So funny* to me when very loud disability “activist” type folx will angrily post about needing necessary accessibility accommodations and then turn around posting maskless selfies in public. Your lateral ableism is showing and it’s louder than you intended it to be.

*By funny I mean completely infuriating, but laughing helps me cope

I am so exhausted today and still have a horrible migraine, but I really want to make things today. I want to be creative and colorful and just let myself go

Going to go to a greenhouse this morning for a morale boost

It’s been over a year since I’ve been because I still hold so much grief for my dead collection. I had to unfollow all of my planty tags and groups and subreddits from all of my socials because I’m still devastated.

I lost my entire collection—over 400 plants and tens of thousands of dollars and countless hours invested in their care over multiple years—when my MIL couldn’t keep up her end of the bargain.

I will write about this more, but for now, I am very excited to walk around in some greenhouses with my husband as soon as they open.

#I’m also excited to get out of the house for a non medical reason #but it’s been so long since I’ve even been able to look at photos of my plants #and then I’m going to get home and make a big batch of soup #I woke up super grumpy this morning so here’s to hoping this helps lol #olive blogs

I am heavily dissociated today and extra fuzzy with who's actually up here because it feels like a number of us but also none at the same time. There's collective feelings and sensations of panic and dread that want to consume me. But there's also a strange calmness that has us all trying to focus on breathing--a gentle and soothing whisper more comforting than a hand rubbing my back.

I feel safety in the warmth of her voice.
