Kenma is a night owl, so I think to some extend you are too. There is just something intimate about the hours of the night you two spend driving around in his car, listening to some good tunes and holding hands while having a conversation from time to time. When its dark outside and everybody’s asleep you two feel like being the most alive.

Kageyama Tobio: Making eye contact from the opposite sides of the room

Tobio is just as observant to his surroundings when it comes to you as to volleyball. The first thing he will notice when entering a room is your presence. However, the most impressive thing is that he almost never fails to distinct your face in the crowd of fans and supporters of his games, he feels like he is magically drawn to look at you and could make out your face amongst hundreds of faces.

Terushima Yuji: leaning into each other while laughing

He is a funny boy for sure, but it feels even better when you laugh with him. He is even okay with you laughing at him as long as he can feel your shoulder pressing to his and your head falling onto his shoulder, exhausted from all the laughing. Yuji loves the small details he’s able to notice up close like the scratch on your teeth, the small dimples or the gleam in your eyes as you look up to him.

 Akaashi Keji: Forehead kisses

Each time you’re at the receiving end of his forehead kisses you find yourself physically and mentally relaxing. With his hands on your shoulders and his lips on your forehead you feel protected and taken care of. Since you told Keji what his kisses do to you he kisses you even more. Even when you’re in public he never misses out on giving you a small peck on your head to show you that he is with you and that his thoughts and his heart belong to you.

Miya Atsumu: Grabbing your hand and spinning you around.

Your boyfriend likes to run to you at full speed, wrap his arms tight around your middle and twirl you through the air, especially after a successful game. When theres not enough space around or when he’s in a soft mood,  Tsumu will just take your hand above your head and spin you around. -Moving from your home country to Japan was certainly a nerve wracking experience, especially since you’d be attending your last year of grade school amongst new people in an unfamiliar place, in a language you aren’t proficient in. After a few weeks of loneliness you decide that you won’t sit still and be a loner the whole school year.

-You thought that getting involved in something, a club, and team, anything with other people might help you make a couple friends might be good for you, and you heard a pretty cute guy in your bio class talk about how the men’s volleyball team could use a second manager, so you decide to apply for the position

-When you go into the gym to meet the team for the first time, you’re immediately bombarded by two very eager second years and and a short red headed first year who were very curious as to who you were (the school doesn’t get students from other countries often so they were curious about you)

-Suga takes pity on you and puts the team to practice while you, Daichi, Kiyoko, Ukai and Takeda go over your new duties as a manager with you, and you eventually start your time as Karasunos manager

-The first few weeks are pretty eventful for you, you’re just getting to know the ropes of the job and also getting to know everybody on the team. It doesn’t help that there was some drama between some of the team members and the former team ace (or the fact that after it was all said and done he joined the team again), and it certainly didn’t help that you had to train another new manger when your still new yourself (you don’t blame Yachi though, it’s not her fault, and besides, she’s a very sweet kid).

-It was hard adjusting to the club environment at first, but Kiyoko made sure to introduce you properly to everyone, which is how you ended up talking to the 3rd years more. As much as you both love the 1st and 2nd year students, you need to make friends in your own grade

-Kiyoko begins a habit of starting hangouts for just the 3rd years, nothing big, just a few hours hanging out at a cafe or someone’s house. That’s primarily how you got to know the three third year boys, through these hangouts. It’s a great opportunity to get to know each other better in a relaxed setting

- I imagine the three were already together before they met you, so they’re all used to a polyamorous relationship by the time you came along. They never really thought that they would want to add another to their group, but then again, they didn’t know they would meet you

-Asahi probably fell first, the poor guy wears his heart on his sleeve so it’s pretty easy for him to fall for you. Suga and Daichi could see how enamored by you Asahi was, and after a little time you captured their hearts too.

-They all want to know more about your home country and culture, but no one asks more questions than Suga. He wants to know everything there is to know about your culture, your home, what living in your native country was like, what customs you have, what holidays you celebrate, everything! He’s a naturally curious guy and the other two are either too scared that they’ll bother you or worried they’ll ask something offensive

-Asahi does muster up the courage to ask you about any cultural clothing you might have, and if you’d say it’s ok to, he’d be more than happy to try and see if he can sew it himself. I can imagine him gifting you a handmade outfit if he manages to get the hang of making it for your birthday or some other holiday

-After awhile it’s painfully obvious to anyone with eyes that the trio is hardcore pining after you, it’s a wonder you don’t see it yourself! Sugar’s always trying to get your attention (much to the embarrassment of his boyfriends) Asahi’s stutter has magically appeared once again, and Daichi goes red any time you’re in close proximity to him. Honestly the whole teams just begging for them to ask you out at this point, it’s getting painful to watch

-The three have no idea how to ask you out, or if you’re even into poly relationships, so they settle for asking you to meet them at one of their houses so they can speak to you privately

-Daichi takes the lead, explaining to you how they’ve been in love with you for awhile and that they would really love to date you, but they all understand if you don’t like them or if you aren’t comfortable being in a poly relationship. They all kind of expect you to say no, simply because their relationship is very much outside the norm, but there’s still a little hope inside each of them that you’ll say yes

-When you do say yes, everyone is over the moon. Asahi nearly starts sobbing from joy and relief (he totally thought you were going to reject them), Suga practically tackles you in a hug, and Daichi let’s put a huge sigh of relief before prying Suga off of you. Prepare for a long night of cuddles because now that the boys have you, they’re determined to spend as much time with you as possible

Throwing the keys in your hand, you pushed your foot up against the gym door and kicked it open so you could walk inside.

“I told you to stop kicking that.” Ukai sighed.

You grinned a little at him and walked over, setting your bag beside him as you turned to watch the team training.

He glanced at you and rolled his eyes.

“You shouldn’t have those at your age, why are you wearing them?”

“Cause I can and schools out.” You beamed a little.

Ukai pointed to your ear and you nodded.

“Got my industrial done yesterday.”

“So that’s why you didn’t come watch.”

Caregiver 🐦‍⬛

•When he finds out you regress, he immediately offered to be your caregiver! He tells you that he regresses too, and that they could have play dates, and talk about regression together!

•He loves age regression, but never had anyone to talk about it with. He will ramble to you about being your caregiver, about the meals he'd make you, the things he'd buy you, ect.

•Super hyper and energetic.

•He loves McDonald's kids meals, I just know that he does.

•His main caregivers are Suga and Kageyama. (Or you)They're both super protective of him, and act like parents.

•He has playdates with Noya all the time when he's little. They go outside looking for bugs, they go to the playground together, they play games together, and love going on adventures together with their caregivers! (I headcanon Noya as a regressor, and Asahi and Tanaka as his caregivers.)

•He's super clingy, and needs to be by someone when regressed. He gets scared to regress on his own, or involuntarily.

•Sometimes before a big match against another team, he'll get really stressed out and sometimes even fully regress. He tries to hold back, but it's not easy for him. Suga then scoops him into his arms and helps him calm down.

•His little age is probably between 2-4, maybe a bit older?

•He also loves playing pretend, and finger painting!

~Chapter Twenty-Six~

-Last Time-

“Hinata, you little squirt! Don’t butt in like that!! You totally ruined my chance to say something cool!!!” You giggle at them. The whistle is blown indicating the start of the next rally.

The Municipal Team serves and Ennoshita receives the ball. He calls for cover from Kageyama while Ukai thinks about how everybody needs to work on bumps and passing. Kageyama runs to get into position to set along with Hinata coming to his spot.

‘Hm. He figured out quickly where the ball would be coming down. First step is confident and correct.’ Ukai thinks about Kageyama. ‘This setter’s supposed to be a rookie, right? So. Who’s he going to use…’ Ukai’s thought is answered as he sees Hinata jump.

Ukai, Takinoue, Shimada, Ashai, and Noya stare at Hinata. They are shocked by how fast and high he can jump. Hinata hits the ball and earns his team a point.

“Yeah!! Nice one, Hinata! Kageyama!” Tanaka praises.

Noya, Asahi, and Ukai are left with their mouths agape. Suga is looking at Asahi and Noya expectantly, while Takeda is looking at Ukai the same way. You have a look of pride as you see their reactions.

“Whoa!! Shoyo, that was awesome!! So awesome even I couldn't help but stop and stare!” Noya praises excitedly as the first-year blushes.

‘There were no hand signs. No verbal cues. And they still…?!’ Ukai thinks before speaking. “Hey, you!!” He yells causing Hinata to flinch and he and Kageyama to look at the coach. “Why did you jump where you did?! How did you know?! Short Stuff!”

“Short…?” Hinata begins. “Well… I just jump wherever I want, because the ball always comes wherever I am. Coach.”

‘...!! My eyes don’t wanna believe it, but I know I saw it. When Short Stuff jumped, his eyes were closed. Are you telling me that rookie setter was able to match his set to his movements that perfectly?!’ Ukai is shocked. ‘And how can he be so completely sure the ball is always going to be there? What normal player can trust so much that he’ll jump and swing totally blind?’

“YOU TWO FREAKS OR SOMETHIN’?!” Ukai yells at Hinata and Kageyama.

“Freaks…?” They respond simultaneously. Tsukishima chuckles.

“Why?” Hinata asks.

“Don’t ask me.” Kageyama replies.

“At first I didn’t get what that whole conversation right before the game was about…” Ukai begins, getting you and Takeda’s attention. “But…I think I see now. So that rookie setter’s likely a prodigy of some sort. Compared to a player like him…the normal slobs have to feel inferior. But… A set and a spike happen in less time than a single breath.” He continues as the game resumes. “Players need a whole lot of hours working together to get that kind of timing down. Faith like that isn’t something you can build in a day. So if we say what our rookie setter has is overwhelming talent… then what his senior there has is years of trust and stability.” He observes each of the players before beginning again. “This Karasuno team is pretty dang good!” 

‘Took you long enough.’ You think with a chuckle.

“Why didn’t you tell me sooner, sensei?” Ukai asks Takeda with a pat on the back, while you roll your eyes.

“I did. Multiple times.”

The game continues with Ukai’s attention refocusing on Hinata.

“Who woulda thought short stuff would be a middle blocker just from looking? He’s got a mean quick attack… but how’s his blocking?” Hinata is standing by the net getting ready to block. Asahi is standing across from him and notices his intense stare. This makes Ashai avert his gaze. 

“Oh, come to think of it, this game is Hinata’s first chance to play against the ace position that he’s idolized so much.” Takeda points out.

“Hm?”

“Well, you see, Hinata’s idol is a player called “The Little Giant.” He was someone who played during Karasuno’s golden age. That’s why he chose to attend Karasuno, too. He is always giving his best, saying that someday he’s going to be an ace too. And now in this game, Hinata gets to face off with Karasuno’s current reigning Ace!”

“Now isn’t that neat. Though from this angle, it looks a lot like a grown man playing an elementary kid.” Ukai replies. This makes you slightly laugh as you look at the two. You see Suga uses a hand signal for Asahi. ‘Probably telling him the kind of set he’s going to use.’ You think.

Hinata looks at Asahi with such concentration that it’s a bit scary. Karasuno serves and Noya receives it, passing it to Suga. Suga sets it to Ashai. ‘A shoot.’ You think. Asahi jumps and gets ready to spike but is surprised when he sees Hinata in front of him in the air, ready to block.

‘He popped up out of nowhere!!’ Asahi thinks.

Asahi spikes the ball and it hits Hinata’s hand with great force. The ball ricotes off of Hinata’s hand and goes behind him. Daichi and Tsukishima run to save the ball from hitting the ground but neither make it in time. The ball hits the floor earning a point for the Municipal Team. Asahi watches as Daichi talks to Hinata.

“...I knew he could jump, but it’s really shocking to see him pop up right in front of my face like that. How high can he go?” Asahi says to himself.

“That was awesome!” Hinata says looking at his red and stinging hands. “And he hasn’t played for a month!” You smile fondly at the first year.

“Yo, Hinata!” Kageyama begins. “You’re using your hands wrong when you block! If you’re trying to stop them, your hands go like this!” He demonstrates. “See? Like this!” Hinata doesn’t pay attention to Kageyama because he’s too focused on watching Asahi. “Are you even listening to me, boke?!” Since Hinata still wasn’t paying attention, Kageyama started squeezing his head. ‘At least Kageyama tried helping him…’ You think.

“Kageyama, you’re going to hurt him…” You say worryingly. Kageyama stops squeezing Hinata’s head and just stares at him.

“Hey…” Kageyama begins but is interrupted by Hinata.

“Man, the Ace is awesome!! He can hit the ball so hard it doesn’t matter if there’s a block! It’s still gonna smash through and score a point!”

“...”

“? What?”

“Nothing.” Kageyama says walking away.

“?”

“We’re running out of time, so let’s dive right into the second set, everyone.” Daichi says. The game continues. Hinata starts staring at Asahi and gets lost in his thoughts.

‘...If I was as tall and strong as he is…then I could…Whoa whoa whoa!’ Hinata starts shaking his head. ‘Don’t think about that. The Little Giant was awesome and short too! Though he was taller than me. Still…’

“Asahi!!” Someone calls out for Asahi to spike.

‘That’s so cool…’

“?! Hinata!!” You and Daichi call out at the same time.

“Huh?” Hinata snaps out of it and sees the ball flying toward him. Before he could react, the ball hit him straight in the face, causing him to fly backward.

“?! That idiot!!” Kageyama yells.

“AAAA” Asahi yells, frightened.

“GAAAH!!” Tanka yells worriedly.

“HINATA!!!” You scream, quickly running over to him.

I have noticed, in my time writing and reading the writing of others, a pervasive trend to conflate “love” with “romance”. I know that the best cure for this kind of misconception and conflation is education - so I am going to write about different kinds of love, using concepts I learned many years ago, derived from ancient Greek. A disclaimer: While I learned this and have done my best to research the information I am talking about, I am not an expert, and I could be incorrect - I am willing to be corrected and would love to see any material that contradicts me - I want to be educated myself, if I have misconceptions!

The types of love I am going to talk about today are Eros, Pragma, Ludus, Agape, Philia,  Philautia, Storge, and Mania.

Eros

Eros is erotic love, physical love.

Eros is the craving to have your hands on their body, their mouth on yours, entwined, close.

Eros is "I desire you as in physically."

In FFXIV, a representation of Eros is Haurchefant, towards the Warrior of Light.

Pragma

Pragma is practical love, enduring love.

Pragma is waking up, every day, and making love work. It's the long marriage, the steady lifelong commitment.

“GUYS! I HAVE RECEIVED THE GREATEST NEWS!!” Daichi sighed as Noya came screaming into the gym.

Suga just offered the second year a smile, “Is this like the time your ‘greatest news’ was that you didn’t have to be an adult to buy energy drinks like your mom told you?”

“No! This is better than that!”

“Like the ‘greatest news’ that Kiyoko was in fact single?”

“Even better than that!!!”

The whole team stopped moving, curiously watching their libero, until Daichi caved first, “Okay. Noya, what news do you have that is better than that?”

“MY BROTHER FINALLY FINISHED HIS EXCHANGE PROGRAM! HE’S COMING HOME!!”

“BROOOOOO!” Tanaka ran over, shaking his best friend, “Your brother’s been on that exchange for like two years, hasn’t he!?”

“You have a brother?” Hinata cocked his head, “You’ve never mentioned him.”

“He’s been studying in America! Left when I was in my last year of middle school. Apparently all the kids that wanted to do it had to pass some exam, and he was the highest scorer so he got to go. I think the person they exchanged him with was going to Shiratorizawa. But he’s finally coming back! He promised to come meet everybody!”

Tsukishima snorted, “Did he get all the brains in the family then?”

“What year is he? Graduated or something?” Noya was grinning at their curiosity, choosing to ignore the blonde’s comment.

“Nope! Third year! So we’ll see him around a bunch, he even said he’d help Kiyoko and Yachi with manager stuff.” A look crossed his face like he just remembered something, “KIYOKOOOOOO I NEED A MANAGER APPLICATION!!”

The team laughed, their curiosity piqued at who could be related to this chaotic child, but the third years didn’t know their curiosity could get any higher.

You were finally back in Miyagi, and man, you had missed it. The owners of the bakery you used to frequent almost cried when you walked in, not having gotten the word of your return. The older couple pulled you in for a hug as they gushed about how handsome you’d gotten and how you’ve grown. You laugh as you thank them, promising to stop in to catch up before heading to your brother’s morning practice with a satisfied smile. Your parents had told him you were coming home the following week, but you were able to get on an earlier flight and decided you’d surprise him. You were a little jet lagged, and thankful most of your stuff was mailed back, but you knew how infectious his energy could be so you didn’t let it slow you down as you made your way across the school grounds with a line duffel bag hanging from your shoulder. Admittedly, you hadn’t been going to Karasuno long enough to have the location of the gym memorized, but a teacher spotted and directed you on your way. The sound of your brother’s voice filled your ears as you got to the door, he must’ve been the last one through because it was left cracked like he used to when he ran in your room to rant about something, “You guys will love him, I’m telling you! He’s funny and smart and I bet he could match Saltyshima insult for insult.”

Another voice you didn’t recognize belonging to a tall blonde chimed in, “You keep talking shorty, I’m going to hang you from the net pole.”

At that you decided to walk in, “You put my brother on the net pole, and I’m putting you back in the farm you escaped from, beanstalk.” Everyone froze at the unfamiliar presence. As excited as Noya had been, it was like he was trying to convince himself he wasn’t dreaming. “What? No hug for your big brother?”

“Y/N!!!!” Ennoshita was almost afraid there would be skid marks on the gym floor with how quickly the chaotic duo took off to tackle you. Noya jumped on you, wrapping his arms around your neck while Tanaka wrapped his around your waist, blubbering incoherently about how much they’d missed you.

“Aye, you two, calm the hell down.”

“Yes, sir!” The two of them cheered, standing up straight as they stared at you with starry eyes.

“Tanaka, why are you getting so emotional? You didn’t even know Nishinoya when his brother went abroad.”

“Ah, Suga, you’re asking the real questions.” You smiled, “Ryu and Yuu would FaceTime me together all the time. And then Ryu would FaceTime me alone when he was getting up to come unlock the gym for the crazy first years I’ve heard about.”

“How do you know my name?”

Noya looked almost offended, “Did you think I wouldn’t tell him about you guys or something!?”

“Even if he didn’t, I went to school with the third years for like two months before I left. But, let’s see, we’ve got Dadchi, Sugamomma, Jesus- I mean Asahi-“

“Why do you keep referring to me as Jesus, Noya?” Asahi looked both nervous, and exasperated.

“It’s the hair, my dude. But continuing on, I see Ennoshita- can’t wait to see what you can do as captain, Kinnoshita and Narita, and then these are the first years, right?” Everyone nodded with wide eyes as you circled the first years, Hinata and Kageyama looked terrified, Yamaguchi looked beyond nervous, and Tsukishima was still glaring at you for the comment you made when you entered. “This is the one with the killer jump float you told me about, right?” You turned to your brother, finger pointed at Yamaguchi, and Noya nodded eagerly. “So the little orange one is the one that can jump super fucking high?”

“Yeah, that’s me! You wanna see!?”

“Sure, short stuff, show me what you got- HOLY SHIT! Noya, you said he could jump, not defy the laws of fucking physics!”

“What even is this practice,” Daichi muttered to himself, and you cursed under your breath.

“I am so sorry! I was so excited to surprise him that I forgot what you were here for.” You bowed to the captain, “My apologies, captain.”

“Whoa, whoa, it’s okay! Really!”

“Y/N, Y/N! Are you gonna be here for after school practice!? I can show you my Rolling Thunder!”

“Yuu, I keep telling you that’s just a rolling receive.” You laughed, missing the way half the team seemed mesmerized by the action, as he argued with you that wasn’t true, “If it’s okay with your coach, I can swing by. I need to stop by the office and get paperwork and figure out where my classes are. I’ll see ya later, Yuu.” You started out the door, just to stop on the other side and look around curiously. “Can any of you tell me where the office is?”

That was how the days went. The school wasn’t prepared for you the week you were back, so you would just stop in for the practices in the morning, and then again in the afternoon. Daichi was thankful, Noya and Tanaka looked up to you so they calmed down their rowdy behavior when you would tell them to chill. Before anyone really knew it, you had been back at school for a month.

“So tell me,” you started as you dropped into the seat at the lunch table with the third years, “how long have the three of you been dating?”

Kiyoko snorted as you looked at the three boys, each stuttering and stopping before Kiyoko finally took pity on them, “They aren’t.”

You gaped at her, “No fucking way.”

“You’re telling me.” She sighed.

“Why- Why did you think we were?” Daichi asked, and you a little afraid Asahi was going to passed out with how red his face was.

“Isn’t it obvious?” You cocked your head, “For one, my gaydar has never been wrong.” Kiyoko snorted again and you grinned at the usually composed girl, “But for two, the three of you- I mean even if your feelings weren’t obvious, you fill in each other’s needs. You have complementary traits. Daichi is strict but cares about you need, Suga is chaotic but reminds you to have fun, Asahi is anxious but helps you guys realize that not everything is as big of a deal as it feels.”

“What would your traits be, Y/N?” Kiyoko’s lips curled into a slight smirk, and you tried to suppress the flush you felt burning your ears.

“This isn’t about me! Let me know when you guys figure it out!” You bolted from the table, snatching Noya from his seat and fleeing the room.

Somehow, Noya had spread word to the rest of the team, and eventually they were all approaching with poorly veiled descriptions of their crushes, until you finally stomped into afternoon practice, “OKAY, BITCHES. LINE THE FUCK UP.”

“Y/N, you can’t just-“

“SHUT IT DAICHI. YOU AND SUGA AND ASAHI, YOU ARE ADORABLE AND I LOVE YOU BUT I AM GOING TO LOSE MY SHIT!” You took a deep breath, tapping your foot on the ground, “I have been used to rehearse not one, not two, not even three confessions. HAVE ANY OF YOU EVEN DONE WHAT I SUGGESTED!?” Silence. “Didn’t think so.” You grabbed Ennoshita’s and Narita’s hands, guiding them to Kinnoshita, “Congratulations, you’re now a throuple. And possibly my favorites at this point, you non drama starting gods. Next,” you pointed to the salty middle blocker, “Yams is a fucking angel, and literally the only person you don’t snap at and can hold a conversation with, how you thought nobody would that crush that’s larger than your favorite dinosaur- only fucking god knows because I’m sure it could be seen from Pluto. If you can’t ask him out by the end of practice, then I swear to god I’m calling Akiteru and getting him to give me a key to your house and I will put every embarrassing thing you own on blast for this whole team to see. Yams- sweetie. I don’t know where to begin. You know he’s emotionally constipated and you still want him?” Yamaguchi’s was bright red but he still nodded, “Okay, I’ve done what I can there. Hinata, I don’t- KAGEYAMA DONT YOU TRY TO SNEAK AWAY! Now, Hinata, Kageyama, if you guys could stop challenging each for five seconds-“

“NO I’M GONNA CONFESS BEFORE KAGEYAMA AND IT IS GONNA BE ROMANTIC!”

“NOT IF I DO IT FIRST YOU TANGERINE!”

“BET!”

“You know what? I’ll take it. Now, just one left. But poor baby has anxiety so everyone go outside for a second.”

“Why did we get called out in front of-“

“OUTSIDE!” The team moved quickly, leaving you alone with the managers, who you grabbed by the shoulders to keep them inside. “Now, Kiyoko, angel, is my gaydar off this time?”

“Do you need an answer to a question you already know?”

“That’s what i thought. You put poor Yachi into a gay panic when you asked her about being manager.”

“I am sorry, Yachi. Would you like to get coffee sometime?”

“Uh- YeS?”

“Terrific. I’ll meet you on Saturday at your place so I can walk you to our date.”

You heaved a sigh of relief. “My work here is done.” You opened the door to the gym back up, “We’re finished, go ahead and practice.”

“What about Noya and Tanaka?” Hinata asked.

“Those idiots have been dating but in denial for months, there’s nothing I can do for them.”

Ukai stood in the corner of the gym, “What the fuck? Did I just watch my team get bullied into relationships?”

“Best not to think on it, coach.” You grinned.

Walking into the gym, you set the bag down and sat down on the bench as you looked at the team training.

“You’re running late.”

Looking at the grey haired teen, you gave a small smile as you opened your bag so show what was in there.

“Oh my god!” He whisper yelled.

“Shh, don’t let them know. It’s a surprise.”

“What’s a surprise?!” Hinata yelled.

Everyone immediately came rushing over and you lightly swatted their hands away from the bag.

“No! Don’t keep secrets!” Nishinoya pouted.

“It’s for after practice. Now, I’ve drafted up a new game plan I’d like to run past you all so sit.”

The whole team sat down and looked up at you as you began to explain to them some things you had noted from their last game and the past few training sessions.

“So you’re saying we need to change tactics?” Daichi asked.

“In a way yeah. Right now I just want you to practice on your manoeuvres, we don’t want another incident like with what happened to Nishi.”

“Aw you care about me?” The teen grinned.

Rolling your eyes, you leant forward and smacked the back of his head and he pouted while everybody laughed at him.

“It seems kind of pointless.” Tsukishima shrugged.

“Maybe, but it could help. Especially when it comes to safe landings. So you’re doing it, no choice.”

They all went off to train and you watched them, writing down some things you were noticing about them all.

Most of it was ways they could improve, but you would arrange one on ones with them the following day so that you could start working in this.

You called them over one at a time, giving them their water bottles and making them sit down to rest for a few minutes before sending them back out.

“Right! Get here you lot!” You called.

The group came padded over and you opened your bag, dumping on the floor, you tossed some food at them all.

“Oh my god our favourite!” Hinata beamed.

“How’d you know what to get me?” Kageyama asked you.

“I know what you like.” You beamed.

They all began to eat and you nibbled on your own food, smiling softly at them all.

They were a good bunch, great potential, but you noticed Asahi sat towards the back and you frowned a little.

Getting up, you walked over and sat next to him.

“Hey, are you alright?” You asked softly.

“Oh.. y.. yeah..” he nodded.

You smiled at the gentle giant and poked his arm.

“Come on.”

You stood up and he followed you across the gym and you both sat down against the wall, still eating.

“I know you’re struggling, but you’re a great player. You’re amazing at volleyball, you have real talent you know Asahi.”

“You think…?”

You looked up at him and smiled.

“I know, I’ve been coaching this team for two years. You’re great, just remember that alright?”

He smiled a little and nodded and you sat there with him for a little bit until they went to get their stuff to go home.

You stood at the door waving them all off and you felt a hand on top of your head and you smiled softly.

“You ready?” He asked.

“I was waiting for you.”

“Well let’s go then.”

Suga took your hand in his and you both started to walk towards the front of the school, enjoying the peace.

You looked up at him and your smile widened a little bit.

“What? Do I have something on my face?” He asked.

“Nope.”

You looked away.

Suga laughed a little and shook his head at you, handing you his drink so you could have some and you handed it back after.

“Do you want to stay at mine?” You asked.

“Will your parents be alright with that?”

“Suga you stay every weekend, of course they will. Plus it’s late, and you look exhausted. My house is closer.”

“Is this because you want me to watch that sappy movie with you again?”

“Maybe?”

He laughed, nodding his head.

“Yeah, I’ll stay. I’ll call my mom when I’m at yours.”

You grinned and you leant into his side and he smiled to himself as he carried on walking.

“So, what do you have planned for tomorrow?”

“Oh it’s going to be great!”

You excitedly began to explain to your boyfriend what you had planed for tomorrows training and what you were trying to achieve and he listened carefully.

You cared for the team, you looked after them just like he did, and he looked after you throughout the rest of the day.

You were the parents of the volleyball team, and truth be told no one would change that for the world

Okay so I shall share some tiny headcanons about Daichi as a warm up of sorts since I'm nervous—

Sawamura Daichi, everybody :D

• He's usually the one doing the tickling, but he does occasionally become the victim.

• Because he has very few tickle spots (along with his tough no-nonsense personality), people often assume that he is not ticklish at all.

• Then Suga thought it would be a good idea to tickle him in front of the entire team simply because he thought he looked grumpy and needed cheering up (he actually did but what Suga doesn't know won't hurt him).

• Most of the team is too scared to solo tickle him for fear of retaliation. Suga, the brave, stupid soul, and Kiyoko, not ticklish at all, is the only exception.

• His tickle spots are his stomach, thighs and his ribs. Although I do enjoy the headcanon that he is also ticklish in his underarms from time to time.

• A quick poke to his stomach will make him flinch amd squeak, and scribbling will get you some chuckles but if you want him to start losing his mind you need to really put your hands on him and knead that muscle like it is bread dough.

• Suga loves to give him raspberries. When he's feeling brave enough, Asahi will also help hold him down and rub his beard on his stomach and ribs.

• Yeah let's just say Daichi goes absolutely nuts.

• His thighs are probably the worst tickle spot that he has. He can not take any kind of touch there, even his own. Digging fingers into the skin will make him scream for mercy for sure. The tiniest little scribbles will have him cackling like a witch.

• Unfortunately that is all I have for today but if you like them I shall provide more!!!!!
