Cregan is arranged to marry a lady from the south, say Highgarden, to make more allies. Once the lady arrives in winterfell, everyone (including cregan) sees her reputation that she's just this spoiled and naïve daughter of a rich lord. Her dress looked very extravagant. During dinner she's so picky with her food, complaining about "this isnt how we cook our meat in the south!" All the northern lords groan and give the ever patient cregan a side-eye. Cregan asks for a different dish to be served for his future lady wife. Of course Cregan wants his wife to be involved in running the place and invites her to sit with him on meetings. She would refuse because she has "some embroidery to finish". Its fine, Cregan would understand. His lords wouldnt, and would talk ill of her, saying she knows nothing except for flowers and sewing. Lord Stark would sternly warn all of them not to talk shit about the future lady Stark if they value their lives.

Their wedding day arrives and everyone is in agreement on how beautiful she is that day. The event was a solemn one, and there was a lot of merrymaking after. Cregan had already shut down the proposal of a bedding ceremony, choosing to have his lady wife in private. Now this is when things start to shift.

Cregan thought it was too fast because the moment he shut the doors to their chambers, his lady pounces on him, kissing deep and wet, hands all over and undressing him. His brain finally catches on and helps her out of her (second, less extravagant and less fussy) dress and oh when did his trousers disappear? Why is her dress off? Why is she on her knees-OH! Cregan pats himself in the back this time when she comes just seconds before him.

He's glad he's called off the bedding ceremony. It would've been embarrassing for him. 😂 (sorry if this was too long i think about cregan too much 😥)

Omg Cregan’s rose totally gives lovable bimbo vibes. Like she truly doesn’t care for the ruling aspect of things and why should she? She was raised in the reach, in the south, where women are subservient to men. She knows she’s beautiful and is content to be her handsome, gruff, northern god of a husbands darling little wife.

Why does she need to look strong and intimidating when she has a wolf at her side? She spends her days babbling away to Cregan about the joys of her home, about her flowers, her embroidery, the harvests and jewels and wine sent by her family in the reach as per the agreement made upon Cregan marrying her. She knows she’s secure because without her families harvests the north would suffer. She doesn’t need to do anything else as simply being in the north gives the northern kingdom and it’s people security to get through the cold without hardship.

Cregan knows this and enjoys it immensely. He loves his little rose-wife. His little darling that simply wishes to bring him only pleasure. Who goes on walks and rides and sings him the most beautiful songs. She plays only the most delicate of instruments to soothe him and is more than willing to accommodate any of his sexual desires where he wants to. We all know he has a massive breeding kink and the women in the south have been taught that their worth lies in their ability to give children. So the rose is more than happy to provide her husband with a litter of pups.

So whilst the north may disparage her and roll their eyes at what they deem frivolity. Rose is just living her best life as this pampered darling who knows she can simply sit and look pretty and she fulfils her husbands life and dreams.
