Thank you so so much @silly-bean for tagging me!!! 💕 I also want to get to know you better!

Last song: The last one was Coyotes by Modest Mouse, it ended as soon as I started this ajdkghjkasg and now I'm listening to Sunsleeper by Barry Can't Swim

Favourite colour: It's green or red or maybe even both at this point! They're pretty in all shades, vibrant or dull. I wear a lot more red than I do green and my room is kind of accented red, so I'm probably more red-coded to people than green-coded, but like. Green is pretty

Currently watching: I'm not watching anything right now, and the only thing that I'm currently watching regularly is Blood Blockade Battlefront. I've gotta watch that Todd in the Shadows video at some point soon but keep forgetting to put time aside for it oops

Last movie/show: My last movie was Get Out, which is very very good! Last show was Gravity Falls, which I was rewatching with my brother. Hadn't seen that show in years so it was very fun to revisit!

Spicy, savoury, or sweet?: Oh gosh sweet, I have such a sweet tooth. Spicy is a close second though! Sweet chili flavour things are such a treat for me, so even my savoury stuff is sweet and/or spicy ahdgjkahgdkj

Last thing I googled: "editors 2024 tour" to check the dates tickets go on sale because there's a couple I think I could make it to and I am not going to pass up an opportunity to see them live again!!

Idk if you saw or not but in the server we were talking about SOLDIER healing being like kintsugi (fixing broken pottery with gold) in that wounds that would normally scar are filled over with mako instead. So, scarred SOLDIERS are just covered in glowing lines, and, unlike real scars, the glow just gets dimmer as time passes but never actually fades completely.

Of course, this has me thinking of a version of SSC where the trio is able to better see exactly how old Cloud's scars are and also that at least one impalement was from before he got enhanced. Just, Genesis pulling off Cloud's shirt and being horrified at the number of glowing marks he sees (from both battle wounds and lab scars)

16. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever used as a bookmark?

I'm not sure if it's weird tbqh. I've used a 5€ bill, a grocery list, a strip of gift ribbon... whatever was available.

22. How organized are you with your writing? Describe to me your organization method, if it exists. What tools do you use? Notebooks? Binders? Apps? The Cloud?

Weirdly organized, I'd say? XD I have a folder system on my desktop which starts with fandom, then series/fic name (sometimes I have an extra folder for one-shots if I write a lot in that fandom). Usually I save my finished works here, and I've started actually just downloading the pdfs from Ao3 ^^"

On gdocs, it's super unorganized, I just have a doc for each fic/verse with notes and snippets thrown in, using comments to remind me of stuff I need to add/edit, using the title as chapter sections, etc. for longer works - shorter ones just exist in their little doc.

Usually no physical notes or notebooks, unless I'm stuck in a boring meeting/seminar at work that doesn't need me to engage my brain!

35. What’s your favorite writing rule to smash into smithereens?

Avoiding adverbs. Like yes, I get it, sometimes you can use stronger verbs instead - but sometimes people just need to say something quietly because whispering is the wrong vibe.

General concept for this "redesign":

Mew is like a forgotten creation God, sure there are references here and there about them but they're never directly mentioned. They're implied to exist but no one's really sure ya know?

Nowadays they just wander about, playing little pranks and messing around for the most part.

For that fic title game: The Place Between Hope and Despair

Ohhh interesting.

My first thought is Guardian: Shen Wei immediately post-dirtnap or during dirtnap. A very introspective piece about how he misses Kunlun, figures out he originally came from the modern world (finding fashion, slang, and most importantly lollipops that remind him of Kunlun's eccentricities). So he goes from despair at having lost everything to hoping that Kunlun's promise of We'll Meet Again will become true, ending on that hopeful note :)

Second thought is GYADL: Luo Fusheng after he gets exiled from the Hong family for breaking their weird ass rules. Honestly, Hong!dad fucked up big time doing that *grumbles* But that moment where he's at his lowest, and then Tianying appears and helps him back on his feet? Ideally with lots of rain and bruises and blood because Luo Fusheng looks very pretty when wet and hurt :3
