Week in review
It’s been a heck of a week.
Wednesday the kids, one cousin, and I visited Cooper’s Rock State Forest in West Virginia.
It was lovely! We went to two overlooks (the water below is the Cheat River) and got to scramble around some wonderful boulders. I managed to squeeze through a very narrow crevice between two of the rock faces, an exercise that took four attempts because I got nervous about it and backed out three times. I wasn’t really fond of feeling the rock face behind me and in front squeezing closer together until I barely fit through! We all had a good time, though, and didn’t get sunburned or too overheated.
