In Brooklyn99, does anyone ever feel like Terry had some real mental health issues and I'm not talking about just the 'scared for his family thing'

Like just think, he grew up with a bully of a father (told in S03) and had to make take care of his brother when their parents fought when he himself was just a child (told in S07). Then, he had a relationship where his girlfriend cheated on him (Chiaki, told in S01). After this with Sharon he had to move in with her even though he didn't want to (told in S04). And even had kids before he wanted to (told in S06).

Terry deserves a million hugs :)

So you know how in mostly every show it's usually the male lead who's irresistible but in Brooklyn99, it was the case with Amy? And how everyone just loves her? Like really loves her?

I mean look at Teddy. That guy proposed to her everytime he met her after their breakup. Even after he got married and was SHOPPING FOR HIS FUTURE BABY.

And Constantine Kane, the lead singer of a band. That guy was planning to win her back even after he knew she was engaged, to get married. And he was gonna do that by singing a song, AT HER OWN WEDDING.

Man Brooklyn 99 is just different.

Brooklyn 99 Halloween Heist, we all know the winners up till S07 right? But do you realize that the real Champion is Amy. Let me explain.

S01, Jake had the whole team to help him- Charles, Amy, Rosa, Terry.

S02, Capt. had planned it all a year ago and had Amy, Rosa, Terry, Hitchcock and Scully to help him. (Gonna skip S03 to explain it later)

S04, Gina planned it all 3 weeks ago.

S05, No one won.

S06, Terry too planned it all before and had Cheddar's help and even hired actors.

S07, Rosa too planned it all before and also had Cheddar's help.

But S03, Amy planned it AFTER the heist started. Like can you imagine?! Also, she took only Hitchcock's help who's IQ i believe is lower than Cheddar's. Not to forget, both Jake and Capt. had been planning it for a long time.

So you tell me who's the real Amazing Human/ Genius?

Kudos to B99 for giving us men who knew how to behave and treat women.

I mean look at Charles, that guy liked Rosa so much but when he realized that it wasn't going to happen, he backed off and moved on. And not just this, he always helped her. I mean he helped Rosa text Marcus during beach house episode, he helped plan a great birthday surprise for her in S02 finale, he planned and cooked the menu for her wedding. And he was her Maid of Honor.

This guy set the bar way too fucking high.

You know what kind of relationship i want?

Brooklyn 99 S02-E17, the one with Boyle-Linetti wedding, when the capt. is struggling with the speech as the wedding minister but one look at his husband and he says the most beautiful words one could've said about a union.

And don't even get me started when he says "it's joy" and the scene cuts to a shot of peraltiago.

I was re-watching Brooklyn 99 (like always) and I just realized something. In S01-E08, the one with Jake's favorite author Jimmy Brogan, Jake gets drunk with Jimmy and then the next day at work, Amy reads out the texts he sent her the previous night.

And I just realized,

Jake texted AMY when he was drunk. Not Gina, his childhood friend. Not Charles, his best bud at work but Amy.
