I'm trying to decide on books to preorder from BN since it's the Preorder sale, and how can I know if I want to read a book based on these kind of synopses??

That doesn't tell me anything about the plot, only the special edition and a vague mood.

I love Sara Wolf but like...what the hell is that description and why can I not find a real synopsis anywhere????

I somewhat recently lost a group of friends, nearly all of which I had knitted items for.

Half the time I think about the whole situation I am sad, and the other half I am furious.

And weirdly one of the only things I think about when I am angry is how I want all of them to send me back the things I made, or at the very least send me a photo of them destroying it so I know they are no longer benefiting from my work

staying off off all social media rn bc seeing all of these rwby and toh edits are making me so emotional and unwell and i can’t deal with this rn. especially the rwby part. idk about everyone else but when i say i can’t rewatch this episode or think about it (specifically everything with ruby ofc) i MEAN it, i cannot look at anything related to it bc i will lose it because i genuinely feel like i’ll breakdown. it’s not even that i have suicidal worries or anything like that bc i don’t, i don’t know what it is about this episode but it hit me so hard and i tried rewatching it and i couldn’t bc i just literally could not go through with it. the only scene i’ve been able to rewatch is the one with WBY and jaune in the woods

Am i the only one who has a very clear picture of what the house or apartment looks like in every fan fiction i read? Because for me, no matter how the writer describes the house or apartment they live in, i picture it my way. I have about 5 different house layouts in my head that i alternate between different fics i read. It just depends on what the vibe of the story is. Though i do try and expand my imagination every once in a while and picture a new home the main characters live in.

I've noticed a pattern once again...

I'm a sucker for characters that they themself feel that they're missing something within themself

Examples... Hunter (The Owl House), Mafuyu Sato (Given), Izumi Miyamura (HoriMiya), Pearl (Steven Universe), Howl Jenkins Pendragon (Howl's Moving Castle), & Chat Noir/Adrien Agreste (Miraculous) to name a few.

and by "a sucker for" I mean I see myself within them and revisit the media they're from on a regular basis as if I'm trying to figure out what the missing something deep down inside myself is.

This might be mostly headcanon bc of the amount of hcs I've shoved into ahit characters, I hope it isnt, but I keep thinking back to the first and second pages of Mu’s storybook where she was laughing with that old guy, and welcoming the Mafia to the island without even knowing them with a big smile. I’d like to think Mu is a lot softer then she makes herself out to be. I agree she is a stubborn rebellious child of chaos, but ignoring the whole justice stuff and time piece influence, she almost instantly tries to befriend Hat Kid without knowing her, like the Mafia at first, and isn’t even bothered by the fact Hat Kid didn’t even speak to her when she asked for her name, even straight up complimenting her.

This also comes into play when after the Mafia Boss battle, and she finds out the power of the time pieces, she wants to find justice with the one person on her side, and possibly the only person who's been genuinely friendly to her since the mafia invasion, putting her hope right at Hat Kid's feet. It's no wonder she was so crushed when Hat Kid rejected her.

This is the more headcanon part, but I feel Mu would’ve been that energetic kid who got along really well with younger kids and was pretty friendly and social, despite (possibly) getting teased for her mustache, but she would stand up to that for sure. I just think her more soft-friendly nature was washed out bc of the Mafia invasion, and she obviously became quite obsessed with her justice ideals because of it.
