Nobody knows your inner battles and the struggles you've been through, yet they're all quick to judge the book by it's cover. Sometimes it's important to speak with the person before you make any assumptions about them. Any rumours with blur the perception you have about someone. And if they not want to know the real you, they never will. It takes efford and time to get to know someone. Sometimes it's important to cut those people off since you don't need people who listen to others about you and do not want to get to know you better. They do not have their personal opinion which will be harful to you.

The truth is that only those you let to be close to you will know the real you and sometimes it's okay. It's okay to let your guard down, esp if you know that this person cares about you.

Always be honest with the ones that care about you and be careful with those who did not earn your trust yet.

Remember, you don't need to explain yourself to anyone. If they decided to think you are a certain type of person without even know you, just let them think that. Don't waste your time and energy to explain that to them, because if they really wanted to know you, they would and they would never judge you by one action of yours.

Someone who cares about you will always ask questions on why certain things made you react a certain way and would ask questions to at least discover what things made you the person you are today and what you've been going through your whole life.
