Logan and Patton were no where to be found. Virgil went from room to room knocking and got no response. He had seemed to forget a few methods to ground the anxiety that was brimming in his body, like steam pipes about to burst he was trying to find someone to help calm him down.

Logans room was the easiest choice. Virgil took no more than a few knocks and no response before he quickly gave that up and moved to the next door, surely if Logan was there he would have opened on the first knock.

Patton, was his second go to. That father figure could name numerous things to get his mind away from the anxieties currently eating away at his mind, almost like some kind of- well anesthesia. He could help numb the thoughts and stream of consciousness by bringing in laughter. He knocked on the door- after a few brief moments and his anxiety spiking he tried again.

Again no response. Of everywhere these two could be they're not here at all? No wonder he was feeling the anxiety as intensely as he was. No logic, and no parental figure that could find some ground to calm him- its almost like a bull was running ramped after escaping the bullpen. He slowly made his way down stairs, the sound of the TV could be clearly heard- yet there was no one down there. It seemed like Lilo & Stitch was on and it was near the beginning, and yet there was an empty living room. Turning to enter the kitchen Virgil hit straight on into a hard surface, the thing falling after meeting his head and clanking to the ground.

Someone was here- he scrambled to stand up ready to take whatever action necessary- definitely not scream- and saw princey... now covered in popcorn, the bowl at his foot that he was holding and a tv remote in his hand. "AH Virge- my toe- Whats going on; you're never not on guard?" Roman said while sucking in air through his teeth as he went through the pain from the bowl. Virgil stood up a bit straighter-

"I couldnt- it was empty, I didn't think anyone was here..." Virgil took a moment to look at the mess he caused and sighed bending down to pick up the mess, "truthfully Ro?" Virgil said.

"Tuthfully?" Roman asked dusting off the popcorn from his shoulders.

"I- I was... am freaking out- I tried to find Logan or Pat-" Virgil was stopped in his sentence as Roman moved his hand towards the couch gesturing to sit down, after a moment with no response he lightly tugged on Virgils hoodie bringing him to the couch.

"You don't have to explain; unless it helps to. But if you'd rather we can watch Lilo & Stitch- It just started."

Virgil took a moment to himself, he could see the popcorn on Roman falling off which had him chuckle, Roman still had a hold of his hoodie, the TV was paused with Lilo holding a sandwich, the couch had two blankets laid across it and a small figit toy seemed to appear out of nowhere on the table. "Huh yeah that sounds nice actually."

Virgil rubbed his hands on his jeans, the fabric tough and scratchy. He noticed his hair was less in front of his eyes so he shuffled his hair, the softness felt nice and he liked the safety it brought. Sitting with Roman on the couch he reached for one of the blankets, its softness for exceeding his hair. Getting comfortable he felt the couch, its odd texture feeling at home since its the place he would often find solace at outside his room.

Sitting on the couch Virgil could here the static of the speakers before Roman began the movie, the ice machine going off again and the tap of Roman's foot. "Did you- want popcorn for the movie?" Roman wondered as he started to hum to the song that started.

Virgil shook his head, "I'll be ok." Virgil could smell the popcorn coming from Roman, and sure it smelt good but he felt less like eating and was feeling far more sleepy. It looked like the place had been cleaned while he was in his room, everything smelled more like soap then he remembered. Perhaps that's something Patton did before he went, well wherever he went.

Letting out a small content sigh Virigl could taste the coffee he had earlier. He was far more calm then he thought he'd be. He of course was not going to complain however, it was a simple comfort-

His eyelids started growing heavier, perhaps there was something weighing more on him then he had realized.. and yet right now that was unimportant.

When Logan and Patton returned from their brief venture of errands they came home to the two passed out. Slight snores emanated from them both- yet one seemed far more exhausted then the other. Patton just hummed to himself; as sleep too seemed to be sending out their siren call as the echo of Lilo & Stitch continued into the dully lit room of the house.

In 2019, I spontaneously decided to write a Sanders Sides/ Warriors cats crossover and ended up with 100K words after a month. I have no idea what compelled me to write that but it happened and I’d say it’s pretty good. Basically just Sanders Sides and related characters as cats in the Warriors universe but with it’s own plot.

Roman looked Janus over for a moment as he imagined pulling him closer, but after last night he was scared to start anything. Instead, he just slowly moved his gaze down to his lips, hoping his blushing wasn't noticeable.

It was noticable. Janus wouldn't blame Roman for not making the first move, so he decided that if he wanted this, he had to do it himself.

"Dammit... Why do you have to be so attractive?" He hisses before moving between Roman's legs and grabbing his face, pulling him down to a kiss.

It all happened so fast. Roman's eyes flutter closed, moving his hand - warm from holding the tea - to Janus' neck.

It was like he imagined.

No, it was better than he imagined, because this was real.

The way this kiss made his heart beat faster was real.

Roman smiled, finally opening his eyes as he felt some of the stings of pain go away. "Okay good. Oh-" he touched his face, moving his hand over all the bandaids. He sighed, "This is so unflattering."

Janus shakes his head, pulling Romans hand away from his face and replacing it with his own, cupping his cheek "Its endearing"
