thinking of damon and jeremy’s odd little dynamic.

i imagine it to be what the salvatores would’ve had if katherine hadn’t showed up when damon went home on leave after stefan’s letter about valerie. JNSI excluded.

“My parents were too busy with Elena.” “So?” Damon says. “Both my parents heavily preferred Stefan, and I still turned out fine.” Jeremy just looks at him.

Jeremy being really messy at the Boarding House and Damon gets annoyed and starts yelling at him to clean up and Jeremy just rolls his eyes and gives him a sassy 'yes mother' and Damon’s just like 'yes I am your mother now clean your fucking room.'

(s5) Damon flopped onto the couch beside Jeremy, looking at the kid with a resigned sort of curiosity. “Ok, spill.” “Huh?” Jeremy startled, flicking a glance towards the open archway leading to the front hall, a move that did not slip Damon’s notice. “Relax. Elena’s gone off to wherever with Blondie. So take a breath and just spit it out. What’s got you acting so weird?” “I’m not acting weird,” Jeremy immediately denied. The vampire scoffed. “Nice try, but somehow, you’re an even worse liar than Stefan.” Jeremy crossed his arms with a huff. “I’m not acting weird, okay? Just drop it!” Damon brought a leg up from where he was sprawled, and jabbed Jeremy in the thigh with his foot. Repeatedly. “You’re sad.” Damon guessed. “Confused… and conflicted, more than slightly intimidated by my awesomeness, and there’s a teensy bit of shame hiding in that guilty little furrowed brow of yours. Oh my god.” He sat up straight, gasping in mock realisation. “Is this a sexuality crisis? Do I need to give you the gay sex talk? Because honestly, that would explain so—“ “What? No! It’s not… That’s- I’m…” Damon raised an eyebrow, clearly indicating for the boy to continue. “I’m not going through a sexuality crisis, or whatever. I’m fine, okay?” Jeremy sighed, silently willing for Damon to leave him alone. Bonnie wasn’t any support, either. All she had done was laugh at him from her spot on Damon’s oh-so sacred reading chair. “Right….” Damon drawled sceptically.

“I don’t know if this is just another one of those ‘coming back from the dead’ things or not, but you definitely weren’t this level of weird the last time Bonica Magica resurrected your punk ass. Are you seeing more ghosts or something? Oh god, is it Kol— is Kol your own personal poltergeist? Damn, that would suck. Tell him to go fuck off to Louisiana, would you? He can go rattle his chains at Marcel or what—“ “I am not being haunted by Kol, Damon.”

(s2) "Remember how I told you I read Elena's diary, because I wanted to find out what her secret was?" Jeremy asks, startling Damon out of his happy lamentation. "Yeah. So?" "Well, I sorta still do it sometimes." Damon widens his eyes in mock horror. "You bad, bad boy," he chides, laughing a little as he takes a swallow of whiskey. “I’ve read all one-hundred-and-seventy-six of Stefan’s. Multiple times. Sometimes I leave comments in the margins. Did you come here to compare notes on invading a sibling’s privacy, or…?”

“…Did you just kiss my forehead?” Jeremy blinked. What the hell. Damon Salvatore, big bad vampire, just kissed Jeremy, on the forehead, showing affection for someone of his own free will —— completely out of nowhere!Damon scowled. “Don’t make it weird.” It wasn’t— It was an accident, okay? Sometimes, the kid reminded him a little too much of himself as a human. Other times, all he saw was Stefan. It would be enough to mess with anyone’s brain. He was acting on instinct!

They then headed back to the boarding house to where Damon and Katherie are.

When you guys got inside the house, the first thing everyone hears is Katherine and Damon fighting about a functional way to find you.

"Guys shut up your going to wake y/n up!" Caroline said, getting the twos attention.

Damon was the first to speak up, "Where did you find her?"

"She found Jeremy in school and went over to him" Elena explained.

From all the talking you started to squirm, waking up. You lifted your head up and looked around, when you turned your arm rubbed harshly against Stefan's jacket emitting a whimper from you. It scraped right against the first place where Klaus touched you with vervain.

Speaking of Klaus when he woke up, as soon as he got dressed he went downstairs only to see that you weren't there anymore and escaped during the night. He started throwing furniture around, angry. Eventually he went down to the basement and un-daggered Elijah and Rebekah since there's no point having them daggered anymore cause your gone.

"What happened to you?" Damon asked and came up to you, inspecting all the burns but being really gentle about it.

"Mean 'erson hurt me" you mumbled back.

You then noticed Katherine standing behind Damon and your eyes lit up. "Kafrine" you reached out grabby hands for her.

She came over and gently took you into her arms from Stefan's. Damon looked offended, it was really hard for everyone not to start laughing at him. "I am offended she chose Kitty Kat right there over me. Her own brother" Damon said, playfully glaring at you.

You adorably smiled at him then started to play with Katherine's curls. "You are lucky your cute" Damon said and went to pour himself a drink.

He turned to all the girls; Bonnie, Elena, Caroline. "Don't even think about it you three and you two don't even start" he pointed to Jeremy and Tyler who were about to say something.

"Hung'y" you whispered into Katherine's ear while Damon was telling off everyone.

"Okay y/n/n do you want a blood bag or my blood?" Katherine whispered back, making you smile.

"You, p'ease" you answered.

Katherine moved her hair out of the way for you to drink from her neck. You slowly sank your tiny, cute fangs into her and started to drink from her.

"I'm going to kill Klaus" Damon raged, starting to head for the door.

"Don't even think about it" Stefan said before Damon could take another step. He thought about it for a second then started to walk again before Katherine started to talk.

"Damon if you take one more step to that fucking door I will kick your ass so hard you won't be able to sit for a week" Katherine threatened him from where she was now sitting with you on her lap still drinking her blood, slowly.

"Damon c'mon" Stefan said, knowing Katherine will actually follow through with that action.

Damon walked towards the couch and sat down, glaring at everyone in the room who was also now sitting. "So what your telling me is that son of a bitch can kidnap our sister and I can't do anything about it? No revenge?! because trust me he deserves it" Damon exclaimed, furious.

"How about we wait until we know y/n is okay before planning some psychotic revenge plan your probably thinking of right now" Bonnie said, who was sitting next to him.

"Fine Bon Bon, but I'm holding you to that" he said.

You stopped drinking Katherine's blood and by now most of the burn marks are gone except for a couple still on your arms but they'll heal soon enough. You were staring at the drink in Damon's hand that he got just now. It's obviously bourbon but you can't exactly tell the difference of alcohol or not.

Damon noticed where you were looking. "Do you want some?" He asked you.

You slightly nodded and climbed down from Katherine's lap, going over to him. "Damon no, she's four" Elena said but Damon to no avail didn't listen and brought the glass up to your slightly parted lips.

Everyone didn't stop him because they all knew what the outcome of this was most likely to be and it was you spitting it out. Damon poured some into your mouth and sat the glass down onto the coffee table. As soon as you tasted it you spat it all out right onto Damon's lap, making a disgusted face.

"Sowwy Damy, don' wike dat" you apologized and pointed at the substance in the glass he put down.

"Umm, it's okay y/n/n. I'll be back I'm going to go put on pants that aren't stained with alcohol" Damon said and went upstairs to his room.

You turned to where Bonnie's sitting and started to play around with her fingers. After a bit she lifted you onto her lap so you didn't have to keep reaching up to her hands.

When Damon came back down Stefan was already checking your arms and face where there are still a bit of traces from where Klaus hurt you. You whimpered when he touched a certain place where you were burned with vervain on your upper arm close to your shoulder. But other than that everything looked fine and should heal soon.

"Okay everything looks good but watch out for this burn mark just in case. I put a plaster on it but still be careful about it" Stefan said standing up again.

"So she's alright nothing serious right?" Damon asked sort of getting eager to everyone's dismay, knowing of what's going to come from him.

"Yeah......why?" Stefan asked his brother in return.

Damon didn't answer and just turned over to where Tyler and Jeremy were arm wrestling at the arm of the couch they were at.

"Hey you two idiots over there" he said getting both of their attention.

"Yeah?" They both asked at the same time.

"How would you guys like to go and hunt a certain hybrid with me?" Damon smirked at them.

"Sure why not?" Tyler said and Jeremy responded with; "awesome, I'm in."

"No to both of you" Alaric said walking in the room and making the two boys sit down again.

"Wait school isn't over yet" Caroline pointed out.

"I excused myself saying it was a family emergency. The whole reason I left though was because of Damon and his teenage girl hormones when this stuff happens" Alaric said, making all of them laugh at your oldest brother.

"Oh come on he DESERVES it" Damon exclaimed.

"Yes he does but let's wait a bit first" He told his best friend and drinking buddy.

Damon just rolled his eyes and sat back down next to Bonnie again. "Okay you guys might want to stop speaking about k-i-l-l-i-n-g people in front of her" Bonnie informed, nodding down to where you were now leaning back against her dozing off.

"Seriously? You think she doesn't know how to spell" Tyler pointed out at how Bonnie spelled out the word 'killing'.

"Okay then. y/n what was the word I spelt out the last time I talked" Bonnie asked, looking down at where you were looking up at her.

"I don' know. Candy?!" You said expectantly but Bonnie shook her head and you leaned back, saddened now.

Eventually though you did fall asleep ending with the top half of your thumb in your mouth. Bonnie tried to pull your thumb out but stopped after you started to wake up again.

“So what exactly did Klaus do to her?” Alaric asked after Bonnie came back downstairs from laying you down in your bed.

Klaus Mikaelson!Platnoic X Male!Reader Damon Salvatore!Father X Son!Reader

Request: Hello can I have a part 4 of I'll try where the sons mother comes back as a ghost to haunt Damon telling him to nor give up on their son and to ditch Elena. The son sees Kol and Esther makes the son have witch powers as well as a vampire to make Klaus join her side but the son uses it to protect Klaus and Hayley and Hope. One day the son ends up getting sick with something Bonnie made a curse as revenge for the son killing Jeremy ( he is back again ) and him saving Katherine. He is on a high fever and Hayley is wiping his hair and Kol and Freya and Davina are trying everything to find a way to stop this and the son says " Dad can you bury me next to my mom." He calls Klaus dad then he says " Tell Damon Salvatore and Stefan Salvatore there past life is gone because they only care and a DoppleSlut and tell Kitty Kat thank you for a chance. He closes his eyes for an hour than he shoots up because he feels lot better and everyone hugs him. What he doesn't know is that Klaus loves him so much like a brother and son he called Damon Salvatore and begged him to make Bonnie stop the curse and he also swore no retaliation from his family unless the son died So Damon had Jeremy make Bonnie stop. The son became the unofficial Mikaelson the whole family liked him so he was called Anthony Mikaelson.

*Part 3*

“Damon.” Damon jumped awake, his eyes moving to the body next to him, there she stood the love he lost (Y/M/N). “What are you doing here? You're dead.” He frowned as he moved away from her, he realised that they were sitting in his bedroom at the boarding house. “Don’t give up on him.” She pleaded “he needs you, he needs someone to rely on and you can still help him.” “He killed Jeremy, do you know what that did to Elena?” He asked. “Why do you care? She is not your family, she should not be the one you prioritise.” She glared at him. “He’s your son but he is my son too, he has yet to realise the gift that I have given him but it is only a matter of time.”

Damon jumped out of the dream as he looked around, he wanted to help you but he was sure that you didn’t want the help, not to mention the trouble that you had caused that he now had to fix.

You stood in front of Esther and Kol “do you know what your mother was?” She asked. “My mother?” You asked. “A human.” You frowned. “No quite, you see from what I can figure out your mother may have been a siphoner, but you never unlocked any connection to magic so you wouldn’t have noticed it when you were human.” Esther explained. “So what are you saying?” You asked. “That you might be able to use magic and that is going to help you stand with me and protect the people that you care about, you know he lied about this too.” Kol explained and you looked at him. “It will, how am I supposed to unlock it?” You asked. “I can force the connection open, it’s going to hurt and it’s going to take some time to learn magic but I promise that it will be worth it.” Esther said and you looked between them both waiting for any unease between them but it seemed that they both believed the plan they had presented you with. You knew that they were lying about the overarching reason for doing it but you needed the extra power if you were going to be of any use to Klaus. “Then do it.” You nodded.

You walked into the courtyard, Klaus could sense that there was something different but you had spoken to him about this plan before you had even gone to Esther “I assume you were correct about what they wanted.” He said as he looked at you. “I was.” You nodded. “They said that my mother was a siphoner and that meant that I had dormant magic energy in me, that your mother awakened.” “Really?” He asked. “Mmm, I still have to learn how to use them but it’s worth it in the end I think.” You explained and he nodded. You smiled as you attempted to step forward, stopped in your tracks, dizziness took over your whole body. “(Y/N) are you okay?” Klaus asked as he reached his hand out to touch steady you, it was then that he felt how hot you were “what’s going on? Elijah helped him back to his room, I think I need to talk to our mother.”

Klaus didn’t take long to get to Esther “What did you do to him?” He asked. “Your prized possession?” Esther asked. “He chose to fight with me.” She smirked. “And now he’s sick, is this you're doing!?” You asked. “What?” She asked “I wanted him to kill you, he serves no purpose if he can not do that, why would I make him sick.” “Then why is he sick?” Klaus asked. “Let me see him.” Esther ordered, Klaus grit his teeth, he knew that he had no option, he didn’t know how to fix it, he didn’t even know who had cursed you so instead he nodded. “Save him.” Klaus ordered. “I doubt that I can save him but I might be able to track the curse back, spell like that, leave a trail, maybe I can tell you who is responsible, they are the only ones that can lift the curse.” Esther explained. “Hurry up.” Klaus ordered.

It only took Esther 30 minutes to find out that the course had come from Mystic Falls and by extension the only witch there Bonnie Bennett. Kol, Freya and Davina had started looking for a cure incase Bonnie refused to remove it but they had no luck yet. Hayley had taken to wiping your brow of sweat and keeping you comfortable, she had no magical knowledge or power so this was the best that she could do. Klaus came in to see you but everyone could tell that you were struggling now, it had only been a couple of days but the curse had taken hold quickly. “Dad…” You called out and for a second Klaus was angry that it was until you grabbed his wrist calling his attention back to you £can you bury me with mum?” You asked. “And tell Damon Salvatore and… Stefan Salvatore that the life that they knew was over, they left it behind when they chose that Doppelganger over family…” You breathed out “tell Kitty Kat thank you.” Klaus watched you settle again before he left the room ordering the others to watch you before he stepped out to make a call. “What?” The person on the other end of the call asked. “Damon this is the only time that you will get this deal, you tell you witch to lift the curse on (Y/N), if it’s lifted now there will be no retaliation and we’ll leave you be but if he dies, I will come back to avenge him no matter what I have to go through to do so.” Klaus ordered. “Jeremy talk to Bonnie about the curse, get it lifted.” He heard Damon order. “You better hope that the hunter can come through.” Klaus said.

An hour later you were walking again, Klaus seemed to relax after that, everyone did. Hayley was smiling again , Freya checked you over to make sure that you were okay before leaving you to sit in the courtyard with Klaus. “Thank you all for staying with me.” You finally said. “Of course you are a part of this family.” Klaus smiled. “(Y/N) Mikaelson.” “I like that.” You said “Thank you.”

Damon has been cast in an upcoming Blumhouse/Amazon Prime Horror Action series and as a series regular!!! I'm fucking screaming! His character is “the owner of a successful country music club" named Lucky. 😭 I'm so excited for this! Full Article from BloodyDisgusting:

Four new cast members join Kevin Bacon and Jennifer Nettles on Blumhouse TV’s “The Bondsman,” an action horror series for Amazon’s Prime Video. That includes actor Damon Herriman (Run Rabbit Run, The Nightingale, “Mindhunter”). Variety reports that Herriman, Beth Grant (No Country For Old Men, Donnie Darko), Maxwell Jenkins (“Arcadian,” “Lost In Space”) and Jolene Purdy (“The White Lotus,” “Orange Is The New Black”) have all joined the show in series regular roles. The action horror series “centers on Hub Halloran (Kevin Bacon), a backwoods bounty hunter who comes back from the dead with an unexpected second chance at life, love, and a nearly-forgotten musical career — only to find that his old job now has a demonic new twist.” “The Bondsman” was created by Grainger David (The Chair), who will also executive produce. Erik Oleson will serve as showrunner and executive producer via CrimeThink. Jennifer Nettles will play Hub Halloran’s ex-wife, Maryanne. Beth Grant will play Kitty, the mother of Hub Halloran. Let's talk about Vicki Donovan

I am currently rewatching first season of TVD and I noticed thing that I never noticed before. A lot of people in the fandom hate Vicki Donovan, and this shocks me after understanding this character.

So, she was raised without her father and the fact that she never knew who he was is really painful for her (she mentioned it to Damon). Also, in the town so small the lack of father may produce rumours about both their mother and Donovan siblings, tho I think Vicki is more affected by this. I mean, if her mother has reputation of careless, "available" then Vicki would inherit this reputation (and she did, if you listen closely to what others say about her) because "like mother like daughter".

Her mother was ignorant and alcoholic who had little care about her children, clearly, she wouldn't abandon them if she did care. Vicki probably started working as soon as she was able to (I don't remember what age is allowed for part-time job in US, 14?) because how else can she and Matt survive? I don't say it is not possible for kids with parents to start working at young age due to financial issues, but Vicki and Matt had no parents to bring actual money home (or if Kelly cared enough to send the kids some money, I doubt it was sufficient to support both of them), only what they gained themselves.

It leads to discussion of how did Vicki, as an older sister, managed to support both herself and her little brother? Nothing was said about this in canon, but Vicki's involvement with drugs may be connected to her trying to earn money. Maybe she met wrong company, and knowing her financial struggles, somebody offered her money if she would help with dealing?

Returning to her "inherited" reputation, Tyler provided us with a lot of things that are told about Vicki among her peers. "Vicki Donovan says no, that's new". She has reputation of "available", to the extent that in the Pilot Tyler tried to rape her, probably thinking that nobody would believe that it was done by force and what is her, some lower class girl's word, against his, right? He is son of mayor(s), who would dare to punish him for anything. Especially for assault of the girl with bad reputation. Later on season one Tyler tried to ambarass and belittle her numerous times, always reminding what place in society she occupies.

Knowing all of that, Vicki still hangs out with Tyler and seems genuinely excited by the fact he gives her his attention. This tells us that she rarely receives attention from anybody, and thus boys being interested is the only substitution for what she really needs and craves – somebody to care about her.

You may say that she still had Matt who was interested in her wellbeing, but maybe that was the problem. She told that herself, it seems to her that Matt is naturally getting out of this situation – he is good at foodball and has opportunity of some college offering him scholarship, he is nice and handsome, which means that girls still like him and he can "marry someone and have kids", like Vicki placed it.

And Vicki? She is drug-addict, with reputation which makes Mrs. Lockwood wince from mere idea that her son may have something to do with this girl, Vicki is not too good in grades (was that caused by her skipping classes? Was she skipping because of her attempts to earn more or because of drugs? Or maybe first one gradually morphed into the latter?) and doubts in her ability to recieve any scholarship.

In Vicki's eyes, she is hopeless. No future, no one who cares for her, besides her brother who has his own life to live, and little Gilbert boy who wants to play white knight and safe her from her misery, stupid teenage obsession that she may see patronizing (she mentioned that his interest in her is temporal and later he will return to his good, middle-class life, and forget all about it). And his family doesn't want Jeremy involved with Vicki, Elena didn't like her brother fawning over Vicki long before she turned. Notice that nobody tries to prevent anybody from interactions with Matt. Because Matt is polite, Matt is nice, Matt is the "golden boy" who everyone likes. Vicki is none of that.

Additionally, she was tormented by vampire. She survived few attacks that almost lead to her death. At that point Vicki is so lonely and unneeded that her only option is to pour out her soul to Damon, the guy who she barely knows, who tried to eat or simply kill her more than once, and who obviously can't care less about her fate. Damon heard it. And helped in only way he knew – he killed her. Saved her from her "pathetic" life.

Of course, we know that Vicki was not dead completely. No, the life was not quite done with her yet. Vicki has last chance on life she wanted as a vampire. Damon didn't care much for his now sireling, and let her leave (tho he mentioned leaving would be a bad idea, but never tried to actually make her stay and explain her new status as undead), which lead to the line of stressful events. In her transition Vicki suffered physically and mentally, all her supressed depression and loneliness felt on a higher level due to vampire's enhanced emotions. Even then, she tried to not harm the only two people she cared for and who cared for her – Matt and Jeremy.

Despite all the effort, Vicki did in fact finish her transition. She became vampire. And I think that truely, Vicki had a chance. Vampirism would leave her with a lot of perks that might make her life better.

Unfortunately, not everyone would agree. As an addict, Vicki has little self-control because she never tried to have one – she had no hope of escaping this circle before. She probably thought that one day she will die from overdose and quit being a burden for Matt. But now Vicki needs to learn it extremely quickly because two grown up vampires are watching over her and vampire hunters are at loose in the town.

But that was not how story was destined to end. Her actions lead to her being impaled by Stefan. Which seems a bit unfair. I think that there were other options. Yes, she tried to kill Elena dearie, was that the only reason she end up dead? Because Caroline was turned too, and more than that, she actually killed a man but nobody murdered her. They helped her, they taught her, and she became one of the most natural vampires in the whole show. Why was Vicki not granted with this chance? One may argue that she had less self-control than Caroline but who may think that s1 Caroline would be so excellent in vampirism? Giving Vicki some time would have been fair.

In her 18 years Vicki Donovan suffered more than some adults, and what did she received in return? Evil words about her, terrible attitude, abjection from society. Did she deserve Tyler being ashamed of presenting her as his girlfriend? Did she deserve Mrs. Lockwood calling her trash? Did she deserve anything of what she got in her life? She went through all of this, just to end up being dumped like a trash Carol Lockwood described her as, and forgotten? Just another hopeless girl without future died, right? Not a big deal? Naturally, she wanted revenge in afterlife.

So no, I don't understand why her character is showered in hate. Vicki Donovan was complicated person with personality that was not polite or too likeable, but that was not the reason to hate or despise her. I ask for justice for Vicki Donovan.

Multifandom Headcanon: Which Blorbo would Rock the Emo Look

A/N: I just had to make this. Like, give me these men.

-The Kiryu twins (Vampire Knight). I mean, come on! Zero is practically half-emo already and considering Ichiru was shown wearing a shirt with skulls in a bonus chapter and has a haircut suspiciously emo length, these boys would definitely look great embracing their emo. -Adrien Agreste (Miraculous Ladybug) see the Paris special. He looks cute and I prefer his emo design over Marinette's (though Shadybug is the superior look. High buns are cuter then Marinette's usual lower buns if you ask me. It's a shame she didn't keep them!) -Akashi Seijuro from Kuroko's Basketball.I need this boy with eyeliner! -Speaking of KNB, Himuro Tatsuya. Similar to the Kiru twins he's already half-emo. He should just embrace the emo! -Subaru Sakamaki from Diabolik Lovers. Again, falls into the pattern of already being half-emo. I will never forget that one parody on YouTube with Subaru and the, 'I'm an emo kid' song. -Senri Shiki from Vampire Knight. Give him eyeliner and have Rima pick out his clothes, and tell me the boy wouldn't look cute in a half-dead kind of way. -Ren Tao from Shaman King would look pretty good in an emo-punk kind of look. His tongari already feels like a punkish hairstyle, the tattoo and his scars also really fit that rebel look. Add eyeliner and a goth aesthetic. It would be perfect. -Haruka Nanase from Free!, yet another example of a boy that would look cute in that half-dead kind of way. In the FREE! abridged universe, I can only imagine Haruka being one step away from becoming a creepypasta. -Will Herondale from The Infernal Devices back when he still believed he was cursed. He has all the angst in the world necessary and would definitely rock a more Victorian goth aesthetic. -Speaking of someone with a similar coloring and angst from the same universe, Alec Lightwood would look cool but he'd be more of the I don't care how terrible I look or if I am dying in this shirt, kind of emo rather then Will and his dramatic flair. -Azusa Mukami from Diabolik Lovers would also definitely suit the aesthetic, considering him and his tencencies overall. -Luka Couffaine from Miraculous Ladybug is also half-emo already. He should just go for it (TBH I wonder how he looks in the Shadybug& Claw Noir universe). -Murtagh from the Inheritance Cycle. He definitely would look good dressed as a gothic warlord. -Damon Salvatore from the Vampire Diaries gone emo would have been the hotter version of that Green Day singer. -Speaking of The Vampire Diaries, Jeremy Gilbert's depresser stoner days had some serious emo hottie potential. -Sebastian Morgenstern from The Mortal Instruments definitely would have looked great with the emo aesthetic. The tragic villain with white blonde hair seems such an emo thing to me. -So the same goes for his son, Ash. A literal fallen angel? Cue the goth glamor!

Familiar Faces - Calm before the storm Part 3

Summary: Elijah Gilbert has been haunted by dreams of other lives as long as he remembers, but now with the appearance of the Salvatore brother he may finally get some answers.

-----

Meeting and getting to know Damon before the party had not in any way helped but Elijah thinks coming here with him at all was the biggest mistake, walking by his side though the house had given him the strangest case of deja vu.

It was almost a relief when Caroline returned, almost because of some part of him,

The boy that died at nine, was still annoyed at having to share Damon.

Leaving Damon to Caroline however hadn’t helped much as it had left him open to everyone else, unfortunately, who had taken this, as the first founder’s event since his parent’s death, as the perfect time to tell him how much he was growing to look like his father, a very clear lie he knows, or his uncle John.

And even more insulting, if he was going to start to take his father’s place on the Founder’s council, while part of Elijah wanted to, it had not even been five months yet, they could at least wait until half a year had passed.

His attempt to avoid them by standing with Aunt Jenna failed when she shooed him off after warning him not to bother Mr. Fell, apparently her words were correct, the man screamed slime ball, and Bonnie was pointedly ignoring him as she had the last week or more, it seemed she had decided to ignore being a witch.

He wished her luck, he hadn’t been able to without training a little.

So he’d escaped outside.

He could see what was happening even at a distance.

The Lockwoods, one of the founding families most proud of their blood and history, the family that almost viewed the title of Mayor as birthright, while Tyler was better than that, his best friend was Matt despite his father’s attempt to push him and Elijah together.

No doubt they weren’t as accepting of their son bringing a waitress as a date, something Tyler would know.

Which would explain despite having listened to Jeremy’s complaints about Vicki and Tyler over the last two days, something Elijah had admittedly used to avoid telling Elena he was bringing Damon, why he hadn’t seen Vicki at all during the evening.

“Vicki?” he called over the grass, letting the empty air carry his voice, Vicki stopped at her name several steps from the mother and son pair.

“Elijah?” three voices said as they recognised him.

“Want to join me for a dance?” he asked but he kept walking to the group.

“She was just leaving.” Mrs Lockwood said before Vicki could,

“Really!” he said in shock as he stopped close to Vicki, keeping his eyes on Mrs Lockwood as he added “already and after the Lockwoods failed to be proper hosts.”

“Excuse me?“ she asked, leaning back at the less than veiled insult.

“I don’t blame you Mrs. Lockwood.” he reassured her, casting a look at Tyler that he hoped would be read as apologetic, he was going to throw him under for this. “Have you been shown around?” he turned to Vicki offering her an arm now he was close enough. “Come, I'll show you Gilbert's offering to our town.” he told her as she took his arm, “It was one of the last things mom worked on.” he should feel bad at using his mom in this but he’s pretty sure mom would understand.

Mom’s best friend was Vicki’s mom, she wouldn’t have wanted him to stand by as she was looked down on.

“You know if you had wanted to come Jeremy would have brought you?” he reminded her as they got into the house.

“You’d want that?” she asked, looking at him with something he couldn’t name.

“He would have,” he told her and then added for himself “and then he’d be here instead of alone at home.” He took a breath and ignored the fact he could see his aunt staring, the slimeball not far from her.

He’d give Vicki, a good night, chase away the memory of being treated like a shame and hopefully with Vicki on his arm people would stop coming to him, and he’d stop remembering a different Founder’s party and hundred years before..

“So dance first or look at the history of our town?” he asked, smiling, she smiled back.

Damon was a little disappointed he couldn’t have Elijah stand as watch for him, like he had last time but he made do with Caroline as he got the jewel back.

He had enjoyed walking through the house and watching Elijah as he remembered pieces of the last time, his littlest brother had an excellent poker face no doubt years of experience of hiding knowing more than he should.

But Damon knows him a little to well for that.

Later after the dance he had promised Vicki, while looking at the pieces of the town’s history with her, he found himself staring at his name between Damon’s and Stefan’s.

He remembered his excitement as he walked next to Damon as their names were taken, he was a member of the Savatore family, being treated like a grown up.

He was going to have to talk to Zach, he admitted to himself with a sigh, look thought the old Salvatore records, he had already acknowledged EJ was real, that the one before was likely real otherwise he wouldn’t remember hands on him so clearly, why keep denying those before were.

Especially since Damon and Stefan were here, alive after a century, with his the oldest dream-memoires explaining how.

His siblings were monsters, why wouldn’t he also be.

Maybe that was why he was cursed.

They were about to return to the dance floor when he felt it.

Bone deep aches and a growing chill. He swallowed the lump in his throat as he grabbed Vicki’s wrist to stop her, the last time he had felt that he had mom and dad, a wave of grief hit him at the thought.

“Elijah?” Vicki asked, looking concerned.

“Sorry to bother you but can you-” he started.

“Take you home.” she finished, “you're having one of your episodes, aren’t you?”

He nodded, the joys of having someone who has known you your whole life.

“Come on,” she wasted no time pulling him closer to lead them out.

“Sorry to ruin your night.”

“You didn’t.” she told him with a smile, he was reminded of when he was much younger and was jealous of Matt, for having a real older sister.

He’s unable to stop his teeth from chattering when they get to his home, Vicki helping him to the door.

“Vicki? Elijah?” Jeremy’s voice didn’t help his growing migraine, the pitch his voice reached in concern when he said Elijah’s name set his teeth on edge.

“One of his episodes.” Vicki explained as Elijah suddenly found that he was barley supporting himself as Jeremy slipped under his shoulder.

He lost time as he suddenly found himself on his bed, he blinked as the darken shape of Jeremy learned over him to pull his covers up.

“You ok ,Jah?” Jeremy asked, sounding painfully young, Elijah hated that his issues always seemed to affect them.

“Will be.” he managed to croak and he curled away under the covers and prayed he’d manage to sleep.

‘Don’t kill her.’ a voice that sounded like Elijah told him, but the taste couldn’t hurt Damon thought as he lean into Caroline.

He was wrong about that moment later.

'Damnit, Stefan' he thought as his brother explained after he woke up in a cell.

Fifty years, he’d miss his time frame but also he’d miss Elijah’s life.

He wouldn't allow that.

So I was inspired by the Sugar Valentine and Chasing ghosts posts by @stargazer-sims to revisit my own Sims bands because I miss them, so here is the first. Sweet Cacophony, the literal first band I created with The Sims! Their 3 and 4 versions are pictured above! They are from my story Love Drunk which I wrote back in 2013 on Blogger and illustrated with The Sims 3, I did a sequel too called Love Drunk 2.0 which followed the lives of the band and their partners two decades later, along with their children who were all mostly grown up and making questionable life decisions of their own. I eventually rebooted it with The Sims 4 but it was getting pretty dark so I kinda shelved it for a while. I might go back to it but we’ll see, I might even start fresh and try to be more cheery and upbeat lol. Anyway, a bit about the band!

So the rock band Sweet Cacophony was originally called Deadly Nightshade. It comprised of four young men who had been friends since high school; Dexter Maloney (lead vocals/guitar), Ashton Maloney (drums), Andrew Mitchell (backing vocals/guitar/bass) and Jeremy Price (piano/keyboard). Jeremy shockingly quit one day and left them without a keyboard player, Dexter could play so he took it on as well as being the lead singer and guitarist but it was a strain for him as he also wrote their songs. Also it has to be noted that the boys at this point still had day jobs; Ash was a firefighter, Dexy was an artist and Drew was basically a mad scientist who invented things for clients and sold them for a fortune. When Jeremy left, he took their name with him, Dexter was furious as they had gigs booked all over as Deadly Nightshade which Jeremy also stole leaving them in a crappy situation where they would turn up for a gig and were turned away because the “real band” with Jeremy as the front man had already arrived. It was the girl Dexy was madly in love with, Evelyn “Lainie” Robertson, who coined the phrase “sweet cacophony” when describing their practice sessions in their tiny flat and Dexy loved it so much that he made it their new name. Eventually, and by complete accident, the band took on Lainie’s best friend Roxanne Harmon as their new keyboard player and their rise to fame was almost instantaneous! Within months they were a global sensation and toured the world, had number one albums every time they were released and had their name in lights all over.

Music runs in the family as Dexter and Lainie’s youngest son Damon formed a band of his own called Fallen Angels with his cousin (Ashton’s son) James and Roxanne’s son Rory Hayes. Dexter and Lainie’s granddaughter Jazmine, affectionately known by her grandpa Dexy as Jazzy, becomes a solo artist to rival Taylor Swift using the stage name Jazzy in honour of her favourite grandfather, but that’s just a story in my head as I never got there in the real story. Jazzy is the daughter of Keira Maloney (Dexter & Lainie’s eldest child) and Joshua Hayes (Roxanne & Matthew Hayes’ eldest child) who only fell in love when they were twenty and eighteen respectively. Josh had loved Keira all of his life but she teased him for being a little bit overweight as a child, calling him “chubby chops” which upset him. Keira meant it affectionately and never realised until they got together just how much it had hurt Josh, she never called him that again.

So that’s just a little bit about the band, they are very dear to me and I have carried them for ten years, Dexter is probably my favourite OC ever!

Wait is that… GAVIN LEATHERWOOD? No, it can’t be, it’s just ACE SALVATORE, a 35/25 year old DRAGON. HE is the (ADOPTED) SON of DAMON AND ELENA. HE is CHARMING AND PASSIONATE but can also be SECRETIVE AND IMPULSIVE and classifies HIMSELF as HETROSEXUAL. HE is hiding that HE HIDES THAT HE IS A DRAGON, WONDERING IF HIS PARENTS REGRET ADOPTING HIM, but I wonder how long that will stay hidden in Mystic Falls and New Orleans.

He is the child of Damon and Elena. They adopted him 12 years after Elena woke up in 2030 when he was a infant. He was found by someone (to be plotted examples Jeremy or Caroline). He didn’t have a name when he was found and so they named him Alaric Jay Salvatore but Ace just stuck as a kid. Some older family members might call him AJ. They found the infant in a burnt down house that maybe he was a fire starter witch. However when he turned into a dragon, it was clear that he was so much more.

Knowing about Malivore and all that drama, it became clear that Ace wasn't a fire starter witch like they might have thought but was in fact a dragon. Elena and Damon decided to adopt Ace instead of find him another family. As a dragon Ace transformed and caused a few fire related dramas as a kid. They told Ace from a young age what he was. Though he recalls burning half his room down when he was 9 when his flames got out of control and confirmed it for himself. He was also known to have a problem with stealing due to his dragon side. That keeps him emotional reserved from others, even if he always seemed like the life of the party. Football star, dated the head cheerleader, all that stuff.

Few outside the Salvatore family (Damon and Elena could have told other people outside the immediate family) no one knows Ace is a dragon. He keeps that on the low down. Ace grew up with many positive memories of The Grill and when he grew up, he worked there and later as an adult brought it (would like if Damon owned it before him and he went in partners with his father but i will leave this open to the player for damon).

Ace always wonders what life outside Mystic Falls would be like but has never found a reason to want to leave. He has always wanted to met other dragons though

Jeremy waved you off with Asher, you were going on a date, after everything that happened they all figured you needed some time to yourself. Katherine had recently stopped by to tell you that Klaus was expecting a baby in New Orleans, something he had neglected to tell you before leaving, it was only a couple of days later that someone asked you on a date, even with the knowledge that you had twins at home so you were excited to give him a chance, however Asher had been grumpy all day and you almost decided to call it off but Jeremy promised you that they would be fine.

Jay had gone on a trip with Damon and Stefan so it was just Asher and Jeremy, while he had been well behaved he wasn’t himself, they had watched all the movies that he wanted to and eaten, it was now time for bed, he had sent Asher upstairs while he got his blood ready “never thought this was something that I would be doing for my child.” He mumbled as he held up the sippy cup of blood, he shrugged before heading up the stairs. Jeremy walked into Asher's bedroom, he smiled at the decoration, a forest themed room with glow in the dark stars on the ceiling “alright big guy you going to tell me what’s going on?” He asked. “What if mum leaves, you do all the time.” Asher said, Jeremy walked over handing him the cup before picking him up. “She’s not going to leave you kid, I can promise you that, she loves you just like the rest of us, I only leave because I live with Auntie Elena and Ric.” Jeremy explained. “I think Damon would kill me if I lived here.” “Why?” Asher asked. “Never mind about that, come on, it's time for bed.” He said. “I’m not tired.” Asher mumbled. “How are you not tired, I’m exhausted.” Jeremy complained. “That’s because you're old.” He mumbled. “Oh really well then if that is how we’re going to behave then I’ll have to call Damon and tell him what you said and then he’ll keep your present all for himself and Klaus will have to talk to Santa about taking you off the nice list.” Jeremy teased as he tickled his side, he laughed as he climbed back into bed “remember Asher I’m always just a phone call away, you can just ask Mummy to call me and I’ll come see or talk to you I promise.” “Okay thank Dad.” He said as Jeremy turned off the light and headed back downstairs, he sat on the sofa as he thought about what his life and led to, with two 2 year old Tribrid twins and how scary that was, he then realised that he wasn’t even the one that looked after them the most and his thought shifted to you. The girl who took on everything and just kept going you were brave, braver than anyone would give you credit for.

✧.* { ALBERTO ROSENDE & HE/HIM & CIS MALE & 22 } is that GRAY SALVATORE who’s come back from the future ? they’re DAMON AND ELENA’S ADOPTED kid, right ? i’ve heard they can be pretty ARROGANT. how typical for a SIPHONER. i guess they must rely on their SMART side shining through. rumor has it they’re trying to hide THEY HAVE BEEN HAVING PANIC ATTACKS RECENTLY, but that’s probably just noise…

gray zachariah salvatore is the adopted son of elena and damon and the brother of stefanie, rosalie and jd salvatore. he is named after elena’s father and damon’s nephew zach although there was a time where he was close to being named after his uncle jeremy. Gray was found as a newborn baby and assumed to be biologically related to Elena and Damon (its going to come out.)

as a unknown siphoner, he was able to live a relatively normal life but was brought up to know of the supernatural from a young age - especially with his friends and cousins being supernatural. after a while grayson became hunted by a small group of vampires who had heard the cured humans had started a family and wanted to find out if the offspring's blood was key to curing vampirism. he was missing for almost a week as he had some blood drained, before being found by (to be plotted). however as he was really a siphoner they were unable to find what they wanted.

After this, he was sent to the salvatore school to learn about the supernatural in more depth and in order to hopefully find some insight into his abilities as a (assumed} cured human. as well as this it meant he was more protected from attacks than at mystic falls high school. During his school years, he was often in trouble for his inability to stay still and his short temper along with random outbursts in class or at home and also had trouble sleeping - often waking up and ending up drawing or playing in the middle of the night as a child. It was only when his behaviours became similar at home, that he was noticed and eventually after pushing for so long, Gray received a diagnosis of ADHD. He was soon started on behavioural therapy and medication. Eventually a diagnosis of a sleep disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety was given as he started high school.

During his later years at the salvatore boarding school, he began a friendship with an girl. Despite being a few years older than gray they struck up a connection and after they left school it developed further. Several months of dating led to them discovering they were expecting. After coming arouns to the idea, they were excited for the birth of their child. However it was short lived. During a grueling labour they discovered their child had not made it. They took it hard and it created a wedge between them. (They could either have seperated or she could have died after trying to (or possibly did) bring back their child)

being back in the past is a big adjustment for Gray and without his friends and siblings he knows he would be going crazy right now- with his adhd already in high gear and causing panic attacks.
