A Flower With Petals of Flame: Part four (Eris x Reader)

Rhysand STILL hasn't shown up to Y/N's annoyance, but she's keeping herself busy by helping Tamlin out, who may, (Or may not?) be changing for the better.
Tumblr media
I chuckled as Tamlin grumbled about hating the way the paint smelled.
“Would you rather have unpainted walls?”  I teased, and he shot me a half grin.
“I really do appreciate you helping out Y/N.  I never would have imagined that this place could ever look… normal again.”
I shrugged.  “I was bored, and anyway, you need to work on getting your people back.”  I said, a bit of a smile on my face.
The more I worked, the less I thought about why my brother hadn’t come yet, or what he would be like when he did.
“I really mean it, Thank you.”  He said, his eyes glittering with the life that had come back into them some time in my stay here.
He walked out, and I paused my painting for a moment.
Eris had said Elain had a vision of the dead coming back to life, as I had.  There were three of us.  The only problem is that they have no idea who we are.
Apparently, Tamlin didn’t know any of this because he had stopped going to the gatherings of the high lords.
One of which was coming up in the next few weeks.
If Rhysand didn’t show up by then…
Well whatever happens is his own damn fault.
“I got the paint!”  Lucian said, dragging in a new bucket.
I grinned at the green stains on his overalls, and the way his hair fell in front of his face.  He looked boyish in a way.
Just for kicks, I flicked a little paint his way, not too worried about getting it on the protected floor.
He scoffed, grinning and looking up at me through red lashes with a mischievous glint in his eye.
“No-”  I warned with a grin before he dunked his hand in his bucket, flinging paint all over me.
I laughed, and we kept flinging paint on eachother, darting away, until I had a brilliant idea.
I grabbed my bucket and threw the contents at him. He winnowed out of the way, and I let out a laugh-
Until I saw the other red haired male that was now dripping with paint.
Eris gaped at the green paint now covering his suit, looking up at me for an explanation.
I tried to hold back my laughter, letting out a single snort.
He started to grin, his eyes narrowing.  “Oh, you’re going to pay for that pet.”
I let out a single screech as I turned, running down the halls with Eris in hot pursuit.  I managed to make it out to the garden, careful not to trample the newly planted rose bushes.
A minute later, he caught me, tackling my body to the ground, getting me covered in paint as he did so.
I turned around to see Eris’s body on top of mine, caging me in as he grinned down at me, happy and playful.
“I missed this.”  I whispered, letting out a giggle.
His smile shifted into something softer.  “I missed you.”
I blushed heavily, and he made to get off of me, plopping down right next to me, sitting cross legged.
Sitting with him, I nudged him with my shoulder.  “So, how’s life been treating you?”  I asked softly, knowing what type of things he had gone through before.
He shrugged, his smile dropping.  “The same.  I mean, my fathers still around.  If anything, he’s gotten worse.”
He looks down at me, wiping his paint covered hand on the grass before pushing some loose strands of hair from my face.  “What about you?  What’s being dead like?”
I pause, stiffening up a bit.
Eris and I had always told eachother everything, and I mean everything.
“It’s a… You know how you told me everyone knew about Velaris now?”  I asked, and he nodded, listening intently.  “It’s like that.  Not one can know what it is or isn’t, otherwise the Asteri might find it and…”  I paused, not sure how to continue.
“What are Asteri?”  Eris asked, and I smiled, knowing he was helping me out.
“They look like us, but they eat dead souls, and keep them from going to the afterlife intact.  They aren’t gone after the Asteri get to them, but it sometimes feels like they might as well be.”
He nodded,  and I could see the gears churning in his head.  “Well, if they interfere with the dead so much, is it possible that’s why you’re here?”
I latched my hands into the grass, trying not to think on the horrible memories that started to surface.  “If it had been the Asteri, they wouldn’t have sent me here, they would have brought me to them.”
He tilted his head in question, his orange eyes sparkling in the setting sun, his lips slightly parted in worry.
But I couldn’t talk about this one.  Not yet.
“I knew them for a time.  Not nice people.”  I sum up, looking away.
He bit his lip, and I wondered what he was thinking about.
I didn’t have to wonder for long.
“Do you still have your wings?”  He asked, and I couldn’t help but flinch back a bit.
I had learned the hard way that if your wings are cut off in your life, you would not have them in the life after.
Or apparently if you were brought back to life.
I shook my head silently, and I could see the look in his eye, he had some sort of idea.
Tired, and knowing I had to get the rest of the paint done before I could really rest, I forced myself to my feet, heading off back into The Manor.
He was quick to follow, and to lighten the mood, I spoke with a teasing tone, “Hey, at least you don’t have to worry about getting your clothes dirty while you paint now.”
He arched his brow.  “I’m painting?”
I grinned, giving him the round puppy dog eyes, “I mean, don’t you want to help me?”
He groaned, even though he was smiling.  “How could I ever say no to you?”

It was so simple in the beginning. New love had that way with people. It was like that with Steve and Elaine but the bitter end that came with that kind of love never appeared. Not until the accident happened.
Summer of 1942, Steve had received the news of his life. He would be enlisting as a soldier as a part of a special military project. His lifelong dream to serve would be coming true. But he was leaving the love of his life behind. His wife Elaine. The woman who had bumped into him four years prior had fallen in love with the underdog. The little guy. Quite literally.
None of that mattered to her though. She'd help him with remembering his medications and to bring his inhaler whenever he left the house. Cleaning the wounds he received whenever he'd get into a fight sticking up for someone. But that was her Steve. The one who always chose the good in life, sticking up for the people who deserved it. One of the many things that she loved about him.
With Steve's deployment becoming official, he wanted to spend as much time together as possible. His plan was to take the week off and bring her to the lake house he proposed to her at. The memory was equally romantic as it was funny.
"It was right there you proposed, right along the water. Do you remember?"
They were resting among the freshly cut grass at the back of the lake house, wrapped in each other's embrace as they reminisced in the memory held within the land.
Steve rolled his eyes playfully, "How could I forget? You got so excited you pushed us into the water. Thought I'd come out as a popsicle, that water was so cold."
It was true. While Elaine was admiring the view, watching the light bounce off the water, Steve grabbed the ring box hidden within his pants pocket. It was his mother's ring, given to him before she passed. It was her dying wish for him to be happy, do the many great things he wished so badly to do. He was going to fulfill that wish, not only for her but for himself. It was the least he deserved and he was finally beginning to realize that.
Steve cleared his throat to catch her attention, grabbing her hand once she turned towards him, "Elaine Richardson, you are a marvelous woman. Far too marvelous for someone like me if I had a say in it but that's not the point." He was trying to maintain his composure the best he could. He didn't want to have the memory of having an asthma attack while proposing. He'd never live that one down, "The point is, I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you do the honors of bec-"
Steve never got to finish his sentence, Elaine had screamed yes and tackled him, right into the ice cold lake. Swimming in early October wasn't Steve's first choice of celebration. Not to mention having to sit inside wrapped in a multitude of blankets in front of the fireplace till his temperature regulated and lungs no longer struggled. He wouldn't change it for the world though. He'd live that moment everyday for the rest of his life if he could. As long as Elaine was by his side.
"Hey, honey, did you hear me?" Elaine turned in Steve's arms, seeing his eyes unfocused as he looked out at the water.
He focused back on her, giving her an apologetic smile, "Sorry darling, what did you say?"
"I said I'm going to go stick my feet in the water, do you want to join me?"
Steve shook his head, giving her a pat of encouragement on her back as she stood, "I'll watch you from here."
With a kiss of his cheek, Elaine ran to the dock ahead of where they were sitting. The same dock where Steve proposed. Where they said their vows. Where Elaine's life changed.
Elaine's foot caught on a loose board at the end of the dock, launching her body into the murky water. She wasn't sure what happened after that. All she knew was the calmness she felt. The way the murkiness cleared into something beautiful and bright. It was indescribable. Eternal. Peaceful. Infinite.
"Come on Elaine! Wake up for me! Oh god..No no no.."
She could hear Steve's voice but it was far away, echoing in the space that surrounded her. The serene environment shifted as she tried to open her eyes. Her body was being pulled at indescribable speed, jolting her forward as she hit the surface of the light.
She sucked in a sharp breath, coughing out the water that had entered her lungs. Her body was numb still, needle like tingles trying to awaken the nerves as blood pumped through her veins again.
She felt hands caress her face, forcing her eye to open as she regained consciousness, "Elaine, can you hear me?"
The fogginess that covered her pupils cleared revealing the neighbor's aged face. Steve must've ran to grab him after she fell in. He knew he didn't have the strength to pull her out on his own. Even if he did he wouldn't have enough breath to perform cpr to recover her.
Steve.
Her head turned frantically trying to find her husband, worried he was struggling to breathe after making that kind of trip even with adrenaline aiding him. Her eyes caught him a few feet away, cradling himself as he sobbed.
"S-Steve." Her throat croaked as she struggled to form the simple word.
His head raised, eyes swollen from his tears, "Elaine?"
He rushed to her side cradling her head against his chest, beginning to sob once more. Elaine, still shocked from what had just occurred, merely held onto his arms as she tried to piece together what had happened, "W-what hap-"
"Mrs. Rogers, there's not a way to put this lightly. But you were dead for almost five minutes."

Ok for the downtown abbey elucien au. Would one be a servant and the other a noble? Both nobles?? Both servants??? The possibilities are endless and I’m only on the first ep!
I just started it too, actually! I'm at the end of Season 3. You're right, there's so many good possibilities! I won't spoil any of the show, but here's the very first scenario I thought of.
Downton Abbey AU Elucien headcanons:
Elain could be the favorite daughter of a Lord whose wife passed away. She stays by his side to keep him from being lonely and has spurned any and all men who try to win her heart. Despite this, suitors visit the house regularly trying to convince Lord Archeron that they would make excellent husbands for his favorite daughter.
Lucien is his Lordship's valet. Lord Acheron appreciates him because he's got a good eye for fashion and always has a fresh perspective on whatever conflict the house finds itself in.
Unbeknownst to Lord Archeron, Lucien is head over heels for Elain. He finds himself waiting around corners and windows to try to catch a glimpse of her or even exchange a few words with her.
Lucien is Elain's favorite of the staff. He speaks to her like an actual person and makes her laugh. When they talk, they find themselves holding the other's gaze, accidentally touching hands, and grinning like fools.
Of course, Lucien supports Lord Archeron in his opinion that the men who come to court Elain are despicable, but not for the reasons the Lord thinks. To Lucien's constant torment, the Lord even says things like, "It would be so much easier if my daughter could marry a man like you." Lucien wishes something like that could be true, but it's impossible.
Conflict arises when Lucien is revealed to the son of a Duke himself. A bastard son, but an heir nonetheless. Lord Helion wants Lucien to enter society as his advisor, to travel around and conduct his business for him so he can see the world and its luxuries that he'd never gotten to experience in servitude.
Lord Archeron is reluctant to part with his valet. He's annoyed at the whole prospect.
Lucien is thrilled with the idea...mostly. He knows that if he leaves, he'll never see Elain again. Even if he is in a position to marry her now, he knows she won't leave her father. But he doesn't want to make a mistake that will ruin his chances at happiness.
So he asks Elain to come out to the garden in the middle of the night to speak with him. She does. It's a warm summer night when Lucien pours out his heart to her—he tells her how deeply he loves her, how much she has filled his life with light. He tells her he knows how much she wants to travel and see the world, but feels like she can't because she'd be betraying her father.
He asks her to marry him, promising that he would take her around Europe, maybe around the world. But that eventually, they would return to the Archeron estate and live near her father.
Elain is thrilled. To his delight, she has loved him all this time too. She practically tackles him to the ground to kiss him, but he catches her before they can land backwards into the grass.
"But we haven't courted at all?"
"Oh Elain, I've been courting you all this time. Since the second I saw you."
When Lord Archeron hears the news, he's devastated. Not only because Lucien has broken his trust and taken advantage of his position to "lust" after his daughter, but because the Lord trusted Lucien with the knowledge of how much the loss of his daughter would devastate him.
But Lucien reminds his Lordship that this is what he said he always wanted. "Didn't you say you wished I could marry Elain because you knew I would always respect her as she deserves?" Lucien promises to uphold that—to love Elain, cherish her, prioritize her needs and her happiness, to keep her safe.
It's such an honest speech that Lord Archeron finally relents.
Lucien and Elain are married within the month, right at the end of summer where the air becomes comfortable. They spend the early days of their marriage traveling around Europe, meeting new faces and learning more about each other than they ever thought possibly.
(Even though it's Downton Abbey, Lucien still fucks like he has fire in his blood.)
The new heir is true to all his promises and is better suited in his new position than anyone thought he would be. But most of all, the couple is happy beyond measure. They see Elain's family almost daily once their travels are finished and start a family of their own.
This became much longer than I intended. Let me know if you want servant Elain and Lord's son Lucien too! Oh oh, or one where they're both noble. I'm so glad @separatist-apologist sent you my way, this was a delight! 💛

Written, of course, alongside @throne-of-ashes-and-beauty
The Arrival {Modern AU ACOTAR 2nd gen PART I} The Arrival {Modern AU ACOTAR 2nd gen PART II}
Enjoy. :)
Tumblr media
Cassian jolted awake, thanks to Scarlett kicking wildly from inside of the womb. His arm had been draped across Nesta’s baby bump, and he’d been sleeping so soundly, until baby girl decided it was time for them both to wake up.
Nesta groaned, her eyes still closed as she muttered, “I hate you for knocking me up over and over and over again.”
Cassian murmured something that even he couldn’t distinguish in response.
“I have to pee,” Nesta sighed, rising to her feet.
It would only be a matter of time before their door was thrown open and their boys ran in, ready to start their day at this ungodly hour.
“That’s why she woke you up,” Cassian said, flipping over onto his stomach. “It was getting too crowded in there with your big, old bladder.”
Nesta mumbled something about being old and big and flipped him off, but he didn’t see.
“Is anyone else up yet?” Cassian asked, voice muffled thanks to his current position of face down in the pillow.
“Not that I can hear,” Nesta said, waddling to the bathroom.
“Need coffee,” he groaned and rolled to her side of the bed, scooping her pillow into his arms and snuggling up to it. “Need bacon.”
In a matter of moments, Cassian fell back asleep, and when he awoke, he was being used as a human trampoline.
“Daddy, daddy, up!” John was already in his little swim trunks, his sunglasses crooked on his face.
“Daddy’s sleeping,” Cassian murmured. “Go wake up your uncles.”
“They’re already awake!” John said. “Uncle Rhysie is making yums.”
Cassian arched a brow. “Bacon?”
“Sooooo much bacon,” John said.
Cassian looked around, just now noticing Nesta was gone. “Where’s mommy?”
“With Aunt Lainy and Aunt Feyre,” John said. “You’re the only one sleeping, daddy, come on!”
John hopped off the bed and grabbed Cassian’s big hand in both of his. He pulled as hard as he could, but Cass didn’t budge.
Thorn stuck his head in the doorway, “Mom says that if you don’t get up, she won’t let you introduce tonight.”
Cassian cocked his head to the side and looked at his oldest child in confusion. “She won’t what?”
Nesta happened to be walking by, an arm full of towels on top of her belly. “‘Induce’,” she sighed, accepting that college most likely wouldn’t be in the future for their firstborn. “I’m not going to have sex with you if you don’t get out of bed.”
Cassian was immediately up, tossing John in the hall and shutting the door in his face. He hollered, “Be right out, buddy!”
He stripped down and ran through the shower before he quickly dressed in his swim shorts and headed into the kitchen, where breakfast was being served.
He piled his plate high with bacon and sat between Livy and Lily at the long table.
“Good morning, ladies,” Cassian said, shoving a strip of bacon into his mouth.
“Put on a shirt, Uncle Cassi,” Livy ordered. Lily was quick to agree.
He chuckled.
“It’s about time you woke up,” Rhysand said, sitting across from him, winking at his twins.
“Someone kept me up all night,” Cassian muttered, staring at his wife as she swept into the kitchen. “Baby girl makes her have to piss every two minutes.”
“Bad word!” Luna groaned, shoving a fork full of eggs into her mouth as she eyed her uncle from down the table. “Ugh.”
Lily asked, “Are we going out on the boat today, Uncle Cass?”
“Of course,” he said, reaching over and grabbing one of Azriel’s pieces of toast from his plate.
He looked up and stared at him. “Dude.”
“Do something about it.” There was a mischievous glint in his hazel eyes.
Azriel opened his mouth to reply, but Feyre interrupted and said, “Everything in this home is on a ‘you break it, you buy it’ policy. If you’re going to brawl, do it outside.”
Elain laughed and said, “It’s a piece of toast, it’s not a big-.”
Azriel snatched multiple pieces of bacon off of Cassian’s plate and flew out the back door.
Cass was out of his chair and after him in an instant, yelling, “You little shit!”
“Bad word!” Luna yelled as Cassian hauled ass out the back door.
Azriel was shoving the bacon into his mouth at the bottom of the porch steps, grin wide.
“You know how I feel about bacon,” Cassian said, quietly, before taking the steps two at a time and tackling Azriel into the grass.
Cassian might have been bigger, but just barely. Azriel could certainly hold his own and proved as much as he rolled Cassian onto his back and shoved his armpit over Cassian's face.
The girls were standing in the back doorway, shaking their heads in unison.
“And here I was thinking Azriel was the most mature out of the bunch,” Nesta mumbled.
Elain sighed. “Men.”
Rhys just sat at the table and drank his coffee with a smile on his face.
For once, they all ended up on the boat, Nesta, Elain and Lannan included. Rather than high speed wake boarding or looking for waves to launch off of, they all took turns on the biggest tubes they had, a five seater they could just cruise on and relax. For the kids, at least.
“You holding on?” Feyre called back, and Rhys, Cassian and Azriel all three held up their thumbs. “Kids, find something to hold onto.” She smirked and released the throttle, lurching everyone backward.
The kids were giggling up a storm, holding onto each other and sitting up on their knees, turned around, watching their daddies.
“First one to fall off,” Rhys hollered over the wind and water, “has to babysit the entire brood once a month.”
Cassian just laughed. “My kids are the helions, you think that scares me?”
Azriel, from the middle, said, “That scares me.”
None of them sat on their asses. They all rode on their knees, gripping the handles on both sides of them. Feyre floored it, and they started flying over the waves the boat was creating behind it. They had made it nearly two minutes before they hit a massive bump and Rhysand went flying off the back, into the shining blue water. His head poked up a second later and he shook his hair as Feyre slowed down and turned back around to get him.
Cassian was howling.
Azriel was relieved.
Feyre was laughing as Rhys climbed back onto the back of the boat.
“You’re not going to be laughing when you realize what he just signed you up for!” Cassian called, he and Azriel still floating in the water.
“Get ready for a monthly date night, Lainy,” Azriel chuckled, climbing up the ladder.
Feyre turned to Rhys. “Did you agree to another stupid bet with them?”
“Oh, he didn’t just agree,” Az said, sitting next to Elain and taking Lannan from her lap. “It was his idea.”
“We’ll be watching all of the kids once a month,” he said, scratching at the back of his neck.
Feyre’s eyes went wide. “What?!” She pointed at Nesta and said, “Even theirs?!”
Nesta’s eyes lit up as a slow, greedy grin spread across her lips. “I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited about anything in my life, ever. Monthly date night?”
“That just means Cassian’s gonna knock you up, again,” Azriel murmured.
Nesta nudged Azriel in the knee, making Elain giggle, as Cassian hauled himself into the boat.
He sat by his pregnant wife and threw his arm around her shoulder. “We don’t need a date night for that, thank you.”
“We noticed,” Feyre muttered, “We’ve heard you every night since we’ve been here.”
Rhysand smiled at Feyre.
She just shook her head.
They were on the boat for another hour before pulling back up to the dock to prepare lunch.
“Alright, wash up, and get back down to the table.” Elain was carefully herding the children toward the house.
“You coming?” Feyre asked, seeing the three men still in the boat.
Rhys looked at Cass and Az, then back to Feyre and sheepishly grinned.
“Go do...boy things,” she muttered, shaking her head and waving toward the house. Cassian started the boat and the three men sped off.
Ten minutes later, they were all three sitting on the back of the boat, passing around a bottle of whiskey Cassian had pulled from the hidden ice chest beneath the captain’s chair.
“Made me another nephew yet?” Cassian asked, passing the bottle to Azriel.
Az chuckled. “I sure as hell hope not.”
Rhys and Cassian both turned to look at him. “I thought you wanted another?” Rhys asked, carefully.
Azriel finished his drink and blew out a quick breath of air, shaking his head. “Fuck, that’s awful whiskey. No, of course I do, that’s not what I meant. I’m getting laid a minimum of two times a day. You think I want to give that up?”
Neither of them said otherwise.
“What about you?” Rhys asked Cassian. “Think you want another after Scarlett?”
Cass shrugged, which was an extremely tame answer to that question coming from him.
“Most people speak when they’re asked a question, Cass,” Az said, passing the bottle to him.
“Asshole,” he mumbled, snatching it and taking a drink. “I mean, yeah, I do. Of course, I do. I’ve always wanted a big family, you know that.” He took a small sip and handed it to Rhys. “But Nesta is talking about whether she should get an IUD after she has her or if we should think more long term.”
Rhys blinked. “And by long term, you mean…?”
“I mean, she’s brought up the V word three times already this pregnancy.” He held up two fingers and moved them in a scissor motion.
Azriel shook his head, but Rhysand was blinking. “I thought Nesta wanted more kids.”
“Me too.” Cassian sighed. “But, Thorn and John have been a handful, you know? And this pregnancy has been hard on her. I don’t blame her, of course, there’s a reason women carry babies, not men. If I had to push a baby out of my-”
“We get it,” Azriel interrupted, nose scrunched.
“Don’t give me that look,” Cassian said. “You were in the delivery room when your two were born, you know what happens.”
“Well, yeah,” Azriel said, putting the bottle back to his lips, even though he had proclaimed how shitty it was last time around. “But I wasn’t watching. I almost did, with Luna, but then I saw her little head and nearly passed out.”
Rhysand chuckled, but Cassian was shaking his head. “Not me. Watched both the boys fly on out. Stood right behind the doctor, hands in the air.”
Rhysand and Azriel just stared at him.
“I think we’ve figured out why Nesta doesn’t want any more kids,” Rhysand muttered. “You could’ve at least held her hand while she was pushing a baby out of her lady bits.”
“Have you met Nesta?” Cassian asked. “What the hell would make you think she wanted me anywhere near her during delivery?”
“I have a game,” Rhys proclaimed.
Az took a second drink and muttered, “This should be good.”
Rhys clapped his hands and rubbed them together. “What’s the worst thing your wife has ever said to you during?”
They waited. Finally, Cassian asked, “During what? Sex?”
“No, that’s the game. During ‘blank’.” They continued to stare at him. “Alright, let me explain my thought process here-.”
“I really don’t think I want to know how your brain works.” Azriel took a third drink and handed the bottle off.
“First of all, fuck you.” Rhys took the bottle and pointed it at him. “Second of all, I was just thinking about how pleasant Nesta must have been in the delivery room, so it made me wonder what the worst thing she said to you while she was in labor. Person with the worst thing wins. Then we move onto, like, worst thing during a family dinner, during a sporting event, during-.”
“During sex?” Cassian asked.
Rhys sighed. “Yes, during sex.”
Cassian grinned. “Alright, fine. What’s the worst thing Feyre said to you while she was in labor?”
“Hmm,” Rhysand began, leaning back with the bottle of whiskey. “Oh, okay. When we were on our way to the hospital with the twins, Feyre told me that if I didn’t drive faster, she’d cut off my balls and hang them around the mirror to remind her of the time she almost killed her husband.”
Azriel blinked. “Feyre said that? What’s up with her and threatening your balls?”
Rhysand sighed, taking a drink before passing the bottle to Cassian. “She does seem to have a love/hate relationship with my balls.”
Cassian snorted. “Alright, Az. You?”
“Elain isn’t capable of saying hateful things, even in labor,” Azriel said.
The other two stared at him, refusing to accept that as an answer.
“I’m serious,” he laughed. “She actually apologized, mid-push, for squeezing my hand too hard.”
Cassian and Rhys burst out laughing.
“Dude,” Rhys asked. “Why is she so damn adorable?”
“Right?” Az laughed, and his head snapped up. “Actually, she didn’t say something, but she did do something.” They waited, watching him. “So you guys know we got to the hospital around one-thirty in the morning when we were having Luna. After about two hours, Lainy was progressing normally, and she was flipping through channels on the tv. I was tired, I’d worked a full day and we got to bed late, so I closed my eyes to nod off for a few minutes. And then she slapped the shit out of me.”
Cassian howled as Rhysand shook his head. “You know, I want to say that surprises me, but considering she calls you daddy-.”
“Fuck off,” Azriel laughed, snatching the bottle from Rhysand’s hands. “Alright, Cassian’s turn.”
Cassian shook his head, slowly. “The worst thing Nesta said to me during labor… Fuck, this is going to be difficult.” He took a moment to think, scratching the scruff on his cheeks. “I’d have to say it’s a tie between You’re literally the spawn of satan for doing this bullshit to me or Thank God we're in a hospital right now because I am literally going to kill you….for doing this bullshit to me.”
“Such a pleasant woman,” Az mumbled, taking a drink.
“For someone who loves you more than anything, she sure does hate you,” Rhys said, shaking his head.
“Oh absolutely,” Cass chuckled. “Who knows, she might say something even worse when she has Scar. We’ll have to see.”
“So who wins?” Az asked, getting to his feet. With a lift of the bottle he drained it, and tossed it into the body of the boat.
They all looked at each other, and as one, Rhysand and Azriel said, “Cassian”, just as Cassian said, “Rhys.”
Rhysand raised his brows.
“What?” Cassian asked, at his surprised expression. “At least my wife didn’t threaten my balls. Not while she was in labor, anyway.”
Azriel chuckled, taking a step toward the cooler and stumbling. He grabbed onto the side to steady himself.
Cassian and Rhysand were laughing, shaking their heads.
“Drunk at noon?” Cassian crooned. “Naughty daddy.”
Azriel flipped them both off and flopped onto one of the benches.
“Back to the kids?” Rhys asked, as Cassian sat in the captain's chair.
“And our lovely wives.” Cassian winked and fired the boat back up.
When Rhys walked in the back door, he found Nesta, Feyre and Elain sitting at the kitchen table, playing cards. Elain was nursing Lannan and Feyre and Nesta were shit talking each other.
Rhys announced, “It’s way too quiet in here. I’m worried, where are the kids?”
“Off setting fires and causing property damage.” Nesta didn’t even look up from the cards in her hand.
Rhys said, “I need to know where all the kids are, not just yours.”
Nesta gave him a venomous look before looking back down to her cards. “Feyre, control your husband.”
“Speaking of husbands, where’re the other two?” Feyre asked, eyeing Rhys suspiciously. “Did you push them into the lake and drive away again?”
“No,” Rhysand sighed. “Although tempting. No, Cass is helping Az up the hill.”
Elain blinked. “And why would he need help up the hill?”
“Shitty whiskey,” Rhysand explained, and it was all she needed to know.
Groaning, Elain looked up at the clock. “It’s not even three yet, damn it.”
Rhysand raised his brows. It was rare that Elain cursed.
Feyre chuckled, but Nesta was shaking her head.
“I blame Feyre for letting you three idiots go out together,” she muttered.
“You’re just saying that because you’re losing,” Feyre crooned. “Your turn, bitch.”
Nesta’s jaw locked as she looked back down at her hand. The sliding door opened, once more, and Cassian came in, Azriel just behind with a sloppy grin and droopy eyelids. He caught sight of Elain and Lannan and threw a dramatic hand over his chest. “My wife, hi, hello, you’re so pretty.”
“And that’s my cue to put him down for a nap,” Elain said, standing and taking Azriel’s hand.
“Lanny doesn’t need a nap, he’s wide awake,” Az said, dropping a kiss to her shoulder.
She rolled her eyes and they headed for the hallway. “I’m not talking about Lannan, I’m talking about you.”
Their voices retreated down the hall and their door clicked shut.
Cassian sat in the seat Elain had just vacated next to his wife. He leaned down and pressed a kiss to her stomach. “Az isn’t even that drunk,” he said with a laugh. “He just wanted an excuse to get her in the bedroom.”
Nesta and Feyre rolled their eyes and Rhys just shook his head and he made his way toward the fridge.
“Okay, but where are the kids?” Rhys asked again. “I’m starting to think you really did release them somewhere to wreak havoc.”
“Playing hide and seek,” Nesta replied coolly, not looking up from her cards as she adjusted her hand.
“Have they been hiding the whole time we’ve been back?” Rhys asked, pulling a water bottle out of the fridge. “Who’s it?”
“I am,” Nesta said, laying a card down and drawing another from the pile.
“Inspiring,” Cassian said, tossing his arm around the back of Nesta’s chair. “Your wickedness makes me love you even more.”
“I seriously worry what goes on in your house,” Rhysand muttered, sitting next to Feyre and peeking at her cards.
Nesta snorted as footsteps approached. Thorn appeared, arms crossed, brows furrowed, looking like a tiny little angry Cassian.
Nesta stilled as she locked eyes with her oldest child.
“You’re gonna get it,” Cassian sang, under his breath.
“We’ve been waiting forever, mom,” Thorn said, with a sassy emphasis on mom.
“I forgot,” Nesta said simply. “Come forget with me. You can help me kick Aunt Feyre’s ass.”
She winked, patting the chair next to hers. Thorn’s anger faded and a grin spread across his face as he plopped in the chair.
The others didn’t realize that they were being tricked into quiet time for another thirty minutes.
And when quiet time was over, it was over.
All of the kids trickled into the living room and kitchen one by one, until just John was left hiding.
“You’re the one who said you’d go and find him,” Cassian said, when Nesta asked him to get their youngest. He was stretched out on the couch, tv remote in hand. He, Rhys, Azriel, and Elain watching a hockey game, elated that the Terrasen Staghorns were sweeping the Valg off their asses.
Nesta stood with her hands on her hips. “Seriously?”
“It was your idea, Nes…” Elain said, hiding behind her glass of wine.
Her lips tightened as she cursed them all, trailing through the house, waddling with her hands on her bump. She checked in all the kids rooms before going into her and Cassian's room, where a little huddled bump laid in the middle of their bed, beneath the blanket.
“Oh, goodness,” Nesta began, loudly and dramatically. “It doesn’t look like there’s anyone in here.”
The little bump on the bed fidgeted.
“I guess I’ll just take a little nap, since I’m here,” Nesta said, walking to the bed and sitting on the edge. “I’m just gonna fall back now, in the middle of the bed.”
The little bump started to giggle.
“Here I go,” Nesta sang, starting to tip backward.
John threw the blanket off of him and laughed. “No!”
Nesta’s eyes softened at her little one as he jumped up on the bed.
“It took forever for you to find me, mama, I hid good!”
“Yes, my love, you did,” she answered, holding out her arms.
John threw his arms around his mama’s neck, gently, and yawned. “Did you find everybody?”
“I did,” she said. “You were the hardest to find.”
“That means I win,” John said, matter-of-factly.
“Yes, it does.” Nesta said, and she brushed John’s curls out his eyes. “Are you sleepy?”
John nodded, rubbing his eyes. The move was so much like Cassian that she couldn’t help but smile. “Do you want to take a nap in mama and daddy’s bed?”
He nodded again, but said, “Can you stay with me, please?”
Nesta’s heart broke. The closer and closer Scarlett’s due date came, the more she worried about John. Her youngest wasn’t going to be her youngest anymore and having to share the attention with Thorn was bad enough already.
“Of course, I will, sweetie.” Nesta laid back on the bed and John wiggled in next to her.
“Mama, can sissy hear me in your tummy?”
“Yes, of course,” Nesta said, surprised by the question. “Is there something you wanna tell her?”
“Hmmm.” John took a minute to think about it. Then, he leaned down to Nesta’s belly and said, “I’m excited to see you. We can play superheroes together.”
Nesta laughed, quietly, brushing John’s dark hair out of his face. “You’re going to be such a good big brother.”
He fell asleep almost immediately, his little arm wrapped as far around her belly as it could. His cheek was pressed against it, and Nesta couldn’t help but realize that her baby, her sweet, little Johnny, was growing up.
She carefully wiggled her phone from her pocket and snapped a picture, sending it to Cassian. A few seconds later, the door cracked open and he slipped in.
“He must not have had a nap earlier.” Cass said, opening the dresser and pulling out a pair of boxers and a tank top before heading into the bathroom. He added, “Cause that’s a hard sleep face.”
Nesta chuckled, looking down  and seeing how his mouth had fallen open. She softly brushed his hair back, off his face. “Before he fell asleep, he told Scar that he can’t wait for her to be here and that they’re going to play superheroes together.”
Cassian came back into the bedroom, wearing the boxers, rather than his trunks and grabbed a pair of basketball shorts out of the duffle on the floor. His eyes were soft as he carefully sat on the side of the bed. He took in how John clung to Nesta in his sleep. “Only a couple more weeks and he won’t be the baby anymore.”
“No,” she said, shaking her head. She hadn’t taken her eyes off of his sweet, sleeping face. “But he’ll always be my baby.”
Cassian’s smile grew as he leaned down to press his lips to Nesta’s forehead. “Mama's boy.”
Thorn had always been a daddy’s boy, even though he loved his mama endlessly. But John? He was a mama's boy, through and through.
“We’re going to play some backyard games before dinner,” Cassian said. “Coming to join or taking a rest?”
She looked back down at John, sleeping peacefully, then back up to her husband. “I’ll stay here. I’m gonna let my baby be the baby one last time.”
Cassian smiled and kissed her softly. “Okay, sweetheart. Call me if you need anything.”
Nesta nodded and settled back into the pillows, not quite able to get comfortable at this point, but doing her best anyways. Cassian quietly closed the door and headed back to the living room.
A sudden pang jabbed into Nesta’s side, and she clenched her teeth as she halted her fingers, rubbing along John’s little back. It faded fairly quickly, and Nesta would’ve brushed it aside if it hadn’t returned ten minutes later. It wasn’t alarming, of course, being so far apart. But being out in the middle of nowhere, being so far from the hospital at the lake, suddenly dawned on her. A slow panic began to creep into the pit of her stomach. If she were to go into labor at the lake house, would she have enough time to make it to the hospital?
She had an epidural when she had Thorn, and when she’d had John, she’d arrived at the hospital too late, but at least the doctor was there to walk her through it.
Ten minutes later, the pain in her lower abdomen returned, and the panic settled in.
Don’t, she warned herself. There was no room for panic. She may very well not be going into labor any time soon, any way. She had weeks yet.
And yet, she had been through childbirth twice and she knew the signs.
She pulled out her phone and texted Cassian, COME.
~
Cassian and Rhys were in a heated debate about whether or not Feyre’s touchdown was legal. She’d been home free, save for her husband blocking the end zone and she’d slowed until she stood in front of him.
“Let me score and you will too tonight.”
He chuckled. “Don’t act like I won’t anyway.”
She pursed her lips. “True. Fine, you can do anything you want to me tonight.”
Rhysand sat his ass right down in the grass and watched his wife walk the football into the end zone for a touchdown.
Cass cried, “Oh, that’s bullshit! What am I supposed to do, offer to blow Az?”
Luna yelled, “Uncle Cass, language!” at the same time her mother said, “Too far, Cass!”
Azriel raised his hand. “Uh, no, thank you, I’ll pass.”
Livy ran over from where she and Lily had been watching YouTube videos on Cassian’s phone. “Uncle Cassi, you got a text message from Aunt Nessa.”
Cassian was still glaring at Rhysand as he took his phone from his niece and opened up his messages. Then, he stilled, and in return, the other adults looked at him with confusion and concern.
“Everything okay?” Feyre asked, but Cassian was already hurrying up the back porch steps, two at a time. After throwing open the sliding door, he ran down the hall to he and Nesta’s bedroom, but when he opened the door, Nesta was holding her finger to her lips to warn him to be quiet. John was still fast asleep, draped over her tummy.
“What happened?” Cassian whispered, kneeling next to her by the side of the bed. “You alright?”
“Contractions,” she said.
Cassian nodded, slowly, taking a deep breath as he did so. “Alright, do we need to go to the hospital?”
She shook her head. “Too far apart, for now. But, I’m sure by tonight, or by morning, at the latest, we’ll need to go.” It was nearly an hour to her doctor’s office, to the hospital she was scheduled to deliver at.
Cassian’s smile grew, wide but soft, as he took Nesta’s hand in his and pressed his lips against her fingers. “I’ll go let the others know, then, and talk to Thorn. Text me if they get worse before I’m back or if you need anything.”
“Okay,” she breathed, and a look of discomfort contorted her face as another contraction began. Short, nothing too bad, but it never felt good. Once it passed, Cassian’s lips found hers and then he was on his feet, padding back toward the back deck.
He headed out the sliding door, finding everyone huddled together. At the sound of the door, everyone turned.
Elain asked, “What’s going on? Is Nesta okay?”
Cassian caught sight of Thorn, surrounded by his cousins, and could see the fear on his face. He smiled, wanting to shout from the rooftops, but knew that he couldn’t. Not quite yet.
“She’s fine. Feyre, why don’t you show the kids how to play freeze tag like we used when we were little?” He asked, making his way down the steps. “Thorn, come here, buddy.”
He stepped out of the group and he and Cassian walked down towards the water, leaving the rest of the kids behind.
“Is mama okay?” He asked, sitting down on the dock.
Cassian sat next to him, ruffling his long hair. “She’s just fine, bud, but guess what?”
“Hmm?” He asked, kicking the water beneath them, not looking up at his father.
“Are you ready to meet Scarlett?”
His head snapped up. “Are you serious?”
Cassian couldn’t stop his smile as a grin formed in his oldest son’s face. “I’m serious.”
“Mama’s having the baby?” He asked.
He stood and held out a hand to help him up. “She is.” Thorn jumped to his feet and hugged his father, who chuckled and hugged him back. “We gotta keep it quiet though. Mama doesn’t need a lot of excitement. I’m gonna tell your aunts and uncles, but you can’t tell your cousins yet, okay?”
Thorn nodded excitedly. “She’ll be here tonight?”
Cassian shook his head. “Probably not, bud. Remember how quick John got here after we got to the hospital?” He nodded again. “Well you took over a full day to get here. Nobody but Scarlett knows when she’ll be ready to come out. But mama and dad are pros at this by now, so we’re ready. Are you ready?”
“Yes, yes, yes!” He wrapped his arms around his father’s waist.
Cass bent down. “You and John are gonna have to go stay with Aunt Feyre and Uncle Rhys for a few days, okay? You can be at the hospital with us some during the day, but you’ll need to stay the night with them.”
Thorn nodded. “Okay.”
“Alright,” Cassian said, kissing the top of Thorn’s head before he stood, and walked back up toward the others. Thorn rejoined his cousins, bouncing with excitement, as Cassian joined Azriel, Rhysand, and Elain on the porch. Feyre was hurrying their direction a second later, and when she arrived, and they were all huddled together as the kids played, Cassian said, “Contractions have started. So, either tonight or in the morning, I’ll have to take Nesta to the hospital.”
Quiet excitement went around the circle as they worked out the details of Thorn and John. Rhysand and Feyre would take them home with them and, once they got word, Feyre would bring the boys to the hospital to meet their baby sister.
“I have to pack up our shit to be ready,” Cassian said, thinking out loud. “And a sandwich wouldn’t hurt, I’m starving.”
Elain rolled her eyes, fondly. “I’ll make you a sandwich, go pack.”
“This is why you’re my favorite sister-in-law,” Cassian winked, as Elain walked toward the sliding door.
“Prick,” Feyre mumbled.
Cassian chuckled as he pulled his phone out of his pocket, to find a text from Nesta that read, They’re coming 8 minutes apart. We need to leave here at seven minutes apart.
“Looks like we’re leaving tonight,” Cassian said, shoving his phone back into his pocket.
“How far apart?” Feyre asked.
“Eight minutes.” Cassian said. “I need to go pack. Get the bags. Throw them in the truck-.” He froze. “Rhys, I need you to drive my truck home, and I need yours.”
Confusion was written on his face as he said, “Okay, that’s fine. Why?”
Cassian pointed behind them all.
They turned, looking to where the boat was still tied up to the dock.
Rhys turned back and nodded. “Yep, that’s fine. Keys are hanging by the garage door.”
“Great,” Cassian breathed, trying to tally up what needed to be done before they had to leave, which could be in thirty minutes or a few hours.
“Take a breath,” Feyre said, laughing quietly. “You’ve done this twice now, you’re a pro.”
It’s what he’d said to Thorn, too, but nerves still settled in the pit of his stomach, and he wasn’t even the one preparing to push a baby out of him.
“Alright.” He nodded, as Feyre kissed Cassian on the cheek and started to walk toward the sliding glass door.
“I’ll help you pack,” she said, over her shoulder. “Elain’s making you food for fuel. Baby,” she said, pointing at Rhys, “you and Az watch the kids.” She opened the door. “Cass, deep breaths and go to your wife.”
And she was gone.
Cassian stopped by the laundry room, grabbing the “Go Bags” they’d brought, just in case, and quickly went through them, making sure everything they needed for a newborn was in the first and he and Nesta’s essentials in the second. He shoved them both into the duffle he’d left above the washer and was headed for their bedroom when he heard, “Daddy?”
He turned and found John sleepily coming out of bathroom. “Hey, bubba.” He picked him up. “Did you have a good nap?” He nodded, burying his face into Cassian’s neck. “Where’s mama?”
He pointed to their room. “She’s breaking the rules.”
Cassian asked, “What rules, buddy?”
John said, “She’s got the door locked.”
Cassian’s blood ran cold.
“Buddy, go head outside and play with Uncle Rhys and Uncle Az, okay?”
John nodded and wiggled to be put down. He ran out the sliding door and Cassian left the duffle on the floor and rushed for his and Nesta’s room. He tentatively knocked on the door. “Nes? You okay?”
“Yeah,” she said, but the word was short, snappy. “We - we need to go, though.”
“Shit,” Cassian said, jiggling the doorknob. “Let me in, please.”
The door unlocked and Cassian threw it open. Nesta was sitting on the closed toilet, taking deep breaths.
“I didn’t want John seeing mama in pain,” Nesta explained. “And we all know how he likes to walk in on me in the bathroom.”
Cassian chuckled, kneeling on the cool tile before his wife. “Getting closer together?”
Nesta nodded. “It’s a long drive. I have a feeling baby girl wants to get the hell out of here. She’s impatient, I think, just like her daddy.”
Cassian barked a laugh. “I think you mean like her mommy.”
Nesta rolled her eyes. “I’m the one about to give birth, what I say goes.”
“You’re right,” Cassian said, quietly, giving her a kiss before standing and helping her up. “Alright, let’s tell the kids goodbye and I’ll load up the truck.”
He began to throw their belongings in the open duffle bag on the bed while Nesta changed and got ready to leave. He hollered into the bathroom, “I’m gonna go throw everything in the truck. I’ll be right back, okay?”
Her response was strained. “Grab my purse off the counter, please!”
“Another one?” He asked, hefting the bag up onto his shoulder.
“Yeah,” she bit out.
He hesitated. “Do you need me? Are you timing-.”
“Of course, I’m fucking timing them. I’ve already had two of your demon spawn. I know how to do this.”
He rolled his eyes as he left the room, mumbling something about how pleasant his wife was.
He found Rhysand’s keys on the hook, right where he said they’d be, and was pressing the unlock button on the remote profusely as he hurried outside. After throwing the duffle bag in the backseat, he froze.
They didn’t have the carseat.
They didn’t have Scarlett’s carseat.
It was at home, sitting in their mudroom. He’d figure that out later, though. Maybe Feyre would stop by and get it on her way with the boys, after baby girl was born.
But for some reason, the absence of Scarlett’s carseat was Cassian’s undoing.
This was it.
The moment.
They were about to be parents of three.
Cassian was about to be a girl-dad.
They were about to go from two kids, to three.
He braced a hand on the car door and took a second to breathe.
“Cass?”
He turned and found Rhys standing in the doorway. “You good, man?”
He nodded and wiped his face, not surprised to have moisture on his fingers. “I just, uh, I realized we don’t have Scar’s carseat and then I realized that it’s happening. That this is real and Nesta is in labor and that soon, I’ll be able to hold my baby girl.”
Rhys smiled and made his way down the garage stairs. He hugged Cassian and patted his back. “There’s no fucking feeling like it man. I’m so, so happy for you.”
He sniffled. “Thanks. If you tell a single soul in that house, particularly my wife, that I cried, I’ll deny everything and then I’ll kick your ass.”
Rhys laughed and said, “That’s a risk I’m willing to take.”
Cass just shook his head.
The two were quiet for a minute, until Cassian broke the stillness. “How did you handle it, getting outnumbered by your children.”
Rhys whistled, walking over and leaning on his truck next to Cass. “Well, I mean, our situation was a little different. We were only intending to add one to our family. The second one was a surprise, but she’s the best damn surprise we’ve ever gotten.” He rubbed the back of his neck and sighed. “I’m not going to lie to you, it’s extremely overwhelming. You suddenly don’t have enough arms anymore and simple things like going out to eat are about to become a challenge. But you have a perk that we didn’t have.”
Cassian waited. “Which is?”
Rhys smiled and said, “A mature, responsible son who would do anything to take care of his baby sister. Bennett was only John’s age when Feyre had the girls. He couldn’t help with anything because there were days he was still a baby himself.”
Cass was shaking his head. “I don’t want to put that kind of thing on him. He’s just a kid.”
Rhys scoffed. “He’s not just a kid, he’s your kid. And believe me, he’s going to be putty in Scarlett’s little hands.”
It was true. Thorn was wild and mischievous, but he also had the biggest heart out of anyone Cassian had ever known, and he was so damn proud of that. He would be a great big brother.
After clearing his throat, and punching Rhysand in the arm to relieve some of the sappiness from the conversation, Cassian was hurrying back into the house, where he found his wife, in the kitchen, being hugged by both of her sisters. Cassian slowed, reminding himself that he was allowed to slow down.
The kids were still outside with Azriel, all but John who was sitting in the kitchen eating a post-nap snack of apple slices and pretzels.
“Thorn!” Cassian called out the backdoor. He motioned for his oldest to come inside. A minute later, he was hurrying through the door, stealing an apple slice off of John’s plate, and running into Nesta’s arms.
“Are you leaving?” he asked.
Pain contorted Nesta’s face as she patted Thorn’s head.
“Yeah, buddy,” Cassian said, so Nesta wouldn’t have to. “You guys keep having fun and tomorrow you’ll go home with Aunt Feyre and Uncle Rhys. Okay? Call me before bed.”
John nodded, still too young to know what was fully going on, just as Thorn was when John was born. But, Thorn was smiling broadly as he let go of his mom, and hugged his dad.
“Proud of you,” Cassian muttered, kissing the top of his head, his mess of dark, curly hair.
“Love you, dad,” he said, tightening his little arms as much as he could.
“I love you, bud,” he said, push that messy hair back. “Now go out there and tell your cousins the exciting news, okay?”
“Okay!” He said, turning for the day.
“I wanna help!” John cried, wiggling down from his seat. He ran towards Thorn and held out his hand.
Usually, Thorn would run right by him, sometimes going as far as to even stick out his tongue or shove him in true big brother fashion. Instead, Thorn slowed to a stop, took his brother’s hand, and led him to the door.
Cassian felt something brush his fingertips and when he turned, Nesta was there, watching their boys, silver lining her eyes.
“We’ve got some good ones, don’t we?” She asked.
“Yes, we do,” he said, pulling her into his side and kissing her head. She looked up at him and kissed him. He smiled and asked, “Ready to go have a baby?”
“Fuck yeah,” she muttered, grinning, waddling toward the door. “Now get me in the truck before another contraction comes, please.”
The whirlwind began.
“Let us know how it’s going when you get settled in,” Feyre said. “I’ll have them facetime before John goes to bed.”
Azriel was stepping in through the backdoor, the kids running around excitedly in the backyard. “Got everything?”
Cassian nodded as Nesta opened the front door. “I think so, yeah.”
“Be nice to my truck,” Rhysand mumbled, earning a jab in the ribs from his wife.
Then, a teary-eyed Elain, Lannan strapped to her chest, was standing in front of Cassian, holding up a bag full of sandwiches, chips, and apple slices. “I made you extra.”
Cassian’s grin widened as he took her face into his hands and kissed her forehead. “Favorite sister-in-law.”
“Prick!” Feyre called after him, tone laced with fondness, as he took the bag and followed his wife out the door. After one final, quick round of goodbyes, Cassian was helping Nesta into the passenger side of the truck. The moment she sat, her eyes were closing and her teeth were clenched.
“Fuck,” she breathed.
“Alright, we’re going,” Cassian promised, shutting her door and climbing up behind the wheel. “Hang in there, mama, it’s going to be a long drive.”
“You’re not helpful,” she mumbled, bracing herself.
Cassian chuckled and he started the truck.

The First Order Is Going Camping
chapter 31 of So Happy Together
chapter 30: https://mysteryofren.tumblr.com/post/619884938162995200/meet-my-brother
note: i finally got it out i had so much fun at my protest yesterday and i cant wait for yall to read this chapter bc we get to see everyone act like kids and reader has a little interaction with someone special!!
“What's wrong?” you ran over to Hux while he was sitting on the table when you noticed what he had in his other hand.
“I didnt know you smoked.” you said looking at the cigarette he held. He snuffed it out on the bottom of his shoe, and threw it to the ground. You heard his sniffles as he tried to clear his nose up.
“Nobody knows. I started when I was 13. I stole one of my fathers, and I've been hooked to it ever since.” He sighed and you sat next to him. Taking him into your arms you asked him what was wrong again.
“Phasmas right. What if the first order doesn't make it through college?” He said through his tears.
“We’ll make it. We love each other too much to not make it.” just then another clap of thunder was heard over your voice.
“I just don't want to lose you all. You’re the closest thing I have to a family.”
“Yeah but Hux we still have holidays.”
“Phasmas family is in California, Matt and Elaine live far away. You and I are the only ones who live in Tatooine.” he said
“Well technically I live in Mos Eisley since that's where my parents are.” he looked at you with a sad, and scared look on his face.
“If it helps I’ll end up living here with pop pop.” you said trying to comfort him. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his carton of cigarettes. Out of everything you’ve heard of Hux doing smoking was the one thing you never expected. It made sense, but you still never thought he would. You leaned your head against his shoulder and stared out into the forest. It was dark. Really dark. More so than usual with the rain coming.
You thought for a second while you heard the sound of him taking a drag. He was scared. The great Armitage Hux was terrified of the thought that he may lose his friends. You’ve known him for so long, but you only just got to really know him. Before you had only known the basics about him. Now you knew who he really was. What he feared. What he stood for. What he loved. You learned he wasn't just another Hux. He stood out from the rest of the Hux family. He was Armitage. He was better than any Hux there was. Part of you wonders if he even wants to be a Hux. you decided to take a risk and ask a question you've always wanted to ask.
“Why do you hate your name?” he released the smoke from his lungs, and placed a hand on your knee.
“My mother loved it. My real mother. My father raised me to think she was a good for nothing whore. He told me how much he hated the name, and wished she had never chosen it. Part of me hates it because he does.”
“And the other part of you?”
“The other part of me likes it, because it's one of the few things of hers that I have. I wish I had met her. Known her. but I don't even know where to look for her.”
“Maybe you should try. It would be worth a shot. I mean someone has to know who she is.”
Just then the back door opened. He quickly put the cigarette out under his shoe again and threw it to the ground.
“We thought we saw you guys out here.” Matt said. He came around to you guys, and you saw him hand in hand with Elaine.
“What's wrong red? You look like hell.” Elaine asked. He simply smiled, and opened his arms for her to hug him. She let go of Matts hand and walked into his arms.
“You know I'm going to miss you calling me red when I'm off at college.”
“You’ll always be red to me.” she pulled away and messed up his hair before going back to Matt. you all started talking again when the back door opened once more.
“What are we all doing out here?” Phasma asked.
“Just talking.” you wrapped one of your arms around Hux, and lifted your head up.
“Well since we are all here why don't we take a vote on the last day's activities.”  Hux suggested.
“Great idea!” Phasma exclaimed. “Ok so all in favor of going skating, then camping for the last days hang out raise your hand.”
You raised your hand along with everyone else in the group. It was clear this was the only choice.
“Then it's settled. The first order is going camping.” you all cheered and laughed when you felt something fall on your face. It was a single drop of rain. Almost instantly it began pouring and you all were getting soaked. Hux gasped as the rain came down. Surprisingly the rain washed out the product from his hair, and it flopped over his face. You laughed at the sight, and ran your fingers through the red strands. Matt started running around letting the rain wash over his body. Elaine did the same as they chased each other and played.
You got up from your spot next to Hux and joined them. After a minute you decided to stop, and you reached your hands out to him and Phasma. They both took your hands, and you dragged them along with you so you all could mess around. You all ran around, and played for only a few minutes before you heard your name get called out. You turned to the door, and saw your parents standing at the door. Everyone was looking outside at all 5 of you. Through heavy breaths you stared at them before your grandfather pushed past them. He slowly walked out into the rain too.
“Let them be kids.” he said before pushing them back inside. You smiled at him through the window, and you all continued playing as the storm raged on. You heard thunder, and soon a bolt of lightning lit up the sky. Matt had tackled Hux and they played on the ground. Gideon finally found some energy, and started playing with you guys too. You felt like the kid you never got to be. Elaine, and you chased the boys before she tripped and fell in the grass. You joined her wanting to make as big of a mess as you could. Phasma and the boys soon joined you on the ground. You all held hands as the rain came down on you guys. Gideon had enough after a few minutes and sat by the door.
The cold from the rain was finally settling into your bones, but you didn't care. You were having so much fun with them. It wasn't until an hour after you all started playing that your grandfather walked out with an umbrella. He looked down at you all on the ground. You all were laughing, and holding hands. He smiled at the image.
“As much as I hate to ruin your fun, you all will catch your deaths out here.” he held his hand out to you, and helped you up. You all walked in where he had towels sitting for you all.
“I got clothes you guys can wear.” You said to Phasma, and Elaine.
“And I too, have some clothing you boys can wear.” your Grandfather said. you all went up stairs, and you took the girls to your room to change. The boys went off with your grandfather, and you and the girls started getting changed. You gathered up all their clothes, to take them to wash. On your way to the washroom you stopped at your grandfather's door and knocked. The door opened, and behind your grandfather you saw Hux, and Matt changing.
“Can I get their clothes so I can wash them?” you asked. He smiled, and closed the door, opening it again with a ball of wet clothes in his hand.
You walked downstairs to get to the laundry room, and while passing a window you notice it's still raining, and hard too. When you finally get to the laundry room you see Gideon sitting.your grandfather must have put him there to dry off. Quickly you stick everything in the washer, and start the load. After you grab one of the towels from the basket sitting on the dryer, and begin to dry the old dog. He lets out a low groan as you begin to rub him down all over. You make sure to get his paws really good so he can't track mud into the house. Once you stop drying him he gives off a sad whimper. You took that as him not wanting you to stop. You sit down, and he puts his head in your lap. While petting him you decided to talk to him.
“I don't know what i'm gonna do. What happens after they leave us huh?” grabbing his muzzle you bring his face to eye level with yours and give his nose a kiss.
“On top of that, the whole Ben thing hasn't gotten better. Rey wasn't at graduation so I talked to him like a supreme dumbass. I mean I know she didn't want to walk, but she didn't even show up to see him walk. Do you think somethings wrong?” he gives you another groan as a response.
“Yeah. I should text her.” without any hesitation you bring your phone out, and look for her number. Staring at it you wonder if you should bother. If she didn't show up that must mean something, right? Something could also be wrong. The sound of you typing fills the small room you and Gideon sat in.
‘Hey! You weren't at graduation today, Elaine was really looking forward to you being at her party, and I thought for sure you would be there for Ben. I hope everythings alright. Call me? Let me know you’re okay.’ putting the phone to your side you continue to pet Gideon. About 5 minutes later your phone lights up. The photo on the screen was you, and Rey at Amilyns which let you know who was calling.
“Rey! What's wrong? Is everything okay?” you said upon picking up.
“Yeah everything's fine.” her voice hinted otherwise.
“I can tell it's not. Talk to me Rey, I'm worried.”
She stayed silent. Anxiety ran through your body as you wondered what could have been wrong.
“We broke up. 2 days ago.”
“Oh Rey. i'm so sorry. Do you want to hang out? We can do something to take your mind off of it.”
“No need, I left town.”
“You what? Where are you? Are you okay?”
“Im fine, I'm with Finn and Poe. Were in Jakku since festival season is about to start.”
“Will you be back in time for Yale?”
“Of course I will. I just can't be in that town right now. Not with him roaming around.”
“I'm so sorry Rey. if there's anything you want me to do please let me know.”
“I will.” Neither of you said anything, but stayed on the phone when you finally decided to say goodbye.
“Before you go..” she said
“Yeah what's up?”
“I love you. I never said it before, but I should have. You're a good friend.”
“I love you too Rey.” after the words left your mouth you heard the sound of her hanging up.
They were done. Really done. What happened between them? There were A LOT of problems, but you never would have thought they would break up. You leaned your head against the washer, and wondered how it could have gone down. Did he dump her? Did she dump him? Was it mutual? The questions raced through your mind, and you figured she would tell you when she's ready.
“Guess everyones leaving buddy.” Gideon responded by licking your face. You didn't even get to say goodbye to her. She just. Left. Maybe it was for the best. Maybe had she stayed things would've gotten worse between Ben, and her. Slowly you got up from where you were with Gideon, and went back to hang out with everyone. You saw Matt, and Hux had changed. Hux fit into your grandfather's clothes well. Matt on the other hand was much bigger. It looked like he was wearing kids clothes almost.
You stayed back not wanting to get caught up in the crowd. Soon you felt like someone else was with you. The older man stood next to you as you both watched the party from a distance.
“I don't like things like this either kid.”
“I know. It seems like no matter what kind of party it is we always end up this way.” you looked up, and Han smiled at you.
“Ya know I always liked you. You always had this lively energy to you that none of us have. It was always refreshing to have around at those stupid parties.”
“Thanks Han.” You look over to another corner, and see Kylo, and Ben talking.
“So what's the deal with Kylo? He seems. Odd.”
“He's a good kid. Studying journalism. He’s in one of those stupid biker gangs.”  you let out a laugh when he said that.
“Really? A biker gang?”
“Yup. The knights of Ren. Dumbest name I've ever heard.”
“I only had like a minute long conversation with him, but I can tell he takes after you.
“What gave you that idea?” he asked while taking a drink from the cup in his hand.
“Well the first thing he did when I met him was try to embarrass Ben. Also Matt, and Ben are so much like Leia. I mean one of em has to be like you. My guess would be the one who's using his time to travel in a biker gang.”
“Good guess. Leia thinks it's why we don't get along.”
“You guys don't get along?”
“No. ever since he was 15 it felt like we were constantly at war with each other.”
“Never too late to change that.”
“I guess kid.” Leia looked over to you two, and he gave her a wink, and a smile.
“Let's get back before we get dragged back.” He walked off, and made his way over to where Leia and your parents were. You watched as he awkwardly interacted with your dad. Guess he was right. It's better to go back now than have someone look for you. You walked out from the room you both were in, and looked around. Elaine was introducing Matt to more of her family. They looked so happy. He kept staring at her with nothing but absolute love in his eyes. He finally had the girl he had been after for years.
Hux, Phasma, and your grandfather were talking with Elaine's parents. You just wish Rey was here. She had become almost an unofficial member of the first order. She would have loved this. She loved parties. Now she's in the wasteland that is Jakku with a broken heart. The only thing making you feel better about it was that Finn, and Poe had gone with her. You decide to go where your grandfather was. You walk over, and listen to the conversation they were having. Absentmindedly you stared off. Not looking at anything particular, just staring. You realized you were staring at Ben. How was he doing with the break up? Was he hurting? Or was he glad it was over? You watched as he and Kylo talked. They must be close. Closer than Matt, and Ben were. You never really saw Ben and Matt hang out. Matt was always with you guys, and Ben had always been with Rey, or Finn, or Poe. Kylo looked over to you, and smiled weakly. You smiled back, and he winked at you without Ben noticing. He was like Han.

Moe’s ACOTAR December One-Shots #1 - Nessian in the Snow
Every other day in December I’m going to be posting a Christmas/winter themed one-shot for either Elriel, Feysand, or Nessian. They’ll be tagged under “moes winter writing” so make sure to check all of them out.
Almost all of these prompts are directly from or variations of this post.
Please like and reblog!
Moe’s Christmas One-Shot Number One:
Nessian -  “I know we hate each other but it’s Christmas Eve and your flight was cancelled please come inside”
Nesta was in her happy place.
Once when she and Feyre were having one of their legendary screaming matches in their high school years, Feyre had screamed at Nesta that she “enjoyed making herself miserable because it was easier than being jealous of everyone else’s happiness.” Nesta had thought that that sentence was genuinely the stupidest thing and made zero sense and Feyre had tackled her when she said as much. The sisters still fought, but age had made them less inclined to say such cutting words or resort to pummeling each other.
But part of what Feyre had said had always lingered in Nesta’s brain. Did she enjoy making herself miserable? Was that easier than trying to attain happiness when it could all be ripped away in a second when someone decided to leave like they always did?
Maybe she did. And maybe that was okay. But for now at least, in this bright beautiful moment of solitude, she was in her happy place.
The snow fell gently outside, the moon illuminating the quiet suburban street with a glow that was … magical. Nesta was no sentimentalist, but there was no other word for it. The night was positively magical — between the moon and the stars and the snow, she could almost taste it.
Snow was Nesta’s favorite. Feyre wasn’t particularly fond of the cold and Elain always complained about her flowers not blooming in the wintertime, but Nesta thrived during this season. She never took the insults about having “such a cold heart” too seriously considering it was the cold made her feel positively alive.
And to top it all off, it was Christmas Eve. The gift-giving part of Christmas had never particularly been Nesta’s favorite — there was too much pressure on gift exchanges as an adult — but the decorations and the music and the lights and smells and foods … positively magical.
Nesta had no delusions about her personality, she knew she wasn’t an easy person that didn’t take as much joy out of life as others did. But standing out in her front yard, fifteen minutes till midnight on Christmas Eve, not a soul in sight as the snow fell gently around her in silence …
Nesta was in her happy place, and nothing — nothing — could ruin that for her.
“Shit — fuck — dammit all to hell!”
Nesta deflated, the soft corners of her lips dropping into a scowl immediately. Her chin went from being tilted up to the night sky to almost touching her collarbone.
Turns out there was someone who could ruin her happy place after all.
Nesta’s blood began to boil as the magic around her shattered, replaced with irritation that ran through her like a lightning bolt. She wouldn’t have been surprised if the snow around her had turned to steam — that’s how mad she was.
“That asshole is supposed to be gone,” Nesta seethed, turning on her heel and stomping around the side of her house to the back where her incredibly annoying brute of a neighbor was disturbing her happy place and ruining her snow moment dammit.
“I told Az to replace the spare key — did he replace the spare key? No, he didn’t, and who is surprised? Nobody! That’s the fuck who!”
Nesta could feel the blood rushing to her face and ears, her teeth grinding as she saw him standing on his porch, fiddling with his front door.
Cassian. Even his name annoyed her. His shoulder length hair and heavy black pea coat were covered in snow, and his broad shoulders were turned just enough that she could see his hands shaking sans gloves as he pulled his phone out of his pocket and uselessly pressed the power button over and over again.
He roared out a few more choice curse words before turning on his heel and hurling the dead phone.
It landed right in front of Nesta’s feet, flinging snow up on the front of her snowman pajama pants.
“Oh,” Cassian said, his shoulders relaxing and his eyes widening at the sight of Nesta standing at the edge of his front yard. If she hadn’t been so spitting mad at him in that moment, she might have appreciated the bewildered expression on his annoyingly perfect face. “Nesta.”
“Oh, Cassian,” she mocked. “Aren’t you supposed to be on a flight to the other side of the country and not disturbing my peaceful snowy Christmas Eve?!”
And just like that, his fire that always matched hers so well came roaring to the surface, wiping away that look of bewilderment and … adoration? No it couldn’t be … right off of his face.
“Well excuse me, princess!” he shouted right back, bounding down the steps to the snow covered grass and sauntering towards her. “I didn’t realize my cancelled flight was going to be such an imposition on you!”
Nesta could feel the blood pounding in her head as he got closer, that lovely sound of fresh snow crunching beneath his feet tainted by his sarcasm. Oh and damn him for looking so nice, his hazel eyes especially bright as the snow gleamed between them.
“Oh your flight was cancelled?” she spat, “That’s too bad, I would feel sorry for you if you weren’t such a big oaf cursing in the middle of the night while the snow is falling magically!”
She knew she looked ridiculous standing there in her red snowman pajamas with a matching beanie and a heavy green robe. She knew she was fighting a battle nobody would win — nobody ever won in their screaming matches, except maybe her migraines.
But he infuriated her beyond reason. They had been living next to each other for a little over a year and ever since he and his stupid brother-friend-fellow-idiot Rhys (who happened to be dating her little sister, which made her hate him even more) had shot the side of her house with paintball guns like freaking twelve year olds, she had never been around the brute and not felt inclined to strangle him.
And now? On this night? On the best night of the whole damned year? Unacceptable. It could not stand.
“You know what Nesta—” he started, pointing a finger in her direction, but she wasn’t having it.
Nesta strode forward smoothly, smacking his finger out of the way as if it were an insect bothering her.
“No you listen to me, Cassian,” she hissed, enjoying the way his eyes widened as she leaned in close enough to feel his warm breath on her face, tilting her head back because of his height, “you are entitled to a bad day, to a cancelled flight, to a locked door, and even to a dead phone battery. You can have that. Okay? You can have that. But what you cannot have is my snow! You are not allowed to interrupt my snow time, you are not allowed to take away my one happy time of the year, okay? Okay?!”
In the back of her mind, Nesta noted that she had probably woken up more than one of the neighbors with her shouting, and there were at least two dogs barking in the distance.
But in the front of her mind, all she could focus on was Cassian looking down at her (damn his tall self) with a look of utter confusion.
“Why are you looking at me like that?”
“I just …”
“Just what, Cassian?”
“I just thought that … are you really only ever happy this time of year?”
Nesta deflated. She could barely think straight enough to blink as his voice washed over her. She was so used to him shouting at her the way she shouted at him that sometimes she forgot how nice his regular speaking voice was. And when had they gotten so close?
“I mean I know we fight but I thought … well damn, sweetheart. I thought you enjoyed our little spats like I did. Do.”
Nesta felt her cheeks heating despite the chill temperature. Of course she didn’t enjoy their arguments, who the hell enjoyed arguments, that’s just …
But she did. She did enjoy the bickering and the shouting because with him it was all surface and never actually cutting. He never really tore her down like so many others had, he never commented on her coldness, he never brought up her insecurities … they bickered about stupid things like the importance of paintball (or lack thereof), and the Red Sox versus the Yankees, and how often he should cut his grass in the summertime.
And damn it if those weren’t some of the best parts of her day. Damn it if being around him didn’t have that same glow to it that the snowfall did.
And damn it if she hadn’t been blind to it this whole time.
Cassian, taking Nesta’s stunned silence as something other than it was, huffed in resignation and leaned down to pick up the phone he had thrown moments before. He hissed, stretching out his surely numb fingers.
Nesta finally came back to her senses.
“Wait when did you even get back?” she asked, feeling strange at using her normal tone of voice with him. “I didn’t hear your car. Or that death trap you ride.”
Cassian rolled his eyes. “That death trap is called a motorcycle, and you are always welcome to take a ride with me. But my damn car ran out of gas about a mile down the road. All the stations were closed and I didn’t think I would be coming back here today, but—”
“You walked a mile in the snow?” Nesta asked incredulously. “Without gloves?”
“I didn’t think I would need them!” Cassian shot back, though it held no bite. “I expected to be in the nice, contained heat of my car but damn it all if my flight was cancelled, then I ran out of gas, my phone died, and fucking Azriel never replaced the spare key under the mat last month.”
Nesta huffed, lifting her eyes to the snow falling around her once again. Cassian continued to mutter on and on about stupid Azriel and a broken gas gauge, but she wasn’t paying attention.
Don’t do it, don’t do it, don’t do it, she thought to herself. He’s a brute and Elain and Feyre are gone and it’s your Christmas Eve and you don’t owe him anything. He’s a big boy, he can handle himself.
“Stop talking,” Nesta snapped, pressing her gloved palm to her forehead. Cassian, to his credit, shut up. “I can’t believe I’m doing this,” she muttered under her breath, reaching over and grabbing one of Cassian’s freezing cold hands before turning on her heel back towards her own house, pulling him along with her.
“Uh, what are you doing there sweetheart?” Cassian asked, trying and failing to mask the way his voice cracked .
Nesta could feel her eye twitching. “Look I know we hate each other, but it’s Christmas Eve and your flight was cancelled and even though you’re … you, I can’t just let you freeze to death out here.”
She could feel Cassian’s grin behind her, but Nesta just trudged on through the snow, dragging Cassian behind her up the two steps to her front door and inside her home.
Cassian practically moaned when he stepped inside the toasty warmth of her home, and Nesta promptly ignored the tingling that the noise set off low in her stomach.
“Shoes and coat off,” she snapped, pointing at the bench and coat hanger next to the door. Cassian promptly obeyed, giving her a salute that she pursed her lips at so he wouldn’t see her smile.
“You know sweetheart—”
“I told you not to call me that.”
“—I’m starting to think you like me more than you let on.”
“Think what you want, I don’t care.” Nesta knew her words fell flat when she took in the way his black button down shirt tightened over his chest and shoulders as he pulled off his coat.
Why couldn’t her annoying neighbor look like a troll instead of a Greek god? Why must life treat her this way?
“Go warm your hands up by the fire, I don’t want to take you to the hospital for frostbite.”
Cassian chuckled, the sound a low rumble in his chest as he obeyed. He hissed as the blood rushed back to his fingertips with the heat.
Nesta bit her lip, watching the muscles in his back ripple as he knelt down in front of the fireplace. He had been in her house before, the brute tended to follow Rhys like a puppy whenever the former came around to see Feyre, but he had never been in the house alone with her before. And never late at night … when the snow was falling outside … on Christmas Eve …
Stop that, Nesta warned herself. This isn’t a damn Hallmark movie, pull yourself together.
But … he had a point earlier that she couldn’t shake. Sure, the snow was her happy place. But … inexplicably, bickering with him had the same feel as snowfall. The same magic.
“Hey Cassian,” she called out tentatively, her voice softer than it had ever been in any of their interactions.
Cassian whirled around so quickly he almost lost his balance. His eyes were wide as saucers.
“You know sweetheart, I think that’s one of the first times you’ve called me by name so nicely,” he said with a small smirk, recovering from his shock quickly. “I liked the way it sounded.”
Nesta narrowed her eyes, but she knew there was a softness there that she rarely let others see. Oddly enough, she wasn’t scared to show that softness to him.
Maybe it was the snow, maybe it was because it was Christmas time … whatever it was, she didn’t care. She could give into the magic of it all this one time. Maybe try a bit of that joy that everyone else found so easily.
But she would find it her own, very Nesta-ish way.
“Listen here you brute, I’ll make you hot chocolate, but you’re not getting marshmallows.”
Cassian’s surprised smile, lit up by the glow of the fire, was infinitely more magical than the snow.
Thank you for reading! Please like and reblog and happy December!

Sachihiro, Sachi and their Pokemon in the Future
Sachihiro- As a ten year old, he went on his journey with his sister, his friend Trace and his sister’s friend Elaine. He’s just like his father, action first and thinking second. Thankfully he has his friends with him helping him out and making sure he doesn’t do anything too dumb or reckless. He often calls his parents to let them know he’s okay, he’s not so clumsy anymore but he does have the occasional trip here and there, but he’s still okay. He challenges gyms too.
Pikachu- Evolved into a Raichu, he’s more energetic and he also is a bit more aggressive in battle, mostly due to the fact he charges more electricity than when he was a Pikachu. He tends to get more aggressive depending on how much electricity he stores, he lets out the electricity in the ground or in battle if he’s in a battle. He broke the four move limit as a Pikachu and gained Charge Beam, Iron Tail, Brick Break, Magnet Rise, Mega Punch and Dig. However he forgot Brick Break for Focus Punch, Charge Beam for Wild Charge and Nuzzle for Return.
Minun- Minun still likes cheering on his teammates and using Helping Hand if there’s ever a double battle taking place. He broke the four move limit and gained Mega Punch, Thunderbolt, Swift, Electro Ball, Discharge and Copycat.
Sachihiro’s new Pokemon
Whimsicott- Sachihiro caught a Cottonee and later evolved him into Whimsicott. As a Cottonee, he was shy, nervous and worried about being blown by the wind during a battle but he was hardworking and wanted to do his best. As a Whimsicott, he became more confident and loyal. He does have a small mischief streak, but he only does it to strangers or cocky trainers.
Caught in a Pokeball.
Ability is Infiltrator.
Moves are Giga Drain, Tailwind, Hurricane, Moonblast, Sunny Day, Solar Beam, Hidden Power (Rock), Nature Power, Light Screen and Double Team.
Shiny Slurpuff- Slurpuff was originally caught by Sachi as a Swirlix, but Swirlix had a more interest in battling than performing. So while holding a Whipped Dream and being traded to Sachihiro he evolved into a Slurpuff. Slurpuff is a big eater and a big battler, he loves eating and because of his sense of smell he’s able to find the best kind of ingredients to cook with, which is helpful for when it’s time to cook.
Was caught in a Love ball that belonged to Sachi.
Ability is Sweet Veil.
Moves are Tackle, Draining Kiss, Energy Ball, Play Rough, Flamethrower, Psychic, Return, Cotton Guard, Fake Tears and Calm Mind.
Tyrunt- Sachihiro caught Tyrunt after finding the Jaw fossil and having it restored. Tyrunt is a strangely jolly Pokemon and bites as a way to show affection more than as a way to attack, he’s still learning he can’t do that for affection so he bites as gently as he can.
Caught in a Pokeball.
Ability is Strong Jaws
Moves are Earthquake, Roar, Stomp, Crunch, Dragon Claw, Dragon Dance, Stone Edge, Fire Fang, Poison Fang and Dragon Pulse.
Jangmo-o- Sachihiro caught him during a battle. Jangmo-o is a Pokemon that wants to be tough and seen as intimidating, but his attempts leave him being seen more as cute than intimidating. He does his best and will often pout when he doesn’t win a battle, he gets embarrassed with praise.
Caught in a Quick Ball.
Ability is Bulletproof.
Moves are Tackle, Work Up, Dragon Claw, Iron Head, Draco Meteor, Noble Roar, Brick Break, Shadow Claw, Echoed Voice and Scary Face.
Sachi- Sachi isn’t as shy as she used to be, but she’s the cautious one of the group of four and is always carrying a first aid kit for humans and Pokemon when it’s needed. She also makes sure to remind Sachihiro to call their parents and sister to let them know they’re okay.
Eevee- Evolved into a Leafeon, due to her evolution she’s become calmer, more relaxed and still has her love for dancing. She doesn’t like to fight, instead prefers to keep conflict as far away from her as possible so being part of a showcase is better for her. She broke the four move limit and ended up learning new moves for her new evolved form, so her moveset is Seed Bomb, Swords Dance, Sunny Day, Leaf Blade, Shadow Ball, Dig, Return, Synthesis, Aerial Ace and Swift.
Plusle- Plusle is energetic and preppy, she often practices her cheers. She had to learn how to perform without Minun by her side but she still likes being a cheerleader. Broke the four move limit and learned Mega Kick, Thunderbolt, Swift, Electro Ball, Discharge and Copycat.
Sachi’s new Pokemon
Lilligant- Sachi caught Lilligant as a Petilil and during the time she was a Petilil, she was shy and timid, despite that she enjoyed dancing when only Sachi and Elaine were around. When she evolved into Lilligant she became more outgoing and cheery. She enjoys it when Sachi makes the flower on her head bloom and always gives her a hug when she gets cared for, Lilligant’s love for dancing grew and she would dance while she battles, she’d ask Ashley’s Pokemon for advice seeing as they do a similar strategy.
Caught in a Heal Ball.
Ability is Own Tempo.
Moves are Giga Drain, Stun Spore, Magical Leaf, Quiver Dance, Petal Dance, Sweet Scent, Aromatherapy, Grass Whistle, Nature Power and Sunny Day.
Shiny Aromatisse- Aromatisse was caught by Sachihiro as a Spritzee, but she has a interest in performing with Sachi. So the twins decided to trade, Sachihiro was given a Satchel and gave it to Spritzee. Once traded they evolved into Slurpuff and Aromatisse. Aromatisse has a sassy side that shows when she isn’t near Sachi, she’s also a little arrogant to the point she’ll look down on whoever her ‘competition’ is. However she sees Sachi as her trainer and only gives off a sweet scent for Sachi and Elaine to smell.
Caught in a Heal Ball that belonged to Sachihiro.
Ability is Healer.
Moves are Moonblast, Charm, Attract, Misty Terrain, Psychic, Thunderbolt, Calm Mind, Sweet Kiss, Aromatherapy and Sweet Scent.
Amaura- Sachi was given Amaura after she had the Sail fossil restored. Amaura is a happy and cheerful Pokemon, she often nuzzles Sachi as a way to show affection. When she heard about Sachi not liking to battle and would rather be in performances, she was confused as she never heard of performances before but when Sachi showed her their practice performance she was excited and wanted to join in. Since then she loved doing performances with Sachi and the others.
Caught in a Pokeball.
Ability is Refrigerate
Moves are Aurora Beam, Ancient Power, Round, Hail, Ice Beam, Mirror Coat, Water Pulse, Nature Power, Stone Edge and Mist.
Dratini- Dratini was being chased by another trainer, but because she didn’t like battling she didn’t want to be caught by the trainer. She accidentally bumped into a Ultra ball that belonged to Sachi and got caught by pure accident. Despite being caught accidentally, Dratini didn’t mind since she didn’t want to battle and since Sachi was more interested in showcases. The accidental capture was better than one expected. She’s a friendly Pokemon that loves making others happy, she’ll do whatever it takes to make her new friends happy.
Caught in a Ultra ball.
Ability is Shed Skin.
Moves are Twister, Dragon Dance, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, Dragon Breath, Mist, Dragon Pulse, Iron Tail and Safeguard.
