"That moment"

For a long time I was sure that being able to keep my emotions under control is an advantage of mine. This quality helped me to survive, although putting a time bomb under myself.

Several weeks ago a family tragedy happened to me. A week after that I kept on feeling nothing about it, which actually surprised me, until one night I was stroked by a horrible physical pain that was even spreading in my teeth. My breath nearly stopped, everything became blurry, I became completely sure I was dying. Being alone in an unknown place on a foreign language, I understood I can’t even call for help.

This near dеаth experience made me rethink everything about keeping my emotions hidden. If emotions happen, they have to be lived through, suffered through even. It’s a pity that this knowledge have costed me having constant pains in my heart until now though.

The nervous system continues to work in the same mode, exhausting its carrier even at rest. This can be compared to a radio that is always on and can not be turned off. Often, this disease can even become an obstacle to sleep. In such situations, people sometimes start to use medications or drụgs.
