Until I can write worldbuilding, consider this fluffy Osmobeast centaur au fic my holiday gift to you all. Not seasonal, but it involves baby pictures and these two being adorable both together and individually, so-

“Okay, here we go, oldest picture of me I still have.” It wasn’t a favorite, but after everything that had happened in his childhood, there were only so many things he had left from it all. A dozen or so pictures, some books, one of his dad’s watches. So even a picture he didn’t find particularly interesting was still worth showing off. Curled around him the way only somebody several hundred pounds larger than you could, arms draped around his shoulders and chin nestled between his antlers, Kevin cooed.

“You were so cute,” he said, “and it’s so weird seeing you not green.” Gar chuckled.

“Yeah, this was a ways before all of that.” He couldn’t have been more than a few months old, all spots and long legs and big eyes. It’d been taken in some lab or another, little fawn him settled in a taped off spot in a corner, dressed in bright purple underwear, a little see-through plastic lab blanket and coat, and fawn-sized safety goggles. He really had been adorable. “Don’t know why my parents went for see-through.”

“The spots are half the adorable of a fawn.”

“That answers that then.” Gar went to the next one- him a few years older, still pre-powers, still spotted, stood next to his dad and wearing a near exact replica of his outfit. Tall hoof boots, solid color leg wraps, a short blanket, long-sleeved button-up, and a vest with more pockets than someone his age would’ve ever known what to do with. Fuck, he was coming into his mid-twenties now and he still wouldn’t know what to do with them all. “These are all I’ve got of me before… everything. All the rest of them are just my parents or have me post-powers.” Kevin nodded, pressing a kiss to his hair as he moved on to one of his mom, stood laughing at the dinner table with a mug of coffee in her hand.

“They’re great pictures. Can see the start of how damn pretty you’d be in your parents.”

“Aww. Thanks, hun.” With a hum, Kevin shifted enough to get Gar to edge aside and let him stand up.

“One sec.” As he vanished off into the bedroom, Gar continued flipping through the pictures. With much purpose he slipped one into the ‘already shown’ section, hidden away. He was in the mood to share pictures, but not that one, of him in that brief period between knowing he wouldn’t die and getting the shapeshifter label. Not pretty nor pleasant to remember. The bang of Kevin pronking in the other room pulled him from bad memories- and wouldn’t the fact Kevin was over eight-hundred pounds and could pronk always amaze and delight him- turning to watch as he trotted over and settled back into place behind him.

“I have,” he said as they got back into position, voice quiet and soft, like he was sharing a secret, “one picture from when I was little. Was what I managed to grab when everything went... well.” Gar nodded his understanding, turning his head to rub an antler against Kevin’s cheek.

The presented image wasn’t- couldn’t have been- as old as Gar’s eldest had been, but it looked like it. Worn, folded, clearly exposed to the world and elements for years as Kevin had carried it with him through dimensions and across the galaxy. Still you could easily make out the focus. A mule deer doe, exhausted and exasperated, laid in a hospital room and robes. She had what was far too large to be anything but a moose calf- and Gar nearly flinched at the not-near-enough size differences of the people in the image- curled at her flank, with an array of spots in his russet fur and a blue band loose around one ankle. Worse for the poor mother, there was a second one- this one’s spotting much fainter- stood half on his sibling, a pink band around the ankle and pink bandaged wrapped firm around one wrist and hand.

“Guess the twin.” Kevin smile was clear in his tone and Gar couldn’t have stopped himself from matching it if he tried.

“Well,” he said, pointing at the first calf, “this one’s eyes look blue, so… Gonna guess you’re the one who already hurt himself.”

“Supposedly I managed twenty minutes before I found something to launch myself off in naïve excitement,” came the laughing response. “Eric was like you, he had those fawn genes where you could just put him somewhere and he’d stay put. I was the bad twin right out the womb.”

“None of that,” Gar said, elbowing him. “If you’re the bad twin none of us would’ve been able to meet the standards he’d have set.”

“If you say so, babe.”

“You were really cute though.” He had been, him and his brother both, with massive fluffy ears, miles of leg, and big bright eyes.  “Almost want it framed.”

“You can frame this one and put it up, but only if I get to frame you in those little goggles.” Hmm. It was a tough call. Could it even be framed, with the state of it? Gar had no idea, and the idea of his own baby pictures on display was mildly embarrassing. But then, having nicer memories, ones from when things hadn’t gone to hell, hanging up where they didn’t have to go dig them up- That might be nice.

A bit of his heart melted and panicked in turn as the words ‘family photos’ crossed his brain.

“Remind me later, we’ll look into getting them done all nice and proper. If we grab one of us we can tie it all together, too.” Kevin practically purred into his hair, grip tightening, and the melting portion of his heart won out.

“Sounds like a plan to me.”

I love it, because Crowley does not underestimate Cas in anyway. Crowley has always had a healthy appreciation for Cas’ abilities, so Crowley is more than aware of how BAMF Cas is at knife to knife fighting. Yet Crowley believed he had a chance, which shows that Crowley is pretty BAMF himself

I won’t lie, I think Cas would win in a “fight until one is knocked out” type situation. Cas is millions of years old and a soldier, it is highly unlikely Crowley would be better than him, and I just “yeah sure lol” whenever Dean is made to be more skilled than Cas? like what are the directors smoking? Dean is skilled but he doesn’t have millions of years of experience. Or if Cas only began fighting when humans were created, then thousands of years

But do I think Crowley could have put up a good enough fight, with his cunning, to stun Cas for just long enough to teleport away with Kevin and the tablet?

The answer is yes. It takes 7 milliseconds to snap your fingers. He needs to use cunning long enough to have that 7 milliseconds. Don’t get me wrong Cas would absolutely kick Crowley’s arse in any fight, even a non power fight where it’s just melee vs melee but I do think Crowley has enough skill to buy himself 7 milliseconds and that is an incredible feat, because Cas has way more experience even if he didn’t have powers, which he did

So why didn’t Crowley teleport with Kevin and the tablet while Cas was doing his light show? We know from 7x23 that Crowley doesn’t need to touch an item or people to teleport them

The answer I believe is this:

originally Crowley thought Cas didn’t have enough powers. The light show made him think okay maybe I was wrong. Originally he thought he just needed to stun Cas long enough to get him, the tablet and Kevin out and Cas wouldn’t be able to follow because he wasn’t in good shape

Cas was able to bluff well enough to make Crowley believe he was fine and if we remember from 5x10 Cas can follow Crowley’s teleportation energy like how he followed Crowley to his house, even though Crowley teleported before him 

So if you already know the angel can follow your teleportation signature, and you guess that they still have some power left in them to follow you, what would be the point? Fold your cards and try again. You can risk teleporting away, but if the angel follows you they might not give you an advantage of warning you with a light show next time

ok since his twin is like the super edgy anarchist biker guy, people then go "okay and this is the sweeter softer one of the two <3." it doesn't help that like his story arc is him going from like a socially liberal centrist who doesn't understand systematic inequality to eventually you know, being an official part of the anarchist biker gang, because that means at the start when the gang was doing some more morally dubious things he went "guyssss we shouldn't do those things" and then people stuck with that and forgot that his opinion on such things changes. like his whole thing is being strategic and subtle while Black, his twin, is about dramatic public actions. like by the end he doesn't disagree with Black's methods, he just thinks manipulating things in such a manner to raise public support that doesn't alienate their cause from more moderate folks is important. he has diplomat training and cares about pr, he's not a pacifist.

also I feel like people erase his bisexuality a lot too because he's endgame with Sean and then also go and make him the uwu innocent one in their relationship. like babes are we forgetting the opening scene of him as an adult is after he hooked up with his girlfriend in Russia (that he might have been living with? unclear, it was only one scene). also don't forget that he made out with Eugene. he didn't have to do that. anyways he's not an uwu so innocent gay boy who has never progressed pass kissing before.

It was like taking all The Seven’s abilities and more and shoving them into one person. A lazy and sluggish person, who walked around in sweatpants, baggy hoodies and sneakers that had once been white but were now brown and repaired with tape.

It had all started those two weeks ago when Vought had finally gotten Superior, (Y/N) as he told everyone to call him, to agree to meet The Seven. Kevin might not have been the smartest person, not by a long shot he could admit that, but even he could see that Superior was only playing along out of boredom. Homelander looked like he was about to burst a vein with how hard he was clenching his jaw, his eyes glowing the smallest bit red like he was fighting everything inside himself not to start lasering the other man.

Every member of The Seven were tense and nervous when Ashley brought in (Y/N), the man wearing a pair of grey sweatpants and a half-unzipped sweatshirt, the white wifebeater underneath doing very little to hide the sculpted muscle of his torso.

Now, Kevin had never thought of being with a man before, especially someone who, if the rumors were correct, could defeat Homelander with one hand whilst playing candy crush on their phone with the other. But he couldn’t help but let his eyes run down the length of Superiors Adonis like body, wide shoulders, big pecs, thick muscular thighs, he couldn’t be surprised if the guy had an 8-pack under his layers. Glancing up Kevin’s eyes locked with the man he had been ogling, and when (Y/N)s lip twitched into a lazy smirk, Kevin was quick to turn away and lock his attention to the suddenly very interesting table in front of him.

The meeting went on as it always did, though this time Homelander looked closer to snap than ever before and Superior was sat back in an extra chair, feet up on the table and arms crossed behind his head. At some point (Y/N) had unzipped the rest of his sweatshirt and Kevin dared to sneak a peek. (Y/N) quirked a brow when their eyes met again, having caught the water-based hero looking, the smirk returning to his lips as The Deep was quick to look away again.

As the meeting came to an end Kevin stayed in his seat, trying his best to will away the heat that had been bubbling in his abdomen. It had especially gotten hot under his layers when (Y/N) removed his feet from the table just to push his rolling chair back and spread his legs as much as possible, as if he was inviting whoever was looking to crawl in between them and worship him.

When Kevin had left, he thought he was alone until (Y/N) had floated up beside him, as silent as the night, and started talking. The cocky grin on his lips made it obvious he knew completely the way that Kevin’s body had reacted, maybe he could even smell it with those insane senses of his. The overpowered supe had landed on his feet and started walking beside Kevin, his hand reaching up to settle on the lower part of the shorter man’s back.

The ocean hero tried his best to keep casual, though he knew he was failing with all his stuttering and how he would lose train of thought when (Y/N)s fingers brushed against the top of his ass and fingered at his belt just enough to be felt. As they reached The Deeps place, they had stopped outside the doors and Superior had leant in close, his eyes almost glowing but not with lasers but something else. His lips had just barely brushed against Kevin’s before the man pulled back, patting Kevin on the cheek, telling him he would see him soon with a wink and disappearing, likely teleportation.

Knees feeling shaky like they never had before, Kevin leant against his door and tried to comprehend what just happened. Fumbling with his hand he finally got the door open and stumbled inside, his pants feeling incredibly tight and constricting. Not even 15 minutes later found The Deep in his bed, on his knees and forehead pressed against the sheets as he fisted his cock like it was his life’s mission, mind full of images of the lazy cocky hero who had looked at Kevin like he wanted to eat him.

After another swim in the ocean the two had returned to Kevin’s place, the two flying as (Y/N) carried Kevin in his arms. Peeking over his shoulder he saw the door was wide open, the man of his desires leaning against the doorframe in nothing but a towel, hair still dripping as if he hadn’t dried it off enough. Kevin couldn’t stop but drink in all over the man’s body, gulping softly at the way his muscles pulled and stretched as he pushed off the doorframe and started making his way over.

Kevin tried to stutter an excuse or explanation, anything to get out of this conversation since he had pretty much confessed to wanting (Y/N) in a way that wasn’t acceptable, at least if you asked Vought. He soon found himself backed up against the aquarium, (Y/N)s wide frame caging him against the glass as he grabbed Kevin’s chin and forced him to look him in the eyes. Kevin wanted nothing more but to be swallowed up by the ground right then and there, or to just keel over and die on the spot.

kevin is a soldier through and through as is fernando. however, max could either be a soldier or king, but i ultimately would make the argument for soldier. pierre is wavering between soldier and poet, but i think he lands on the side of soldier. esteban is also all soldier. carlos could also be either a soldier or a king, i think it would be pretty 50/50, but the way he talks about racing makes me side with soldier. george is also a soldier, he has a goal in mind and will do everything to reach it. i chose to place the 2022 drivers as i don’t know the rookies well, but my guess would be that nyck is a soldier too. he had one chance and took it.

charles and lewis are both kings all the way through. lando is either a king or poet, but he has more king vibes because he was literally given the world, he is blessed with immense talent and born into privilege to pave the path for him and now the rest is up to himself. valtteri is either king or poet, he is the least soldier out of all of them, but after his stint at mercedes, i think he is more king than poet now. seb is a king and i will accept no other answer. now this might be controversial but lance is for me the ultimately king. he has been “crowned” with, more or less, a permanent f1 seat and sometimes i wonder if he is just living out his father’s dream without his heart being into it. he was giving a racing helmet and was told to drive. nicholas was super hard to place, but in the same vein as lance, the path was cleared for him due to wealth and he has simply walked it, never meeting any hindrance, and so maybe never considered if this is what he truly wants. logan feels like he would be a king too, but he is the one i know the least, but that would be my gut feeling from the few things i’ve seen of him. oscar also feels like he would be a king, he has been given a chance because of his immense potential, but had to take the chance at the cost of his countryman, which does feel like a big “crowned with a thorny crown moment.” nico hulkenberg also seems like he would be a king, he is tired of being steady and wants to risk it all to finally get that podium.

The 40 x Kill the Justice League (1/4)

Hey everyone! I'm back again for the first part of this crossover fan comic between The 40 and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Ever since it was announced, I was excited for the video game's release since it's Arkhamverse Batman's return and final appearance by Rocksteady Studios. Oh, and paying tribute to the late Kevin Conroy's last performance providing the voice of Bruce Wayne/Batman.

When it did come out through early release playthroughs on YouTube...it was underwhelming but still an overall good game in my opinion.

I took inspiration from the scene where Wonder Woman was using the lasso of truth to restrain the brainwashed Flash. When she tries to get him to tell the truth through the lasso's magic regarding how to free the Justice League from Brainiac's control, The Flash, after regaining some semblance of control, eerily states that she has to kill them and they have to die to save the world.

As one of the members of The 40 whose been brainwashed by Brainiac and turned into an enforcer, Corrupted Deku is essentially Izuku whose earnest desire to be a hero is now twisted to serve Brainiac by killing anyone who tries to resist the cybernetic alien's attempt to terraform the Earth.

Profile: Corrupted Deku

Personality: Corrupted Deku lacks the original Izuku's shy and kind personality, instead, he's somewhat similar to Katsuki Bakugou's arrogance and hot-blooded attitude and is full-on sadistic in inflicting any potential enemy with a slow death if it's convenient for him (though he's still pragmatic enough to take the shot).

Powers and Abilities:

Artificial Quirk: Through Brainiac's vast knowledge of the multiverse, Corrupted Deku has been bestowed with an "artificial Quirk" of the alien android's creation.

Cybernetic enhancements: He's been cybernetically enhanced by Brainiac to not only have superhuman physical abilities but also be nearly immune to the friction that would build up from the constant movement of his super speed.

Superhuman Speed: The Artificial Quirk, in addition to his cybernetic enhancements, allows Corrupted Deku to move at extreme speeds, potentially at the speed of light. It functions better than his canon counterpart's Full Cowl (minus the other Quirk abilities he would unlock, starting with Black Whip in the Joint Training Arc), making his powerset closer to a user of the Speed Force.

Superhuman Strength: Corrupted Deku possesses an unprecedented amount of superhuman strength, and can potentially go further in conjunction with his super speed.

Superhuman Endurance and Durability: Corrupted Deku is extremely durable from physical harm and capable of enduring the friction build-up of his super speed.

Superhuman Reflexes and Accelerated Perception: Corrupted Deku can react at extreme speeds and can slow his perception of the world to the point that everything moves slowly.

Superhuman Intelligence: His already above-average intellect has been enhanced to a genius level one, allowing him to formulate over 100 different scenarios with a high success rate.

Regenerative Healing Factor: Corrupted Deku is fitted with cybernetics that is capable of self-healing, allowing him to regenerate and heal from damaged and/or lost tissue.

Wind Generation: He can create cyclones and tornados through his super speed.

Lightning Throw: Corrupted Deku can charge up Lightning from his Artificial Quirk and cybernetics to throw at potential targets.

Invisibility: He can move so fast that he can disappear from the sight of the naked eye.

Also, much like in how the brainwashed members of the Justice League had to die in ''Kill the Justice League'', Izuku and all the other members of The 40 who have been brainwashed also have to die for them to be stopped. Making it a very, very, very personal and angst-filled adventure for Zuko and all the other non-brainwashed members of The 40.

To make it even worse, Corrupted Deku and the brainwashed members of The 40 have already been racking up a body count estimated to be over 5000 people (including children, infants, and the unborn) by the time Zuko and the other non-brainwashed members of The 40 go off to fight them.

As for the identities of the other members of The 40 whose been brainwashed? Well...you'll just have to wait and see~

Lastly, I just want to say that the next fan comic will be about The 40 exploring random parts of Poppy Playtime and dealing with the mascot villains plus learning about the lore of Playtime Co.

On this day in 1968, Steve Ditko and Don Segall’s DC character Jack Ryder aka The Creeper debuted in Showcase #73. The Creeper made his first appearance in animation in Dan Riba, Rich Fogel, and Steve Gerber’s ‘The New Batman Adventures’ 1998 episode “Beware the Creeper”.

Enthusiastic reporter Jack Ryder (Jeff Bennett) is doing a story on the upcoming anniversary of Gotham City’s worst criminal, the Joker, at the place he was created: ACE Chemical Pant. Joker (Mark Hamill) and his goons crash this mini documentary and attack Ryder. Although Batman (Kevin Conroy) and Robin (Mathew Valencia) arrive on the scene, the Clown Prince of Crime sprays Ryder with Joker laughing gas and pushes him into a vat of chemicals. Once Ryder emerges, he not only has yellow skin, green hair and a maniacal grin, he has gained super strength. Jack Ryder makes the transformation complete calling himself “The Creeper” and wants to seek revenge on The Joker.

Meanwhile, Harley Quinn (Arleen Sorkin) greets Joker at their hideout and rises out of a pie celebrating Joker's 7th anniversary since his own transformation. Joker, however, is more concerned about The Creeper going around town plagiarizing his act. To help her puddin', Harley finds Creeper at a club confronting some of Joker's men and Ryder becomes smitten by Harley Quinn and starts acting like, well, a creep. This leads to a pursuit involving the Jokermobile, Harley hitting Creeper with her hammer filled with bricks, and Batman eventually de-escalating the situation by giving Creeper a sedative in the form of a patch that will turn him back into Jack Ryder. In the end, Ryder decides living life as The Creeper is too much fun, removes the patch and lets out a crazy laugh. Steve Ditko and Don Segall’s brightly colored character that debuted 56 years ago translated fantastically into this Dark Deco animated world, making “Beware the Creeper” an underrated late episode within this classic 1990s television show.🦇

Kevin Blaiddyd can lift an ox with his pinky. Bob the mailman cannot. Even if Rhea never wrote a thing about the source of Crests... Kevin and Bob wouldn't have been treated the same way : in a world rife with giant monsters and bandits, Kevin's super strength will always be valued over Bob, who doesn't have this super strength, when it comes to protect/defend his people/family.

A Marvel Runaways animated series?!

This is probably far fetched but after a failed attempt at Marvel making a Runaways movie back in 2008 and the live action series being cancelled after three seasons in 2019.

Marvel has an opportunity to adapt more of their comic series into animated shows. After the recent success and fame of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur season 2. And Kevin Feige has a chance to make the other Netflix/ABC Marvel series to MCU canon.

Marvel’s Runaways first appearing in their issue on July, 2003. A group of teens discover their parents who are a part of Pride, a charity organization, are actually murderers when they witness them sacrificing a teenage girl. From then on they become the “Runaways” most of them discover they have powers or abilities. From super strength to a physic connection with a time traveling dinosaur, to amazing hacker skills.

With a series of comics featuring ninjas (who are also mutants), wizards, crime lords, time travelers, mad scientists, aliens while also all of it taking place on the West Coast, With similar animation to these series would be great!!

Now for how to mesh the comic and tv adaptations canon together.

All of the Pride’s original abilities should be the same as it is in the comics, so Frank and Leslie Dean are both aliens and Gene and Alice Hayes/Hernandez both have the X gene.

Karolina has a similar arc as she did in the series with her finding out her sexuality. Which leads to the start of Nico and Karolina’s relationship.

The Gibborim are featured more so they are more of a threat to the Runaways

Alex is the leader of the Runaways but eventually will betray the team as he does in the comics.

Klara Prast is featured. Therefore the time travel element of the Runaways is important. The same as it is with Old Lace and Gert’s death.

Similar to Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, this series would have MCU Easter eggs that don’t go far beyond on that.

Gert and Molly are not siblings in this version but still have their strong bond.

The found family trope is still very much present as it is one of the lovable and important things about the team.

Hi, hope I'm not bothering, but I've seen other people coming in and out of your inbox to talk and I just kinda wanted to actually say something to someone directly instead of screaming into the void lmfao. Lmk if you don't really want that ofc.

So, I've only seen the newer Jumanji movies, but when I made the post it was stuck in my head that Radford would surely take on the role of Spencer (the main dude). So, idk if you've seen the newer movies but Spencer is basically this super sorta cowardly guy who's scared of squirrels. But his in-game character is the overpowered guy played by Dwayne the Rock Johnson. Anyways, he'd be sorta like that because I imagine he has no skills whatsoever with wild animals or nature and just. Freaks out every few minutes. But his character has like, super strength or something he would NOT have irl.

He'd probably take a while to get used to his in-game abilities, but honestly you cannot tell me it wouldn't go to his head a bit. I mean, dude can outrun everyone while carrying a full grown adult, actually carry and run with a full grown adult, have these sudden awesome fighting skills he doesn't even know how he learned, and other shit. But he does not know how the fuck to make a campfire outside of watching, like, Castaway of something lmfao.

In my version of the AU there's Kevin and I decided the Hatzgang (since it might've been Streber's group). They'd all take turns trying to light a fire before giving up and just sleeping in a group with someone taking shifts staying awake. It's all very sad and traumatising. But I'll stop so I'm not giving you a full page of random AU lore in your inbox lmao. Idk does it sound interesting ig?

She's calling for them on the monitor and neither of them are wanting to get up to grab her. So Lena takes matters into her own hands.

She pats at Kevin's face and he jolts away like "uhhhhh how did you get in here, baby!?"

Him and Sam panic and move her into a small, toddler bed with a protective side. But all it does is mean she is in their bed every morning. They wake up, boom, Lena is there. Their bed is high and they aren't even sure how she gets up, until they watch her climb up.

"She has super baby strength." Kevin chuckles, gathering her into his arms. She's smiley and happy, murmuring indiscernible words in what Kevin believes is Swiss German. Sam groans, removing her hand from Kevin's thigh, knowing his favorite girl is here now and there is no use trying to go further.

Issue #36: “Rampage on Earth-4”: A former wrestler woman gets kicked out for accidentally punching Jesse and is now a rampaging out of control muscular villainess bent on crushing the Mighty Solars with her brute strength?!

Issue #37: “Pinball Madness”: A new villain teenager, “Pinball Brat” has trapped Fung-irl and Lightspeed in a pinball machine and are now playing pinballs, this time with the two heroic BFFS trapped in human-sized pinballs.

Issue #38: “The Clock Strikes Midnight”: Korvo’s apprentice Parker is accidentally struck with some kind of power that involves her throwing electric like lightning blades from her hands. Now she must help the Mighty Solars stop an evil moon vilallness.

Issue #39: “Danger in Blood”: A young teenage girl is bent on revenge for the murder of her mother. She teamed up with the Mighty Solars’ old foe Crimson and goes on a blood-bending spree that involves putting everyone’s lives in danger by making them mind control puppets. Now, it’s up to Nova and the rest of the citizens, including an old friend, to distract the two out of control teenagers before they go after the Mighty Solars. But, will they be too late? This will be a reference to the episode from Avatar: the Last Airbender, “The Southern Raiders”.

Issue #40: “Stolen” Pt. 1: After the aftermath of Issue #40, Qourra is forced to suffer the consequences of her actions when the news about her blood bending on the south causes a dangerous cult of super powered crooks, called the Silver Spades, to kidnap the Mighty Solars and their friends, except for Korvo, Yumyulack, Pupa, Phoebe, Parker, Montez, Nova, Kevin and Sherbert. When a stubborn and thick-headed Qourra tries to take them down, she is forced to experience what the Mighty Solars and their allies went through. This one and Pt. 2 will be a reference to the Legend of Korra episodes “Enter the Void” and “Venom of the Red Lotus”.

Issue #41: “Stolen” Pt. 2: As Qourra gets poisoned by mercury, Principal Cooke, Miss Frankie, Ms. Perez, Mia, Jaime, Darcy, Sherbert and Randall ends up suffering from a testing project while Qausarblast, Vil-Gil-An-T, the Mighty Pupa, Starburst, Venus Tip and the rest of their friends try to free Mighton, Fung-irl, Lightspeed and the rest of the captured citizens from the Silver Spades.

Issue #42: “The Cavalry Has Arrived”: Some new Mighty Solars arrive when five rogue villains try to take down the Mighty Solars one by one. But these heroes are never going down without a fight, especially with some new additions to the family.

Issue #43: “Mighton Goes Crazy and Shit”: When Terry gets kidnapped by a mysterious mechanic, he transforms Terry AKA Mighton into a rampaging muscular mind-controlled monstrous out of control servant to take down the Mighty Solars, much to Korvo/Qausarblast’s horror and distraught because of his fear of losing his beloved Terry/Mighton. Until, a new Mighty Solar girl came along, and that girl is Nova! This is gonna involved HMG (hulking muscle grow; it’s gonna be reference to Bane from Batman and The Incredible Hulk)

percy jackson is the one i consider my first ~proper~ fanfiction. earlier attempts were a final fantasy x retelling with pokémon but i only went through the first chapter and hated it, a guild wars fanfiction which was about my own characters which i abandoned after a few chapters, and fanfiction of a (likely) troll fanfiction. i consider them disqualified for various reasons. others may not.

the hollow folk books. only had one fic on ao3 last i checked. deserves more. the problem is i don't see any angle for a fic with that cast and that world other than the story that is already in the books. so.

well. well!! okay i'm going to try to think about different tropes than my favorite tropes here to make it spicy and interesting!

5. Magic and I mean the Diana Wynne Jones kind. You keep most of the real world the same, but add just a little bit of magic in a very fun and light way. The backstage is rocked when Brian Cage is revealed to be part troll, which makes jim even more determined never to let anyone find out that he's part fae, even though it really does not give him any advantages, and in fact his only real inheritance is that he can't lie. which is fine, because he gets around it pretty well by just not saying stuff when he doesn't want to, but then there's talk of doing testing for Creatures, and well. he tells dustin.

4. daemons from HDM aus. dustin's daemon can be walter, easy. maybe jim's is somewhat small and he usually keeps her in his jacket pocket. dustin's only met her a few times even though they've lived together for a few years, and she's not that interested in socializing with walter. dustin doesn't mind so much, because that's just how jim is about some things. and then one day during a match, jim gets hurt, and his daemon leaps into dustin's arms in the next blink and hides herself in his chest.

3. Ensemble fic. I miss the art of being able to contain the full cast of characters in any one story. I love if you're reading a ship fic but you see fun cameos from other wrestlers wandering in and out of the plotline. it makes the backstage feel vibrant and so real. and maintaining the ensemble is ESPECIALLY good in an AU. if someone did a HangKenny Good Omens au, I would feel such joy in my heart if you managed to correctly sort the other wrestlers into various roles and let them contribute to the plot. I feel like i'm not being super clear about the joy of this because my brain is absolutely done broke, but it was something people used to do in bandom and it was SO fun. If you did a Mean Girls AU, it was SO fun to see how the author filled in all the OTHER background roles. tumblr user baking_soda do YOU know what I mean? do they be doing that in F1 very much? are people writing Mean Girl aus and taking the time to figure out who Kevin is? that's fun to me.

2. your self from another timeline comes to visit. this is SO hard and it's SO sexy to imagine. i'm literally obsessed with it all the time. i love thinking about like, baby!dustin at like what, 19? coming forward in time to 2022 and being like "we're FAMOUS? we're on TV?" and dustin's like "for an incredibly generous interpretation of famous and also not on tv that much." and all the things dustin hates about himself in life he can't help but hate to see in baby!dustin so he's not like...nice....to him. and he especially hates how obvious baby!dustin is about his giant crush on jim. jim just laughs and says "you're such a jerk. he's a good kid..."

1.. this is cheating because i'm using it as #1 in both "favorite" tropes and "need more of" but it's my life MOM!!! it's body betrayal!!!!! body betrayal!!!!!!! unfortunately it's my absolute kryptonite to think about ESPECIALLY ATHLETES or anyone who has a close relationship with their body and takes pride in its reflexes and strength being bowled over by a surprise. i mean, me, if i sprouted a lizard tail tomorrow, i'd be like "oh sure, this might as well happen" but i LOVE when shit happens to people who are so sure they know their body inside and out. and when you combine it with the self loathing of someone who is so sure that the thing their body is doing will cause them to be rejected forever??? that's the good stuff. please note, if you say to me: wow lea, it's interesting that you're so emotionally effected by someone discovering a hidden and horrible secret in your blorbo and your blorbo gets love and acceptance in spite of the horrible secret self. have you considered taking that to therapy? i say to you: go to superhell.
