A silly comic that I drew for Christmas featuring my OCs Made and Aideen. This was inspired by comments people had made about a suggestive drawn chocolate rabbit in an Easter comic I did. This idea was helped along by the fact that chocolate covered fruit, such as bananas, is a thing in German Christmas markets.

*sigh* Poor, poor Made. Her gf really isn't aware of how she comes across sometimes. 🤭

so my anxiety has been going insane because since biden ended the covid extension of medicaid, i got kicked off state insurance and had to buy marketplace insurance. at almost $300 per month. they called me friday to welcome me and it turns out they have to approve my medication again even though i'm with the same company, and even if it is approved it will be $100 per bottle. i am 100% disabled without this medication, i cannot reliably do basic functions like eat or get out of bed. additionally, my job requires medical certification that i my condition is managed, which it won't be if i'm off my medication, which means that i will lose my job if i go off it. having lost my job, i will then be eligible for medicaid again, getting me access to my medication. with access to my medication, i am able to work. if i am able to work, i can't apply for disability because it's for people who can't work. once i work again, i'll be kicked off medicaid again, starting this whole mess over.

so, riddled with anxiety, i did more drawings.

Artwork Spotlight - Kitsune

As we came across the beginnings for this piece in yesterday’s post I thought it would be worth connecting all the dots that led to this artwork. Like the Komainu piece that I did, this kitsune statue can be found at the Otoyo-jinja shrine in Kyoto.
