Persistence won out over apathy in the end. Tim wore Batman down through sheer stubbornness and blunt honesty. He wasn't looking to replace what Bruce had lost, wasn't trying to be the stand in for a dead boy. Sometimes he wasn't quite sure what he was doing, exactly, but he always knew that whatever it was, it was necessary.

(Tim won't let his heroes fade away without a fight. Even if he has to bring it right to their doorstep and insist they fight too)

recently watched this and i love it’s fast paced humour and the general blasé outlook saiki has. it is criminally underrated and so i’m sharing some of my favourite fics from this fandom!

Satou Hiroshi is an ordinary high school boy. An ordinary high school boy would never turn down a chance to sit with perfect pretty girl, Teruhashi Kokomi. So, like any ordinary high school boy, when he’s offered a chance to sit at her table, he accepts. Kusuo is overjoyed. At least, he was overjoyed until he finds that high school boys as ordinary as Satou don’t hear telepathic speech.

i love the take this fic has on satou’s normalcy, considering that he can’t hear saiki talk at all. we gotta love aiura wingmanning saiki from the sidelines, plus satou’s general confusion is hilarious!

this fic really emphasises the gaps in saiki’s knowledge when it comes to things like appearance or different textures, and it is so sweet! the descriptions capture someone seeing faces for the first time in years really well, and i think it’s an interesting take on depowered saiki

‘What the hell? I’m soulmates with this guy? How the fuck does he have so many scars?!' God must hate him then to give him not one, but two soulmates. (or where only a soulmate can see your physical and emotional scars)

i love seeing soulmate aus with aroace people, and this fic does it so well. the friendship the four of them have is so sweet, and kaidou and kuboyasu immediately being ready to go to bat for saiki is sweet too!

Kusuo forgets something important in the aftermath of his battle with Kusuke - namely, that his time rewind has a 24 hour limit. It wears off when he's studying with his friends and now he's got a whole host of injuries to take care of, good grief. So he scrams. Kaidou and Kuboyasu get worried and go after him. They don't allow themselves to be sent away.

an amazing hurt/comfort fic with a great portrayal of the dynamics between the characters. plus, i love how the fic emphasises how a reliance on his powers has left saiki unprepared for what to do in the absence of them

this fic has done a brilliant job in exploring the impact of a time loop on saiki, especially considering he has a higher mental age than a physical one. plus, aiura the beloved forcing saiki to take care of himself is great

As part of the hero course, it’s their duty to help test out this new experimental virtual villain rehabilitation program. The fact it’s being developed by one of Nezu’s friends has nothing to do with it! Or class 2-A gets thrown into various different worlds and scenarios without their memories where their interactions are observed and documented. Bakugou and Midoriya seem fated to meet each time again.
