It’s very sweet, and consent is very emphasized in this fic, which I really like. The characterization is on point, and never draws you out of the story. There’s great grammar and spelling, and if you like Pidgance, I’d recommend it.

While the rebellion does all they can do to stop the Galra from their cruel enlistments and kidnappings in an attempt to find said paladin’s, their forces are spread thin. They cannot stop all of them, and it becomes personal when Matt’s young sister is ripped right out of his arms. Ten years later, with three of the five paladin’s found and working with the Galra, the future is bleak, but he remains optimistic that he can find her, with or without the rebels at his side.

hey, do you have any Plance fics you'd rec??

BOY DO I! Most of these aren’t in any order except the first three bc I’m honestly a slut for this writer’s work. * will indicate that the fic is finished. 

Heartbeat in the brain* by ghostvinyls: not only one of the best plance fics I’ve ever read but one of the best soulmate fics I’ve read and dude I have read A LOT. I swear this thing is an emotional rollercoaster. I could talk about this fic for twenty years dude. 

Lying by Omission’s Still Lying- Even With Good Reason* by ghostvinyls: honestly another incredible piece by this writer. Unlike HITB though it’s still set in the voltron universe and ugh ??? It’s one of the only established relationship fics that I’ve really enjoyed because honestly I’m more of a slow burn kinda gal but the twist on this just makes it SO GOOD. 

ANYTHING by ghostvinyls: Honestly their fics are like crack to me and I wish I was exaggerating. Their characterizations of Pidge and Lance are SO ON THE NOSE. It’s SO GOOD DUDE. 

Becoming Aware by AIR_008: Honestly one of the funniest and most in character plance fics I’ve read. Lots of silly hormonal teenage shenanigans and soft feels in-between. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve laughed reading this fic.

What am I to you? by badwhalenikki: Another fic I really enjoy. It hasn’t been updated in a while but it’s still pretty enjoyable. I also recommend most if not all of their pidge/lance works because they’re all pretty good.

Pance week! by mistyhollowdrummer: These are a set of oneshots for the plance week that happened in like this last october. All of these oneshots/chapters are super enjoyable and I hope this writer adds more soon! 

Neutral Opinions* by cutekittenlady: This one is just a oneshot and honestly it’s been a while since I read it but I do remember really enjoying this so I’m going to add it. 

The Ventures in Viridian* series by the_qing: The first fic in this series along with it’s sequel was really nice and enjoyable. From what I can remember it’s set in an alternate version to the beginning of s2 and I enjoyed it from start to finish!
