Narrator: Majora was a simple cat that did simple cat things. You know, run around and chase anything that looks to be a challenge. Nothing too challenging, after all a cat does need to save its energy for resting.
She didn't enjoy the outdoors too much, oh no, far too much disrespect? Yes, that's it!
Sometimes though she snuck outside at the opposition of her slave just to have a look at the birds and butterflies, which she both enjoyed chasing. She had never caught one, a bird at least, but it wasn't because she couldn't, oh no, there was no cat faster or more agile than she, Majora! The reason she hadn't caught one yet was because she simply didn't want to! It was mercy and weren't those little blue jays fortunate that she was such a kind feline?
She would have stayed outside a little longer if she hadn't heard her slave descending the stairs calling her name. Off she went then, speeding towards her favorite spot...
Trying new foliage brushes because I suck at backgrounds 👍 Also 5 days til tears of the kingdom!! I'm gonna disappear for awhile after it comes out 🦀✨️
Something I felt compelled to make tonight.
Splicing of Stone Tower Temple, and the infamous "He says that he will never die" excerpt from Blood Meridian.
Some Super Paper Mario // Majoras Mask parallels nobody asked for
- The antagonist wants to destroy the world because of the loss of a loved one
- Your sidekick is small, has wings, can fly and are both females
- Has at least (1) creepy thing that happens in the story (my examples would be Mimi’s transformation into a spider in SPM and the statues from the Eulogy of Emptyness in LOZMM)
- You save the world through the power of love, in one form or another
- Are either a sequel or trilogy (and, are in my opinion, are the best entries in those series but they are overshadowed by the earlier entries smh)
I am currently still finding parallels between the two so I will add as I go
Narrator: That spot? The top of the fridge and she had beat her slave there as she usually did. Her slave, named Lola, enjoyed her there as she provided Lola a good opportunity to worship her from below.
"Majoraaaaa..." Lola whined once she found the goddess licking and cleaning herself on top of the fridge. "How many times have I told you-"
"Mrow," Majora replied, saying all that needed to be said and giving her a look that she was content where she was.
"Majora! Your fur gets every where and then I find your cat hair in my food because you sit up there and do your whole grooming routine and-"
"Mrow!" Majora replied again, this time more forcefully. It seemed her slave was not listening to her at all. This was usually the case.
Hey @majoras-skull-kid! I saw you were hoping to get an illustration of Margot before she passed, so I drew her for you. I was inspired by your photo playing scrabble during the recent blackout with Margot loafing in the scrabble box.
Seeing your posts about your last days with her and the poetry you wrote for her genuinely brought me to tears. She couldn’t be in better hands; you two seem truly made for each other, having come into each others’ lives when you both most needed it.
Your connection with Margot reminds me a lot of my mom’s with her dog, which is also battling cancer right now—and I know I will be in similar grief when my cats’ times come. I hope that this art can make you, Mr. Skullkid, and Margot feel closer <3
