this man is so excited to be at his first twitchcon & being able to hang out with all his best friends makes it a hundred times better

when he isn’t at a panel or doing meet & greets, he’s dragging you everywhere to see the whole convention center (clingyinnit)

he is just so at awe despite this not being his first convention to attend

you’d be surprised he gets tired pretty quickly & stops over to the partner lounge

you both rest for a bit against a wall in a pretty packed hallway despite it being an exclusive area to twitch partners

every time a famous streamer walks by he will yell it out and record it then vlog your reaction, even if they’re surrounded with bodyguards & trying to get to another place quickly

he’d zoom in his camera to their face at a horrible angle and be like

“oh my god it is THE ninja. ninja famous fortnite player, HELLO.”

but he gets completely ignored

then the camera pans out to you, still really zoomed in that the capture is blurry

“EH?”

tommy is so confused, forgetting the bit ninja did on his twitter where he renamed himself ‘ninjainnit’ for a split second

okay tommy isn’t that athletic but he will chase you and the rest of your group down a hallway if he had to

he’d probably find a toy gun from the artist alley/seller booths and shoot you and wilbur with it

but if tommy stumbles across any of the dream team, it’s about to be minecraft manhunt but irl

and he will def play his stream music while walking or smth when he’s bored (or trying to jump dream & sapnap)

oh my god,, now thinking about it he’s probably the one to open like random doors of empty rooms and steal stuff while you film him

like he will take a random empty glass, a bunch of pens, a freebie t-shirt, everything he sees he takes with him and you’re just panic

you’d tell wilbur about this and he’d scold tommy and threaten him with the same pen tommy stole

tommy probably would also drag you some weird event happening outside twitchcon along with tubbo and ranboo

“pokimane is giving out free pizza to everyone if we go to this one restaurant down the street!”

“we are literally gonna get bombarded. have you forgot you’re like three of twitch’s top streamers? i’d rather pay for all of our meals than try getting free pizza from pokimane against all her other fans”

“DEAL! let’s go to five guys then!”

you unfortunately end up paying for all 3 of their meals and picking on their food instead of buying your own

even with all of them making way more money than you, they still happen to be cheapskates

OR tommy will end up getting a burrito from a taco truck, immediately making a mess of himself, then proceed to complain how messy the food is to eat despite knowing what he was getting himself into before even ordering

probably spends a lot of time at a bunch of different booths, checking out all the pointless gadgets he could buy for his stream

the arguments are all lighthearted but eventually you give in and let him splurge over a thousand dollars in different devices he claimed he “needed”

i could honestly see him visiting the beaches in san diego and going for a swim or even renting out a boat to use for a bit :D

also he’d bring benson along with him and taking a bunch of scenic photos with it in them

i have a feeling he’s the type to schedule a spontaneous meet & greet because he was bored & gets in trouble for causing a mob in a certain part of the convention

he’s like “oh god, i did not expect this many of the bois to show up AHAHAH oops”

tubbo would def pull a lilypichu and bring his melodica or ukulele and play themes while following random people/cosplayers

at the end of the day, you’d find his bag just stuffed with crap he either got for free or bought in the convention

i honestly just see him causing as much chaos as the other two

ranboo would probably like take someone’s camera whether if they’re streaming or if it’s for the vlog, hold it up high, and point the camera directly above someone’s face

it did not matter how tall you were and if you had platform shoes on, ranboo was a skyscraper next to you

and you can just tell by his facial expression he’s just thinking

honestly with wilbur it’s slightly more chill

he already experienced twitchcon before so he’s just glad to see his friends again after so long

insists that you explore the convention yourself rather than sticking with him the whole time but you do anyway!

wilbur would probably have like a mini concert and gets you front row seats with the rest of the group

but that doesn’t mean before it that you’re not helping him set up

and musically talented or not, he will probably bring you and the rest of his friends up to stage to just vibe and sing a bunch of random acoustic songs

it’s not like some big concert hall stage,, i imagine more like a casual thing w a slightly higher platform from the ground yk?

after spending a long day at the convention he’d also bring everyone across the city to la jolla or smth !

you’d all probably have dinner there and chill, watching the pretty sunset

AHAHAH and for context traversing through la jolla by walking around the town is a bit hard since it’s basically on a bunch of hills (walking up from the beach to a restaurant actually is actually sm work, trust me ive been there)

wilbur honestly doesn’t spend that much time in the actual convention center, he’s probably sightseeing a bit of san diego with you instead

but i could imagine him staying at the tabletop games area playing dnd or smth

he’d pull you in with him and end up enjoying yourself even if it was your first time

and if you’re of age, you’d be wilbur’s +1 at the twitch partner party and make sure mans doesn’t too drunk

if it’s not too late in the night, you two would chill at the beach after the party

it’s just a nice, calming moment after all the loud music mixed with hundreds of conversations at the party

also something about like taking polaroids pictures with wilbur just seems to go hand in hand for me

i’m not sure why but you will be taking lots of pics with wilbur for sure (not necessarily you both in the photo, but of sceneries as well while you’re together!)

literally a dad on vacation with his children, it doesn’t matter how old you are

need sunscreen? surprisingly has it

want a snack? probably has a small granola bar somewhere in his bag

but same with wilbur, he’s more chill like this isn’t his first time at twitchcon

omg he’d def bring you to the artist alley and just buy a bunch of fanart and stuff tho

nothing really crazy screams out to me of what phil would do at twitchcon besides like go to a few events, spend a bunch of time w his friends, etc

HOWEVER i could see him wasting a lot of his time at the gaming area and testing new games that are currently on the works of being developed

like “woah y/n, this vr game is sick, you should try it out!”

ngl i feel like phil would plan a visit to disneyland for everyone, like he gets the tickets and everything but once you’re at the park it’s free reign, y’all go everywhere with not much of a plan

the minors would try to cheap out phil and pay less than the others even though everyone else fully paid phil back and everything LMAO

ok but if he’s feeling nice, phil will buy everyone cotton candy/pretzels :D

and if you’re not hungry, he’d at least get you a mickey balloon

just in general, best idea phil had for taking everyone to disneyland :D

surprisingly techno is really calm despite this being like one of his first conventions

but when he finally settles in and gets comfortable, he’s showing the same energy

if you’re playfully yelling, he will yell back

however there’s still those awkward moments that are unavoidable

idk why but something about him makes me think that if you feel tired and want to go back to your hotel room, he’d go with you just to make sure you get there safe

he probably also needs a break from being around everyone else for a moment too LMAO

i could also see him searching far and wide in the artist alley for fanart of himself AHAHAH

walking around with him in the convention consists of someone yelling “BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD” every 5 minutes but you don’t really mind

something about him makes me think he’ll be forced into playing minecraft twitch rivals along with the rest of sbi or smth

and he’s like “oh god, i’m going to be on stage? and people will see my face while i play minecraft?”

“i’m sure it will be fun!”

“i mean i like being competitive and feeding my ego, but i’m not that desperate.. well”

do i imagine techno getting easily tired of being surrounded by a bunch of people and just going back to his hotel room with phil and watching some anime with him? yes

and will you watch even if you have no idea what’s going on? also yes

i feel like after a while of you guys hanging out in techno’s room, the rest of the gang will just slowly join you guys

like eventually everyone is there; you, techno, phil, wilbur, niki, tommy, tubbo, ranboo, etc

and techno is like “wha– where did you guys come from?” because his room is basically packed

and niki could be like “oh we can go if you want!”

then techno just insists that she’s fine “but who let the child get in?” clearly implying tommy’s presence

“OI!!”

eventually techno gives in with the company and someone gets a bunch of board games to play from the front desk

lots of yelling and laughing for sure

when it becomes late at night, techno is like half conscious, you’re on your phone, wilbur is staring out the window & enjoying the night view, tommy is passed out on the couch from tiredness, tubbo & ranboo is still wide awake quietly talking, and phil & niki are helping clean up the giant mess

eventually everyone brings themselves to go back to their own room except tommy who won’t budge

you give techno a look and he immediately understands what you were thinking

he rushes to the bathroom to fill up two cups with ice cold water and handed one to you

“on three?”

“okay.. one”

“two”

“three!”

then both of you pour the water on the poor child’s face

he jolts awake and saying a string of curses

“what the fuck techno? y/n too?”

“get out” is the only think techno says that before tommy rushes out with his stuff and you leave right after

a/n: i honestly can’t wait until conventions open up again though,, phil and ranboo were talking about vidcon earlier and omg.

also i kinda want to take in tommy requests but i’m not sure??? it would be both cc! and c! x gn!reader for sure tho. i love writing him to bits but who knows, maybe i’ll only stick to my ideas,, or not. send in a tommy x reader request, might do it, might not, but he’s my fav cc if you can’t tell so! :D (i dunno if i will keep it strictly platonic, but unrequited crushes and stuff are fun to write hehe,,)

Some Words of Comfort.

Recently, I’ve seen a lot of people (especially those who have read spoilers/are actively searching for leaked content) lament about their future reactions to the deaths of our beloved characters in-game.

We all knew this was inevitable, and that them living was not an option for the plot of the game, but the time has finally come to face it head-on.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I understand that someone outside this community might be like “it’s just a game”, but I know it’s way more than that to many: the concept of a female villain that, to many, can be seen as sympathizable and even endearing, is a bit of a new concept— especially on such a large scale as this instance.

In addition, Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters have become a bit of a comfort item for some (with an emphasis on sapphics/wlw, from what I’ve seen personally) in the form of a large, protective, and caring hypothetical partner, or even just a maternal character one can appreciate simply because of her love for her children. Regardless, most of us are here due to some desire for comfort.

Take my own story with this community, for example:

Frankly, 2020 and the beginning of 2021 have ruined me. I lost two men who were the only two positive father figures I’ve ever had. The last of the two tested positive for covid and deteriorated within days, to the point where less than a week after testing positive, my family was making the choice to pull the plug. This all occurred days before Christmas and my birthday. On the first day of the spring semester, having not had the time to properly mourn my grandfather, my mother is in the ER for multiple days with an internal infection that doctors said likely would have turned septic if she had waited to come in any longer. This led to three surgeries throughout the next few months. (Oh, and one of my relatives quite literally dropped dead on that first day of class, too). I am also estranged from one of my parents, and they have been trying to contact my family: they have multiple untreated mental illnesses (severe NPD, bipolar, and more) and they are extremely aggressive in that state of mind and they are agitated extremely easily. That only brings more stress, along with resurfacing trauma and related emotions. Every moment of every day has been a struggle. So much so that I failed half of my classes voluntarily simply because I couldn't do them anymore.

To be perfectly honest with you, I didn’t expect to be here right now. I expected that the pain of simply moving forward would have finally overridden my fears of death and that I would have already ended my suffering by now.

Then, in late January, I saw something trending on Twitter. About a new female villain in an upcoming horror game. And it went from there.

As cheesy as it sounds, this fandom and its content seriously saved my life. In the darkest of days, I’ve come to this tag for comfort. The oddest way I found said comfort was through those who were attracted to Alcina aesthetically. I have extremely long-term trauma related to being bullied and being the victim of a hybrid catfishing/'Oreo Game' on early social media by peers in middle school to the point where I do not think of myself as being able to be loved, let alone being worthy of it. Finding this community not only provided a great form of escapism (and opened a door into a fantasy world where I could imagine my own person vampire milf gf), but also gained a little bit of self-esteem (as many of you know, I share a lot of visual qualities with Alcina. -yes, I'm still kinda freaked out about it-) via seeing people where features/attributes like mine were actively praised and desired rather than insulted and pushed away like they have been until now.

(okay sorry that kinda turned into a trauma dump but I needed to emphasize the fact that this community has seriously helped me during a really dark point in my life, and I know I can't be the only one with that sort of experience)

What I’m trying to get across here is that, like many others, this community and its content have been comforting and therapeutic, and it really is more than just a game to us. It’s entertaining and even a form of escapism in these extremely trying times. We all have some degree of PTSD from surviving a literal mass plague— and this is something we're using as a method of coping. a distraction. a coping mechanism.

With that being said, here are some ways to hopefully assist in lessening the emotional stress:

(please note that I am not a mental health professional and these may not be healthy coping mechanisms for everyone.)

Understand that it’s just a game.

I know, this sounds completely counterintuitive, but it’s more or less about keeping your level of immersion down. Personally, I can’t do scary shit in general: I have to listen to music on low volume while watching dark ARG vids at night or when I’m alone because I get too into it, and then my paranoia kicks in. Sometimes just pausing for a moment and grounding yourself/reminding yourself that this is a video game: a jumble of code and 3D rendering that doesn’t have to affect your views/headcanons if you don’t want it to. Did your favorite character just get slaughtered? Nope, that 3D rendering of them just got un-alived, that’s all.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Ignorance is Bliss/We are the Captain Now

Simple: Capcom can’t even pronounce Dimitrescu right, or even acknowledge the way it’s correctly said in Romanian culture itself. How can you trust them to give you a perfect canon? That’s the thing: with that logic, you can’t. What they say is true means little (if anything, for that matter) to your headcanons and preexisting ideas of the Dimitrescus. In short: fuck ‘em.

I’m currently seeking a double major in pop culture, and one of the cool things I’ve learned so far is affirmational vs transformational fandom. Affirmational is where official canon is seen as the law of the land, and followed to a T. Transformational is seen as much more inviting for audiences, allowing them to bend canon as they wish to fit their own creations. This fandom is obviously transformational, so take that game canon, rip it up, and get back to whatever you were doing.

Capcom’s canon is not the end-all, be-all. Far from it, actually.

Want to still acknowledge canon? Godmod your way out of it.

Character A died? It’d be a shame if they emerged from the rubble they 'died in' a few hours later, very beaten but alive nonetheless... how awful would it be if they sulked away, nursed their wounds, and continued to live... (/s)

Ignore it completely.

Remember: give it time. Once the game drops, there w be a wave of grief, but eventually, we as a community will recover, and get back to business as usual. Think about it like the in any way. Stay with the version in your head that makes you happy.

Get Creative!

If you're into creating fanart, writing fics, or even just posting a list of headcanons, take some advice from the late Carrie Fisher: "Take your broken heart, and make it into art". Make the fluff oneshot of your dreams! Draw the fanart you've been wanting to! dump lighthearted headcanons into the tags! Not only will it cheer you up, but sharing it with the community will spread the love!

I know a lot of people are struggling with this emotionally (especially with the pandemic making entertainment like this even more important sources of escapism and coping mechanisms) and I hope that, at the very least, I was able to help comfort one person who reads this.

Remember: give it time. Once the game drops, there will be a wave of grief, but eventually, we as a community will recover, and get back to business as usual. Think about it like the flowers that bloom after major wildfires: after a period of loss, some beautiful can still come of it.

Sweet Pea & Fangs//lovable idiots

Request: Hey could you do a poly with fangs, sweet pea, and reader where Fangs was out getting food while reader was asleep on SP. But then she woke up & started trying to get SP riled up so he sent a vid of her giving him a hickey to Fangs but once he actually made it home she was too hungry and told him he can wait. Lazy weekends are the best, especially when they’re spent with your favourite people.

You, Sweet Pea and Fangs have done nothing all weekend. You’ve spent your days cuddling on the sofa watching rubbish tv or reading, and the nights have been spent doing the exact same. You just drag yourselves from the sofa to the bed at around midnight.

However, on Sunday afternoon, Fangs is sent out to find food. Its decided with a quick game of rock, paper, scissors between him and Sweet Pea as your fast asleep, enjoying a nap.

Sweet Pea celebrates quietly, trying his hardest not to wake you while he does a little dance.

Fangs grumbles to himself while he drags himself up and off the sofa. He slips his shoes on, grabs his jacket and presses a soft kiss to yours and Sweet Pea’s forehead.

“Love you!” Sweet Pea calls quietly after him, and even though he’s annoyed, he can’t keep the small smile off his face as a blush creeps up his neck.

“Enough to go instead?” He wonders, hanging half inside the door.

“No.”

“Well fuck off then.” He huffs, swinging the door closed behind him. Sweet Pea lets out a small chuckle, watching him as he walks in front of the house and the two of them send sarcastic smiles and small waves that evolve into just flipping each other off.

Sweet Pea sighs contently, shifting slightly and cuddling you closer. Soft snores slip past your lips making him laugh a little and text Fangs about how you still insist that you don’t snore, before he settles on watching whatever’s on the tv.

Ten minutes pass and he’s resorted to scrolling through Twitter, rolling his eyes when he see’s Fangs tweeting about how mean his boyfriend is for making him go to Pop’s. He replies, saying its usually either himself or you going to get food for him and if he doesn’t shut up, he’s changing the locks while he’s out.

“Where did Fangs go?” You ask and look around the living room confused.

When you fell asleep, you were cuddled into Sweet Pea and Fangs was on the other side of you, using your body as a pillow. But now you’ve woken up cold and missing a boyfriend.

“He went to get food.” He replies, tightening his grip around you and locking his phone. A bright smile lightens up your face as you think about the possibility of food.

“Pop’s?”

“What do you think?” He replies, sending you a look making you giggle.

“How long’s he been gone for?” You sit up and stretch, a yawn escaping your lips and Sweet Pea takes the opportunity to poke his fingers in your mouth. You cough and bat his hand away, giving him a hard glare while he just laughs. “I hate it when you do that.”

“It’s to establish dominance.” He shrugs, sitting back and opening Twitter up again.

“I’m sure there are other ways that you could that, that don’t involve you violating me when I yawn.”

“The only other thing I can think of is peeing and I don’t think any of us want that.”

“Isn’t that for territory? And no, we don’t.”

“Then the yawning violation stays.” He shrugs and you stare at him annoyed. “Sorry, I don’t make the rules.”

“I’m pretty sure you do.” You reply, your eyes narrowing as you look back at him.

“Oh, well.” He says, sending you a cheeky smile before going back to his phone.

You lie back, resting your head on his shoulder as he scrolls through Twitter. The two of you sit in a comfortable silence, laughing every few seconds and the occasional comment of ‘thats you’ or ‘us.’

You soon get bored, so you look up at Sweet Pea, now completely engrossed in some stupid video and you get an idea. You move, so you’re kneeling on the sofa beside him, and lean down, pressing open mouthed kisses to the exposed parts of his neck and chest.

The video is soon forgotten, completely focussing on you as you continue to move, settling on his lap and tangling your fingers in his hair. His breathing hitches when you start to suck and his eyes flutter shut, soft, breathy moans escaping from his lips.

“What are you doing?” He mumbles, his voice low when he looks at you.

You pull away at the two of you make eye contact, his face flushes and he shifts in his seat, only now suddenly aware of where your sitting.

“I’m busy.” You shrug and run your fingers up and down his chest. Your other hand stays in his hair, and you give it a tug making him moan again. “Is that okay?” You whisper in his ear and he nods eagerly. “Good.” You usual smile is back and he can’t help himself smile at the sight..

You go back to littering hickeys across his chest, painting his skin with purples and deep red and it passes the time exceptionally quickly. So quickly in fact that just as you’re about to take his shirt off, the front door swings open and Fangs comes running in, breathless and waving a takeout bag around.

You and Sweet Pea just stare at him while he gets his breath back

“I’m back! I got Sweet Pea’s video and I’m back!.” He pants, handing you the bag and you take it eagerly, climbing off Sweet Pea’s lap and sitting beside him instead.

“We can see that.” Sweet Pea laughs, taking his food from you.

“Fangs you’re the best!” You say and he sits beside you, a small smirk on his lips. “What video though?”

“Nothing.” Fangs and Sweet Pea share a look that makes you stare at them suspiciously. “Anyway, I’m the best. So erm, what do I get in return?”

“You can have a fry?” You reply, offering him the bag. Sweet Pea steals a couple making you roll your eyes and throw one at him.

“I already had a ton on the way back.” He shakes his head and both you and Sweet Pea let out irritated huffs.

“What?” You ask and he just gives you an awkward smile.

“Nothing.” He shakes his head. “I wanted what Sweet Pea got.”

“Sorry, too hungry. You took to long.”

“Hey, we had a deal. We’re all treated equally in this relationship.” He complains.

“You are. But there are some things that I love more than you and Sweet Pea combined.” You reply, looking between the two of them.

“There is?” Sweet Pea asks concerned but you wave him off.

“Like what?” Fangs asks.

“Pop’s fries. So if you want anything, I suggest you do it to yourself.” You pat his thigh a few times before going back to eating.

“It’s never the same.” He huffs, crossing his arms and you and Sweet Pea share a look as the two of you hold in a laugh.

“What?”

“Have you just admitted to giving yourself hickeys?” Sweet Pea asks.

“What? No!”

“Fangs...” You add, your voice gentler than Pea’s. He quickly looks away, staring at his hands before mumbling quietly under his breath.

“Like one time, years ago...What? I wanted to impress Sweet Pea.”

“Awww.” Sweet Pea blushes and you shake your head at the two of them.

“And you thought giving yourself a hickey was the best way to go about that?”

“He didn’t know I’d done it to myself.” He defends and you raise an eyebrow.

“I did wonder why it was on your arm.” Sweet Pea says making you laugh loudly before staring at them in disbelief.

“Okay its official. I’m dating a pair of idiots.”

“A pair of lovable idiots?” Sweet Pea adds, nudging you gently.

“I suppose you are very lovable yes.”

“Enough to stop eating for like two minutes?” Fangs says and Sweet Pea sends him a look.

“Two minutes? Really? You must really disappoint her.”

“It doesn’t disappoint you.” He retorts making Sweet Pea cough awkwardly and start eating again. “And thats not what I meant. It takes less than two minutes to bite my neck. Please, I need attention.”

“Sorry Fangs. Busy.” You say simply making him sigh loudly.

“I can give you hickeys.” Sweet Pea suggests and you stop eating, looking between the two of them.

“That works for me?” You shrug and take a sip from your drink.

“Yeah, okay.” Fangs agrees. He stands and pulls Sweet Pea up with him, the two of them making their way upstairs.

“Have fun.” Sweet Pea says.

“You too.” You call after them. “I’ll join you when I’m finished.”

“I think we’re good thanks.” Fangs shouts, running up the rest of the stairs while Sweet Pea follows and you stop eating, now feeling less hungry and more annoyed.

“Hey! What happened to equal?!”

If your quarantine has been anything like mine, Harry Styles content has been the only thing getting you through. At the beginning of the national lockdown, he created a line of shirts and donated the proceeds to coronavirus charities. And last month, he showed solidarity with the Black Lives Matter protests by marching in L.A. and posting about the cause on Instagram. Even more recently, he recorded a sleep story for the Calm app because his fans had been begging for one for so long. Basically, he's been doing what he can during this crazy time, and it's a delight to see.

But back on May 18 (approximately two centuries ago ago), when the sexy and fruit-filled “Watermelon Sugar” music video dropped, Twitter rightfully lost its collective mind. Watching the video was an ~experience~, and it made me wonder what it was like being in it. You know, feeding Harry watermelon, running in the ocean with him, and cracking jokes as the sun set. The video dropped during a time when people were supposed to be avoiding any personal contact. Watching Harry and all the other people in the video rolling around with each other felt almost voyeuristic, and it made me miss living in a time even just a few months ago when touching other people wasn't so scary.

I hadn't stopped thinking about the video in the weeks since, so I decided to do some digging. For your reading pleasure, I talked to five models about the juicy (heh, get it?) details of being in the video.

Most of us scroll through the ’gram to see pics of Harry, but these ladies’ feeds landed them the gig. After putting out a call, the casting director scouted every model on Insta, sending them DMs if they thought they’d be a good fit. Many of them didn't even know the shoot was with Harry at first, only finding out it was him the literal night beforehand.

"I was immediately down to do it when I found out was him," model Elizabeth Tyson says.

Unlike us normal people, these girls balance their day jobs with, you know, spending time with Harry Styles. “I actually didn't even ask my boss if I was going to get [the day] off [for the shoot],” laughs model Mercy Odima, who is also a nanny. “I just replied, and I was like, ‘Yeah. I will be there.’”

That was back in January, and the girls had to keep their mouths shut for literal months until the video premiered on May 18. Can you imagine not being able to tell a single soul about the way Harry suggestively eats a watermelon slice?

By the end of the day, after countless shots where models were not-so-subtly licking watermelon slices and shoving their face (and Harry's) with the very-dense fruit, these ladies could 100 percent live without the watermelon sugar high. “We were like, ‘I can never eat a watermelon ever again!’—we were all sticky, it was dripping,” says Elizabeth. “They must have gone through a hundred watermelons for that shoot.”

And not all of it was so sweet: “I said something like, ‘Did you know that watermelon is actually kind of bad for you if you eat a lot of it? It’s bad for your digestive system,’” Maris says she told Harry. “He was like, ‘Oh, really? I’ve never heard that before.’”

Looking sexy while you feel like Bloat City is a challenge, to be sure. “The last part was us running up and down the beach at sunset,” Maris says. “I had just eaten probably a whole watermelon at that point. I was just praying it didn't come across—I just felt so uncomfortable.”

If it looks like the video is just a massive group hang with friends rolling around on the sand and making orgasmic faces into the camera, that’s because it basically was. “Everything was genuine,” Ephrata says. “They weren't like ‘now laugh’ or ‘now go crazy.' A lot of our scenes are actually us talking.”

Other scenes, though, had more direction. “There was a moment where the directors were like, ‘Okay, we want it to be kind of like an LSD trip,’” Maris laughs. We'll let you try to figure out which scene that is, because, TBH, it could have been any of them.

Overall, all the models agreed it was an incredibly chill experience. “It was probably one of the most natural shoots I've ever been on,” model Aalany McMahan says.

As if there weren’t enough about Harry Styles to fawn over, he also has top-notch nail polish game, as many people know. He ended up matching with one of the models on the set and it became an inside joke.

“Me and him literally had the same polish on,” Ephrata remembers. “We started laughing, and he was like, ‘I think yours is more like a coral.’” Before long, it became an on-set debate: “Everybody was trying to decide what color our nails were,” she laughs.

ICYMI, Harry was recently knighted a “consent king” for asking before he touched Ephrata’s hair. “[The directors] were like ‘You can play with her hair!’ And then he was like, ‘Wait wait wait, are you even cool with that? Is that okay? Are you comfortable with that?’” she remembers.

It meant a lot to her that he took that second to check in (and she later asked him if it was okay to kiss him on the cheek). “That was a moment on set where I was taken aback for just a second, and was like, ‘Wow, he really cares if I’m comfortable. He cares if the other models are comfortable,’” she says.

It goes without saying that a Harry Styles music video is guaranteed to be flirty. I mean, this shoot required the models to lay all over Harry, rest their heads on his shoulders, sexily feed him, etc. Those vibes didn’t stop when the cameras did.

During breaks in shooting, Harry—ever the gentleman—asked the group of models where they were all from. Maris said Wisconsin, which piqued Harry’s attention. “He goes, in his very British accent, ‘Oh, you’re from Wisconsin? Are you a Packers fan?’” she laughs. “I was like, ‘Yes, duh, I’m a Packers fan!’”

Later, as the sun went down on the Malibu beach, Maris tried (unsuccessfully) to hide how cold she was in her bikini. It was January, remember? “In between takes, he kept asking me if I was okay, cause I was shivering,” she reveals. “He was making jokes, like, ‘Oh, you're from Wisconsin, you should be able to deal with this!”

But even for a music video for a song is probably definitely about oral sex, it only went so far as flirting. “There was a group of us who were trying to get him to go out to dinner, but he had plans with someone else,” Maris says. Have fun spiraling while trying to figure out who that someone might be!

Considering his entire brand is "treat people with kindness," it's no surprise Harry was nice on set. That energy started right at the beginning of the shoot. “He was nice enough to come and say 'hi' to us even before we started shooting,” Ephrata recalls. “He came and shook everybody's hand and gave us hugs and was like, ‘Hi, I'm Harry,’ and I was like, ‘Yeah, I know.’”

Throughout the shoot, Elizabeth says he would have conversations, ask questions, and joke around with the models. “Most people, when they hit cut, they just sit there quietly, they don’t interact with you, but he definitely did,” she says. “He’s so laid back. He’s so funny, sweet—he has a personality.”

Many of the models expressed that it was this experience that made them full-fledged stans: “After working with him, I was definitely a bigger fan,” Ephtata says. Welcome to the club, ladies!

After recently announcing her debut album Flaw Flower is due June 25 via Illegal Data, London-based musician Harriet Zoe Pittard, aka Zoee, is sharing another slice of her multi-faceted art-pop sounds with her new single'Host'. Speaking about the track, Zoee said "‘Host’ describes the disconcertingly replicant-like nature of a once starry-eyed lover who becomes increasingly detached. The video is inspired by The Twilight Zone and was shot on location in a forest close to where I grew up in Berkshire."

Nashville-based songwriter Madi Diaz releases 'Nervous,' a new single about recognizing unhealthy coping mechanisms. The song’s frank lyrics are bellied by infectious guitar and Diaz’s buoyant voice: “I know why I lie to myself // I’m not really looking to get healthy // I have so many perspectives I’m losing perspective I make me nervous.” The accompanying video was shot in Nashville and directed by Jordan Bellamy. It was inspired by and includes an homage to the final scene of Andrei Tarkovsky's film The Stalker, a film that has always resonated with Diaz through its otherworldly nature, as well as its thoughtful and often anxiety inducing pace. “You know when you hold a mirror up to a mirror and you get an infinite amount of reflections from every angle? That’s what ‘Nervous’ is about,” says Diaz. “It’s when you’re in a loop of looking at yourself from every vantage point until you’re caught up in your own tangled web of bullshit. It’s about catching yourself acting out your crazy and you’re finally self-aware enough to see it, but you’re still out of your body enough and curious enough to watch yourself do it.”

Buzzy duo XVOTO have announced that their eagerly-awaited debut EP will be arriving on June 4 on One Two Many. Sharing new single ‘Friends’ alongside the news, Jazz Alonso explains that the track is rooted in “the people who have irreversibly changed you and then having to pretend you’re unphased by them when you’re in the same room. Meanwhile you’re trying to work out what your new boundaries are: can you talk about the past? Can you cry together? Telenova's new-arriving single 'Tranquilize' makes it two-from-two for the band, deeper solidifying their rich blend of sounds while showing how it can move into further areas, taking on new energies - or emphasising other energies - as more songs come to light. He pauses, then looks up at Joan across from him, sitting on a chair in Picani’s office. “Hey, what if we did a livestream tomorrow?”

He still feels bad for having gone MIA for a week. Or, as MIA as Thomas ever really went. He’d texted Joan, Camden, and Talyn basically every day to tell them he still wasn’t feeling his best. It wasn’t… a total lie, he’d told himself despite the guilt that sat uncomfortably in his stomach. It definitely hadn’t helped that he’d consequentially been postponing finishing up the filming of Cartoon Therapy due to his absence. It had been a couple of weeks now without any video to post on either channel.

Joan looks up from laptop poised across their lap. “Uh, I can do that. As long as it ends before 6, ‘cause my piano lesson starts at 6:30.”

Thomas smiles. “Perfect. I just feel bad for making them wait, y’know?” To make up for it, he adds to the tweet, we’ll be having a Livestream tomorrow at 4! Open to everyone, not just members. Hope to see you all there!

“You can’t help that you got sick,” Joan replies as Thomas sends the tweet out. “They understand.”

“Yeah, but… y’know.” Thomas lifts a shoulder. “I just wanna do something for them.”

“It’s cool, man,” Joan replies. “I think it’s a good idea. And it’ll give us a nice break from the editing and shit.”

“Speaking of—” Thomas grabs the pen and journal prompts from the bookcase behind him—"how’s Camden handling his part of things? I haven’t talked to him about the vid in a while.”

“I think he’s almost done,” Joan replies. “We just gotta finish the last of Picani and we should have the rest of the footage he needs to finish his section.”

Thomas nods and adjusts the knot in the pastel green tie around his neck. It had seemed like every time they’d tried to film the rest of Picani, something got in the way. Thomas loved acting and he loved the filming stage of videos, but a small part of him just wanted to be done with it. The sooner he could be done filming, the sooner he could focus on… more pressing issues.

“Then let’s finish Picani,” Thomas says lightly. “We’ve just got the last scene with Valerie’s character, right?”

Joan nods. “Yep. Shouldn’t take long at all.”

“Awesome.” Thomas glances in the viewfinder and pushes the bangs that were falling into his eyes out of the way. “Ready when you are.”

Joan hits record on the camera, then looks down at their script. “I have to be the adult, y’know?”

Thomas taps his pen against his mouth, looking carefully at Valerie’s sightline. “You know, Elena… Danny’s older sister feels that way for much of the show, too.”

“What do you mean?”

“Well, Jazz is only a couple of years older than Danny. But she often feels like she has to be the adult in the family because she sees her parents as a bit… immature.” Thomas leans forward slightly. “So she acts way older than she really is. But that mentality ends up backfiring on her when she takes it a little too far.”

“Too far?”

Thomas places his pen on top of his journal in his lap. “In Season 2 Epsiode 7, Danny has to fight a ghost that can only be seen by kids while he’s on vacation with his family. Since Jazz acts and thinks of herself as an adult even though she’s only 16, she can’t see the ghost and starts to think—along with her parents—that Danny is going crazy.” Thomas pauses, remembering that they’d wanted to cut in with a video clip there. Then he continues. “Though her concern is well-intentioned, it leads her to trapping Danny and the ghost goes after their parents. It’s not until Danny is able to get Jazz to act like a kid again that she’s able to see the ghost, and ultimately help to save her family.”

Joan rolls their eyes to keep in character as they read Valerie’s lines. “Fine, but my family’s not under attack by ghosts.”

Thomas sighs. “You’re right. But the point is that Jazz thought acting like an adult was helping the people around her, when it really wasn’t. When she actually started acting her age was when she was able to be the most help—especially to her little brother, who was the whole reason she’d been acting so much older in the first place.”

“Huh…”

“From that point on,” Thomas continues, “Jazz tries to find a balance. She’s a mature person, and nobody was asking her to change that. But she also comes to understand the importance of still being a kid. She learns how to balance the two in a way that doesn’t ask her to sacrifice any part of who she is.”

Joan pauses. “I… guess I could try that. Maria isn’t a little kid anymore, even though I still think of her as my baby sister.”

Thomas gives a small, encouraging smile. “It’ll take some time. Learning balance is not as easy as flipping a switch. But it’s something we can continue to work on. It might even help your relationship with your sister in ways you don’t expect.”

Joan gives a single nod. “I’d like that.”

“Great!” Thomas grins. “So I’ll see you next week?”

“Definitely. And… thanks, Dr. Picani.”

“Any time, Elena.”

…

“We can tell them. Should we tell them? We can tell them. I think. Wait…”

Thomas laughs as Joan stumbles through their thoughts about half an hour in to the livestream. He laughs even harder when he sees the chat blowing up with people asking Joan to just say it already. They’d decided to go back to Thomas’s apartment for the livestream, if only for sake of tradition. Not every livestream had been from this location, but Thomas wanted some of the normalcy back. And Joan, though they’d seemed puzzled, didn’t appear to mind.

“I’m good to tell them who it is,” Thomas says.

“Wait, who as in the…” Joan arches an eyebrow. “Or…” They tilt their head. Perhaps strangely enough, Thomas knows exactly what they’re asking.

He laughs again. “Real name, not the character name.”

“Yeah, okay. That’s what I was thinking.” Thomas and Joan both look back at the camera.

“It’s Valerie,” Thomas says. “The new character we’re introducing is played by my friend, Valerie. Some of you probably know her, since she’s been in… a good number of our videos. We got really lucky that the schedules worked out, since she’s auditioning in Orlando at the moment.”

“Yeah, she’s actually been in a lot,” Joan says. They start counting on their fingers. “Reasons to Smile.”

“On the Spot in the Spotlight,” Thomas supplies. “Which we’re still planning on bringing back.”

“The first Tongue Twisted.” Joan snaps their fingers and points at him. “She’s been in a few of your shorts videos, too.”

“I feel like we’re missing something.” Thomas glances at the chat and smiles at the people shouting SANDERS SIDES in all caps. “That’s right! Goodness gracious, she was in two of the Sanders Sides videos.” He shakes his head. “Sorry, guys. Guess I’m still a little out of it.”

He manages a small, apologetic smile. But a moment later, there’s a flood of messages in the chat telling him not to worry, asking if he’s feeling better, reminding him to rest and drink water… he feels a sharp twist of guilt. He tries not to linger on it.

“Let’s see… other questions….” He watches the chat closely, the knot in his stomach loosening slightly as the messages filter from well wishes to questions again. One of them makes him frown. “Someone’s asking if I’ve seen the Ekko videos?” He glances over his shoulder towards Joan. “I haven’t. Is that a new thing? I don’t know if I’ve heard of them.”

Joan looks suddenly uncomfortable. They shrug, but its awkward and forced. “Yeah. It was all anyone was talking about a couple days ago.”

Thomas hadn’t been checking social media over the past week. A part of him felt relieved that they’d at least moved on from trying to identify who “Spider-Man” was. “What are they?”

Joan gives him a quick look. “I’ll… tell you after the livestream.” Thomas couldn’t quite read their expression, but there was a warning look in their eyes that made him nod his agreement. Whatever it was, Joan didn’t want to talk about it with an audience. They wanted to change the subject.

At Thomas’s nod, Joan leans forward to read the scrolling chat feed until they find a different question. Thomas glances at the screen as well, and sees a few questions with “Spider-Man” in them—they go too fast for him to identify what exactly they’re asking—and feels himself tense. Joan doesn’t seem to even notice the questions.

“Here’s one,” they say after a brief pause. “Thomas, if you could be any kitchen appliance, what would you be?”

As the livestream continues, Thomas finds himself falling into old, comforting habits. He’d always had fun doing livestreams, especially ones with Joan. He appreciated their ability to be thoughtful and intellectual one moment and crack a joke that would make Thomas’s stomach hurt from laughing the next. A part of him feels like he appreciates it now more than ever. Joan is his best friend, and he can tell them anything.

Well… almost.

The idea of telling them about the recent… abilities Thomas had come to acquire made his stomach squirm and his heartbeat quicken. He couldn’t quite explain why. Joan would probably be skeptical—even Thomas hadn’t believed it at first—but the powers were something he could prove, a voice that sounded an awful lot like Logan reminded him. He’d been proving his abilities to himself all week, after all. Maybe he knew there was a chance that Joan would freak out and never talk to him again. They wouldn’t do that. The thought sounds like Patton.

Even so, something whispers safer to not tell them in the back of his mind, and Thomas can’t help but believe it.

“I gotta go soon,” Joan says. They look at Thomas. “Should we end with Mind Meld or something?”

Thomas pushes his bangs out of his eyes. He smiles. “Yeah, let’s do it.” Thomas pauses, thinking of his first word. “Okay. Ready?”

“Yeah.”

“3. 2. 1. Giant,” Thomas chimes at the same time that Joan says, “Apple.”

Thomas laughs. “Giant and apple?” He makes a face. “I don’t even know where to go with that.”

Joan grins in amusement, then thinks. “Okay. I think I have one. Super and apple.”

Thomas stares at them in uncertainty before he gets an idea. “Okay. I do too. It’s kinda weird, though.”

“3. 2. 1. Honeycrisp,” Joan says at the same time Thomas spits out, “New York.”

“I was thinking like, a giant apple. New York?” Joan laughs. It makes Thomas laugh too.

“I was thinking like, ‘giant as in ‘big’ and then—”

“And then you went to Big Apple,” Joan finishes. “Okay. I kind of get that. Honeycrisp and New York. Uh.”

Thomas’s eyes widen as he frantically tries to think of some sort of connection before one occurs to him. “Okay! I think I got one. It’s… broad-ish?”

“Broadish?” Joan starts laughing again. “That’s very helpful.”

“Okay, like,” Thomas waves a hand. “Kinda broad.”

Joan furrows their brow before shrugging. “What the heck. 3. 2. 1.”

Thomas says ‘vendor’ and Joan says ‘food’. It takes another round before they both eventually end up saying ‘restaurant’. Thomas grins when they finally get there. He looks back at the camera.

“Took us a minute but we got there! Thanks for sticking around, guys. This was a lot of fun. Super glad we had the chance to do this.” He glances at the chat, laughing at all the reactions of people playing along. In the midst of the messages—some of them now transitioning to sweet goodbyes—he sees one that catches his eye.

Something uncomfortable sits in Thomas’s chest, but he flashes a quick smile at the camera. “Love you all! Bye!”

He stops the livestream and closes his laptop. Joan sits back in their chair, the spark of amusement from the game of mind meld fades out of their eyes. He’s reminded suddenly of the solemn, uncomfortable look Joan had given him when he’d asked during the livestream about whatever the ‘Ekko video’ was about.

“I saw that message. I know what you’re thinking,” Joan chimes in quietly after a moment. “It’s… not something you really wanna watch, dude. Trust me.”

“Why?”

Joan sighs and reaches for their water bottle. “It’s just… this thing that freaked everyone out. I don’t know how to explain it, but Talyn had nightmares after they watched it.” They take a drink. “I think it’s just someone trying to get some attention. The best thing to do is probably not to give it to them, y’know?”

Thomas nods absently as Joan pushes back from the table and heads towards the kitchen. Talyn didn’t really spook easily. They played horror games for fun in the dark alone. Thomas had never really been that kind of person. But he can’t deny that he’s curious. A part of him does want to know, if only out of a morbid kind of curiosity of what could have that kind of impact on his friends. Even though Joan had talked about Talyn’s reaction, it was clear to Thomas that it had bothered them too.

Dishes clatter in the sink as Joan sets the water bottle they’d borrowed from Thomas amongst the plates and bowls that Thomas hadn’t gotten around to cleaning yet. Neither of them said anything, letting the whir of the AC unit fill the uncomfortable silence between them. Something about it had gotten under Joan’s skin. Something they weren’t telling Thomas.

Thomas opens his mouth to ask them about it when Joan interrupts him suddenly. “I don’t know, man. It was weird and it felt like a warning of some sort. Maybe that’s why Talyn and I both felt a little paranoid after we watched it.” Their dark eyes flicker up to Thomas as they turn from the sink to look at him through the cut out opening above the counter into the living room. “I just don’t really want to dwell on it.”

Thomas caves and nods. “Okay.”

“But if you want to do another Reasons to Smile, that might be fun. A few people in the chat were suggesting it. Maybe that’d be a good idea.” They cross back into the living room and grabs their jacket from the back of the chair.

“Sure,” Thomas says, still a little lost in his thoughts. What could be so bad about that video? “Yeah, I’ll reach out to Camden and the team and whoever is in town to see if they might wanna join in. Maybe I can get Lee or Mary Lee to join this time.”

“Cool.” Joan stops after they’ve pulled their jacket on. Thomas can feel their gaze on him. “You okay?”

Thomas blinks and shakes his head to clear it. “Yeah. Just worried,” he says honestly. He offers a faint smile. “You and Talyn don’t usually get freaked out easily.”

Joan gives him a look. “We have anxiety,” they deadpan teasingly. Thomas huffs a laugh, even though it does little to expel the tightness in his chest. Joan sighs softly. “Really, Thomas. We’re okay.”

Thomas nods again. “Okay.”

“I gotta run,” Joan says, sounding faintly apologetic. “I’m gonna be late for my lesson.”

Thomas gives them a smile that he hopes is reassuring. “Go. Love you.”

“Love you too.” Joan closes the door behind them.

…

Thomas slips his phone into the back pocket of his jeans and cranes his neck up towards the night sky. It’s little late to be posting the Sunday Shout-Out video, but he liked the nighttime. The parking lot is empty except for his car, and even though he knows he ought to just go home given the hour, a part of him wants to stay out just a little longer.

Thomas sighs and jumps up on the trunk of his car and sits. He fold his hands behind his head and leans back against the windshield, looking up at the stars. Most of them are drowned out by the streetlights that illuminate the lot, but Thomas doesn’t mind. A cool breeze plays with the ends of his hair. It’s calming.

Thomas sighs and closes his eyes.

“I really ought to insist that you go home before too much longer, Thomas.”

The internet personality smiles faintly at the sound of his Logical Side’s voice. He cracks an eye open to find Logan standing beside the car, his arms crossed over his chest and an eyebrow cocked. Thomas’s lips curl up in a faint smile.

“I know, Logan.”

“If you know, then why do you appear to be falling asleep in the middle of an abandoned parking lot?”

Thomas sits up. “I wasn’t falling asleep.”

Logan hums, seemingly unconvinced. “All the same. Optimal rest is necessary for you to maintain a healthy lifestyle.”

“I know.” Thomas shakes his head a little, still smiling, and leans back again. “But this is nice.”

“This?” Thomas can hear the skepticism and confusion in Logan’s voice and tries not to laugh.

“Yes,” Thomas replies. He shifts over. “Take a seat. Try it out for yourself.”

There’s a brief pause, and Thomas isn’t sure whether or not Logan is going to take him up on the offer. Then Logan climbs up on the car, mirroring Thomas’s position beside him except for the folding his hands across his stomach rather than behind his head. Thomas smiles again. He’s a little surprised, although he supposes he shouldn’t be. Logan was the part of him that sought to learn, after all. And if Logan didn’t understand the appeal of something, he could usually be convinced to try it at least once.

“See?” Thomas says after a moment. “It’s nice.”

Logan doesn’t reply right away. “Perhaps.”

“The whole day was kind of nice, actually,” Thomas continues. He lets his eyes drift closed again. “It felt… normal.”

“Normal is a widely subjective term, Thomas.”

“Normal for me, I mean.” He takes in a deep breath of the night air. “Filming, livestreaming, hanging out with Joan. I think maybe I needed that. I needed a day to just be… normal again. Maybe not everything has to change, y’know?”

Logan doesn’t say anything. Thomas feels him shift beside him and he cracks an eye open. Logan is looking up at the sky. The streetlights reflect off the lens of his glasses. A short gust of wind tugs at the end of his stiped tie. There’s something in his expression that Thomas can’t quite read.

He doesn’t dwell on it. Thomas follows Logan’s gaze back up to the sky. “Do you remember,” Thomas asks, “when I was like, seven and wanted to be an astronaut?”

“Yes,” Logan replies. “I do remember that. It was an aspiration that lasted for nearly a full year.”

Thomas glances over at him. “Do you wish I still wanted that?”

Logan adjusts the frame of his glasses before folding his hands across his stomach again. “I don’t believe it’s that simple. I was more than content at your chosen field, Thomas, short-lived as your use of it may have been.”

“You’re talking about chemical engineering.”

“Indeed.” Logan is still looking up at the sky above them. “Although, such fields of study have many unexpected benefits. Perhaps it will prove useful yet.”

The corner of Thomas’s lips curls up in a faint smile. “Perhaps,” he says, echoing Logan from a moment ago. A comfortable silence settles between them. For all the times that Logan and Thomas had been at odds with each other, he’d never doubted that Logan was doing his best to look out for him, just like all of them always did. Most of the time, Thomas found Logan’s company a quiet kind of grounding. Calming. Tonight was no exception to that.

Thomas listens to the crickets and sound of distant car tires rolling on pavement for a long moment. His eyes drift shut again.

“You are getting tired,” Logan says softly, moments before Thomas was about to fall asleep. “I really must insist that you go home to ensure your safety.”

Thomas blinks his eyes open and sits up. He scrubs a hand across his eyes, bangs falling across his face in the process, and smiles tiredly at Logan as the Logical Side sits up beside him.

“You got it, Logan.” He pauses, the smile a little. “And… thanks.”

So, I have a story idea for My Hero Academia that I’ve been wanting to bounce off of someone for a while now. You always seem pretty cool in asks and have a lot of fun AU’s, so I’d thought I’d ask you.

Izuku has gotten pretty used to people dismissing his quirk ramblings by the time he’s a pre-teen. Then one day he comes across a video online of someone talking about a hero’s quirk and sort of picking it apart, just like he does every day. He sees that the video has gotten a good amount of views and positive feedback, and it bolsters him to know that people out there do like to talk about this stuff. He notices something a bit off about one of the observations the person makes though, and feels bold enough to leave a comment about it. The person messages him back saying that the Izuku actually had a really good point, and that maybe he should make a video about it himself. And Izuku becomes inspired to do just that.

His first videos aren’t great, mainly just recordings of his usual mutterings. Some comments are mean about it, but a few provide constructive criticism about how he could make the videos better and make his point better understood. Izuku starts putting more planning into the videos, doing a bit of research and actually writing out scripts for himself, and they start to get better. A couple episodes get recognized by older and more popular channels, and that causes Izuku’s channel to become more well known.

Izuku is thrilled to have people who actually approve of his hobby, even if he’s never actually met them. He starts to recognize certain regulars, especially ones that leave comments that lead to discussions among the viewers and himself. Some people leave mean comments of course, but they never really say anything worse than Kacchan already does.

After his channel gains a certain amount of notoriety, people start to leave comments asking about his own quirk. He’s analyzed so many others, what does he have to say about his own? Izuku doesn’t want to tell them he is quirkless, because he’s afraid that they will take him less seriously or stop watching all together if they know, just like most everyone else has done. He doesn’t feel comfortable just ignoring it though.

One day when he’s having lunch his glass does that thing where water condenses in just the right way at the base of a glass that it starts sliding on it’s own, and he gets an idea. He can make people think he has a quirk. He’s mentioned in previous videos what type of quirks his parents had, so people would believe he has some kind of telekinesis. He practices enough that he figures out how to get the glass to slide when he wants it to, and during his next video he sets it up to slide toward his hand part way through. He acts super casual about it, and lets people think what they will.

People end up taking the bait. Izuku feels a bit guilty for the deception, but tells himself he’s not outright lying. One person comments it’s a shame he didn’t inherit his dad’s fire-based quirk, and suddenly Izuku is getting ideas. Could he find a way to make it look like he had? Would people believe it if he did? There’s only one way to find out.

After some research into sleight of hand and stage magic, Izuku is able to make it look like’s he’s accidentally coughing up smoke in one of his videos. People start debating in the comments about which is his real quirk and whether or not he could have inherited both. From there it starts to escalate. Izuku becomes curious to see how far he can push this. He keeps coming up with new quirks he could have and different ways to imply he has them. People start getting really into it. Entire threads are created trying to piece together the mystery Izuku is presenting them with. Some argue that he has an analysis quirk that he’s been using the whole time, and that he’s doing this to tease them for not realizing it. Others say he definitely has one of those quirks, and he’s challenging them to figure out which one it is. Some say he has an illusion quirk. Only a very small number put out that he might be quirkless and messing with them all.

Even with all the fake quirk shenanigans, Izuku makes sure that his video’s analysis content is still top notch. Because of this, a few students at UA end up showing one of videos to their teachers. Then some of the teachers start watching episodes that sound relevant to the topic they covering, and telling the students about it. At one point Present Mic mentions a video of Izuku’s in response to a caller question, and Izuku proceeds to lose his mind over that endorsement for a week.

In the grand scheme of things, this AU changes little. Izuku still ends up getting attacked by a sludge villain and meeting All Might. He still inherits One for All, and most of the events at school and with the League of Villains fold out in the same way. The difference is made in little things. Izuku becomes a bit more confident before UA, at least when it comes to his ability to analyze and make plans. Certain teachers recognize him during the entrance exam, and are delighted that they now know what Izuku’s ‘real’ quirk is. A number of the 1-A students recognize him, tell him how fun or useful they found his videos, and ask if he’ll give them advice later. Even some older students come up and tell him that such and such episode gave them new ideas on how to use their quirks in combat.

At the end of the day it’s not a huge difference, but all of them combined make a world of difference to Izuku.

So what do you think? I’d really like to get a more polished version down at some point, because I like the idea a lot. I do kind of worry about the whole ‘pretending to have different quirks in his videos’ part. Do you think that’s too out of character for Izuku?

AhhhH????? I would read 100k of this!! It’s super interesting, and I do like the idea of him teasing his viewers about what quirk he has. It’s a fun, harmless little thing, and if I know the internet, it would ABSOLUTELY help bring in the views lmao.

I’m super interested to see how this would affect canon though, in small but noticeable ways, how the people in his life see him.

All Might, who’s seen a couple of his vids (because at this point, who HASN’T?) despite being technologically illiterate. He’s always had a fondness for the boy who does such great quirk analyses, at the easy confidence he seems to portray in his audience, the kindness that shines through, the mischievousness, the resourcefulness in making it seem like he has all these different quirks. And then he meets Izuku, and he feels his heart break for him, and he’s amazed that even with the online fame, this boy is so genuinely modest.

There’s Aizawa, who watches all of Izuku’s videos, because having in depth knowledge of all kinds of quirks is especially important for a hero who doesn’t have a physical enhancement quirk of his own, a hero whose true strength lies in his mind. When Izuku is put into his class, Aizawa doesn’t immediately dismiss him. He knows the kid has the brains to be a truly amazing hero, and maybe now is the time for Aizawa to repay him for all the help he’s received from his videos in the past.

Imagine the sports festival - the name of his channel trending on twitter as people freak out about how the winner of the obstacle race is actually this famous youtube personality? Imagine the chaos, especially if he didn’t tell any of them that he entered UA. Or maybe he told them he entered, but didn’t specify which department

(because that seems to be Izuku’s theme these days. Now in addition to what quirk he has, people are arguing over whether or not he’s in the hero department.

“Of course he’s in heroics! He’s mentioned before how much he’s wanted to be in a hero since he was a child, you morons.”

“Just because he wants to be one doesn’t mean it’s possible for him though. He obviously has an analysis type quirk, so he’s gotta be in support or management.”)

Imagine people finally getting CLOSURE as they find out what his quirk actually is, and isn’t it so cheeky of him that the quirk he was “born with” was the one quirk he never teased in any of his videos.

He makes a sheepish apology video afterwards for nearly scaring his audience to death in his match against Todoroki, and he quietly makes his disapproval known when his fans start commenting about how that Bakugou kid is so villainous and shouldn’t have won the tournament.

Dear god, imagine the Stain incident! People seeing our boy almost carried off by a Noumu.

And once people know he’s in heroics, imagine his fans begging him to upload vlogs, the day in the life of a ua hero student. At first he refuses to, because he thinks his teachers would disapprove, but after UA’s reputation takes a hit with all the villain attacks, Izuku suggests the idea to Nedzu, to help show people that UA really is doing its all to help.

Imagine him giving a tour of class a’s dorm building, and getting ready for the cultural festival!

Imagine him meeting Gentle, and La Brava is lowkey salty about how many more views he has than them, but Gentle is quietly freaking out because he’s been a fan of Izuku’s channel since forever now???

A Fishy Dilemma: A MerJack AU Ch. 1

Sean looked up at the tall building in front of him. He had gone back to college about a year ago to become a whale biologist. And now he was just a few months away from graduating. All he had to do now was take a month long internship at a job that pertained to his major. And so here he was in front of a marine research lab called the Aquatic Genome Research Organization. AGRO for short. Apparently the place specialized in isolating specific genome sequences in aquatic species for medicinal purposes. He took a deep breath before pushing the door open and going inside.

He was greeted by a fairly nice lobby with a large fish tank full of exotic fish. A prim looking woman wearing glasses looked up at him from a desk. “Excuse me sir do you have an appointment?” She said, a look of disdain on her face when she saw his green hair. “Uh no.I’m supposed to start interning here today under Dr. Bunsen.” He replied. “Let me see your paperwork,” She sighed, clearly not in a good mood. He quickly handed her his papers, eager to get started and get far away from her. She sorted through them and tapped a few keys on her computer. “Alright everything’s in order. Please wait here while I get you a name tag. Another intern will be here shortly to take you to where you’ll be working,’” She said, getting up and going into another room off to the side. She came back out a few minutes later with a plastic clip-on name tag. She went back to her desk after handing it to him and he sat down on a chair to wait for the other intern

A few minutes later he heard the elevator ding and a girl around his age stepped out. He was surprised to see that her bangs were dyed purple and the rest of her black hair had purple and blue streaks. Well at least he wouldn’t be the only one here with dyed hair. He watched as she tucked a strand of purple hair behind her ear before glancing around the room. She started walking his direction once she spotted him. “Hi.Sean W. McLaughlin right? You’ll be interning with me under Dr. Bunsen?” She questioned. “Yeah that’s me. But feel free to call me Jack,” He said, shaking her hand. “Nice to meet you Jack. Just follow me and I’ll take you to Dr. Bunsen’s lab. You’ll be needing a lab coat but since we don’t have one specifically for you yet you’ll have to borrow an extra one,” She said, smiling and leading him to the elevator.

The stood in silence for a few moments as the elevator went down a few floors. “So, Jack. You wouldn’t happen to be Jacksepticeye would you?” She said somewhat nervously, trying to break the ice. Jack grinned. “I take it you’re a fan?” “Yeah. Been watching for about two years now. So what are you doing here?” She asked, kinda embarrassed. “Well you know the whole ‘whale biologist’ joke? I’m actually going to college to be one. Thought it might fun,” He replied. “Oh.Well that must be interesting. I’m here for extra credit on my zoology degree,” Sara said. “Whatcha studying zoology for?” Jack asked. “It’s a requirement for veterinarians if they want to work on exotic animals,” She replied. “Cool! So your gonna fix up injured animals? That’s really nice,” Jack said. “Thanks. Its been of dream of mine since fourth grade,” She said as the elevator doors opened.

She lead him over to a locker room where extra lab coats were kept. “Just grab one that fits and clip your name tag on,” She said. Jack put one on and attached the name tag. “Now I look like Doctor Shneeplestein!” He joked, putting on the goofy accent. “Well come on Shneeple, your helping me deliver samples of serum the doctors are working on to the various workstations,” Sara said, laughing. He followed her over to a table covered in various vials and beakers full of strange liquids. “We’re handing out this serum today,” She said, pointing at a batch of beakers full of a glowing, green, goo-like, liquid. The shade of green kinda reminded him of the color of a septiceye. He helped her load the vials onto a cart and they started wheeling them over to the workstations.

Awhile later a doctor asked them to take a vial over to Dr.Bunsen to take a look at. It had the same liquid as before but the doctor said they had been altering the formula. Sara was going to take it but Sean offered to deliver it for her. “Alright.Just be careful okay? There are some loose computer cables near Dr. Bunsen’s office and you do not wanna trip with that vial. Who knows what would happen if any of the serum got on you,” Sara cautioned. “I’ll be fine. I’m not that big of a clutz,” Jack said, brushing off her warning. Little did he know that, by not taking her warning seriously, he was setting himself up for a life altering accident.

He whistled casually as he walked down the sterile, white hallway, following the signs to Dr. Bunsen’s office. As he drew near the office he walked past the computer lab. A cart of laptops was by the door and several cables lay on the floor by the cart, hanging off of the laptops. He wasn’t really paying attention as he walked over them and his foot got caught on one of the cables. He stumbled, losing his grip on the vial as he put his hands out to break his fall. The vial shattered on the floor and some of the thick liquid splashed on him. His right hand landed on some of the glass and gave him a deep laceration, some of the liquid getting into the wound.

He quickly got to his feet, looking around to see if anyone had seen what happened. The halls were empty. He cleaned up the mess as fast as he could and went to the restroom to clean up his hand. He winced as he pulled out a shard of glass and rinsed out the bleeding cut. Yeah that was gonna need stitches. As he left the bathroom he ran right into Sara. He quickly tried to hide his hand behind his back but she saw the cut almost immediately, not to mention the green goo still splattered on his lab coat. “You tripped didn’t you? Ugh come on, let’s go patch up your hand,” She said, dragging him along to the medical bay. She sat him down on a cot and rummaged through some cupboards before pulling out a needle and some thread,as well as some disinfectant and gauze. The thread was the dissolvable kind typically used for stitches.

"Uh wait shouldn’t I be going to the hospital to get my stitches?“ Jack said uncertainly. “I’m perfectly qualified. Stitching up a person is no different from stitching up a dog. Besides, the nearest hospital is an hour away and that gash should be dealt with right away. The longer it’s open the more likely it is to get exposed to infectious bacteria,” Sara explained, pulling up a chair so she could sit in front of him. “If you say so,“Jack said. She seemed to be pretty knowledgeable about this so he would take her word for it.

"Alright now this is gonna sting okay? And we don’t have anything to numb you up so you will feel it when I start stitching. So try to be still and concentrate on something else,” She said as she doused some gauze in disinfectant. Sean winced as she dabbed gently at the cut. He watched her closely with his piercing blue eyes as she threaded the needle. He glanced at the floor, concentrating on cake and cookies as she started stitching him up. He saw her pants legs had ridden up slightly and was surprised to see a ton of scars on her legs, especially the right one. No wonder she knew so much about this. He couldn’t help but wonder what had happened to her to have caused them.

He was startled by Sara suddenly speaking up. “You don’t have to stare you know. You can just ask. I’ve gotten used to people’s curiosity,” She said, finishing up the last stitch. Jack looked away, embarrassed that he was caught staring. “What happened to your legs?” He finally asked, curiosity getting the better of him. “Got hit by a truck in the crosswalk on the way to school back in eleventh grade. Ended up in the hospital for nearly two months. Not the first time I’ve been to the hospital for something serious and it wasn’t the last either. I’m practically a walking medical disaster. My family jokes that I’ve been poked with needles so much that I have the veins of a druggie,” She said, joking a bit to lighten the mood.

"Wow. I’m so sorry,“ Jack said, not sure what to say. Sara shrugged. "Eh you get used to it. My medical history would put Markiplier’s to shame. And he’s been through a lot too,” She said. “So you watch Mark too huh?” He said, trying to change the subject. “Yeah. I came across you first though. It was after seeing him in a couple of your vids that I started watching him,” She replied. “Huh. Usually it’s the other way around,” Jack said, surprised. Sara put some gauze over the stitches and wrapped his hand up. “You should leave that on for a few days and change the wrapping every twenty four hours so it doesn’t get infected,” She said. Jack nodded.

The rest of the day was fairly uneventful, other than Dr. Bunsen telling him to let them know if he started experiencing anything odd so they could make sure the serum didn’t do anything to him. He recorded a couple videos after getting home and sent them off the Robin before heading to bed. That night he had a strange dream about the ocean. When he got up in the morning his hand itched like crazy. He went into the bathroom and carefully unwrapped the bandages. He was startled to see that the gash was already starting to knit itself back together. The small amount of new skin was kinda bumpy and had a slight sheen to it.

He figured his eyes were probably just playing tricks on him, taking a shower before he wrapped his hand back up again. He felt strangely rejuvenated after the shower, almost as if the water had breathed new energy into him. He scrolled through his Twitter as he sat down for his morning coffee. He smiled when he saw Sara had messaged him, she had told him her Twitter account so they could chat when not at the facility. ‘Morning!You feeling okay today?‘ Was her message.’ Yeah fine. Better than fine actually. Thanks for asking.' He messaged back. When he finished his coffee he grabbed his now goo free lab coat from the dryer and headed to AGRO.

Things were going pretty good. He helped Sara with her tasks and they had a few good laughs. They ended up eating together during their lunch break. Around two o'clock though he started to feel a little woozy. And his hand was itching something fierce again. The dizziness and nausea eventually got so bad that he had to excuse himself and go the restroom. He leaned up against the sink for support, waiting for the room to stop spinning. Getting tired of the incessant itch in his hand he tore the bandages off, the stitches coming off with the gauze. He stared at his hand in shock. The gash was completely gone. And in it’s place was a thin layer of gleaming green and blue scales.

He quickly pinched himself to see if he was dreaming. Ow! Nope, definitely not dreaming. He stared closely at his hand, inspecting it carefully under the light. Did that serum do this? He swayed as another bout of dizziness hit him. Ugh what was going on? He was about to leave the bathroom to try and get help when his legs went completely numb, falling out from beneath him. He cried out in pain when his head smacked against the tile floor. His vision was getting hazy when he heard someone calling his name.

“Jack? You okay in there? Jack? Come on answer me! Sean!?” He heard Sara shout worriedly. He called out weakly before slumping against the floor, suddenly exhausted. His whole body felt numb and tingly. He couldn’t bring himself to look when Sara burst into the room. “Oh my God! Sean!” She cried before hurrying over and kneeling down beside him. She grabbed his head in her hands and turned it so he was facing her. His eyelids felt heavy and he struggled to stay awake. “No, no, no! Stay awake Sean! Help is coming! Just stay awake!” She said, getting increasingly worried.

When she started to cry he weakly lifted his hand and brushed the tears away. She stared into his eyes and he watched as several different emotions flickered through them. He was too tired to recognize the specific emotions. His eyesight grew increasingly dark and after a few minutes he finally blacked out to the sound of people rushing into the room. He felt like he was floating in a dark, endless ocean, drifting to and fro on the waves. The feeling soothed him as his last bits of consciousness faded away.

Last Update.

So its 2020, I felt it was a time to do a clean up and review of all my on going projects / accounts online, and came across my old Tumblr Account, never did quite take off did you Tumblr (or my blog) anyway, its time for one last update.

So yes this blog is now dead, but rather than delete it I thought I might as well leave it up for people to find and for myself to maybe come back to in 10 years time (if alive :) ) and remind myself of where I was all them years ago.

Leave Reality Studio

As hopefully from my last update from nearly 2 years ago show, the leave site did get made and few project has been released under it name, AmiPad 3.1 and some web sites, it still needs a bit more work and i do feel I need to be more proactive on making new games/apps and website and pushing the brand more. I still have more ideas than time to get around to them for upcoming projects so its not a bad problem to be in. ideas has never been the problem it been implementing and spending the time turning ideas into reality which is the problem, still here to another year of trying. - https://leavereality.uk/

AmigaNG / Amiga

Still a huge Amiga fan and likely to be one for ever now really, have been working on a new web site design and update, just again time! Also AmigaNG youtube channel again loads of video ideas but so little time (it becoming a theme I think). I also have some big project ideas like making maybe a magazine in Amiga format style to just cover the new stuff in amiga world, I have done some design and work on this, but again TIME!!!!! I want to make Apps and games too this year, I’m in too minds as to weather its worth learning Hollywood better to make apps/games in or move on to something else, I mean its a great program but have hit bugs and crash (lost 2hrs of work) on new project I was doing it really made me think it wasn't worth working with.. this kinda in the backburner after I complete AmigaNG website/ maybe mag anyway.

Health

As always want to be fitter and healthier than I am, started going on longer bike rides again and cuttingdown on the fizzy pop I drink too may help. not much worst than where I was with my last update on getting healthy, so at least I did’nt slip up and get massive (there that anyway)

Other Stuff

Going to take more time doing online course and I have already really cut down on binge watching Youtube, Put it this way I would typically wake up a 6:30am (I usually have to get up for work this time so even on my days off I wake up at this time) but check emails, facebook, news and watch Youtube vid untill 9am, then get up, have a lazy breakfast usually watching news or more youtube till 10am ish, then my day might start. I’ve started to get up every day so far this year before 8am, 1hr may not seem like much but i feel better for get my day started on my days off a 9am or earlier and with that extra 1hr I’m doing my online course work, Getting a bit longer bike rides in, or getting a extra hour time to work on my website later in the day, because I got up earlier it really is better to pull back away from the trivial stuff as well online / offline I done that a lot in the last few weeks really cut back on news and more point less vids.

I’m not entirely happy with how this turned out - I struggled a lot with the effects part and I don’t really like how it looks - but I want to move on to other edits now so.

This is my first time doing a crossover vid so apologies in advance for how bad it is oops. I made it for the wlwcontest hosted by the lovely Sil. The challenge was to do a crossover with three women in a relationship (poly or love triangle), and you lost points if they were in the same show so that’s why I didn’t end up using Yumiko. But that’s okay because I plan to do a crossover/AU vid for yumagna later anyway.

I knew pretty much from the beginning that I was going to use Lagertha and Luna and I’ve been wanting to do an edit with Sokanon/Jessica for a while now so this seemed like as good a time as any. Plus when I heard Sokanon say ‘I will protect you’ I knew that was too perfect not to use it to replace the moment Astrid says it to Lagertha.

I set this in an alternate universe because Lagertha was from 12th century Norway, Sokanon was from 18th century Canada and Luna is from future North America. I’ve sort of brought them all into Lagertha’s world because that was easier. Grounder culture has a lot of similarities with viking culture in terms of the importance placed on fighting and a ‘good death’. So in this she’s not a nightblood but another famous shieldmaidon who turned away from the viking life after she got tired of all the fighting and death. Sokanon is an immortal who has been traveling the world and happens to be in Norway at the time both Lagertha and Luna exist.

They’re all girlfriends who love each other, no love triangles here because I hate those.

There ended up being a lot more lagertha in this than I planned and that’s mostly down to the fact that I had a lot more clips to work with, for similar reasons I didn’t use as much Sokanon as I wanted to because I was struggling with finding enough clips that would work for manips.

Warning, the video isn’t actually in sequential order because I was trying to match things to the lyrics as much as possible so the timeline is all over the place.

This is basically a video about fate intervening to bring three immortal women (or women who will eventually become immortal) together so that they can find love and companionship with the only other people who will live as long as them and so that they don’t spend eternity alone.

Basically, Luna leaves after Lagertha kills Aslaug because she doesn’t agree with the actions she’s taking and just wants a life of peace, she doesn’t want to fight anymore battles and she can see things slowly heading towards disaster. After the war with Ivar starts and Lagertha’s life is threatened, Sokanon goes after Luna to bring her back to help them fight the war. Luna can’t turn her back on her family while they’re in danger and reluctantly returns. She ends up dying in the war and Sokanon also loses one of her people to it. Lagertha and Sokanon then build a life away from war and politics on a farm with Lagertha’s grandchildren. Lagertha is killed shortly after her grandson Hali is killed in a raid. She is then reborn as an immortal and her and Sokanon spend the next centuries together.

In modern time, Lagertha is surfing the web and comes across photos of Luna and learns she’s alive. However, still feeling responsible for her death, she doesn’t seek her out. Sokanon, who is tired of her girlfriends’ being at odds and just wants her family back together tracks down Luna herself. Luna reveals to her that she has the ability to regenerate every time she dies if she’s pregnant (stealing this from Spring, but unlike with Spring when she uses the embryo’s stem cells to regenerate she doesn’t take on half of its genetic properties because I didn’t want to change actors). However, she loses her memory when this happens so she doesn’t remember her previous lives. This makes Lagertha even more reluctant to go see her because she’s no longer the same Luna however she can’t stay away forever and ends up confronting her. This ends up triggering Luna’s memories but she’s reluctant to get close to Lagertha and Sokanon again because she doesn��t want to turn into the person she was during her first life or go through the pain of loving people and watching them die. It flashes to the memory of when Sokanon, Luna and Gyda (Lagertha’s daughter) were all sick and Gyda died. The video ends with her overcoming this fear and the three being reunited.

The latest episode of Shane Dawson’s Jake Paul docuseries promised to explore the vloggers alleged QUOTE “enemies.” Right off the bat, we knew that was exactly what we were going to get because mere seconds into the ep, Shane tells viewers and Andrew that former Team 10 COO, Nick Crompton, has agreed to sit down for an interview. Bring on the tea. Shane meets Nick at an undisclosed location, which turns out to be a seriously incredible mansion, but I digress. Seriously though, it’s incredible.ANYWAY, once they’re together, Shane doesn’t waste any time asking Nick the one question everybody wants to know the answer to when it comes to Team 10… Is it all real? Nick’s ready to set the record straight once and for all. Though the was hesitant to come right and say that the majority of what we see is fake, he also tells Shane that the truth QUOTE “fixes a lot of problems, especially some of the big problems where people just think something that’s not true,” and he’s totally talking about the Martinez twins. Although the Martinez twins left Team 10, citing abuse as a main reason as to why, Nick sets the record straight revealing that the pranks that had supposedly led to them leaving were all fake- the twins were in on it, he says. So the Martinez twins saying Jake and crew trashed their room? Is your mind blown yet? And again, according to Nick, they QUOTE “don’t want to tell everyone that everything is fake, so we just keep taking these hits.” And sure there are two sides to every story, but based on this interview alone, Nick seems like a really stand up guy. But while the pranks themselves are allegedly scripted, Andrew mindfully points out that there is plenty of video evidence showing Jake saying really horrible things about the team members…bullying them, and while it might be lighthearted or part of the act like the pranks are, how much of that kind of verbal abuse can someone really take before they start feeling attacked? Even if it’s a joke? That said, if what Nick says is true and the Martinez twins were in on the pranks that they then claimed was a complete surprise to them both, then that’s pretty messed up too. So basically, we still have a lot to learn about Jake and as Nick explains to Shane QUOTE “understand the why to the what,” and whoo, are we ready to understand the why, am I right? And it’s still just the tip of the Jake Paul iceberg because Shane reveals at the end of part 4 that Alissa Violet’s ready to tell her side of the story come part 5 so it’ll be interesting to find out from her what of her and Jake’s dynamic was real or what was fake… Patiently waiting for part 5. Untying the Not and Never Was...back from Britain...Hello pagan heathens, welcome to the 14thyear of the blog and variations on the theme of transcendental dystopia in the key of F sharp. Feeling positivelypriapic today...with a private new list of ancient sins that would make even a priest blush...in joyous celebration of Bacchus, Aphrodite and Apollo... I have my own morals, but morals they are and are followed as such. I don't remember what I am taught, I remember what I learn.

Within two minutes of walking past airport customs into the English speaking world, see a display of Newsweek magazines with the front cover blarting 'Putin is preparing for World War 3 -is Trump?' So good to be back so fast into the feculant nightmare. Great to hear the baldhead is running for yet another presidential term and barring his most serious rival from taking part in the lip-service of democratic process. And threatening him with imprisonment for daring to suggest the polls be boycotted. Wonder who will win? Here's hoping today's pig is tomorrow's bacon.

I watched no TV news at all but of course read the Daily Horrors with my breakfast every morning for three weeks...The Golden Reptile in the mickey mouse white house...he doesn't believe in exercise because it is unhealthy for the body and has a Very busy working day from 11am to 5pm...with 'executive time' between the hours.... a separate bedroom with 3 TV screens and cheeseburgers to lull him to sleep until he awakes to tweet his dawn chorus of mindless excremental bilge. Direct quotes from his twitter feed –'My two greatest assets have been mental stability andbeing, like, really smart'... 'a very stable genius...' America....truly serving as a genuine example to the world. How does it feel to be pitied by those you despise and despised by those you pity?

Trump has a 'much bigger and powerful' nuclear button on his desk than Cheese Boy in North Korea... 'and my Button works!'. (How would he know? Hard to test.) Penis measuring across continents. Mentally unstable is a very generous description of these child presidents....And speaking of dumber than paint leaders with bad hair (nice segway eh?) I heard a wonderful description of the lying wannabe UK prime minister Boris Johnson... 'like an arsonist pretending to be a fireman', returning to the Brexit crime scene to save the day...

Another foul/fowl pretender to the throne of PM in the UK, Mr Gove, coming out in sudden favour of chlorinated chicken from the USA and GM crops via the ever popular Monsanto corporation. Follow the lobbyists, follow the money trail. Ignore (or defenestrate) those who speak for corporate interests until you have checked whether their words are actually an opinion based on long running verifiable tests of good health or sound bites paid for by a wedge of serious wonga/moolah/cash into their bank accounts... and/or a future job when they leave politics. Shameless filth. Eg. David Cameron now accepting a role with the Chinese government's one and a half billion pound infrastructure programme.

China said recently that the 1989 British ambassador's claim that 10,000 students were murdered in Beijing is a little extreme. Well it was. Running tanks over unarmed students cannot said to be anything else. 200 has been given as a more realistic death toll. It took them 28 years to come up with this number.

The same evil government shit as ever after a massive storm destroying homes... Hurricane Irma wiped out almost every home on Barbuda (Caribbean) and as in New Orleans and dozens of similar cases after a force of nature, the greedpigs move in fast. Deals between the politicians and land developers overpower the rights of those who lived there, such is the freedom of a life without morality. Rebuild and replace communally owned land with dwellings for the wealthy and push aside all former residents. Demonstrations in Iran by the lower classes of all generations across more than 100 cities and towns against the endless drift of power upwards to Khameni and the mullahs...and money outwards to various non charitable organisations (fill in the blanks with live ammunition, missiles, rocket launchers, suicide bombers etc.) the lack of hospitals and social support, the lack of aid after natural disasters, corruption and price rises. 40 percent of young people are unemployed and starting to wonder where the billions are going...or else knowing where. Most, if not all of the above bullet points (ha) are strong factors in the West too...but in America the tension implodes and is directed against ethnicitiesrather than those actually responsible.. and in Britain/ Europe... hmm...Civil unrest is contained in blaming foreigners, thus encouraging Nazi opportunist populists to manipulate the easily persuaded angry mass into voting for them. And the suckers fall for it everybloody time.

Issues of utterly irrelevant social media opinion, autistic entertainment saturating the global human mind to applaud the lowest common denominator, rocking back and forth with glee at the latest exploits of the hollow kardashians and their foul ego stroking ilk, famous only for being famous...a mass debate on the meaningless, billions of people being trained to focus their tiny, blurred attention deficit spans on a multitude of soul numbing emptiness. All looking in the absolute wrong directions while meanwhile....

The strong and immoral arise and laugh their arses off, stirring, provoking, initiating... and they prepare...America and Europe are weaker and weaker. A few computer viruses here and there, shared passwords, blackmail via disinformation, man made disasters, plenty of random shocks, a constant underlying panic, threats and needling rhetoric result in.....on one side, an aggressive focused mobilisation of forces with intent and on the other, half a billion people with the spiritual bravery and intelligence of a pillow. At some Rubicon of a breakpoint, paranoia becomes common sense. The clock is now at two minutes to midnight. Be aware.
