JLU Wally is YJ Wally is so juicy because of so many reasons, the obvious being JLU Wally, at least, power wise is more liken to the comics and imaging yj Wally being uncapped is something that inches a primal urge in my monkey Brain. Two, JLU Wally is a amazing flash and hero, and seeing Wally become and surpass Barry in some ways is like an arc yj was very uninterested in retelling from the comics so again scratches an urge there. And lastly, as a huge fan of the adaptational found family-ness of the original seven in the JLU cartoon like I think Wally would be homesick both ways even if he went home? And maybe he forgets to be homesick along the way as he becomes more and more engrained in his life in earth 12. Like he can’t really up and leave his central city/keystone city for earth 16 when they rely on him and he knows them by name and same with like the seven, like he’s legit part of the glue that’s holds them together and people like John and Shay are practically his best friends/sibling. I love this idea and I could talk about it forever

OH AND WALLY MEETING LINDA AND HARTLEY YES GOD PLEASE

YES!! Even if Wally could go back he wouldn't really /want/ to because by now the JLU universe is his home too! And that makes him feel terrible because he also misses his friends, his family, but if he went back then he'd miss his friends and family from the other universe!

I can imagine him meeting his friends's counterparts in both universes. He finds out that Artemis is a criminal in the JLU, Dick exists but became a cop (yes I hate that) and doesn't even know he exists outside of “he works with my dad”, god knows wtf Roy's (Will?) doing, Kaldur and Conner probably don't exist and M'gann died in Mars

But at the same time, he finds Hartley and Linda in the YJ universe and they're so different. They don't know anything about him outside of “There was a different Kid Flash before”, so he wouldn't stand to stay with them like that

So no matter what universe he's in, he'll still miss home, because both of them are home

The image is from Action Comics #875. Initially, Conner Kent and Linda Danvers were supposed to be the mysterious Nightwing and Flamebird, who showed up in the story arc. That was later changed to them being Chris Kent and Thara Ak-Var.
