this isn’t nsfw (i hope that’s okay?) but i’m super super curious about your thoughts on this- what do you think a maiden/reader would have to do/be like in order to truly attract the proper attention of the dimi girls? i’m talkin, like, when you mention in requests cassandra truly trusting someone, enough so that she’ll bottom/sub- and also just like. the girls being IN LOVE with someone. what makes maiden/reader special enough that they don’t end up as dinner? for each sister, cuz i’m sure it totally differs among them

Catching her attention is difficult, she tends to not linger on the maidens too long

She is also the most “merciful” out of the three sisters however, decreasing your chances of becoming her dinner, if she doesn’t feel irritated

She doesn’t waste her time on romance, normally. She believes love is a weakness until she meets you

Being cared and praised is the go to for her attention. A dangerous game, however

A little boldness is almost necessary to woo this sister, if she hasn’t got her eyes on you already

If you bring her a tray of food as she overworks herself, she will not forget

Instead, find yourself promoted (or perhaps doomed?) to become her personal maid, a position not many are granted. It’s an excuse to learn more about you, really

Bela is very strict and entitled, knowing just what she wants. She needs someone competent, who will not add more troubles to her pile

Someone, caring, and comforting

She wants someone that stands out, not unlike her sisters

If you catch her attention before you catching hers, she will do her best to woo you through inviting commanding you to join her as she reads or even have you stand beside her at dinner time

Upon finding out more about you, she realizes how much she enjoys your company

She will ask more about you and tell you more of hers, complain to her sisters and the business

She definitely appreciates you listening, and will swoon if you try to help her in any way. Massages are her favorite way to relax, she is always tense

The idea of falling in love was foreign to her. How would Mother react? What about the business? Could she even keep you safe from her sisters? From herself?

Yet she craves your attention

She loves listening to you talk

She will likely not be the first to declare her love

What she loves the most about you? Your presence. It’s as if you help her feel calm magically

Cassandra

You might want to be careful around this one- or rather- not

She loves toying with the maidens, but none stand out

That is, until there is one that does not tremble in fear

To catch this one’s attention, you must stand out. Be bold, flirty, unrelenting or unbothered. The normal, terrified maidens that shrink in her presence bore her. She likes to be challenged

If she finds she can’t immediately scare you, you have her attention. It’s now her personal mission to make you tremble in fear

This ranks from jumping out at you to having you clean her bloody weapons, to even giving you an “innocent” tour of the basement

Upon spending more of her time with you, she finds you fascinating. She doesn’t care what your hobbies are, she likes to take an interest in them. She’s very, very curious

She will likely attempt to woo you first, but should you attempt it before her: she will attempt to make you stumble

She has a tough, Playgirl like facade, but she knows love well. It’s unknown to her, but catches her attention

Unlike her sisters, she doesn’t care for flowers

Want to know a way to catch her attention immediately?- take interest in HER. All of her

What’s her favorite weapon? What are her hunts like? How is it to be made of flies? What are her hobbies?

She will at times attempt to drag you to hunt with her, she thinks it’s quality time spent together

She will do the first step and kiss you. She isn’t one for words, but actions

In bed, she can be a switch, if you play your cards right

Cassandra is a brat at heart, and deeply concerned about who she opens up with. She doesn’t want to fall

Challenge her and dominate her shamelessly and she will give in quickly, eager for this

She keeps you at arm length for a while, but eventually opens up as you prove your love and, most of all, loyalty to her

She values this among all other: loyalty

It might be very useful to not be worried about the gore ;)

Daniela

Lovely, naive and romance-obsessed Daniela is easy to woo, but difficult to keep

She will love you as long as you entertain her

Catching her eye is easy- she is used to people falling for her, you are no different to her at the start

Be as romantic and cheesy as possible, it will have her swoon

Red roses? Flowers? Love letters? Poems? Cuddling before and after sex? She loves all of it and will demand all your attention

The more time you spend together however, the more attached she grows to you, not the romance

She will be as clingy still, even more so

Daniela believes she loves fast, but has a little of a temper. Be sure not to have her anger pointed towards you

Another challenge might be her family: Daniela is, after all, the youngest. Protected by both her sisters and mother alike

You will feel glances at the back of your head and threats spoken to you. They will lessen with time when your loyalty is proven to them as well as Daniela. They do not trust as easily as her

Daniela herself cares not for this. She thinks it’s adorable and funny how her family looks out for her

She loves to spend time together in the library, reading together, and is very curious about your hobbies

PS: if you’re naturally dominant, it will make her swoon even more. Generally, you can’t go wrong with treating her like a princess either- although she will be even more spoiled

i vote that next year instead of reading Dracula we do a Jeeves & Wooster Book Club. those two never got the rabid tumblr shipping fandom they deserved (disqualified for the sheer technicality of being published a century too soon). we must correct this injustice
