkfjdsf okay okay so!!! In S1 he was very much playing a role. He was the Bad Guy. Except that was to mask his real mission. He was there to save Katherine. Tormenting Stefan and causing trouble in Mystic falls are also goals, but secondary to the first, more amusements than anything. He also probably spent literal decades planning out exactly how everything was going to go. Some of his decisions were absolutely for the Drama. Like. Taking a Founding Family Daughter to a Ball in the Lockwood Manor to Retrieve the Amulet-Key??? Dramaaaa. He didn't need to do that. (I mean part of it was def Bothering Stefan, but he really could have just gotten an invitation into the house discreetly at any point prior. There was time between the comet 'charging' Emily's Amulet and the night of the party.) It really just strikes me as 'This is The Plan.' one he's spent who knows how long thinking of. So he has a Role to Play. That role is romantic hero/vengeful lover. He's very set on that, plus I imagine he wanted to present himself as similar, but not quite the same as the man Katherine has once known. Being in Mystic Falls, he's deliberately portraying a version of himself.

This being a very rambling way to say that after he realizes his entire life was based off a lie, Damon goes back to--like yeah sure I'm generally guy-shaped--(insert someone repeating 'generally?' with confusion here)--but who cares about that??? This vampire has spent decades hanging out in every dive bar imaginable and a lot of them had been drag clubs and gay bars and sex clubs and every shade of what society demanded be kept away from the rest of them. Gender isn't even like. some unimportant human concept to him, it's also one humans Made Up that doesn't apply to Other Humans and some of them just enforce the idea of it. It starts off small, in the 'when did you paint your nails?' sense, then he just starts going, yeah this IS a woman's top, but I'm rocking it and I Can Kill You, i think that's more important than how good I look in this sweater. Boots with more of a heel to them, occasional makeup, just whatever he feels like at the time. Sometimes he keeps his original body but wears a skirt, sometimes it's ambiguously androgynous in the 'excuse me, ma'am--sir? sorry, uh, here's your coffee.' And sometimes it's oh those are very much breasts, but that is a men's shirt and his face has stubble. Very nice clothes, like he had tailored shirts in canon, it's the same here. Though, I do like to imagine that the Originals don't even blink at this and just take it in stride before going back to their Murder Plots. Elijah is particularly gentlemanly, and does all those automatic 'holding out his arm' or 'holding the door, or a jacket' gestures with no reserve.

At some point Damon replaces all the (he usually goes by he because he doesn't especially equate pronouns with gender and does switch it up occasionally but sticks with he/him and his original name bc that's what he introduced himself as and bc Stefan would Make It a Thing--more about Damon throwing away every connection to his human life than him being a jackass, i think, but) but he replaces the pictures of the original Salvatore Siblings in the town archives and basically invents a sister solely for the purposes of gaslighting people into thinking he's the Original Damon Salvatore's Vampire Twin Sister Who Assumed Her Brother's Identity. Elena has to actually ask Stefan if he has a sister, which he denies, except it was a confusing conversation which left her unsure if they actually had a sister at some point or not and Damon somehow convinces her that Stefan doesn't know the actual truth and that he's his own twin. (He was very bored between the post-Tomb Opening binge drinking and depressed episodes.)

i imagine if he wanted to keep up the Masquerade, but walk around town in a different form, he has an ID and backstory all set for a distant cousin on his mother's side. Her name is Desdemona, yeah they do look a lot alike, they both take after their mother's family. Stefan, stuck escorting his 'cousin' around town: please stop inventing Family Drama to talk about, you literally killed off any real family we have.

Gradually practicing until he can hold a full shift for as long as he wants and just disappears for a week to be a bird bc god knows the murders hanging around town are more fun than the people. Blood red lipstick and winged eyeliner and feathers nearly blending in with black hair. Eyes a touch too wide or irises oddly sized, dark blue nearly corner to corner. Spends a month breaking limbs oddly often bc he fucked up his bones and now theyre hollow even when he’s human-shaped. Maybe in this verse vampires are a bit wilder, a bit more connected to dark powers, and Damon especially so. Some others get stuck or can only partially adopt animal form, giving them a bestial appearance—and play their part in the myth of vampirism, the origin of some of the world’s stories.

Stefan can’t shift, doesn’t really have that talent and has none on animal blood, but when he isn’t maybe he can float a bit. Some murderous parody of Peter Pan—forever young and forever luring people away never to be seen again. (He could fly in the books, once he’s had more than animal blood. So could Damon.)

following graduation, abril decided to pursue a graduate degree in psychology in a valparaíso. abril is determined to seize the opportunity for the new beginning she craved. however, years of maturing at an accelerated rate have set her up to make some reckless choices as a young adult with newfound freedom.

I was wondering about something and I really would like your input, Dani.

You know how writers like to play with a lot of different ships, and some are really liked already like Clizzy and Jimon and Saphael. And fair, people can write what they like and feel more comfortable with.

But the thing is, in a lot of stories with those ships and Malec, Alec is still the one who suffers for being gay, even when his siblings are already out. He is either in the closet still or is the one who solely takes all the figurative punches from Maryse and Robert for his sexuality. It's like... Alec is the only one not allowed to be anything but straight. Do you think it's because of the first kid dilemma? The one to carry all the responsibilities and family legacy?

Furthermore, if his siblings were really not straight, even in canon, do you think he would be more acceptable of himself or it wouldn't matter and he would continue to be the grumpy boy too afraid of anything until one Magnus Bane?

Interesting question.

I think the first one is very much a writing choice. If it's a malec centric fic, then giving Alec more obstacles makes more sense. It could be for any of the reasons you mentioned. I do think things such as family dynamics and birth order play a role. For example, my mom lets me do things she never would've allowed my older sister (first born) to do because by the time I became a teenager, she was more exposed to things and her parenting style with me is different too. I also think Alec (to a certain extent) would have been passive to his parent's expectations/conditions, whereas I can see Izzy (not Jace though) fighting back against her parents if they tried to control her.

If Jace and Izzy were not straight....hm, I think it would've helped but not much. I think it would've made him come to them - because he knew they'd understand. He would've been open to having casual relationships and experimenting and all of that.

But Alec's position in the family and Clave are very different from that of Izzy and Jace, so I think those things still would've prevented him from coming out/accepting himself.

I personally don't believe that Alec would've been in the closet forever if it wasn't for Magnus because it reduces Alec's strength and fearlessness to Magnus and their relationship.

Alec came out because of Magnus. But he didn't come out for him. He did that for himself :)

Kazue here is a sweetheart and that is an universal truth. While Sarada is more like Sasuke in most aspects of her personality, Kazue is gentler and just generally more compassionate, really. But that doesn't mean he is naive!

Takes missions almost too seriously. This guy is always prepared, from packing extra kunai and shuriken to ration bars for good measure just in case they get trapped somewhere.

100% a daddy's boy. If one person has Sasuke wrapped around their pinky finger, it's probably Kazue. There hasn't been a single time Kazue had been cross with him and even when he was a toddler, he would waddle around chasing his dad like a lil penguin. Sasuke is his hero.

Pink haired Uchiha here. His eyes are coal black, though.

Sarada and Kazue never really argue but to say they are best buddies would be an overstatement. They might be twins but each have their own lives and entirely different hobbies.

But if anyone hurts Sarada, Kazue wouldn't hesitate to seek revenge and see through the matter till the end.

Kazue, however gentlemanly he can be, is a master manipulator. There aren't many things that can successfully evade his attention and very few people who can get past his ever-scrutinizing gaze.

Gained his Sharingan at age six. He was getting picked on for not having a 'normal' family and having tainted blood and whatnot, and he just snapped. Safe to say the bullies ended up with a lot more than a few scratches.
