Nuts About Autumn! by Marcus Rodriguez
Via Flickr:
This year seems to be a bumper one for walnuts which means we get to harvest a few handfuls that the squirrels haven't grabbed yet! We'll return them some, later in the year, although I’m sure they have had plenty already…

Early morning coffee, in the shed, whilst preparing for some gardening. Daffodils are just about finished, for the year. Almost time for tulips!

Breakfast on a Wet Spring Morning by Marcus Rodriguez
Via Flickr:
Delicious homemade Eccles Cakes and stovetop espresso cheer up a rather wet and soggy spring morning. We're just on the cusp where winter is slowly (and reluctantly) giving way to spring — the first spring flowers are getting going, the leaf buds are swelling on the trees and yet I don't think winter's quite finished with us yet...

Witch's Cottage in the Woods par Marcus Rodriguez
Via Flickr :
Lost, alone and afraid the weary traveller spots a distant light through the deep dark woods. The cottage lurks, almost buried in undergrowth, and strange and terrifying sights can be glimpsed through the ivy-encrusted windows...

Halloween / Samhain 2016 by Marcus Rodriguez
Via Flickr:
Exhausted and lost, the lonely traveller stumbles through the deep forest. Spying a light peaking through the trees, they head gladly towards it. A cottage, ramshackle and overgrown, the door rotting on its hinges but light shines from the window. They knock — once, twice, three times. No answer. Seeking respite they enter anyway — the drab single room is deserted but a single candle burns by the window. Their eye is drawn by the strange artefacts under the window. Moving nearer, drawn by an unstoppable compulsion, a sudden movement outside the window provokes screams and screams of terror before the horror outside silences them forever... Technical: mostly a single shot, with only the smoke composited in, due to the 4 second exposure. The moon and figure are both shot as part of the scene with the moon being lit by a gelled flash and the figure light-painted with a led torch, giving it the greenish hue.

Summer's Last Hurrah par Marcus Rodriguez
Via Flickr :
The sun's put in an all-too-rare appearance, today after what seems like weeks of unseasonably cool weather. The days are drawing in, the harvest's gathered and thoughts turn to preparing for the long dark days of winter.
