Okay, so... Sometimes special things cross our ways unexpectedly. I feel we gotta keep ourselves sensitive enough so we can catch the drift or special things can go unnoticed.

I'm gonna share something that just happened to me, so it has nothing biographical about Elvis here -- but in a way it has everything to do with him and his magic pouring onto his fans when we less expect it. ✨

It all started with:

I have a huge Jensen Ackles crush aside from my Elvis Presley burning passion. A few minutes ago I was peeping Jensen's Instagram profile and his last post was one congratulating his wife, Danneel Ackles for her birthday, which is one day previous to mine (March 18) ♥ -- Yes, today, March 19, is my birthday. Okay, very cute but so what?

Then I went to Danneel's Instagram , just because I was already there. Scrolling through her feed, I crossed a funny video of Danneel and Jensen reproducing the video clip of "You Can Call Me Al" by Paul Simon. It was a celebration for their 10th wedding anniversary. 🥹

Okay, since I've never heard the song before, and I loved it very much, I decided adding it to my Spotify's playlists (yes, to some of them, not just one... it's a real good track this one!). But... talk about how surprised I was when I learned the title of the album that song was released in is "GRACELAND".

Isn't this odd? I know, some people just don't believe in nothing like magic... to some folks everything is just coincidence but I can't help but think this... this album getting to me today, and the way it happened, was kinda a gift from EP to me, on my birthday. 🥹

It's nothing related to his own work or anything but I'm a huge music lover, huge, and I love discovering new songs, specially if they are from the past. I think somehow, someway, this was kinda a gift to me. "Oh, just because the title of the album?" -- Sure but also the way that album crossed my way so randomly like that.

I gotta say I haven't checked on Jensen Ackles' instagram profile in a long while -- no kidding -- let alone his wife's IG! I'm actually not checking anything on Instagram for some months now. So why today? Why clicking on THIS specific video on Danneel's IG? Why visiting her IG, by the way?

You can say all you want as think as you'd like... call me silly, it's fine... but I'll take it as a special gift from Elvis to me. Songs I didn't know before, an entire new album for me to appreciate on my birthday and forever on. ♥

One can spend its life thinking such thing as magic is BS, that it doesn't exist. One can chose to spend its live life in such uninspired, cold, lame way, sure, but... appreciating the little things and believing every little thing is a miracle and a gift to make me smile a little more it's the way I chose to spend MY life -- I feel it's not even a choice, actually. It's just who I am.

Anyway... I know it's a silly, small little thing but this was so random it surprised me greatly.

The song "Graceland" doesn't directly mentions Elvis by name, but ya' know... Elvis and Graceland are a single thing. Anyway... I just felt like sharing this here because:

1. It really impressed me how randomly this thing happened.

2. The album is amazing, so I recommend you to listen to it.

THANK YOU FOR INCLUDING ME IN YOUR REINDEER GAMES I FEEL SO LOVED

What immediately comes to mind is Javi's wardrobe. It is full of bright, warm colors and I love him in oranges, red, and yellows.

I have my fair share of colors in my wardrobe, but there's an overwhelming amount of black just because it goes with everything and makes getting ready in the morning a lot easier. Black also generally hides wear and therefore lasts longer.

I can imagine showing up at his house for a vacation and after a few days he notices all the black black black day in and day out, and all he says is that he wants to take me into town, that he has a surprise for me. And he takes me into a shop that has all kinds of beautiful, flowing clothing, perfect for warmer climates and tells me I would be more comfortable in the heat in lighter fabrics and he would like to treat me and I should pick out some outfits.

Of course, I'm going to go toward the darker colors. No doubt he's taking me somewhere that isn't cheap and I'll want to make sure I can hide stains and wear things longer. But he would ask me to try them on.

And maybe he would give a half-hearted nod to some of them, but maybe he would take some and swap them out for brighter colors. For indigos and aquas, for peaches and pinks. For stripes and florals and retro patterns.

And those he would make a big deal over. Stupidly overacting how much he loves them on me.

And I would let him.

Because he obviously means to lighten my mood and my step, to bring me back to my playful self. Just like he put on a big show for Nick to not quit acting, went over the top with his family to reconcile them, so too would he find a showy way to put me in an island kind of mood and make me feel confident and pretty.

i do relish digging into the angst of the various murder attempts between jason and tim, but i also enjoy the hilarity of them both being so completely over the emotional baggage of it to the point of using it in their brotherly spats. jason comes to ask tim a favor and tim's like "wow lots of audacity asking a favor from the guy you tried to MURDER" and jason says "I will finish the job right now don't fucking test me" and tim says "i wish you would then i wouldnt have to listen to your overblown dramatic monologues ever again" and jason immediately gets him into a headlock and tim starts shrieking and wailing that jason's trying to kill him again and jason's struggling to get a hand over his mouth becuz if he goes on too long kon will show up from wherever he is and jason will have to go on the run for a couple months. and everyone else just has to live with this

yeah once they’re out of Active Murder Zone tim has the upper hand every time because he’s got the kon trump card. even if jason has bizarro on speed dial it’s not the same because bizarro has no beef with tim and meanwhile kon is at all times one wrong look away from dropping jason into an active volcano

The Party have a random sleepover a few months after they defeat Vecna (when their parents finally allow them). They all fall asleep in the middle of Steve's living room and discover that Eddie snores so loud you think an elephant was being tortured. By 3 in the morning, everyone is awake again, not able to sleep no matter what they do.

The surprise is Steve is the ONLY ONE asleep in the midst of Eddie's loud snores. Dustin finally snaps and rolls Eddie off the couch.

"What the fuck?!" Eddie yelps out when he finally wakes up.

"Dude! You snore so loudly! You need to get checked out, okay?! You could have sleep apnea! Or something worse!"

Eddie mumbles a response that sounds similar to a yes and Dustin shakes Steve awake.

Steve stares at him with bleary eyes, half-awake, half-asleep, "What?"

"What do you mean what?! Vecna could've gone back for us and you wouldn't have moved. Didn't you hear Eddie's snoring?"

Steve chuckles, still not fully conscious, "It's okay. Just roll him over. I am used to it."

"You're used to it?! What does that mean? Have you been sleeping in the same bed?!"

And that is the story of how the Party found out that Steve and Eddie have been dating for months now.

Okay, you know that hc where Tim Reincarnates as The Trash of the Bat Family? It got me thinking of him scamming and making the "Real League of Assassins". He integrates Pru, Z and Owens early, makes them his people (or assassins disguised as servants).

"Where's the coffee?"

Owens, pouring chamomile tea, "We're all out of coffee, Sir."

"Energy drinks?"

Pru, throwing a trash bag away. "All gone too, Sir."

He integrates Kon before he experiences the SA with Tana Moon and other ladies, and Kon becomes his bodyguard.

"Are we doing something bad?"

"Oh, we're doing something veeeeery bad. To Lex Luthor."

Tim rescuing Damian.

"You're Damian Al Ghul Wayne. You're an Al Ghul and a Wayne. You can do whatever you want. I'm not taking care of you."

Damian, not trusting this lying bastard, secretly follows him around. Tim knows Damian is, and begrudgingly just accepts Damian into his fold until he reaches Gotham again.

"If you die, Timothy, I will dominate the world, kill everyone, and then myself."

I love these additions so much!!!

The "Real League of Assassins" is such a petty name, and I live for it. Just Tim as a kid and his little League of Assassins (depending on how far back he went into the past and how soon he aquires the OG best assassin squad). It would be double hilarious if his "Real League of Assassins" doesn't actually kill anyone, but I also respect Tim's right to commit murder however he deems fit. I like to imagine how mad Ra's would get at the name.

Part of Tim's asshole cover comes from Pru. There's two ways this can go. One, Pru is her complete self in front of everyone (she will break someone's nose no matter their price tag). This causes major scandals and issues for Tim cause how could he hire someone who behaves like that? Or Two, Pru is creepily pleasant and respectful around other company, and Tim continues to act like usual around her. This causes people to pity Pru for having such a horrible boss.

I also live for Bodyguard Kon AUs. You know the two of them are playing a "I know your sickly Victorian child looking ass can beat me up, but I will pretend I don't know this until you tell me why" with a "please stop saving me from every small things because I know you know a sunburn isn't going to kill me." It's dealer's choice on how soon Kon finds out about Tim's vigilante gig. Also, if Kon is a bodyguard in this, is he also Superboy or the equivalent? Does he become a superhero once he finds out about Tim's heroism? There's no way Kon would stick around Tim if he believed the persona Tim kept up.

Cue Tim accidentally forming the YJ again, but this time it's hidden from the JL radars and is a closely guarded secret.

As far as Damian, I absolutely love that quote you included. It's so Damian coded and I live for him threatening to take over the world. I also want to see Tim's reaction and how concerned he is over Damian threatening to kill himself. As an older brother, he legit could care less about Damian managing to kill the entire world. It's Damian wanting to die that scares him.

As far as the AU, Tim is trying so hard to distance himself from the Waynes that his dumbass shouldn't have picked up Damian in person. He was probably too anxious to leave it to someone else, but now he has a tiny suspicious assassin who reluctantly became fond of him.

There's a few different ways this can play out.

One, Tim picks up Damian in his vigilante costume and never unmasks to Damian. The little tot starts to think of this vigilante as maybe a brother before being given to Bruce (angst of abandonment tied with identity shenanigans. How soon does Damian realize that Timothy "Trash" Drake is the one to save him from the League?).

Two, Tim starts off with his secret identity in tact but reveals himself while traveling back. They bond, Damian is left at Bruce's, and, to the surprise of literally all the Waynes, the kid is seen constantly talking to the complete jerk Timothy Drake. Damian is actually nicer to this douchebag stranger than he is to some of his family members. What's equally shocking is how kind Tim is to Damian. Tim hasn't been cruel to children before, but he hasn't gone out of his way to be nice either. This cues investigations into Tim by the batfam.

Three, Damian refuses to go live with his dad and sticks around Tim when they return to Gotham. Depending on when Tim rescues Damian, Tim's fake uncle adopts Damian, and they become brothers legally. When Bruce finds out Damian is his son, he doesn't take the excuse, "I found him on the streets!" from Tim seriously.

i was reading a book about space to my baby sister and it mentioned how yellow stars are hotter than red stars and it had me thinking about the impact that has on kryptonians

earth in general is so much warmer than krypton, yes the yellow sun gives them powers and makes them almost invulnerable but it's so hot and they're so sweaty all the time

maybe someone like clark who has lived his whole life here has acclimated to the weather, but as much as he can do that the heat still doesn't feel natural to him which is why his fortress is in the coldest climate you can get on this planet, where he feels most physically comfortable

for someone like kara though, who grew up on krypton, the earth's heat would be absolutely unbearable, and would it increasingly more difficult for her to adapt to earth life, an unfamiliar culture, new unfamiliar powers she has to control and the heat just makes matters entirely worse. heat is uncomfortable, it's a stressor, it can lead to irritability and anger and aggression. all of that to deal with on top of the death of her family and her home
