The Marvels is a great movie. I'm sad that it took me this long to see it. But I enjoyed it a lot, laughed and I would watch it again.

Multiple Goose Theory

I'm not done squeeing about The Marvels trailer. Monica, ur so prtty.

But! I have noticed that when Nick Fury and Monica Rambeau show up at the Khan's house, Nick has a cat (presumably Goose) sitting next to him.

Except, when Kamala entangles away, she lands next to Goose who eats some aliens for her.

Now it's possible this is some deceptive editing and Kamala does entangle (I'm using that as a verb, don't try to stop me) away in that moment in the Khan house, but they are cutting to another sequence entirely.

OR (and this one is just more fun for me), what if there is a Flerken on Earth with Nick (the last we saw of Goose he was kept in Nick Fury's office at SHIELD) and also one--which I will call "Chewie"--who is with Carol in space.

This would explain the Flerken kittens later in the video. Maybe they were procreating at Tony's funeral in Endgame.

Marvel Studio next movie is “The Marvels” to be release in November 2023. I think Kevin Feige will need to spend a lot on advertising if he hopes to get a return on his investment.

Why? “The Marvels” has an identity problem. First, Brie Larson has said that no one recognizes her as Captain Marvel in public (not a good sign of her popularity). Her character’s last big appearance was in “Endgame” were she had very little impact on the results.

Next - Larson’s co-stars (Teyonah Parris & Iman Vellani) were both introduced in Disney+ TV shows, so unless you subscribe to that service you won’t know who these character are and won’t be as invested in their journey.

AND the are less viewers subscribing to Disney+!
