Don't mind me...

Just working on a short story involving catfolk... Which I feel should have a sense of humour and a dose of sarcasm and wit...

Why?

Because for generations humans have been making cat jokes at their expense, thus catfolk have embraced the humour and frequently add cat puns to their sayings and regular sentences.

The main catfolk character in my story is based loosely on Kot Bayun (from Russian folklore) plus Puss in Boots... and my Skyrim character Mr Mreow.

You know, I’m thinking of comic in French first (native language) before I translate them in English and sometime I’m frustrated because I find some puns for Chat Noir that doesn’t work in English because the expressions are not the same :,)

Here for example, to say that you have a discomfort in the throat, you say « to have a cat in the throat » instead of frog in the throat! I can’t use it for catpun.
