A/N: this is nct dream’s reaction to realizing your bias is not him (and you’re a couple). gender neutral, got way too deep at some points and was NOT meant to be this long. enjoy.

note that english is my second language and i speak mixing slang, accents and spellings from 3283928 places so i did notice there’s practice written with both s and c down there so

just dont mind it pls

except maybe for chenle, he always laughs his ass off when they start bickering

while jeno sits hyuck down in front of him and jaemin and just

no but renjun would apologize for going overboard with his protectiveness and jealous energy because he’s not generally like that

he’s very creative and as an artsy kid myself i know we’re very prone to feeling left out because we’re just different from the others

so he’d think maybe haechan really has a better voice

or better dancing skills

he is taller than injun after all, and has broader shoulders, and his hair is all fluffy and—

the whole thing just made him insecure about things he had settled with himself long ago

he was fine with being him

but not so much when it came to that

i don’t think you two would fight over it cus tbh i think renjun would really only get with someone who can be very understanding of him

and i think hyuck would actually apologize to renjun too

not when everyone’s around but like, maybe after dinner or something and he just needs to feel like they’re besties again

hyuck never meant for things to get out of control

he stays up later than usual to get that one tricky move in the choreo just right

jisung asked for ramen? he’s making it but you bet your ass he’s spending over 40 minutes just chopping so

and i need to point out this is NOT about making you change your bias from jaemin to him, this is solely about having you recognize his efforts, even if you already do

if you just thought jeno was like going off in work because it was asked of him to, jaemin would DEF notice and talk to you about it

turns out it’s a habit of jeno to go extra hard sometimes and he needs someone to make him take a break

so it goes down like you breaking into the practice room when jeno and jisung were practising

well chenle just had to make sure jisung doesn’t forget to order for someone and doesn’t break like 10 plates trying to set the table lol

this is way longer than the others so imma wrap it up

make it obvious and loud that you see and respect jeno’s hard work and he’ll be alright again

and maybe make those game nights a weekly thing when possible, it would make him very happy

So I’ve been meaning to do this for a while, and I already have a blog for it ( @nemosrepost ) but that doesn’t get too much attention. Thus, here we are!

"AGHHH this is impossible! How are we going to get all this work done in two days!? This is three people's part of the project, and it's not exactly short! Were gonna be here all afternoon!" Yoosung sobbed, as he covered his face and laid his head on the table.

"H-hey it's alright! We can uh...we can do it! I'm sure it won't take that long!"

It did take that long.

In face, it was 3am when you finished and had to leave the place because it was closing, so you had to go to your room and finish it there.

As soon as you were done, you both let out a tired victory yell and you fell back on your bed.

Yoosung's eyes widened, but you tightened your grip on his hair and he slowly started undoing his shirt buttons. Then he looked up at you again. "U-uhm...Wh-what else should I do...?"

His face became red, bue eventually Yoosung slowly and shyly smiled at you. "You...you really do?"

He cupped your cheek and the two of you slowly got closer and closer until your lips were touching in a chaste kiss. When you finished Yoosung chuckled, still red in the face. "So uhmm...does that mean we're a...couple now?"

You smiled and poked his cheek. "Yup! And there's no going back after this, you hear me?"

"Y-yes! Of course I'd never think of it!"

"Good! Now how about we go back to bed...and have a little fun hmm?~"

Yoosung smiled and pulled you towards him, smiling. "That doesn't sound too bad...and we're on vacation right now, so I don't see any reason we shouldn't stay in bed and do...that all day."

You laughed and Yoosung picked you up bridal style, gently throwing you in his bed and pinning you down.

10.19!!! watched it, had thoughts about it, wrote them down. the usual under the cut.

there is a random man in steve’s kitchen (is it the helicopter guy? i... don’t know him well enough to be sure but i am genuinely unsure who else it would be) wearing a “seals do it better” apron while he’s cooking and talking to junior about how this recipe helped him “seal the deal” with the love of his life. okay, random man. you’re not acknowledging it, but you just made a seal pun, so you have my attention.

btw, for a good long moment i genuinely thought this guy might be danny in some kind of weird dream sequence future. i mean, old danny in steve’s kitchen wearing a seal-themed apron and making waffles? i wouldn’t hate it.

junior about how it’s going with tani: “it’s amazing.” okay a) YAY and THAT IS VERY CUTE and b) even so, it’s hilarious to me when random guy says “sounds like you’ve got it bad” just based on junior saying that it’s amazing while he kind of smiles vaguely. cute as it was, it wasn’t a passionate love declaration.

junior lies in bed awake at night dreaming of his thing with tani working out (and not sleeping because he’s scared it might not) and i just !! he’s a smitten mess over her and i adore it, even though his level of anxiety sounds like it’s a little detrimental for his sleep, omg.

fjdkfd we get a scene of adam and quinn who went surfing together and OF COURSE they’re standing under the beach showers as they talk because i feel like adam is literally contractually obligated to have a certain number of shower scenes each season.

tani!! gave quinn!! some surfing pointers!! let’s review: we know that tani is really great at surfing and definitely better than junior, because we had a scene once of them getting back from a surfing trip and junior was slightly pouty over it and tani was absolutely unwilling to downplay her own skill and it was Very Good, and now, in these last few episodes, tani was first present during noelani’s surfing lessons and now she’s apparently been giving quinn advice, and the idea of the h50 women hanging out? the idea of tani being supportive and sharing her knowledge? it’s all so good, ahhh. (ALSO. my mighty need for tani and kono to meet grows with each and every mention of tani’s surfing skill.)

oh my gOD i wrote that bit in brackets and hit play on the episode and IMMEDIATELY adam says that he’s used to being second best in the ocean because “my ex wife was a pro surfer, and very competitive.” YES. GOOD. LOVE THE KONO REFERENCE.

quinn gets a dramatic call from an olivia! i read an episode description, so i know that’s her ex-step daughter. i’m a little hesitant about this “btw quinn has an ex-husband” subplot, but also curious to see where they’re going with it, and quinn jumping to help out a teen girl that she still has a strong bond with is an angle of approach that could potentially be very very relevant to my interests.

cows! “moooo” say the cows, quietly, under the music. they’re not important or plot-relevant, i just like cows.

fjdkfd olivia has a Bad Dad and yes, i do want quinn to adopt her now. it could be good! she could swap tips with steve about how to let your adopted teen know they’re loved and safe and worth so much more than what their parents gave them.

tani to junior: “what, you think i didn’t have a life before i met you?” junior’s eyes: [shoot up to steve, standing right behind tani, who is junior’s mentor AND boss, making it slightly awkward to have a relationship talk right in front of him during work hours] POOR BOY (but also, yes, tani, tell him).

junior is now obsessed with the mystery of why tani is so familiar with a random rancher bar an hour away from her house, and to be honest, so am i.

tani wON A LINE DANCING COMPETITION FOUR WEEKS IN A ROW. that is the BEST solution to the mystery, my gosh.

tani: [brags about her line dancing skills and calls herself the queen] junior: “who are you?” fdjkfdjkfd junior, i don’t even know why you’re suprised that a) tani slays at something she did or b) she is utterly unapologetic about that fact.

olivia says that maybe quinn could come watch her play volleybal some time and quinn says that she’d love to but it’s complicated and don’t do that, quinn! my heart hurts now!

OKAY so olivia isn’t doing cheer this year even though she was captain the previous year and she makes up an excuse about it being because of the other girls but it’s actually about HER DAD taking the money that quinn gave her for a UNIFORM which means she probably couldn’t even try out and I HATE THIS. find your ex and kick his ass, quinn.

lou, after talking about macadamia farming: “but here’s where the story gets a littllllle... nutty.” tani, fistpumping: “nice one.” punner solidarity!! good stuff, good stuff. (though i do wonder what happened to danny’s punning streak in later seasons. anyone remember 1.14, when he joked about the head in a box? he’s lost his appreciation for this fine art and it’s a tragedy, honestly.)

quinn has enlisted adam’s help in tracking her ex (jake) down and she’s telling adam a little about how she never thought she’d fall for a guy like him but he was charming, and then she says “and olivia” and THAT’S when she really smiles, and look, PLEASE don’t let this episode end with olivia still living with her dad because will have to write fix-it fic.

quinn: “i haven’t told anybody i was married, not even steve.” that’s cool, but like, do we believe that means steve doesn’t know? if his background checks haven’t gone completely downhill in the last few years, i would assume he’s figured this out, right? (i love quinn’s “in case you haven’t noticed, i’m not really a sharer” that she adds, because it fits with her personality and it’s just nice to have a female character that’s allowed to be a little secretive about her past in a way that doesn’t feel, idk, sensationalized.)

i have seen a lot of gifs of this episode by now and they’re all of steve and danny and the horses so i’ve seen most of their very polite discussion that ensues when danny calls steve out on not asking him if he wants to ride along, but it’s still utterly glorious. grace gets mentioned, too! and the way danny ends it with “why don’t you try to keep up?” as he passes in front of steve, with steve watching him go? that is flirting. blatant flirting in front of all of their poor teammates. (at least now junior can feel a little less awkward about bringing his relationship with him on the job!)

fjdkfdjk lou’s “all this and they still go time to argue, isn’t that nice?” is A+

steve and danny, as they’re super leisurely chasing some criminals through the woods on horseback: yes, this would be a good time to make up an argument about absolutely nothing at all.

oh gosh, okay, danny says “you know i can uh, i can hear you at night” and steve’s response is “why don’t you get some earplugs?” and um. uh. it’s followed by context, i know, but come on, jfc.

“when i moved in a couple months ago” he’s just GOING for it now, omg. not “came to stay with you”, no attempt at hiding that he’s been staying with steve for literal months at this point - just. when i moved in. a couple months ago.

(i am obviously also very aware of what danny is saying about steve not sleeping and how that’s a new thing because it wasn’t like that a few months ago and steve’s evasiness about it and i am VERY WORRIED ABOUT THAT but i’m also electing to somewhat ignore it because. my god. screw that. we don’t want any of where that seems to be headed in this house.)

“i appreciate it. thank you.” this is growth and it’s good and it’s steve realizing that maybe just his quippy putdown isn’t enough of a response to danny’s genuine offer of support! (and again, we’re not thinking about reasons why he might want to think twice about how he treats danny so danny will know he’s appreciated, because there is no reason for steve to be worried about that, because nothing is going to happen.)

steve: “cuff him, danno.” DANNO. danno has returned from war!!

fjdkfd and then steve says it again in like, the next sentence he says. really cramming in those danno’s suddenly.

oh noooooo. quinn tells adam that jake could be a very good dad (which is valid! addiction is a disease and it’s good to know he wasn’t always like this to olivia, even if i don’t think it excuses what’s happening now), but then she says that jake was all the things she always wished her own dad could be and that maybe that’s why she was so drawn to him, and. okay. did not need that. h50 has a tendency to make women compare their love interests to their dads that makes me very uncomfortable. (the other big one that springs to mind is when abby and chin are courting and chin opens a car door for abby and she says something about how she always admired chivalry in her dad and she thought that died out with his generation and it’s this weird thing where she seems to be flirting by going “wink wonk you make me think of my dad” and oh my god. let’s just say it’s very much not my thing.)

steve and danny end up holed up in a cabin while seven people shoot at them and ahhh, just like old times. also just like last episode, to be honest, with the whole cabin filled with poison thing, but at least there’s no poison this time! that’s a plus!

steve’s improv involves LASSO’ING a guy i’m screaming

dude gets the drop on steve, they have an epic fight, steve HITS HIS HEAD and the dude picks up a GIANT LOG to hulksmash on steve’s head, presumably, and then danny swoops in to the rescue and!!! that’s also very much like old times!!! especially with this forest green color scheme and steve lying on the floor a little dazed it really reminds me of that episode with the girlscout troop in season 3.

(so. in this possible universe we’re not talking about where steve might be sick again and could be pacing at night because he knows or fears he’s going to die (you know the one) do you think that maybe part of why his first words to danny are “why’d you leave the cabin? that wasn’t the plan” is that he was kind of... hoping the other guy would get to finish him off? do you ever think about how steve mcgarrett, man of action, would almost definitely rather go out in a blaze of glory after taking out six guys all on his own with danny having his back, than after watching his own body slowly betray him and give out on him after losing a painful and drawn-out fight with itself?)

confused, frowny steve who almost definitely has a concussion and is also still very bloody is oddly cute, gosh. also, nincompoop! definitely one of danny’s most wonderful insults yet.

quinn gets her ex arrested and yells at him and tells him that if he doesn’t clean up his act, he’ll lose custody of his daughter, and then she drives away and she’s sobbing and trying not to and just !!!!! this was definitely the good kind of “quinn has an ex-husband” storyline, but also very painful.

the sunset scene! seen this in gifset too, but hoooo boy, it hits very differently with actual sound. (i may also have described the scene to my sister and mentioned the “probably ‘cause i figured i’d see a million more” and her immediate response was “oooh, he’s dead” and yES, that’s what i was TELLING YOU i’m worried about and also what i’m not thinking about so let’s just pretend i’m not typing these words right now.)

fdjkfdjkfd i’m sure that steve turning to danny just as he says “those are the things that you’re gonna miss the most in the end, you know” after mentioning things you see every day is just. a total coincidence. yeah. he’s totally just turning away from this sunset he was so entranced by a moment ago to look at danny’s face because he wants to stretch his neck. uh huh.

there’s banter about squirrels and it’s good and then steve says “admit it danny, you’re gonna miss this when it’s done” and that sounds very meta, omg, but it gets better when danny says “yeah, maybe, but i would never say it out loud” because that is literally a way to say it, out loud.

a very good episode!! i loved meeting olivia and learning about quinn’s background and there was some prime tani content and to top it off a lot of mcdanno in the second half, and if we just completely ignore that this episode also made my anxiety about the series finale skyrocket (which i knew it would, based on what i’d gathered of other people’s response to it, but that still didn’t accurately prepare me) it was wonderful and i liked it a lot!

A/n: nobody asked for this but I am giving it to the internet anyway because there is not enough HB content out there! I was half asleep when I wrote some of these so they may not be the best but they’re what I got and I hope someone out there enjoys them!!

No, I didn't typo that. He lists his own name as Mike in the credits in this one, and who am I to disagree?

Anyway, Bunnie's finally back for this one, and we're opening with some serious action! This is it, guys! The big one! The final battle! The… oh?

Of course, it's not that simple. Robotnik's simply moved location to an active volcano! Sonic makes his way in, and, well, the entire thing is basically a trip through the Sonic Spinball game's various levels, but in comic form. He spends most of his time on pinball rails, fighting various badniks that try to kill him, as one does, and eventually ends up finding a group of captured animals who are minutes away from being roboticized.

And then comes the twist. He… doesn't rescue them.

He runs right past them to fight Robotnik, only to be tricked into an ejection pod (doesn't sound familiar at all) and launched out of the fortress, being saved from a fall into the lava by Tails. But all those animals are still in there. He aborts mission for now, noting he'll probably be going back in there, but I can't imagine he'll be there in time to save all those people that are still trapped. It's honestly the first time the comics kind of get a little dark. I guess sometimes, even the best of heroes can't save everyone, huh?

Sonic's Christmas Carol

No. NO. NO! Are we really doing this?! You're gonna make me read Charles Dickens in the middle of my Sonic comics?!

Hmph.

Well, this section of the comic does have some use. As the title suggests, this is a Sonic-themed retelling of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, with - who else? - Robotnik starring as Scrooge. And, hey ho, it's actually Snively's very first appearance in the comics! Although he's named "Snarley" in this AU. He's the first warning that appears to Scrooge, though not the first ghost, and does perhaps the most amazing anguished wail I've ever seen in a comic. I can hear it so clearly in my head.

Anyway, as you might expect, the ghosts that appear to Scrooge all come in the form of Sonic. First is the Ghost of Christmas Fast - I mean, Past - who is absolutely the most 90s thing to ever exist, and reveals to us that, hey, this is actually the same exact universe as the one from when Sonic and Robotnik were raised by Uncle Chuck as kids together!

Next is the Ghost of Christmas Present, who shows us that Scrooge has literally just mailed a freaking bomb disguised as a turkey to the Freedom Fighters. Sonic - the regular Sonic, not Ghost Sonic - decides to mail it back so make sure no one gets exploded, which pisses Scrooge off until he finds himself hanging out with the Ghost of Christmas Future. Here he sees a future in which everyone is literally just a bunch of arthritic geezers too old to fight anymore, and everything sucks. Also it turns out that this is the end of everyone's lives. The package that got mailed in the present has finally arrived, and Old Man Scrooge opens his own bomb and blows everyone up. Hooray!

In the end, all of this only existed in one of Sonic's own dreams, and he wakes up in time to celebrate Christmas with everyone at Knothole. Yay for a Christmas special!

It does get you thinking, though… how does Christmas even exist as a concept in this universe? Was there a Mobian Jesus thousands of years ago? Mobian Pagans to contribute their Yule traditions? Wonder if we'll ever hear about the real history of Mobius, huh?

1. Acts like they’re dying when they have a cold. Colossus fjkdsks. For all the caretaking he does for others you'd think he'd be okay when catching a cold himself, but he's the biggest dramatic baby when he gets ill. Nina will come in dressed to the nines in protective gear (oven mitts, face mask, looking goofy as hell) to take care of him and inevitably get roped into staying in bed with him so he's not lonely, but he doesn't want her to get sick herself, so it's a constant argument of 'What do you WANT from me?!'.

2. Gets mad at the TV and throws the remote. Neither of them really have a throw the remote reaction. They both moreso get angry and walk off to avoid doing anything drastic, though if Nina is angry enough she'll definitely punch through the tv.3. Gets the worst road rage.Nina. Colossus is usually too big to be behind the wheel so he's shoved in the passenger seat having to calm her down when they're stuck in traffic or behind a slow driver. Have a horn honked at her one too many times though and she WILL get out of the car and tell them where she'll be shoving her foot if they keep it up.4. Spends too much time in the bathroom on their phone. Nina. Colossus isn't one to waste time in places like the restroom and very rarely uses a cellphone in general because he's old fashioned as hell. Nina however will stay in there for as long as she can whether it be to avoid her classmates or to look at memes with Venom for long periods.5. Packs the whole closet for an overnight trip. Colossus. Ya boi like preparing for any and every situation that could possibly happen along with any essentials that Nina might (and does) forget on their trip. You need sunscreen? He's got it. Bandaids? Step aside Momma Bear Colossus came packed and ready with a whole med kit for this exact situation.6. Hates the in-laws. Nina. Colossus loves Ninas parents like they were his own, as the majority of his own family isn't alive anymore. But Nina? She has serious beef with Illyana after being abandoned in Limbo by her for essentially 4 years after getting into a tiff with her. They eventually make up but their relationship is strained because of the incident.7. Hits the snooze button…11 times. Nina. She's a BIG nightowl and often spends nights fighting crime and the only reason she goes to bed at even a remotely decent hour is because of Colossus and how much of an early bird he is. After around the 8th snooze he usually comes in with coffee and forces her out of bed sgksfdjkg8. Makes the other late for work. They both have their own ways of making each other late. Nina because she wants just a little more morning cuddle time or some good morning sex. Colossus because he wants Nina to have a good breakfast for the day ahead or to remind her that she needs to do xyz before leaving ("Did you take your medicine?" "Did you get your chocolate?" "Did you-" 'YES DAD')9. Uses the television as a babysitter. Colossus kjfafkaHe usually only does this method when he needs to distract the teens in the mansion while he needs to talk to someone, but if it works it works!10. Takes in the stray dog. Both of them, hands down. Colossus would probably be more open about it, get the dog groomed and taken to the vet before presenting it to Nina, but Nina being the more clumsy of the two would definitely try (and fail) to hide the dog before Colossus walked in on her trying to give it a pep talk on how it needs to be more sneaky LOL11. Suggests a 3am trip to McDonald’s. Venom kdjkfkaHe wants those fresh 3am hashbrowns!!12. Leaves their shoes out for the other to trip over. Nina. Not on purpose, but just is kind of absentminded with this type of thing and when she gets home she's just concerned about getting her outerwear off and laying on the floor. Colossus is the unfortnate victim of tripping over both her shoes, bag, or even her if it's one of those types of days.13. Can’t make up their mind when it comes to dinner. Nina, mostly because of Venom who's first response is always usually 'TATER TOTS, CHOCOLATE, LIVER!' despite Nina always saying that they can't live off just those three things (ESPECIALLY not the last one).14. Needs to be reminded of all their appointments. Nina. If her head wasn't attached she'd forget where she put it, so Colossus leaves lots of sticky notes and texts for her to remember upcoming appointments (and little cute notes along with them) and on the rare occasion Wade or Fury if it involves 'business' business.15. Bribes the other into doing chores, getting out of the house…and taking a shower. Colossus gjskgjsg Nina can be a bit of a shut-in due to her depression and working on her school work for long periods, so Colossus often tries to bribe her with little things like sweets or even some snoosnoo if it means she'll get up and take a walk outside with him.16. Picks the movies. Colossus usually. Nina was banned after telling him that 'Us' was a romantic comedy.17. Takes the safety steps when building a pillow fort. Colossus, he's a momma hen at heart and wants to make sure the fort is extra fortified for any rough and tumbling they might do inside wink wonk18. Kisses the other’s injuries better. Both. Seeing that they always come back at least a little battered and bruised after their missions they always take a little time to pay extra attention to the injured spots with lots of kisses and shares stories between one another about how they got them before drifting off to sleep.19. Is addicted to angry birds, game of war, candy crush, temple run, or flappy bird. Colossus. He doesn't like to admit it but those games often take his attention and would probably be the only reason he would be stuck in the bathroom on his phone (from the earlier question). The house eventually has an intervention for him when he can't focus on anything else but getting an extra life in Candy Crush djgksgs20. Kills the spiders. Venom eats them before Nina can freak out too bad over them LOL21. Hogs the blankets. Colossus. Since he's so big its not hard for him to tug some of the blanket and end up with the entire thing. This results in Nina forcing him to be the big spoon so even if that happens she still gets to be warm ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ22. Takes pranks too far. Nina for sure. She usually teams up with Bobby (Iceman) or Kurt (Nightcrawler) to pull some silly prank on Cyclops because he's always so uptight about everything that end up going too far which results in her getting scolded quite a bit by both Colossus and Xavier. This doesn’t stop her from continuing to do stupid stuff like making sticky hands to harass her peers from afar.23. Makes the dirty jokes. Nina, though Colossus is known to fire back some dirty jokes of his own at rare moments which often catches her off guard. They even go as far as teaching each other their native languages so that they can do this easier in public places (it really doesn't work though because they both still get super embarrassed when it happens)24. Keeps a piggy bank. Colossus. He usually keeps one as a curse jar and likes putting money in whenever anyone else curses too. Needless to say when Wade was living in the mansion that piggy got very full. He later uses the money to help mutants in need and eventually when he starts dating Nina, to use for what he hopes will later be a nice date or a trip to Paris for them to visit her family.25. Has no problem having ice cream for breakfast. Nina. Especially after a long night of fighting crime, she has no qualms with plopping down in bed with a big bowl of chocolate ice cream for her and Venom to feast on while Colossus looks at them in horror.26. Gets a tattoo when they’re drunk. Colossus. He's lucky they can't aren't permanent because of his metal skin because when he really lets loose he ends up waking up with some really silly tattoos, usually big and gaudy and of a 'mom' heart or his current beau. With Nina being able to control ink though some of the tattoos can only leave if she permits it, which leaves her to be very devious sometimes.27. Trips over their own feet. Nina. She's a mega clutz and often ends up tripping over herself as a result. Luckily she's goofy and can laugh at herself when these things happen, despite wanting to die inside skgjsgs28. Makes the other go for a walk. Both. Be it because of a tiff they had or just to unwind from a long day they usually end up taking long walks at night to decompress and talk about what's on their mind. Despite not being big on PDA Colossus always ends up either holding Ninas hand and/or pulling her in close when they walk because he enjoys being close to her.29. Whines until they get what they want.Nina. She doesn't do it often but when a chocolate hankering kicks in or there's something new she wants to try with Colossus she will pull out all the stops, including latching onto him with her powers until he's too tired to argue gsjgskgs30. Tries to act tough but really isn’t. Colossus. He's got a lot of bark but hates using his bite and will only use it when push comes to shove. Overall he just uses his size to lecture his students when they've done something wrong.

31. Talks the most, says the least. Nina. She can let her words wander quite a bit when she's not focusing on the conversation at hand, but she gets her point across when needed.32. Talks the least, says the most.Colossus. He doesn't talk as much as Nina, but when he does speak his words are short and to the point.

How quickly did/will they fall in love? - It was neither a fast nor a slow process, I would say it was just right for them; it required some work, some proper effort to meet one another halfway (all if we’re working within the MysMe canon) but they did it at their own pace

How was their first kiss? - Probably epic… I don’t remember the canon first kiss for 707 and MC, BUT I do love to imagine Mariah and Saeyoung’s, and I imagine it something along the lines of ‘sudden’, as in, suddenly their lips were meeting and when they pulled back, both were just kinda standing there, wondering whether that had really happened or not

Who proposed? - I think we said Saeyoung? And that he made a huge deal out of it? But I wouldn’t be surprised if Mariah secretly suspected all along because Saeyoung planned something so showy - it may or may not involve the pigs - that she would have noticed something, considering she’s wicked smart and definitely knows him well

Who is the best man/men? - Saeyoung would probably get Zen and Yoosung in on this one, because he knows Zen would be offended if not asked, and Yoosung genuinely upset - and also because he loves his friends, but not enough to ask Jumin (or at least not outright); depending on how we decide for the story, maybe Saeran?

First off i just wanna say that i love the phrase “wink wonk” and will now be using that forever

Tommy

You initiated the break, Tommy was drinking more, smoking more, working more, doing everything that didn’t have to do with you more. If he was going to keep you, he needed to realize what exactly he was missing. And he did, in his own, weird, Tommy way. When you came back, he had several extravagant gifts set out for you and took you away to London for one of the fanciest dinners you’ve ever had. The two of you headed up to your hotel room after dinner and it was eerily quiet as Tommy poured the two of you a drink.

“You didn’t have to do this, Tommy. I don’t need all these fancy things.”

“I know.”

“I just want you to pay attention to me more than work-“

“I know.”

“And to love me more than work.”

Tommy walked over to you and whispered “Want me to show you how much more I love you than work?”

And he did, over, and over, and over, and over again. (Then once more to be safe)

Arthur

The first night back after your break with Arthur was… a little awkward. Arthur is a little awkward, and he was trying his best to get back into the same rhythm the two of you were in before the break, but also trying to acknowledge your thoughts and feelings and that the break happened (imagine Tommy’s wedding speech- that level awkward). He didn’t want to assume that the two of you would ‘get back together’ the first night but you can’t blame the man for hoping. But you missed him too, and you needed him just as much as he needed you. Your first night back started off awkward but was filled with laughing, giggling, and lots and lots of back-together sex. Oh, and he showed you the garden he started to distract himself from the break, that was his favorite part until the sex that is.

John

The “break in your relationship” was the years that John was in France. It wasn’t a ‘proper’ break, as everyone else would say. And the two of you still considered yourselves to be together, but the physical distance was difficult. When the boys were finally coming back, you made sure to bring out your nicest dress and do your hair the way you knew John liked. You waited at the station with Polly, Ada, and little Finn in anxious excitement for them to get off the train. Polly was the first to spot them, and as they made their way through the crowd the three of you were all crying. The second John’s eyes landed on you he stood frozen, bag dropping, as you ran to his opening arms and clung to each other like the world was ending. That first night back moved in waves- waves of extreme lust, and waves of extreme emotion, crying for lost time, that you’re back in each other’s arms, and the need to be so close that for that night (and the subsequent three days) the two of you were never not touching- or out of bed, really.

Finn

Finn very much is ready to jump right back into the relationship and try to make up for the lost time that you had. He’s so eager to please and just wants to show you how much he loves you and how happy he is that you’re back because let’s be honest, Finn missed you so much. However all things romantic seem to leave Finn’s mind because he more or less kept a journal/scrapbook of pictures and things that happened while you two were apart and busts it out the first night you’re back together because “you won’t BELIEVE the shit that happened when you were gone let’s start with Ruby throwing Tommy’s glasses in the Cut” and it’s like a 100 slide power point presentation.

Michael

Michael took your break kinda hard, drinking and doing coke more than usual while you were gone. He didn’t want (or let) anyone see how he was feeling about you being gone, so he turned even more stone cold to everyone in the office. Luckily for him, Polly knows how horrendously Michael handles his emotions and smacked his head on straight to get things right with you when your break ended. The first night you spent together started out a lot like Tommy- but he soon fell into the comfort you gave him and let himself become more vulnerable to you. Don’t get me wrong, you and Michael fucked like animals, but you also got to express how much you missed each other and loved each other in small little touches, silent kisses, and of course, more sex.

Isaiah

Isaiah, the ever so suave man that he is, had been planning exactly how to spend your first night back together from your break since the day that you decided to take a break in the first place. You needed a break from the petty arguments the two of you would have because of Isaiah assuming that since he was the ‘big bad alpha’ that he held the reigns in your relationship. When you were finally ready to try again, he had planned for a movie at the cinema, drinks in a private room at the Garrison, and then returning back to his place where he intended to sweep you off your feet again. And he did. Unknowingly to Isaiah, you had also anticipated your boyfriend to ‘sweep you off your feet’ and had planned your undergarments accordingly. The first night you were back together, you reminded Isaiah who was really in charge in this relationship.

Freddie

Freddie had convinced himself it was for the best when the two of you took a break. The two of you spent some much needed time looking into yourselves and working on how to be better people before deciding to get back together. Freddie doesn’t have much, he knows this, but what he doesn’t have in money or worldly possessions, he certainly makes up for in love and attention. Freddie can’t stop looking at you, kissing you, praising you, any chance he can get- especially in the bedroom. Your first night together is almost exclusively in the bedroom… and don’t worry, Freddie remembered not to shave.

Alfie

He tries to play it up all romantic. A nice dinner (but not too nice), some flirting (but not too flirty), Alfie wants to show you he’s ready to start again but doesn’t want to overwhelm you or seem like he’s smothering you. He settles on a “romantic” dinner in his office, ushering you in as Ollie hastily throws the last minute items on the desk.

“Oh what the fuck you doin’ mate! S’posed to be out of ‘ere by now you are-“

“I know I’m sorry please forgive me!”

“Alfie you don’t need to be so mean to him, the boy already does whatever you tell him to do.”

“Right but all this was s’posed to ‘ave been done by now, all ready for ya an’ all.”

Either way you have a nice little dinner and let him have dessert afterwards (wink wink).

Bonnie

Sweet boy went to his dad for advice- and when it was a little too… outlandish… he immediately went to his sisters. Bonnie missed you a lot, and didn’t want this first night back together to be… less than memorable. He wanted everything to be perfect, right down to how he folded the bedsheets (just the way you liked them, too). Bonnie was always a thoughtful boyfriend, and when you wanted to take a break he put all that thoughtfulness into what he could do better (his sisters did not miss an opportunity to roast him and then give him advice on how to be better). Your first night back together is simple, sweet, and a little better than you remember.

Big Bang: Jiyong

I was lowkey torn between Taeyang and Jiyong, but the more I thought about it, the more I loved the thought about with you and Jiyong. One thing you would love the most about Jiyong would be that he would let you be your own person, he wouldn’t want to smother you, and he’d be mushy and lovie dovie when needed. I could see Jiyong wanting to take another step in your relationship after a few months and you’d freak out slightly and he’d realize that it would be too soon. He’d let you vent about your fears and worries and you two would talk all night about your relationship and what times would be good to move on and when to chill out. There’d be some trial and error, but he’d completely understand you’d need time and he wouldn’t push you or make you uncomfortable. And another way he’d respect you is by keeping your relationship private. There are certain things that he would let the general public see, but your relationship isn’t people’s business, and he’d keep the details to yourselves. The most the general public would see would be a cute Instagram selfie or picture together and he’s just got a funny/cute/tease or joke type of caption. You travel with him a lot for his promotions you went with him to Paris. Date night would always be going out at night and goofing off around town, date night is always an adventure. Your main plan would always be to hang out at the apartment with take out, but that would be too boring, so you go out. You’ll even go out in sweats because why the f not? You’re spending time together, that’s all that matters! There is the occasional dinner date night where you’ll get dressed up, but those are normally for like anniversaries or dinner with the rest of Big Bang. There is very mild PDA between you two, backing up this statement from earlier on how Jiyong keeps your relationship private. But if you’re feeling cuddly and touchy, he wouldn’t mind at all. Alone time at the apartment is very cuddly and giggly, and you two are super sweet together, I love!!

iKon: Bobby

You and Bobby are like one of those couples that are almost completely opposite from each other, but you two work and y’all are super cute! You two will tease each other a lot, but you tease each other just far enough and when you’re around others it’s always funny to see their reactions. He’ll chill out for you, but you’ll also get hyper/crazy for him, it’s amazing how you two work. No one saw you coming. But the day Bobby saw you out at a shop, he just knew that he could get past that RBF face and see the real you, and he was successful. For the whole time that you are together, Bobby dedicates his time to make you as comfortable as possible. You would inform him that you’re not the best at maintaining long term relationships, and he’d understand and let you take the lead and move at a rate that is most comfortable for you. Though sometimes he’ll get really insecure and fill his mind with worries like you don’t love him enough, or you don’t want to be with him anymore. You do your absolute best to show him that you really do love him, it’s just a slow process for you, and Bobby will understand 100%. He loves to take you out to brunch or just lunch which is your bonding time, and he loves to come to your school and surprise you with lunch, which is always an iced coffee and your favorite sandwich. The smile on your face sends Bobby over the moon and he feels like the best boyfriend ever! He L O V E S to call you “my girl” while having a secure hand around your waist. Bobby is very chill, but he’s also not afraid to set someone straight if they were to get too comfortable. He’ll tend to get mushy with his feelings for you if you’re hanging out at the dorm cuddling and he’ll take a minute to think about all the things he loves about you. You’re left with a huge grin on your face, and Bobby is as red as a tomato, it’s so sweet! Date night will either be at a café, a dinner date when you two meet up with Hanbin and his boo, or going on late night adventures. You two love to get into just enough trouble and get lost in a city you’re not used to. You always end up home one way or another, and you always have a story to tell afterwards. Bobby complimenting you is an absolute must, from your make up that day, your outfit, to the way you did your hair, he’s always giving you compliments that’ll make you feel good about yourself and make you happy. And last but not least, you two will have PDA for days because Bobby loves to show people that you’re his girl, wink wonk.

NCT: Yuta

With all the members that are in NCT, there were many many options, but Yuta in my opinion, is the best option for you! Starting out, Yuta would allow you to take lead in the relationship sometimes. He doesn’t always want to take lead and seem over-bearing. The lead on where to eat, what to do, or even taking your relationship to another level will be split between the two of you, and you both can live freely and happily with each other. He can easily get you hyper as well, but lazy days to chill out are more important. Lazy days equals good take out food, comfortable sweats, and sweet pillow talk. Yuta will also spoil you a LOT, like getting you little presents here and there because you deserve to be treated like a princess. There would be a little conflict in moving further in your relationship and Yuta would over-react slightly and he would think you wouldn’t want him. Yuta can be stubborn, so it would take a bit of convincing to get Yuta back on the right side of the tracks. He’d also take time to get used to your RBF, so you’d hear, “are you sure you’re not mad?” often. The best bonding time you two would have would be getting something pierced and getting food afterwards, and laughing at the members when they’re like, “OMG YOU GOT ANOTHER PIERCING!?” You two would tease each other a lot, similar to how you and Bobby would tease each other. And Yuta would go the extra half-mile to mess with your hair sometimes because he thinks you’re cute when you’re annoyed. You hit him and laugh at him in revenge. Similar to the other two boys, you two will have late night talks about life and end up being really mushy and lovie with each other. Depending on who’s watching and who’s around will determine how much PDA Yuta will show, but his hand holding your hand is always a MUST. That’s Yuta’s universal way of showing you’re his girl. You get featured in V Lives a lot, and movie then dinner dates are the go to date for the two of you.

Pentagon: Hui

The most mature relationship out of the four ships, but there is still room for childishness and sweetness. Similar to Jiyong, he would allow you to be your own person. The only difference would be is that he would be a big more needy and mushy than Jiyong would be at times. He’d want you to be completely honest with him on when you feel like he is too overbearing, but he really does try his best to give you enough space. Then I also feel like Hui would have a good mentality for having a long term relationship, but whether he knew your commitment issues or not, he’d take his time to keep you comfortable, and he wouldn’t mind how much time you would need. Your dates are always going to be outside, whether it be night or day. Hui would always try to find some place new to keep the fire in date night, and he’d always enjoy surprising you. The element of surprise would always keep you on your toes, and he’d love it. You also convince Hui to allow you to tag along to Pentagon’s foreign promotions, and you always have a blast with the boys. You really help mom the younger members with Hui, and you’re always at the edge of the stage prepared to pull any lint rolls or fix any imperfections that’s on their outfits. You also tag along for dinner a lot, and you always leave an extra tip because feeding ten giants is not an easy job. No matter where you are, Hui will always try to show some ounce of dominance. Hui can get a little insecure sometimes when other guys will look at you, and he’ll always have an arm around your waist. And then if the looks or guys get too close for comfort, Hui will legit hug you and will not let you go until the guy/guys are away. You’ll tease him sometimes because he’ll be a little pouty afterwards, but he explains he always hugs you out of love, and he doesn’t want anyone trying to get something they can’t have. Late night pillow talks are an absolute must, it’s a great time for you two to talk about your relationship, talk about life, and rant about life’s problems. And last but not least, he enjoys taking aesthetic pictures of you, or with you both to show you off to the world and fans, because you’re one of the most important things in his life, and he loves to show the world how much he loves you.

(1/2) Scariest Roller Coaster Ride.

Here is a big TMI: all roller coaster rides are scary. I think the only ride I can stand is "Alap Alap" which equals to kiddie's ride, but my legs have become too long for me to ride it comfortably. Sad.

But what I am going to call as "scariest roller coaster ride" is not the literal one. I know we tend to say that life is like a roller coaster ride--sometimes you're going up slowly, then on the next second you sliding down with a speed you never imagine of. However, the past two months really feel like a period where I am sitting on an endless ride, constantly going up and down. The difference with the regular roller coaster? I have no idea when it is going to end. (Spoiler: thank god it already ended now!)

Truthfully, I think the ride started when I entered the final year of university with two final assignments on my way. The end of 2019 was really crazy, as well as beginning of 2020, when I feel like I only came home to take a quick bath and sleep. It was a period when I was drained physically and mentally, with the crazy class schedules, insane amount of workload, and the hours I spend outside that leaves me with so little personal space to charge myself. But that is going to be a story for another day.

Skipping through the timeline, we all know that Corona pretty much ruined 2020 for all of us--especially for third and final year students. Some people have to postpone their internship, some people can't even continue their final assignments and could only be waiting patiently for miracle to happen. I was the second type of person. As my final assignment required me to do a laboratory activity, being at home was a total let down for me--I was mad that I had to postpone everything after struggling with lots of things, yet I know that I could not do anything about it, not even asking my lecturer because it would be pointless to ask about things no one sure about the answer. We were constantly given a false hope as when would the school be open again. Sucks.

This crazy ride started when last July, my friend and I gathered courage to ask our lecturer in charge of our final assignment after seeing some of our friends got a "replacement" for their final assignment. At that point we didn't expect anything, we just thought that it was best to have the initiative to ask about the matter first. Because if there was any chance of doing something, we really would do it in a heartbeat. I think it was the peak of our desperation after knowing that we really couldn't went to the lab in July after getting a tiny bit of hope about it, while our super tight rundown said that we HAD to start gathering data on first week of July if we want to make it to September cut-out.

My lecturers proposed that we changed our method in doing research to do a literature study. At that announcement, I was like: "YES MAYBE I GOT A CHANCE." Moreover, on the first glance, doing literature study might seem slightly more simple than doing an overnight stay in laboratory ONLY for one data. So right after the said proposal, I started to gather up some papers that could be useful.

It turned out gathering papers were not as easy as I thought it would be, given that we had very specific requirement for the papers to meet our objective. Like, when I thought this paper gave the end-product that was similar to what I wanted to talk about, they didn't use the procedure that fit my thesis and vice versa. It was like doing treasure hunts but make it on steroid, judging how I feel like I turned googled upside down while doing this first batch of papers-hunting. On first week, we only managed to gather less than 20 papers, which I only contributed in half of those amount while feeling like I've read hundreds or so. I mean, just imagine--back then, I spent hours in front of my laptop to see that by the end of the day, only one paper fit the "requirement" we had.

When we started put the data from the table into words and paragraphs, that was when the real struggle begun in this literature-study-in-the-making. At that point, we weren't even sure how would we present the data--were we going to do statiscics? if yes, what were we going to test? So we just started to put the explanations of the data and phenomenons we read on the papers. But here was the thin: you couldn't just compare what happened in paper A to what happened in paper B as the experiments weren't done in same conditions. So the best we could do was trying to find a reason why certain phenomenon happened.

That, too, was a huge struggle.

When you analyze your own data, you could think of lots of reasons why the experiment didn't turn the way you planned based on your experience. Even more, you could just blame your own inadequancy in doing the experiments or managing the data. But when you did a literature study, it felt as if all the questions and weird phenomenon had to have an EXACT and more detailed answer as it was something that has been researched before. It was a struggle too, because published papers were different from a full report--published papers only cover the main point of the research without telling the reason why such result was obtained. So this part of the research became another batch of treasure hunting. Aha.

For weeks, we had tried to think about how we could make a statistical analysis possible with the data that was super varied. On the same time, the lectures had begun for underclass so naturally our advisors get busy--and we were lost. Luckily, miracle happened when my friend found a method that could fit literature study without burning our brains in process. Oh, here was one funny thing, have you ever thought of discussing with your thesis advisor in the middle of the night? I never, but it truly happened to me! I was not ones who stay up late a lot, so it was real struggle but also blessings because we know that there weren't lots lecturers that were as dedicated as mine are. Just in the right time when we found a method, they approved the one we wanted to use as well as giving input on how we could possibly compare the data we have without risking the comparison being invalid.

With the new light and spirit, everything went smoothly as we now had clear direction on what we were going to do with our thesis.

But of course, just like a roller coaster, the calm phase didn't stay for a long time. I remember it vividly, right on the first day of September, my lecturers suddenly texted us that the deadline for final thesis defense is on 10th so we had to submit our report at 6th the latest. At that point, we were really surprised, considering that our final report was only 80-85% from being done and we were scared that there would be lots of things we had to revise. I think it was safe to say that the next two-three days we were like mad robot trying to meet deadline. I didn't even want to think about the time I spent typing and correcting--what I remember was at some point, reading about fats made me nauseous. HAHA.

Long story short, we have managed to DRAMATICALLY make it before the deadline. And yes, there were lots of last minute revision but I am not going to talk about it. Wink wonk. Our final defense happened on 9th and I swear that I started getting stomach cramps on the night before from being too nervous. The good thing about online seminars was, when you were the one presenting it to the audience, all you saw on your screen was your presentations--not the one who were in charge to examine you. I thought it was what made me a bit calm when practicing. I just thought it like this: "take it as if you are shooting for something and you only have one shot in doing so!" But on the same time, it was stressing since I was the one presenting, I couldn't have a cheat-sheet on my laptop HAHAHA.

I tried to make some cheat notes on post its, but I ended up memorizing everything. It wasn't hard, as I've read those words non stop for the past few months. It turned out that my biggest struggle didn't come from me failing to memorize things. It went smoothly and I maintained to keep calm throughout the presentation until I see my camera sensor went off. YES. My internet decided to fail me on important date despite my effort to use the best one available at home. It was really embarrassing especially since it happened during the time I was pointing out something. But other than that, it went smoothly to the point my lecturer even complimented our composure, which was a big accomplishment to me since during practice I was known to talk a beat to fast than I supposed to.

Another compliment that I remember clearly came from my examiner, who first appreciated us for reading 100+ papers during the process of this thesis. He appreciated our effort for making this truly a "proper way" to replace the lab and took the literature study seriously. I think it was one of the highlight since we were pretty nervous that the examiner would find a literature study unamusing.

I never talk about this out loud, but before my thesis defense, I had lots of issues regarding my confidence and my social skill. I asked myself, "would everyone even notice that I passed huge stone tomorrow?" after seeing the amount of support people give to my friends through social media, knowing I was (am) not the most sociable and communicative person on earth. It somehow made me worried that I might be the only one happy during a faithful day. I thought about telling people too, but I had this knack of being invisible that I would rather stay silent than knowing no one hear my voice.

However, the world told me otherwise. Even since the night before my presentation, people told me good luck and even asked whether they could watch my defense--those whom I thought don't care about me turned out to be the one handing me big amount of support. Some friends gave me encouragement through texts, some even sent me small treats to celebrate the happy days. I was really happy--the word was even understatement on how I feel. It wasn't the treats that made me happy--it was the support and the fact they cared enough about me to sent me an encouraging messages.

It turned out that there were more people who cared about me. All I had to do was to be more appreciative of those who care and love me instead of trying to fit with someone who I wanted to be with--who clearly didn't want me in return. I told myself that I should be grateful of people in my life while stop comparing how many friends to I have with the others. This was not a competition and I should stop putting people's life as the standard of feeling happy. That was not healthy at all.

You too, in case no one told you anything today, you have done well and you are loved by many.

Ah, do you think the ride ended after my final defense? Sadly, it isn't. But it would be too long if I make this into a oneshot. So I guess, this cliffhanger would work for now. Until then! Let's say... we just finished going down and currently going slowly while making our way up.
