hello! gosh, i honestly have no idea what else to do anymore. i've been such a huge ball of anxiety these pass few days and i feel like i've got no other choice ://

so, enrollment for the next semester is this Monday (in 4 days), and idk why my school decided to do it during this time when most ppl don't get paid until the last day of the month/next month. as if that isn't enough, enrollments are also on a time limit and now that we get to decide our own schedules, it's also a race on who gets the subjects first. and if you can't pay for a percentage of the tuition fee upfront, you're going to get delisted so you have to pick your subjects again. the later you enroll, the fewer timeslots. so i could end up having a 6-9pm which isn't safe for me in this city especially when i commute alone. even worse, our tuition for this semester is much higher for some reason and we weren't warned about it.

i can't ask for financial aid from my school yet bc it's required to have at least finished 1 year before you're able to. i'm still trying to look for student/personal loan options bc most i've seen so far require a monthly that i just can't afford rn and it only covers 1 term instead of a whole year so it's not really that sustainable :(( (i don't live in the US btw so it's not a "start paying when you graduate" thing. taking out a loan means i still need to pay monthly while in school on top of other expenses, which as you can imagine, feels more like a burden than it is helpful.) i've also tried looking for scholarships but most only support stem/business courses bc this country isn't nice to artists so that sucks.

i honestly have very little money saved and with the sudden increase in tuition, it's hard to cover half of it even with my parents' help. and again, nobody is getting paid until next month so money is already tight as is with it being the end of th month.

so long story short, i need some help. the first installment for the fee (converted from my currency) is about $600. BUT. NO PRESSURE. i'm only asking those who have extra to spare. and any and all amounts are welcome. it's already going to be such a huge help. hell, even just a simple reblog to boost this already helps a ton.

The blonde adorable-looking old pup is my 10+ years old Saetta (Lightning in English, I guess?), basically a half cat half dog because she was on her own most of her life, but so cuddly when she decides you are worth her attention (see above) and the brunette who advances like a t-rex and is ridiculously cute is my medium pup Sfera (Sphere) but Pallina for her friends (Tiny Ball), accidentally named perfectly because she adores running in circles. Please consider giving them a hand buying them a ko-fi, we refuse to abandon them obviously, but we are in trouble. Link is in the source, and if you can please reblog! If someone has seen Saetta before in my blog, yes I already asked for help when she was dying and as you can see thankfully she’s okay now, even if a bit anxious after the surgeries! Why are we in trouble with them? Because they decided to be disaster-dogs who can’t be stopped from climbing and running everywhere even if it can kill them, and we can’t find a way to make them a safe home if not by buying wood and other materials to make a fence/enclosure, which we don’t have money for (more details below) and, worse, they now only want to eat fresh or canned meat, no dry nuggets or cereals, no dog food outside of pieces of meat, and maybe they’ll accept some people’s food but only if seasoned the way they like it. It’s way too much for us to afford! Plus we are saving for a vet appointment but if they need meds we are in serious trouble. 

We have rescued them a year ago from a bad person but we are also very poor and it’s hard as hell to take care of them - obviously we are better than a kennel, which in my small town is the equivalent to locking them in a small cabinet until they die, but they deserve so much more too! We give them all the love and we are literally eating less so that we can buy them more food, but these two ladies are now refusing to eat their regular (and affordable) dog food because they prefer a different and more expensive type, and they’ll accept a bit of human food on top like pasta if specifically seasoned the way they like (obviously with dog-limitations) but only if you give them both.

You could say: just don’t give them any other food until they finally eat what you choose, don’t let them be picky! Except that we found out they were refusing food only after Saetta lost a dangerous amount of weight because she rejected it for days (and we didn’t realize right away because Pallina ate her portion too, and gained a lot of weight, and then obviously decided it was enough and stopped eating too. Only then their plates stayed full and we were able to see what was happening). They used to happily eat pasta when their meat wasn’t enough (plus other things but now we can afford less so there are no dog-friendly leftovers), but they only want it if it has butter and parmisan (we are Italian so it’s the healthy kind of pasta, butter and oil, but it’s also expensive). They want meat morsels, not those cereal looking dry types of food. They don’t want dog appropriate fruits except sometimes a bit of apples, if you peel them.  If you only give them the cheap healthy dog food ‘until they give in’ they will accidentally let themselves die, probably starting to eat again eventually because famished but surely too late to recover. They want the expensive healthy one or NOTHING (expensive to us, not to anyone with a reasonable amount of money).

Plus we have to keep them locked in a smaller portion of the house at night because they have proved to be adorable idiots who will hurt themselves if let free to roam around the whole garden, eating crap and literally climbing up a roof and getting stuck, and we WERE building a big wall made of net around the biggest portion of the garden to keep them safe but also give them lots of space, except that they have managed to: 1) bite the net open and escape 2) rip with their paws a piece of wood we had NAILED to the ground to keep the net in place and escape 3) climb up a PLANT to jump over the net and escape 4) climb around the plant to jump over the net and escape 5) climb up the net after jumping very high, using their weight to bend the net, and escape because they want to go back to their original small area and can’t get used to the bigger but different one if we can’t make them stay there for more than one hour before they escape.

So we need money to buy more material to finish the damn net and put a door on it, this way while during the day they are more free to run around, at night they are still there but safe (in the garden, in the open, but with a doghouse we already built them).
