*Not getting into technicalities, the baby is biologically both their daughter, maybe they found something with a quirk that can do that, moving on!

*Knowing that Hizashi was born with his quirk and managed to break the windows and bursted his parents eardrums did worry you a bit but Aizawa makes sure to remind you hes right there if the baby is born with Hizashi’s quirk, lucky she wasn’t

*The nurse lays her on your chest and you finally get to see her, bright red eyes {Manga Hizashi} and black peach fuzz on her little head, you carried her for 9 months and she had the nerve to come out looking like her daddies

* Aizawa had little twinkles in his eyes and Hizashi is full out balling his eyes out as you three finally get to meet your baby

* "Just as cute as her mom." “She’s perfect!” 

*They are gonna feel bad for having to leave you alone to deal with the baby a lot {5 jobs takes up a lot of their time} but they always try and deal with the baby in the morning for you, come home for lunch, between patrols, and after work anything to give you a break even if its only a few minutes

*Neither really mind diaper duty, Aizawa is kinda bad at it though, he’ll get it he just needs a bit more practice and both are fine with feeding, burping, extra

*Aizawa got nap/sleep time, him and his daughter are one in the same always fighting their sleep and being cranky but they can nap just about anywhere. You might wake up one morning and find Aizawa in the crib with her

*You guys definitely put a radio in the nursery so she can hear her papa’s voice when he does his radio show

*She loves her mom’s cuddles and kisses and hates when Aizawa or Mic try and butt in on her love, once Mic tried to steal as kiss while you were giving her kisses and he got baby slapped she might have been blabbering but you're sure she told Mic to wait his turn

*Mic’s quirk lets him mimic voices and hes gotten great at doing you and Aizawa and he’ll learn all the voices of her favorite cartoon characters because lets be real who doesn’t want their fav character to sing them a lullaby

*Hes the best a bedtime stories since he can do such good voices for each character and being a dj/radio host/announcer/performer he can really bring the story to life

*Shes an attention hog when it comes to Hizashi, she’ll scream her little lungs off till he does the voices or a little dance, gives her raspberries, or funny faces

*She likes to yank Mic’s mustache as much as she does Aizawa’s hair, pro guys

*Present Mic themed onesies, yes plural Hizashi bought one of each one available and probably has a pacifier with his mustache printed on it 

*Hizashi got a custom Eraserhead onesie made so Aizawa wouldn’t be left out

*Cat themed nursery

*If you think Mic wont bring her to the radio show your wrong,

* “Hello listeners we have a very special guest today! Say hello!” *Happy baby gibberish* 

*Aizawa will use his capture scarf as a baby carrier

*Baby sensory videos dont really catch her attention, Present Mic videos do though hes bright and colorful zooming around and making weird noises so your guessing thats why or maybe she just misses her papa

*You three were sitting on the couch as she was doing tummy time on a mat on the floor after a bit you heard Mic gasped and turned to see her making her little way over to the three of you on her hands and knees 

*You were sitting in the kitchen feeding her when she started looking around “Da... Da-da?” “Oh! Shota! Hizashi!” The come running in and are next to you within second, the second she sees Aizawa she starts bouncing “Da-da! Da-da!” 

*You three were laying in bed when the baby monitor crackled to life with her cries “Y/n-” “Nope thats your child after midnight-” “Ma-ma!” Aizawa chuckles “She says otherwise.” 

*Hizashi cant wait for her to start calling him too, he was feeding her some baby food when she pointed to him “nana!” “nana?” He hears you go to laughing behind him and turns “What?” “Your hair Hizashi, she means banana." "No!"

*She’ll eventually call him pa-pa but its banana for at least a month

*Aizawa comes home from an after school meeting to see her sitting on the floor playing with her Present Mic plushy “Hi kitty cat.” She turns “Hi da-da!” She pushes herself up and waddles over to him on wobbly legs, he scooped her up and books it to find and show you and Mic

*She'll walk into your room and wake Hizashi to put her on the bed she'll then crawl over him and you to lay on Aizawa's chest

*If she sleeps on you, who sleeps in the middle, she'll push her dads away these are her cuddles

*If its Hizashi she chooses their both spread out hogging the bed x2

*I can see her liking FatGum in her younger years because he sorta reminds her of Mic

Okay but Oikawa is so invested in his daughter’s hobbies. He insists on taking her to her dance lessons whenever he can so he can watch and help her practice at home. He looks up videos of dancers online and studies them with her like he does for volleyball. “See the way she’s standing right here sweetheart? Let’s try doing that tomorrow. Having good technique is important so you don’t hurt yourself. Just ask Uncle Iwa!” Then he ruffles her hair and lets her critique his volleyball games too. “Dad you served the ball too hard that time! It’s supposed to stay inside the lines!” And he just nods in agreement, “That’s right angel. Sometimes adrenaline can cause silly mistakes but I’ll try harder next time okay? Just for you.”

Summary: this is cheesy af with all the clichés, but I could not help myself. apologies in advance for the ending. its not my fave but there maybe a part 2.🤷‍♀️ - you and Kenny have had a flirty friendship for years, neither admitting to feelings until a room mix up on the Jericho cruise forces someone’s hand

You would never publicly express it, but you had been excited for this for months. The cruise was the highlight of many pro wrestlers’ year, it was hard work and tiring but also kind of like a vacation. You had sold it yourself as a work trip, when Kenny had asked if you would be attending you gave your usual nonchalant shrug and said, “don’t know I’ll see”, you really wanted to go but the thought of being trapped on a boat with Kenny was hell to you, I mean it is bad enough having a thing for your friend but a friend that you can’t escape? Yeah.

He looked disappointed you noticed, to you he was a good friend you had met on your first tour of japan, hed showed you around and the conversation and good times had flowed. You kept in touch, talking every day, and to Kenny it was a way to feel close to you, the truth was he really liked you and he figured that friendship was better than nothing so over the years you settled into your usual routine of dinner, exploring and video games whenever you happened to be in the same place together. Neither being brave enough to make a move more than the odd kiss goodnight that you would awkwardly forget the next day.

A few days after your non-committal response to Kenny you had replied to the email booking you for an appearance on the cruise, you figured it would be fun and since the boat was so big the chances of actually having to run into him where slim. You were amazing friends, but you were afraid of your feelings getting in the way and ruining what you had spent so long building. The thought of losing him was too much to bear, that and the million questions you would have from your mum if you told her you and Kenney had fallen out. She was convinced he was the perfect man for you, something you denied to her face every time while thinking how right she was in your head.

Arriving at the docks in Miami you had already bumped into a few familiar faces who seemed surprised you actually come along, none more so than Kenny of all people who you just happened to run into while waiting to check in “so much for ill see (Y/N)” he said teasing you.

“one moment let me just get my supervisor” said the assistant behind the desk, after completing multiple attempts to book you in. this was not your first rodeo, and you knew this never ended well. “I’m so sorry miss, we have your reservation but I’m afraid due to a mistake you haven’t been allocated a cabin” the poor girl told you, the look on her face bracing herself for your wrath.

“okay, so where am I supposed to sleep? A lounger on deck?!” you replied attempting to keep your cool.

“what’s up?” Kenny cut in before you could continue your tirade at the poor girl behind the desk.

“so, I’m booked on the cruise but they don’t have a cabin for me, I mean how does that even work” you sassed looking directly at the assistant.

“just stay with me, I have a suite so there’s room, you take the bed ill sleep in the lounge its fine” he said.

“you can’t sleep on the couch in your own room Kenny, ill just call the agent and let them know I’m cancelling, I’m not doing this” you quickly answered him

“woah, wait. You cant cancel and your here now, it’s not like we haven’t roomed before it’ll be fine” said Kenny softly grabbing your arm to stop you leaving.

“fine, if that’s okay I will. But I’m not happy about it no offence” you added.

“none taken” said Kenny as he approached the desk.

After making your way to your room, arguing over who was taking the bed (Kenny insisted you take it) and a quick shower and change you where finally doing your favourite thing; sitting in the lounge with a large tequila and tonic. Kenny was nursing a coke zero, he didn’t drink but being around you when you did made all those feelings begin to bubble to the surface, because he knew what was coming. When you drank you got chatty, and you made him promises you (and he) knew you wouldn’t remember in the morning. “stop looking at me like that, it makes me nervous” you told him laughing

The next day things had started without a hitch. You had gone to the company to get your official name badge and started to set up your office so it felt more like your own. “I didn’t know what you liked so I ordered all of my favorites assuming that you must like at least one of them” johnny said as he pulled out chopsticks and separated them for you.

“I guess” he said before he let out a soft sigh “it gets tough being alone though. And since I cant really go outside and just do whatever I want to do, I almost just kind of wish that I would be working more.” He confessed.

You had no idea what you could say to make johnny feel better. And If you could make him feel even a fraction of a bit better you would do so in a heart beat.

You had always known that the companies of idol groups tend to have favorites and display that unequal kindness quite unashamedly. But to hear how sad johnny was and see the look in his eyes, you had realized that there could be a lot more hurt than you had ever thought.

The two of you ate comfortably as you enjoyed the food that johnny had prepared. The two of you had made small jokes back and forth with one another and it felt good to feel the energy of the room switch from sad to lively.

I Know : Hyejoo x Reader

The Mnet Asian Music Awards, or MAMA awards was known to be one of the biggest award shows in kpop. Your group and many others had been invited as guests and performers. What you didn’t expect was to get offered a special stage with a male idol. More specifically you had a special stage with Taeyong of NCT.

To be honest you didn’t know how you were the one offered the opportunity. Given the fact that you were a rookie, only have debuting about a year ago. Either way you were still insanely happy that you were able to perform with such a well respected senior.

The one problem you ran into right away was that you didn’t exactly know how to tell your girlfriend about it. Of course she would be happy for you but you knew she’d be not the most enthusiastic about seeing you dance with a guy. Especially given the style of performance you and Taeyong were given.

So you just ended up not telling Hyejoo about the stage at all. It was supposed to be a secret stage, your own members weren’t allowed to know. You knew your manager would probably be upset with you if you told her anyway. So you just decided to stay quiet.

It was now the night before the big day and you couldn’t sleep. You’d slipped out of your bed and walked outside onto the balcony deciding that what you needed was a breath of fresh air.

“Y/N? Honey, why are you out here?” Sieun, your leader asked gently.

You replied “I cant sleep...nerves for tomorrow I guess.”

Sieun asked “do you want me to call Hyejoo? She’s on the floor below us right?”

You immediately replied, maybe a little too fast “no no...I mean- no thats okay. I don’t want to disturb her.”

Sieun wrapped and arm around your shoulder “it’s getting late and we have to be up early in the morning. Especially you, you can sleep in my bed hmm?”

You nodded then realized what she said “wait- how did you know-”

She replied “I know everything, come on now.”

The next day you’d been woken up and taken to do a few quick practices with Taeyong. You liked him, he was nice and constantly joked around to try and make you more comfortable. But you still couldn’t ignore the pit in the bottom of your stomach.

As your group did hair and makeup you scrolled through your phone, different friends of you and your members coming in to say hi. You couldn’t help but feel guilty when you saw your girlfriend come to find you.

She managed to pull you from the room to find privacy somewhere else. Almost immediately she could tell something was wrong by the way you couldn’t even look her in the eye.

“What’s wrong?” She reached down for your hand but you couldn’t even bring yourself to hold it.

“I-I’m sorry I’m just distracted. Nerves before the big performance you know?” You tried to play it off but it was no use.

Hyejoo saw right through you, “you’re not telling me something. I know you don’t get nervous before stages, you never do.”

Your breath caught in your throat but she pulled you into her arms “just relax. Whatever it is that’s bothering you will be over soon, I can tell. If you want to tell me you can, but if not you don’t have to. Your group is going to to great tonight. If you need me you know where to find me ok?”

You nodded before squeezing her tight, happy that she wasn’t pushing you to say whatever it was that was bothering you.

Hyejoo was right when she said your group performance would go well. It went even better than that, perfect even. Every single one of your members killed their parts and you did too.

Your group happened to be sitting across from Loona so when you got up for your special stage, Hyejoo noticed immediately. Her eyebrows knitted together in confusion and her facial expression alone asked “are you okay?”

You nodded and reassured her that you were fine before following your manager back to your dressing room.

Looking yourself over in the mirror you smiled softly when you saw how beautiful you looked. The outfit your stylist had picked out was...just enough to make you feel slightly sexy but still very comfortable.

You made your way to the stage and the lights dimmed. Everyone fell silent not knowing what was happening. When the lights came on and they saw it was you, they gasped in surprise. It was only when the music came on and you started to dance that the arena erupted into cheers once more. When Taeyong made his entrance you relaxed and danced more fluidly.

Throughout your performance you looked in Hyejoo’s general direction. It took everything in you not to laugh at how she smiled when you danced alone, but the second Taeyong touched you she glared at him. You’d definitely tease her with videos fans would take of her watching the performance.

The special stage was a success and both you and Taeyong enjoyed it. You weren’t able to see Hyejoo until after the awards show when you were back at your hotel.

Your group members had gone to see their other friends on different floors, while you stayed back in your room. Finally you’d been able to take a hot shower and remove your makeup, sitting around in your pajamas doing nothing.

A knock at the front door is what tore your eyes away from Mulan that played on the tv in front of you.

“Hmmm?” You hummed as you answered the door, expecting it to be Sieun or one of your other members.

“Can I come in?” Hyejoo mumbled softly.

You pulled her inside and went straight to your bed, wanting to just relax again.

“You did well today, I told you there was nothing to worry about.” Hyejoo told you whilst pulling your arm around her shoulder.

You asked “do you liked my special stage...?”

She nodded “of course. It was really good, I liked that you didn’t tell me, it was a good surprise...” Her voice trailed off towards the end.

You furrowed your eyebrows at her “now you’re the one not telling me something.”

She played with your fingers, refusing to move her eyes from the tv in front of you two. Without warning you clicked off the tv and waited for her to say what was on her mind.

You sat up against the headboard and pulled her closer so she was straddling your lap. Your hands found her waist easily, trailing your hands along her skin softly.

She was still not looking at you, her eyes staying on the blankets on the bed around you.

Gently, you asked “Joojoo...?”

It was the use of the familiar nickname that caught her attention. Her fingers toyed with a seam on your shirt and asked “do you still lo-like me?”

Your heart broke at the tone of her voice and this is when you remembered: even though Hyejoo was quite confident, she still had small insecurities that filled her mind. Despite her outwards appearance, she’s a huge softie. Simply a baby that needs love and reassurance.

“Why would you say that?” You tilted your head so your eyes found hers, but she quickly looked away.

You lifted her head with your thumb, “baby? Do you wanna talk about whatever it is that’s bothering you?”

She rolled off of you and said “it’s just- I don’t know I saw you with him and it just made me think. It’s stupid, i’m sorry...”

You knew that it was hard for her to even have these kind of talks with you, so you didn’t bother having her look you in the eye. It would only make her want to avoid the conversation even more.

“Baby don’t apologize. If something bothers you no matter how small, it’s important to me. Taeyong and I were strictly working. I do not have any feeling for him at all. I don’t want anyone but you. I just want you.” You spoke making sure that she knew you meant every word you said.

She peered up at you, your hand in hers as she played with your fingers “really?”

You told her “of course.”

Pulling her into your side you kissed the top of her head. She settled in your arms, her head resting on your chest.

Nudging her with your shoulder, you said “I love you Joo...so much.”

You could feel her smile against your chest, hiding her blushing face.

She responded “I- um...I mean...uh”

You cut her off, carding your hand through her hair, “It’s okay, you don’t have to say it baby. I know.”

Instantly you felt her body relax against yours as she curled up closer to you. You smiled softly when she pushed her face further into your neck, as you wrapped your arms around her tighter.

Even if she couldn’t tell you herself exactly how she felt, you knew what she wanted to say. All you needed was for her to know how you felt.

The two girls beamed a smile when they saw each other, the younger one running to her sister and giving her a tight hug to convey just how much she’s missed her, making the latter giggle.

“You did such a good job in the comeback, I’m proud of you!” Chaeyeon praised when she pulled away, a proud smile on her face as Chaeryeong lightly pushed her arm. “Of course, you’ll say something like that. I’m your sister.” She denied and Chaeyeon shook her head. “No, you really did well! Even my members agree with me!”

Before the younger girl could protest, another voice cut in. “Your sister is right. You did amazing for this comeback.” When they turned their heads, both sisters smiled when they saw you grinning at them and waving your hand. “I hope I’m not ruining a sister's bonding moment.” You joked before Chaeyeon playfully punched your shoulder.

“It’s fine. How long have you been here, though?” She asks and you shrug your shoulders while following them into the building. “Not too long ago. I just finished practice with Yves unnie.” Hearing the name made them both nod in understanding before Chaeryeong cocked her head. “Why didn’t you ask her to help you for this, by the way?”

You smile at the younger Lee and wink, making her cheeks heat up as she looked down. “Well, it’s a surprise. I had to ask my managers permission for this, you know?” You inform them when Chaeryeong was leading you all to her usual practice room.

You were thankful that JYP even allowed you to use the room. But when Chaeryeong explained to him that you were a friend and that her sister would also be there, he seemed to agree right away.

“Okay, so, what song do you have planned to do?” Chaeyeon asked you when you all entered, putting your things on the chairs and then pulling your phone out so you could check your notes. “It isn’t just one song. I’ll be doing a mix of different groups.” You explain before showing them the songs listed, a total of six songs.

The Lee sisters looked at you in surprise. “How are you even going to transition through all of that?” Chaeyeon asked you and you grin while pulling your laptop out of your bag and then turning it on. Once it was all set up, you opened one of the files you’ve been working on and showed them the edited songs.

“I’m always helping my members with their vlogs! Of course, I know how to edit.” You laughed when they listened to the music in awe. “You’re prepared, at least.” Chaeryeong laughed when she sat by you and you nodded proudly. “Of course!”

Chaeyeon listens to the songs in succession, recalling the choreography for each song and then nodding her head with a smile. “Well, when do we start?” She grinned at you, one you easily return. “As soon as you’re ready to teach me.” You reply.

Both sisters are quick into position, taking three songs each and you laugh when they fight over who gets to help you with Monsta X’s Alligator. It doesn’t take long before Chaeyeon decides to teach you first, going through the choreography like it was programmed into her body as she moved to the beat of Blackpink’s intro.

Chaeryeong watched with a smile, bobbing her head to the beat and dancing as well. She would giggle whenever you looked confused as her sister tried instructing you with each step. You were a good dancer, but you just didn’t have the confidence to always do it yourself despite them and your members telling you.

While her sister was teaching you, however, she knows that she’s being much more touchy than usual. It wasn’t a secret to either of them that they liked you, that was why they tried to spend as much time with you as they could. After they had confided in each other and found out that they liked the same person, they had agreed that whoever it was you end up picking, they wouldn’t mind it.

After all, they would always be sisters.

Chaeryeong was shy when it came to you, but when you were both dancing around or you just took the lead in talking, she finds herself completely comfortable around you that she forgets about the initial shyness that filled her. Her sister teases her about it, but she’s always quick to retort.

For Chaeyeon, though, she’s talked to Sooyoung a few times when they would hang out and it wasn’t really a surprise that your member found out about her little crush on you with the amount of times she’s asked about you. She's complimented you way more than any of the other girls and her friend ended up teasing her, endlessly.

"This next song is kinda hard." Chaeyeon said when she sat down, brows furrowed while you giggled from next to Chaeryeong since she was going through the steps of Simon Says.

The songs you picked out started off easy and gradually grew harder with each song. So, when you neared the end, Scream began to play, making the older Lee grab her phone and check out the choreography just so she could teach it to you. It was one of the more difficult choreographies she’s seen, she even was happy to learn it with you. While you and Chaeryeong were either practicing or just laying on the floor and laughing, she was at the side and practicing.

These two were really great dancers and it was no question as to why you picked them to help you out. However, you didn't know that both sisters were actually harboring feelings for you, even when their touches lingered longer than necessary or when they showered you with praise and compliments.

Whenever you returned the gesture, they would blush so much and do their best to hide it.

"Are you hungry?" The younger Lee asked softly whilst you panted and rested your hands on your knees. "I'm good. It's okay." You tell her while waving a hand but Chaeyeon is already frowning at you, making her sister giggle because she knows she’s turning into a mama bear again.

“Yah! Y/n L/n, you haven’t eaten since we started. What do you mean you aren’t going to eat?” She scolded while you blinked in surprise, Chaeryeong laughing beside you when you had caught your breath and stood up properly.

You've managed to get half of the choreography and transitions between songs, so it was understandable why the eldest was upset with you. She was worried, rightfully so, and her sister would be joining her when she patted your back. "We've been at this for a few hours. I think some food is going to help keep your energy up, don't you?"

A pout formed on your lips, making Chaeyeon soften a bit as she let a sigh pass her lips. "Fine. But where are we going?" Chaeryeong was back on her phone at your question and waving it at you. "Yeji unnie and Ryujin are coming with food. She said they were curious with what we were up to."

Hearing that made you smile and nod your head. "Okay, then. Let's just wait for them, for now."

After agreeing, the three of you just either sat on the cool floor, or laid down in your case. "How are things going for you, girls? I saw the pictures online and you were all so cute." Chaeyeon addressed you, referring to the concept photos and Loona Island, making you perk up almost immediately. "It was fun! I was so amazed that they managed to get that much photos and videos of us, plus the merchandise. Orbits’ reactions are so cute, too." You giggled at the memory of the vlive and fan meet, online.

"I saw that, too. You looked amazing in the pictures, but nothing beats the real deal." Chaeryeong said teasingly, making you laugh in a bashful manner while pushing at her leg. "Flatter me all you want, we know you look much better."

"I mean, Chaeryeong has a point." Chaeyeon poked you, making you flinch and block her hand. "Yah! Don't do that!" You whined as you saw the mischievous glint in her eyes. "I swear, unnie, don't you dare." You threatened weakly, but the older girl wasn't fazed at all when she poked you again.

“Unnie!” You yelled when Chaeyeon started to tickle you, smirking as you pleaded for her to stop and Chaeryeong shook her head at the two of you, laughing until she saw the door open and in came her members, carrying a few plastic bags. She waved them over as they watched her sister relentlessly tickle you.

The only time Chaeyeon decided to end your misery was when you tapped her arm, screaming “uncle”. 

“Nice to see you’re getting along.” Yeji teased as she sat down while you tried to catch your breath. “Getting along? She was killing me!” You protest before Chaeyeon is tapping your leg. “You’re such a baby.”

“Tell me about it.” Ryujin chuckled when she started handing out the boxes. “She whines about the smallest things, I swear.” She said offhandedly and you shot her a glare. “I do not. You’re just exaggerating.”

The back and forth between the two of you goes and the three girls looked confused as they looked from you to Ryujin, and back.

Yeji’s brows pinched together before she’s looking at her member. “You two hang out?” She asked and Ryujin blinked a few times before looking at you, noting the surprised look on your face as well. “Well, yeah? I mean…” She stumbled over her words while trying to think of an excuse and you just bury your face into your hands because this was not how you expected this day to turn out.

When you looked at the other girl, she was already looking at you and you knew that there was no getting out of this with how you had reacted. With a nod to her, Ryujin exhaled deeply while she rubbed her neck. “We’ve been seeing each other for a while now.”

Yeji looked so surprised when she looked at you for confirmation, but the shy smile on your face was enough of an answer. “Since when?” She squealed in delight and you’re being pulled to sit between her and your girlfriend, questions fired after another.

Meanwhile, the two sisters were looking in absolute shock as you sat comfortable next to Ryujin, watching as the girl easily took your hand and answered some of the questions her leader was asking.

They then looked at each other before breaking into smiles and giggles.

In their focus of having a crush and trying to win you over, it seems like they didn't take into account that you might not even like either of them or that you were already spoken for.

It made them feel a little silly with the silent battle they had going on, but seeing you seem so happy with someone else, they didn’t seem to mind. Plus, they were you friends, so either way, it was still a win for them.

You guys just sat in the tub for like 3 hours talking about what you should do during quarantine

Minho wakes up to the sun streaming in through the thinly veiled curtains over his window. Thankfully he woke up to a minimal headache in spite of having gone out to the bar and an impromptu concert the night before. Rolling over in his small twin sized bed he reached for his phone to check the time and any potentially important notifications. 

9:26 am 

[ 2 new messages from Rich Boy Han Jisung ]

Minho finds himself smiling at the new messages from the boy that had stumbled upon him last night.

Careful Han, your cockiness is showing

Jisungs’s cocky demeanor does nothing but make him more endearing to the older, but something gave Minho the impression that the boy already knew this. Not expecting a reply from the other this early in the morning, Minho stretched out of bed and made his way out of his small bedroom and quietly to the shared bathroom. Not a small feat in the old apartment shared by him and his roommates. Creaky floorboards, squeaky doors, and over all close proximity to each other makes being quietly courteous in the morning a frequent challenge for the boys. 

The living room at the end of the small hallway was turned into a shared bedroom for Minho's two roommates. Felix’s mattress had gotten a bed frame from some trading website a few months back when he moved in. The makeshift wall of hung shower curtains and a fold out screen gave the boys the illusion of privacy between their respective sides of the room. Even though more times than not, Minho has come home to find the lanky brunette curled up in Felix's bed instead of on his designated couch. 

Climbing over the piles of the boys’ clothes, Minho makes it to the bathroom without disturbing the other two. The two were still passed out from working their night shifts, draped over each other on the freckled boy’s bed. Neither showed signs of awakening any time in the morning hours. Minho showered quickly and changed in order to make his way out of the apartment and on his way to the studio to practice his Saturday away

Minho would have thought that the both of them would have remained in their university dorms for the summer, if they weren’t able to find apartments on their own. But, at some point after he had graduated, he had gained himself plus two of his underclassmen as roommates. He really couldn't complain though, it all made sense as all three of them were a part of the same dance studio, barely a block away, and all had reasons to be saving money. Paying a fraction of rent really helped with all that had to be saved in order to pay for school, studio fees, living, breathing, and most importantly audition fees. 

As the summer had set in, so had the wave of audition opportunities for companies and crews. Felix had mentioned needing to prepare a video audition last week for a few entertainment companies in the area. Hyunjin was busy trying to save up his money to pay for the upcoming semesters at school to graduate like Minho had. 

Entering the practice room and being welcomed by the distinctive scent of a dance studio was enough to bring Minho back to reality. Since graduating, he had been stuck in his thoughts about what to do with his future a lot. His childhood dreams of getting into the prestigious Yellow Wood Dance Academy seemed to slip farther away from him with every passing year. His audition tapes each year during university were almost always sent back, along with a ‘We are sorry to inform you…’

 It’s not like Minho couldn't keep applying, but with every year the rejection stung a little bit more, and he wasn't sure if he would be able to take another blow. No matter how confident Minho acted about his looks, when it came to dancing his ego was glass fragile. His passion for dance sometimes felt like the only thing that kept him standing, but it had been a while since he had felt rewarded for his dedication. Even when his practically broken dream haunted him a little too much, focusing back to his craft really gave him a better grasp on reality. Making his way to the front of the room to plug in his phone to pick music, a new notification popped up.

Minho smiled in spite of himself. Even over text the sparkly eyed boy was able to pull out and dust off his genuine smile. It had definitely been a while since Minho had found himself freely smiling, but here comes Han Jisung crash landing into his life, running amuck. After spending a moment debating whether or not just to tell the younger of his activities anyway, he came to the conclusion that mentioning dance would only result in more questions, and Minho really wasn't feeling like spilling his passions and dreams with the other already.

Haha i am only even more motivated now >:D

Dont strain yourself too much with that, 

im just enjoying my saturday before my shift later.

Queuing up some music Minho migrated to the middle of the room to casually freestyle and warm up for the day. Allowing the music to flood his ears, movements to take over his limbs, and only his feet to remind him of where he was, Minho’s mind went blank as he began to relax and give up control of his body to the steady beats of the song.

By the time Minho wrapped up his practice and was  heading home the sun was already starting to settle on the lower half of the sky. Surprisingly the day had passed him by quickly. Spending the whole day grinding out a routine he had been recently working to perfect was not usually an overall fun time, but Minho found that he was able to keep his practice productive and enjoyable. 

His smile throughout the day certainly had nothing to do with his breaks to text to Jisung. The casual banter between them felt natural, and the light conversation made him feel lighter on his feet as he moved across the floor. Even with the flirty nature of their introduction, their conversation never steered far from how anyone would expect two close friends to interact. Minho found himself smiling more throughout the day as he checked Jisung’s messages throughout the morning and afternoon. 

12:25 pm

Also for the record my capacity to flirt is honestly quite unimpressive

 By talking to Jisung, he had somehow managed to satisfy all of Minho’s previous curiosities while sparking new ones. Even with Minho generally avoiding giving away his own personal interests and dreams, Jisung didn't hold those same reservations and filled their conversation with “fun facts” and lively stories. Jisung’s lively play by play of the bickering taking place between his group mates, now officially introduced as Chan and Changbin, had Minho giggling on the floor of the practice room. The way Jisung described everything brought it to life in ways that he hadn’t expected from a casual text conversation. The boy was definitely a great storyteller even just over type, and Minho found himself wondering if he would get to hear his endless stories in person.

Minho returned to the small apartment to find Felix attempting to cook some ramen in the microscopic kitchen and Hyunjin sprawled across the couch watching some variety show. Felix was probably fueling up in order to spend the night gaming the weekend away before his work overtook his weekdays again. Hyunjin barely looked to be conscious but still managed to wave a greeting to Minho as he walked into the room. 

“How’d practice go?” 

“Pretty well. Finally was able to clean up that middle section I’ve been messing up.” Minho hurried into the other room to shower once again before heading to the restaurant for his evening shift. 

“Oh glad to hear it.” Felix’s voice filtered in from his place by the stove that was shoved in a corner of the room, along with a fridge and a sink that barely classified it as a kitchen unit. None of the three were complaining, the stove heated up their ramen water and the fridge kept their milk cold, what more could they ask for?

“WAIT, did you talk to that guy at the bar last night???” Hyunjin’s loud voice carried from the couch through their thin walls allowing Minho to clearly hear even if his bedroom door was closed. 

“Which one, Jinnie?? You gotta be more clear than that.” Minho had actually stacked up a few numbers from his night and received atleast ten free drinks from other patrons. Not too bad for the first night out, but of course the only phone number he had bothered messaging happened to be the one he had been texting all day.

“You know the one, the rapper one you left to go see perform.” Minho of course knew, but he wasn't gonna admit it to his roommate so easily, and just hummed in response eliciting a groan from the younger. 

“If you haven’t, you so should. 3racha is all everyone from the bar is talking about. Their concert must have been a big deal or something.” 

“WHAT, 3RACHA? You have got to be fucking kidding me.” Felix, apparently a fan, shuffles in with his ramen in hand to accompany the loud outburst.

“Hyung! One of them gave you their number?? They’re literally like the next big thing in the music scene. Which one of them was it?”  

J.One, Han Jisung, the cute pink hoodie guy

“His name is Jisung I’m pretty sure.” Minho was very sure. “I didnt know they were such a big deal” 

“J.One gave you his number? Damn hyung, you don't even know. They’ve been performing locally for years but their fan base has grown a ton in the last year. There’s rumors that they've signed with a company and are going to come out with something soon.” Felix continued spouting off information on the group to them, as Minho continued his routine of preparing for work at Menu 98.

Minho left him on read as he walked into the restaurant, already bustling with waiters and the changing of shifts for the dinner crowd. ‘Less than 24 hours’ and Minho was already admitting indirectly that he liked the boy he had only just properly met the night before. Stranger things have happened he supposed. Minho continued to surprise himself with this one though. He was not one to seek out friendships or relationships. Anything more than the very occasional one night stand, was practically void from Minho’s social life. Other than the people he had met through dance and his roommates, there were very few others that Minho had chosen to form any kind of relationship with. Even his co-workers were mostly just faces and names he had to remember in order to do his job well. 

Well, expect Seungmin.

“You look awfully happy today, who spiked your coffee this morning?” Seungmin had been a newly inserted character in Minho’s life but they became fast friends after a few too many late night shifts without proper caffeination. 

Seungmin had been a newly hired host at Menu 98, just the average polite university student with enough experience to get hired. When Minho met him they exchanged the basic pleasantries and thought that would be the end of that, until one fated closing shift. A certain, tipsy, entitled, rich, high class asshole of a customer had held up Minho’s section for much of the night. Minho found himself being bossed around and verbally berated throughout the night, trying to serve the women who appeared to never be satisfied with the food or service Minho was offering. By the end of the night, she was their last customer and Minho saw her to the front to pay. His customer service smile, strained and barely holding up, and the woman’s complaints, even while paying, had him wanting to drop all his pleasantries and curse her out as she waltzed out the door.

    “What an absolute fucking pain in the ass of a woman”

Minho hadn’t thought he had said his thoughts aloud, but looked up to catch Seungmin, who had let the words come out in hushed tones as he held a sickening polite smile on his face. After that point the two had bonded over various pain in the ass customers and a mutual love for sarcastic backhanded insults. Minho's relationship with Seungmin was probably the closest thing to a friendship that the older had experienced in a while. 

“No spiked coffee, sadly” 

“Well something’s making your usual sad bitch face smile, so it's gotta be good. Hmm...Meet someone?” Seungmin’s signature puppy eyes were on full display, but not without the signature  mischievous glint they always held. 

“Well wouldn't you like to know Seungmo~ but me and my usually flawlessly beautiful face got to go charm our way into some extra tips.” Minho gave the boy a gentle pat on his head, that was met with a stubborn pout forming at the younger’s lips.

“You definitely met someone, you usually don't have this much self-confidence so early into the evening.” Minho did nothing but giggle at his comment and made his way to the back room to begin his shift.
