My headcanon is that once Shoto gets comfortable with Rei, he is immediately as sassy and dramatic as he is with Enji and Fuyumi. Rebel without a cause.
Rei: You broke curfew again!
Shoto: Oh I’m sorry, I couldn’t see the time on account of my eye being burnt in a childhood accident.
Fuyumi: SHOTO
Rei: Where did he even get soba at this time of night???
-
You expect me to believe this child knows how to respect a parent??? Even his mother? He sassed the police chief.
Even Aizawa is like look at this fucking kid and his chronic rule breaking. He has no respect for authority.

Enji who has since moved out: I feel so much lighter, so much less stressed. A weight has been lifted. But why?

AU where L and Light go to To-Oh together before the Death Note is dropped. (Whether Light is Kira is up to you, I think it'd be cool either way)
While L and the cops are investigating Kira, Light and L have began a relationship. Now, Soichiro (lights dad, if your memory is as bad as mine) is working with L, but has also literally seen him in the house.
Sufficed to say, he's shocked when he meets L and it's his son's college friend. Even more so when Light calls L nearing the end of a meeting and hears them talk more than platonically.
Here's some little excerpts my mind made up. I've watched the show only once, so I'm sorry if/that it's ooc
"Hello. I am here to see Light."
"Light! There's a weird guy at the door!" Sayu called. She glanced at him. "No offense."
"None taken," L dismissed.
Light ran down the stairs, smiling at the sight of L in the door.
"Hey! I picked up some cake, and we can go play that game I talked about."
"I figured as much, since that's why I'm here," L said. Light rolled his eyes fondly.
They walked into the kitchen, where his father was getting water.
"Oh, you must be Soichiro Yagami. Police chief, solved over 30 cases."
"Wow, Light. I had no idea you talked about me all that much."
"He doesn't."
Upon setting their sights on L, Soichiro's mind went blank. He would've never guessed. What were the chances. While everyone else was making their judgments on L and his appearance, Soichiro was trying to combine Ryuzaki with L in his mind.
He ignored it. It'd be safer for both of them if they didn't bring their personal lives into this. He took out his ID and introduced himself as if it were the first time.
"If I were Kira you would be dead Soichiro Yagami."
Combining these two people wouldn't be so difficult. He knew Ryuzaki reminded him of someone.
As they went on, he remembered small details. Light running downstairs because he and Ryuzaki had left their phones there. Ryuzaki also had an infatuation for sugar, and even when his wife made pretty universally loved tea, he'd still add stacks of sugar cubes.
Then there was...
"And from now on, I'll have to ask that you stop calling me 'L.' It's..." L glanced at Soichiro. "Ryuzaki now. Just to be safe."
How cautious was L to give a fake name to L before Kira was even a factor? And if Soichiro didn't know him, would he have used a different alias?
"Excuse me," L said, pulling his phone oddly from his pocket. "Your timing is perfect, I'm nearly done with my meeting. I'll be over shortly."
"I assume you have more puzzles to test me with?"
"Of course I do." Whoever was on the other side laughed softly. A small smile cracked L's face.
"I look forward to it, Ryu."
"So do I."
"See you soon."
L hesitated, but hung up without saying much more like usual.
"My apologies, I try not to keep him waiting."
"Was that Watari?" Matsuda asked.
"No, my boyfriend." He said it so casually, though it shocked everyone.
"You... what?" Aizawa asked.
"He's the only person I've ever met on my level. If it didn't put him in significant danger, I would've brought him in to help." He pushed his lip with his thumb. "Though that's not the only reason," he added in a mumble. He looked as ashamed as L could look.
"How long have you, uh..." Poor Matsuda was thrown extremely off guard.
"I've been queer my whole life if that's what you're asking. Though, I'm sure you're not. I've known him for a few months. He's very attractive." He pulled his hand away from his smile. "I'd tell you his name, but I don't feel comfortable doing so."
Soichiro feared he already knew who it was. Light didn't need to be put in more danger than he already was being his son. He didn't know how to feel about this.
"You'd place surveillance camera's on your own boyfriend?" Soichiro asked. He wouldn't mind placing them on Light, but L always had a certain level of respect for him.
"Of course. I've suspected he was L since before we started a romantic relationship."
This was a shock to everyone. Not only L dating Light, but L potentially dating Kira and knowing it.
"Why?"
"Light is my intellectual equal. Unfortunately that makes it more likely that he's Kira. And the fact that he made the first move only increases that likelihood, though he doesn't know I'm L. If he did, I'd be more sure."
"How sure are you?"
"About 5%. If he knew I was L before he kissed me, it'd be 7 or 8%. Getting close with the enemy is a good way of staying in their good graces and not getting caught, but I'm not going to excuse Light as a suspect just because he makes me happy. That would be ridiculous. And being his boyfriend makes it so I can monitor him outside the house without raising suspicion."
"I might be out of line, but that sounds messed up. Spying on your boyfriend?"
"Well, I don't have to. I can monitor elsewhere while they're at home. I will still be attending my outings with Light and I can't help but monitor him in those moments, though I can assure you we're usually focused on each other; I'm not sure he'd have a moment to kill with me there."
"And Light doesn't know you're L?" Aizawa asked. "Couldn't it be helpful for him to be brought on the case? He's helped on cases before."
"If Light isn't Kira, I don't want him in any danger. I'm sure Soichiro understands my dilemma." His voice was tense as were his hands.
"I do," Soichiro admitted. "I'm find putting cameras around the house. If there's any chance, we may as well check."
"Exactly."

Heyyy! I love your writing btw , it’s so cool <3 may i ask a hawks and aizawa headcanons about a quirkless s/o but is someone who’s working hard to make a name for themselves despite its difficulty,, (i was thinking of a more detective-like s/o but you can do another occupation if you want!)
a/n: LETS GO WITH DETECTIVE S/O
Hawks and Aizawa having a detective s/o.
Hawks:
Tumblr media
He’s a proud boyfriend, supports you along the way and encourages you to keep going if you start falling behind and thinking on quitting. He can’t understand what you’re going through about being quirkless, but he will be your support. Usually whenever he’s on patrol and he sees you and other detectives on a crime scene he’ll watch from afar, you’ve told him that some detectives have deemed you “fragile” since you’re quirkless, but that doesn’t stop you from going head on into a crime scene.
Calls you his little detective, “how’s my little detective doing? Catch any criminals yet? “Hey detective I’ll be late today, don’t stay up too late.” Even at some point calling you Sherlock Holmes when you decoded a message “hey look at my little detective! Becoming Sherlock Holmes hm?” He’s proud of you though, you obviously have a talent of being able to decode things easily he wonders if you’d be able to decode things he found at the LOV..
He has to remind you to take breaks though, he applauds you for working hard; but please make sure to take breaks. Even at some points he has to drag you away from your desk to come cuddle with him, he has to be the way to lay down on your chest so you don’t go back to studying/working. “Keigo! I need to-“ “what you need detective is to cuddle with me, please?” He says fluttering his eyes at you. Damn it
Aizawa:
Tumblr media
Supportive as fuck, he knows people without quirks are seen lower or fragile or needed to be protected. You proved that wrong though and he loves seeing how passionate you are about being a detective and making a name for yourself, you held your head high and fuck does it remind him why he fell in love with you. Often during his break he’ll send you a text on how you’re doing, sometimes you’ll be able to reply and sometimes not; but he understands your busy at the station.
REMINDS YOU TO SLEEP, he’s happy that he can see you working hard, but please for him take a break. He gets worried when he sees you still up at 3am working on a paper, or studying a picture trying to get a clue or a reference from your notes. Just like Hawks he’ll pick you up around your waist and drag you to bed, “Aizawa! What are you doing I was studying..” he pulls you against his chest mumbling into your hair “cuddle with me before I have to deal with children.” You laugh at his statement.
If you graduate from detective to chief Inspector he will literally be there for it, he’ll ask another u.a teacher to cover his class while he goes to your ceremony. If you start crying HE MIGHT start crying too, he knows you worked hard to get where you are now.

Hello. I have an idea for L x reader. They are making out and stuff and some of the task force walk on them. But it is completely fine if you dont want to write it. So no pressure :) Have a nice day.
I'm more than happy to write this!
Tumblr media
Warnings: MDNI, Almost nsfw makeout session
L was supposed to be paying attention to be taking notes about his current findings on the Kira investigation..and then you walked in. And what a distraction you were. He couldn't tell how long it had been, all he knew was that you two had been lip locked for a good while now.
He can't really remember how you even ended up in his lap. He couldn't help but dig his fingers into your waist and pull you into the kiss even more. You find yourself grinding along his lap, provoking a light whine from your lover. Your breath was like a warm fire amongst his lips, saliva gluing you together. Your kisses were loud, producing wet sounds in the air.
L removed his hands from your waist and slipped them underneath your shirt, holding your hips. You rive against him and fumble with his hair. His hands guide further up your body and then--
The door opened.
Before you stood Chief Yagami, Matsuda, Aizawa, and of course, Light. Each one of them painted an individual look on their face. Chief Yagami and Matsuda looked as if they couldn't believe what they saw, Aizawa just looking straight up disappointed, while Light was chuckling under his breath.
You jump off L's lap quicker than lightspeed. All you could do was simply stand there embarrassed.
"Did Watari say you could come in?" L asks.
"Uhh..yes. He said you would be in this room..uh..were we interrupting something?" Chief Yagami asks sheepishly.
"No, come on in. Have you found anything new about the investigation?"
So he was just going to act like nothing happened.
"Yes, actually," Light intervenes. "Kira seems to be altering his regular killing routine..but I'll admit, Ryuuzaki, I never took you for someone who was sensual."
"Yes, well, there are many things I have learned to do. May I ask why you're so intruiged?"
"Oh, it's nothing personal," Light defuses. "Wow, (your fake name), Ryuuzaki sure is fond of you, isn't he?"
You feel your face getting hot at the invasive question. You have to question his motives. An innocent question could be intel for someone like him.
"Ryuuzaki, shouldn't you let us when it's not appropriate to be arriving? "Chief Yagami remarks.
"Good point. I suppose I lost focus of the time." Despite L's collected appearance, he was embarrassed more than he would let on.
"Oh, will you drop it? Let's talk about what we came here for!" Aizawa says to your relief, dropping the conversation.

finding out precisely what guns are used in Death Note is so fascinating like
matsuda uses the same pistol throughout most of the anime, a heckler and coch USP. he even has it in the raid in the anime (though i thiiiink he might have a submachine gun in the manga) which is funny like....he must really like that pistol. but from what i'm seeing, this gun's usage in Japan was limited to the Japanese Special Forces Group, basically a counterterrorism group. on one hand, this seems to suggest that that's where matsuda was before the NPA. on the other hand, why the FUCK would a member of the special forces need his dad's influence to get into the NPA lol
but then. in the most important Matsuda Shoots A Guy scene, the warehouse, he's using a Smith and Wesson 36. Otherwise known as the "Chief's Special," which is such a gut punch considering he's shooting it on behalf of the dead Chief Yagami. not only that, but this gun isn't really like. one's primary sidearm. it's a gun that was sold to the NPA, and would probably be a primary sidearm for NPA officers — but not for Matsuda, who is usually seen with his semiautomatic heckler and coch. or maybe the heckler and coch is just for when he kNOWS shits gonna go down and he normally just has the S&W. we also see aizawa and ide pull the same gun on ryuk.
at least in the US, it's commonly a gun stowed in the pants waist or ankle holster.
this has me asking so many questions. well, first, why didn't the SPK fire on light, given that they knew he was kira? maybe they weren't armed. that would make sense actually, because they wouldn't have the authority to have guns on japanese soil, but they might have been shown with guns earlier. maybe the task force wasnt SUPPOSED to be armed, but they all brought their guns anyway — the easily hidden NPA-issue Smith and Wesson.
but if that was the case, why didn't at least aizawa shoot light? he came into the warehouse thinking light was kira. and why would matsuda bring a gun?
i just have so many questions. like, the death note creators clearly did their research about different types of guns, so what the hell was up with that fake execution scene? why not just have the gun not be loaded?
but i DO think it's really funny that matsuda is as accurate with two different types of handguns as watari is with a rifle and took a goddamn handgun into a mafia raid while everyone else had semiautomatic rifles. same energy as people who use the lightning ram ash of war in elden ring pvp

I just had a terrible idea for a roleswap between my four fav dn characters so here we go
Lawliet "L" Wammy (age: 18)
A brilliant student but a bit of a shut-in
Spends all his time either in school or locked in his room on the computer
True Crime fan before it was cool
His father Quillsh is proud of his impressive grades but really wishes he'd go out more
A bored Shinigami (maybe Ryuk? idk about swapping the Shinigami) directly hands L a Death Note because they thought he'd have fun with it.
L immediately uses it and his detective skills (along with his connections online) to solve cold cases.
"Light" (age: 24)
Real name: Tsuki Yagami
A mysterious, faceless detective who works alongside his mentor "Asahi" to solve cases that seem fun.
"I am the Light that will purge Kira's darkness! I am Justice!"
^^Total drama queen. The maniacal laughter with his voice modifier is just *chef's kiss*
Has no problems with using criminals to get results, but Asahi will often call him out on his more questionable choices.
Officer Misa Amane (age: 23)
During the Kira case, her alias is Misaki Anai
Just recently hired on the NPA
Often gets sent to fetch people coffee, much to her dismay
Wants to protect innocent people, but is unsure about her stance on Kira most of the time
Works on the Kira Task Force alongside Light and the other NPA officers
(Maybe Aizawa's the chief in this timeline? Idk about putting Quillsh on the NPA, it might be more fun to see how Kira would operate without that inside info)
Pretends to be Matsu-Matsu's manager to keep an eye on him
(She has way too much fun with the manager gig and hates having to pass it off to Mogi later. Or maybe she's a lot sneakier during the Yotsuba arc. idk)
Touta "Matsu-Matsu" Matsuda (age: 22)
Not-so-successful model (but he's having fun with it)
After finding a dropped Death Note and reading the rules, he figures out that Kira must have one too
He uses secret messages to find Kira on a Kira fansite
The two of them try to crack cases and go after criminals together
I'm still debating if Matsu gets the Shinigami Eyes. If he thinks it's the only way he can be useful to Kira he might do the trade. But also I want him to live so 😭😭
He's a pretty good cover for L once the two of them meet in person- L can pretend that he's made a friend in school to keep his father off his back

*************
NINETEEN.
When Aizawa steps into his dorm that night with you curled in the crook of his elbow, the only thing he has on his mind is sleeping.
He is completely wracked with exhaustion. His bones ache, his body hurts, and he is truly feeling much older than he is. All he could think about was taking a hot shower, kissing Eri goodnight, and curling up on the couch or in his bed (whichever he feels appropriate for the night) with you on his lap while meeting with the city’s police department and the Hero’s Public Safety Commission aka HPSC. Both organizations are pretty concerned about Toyoma’s escape, as they should be.
Aizawa didn’t realize how incredibly skilled the guy is until he started fighting him down in the theatre’s basement. He especially didn't realize how hostile and dangerous Toyoma is until he attempted to kill you. He is a villain who has no moral compass and no values except surviving. With Aizawa’s experience, those are the worst type of villains.
During the meeting with the police department and the HPSC, he carefully responded to each question and explained the night as best as he could without mentioning you being a part of the mission. It was bad enough you were there and nearly faced your death. He didn’t need people as powerful and strict as police officers and HPSC members on your ass, wondering who you were and possibly even arresting you. He’d never forgive himself if anything were to happen to you or your career.
That is why he put the blame for Toyoma’s escape entirely on himself, telling the police chief and the head of the HPSC that he let his guard down for just a few seconds. “That’s all it took for Toyoma to set his trap and activate a smoke bomb,” he explained begrudgingly as he sat at the long, oak table at the HPSC headquarters. “When it cleared, Toyoma took off and disappeared into the streets. I couldn’t find him after that.”
Though the HPSC were livid (as usual when things didn't go according to plan with their heroes and made them look bad as an organization), the police chief defended Aizawa. “Eraserhead is one of your most highly-skilled pro heroes,” he argued. “If this piece of shit escaped then it's safe to say that he’s right on Eraserhead’s level and we should be very afraid of that. We need to be doing whatever we can in helping Eraser catch him; not criticize or degrade him for something that he couldn’t control.”

Aizawa appreciated that. The meeting was over by 1AM and after downing some coffee and telling Mic he could leave his dorm after babysitting Eri, Aizawa headed home in his Armani suit. When he saw you, his favorite cat, curled up at his door, he couldn’t have been happier. As soon as you heard his footsteps, you picked your little head up and tottered over to him, meowing happily.
He picked you up and held you in one arm as he dug in his pocket for his key. “Let’s get some rest,” he cooed to you, tiredly smiling down at your little whiskers and slow blinks. But as soon as he unlocks the door and gets inside the dark dorm room, he can tell that that won’t be the case tonight.
Because as soon as he shuts the door behind him, he gets a weird feeling. A feeling that has him feeling uncomfortable and unsettling because the silence of his dorm is uncomfortable and unsettling. It isn’t the same comfortable, serene silence of the UA campus late at night. It feels as if the quiet is just a fraud; a distraction from the attack about to happen. That is Aizawa’s first concern.
His second concern is when you suddenly jump out of his arms and hit the floor before dropping into a defensive stance, facing the wall behind the couch. You lean back on your hind legs, your tail frazzled and stiff and your ears back. Though the dorm room is empty, you react as if you see a threat.
“What?” Aizawa asks, his heart beginning to pound. As if answering him, you begin to hiss and yowl at the wall, nothing but empty space there. But you seem to know better as you spit and growl, your teeth bared and eyes sharp.
Aizawa blinks at you, shocked and alarmed. He’s never seen you like this before–so hostile. This can only mean the eerie feeling he initially had walking in here was a warning. Something is wrong here. Instantly, he rips his scarves out of his tracksuit collar and places his duffle bag on the floor. He looks towards Eri's door, finding it closed.
He has no time to wonder if it’s locked because that is when he sees the same villain from tonight at the opera slip through the wall behind the couch–unfazed, unharmed, and completely in the flesh. He is still in his suit though a little disheveled from the fighting and his hurried escape from the opera. And he’s looking straight at Aizawa, ignoring the hissing cat on the floor. Aizawa clenches his scarves, enraged a the nerve of this fuck to come here. “How’d the fuck you get in here?” he growls, angered.
Toyoma smirks at him, slowly walking around the couch to the living room. “You really wanna ask me that?” he snorts. “The security guard in the lobby is out like a light. Plus, all I had to go is slip through the ground and crawl my way through a tunnel to this place. Thank God for my quirk, right?”
Aizawa moves away from the door and enters the living room as well until they’re standing across from each other, staring each other down like two lions about to battle for their territory. A coffee table is the only thing separating them from each other. You continue to hiss and yowl but Aizawa stands in front of you, blocking you from the villain's view. “You need to leave now,” he warns. “If you don’t, I’ll make sure you don’t get away again.”
Toyoma’s taunting smirk grows. “Oh, but that’s where you’re wrong, Eraser,” he chuckles. “See, I followed you here for a reason: to make sure you never stop me again. If I keep you alive, that means you’ll always be after me and I can’t have that.”
Slowly, he reaches into his jacket pocket and pulls out a long fish knife that glints in the moonlight cutting through the window. “I’ll make this quick,” he growls before pouncing at Aizawa over the coffee table.
Aizawa is just as fast. He immediately flings one end of his scarf at Toyoma and entraps his wrist, gripping it. Toyoma grunts in pain as Aizawa begins to twist his arm, causing him to drop the knife. With his other free arm, Toyoma attempts to free himself by yanking on the scarf but that only gives Aizawa the advantage to fling him into a nearby wall. Obviously not expecting it enough to use his quirk, Toyoma hits the solid wall with a loud thud, causing a framed picture to fall as he hits the floor.
Aizawa moves quickly. He takes the knife from the floor, snatches the phone charging in the kitchen by the microwave, scoops you up, and races to Eri’s bedroom which he finds is open. He barges into her darkened bedroom, slams the door shut behind him, and hurries over to Eri’s bedside. She is already awake and out of bed, balled up beside her bed and shaking in her Mickey Mouse PJs. When Aizawa notices that her little horn and red eyes are glowing–things that haven’t happened in months–he suddenly has the blinding urge to kill Toyoma right then for scaring his little girl.
“Eri,” he says, startling her. She instantly turns to him, the glow of her little horn dimming as well as her ruby-red eyes. “D-Daddy?” She fearfully stutters. “What’s going on? Is there an earthquake?”
“Yeah, baby,” he quickly replies as kneels down next to her, lowering you into her arms. You latch onto her immediately. He also hands her the phone from the kitchen, already having trained her to call for help––either Mic, Hitoshi, Mirio, or 911. “I need you and your cat to stay in here, okay? Lock the door, keep the phone near you if you need to call someone, and don’t go near the door until you hear me tell you to open it. Understand?”
Eri frantically nods but grips his arm when he begins to stand. “W-where are you going?” she yells, panic in her little voice. “Daddy, don’t leave!” She begins to cry, fat tears rolling down her cheeks. Aizawa feels his heart tear in two as he presses a hand to her cheek, wiping her tears away.
“I’ll be right back, pumpkin. Just stay here with your kitty, okay?” He leans in and presses a kiss to her forehead, doing his best to keep back his tears. He needs to protect her. "I love you so, so much,” he whispers.
He doesn’t stick around for long to hear Eri respond to him. He quickly storms out of the room and locks it behind him. As he does, Toyoma has found his footing and is now searching for his knife. When he sees Aizawa standing there with his knife behind his back, his eyes widen crazily. “There you are!” he cackles. “I thought you had pussied out on me.” He cocks his head, eyeing the door behind Aizawa. “What’s in that room behind y–“
Before he can finish his sentence, Aizawa is leaping toward him and tackles him to the hardwood floor. Once they fit the floor, Aizawa scrambles to straddle Toyoma, squeezing his muscular thighs around him and pinning him to the floor with his weight settled on Toyoma’s chest. With a grunt, Aizawa brings the knife up to drive down into Toyoma’s right pec, but Toyoma's upper torso begins to sink into the floor, trying to escape Aizawa’s attack.
Aizawa quickly grabs Toyoma’s leg, stopping him from disappearing entirely. He wastes no time driving the knife into Toyota’s thigh, earning a high-pitched roar of pain. “You’re not goin’ anywhere, bitch,” Aizawa growls before taking the knife out. Blood spurts out of Toyoma’s new wound, staining his dress pants. Aizawa goes to stab him again in the same place but Toyoma surprises him when he suddenly rises from the floor as if practicing a sit-up and headbutts Aizawa in the nose. Pain explodes throughout his nose bone, causing Aizawa to drop the knife.
The few seconds of Aizawa letting down his guard allow Toyoma to throw him off of his body. Aizawa tumbles onto his back but manages to recover. He quickly rises and fights Toyoma off when he attempts to charge at him with the knife, angrily roaring as he does. Aizawa grips both of Toyoma’s wrists in his hands, trying to force him and the knife away. He grunts from the force of holding Toyoma back, staring at the tip of the knife in his face. The harder Toyoma pushes, the more Aizawa has to push back and his knees begin to buckle.
There is suddenly a knock at the door and the sound of pro hero and professor Vlad yells through the wood. “Aizawa?” he calls. “What’s going on in there?” Aizawa doesn’t answer, too distracted by Toyoma and the knife. Toyoma’s face is red and twisted in rage like the ugliest dog Aizawa has ever seen. This guy isn’t playing.
But neither is Aizawa. Realizing he has Toyoma right where he needs him, he begins to stare into his eyes and quickly rummage through his mind to draw out his energy. “No!” Toyoma cries, realizing what’s happening. He quickly drops the knife and disappears into the floorboards much to Aizawa’s dismay.
The knocking at the door continues, but Aizawa ignores it. He quickly grabs the knife and breaks it in half, scattering the pieces on the floor.
He then busies himself searching for his opponent, whirling around to face each wall. “Where the fuck are you?” he hollers. “Come out here now!” Vlad continues to frantically knock on the door, calling for him. He hears Nemuri too, which means everyone can hear what’s happening behind his closed door. He doesn’t have time to feel apologetic for waking the others.
And he barely has time to prepare for the blow that Toyoma gives him when he suddenly emerges from a nearby wall. Aizawa caresses his jaw which is now severely aching. He turns to elbow Toyoma in the face but finds him gone. In a flash, the villain reappears from behind Aizawa now and kicks him hard in the ribcage. It feels like the wind is being knocked out of Aizawa’s body and a fire has been lit in his ribcage all at the same time.
He doesn’t have time to recover when Toyoma suddenly slams and shatters something against the back of Aizawa’s head. Like a fallen tree, Aizawa tumbles onto the floor on his stomach as pain explodes on his scalp.
The world looks blurry and sounds muffled now, including the voices coming from the door. “Shouta!” Mic’s voice drifts through the front door now, urgent and scared. “It’s me! Open the door!”
Toyoma appears in front of Aizawa, his shoes the only thing visible. Aizawa’s eyes slowly roll up to face his cruel smirk and the broken framed photo of him and Eri at the aquarium. “Can’t even take my quirk,” he coldly laughs. “But I guess the element of surprise always works for someone taken off guard.” He drops the framed picture and steps on it, the glass crunching under his shoe, as he kneels in front of Aizawa. “But you’re also a weak old man, Eraser,” he whispers.
A warm liquid drips into Aizawa’s eyes. He realizes that he is bleeding. The world blinks in and out, dark spots beginning to coat his vision. However, he can still see Toyoma pick up the pointed half of his knife and hold it up near Aizawa’s scalp.
“Sorry to do this,” he says, not at all sounding the least bit sorry. But before he can drive it through Aizawa’s head, a flash of black zooms in front of them and jumps onto Toyoma’s face.
Aizawa watches as you vigorously claw and scratch at Toyoma’s face, causing him to scream bloody murder as you tear his face to shreds. He grapples with your furry body, trying in vain to get you off of his face. “Get off!” he screams. “Get the fuck off of me!” You yowl and scream at him, flashing your fangs as you continue to claw at his skin like its paper, creating terrible, bloody wounds that will surely need stitches.
Finally, Toyoma manages to throw you off of him and you go soaring behind the couch. He falls to his knees and begins to twitch in pain, blood furiously dripping from his face. ‘Good kitty,’ Aizawa thinks to himself. It is the only coherent thought he can produce as he begins to fade farther away from reality. He’s losing too much blood he knows, and he will soon lose consciousness. Maybe he’ll die too? He doesn’t know.
The only two things he thinks about in those fleeting moments of consciousness are Eri and you. Your smile. Your eyes. Your voice which he begins to hallucinate is right in his ear. “Aizawa,” you whisper to him. “Shouta, wake up. Don’t close your eyes, okay?”
He even believes he feels your touch, your warm hand cupping the back of his head while the other caresses his face. Are you really there, he wonders? Or is he simply dying?
Though muffled, he hears the sound of his door slamming open and multiple voices shouting, yelling. He doesn’t feel your touch anymore. “Shouta!” Nemuri cries out, scrambling to help him.
“What the fuck happened to him?!” Vlad demands.
“Someone go get Eri!” Mic urgently yells.
Aizawa hears Nemuri’s quick footsteps as she leaves for Eri’s bedroom. He feels Mic beside him now, knowing it’s him by the scent of his cologne. “Shouta, stay with me,” he softly urges his friend. “You’re gonna be just fine, okay? You’re gonna be just fine…”
Those are the last words Aizawa hears before darkness finally comes.
***********
When Aizawa awakens moments later, all he sees is a bright, blinding light overhead that is way too bright and unnatural to be the sun.
‘Oh, fuck,’ he thinks in a panic. ‘I’m dead, aren’t I? That motherfucker killed me.’
He blinks rapidly at the bright light illuminating above him as his vision begins to clear. When it does, he realizes that the light is not one that is at the end of a tunnel or some spirit guide leading him into the afterworld–it’s a light attached to a tiled ceiling. His hearing begins to sound more crystal too. Surrounding him are the sounds of methodical beeping and distant chatter.
Once his eyes adjust, he looks around at his surroundings. A room that isn't his own lies in wait for him with white walls, a small TV hanging overhead above a sink and tiny kitchenette, and muted grey furniture–an armchair and a couch sitting by a large window overlooking the clean, cut grass and trees blossoming with yellow flowers behind Mic's head.
Wait…Mic can’t be dead too, can he?
“Mic?” Aizawa croaks out which results in a series of coughs and an awful burning in his ribcage. As he hacks up his lungs, the beeping he heard before gets faster. He realizes that it's a heart monitor. He’s not in heaven–he’s in a fucking hospital.
Mic, who was reading a book, quickly flings the book aside and goes to his friend’s aid. “Hey, Sho’,” he softly says, rubbing Aizawa’s back. “How do you feel?” Aizawa licks his lips after all the coughs are out of him, groaning at the ache he feels in his ribs. “My throat’s dryer than a bitch,” he grunts.
Mic quickly goes to the kitchenette and gets a paper cup of cold water. He carefully hands it to Aizawa who tries to sit up as much as he can but even that makes his chest burn and his ribcage ache. “Don’t try to move too much,” Mic says, bringing the cup to his lips. “The doctor said that villain took a big hit at your ribcage.”
Aizawa can tell. He slowly sips the water, feeling somewhat better now that he isn’t parched anymore.
“Anything broken?” he asks. Mic shakes his head. “Luckily no, but they had to give you stitches for the gash in your head and clean up some bruises. They also bandaged up your upper torso so try to breath slow. Nothing is life-threatening, but the doc is still running some tests. He’ll be happy to know you’re awake.”
He gives Aizawa another sip of water before plumping his pillow for him like a good, attentive servant.
As he does, his words process in Aizawa’s still slightly dazed mind. He looks down, finding wires taped to his wrists and a hospital gown adorning his body. “How long have I been in here?” he asks, suddenly panicking. “Where’s Eri?”
“Relax, relax,” Mic soothes him so he doesn’t set off the heart monitor again. “I sent Eri down the hall to the vending machine. You’ve only been in here since last night. It’s about 10 AM now.”
Aizawa sits back against his pillow, letting the information process in his frazzled mind. He’s been here since last night? “What happened to Toyoma?” he asks. Mic gives him a blank stare. “The villain.”
“Oh, we called the cops and they came running,” Mic explains. “The entire campus turned into a chaotic mess. Everyone was awake at that point. Nezu and Nemuri came to the hospital with me to ensure you were okay, and the police chief called earlier to give me information to pass down to you.” He pauses to give Aizawa another sip of water. “The villain–Toyoma–was arrested and is being held for questioning right now…with no bail, might I add.”
A sigh of relief leaves Aizawa’s body. That’s good, at least. “How’s my dorm?” he asks, afraid to know the answer. Mic sheepishly smiles at him. “Well, since it’s a crime scene now, you won’t be able to go back for at least two or three weeks, but Nezu is offering you an apartment near UA for the time being. So far, Eri and I haven’t been back to UA. We’ve just been here.” He motions over the entirety of the hospital room.
“We?” Aizawa parrots. “Eri’s been here this whole time?” He can’t help feeling unhappy with this news. The last place Eri needs to be in is a fucking hospital. Mic doesn’t show any kind of alarm to Aizawa’s anger. “She didn't want to leave you, Shouta,” he protests. "I tried to get her to come back to my dorm but she–“
“And what about Y/N?” Aizawa interjects. “Where is she? Does she know?” Mic’s eyebrows furrow in confusion. “Y/N isn’t here. The last time I saw her was last night in your dorm room. She was already there by the time we got Vlad to bust down the door. He didn’t wanna do it since it counts as UA campus property.” He rolls his eyes behind his glasses.
Aizawa scowls at him, perplexed. “Y/N was already in my room?” he asks, utterly confused. Mic slowly nods, just as confused. Your voice comes back to him telling him to keep his eyes open, your warm hand cupping the back of his head. So that wasn’t a hallucination. That was real. You were really there, coaxing him to hang on. But…how?
“That’s impossible,” Aizawa says, trying to reason. “Before Toyoma came, no one was in my dorm last night except for me, Eri, and–“
“Daddy?” a tiny voice whispers from the doorway. Aizawa and Mic turn to the doorway, finding a little girl with her locks of silver hair pulled into a ponytail and wearing overalls over her shirt. She holds a jukebox and a pack of cookies in her hands as she gapes at Aizawa, her eyes wide.
“Eri,” he softly says, a smile curling on his lips. “You got those cookies for one, huh?” She immediately drops both items and runs to him, scrambling onto the bed. She is careful as she wraps her arms around his neck, nuzzling her face into his neck as she wails. “I-I thought you were dead,” she hysterically sobs. “I-I thought you left me!”
Aizawa holds her close, thanking God that she’s safe. “Never, pumpkin,” he coos. “I’d never leave you. I’m just so happy you’re safe.”
He cradles her head to his chest, ignoring the burning and aching of his body. This pain means he’s alive. It means that he can recover and have more time with Eri, Mic, and everyone else he loves. “Everything’s gonna be okay, honey,” he shushes his sobbing Eri. “I promise.”
But despite the joy he feels, even he can’t decide if he’s telling Eri this to reassure her, or if he’s telling himself this to reassure himself.
Especially when your absence is all that is on his mind. This only gets worse for him when a nurse suddenly appears in the doorway holding a vase of the most beautiful bunch of pink flowers in a glass vase. “Oh, you’re finally up!” she cheerfully says. “That’s great because I’d rather you see your gift with your own two eyes. I’ll just leave them here for you and go alert the doctor.”
Once she lowers the flowers on his bedside table and leaves, Aizawa examines the beautiful flowers and finds a tiny white card tied to a ribbon around the neck of the vase. There, he sees a message and your name:
I’m so sorry for how things turned out. Please make sure you rest up and I look forward to seeing you once you’re out of that bed.
-Love, Y/N

How female wammy's boys and the task force be?
I never thought I'd get this question but I like it! I'll take this opportunity to say that if anyone wants to ask me about Death Note go ahead I would love to talk about it.
Warning: A LOT of text below.
First I would like to start with the Task Force (I clarify that I will use she/her for them when I'm talking about their fem version).
To begin with, it would be very difficult for Soichiro to become chief, in fact, I think she would not be chief. Because no matter how good a police officer she is, I doubt they would appoint a woman as police captain, especially a married woman with children. She and Aizawa are constantly questioned about their marriages, they do not believe that someone would be capable of marrying a woman with a temperament like Aizawa's and in their opinion Soichiro, being a mother, should not dedicate herself so much to her work in the police and they do not believe that her husband agrees with being a housewife (Sashiko has NO problem, they talked about it before getting married, she was not going to give up her goal of being a good police officer and he assured that he would support her and when they had Light her husband had no problem dedicating himself to work at home). So, she and the others being women would not have a high rank, but they are known for being good police officers so they earn a position in the Kira case, after everyone resigned and only Soichiro, Aizawa, Matsuda, Mogi and Ukita were left, L called them to work with her and named Soichiro, Chief Yagami (because she's L and she can do that).
For the rest, Aizawa is strongly criticized by her colleagues, being a married woman with children, it is not well regarded that she has such a strong character and be a police officer, many do not believe that she seriously has a stable relationship with her husband and daughter. However, she remains strong in the face of criticism, she wants to make the world a safer place and be a good figure for her daughter. She has great admiration for Soichiro and always wanted to be friends with her. When she returned to the Task Force they were able to get to know each other better and often bring both families to have dinner together. Soichiro and Ide also admire her, Soichiro for the good relationship she has with her family compared to her, because she feels that she is distancing herself from them, and Ide admires her for her hard-working personality, her great strength, conviction, and how she fights for justice, she considers her her best friend and for a time she had a crush on her.
Matsuda, oh my god, imagine all the times they criticize Matsuda but more frequently and the phrase "you had to be a woman" or "silly girl", and a little harassment from others police officers. They also criticize her even more for not having a partner. She is always told that she will never get a boyfriend as a police officer. Many times before the Kira case she would go home and start crying because they were very rude to her at work, until the Kira case started and she met Soichiro, she became an example figure for Matsuda, she admires and respects her a lot and tries hard to help her in the case. In the same way Soichiro made her her protégé when she noticed that she was being harassed by some of her coworkers. She and Misa would be BFF!! When they were investigating Takada and Light offered to get information out of her at first she thought it was a good idea but then she realized it and said "Hey, wouldn't that be cheating on Misa-Misa?!" Light managed to calm her down and convince her that it wasn't, but she still has doubts about it. Also, when Light begins his "act to use Takada" she notices that he says many phrases that her ex-boyfriends said to her when they were unfaithful, that made her feel very disappointed in Light but she convinced herself that It was for the investigation. Light's manipulation affected her a lot, she really liked him, a few years after the Kira case her friends convinced her to go to a psychologist.
Mogi was also criticized but thanks to her strong physique she gained a reputation faster than the others. They criticize her for her physical appearance but they don't dare to say it out loud, they are afraid of her. After the time skip when she has to be Misa's bodyguard she has more trust with her than in canon and sometimes they sleep together, mostly because Mogi has to console her because sometimes she got sad for Light, intrusive thoughts at 12 o'clock in the morning. It was a surprise to everyone to find out that apart from exercising, her other hobbies are poetry and watching TV dramas, and they were also surprised that she knew how to cook so well.
I don't know what things would change in Ide and Ukita. But them like with the others would be criticize a lot.
Now, the wammy boys if they were girls. The Wammy Girls. I believe that the Wammy's system would not discriminate against students based on gender (especially if L is female), but that does not mean that the orphanage children do not do it. I mean before they came to Wammy's they were normal citizens and their parents were raising them based on the system, so the kids would treat each other like they were taught by them. In other words, girls would not suffer discrimination in the educational system, but they would suffer social discrimination by other children (and from employees too)
We start with L, her attitude doesn't really change much, but they criticize her even more. "Why does a woman waste the best years of her life solving crimes?" "A lady doesn't dress like that, doesn't sit like that, or behave like that" "If you want to scare men away, you're doing a good job." Phrases she heard from the orphanage caretakers when she was a child at Wammy's. Anyway, she doesn't see the point, she knows that she is very far from fitting into the unwritten norms of society, and it doesn't bother her. It's L, she can do whatever she wants. Light definitely underestimates her, he believes that he can manipulate her like other women, and because of that several times puts himself between a wall and a sword. I literally think she would catch Light with no problem, because he would make his own grave by underestimating her (honestly, I think the Yotsuba Arc wouldn't even happen, or it would happen but different from the one we know). "The Nile is a river in Egypt, I'm 99.8% sure that your boyfriend is gay" phrase that she wanted to say to Misa but she didn't because according to Watari it would be very rude.
Mello, my queen, beautiful, smart, goddess. Aesthetically she wouldn't change much, I've seen that in some fanarts she has longer hair and a curvier body, and she looks just as beautiful, but honestly that's not necessary to make Mello more feminine. There is a lot of talk about Near looking very androgynous but there is no talk about Mello also not looking like a specific gender either, they look feminine but also masculine, and they slayed. She would have a lot of difficulty in the mafia, and she would suffer a LOT of harassment and sexism, until she became known for having no fear of tearing off heads and the gangsters began to be afraid of her. "You should smile more, you would look even prettier" "Why do you want the black dress? Wouldn't you like that pink one with flowers? Or that princess one over there?" "You're a girl, you can't play soccer with us, girls are bad" "A lady shouldn't talk like that," phrases she often heard. She likes girly things but when she was little she started rejecting them after some kids made fun of her for it, she started acting more masculine to be "strong" but they also made fun of her for it. In the end, when she grew up and surpassed that stage, she realized that they were going to criticize her no matter what she did, so she decided not to give importance to people, she began to dress more feminine, but without leaving the masculine. I feel that her desire to surpass Near, and have power is greater, she wants to show that she is capable of surpassing them all, Wammy's as an institution do not discriminated her, but her classmates did underestimate her a lot and she wants to shut their mouths by becoming in a powerfull figure (L or mafia leader whichever comes first).
Near, oh dear. When people saw her for the first time they thought she is very pretty, but then all her beauty is overshadowed by her attitude. In their words, she could be a very pretty girl and when she grows up she could get a good man, if she stopped that "strange" personality of hers. "You're a girl, sit properly" "You're very pretty, but you'd be even prettier if you smiled more" "Boys would like you if you acted more normal" "Near that's bad manners" "You're going to get wrinkles from being so serious" (that last one is courtesy of my mom, or at least she's the only person I know who says that). When she asked the staff at Wammy's to buy her toys she was thinking Legos, trains, robots, action figures. But they bought her dolls, stuffed animals, and a tea party set. She liked the stuffed animals but she didn't even pretend to be happy with the dolls and tea party set, in her words the dolls weren't even pretty (which shocked the staff at Wammy's because they were quite expensive porcelain dolls). Months later the children were taken to a store to pick out some toys and she was finally able to get the Legos she wanted, Roger told the employees to buy those types of toys for her. She resents having her hair brushed and once she make a tanstrum about it, they told her "Well, if you don't want to brush it, then cut it!" and she decided to cut her hair. It was a difficult decision because she liked her hair. When she grows up she decides to let it grow again, she brushes it herself from time to time, but it bothers her if others do it. If Light wasn't captured by L, and Near and Mello have to catch him, Light wouldn't underestimate N and Mello... Until he finds out that they were both women, and he only became more misogynistic than he already was after the time skip so. "I didn't want to bother giving unnecessary information for the case, L, but I will tell you that even if I am 18 years old I am perfectly qualified to be in charge of the SPK. I mentioned it because in our calls you seem to repeat very often that I am a young girl wasting her time. Please, don't do that anymore, I'm fine" something that Near had to say to Light in one of their calls. The SPK members would be super outraged to be led by a girl, especially one who looks so childish, but they wouldn't have time to complain because well, Mello+Death Note would happen.
For Matt. "Why does a girl play video games?" "You know a lot about cars to impress men, right?" "A lady doesn't sit like that" "You should have shaved" "Someday you will find a man who will make you feel the woman you are". She never felt like she fit into feminine for two reasons, one, she liked boys' things, two, she didn't think feminine suited her. She believed that she didn't fit in with feminine things, so she rejected them. "You should like more feminine things" Matt is sure that person didn't mean that she should like women, but that person should have thought twice before saying that to a lesbian. She doesn't dislike makeup, but she doesn't wear it and doesn't know how to do makeup. Once Mello helped her put on a little makeup.
Now, I know this has already been a lot of text, but I'm going to include Beyond, and A in this talk.
For A, I think that if L were still a man, she would feel even more pressure to success him, not because of L but because she hears the staff at Wammy's talk behind her back. She hears them underestimate her even though she is first in line, saying things like "The other children take L's role very lightly" "Are you sure she's number one?" "I don't think she's fit to succeed L." She would try to fight to prove them they are wrong but in the end she couldn't handle the pressure. If L were a woman, it would be strictly forbidden to treat successors differently because of her gender, she would have more support and could endure a little longer, but the end would be the same.
Beyond that, if L were still a man I can see her trying to look more masculine, but that's all. When people see her they think she is a witch.
Sorry if it's too long, I got a little excited hehe. I hope that answered your question, feel free to ask again if you want Anon! Have a good day 💖

Dial M for Matsuda
Day 13 of 31 of Kinktober
Prompt: Phone sex
Word Count: 1073
Matsuda gets a special phone call at the office.
Matsuda always knew he was the low man on the food chain in the office.  He knew he wasn’t as clever as Light, as brave as Aizawa and Mogi, as strong of a leader as Soichiro.  He couldn’t even think about doing the kinds of things Wedy and Aiber could do like they were second nature.   He had his days where he didn’t even know why he was there in the first place.  And those days were becoming more and more frequent.  But one didn’t think like that.  And nothing put Matsuda down quite like that someone being out of the office.
Things were quiet at task force headquarters.  Aizawa and Mogi were out doing the legwork while Light, Soichiro, and Matsuda were left behind to watch the monitors, keep an eye out for their suspects, do what Aizawa and Mogi couldn’t.  And it was more Aizawa than Mogi.  Mogi was busy tending to whatever Misa needed that day.  Matsuda couldn’t even do that right.  All he was good for was busy work.  And he knew Light and Soichiro both wouldn’t hesitate to give him busy work.  Lunch runs, coffee runs, anything that would’ve been set aside for the interns.  And it was starting to get Matsuda down.
Ring, ring!
“Matsuda,” Light groaned.  If he closed his eyes, Matsuda could almost hear it coming out of L, “Shut your phone up.”
“Sorry,” Matsuda grabbed his phone off the desk.  Unknown.  He hit the green icon on the screen, “Hello?”
“Go into the conference room.”
Matsuda held his phone away for a moment, “Hey, I need to take this.”
“Go ahead, Matsuda,” Soichiro allowed, “We have things handled here.”
“Thanks, Chief,” Matsuda went straight to the conference room and shut the door.  And the curtains, “What are you doing calling me?”
“What?  I can’t miss you?”
“Yeah,” Matsuda felt the heat rush to his cheeks, “But…I don’t know.  Something about this seems…wrong.”
“It’s not wrong, Touta.  We’ve been over this.”
“I know,” Matsuda bit his lip, “Maybe wrong wasn’t the word for it.”
“Was it…Naughty?”
“Yeah,” Matsuda chuckled to himself, “A little.  I mean, I get it.  You’re not here, but…What did you need me to go to the conference room for?  And isn’t it, like, five o’clock in the morning in London right now?”
“It sure is.  I just woke up.  You ask too many questions, darling.”
“What did you need me in the conference room for?” Matsuda asked again.
“What are you wearing right now?”
“Um…” Matsuda glanced down at himself, not even remembering what he put on that morning, “A suit?”
“One of the ones I got for you?”
“Actually,” Matsuda smiled a bit, “Yeah.  I know.  It’s kind of lame, but…”
“It’s alright.  I see I’m not the only one who misses you.”
“I do,” Matsuda let out a little sigh, “I could hardly sleep last night without you.”
“I’m sorry, sweetheart.  It’s only for a couple days.  I promise.  Then, you know what we could do?”
“What?” Matsuda could feel his heartrate steadily climb.
“Well…Do you think I’d be able to fit under your desk?”
“I don’t know,” Matsuda glanced out at the main room where Light and Soichiro were still hard at work, “Might be a little distracting, don’t you think?”
“Wouldn’t that be the point?”
“People would see you under my desk,” Matsuda laughed, “And they’d all wonder what you were doing down there.”
“And I don’t care what they’d think.  I know what I’d be doing down there.  I’d be undoing your belt buckle with my teeth and sucking your cock like a straw.”
Matsuda almost instantly hardened up.  He could feel himself scraping his zipper, “And…What, what else?”
“You know that little thing I do with my tongue you like?”
“Mmhmm…” Matsuda started undoing his belt buckle.
“I’d make sure I had a mouthful of peppermint tea, just for you.  The dual sensation of warm and cold on your dick…You’d like that, wouldn’t you, Touta?”
“Uh-huh,” Matsuda couldn’t unbutton his pants fast enough.
“And then, when you were all done and all spent like the good little boy you are for me, I’d wrap my legs around you and sit in your lap in that pretty floral skirt you like me in.  You know the one, right?”
“Yeah…” Matsuda’s arm was already elbow deep in his pants while he kept stroking himself.  Faster…Faster…
“You want me to be a good little slut for you, don’t you, Touta?”
“Yes…”
“You like when I get all naughty for you?”
“Yes…!”
“You can’t wait for me to get home, so I can smack you around some more, can you?”
“YES!” Matsuda fell back in his chair, completely and utterly spent.
“Touta?  Are you alright, darling?”
“Yeah,” Matsuda did his best to catch his breath, “Thank you.  I needed that.”
“You’re very welcome.  Now, if you can, go back to work.  It’s only another couple days.  I know you can hold out for me until then.”
“Uh-huh…” I’m not sure how well I can hold out, but I can try.
“Very good.” The other end went quiet for a moment or two, “I’m proud of you, Touta.  I know you think you don’t belong in there, but you do.  Just as well as anyone else.  Now, go on.  Go make me proud.”
“I will…” Matsuda smiled.  I miss you.
“And be sure to clean yourself up first.  That suit was expensive.”
“Sorry,” Matsuda giggled, “I’m guessing you heard.”
“Of course, I did.  You think I don’t know when you’re jerking off while we’re on the phone?  Why else would I have called you so early?”
“Or in the middle of the afternoon,” Matsuda clarified, “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to get back to work before my boss gets mad at me.”
“I’m sure he could never be mad at a cute little face like yours…”
“I love you…”
“I love you, too.”
Click.
Matsuda managed to pull himself together and go back out to the main room.  He kept his fingers crossed, hoping no one noticed his sudden elation.  But Soichiro’s curiosity got the better of him, “What was that all about, Matsuda?”
“What?” Matsuda was still lost in fantasy, in his cloud of pure pleasure.
“The phone call,” Light clarified, “Who was it?”
“Oh,” Matsuda got his head back in the game, “It was just L.  Asking about how the investigation was going.”
It’s great…It’s just…awesome.

This is just a vent session/ideas that I don't how to express other than ranting and complaining about it like a Karen, don't mind me
We all know that the world building and rules of bnha are bullshit and I get tired of fics using the same trope with the same people and the same place. I am looking at you vigilante!Midoriya fics. Of course there are some exceptions with original content like green guide and viridian(time travel fic), but most of them are the same with slight differences.
Where am I going with this? Well generally 90% percent of fics and canon itself is focused on one place,Musutafu. Even though, our heroes go to other cities, generally they're there for one fight and then go back to the capital of bnha. While ocs are not interesting to some people, they could be used to take a breath of fresh air from class 1-A and explore the world of bnha even more.
For example, who does investigations? We don't see heroes investigating most of the time (except nighteye). They are more like responders and generally do not act before a criminal does. Obviously it would be police and investigators, as stated in canon, they are above heroes and can call them to take action. However, we don't see the police that much except for Tsukauchi and the Chief of Hosu police. Wouldn't it be cool to see stories about police without showing all mha characters into the police department?
Who works in the underground? We are told about the power AFO has on the underground, but not shown. At most we saw 3 organizations that get involved in a big battle and go out with a bang. What about others? Organizations that establish their power in one place, trade with others, make deals with legal departments and generally stay hidden. Okay, I admit, those are shown in canon, but not that great. I want to see underground doctors, mafias, weapon smuggling, illegal trade with other countries, corrupt police and politicians (not HPSC), law battles, brokers (not Giran), contingency plans for the destruction of the hero industry, bars, casinos, smart criminals that know their limits and so on. I need to search a little bit more for criminal and underground info.
What about other cities? You can take vigilante! Midoriya and have him protect another city with less to none heroes. Just look at Deika city! It doesn't have heroes that are not part of MLA. Have Midoriya go to a reputable high school in the desired city to have an excuse to go there and protect it. Have him make deals with some shady, but harmless businesses, if you want to make him morally gray or make his character develop to not see everything black and white. Have him meet other underground heroes, aside from Aizawa!
What are other countries doing, while all of shit show is happening in canon? If this is Japan 200 years into the future, then you can bet that everyone already knows about what is going on there, because internet🤌. Why did only America respond? What were their motifs for helping Japan, because politics. Where the fuck is military? Most of those villains would be dead from a military grade weapon!
TD;LR Mha world is an ocean of potential that only was slightly explored

Izuku who is unaware or reluctant to admit that he is the avatar. having lived in total isolation in his home as a sun warrior, however he struggles with his native element of fire and can only call upon it in rage.
Ochako an air bender who has recently obtained her tattoos, she is the granddaughter of Jinora and Kai. Ochako while reluctant at first keeps the realization of Izuku's status as avatar a secret and decides to travel and teach him.
Shoto is a fire bending prodigy but refuses to use his bending at all, only associating it with his father and his father's mad desire for him to be the avatar. he is found by the (at that time) duo after he runs away from home and is kidnapped (by his father's men). Izuku and Ochako save him, and Izuku enlightens him that his fire has nothing to do with his father. he joins them when he discovers that they are heading to the northern water tribe, which is his mother's homeland.
Tenya while ridged in his water bending is an excellent healer. however he wishes to be more like his go with the flow older brother, and occasionally doubts his worth since he struggles with fighting even though he has a strong sense of justice. he agrees to take over Izuku's training for Master Rei and travels with the group.
Rei may appear fragile but is not only a master in healing but also in combat, using her meak demeanor to her advantage. in the water tribe it is stated that those with white hair are bless and/or loved by the moon spirit, but unfortunately for Rei her white hair was the main reason she was once kidnapped and forced to marry Enji Todoroki in his maniac attempt to create the next avatar through superior genetics. after years of abuse, she finally broke down and while she was able to escape that man and return to her homeland, she also scarred her youngest and had to leave her children behind. she regrets not taking them with her to this day.
Aizawa while being a non bender is a master of martial arts and pressure points. he is the second child of the chief and an excellent warrior. he joins the group as a chaperone, because he doesn't trust a bunch of kids to take care of themselves let alone train the avatar.
Kirishima is an eager earth bender who often finds himself in trouble. while he has great technical skill over his bending and can withstand more than most benders, he still has trouble believing in himself, mostly because his lack of being able to perform a bending subset, namely metal bending. however with some convincing agrees to join the avatars group.

I’ve wondered this forever and I feel like you’d be a good person to ask? Why exactly do you think L tested the Task Force, particularly Aizawa, with that bait n switch “It’s catch Kira or stay on the police force” situation? I just don’t understand the motive aside from toying with folks for the hell of it. I know he’s an asshole and Ohba describes his perception of L as “slightly evil” but still… a part of me’s always wondered if it was a sort of…? “Purposely making himself look as bad as possible ‘cause he kind of doesn’t like himself” type thing?? Especially since he was already sort of depressed and generally crabby around this arc. But I doubt Ohba was going for that or would even put that much thought into something like that. Maybe? … Maybe he was trying to whittle down the team so as to minimize casualties since the case was now getting into Big Boy territory?
Ah fuck, I dunno, that moment’s always thrown me for a loop and felt weird and out of place. And I know there’s also debate about whether his “I always liked you Aizawa, thanks for everything” was genuine or just him getting the last word/being cheeky. Or both. Maybe I’m just overthinking it? Sorry for the wall of text! If you have any interest or thoughts on this I’d love to hear ‘em!
At around that time the stakes were being raised; he had put all his money on Light being Kira and now that it was proven that he wasn’t he was kind of going in blind. I’ve always seen the scene as a reaffirmation of their resolve; after all, right before that, there was a lot of talk amongst the group about how ridiculous they thought the whole “lock Light and Misa and the police chief in a room until one of them talks” thing was, so it would make sense if after all that they did not have much faith in him and would rather keep their job security and lives than follow someone who had forced their boss to threaten to murder his son and his girlfriend. There is, in that reading, an underlying sense of him not trusting his judgment to go “If you want out now’s the time” and kind of assuming people are going to leave after his stunt.
In regards to the Aizawa line, I do genuinely believe he liked him. I also understand why Aizawa would not think that L likes him; they’re fairly dissimilar on a surface level. But Aizawa prioritizing his dignity and his family over throwing himself in harm’s way for some guy who just sent the whole task force on a wild goose chase after an 18-year-old? Stepping away and not letting the sunk cost fallacy get to him? That takes a lot of guts, guts that we see earlier when he’s ready to rush into the Sakura TV building. He’s got a strong sense of justice and listens to his emotions and his gut, something L, who prioritizes facts and logic when making serious calls in regards to the Kira case and whose trepidation inevitably gets him killed, can respect and admire.

OK as a Bakugo fan, are you perfectly fine with how Hori treats him? I mean the more Bakugo grows up as a person the more he gets sidelined and ridiculed. The more he grows, his life gets harder and Horikoshi has failed to give Bakugo one single moment of actual glory to make Bakugo feel truly happy. I don't know what Horikoshi's intentions are but Bakugo deserves happiness in the form of success more than anyone right now. Do you think he'll surpass AM and become NO.1 the way he wants?
Anon, I'm about to go off, but I want to first stress that this rant isn't really directed at you. You're just the unfortunate final straw hitting my back, because I have received so many asks to this effect, and I've answered some of them and ignored others, and now I am at my breaking point. I’m going to try to be nice about this, but again, a lot of my pent-up feelings are about to come out, and they’re the result of comments I’ve seen like this from many people, not just you anon.
Katsuki Bakugou fans, it's about time you (or at least some of you) learned a thing or two from Izuku Midoriya fans.
A true hero is not someone who does the right thing just to receive the fame, praise, and glory. Sometimes, being a hero means doing the right thing, saving someone, defeating evil, even when it will destroy you, even when there is nothing to be gained, even when no one will notice.
This is the crux of Izuku Midoriya’s character. This is why he is so lovable by the audience, especially in the beginning. Because everything he does is a heroic action with no clear reward. These actions aren’t motivated by anything material. They are just a manifestation of who he is. He can’t help but be a hero. His legs move on their own, and he more often than not gets punished for his heroism. When he tries to save Katsuki from the sludge villain, the heroes scold him, the media ignores him, and Katsuki berates him. When he punches the 0-pointer robot to save Ochako, most of his peers are bewildered by him and criticize him. Notice how only those with truly heroic hearts take note of Izuku’s actual heroism in these instances (even Katsuki, though he tries to put Izuku down for it). When Izuku tries to save Shouto in the sports festival, he’s punished with a loss in the tournament and no hero agency internship offers. When Izuku disobeys Gran Torino to search for Iida and save him from Hero Killer Stain, Izuku is scolded (but also praised) by Gran Torino and the police chief, and he’s not allowed to take any credit for his heroic deeds. When Izuku saves Kouta from Muscular, he’s punished by irreparably injuring his arms and not having the strength to save Katsuki. When Izuku goes to Kamino to save Katsuki, he’s punished by not getting to take Katsuki’s hand, and then he’s scolded by All Might and Aizawa. When Izuku fights it out with Katsuki at Ground Beta, he’s punished with three days of house arrest and cleaning duty. When Izuku tries to save Eri the first time he meets her, he’s scolded by Sir Nighteye for his arrogance.
There are even more examples, but you may now have realized that in some of these instances, Izuku was also rewarded somehow. But Izuku never did anything for the sake of a reward; he merely received a reward because someone there recognized Izuku’s heroism for what it truly was: heroism. And yet, Izuku was never allowed to know those potential rewards were on the horizon when he acted heroically. The message from the start has been very clear: what a hero deserves--what anyone deserves--is irrelevant.
Life is not fair. You don’t get things from the world just because you may deserve them.
"All men are not created equal. This was the reality I learned about society at the young age of four."
You get what you get, and there’s no rhyme or reason to it. You can only do anything with what you’ve already got. And you can’t be a hero if you’re doing it to get a prize. It’s not a job to be compensated. It’s an idealized, inspired-and-inspiring state of being.
Tumblr media
I don’t know what it is you’re thinking of when you write things like Katsuki “gets sidelined and ridiculed,” because I’ve never seen evidence that Horikoshi has done such things to Katsuki. But if you’re seeing what looks like these things happening to Katsuki within the context of the story, it’s very possible that that’s the whole point. The more Katsuki grows, the more “his life gets harder” precisely because that’s what it means to grow up. When you’re true to yourself and stand up for what you believe and do the right thing, when you are heroic at heart, the world will spit in your face, just like it always trampled on Izuku Midoriya. If you ask me, Izuku has never been allowed any glory like what you think Katsuki deserves. I don’t even believe glory would make Katsuki happy. Despite what he may have said in chapter 1, the growth he’s displayed reveals what truly fulfills him, what drives him: excellence and striving for it; atonement for the sake of righteousness and not for the sake of forgiveness; unity; and understanding.
Katsuki, at his core, is a creature of love. He is a selfless, caring, considerate individual, perhaps more so than any other character in MHA, or perhaps just in a different way than the other characters. It may be difficult to stand, but for Katsuki to demonstrate his heroism, for him to “catch up to Izuku,” he must do so in the worst of circumstances. That is how the story must go. He will have to crawl through the dirt and the muck for the sake of crawling through it, for the sake of others, and with no reward waiting--because the real reward will be his integrity prevailing and saving what--or who--matters to him.
So yes, I am perfectly fine with how I perceive Horikoshi treats Katsuki, because I am perceiving this from the perspective of a writer. To tell the story properly, Horikoshi is doing what must be done to let Katsuki shine brightest: he’s making Katsuki suffer. This is all in service of highlighting the sort of hero Katsuki is (the best one, in my opinion). Does he deserve to suffer? No. Do I wish him all the happiness and glory and recognition? Yes, as a person. But as a writer, I wish him all the opportunity to show what he’s made of, and this is how you do it. And for what it’s worth, I do believe there will be a just reward waiting for Katsuki at the end of this, even if that reward is merely the admiration of a select few people, but Katsuki himself is absolutely not allowed to know that it’s coming.
Do you think he'll surpass AM and become NO.1 the way he wants?
If you ask me, he already has. A long time ago.

Nurse Ochako Isn’t Taking Surgeon Katsuki’s Shit
Dr. Bakugou is an orthopedic surgeon none of the nurses want to deal with because he's such an asshole. Yelling at them for things that are out of their control and cursing at them when they call him about concerns for his patients.  Ochako is a night shift nurse who has one of his post-operation patients. The poor guy is writhing in pain, with clear signs that their pain management regimen is not working.
She knows she's going to have to call Dr. Bakugou for additional pain medications, and she's dreading it, but she has to do what's best for her patient. So, Ochako takes a deep breath, looks at the clock to see it's 2 A.M., and dials his number.
Dr. Bakugou answers on the fourth ring.
 "What?"
Ochako blinks. "Um, this is Ochako, a nurse at U.A Regional. Is this Dr. Bakugou?"
"Did you not look at the number when you called?" he snaps. "What do you want?"
 Ochako frowns.
"Your post-op patient, Mr. Kishimura, is still in a nine out of ten pain. I've given him—"
"Give him the meds I ordered," he interrupts. "That's what they're there for."
Ochako feels her irritation rising. "I did give him those medications if you would have let me finish. I gave him both narcotics and his scheduled acetaminophen, the last dose being an hour ago, and he's still sobbing and clearly uncomfortable. I need something else."
"What do you suggest he have then?" Dr. Bakugou responds in the most condescending tone she'd ever heard.
Ochako gives her charge nurse, Mina, who's standing over her shoulder to hear the conversation, a bewildered look. She looks just as shocked. If he wants to play this game, Ochako will play it. Her end goal is to ensure her patient's comfort, and she won't let this jerk ruin that.
"How about tramadol?" Ochako suggests. "The patient said with his previous surgeries that medication controlled his pain better."
"Tch, the patient is fucking allergic to that medication. Are you a fucking idiot? Did you even read his chart?!"
Ochako's adrenaline rushes through her body. She has pulled up the patient's chart, and tramadol is not listed on his allergies. She's even reviewed his previous surgical visits for his knee and shoulder surgery and saw that tramadol was prescribed both times.
"Dr. Bakugou," Ochako begins, struggling to keep her voice from rising. "The patient doesn't have tramadol listed on their allergies, and he got it for his last two surgeries. Prescribe it, please."
"I'm the fucking surgeon!" he yells, making Ochako hold the phone out. "Give him the meds I ordered, and don't call me again!"
Then the line goes dead. Ochako, Mina, and the rest of the staff who has been at the nurse's station sat there in awe. She's never been spoken to that way by a doctor and refuses to let that kind of behavior fly.  Ochako writes a memorandum of their encounter and gives it to the house supervisor, puts in a patient safety report, and stays after her shift to speak to the chief of surgical services. Dr. Aizawa, a doctor known not to let other doctors act terribly toward staff, gives her a solemn look and says he'll handle it. Ochako had no doubt he will; she just wishes she'd be there to see it.
A week passes, and Ochako is on day shift. It's a busy day; she's drowning, and of course, she's handed a new same-day surgery patient. Ochako sighs when she sees the surgeon is Dr. Bakugou. Fuck this guy entirely, but she prepares for her patient and gets report from the post-anesthesia unit. She finds an issue with the orders and pages him, dreading the callback. Instead of a call, as she's exiting her patient's room, she sees Dr. Bakugou walking down the hall. He moves with purpose and pride, a scrub cap with grenades on it visible from a distance. It's ironic that someone with an explosive personality wears that cap. Ochako squares her shoulders and steps in his path. His piercing crimson eyes stare her down, but she won't look frightened.
 "You nurse Ochako?" he asks.
"That's correct," she answers. "I paged you."
"Let's talk for a minute."
Ochako swallows and crosses her arms over her chest. "Are you just going to scream at me again because you can do that here."
Dr. Bakugou's cheeks flush. She would say it makes him more handsome, but she's not going to because he's Satan incarnate.
"I'm not gonna yell at you, alright?" he says. "Where's somewhere private?"
Ochako walks them past the nurse's station and tells the charge what she's doing. Izuku's gaze flickers over Dr. Bakugou before turning his attention back to her.
"Let me know if you need anything," he says, and Ochako understands that he'll gladly go to bat for her.
She notices Dr. Bakugou stiffen, but he says nothing, and Ochako leads him to an empty room. She closes the door with a resounding click, turning to him, ready to argue.
"I yelled at you when you called me about one of my patients," he begins. "Aizawa reamed my ass for it.  That was unprofessional and uncalled for, and you were right about his allergies. I wanna apologize."
Ochako places her hands on her hips.
"You were an absolute asshole, and it's not the first time with other nurses you've belittled them and questioned their intelligence. You need to get it through your surgeon brain that we are on the same team. I hear your apology and appreciate it, but what would mean the most is a change in behavior."
Dr. Bakugou's blond eyebrows shoot up, eyes wide. Maybe his bafflement comes from no one who he deems a lesser position talking to him with such authority. Good. Ochako is happy to be the first. The silence ticks on for a few moments before he does something surprising. He grins, and Ochako's heart flutters because, wow, he is gorgeous when he smiles.
"Won't happen again, Ochako. Fucking promise."
Ochako nods and reaches out to pat his shoulder. Lightning flutters through her chest when he places his hand over hers, holding it there longer than necessary. Ochako freezes as he drops his hand and turns to exit the room.
"Lemme see whatever order you were paging me about," he says over his shoulder.
Ochako tucks that encounter in her mind to scream at Mina about later before following him out of the room. From then on, Dr. Bakugou's attitude does a 180. No more name-calling and yelling. He's got sarcastic humor that Ochako likes, and instead of dreading caring for his patients, she looks forward to it. Dr. Bakugou buys food for her unit once a month, different types, from typical pizza to Thai and Indian. He times it whenever Ochako is working. Today, they eat together in the break room, and because of him, Ochako finds she loves Indian food.
"Why have I never eaten this before?!" she whines, taking another bite of chicken tikka masala and savoring the rich flavors. "It's so good!"
"Maybe you should slow down and enjoy it instead of inhaling it," Dr. Bakugou teases in between bites of tandoori fish.
"It's hard!" Ochako laughs. "Dr. Bakugou, who knew you were a food connoisseur?"
"Call me Katsuki."
Ochako pauses, her heart fluttering. Okay, so she may have developed a crush on U.A. Regional's former resident jerk, and she hates herself for it, but their encounters have left thoughts of him in her head longer than she wants to admit. His asking her to call him by his first name is putting scenarios in her head. Scenarios of going on dates to unique restaurants and watching medical dramas to point out all the inaccuracies in them.
“Sure, Katsuki," she replies, unable to hide her beaming smile.
Dr. Bakugou, now Katsuki, puts his elbows on the table, studying her. "Ever had Jamaican food?"
"I haven't," Ochako admits, waiting for his next words.
"You off Friday?"
"Yep."
"Let me cook for you," he says, redness creeping up his neck. "You need to be more cultured to other types of food. There's so much good shit out there."
Ochako wants to float off into the stratosphere. She pinches her arm to bring her back to Earth and stop the internal screaming rattling her brain.
 "I'll think about it."

okay i’m about to. make a post on mha characters as quotes from my notes app. but first i have smth to say
i take back what i said about bakugou being present mic and todoroki being aizawa. it’s the opposite. present mic is the one who wants to treat the reporters like villains when they break onto campus. todoroki has no chill. he reacts he doesn’t plan. they’re alike. similarly aizawa is rational and able to take a step back and recognize shit. bakugou also. (thinks abt the third movie when todoroki wants to warn the heroes and bakugou says no because it wouldn’t do them any good.)
also despite being loud, bakugou is actually very contemplative and quiet most of the time? aizawa resemblance. also have you Heard todoroki when he’s moody? little bastard called the chief of police a mangy mutt. not just a mutt. a mangy mutt. guts kid. guts.
alright i’m gonna go get in bed and then make that other post
