MONSTERPARTY
I'm about to publish a new comic book containing a couple of my recent 24-hour comics, which is now available for pre-order at Kwimbi!
Above are the cover of the book and a few of my favorite pages from the first story, "In Sickness and in Health".
The second story, "Dinner of Death," is already available online at Tapas.
Since the book is going to be in German, so is this description:
"In Gesundheit und Krankheit" (44 Seiten)
Bei einer Hochzeitsfeier in einem Hotel bricht eine seltsame Krankheit aus. Das Brautpaar und seine Gäste hätten nicht gedacht, dass „bis dass der Tod euch scheidet“ so schnell zum Thema würde...
"Dinner of Death" (20 Seiten)
68 Seiten, Softcover, in Farbe, 14,8 x 21 cm
Alle Ausgaben für Kwimbi werden von Hand signiert!

There's a new (old) meme in town! Everybody on Twitter and Instagram has been posting these lately, and even though I had already made one of these 2-ish years ago, I felt compelled to make a new one, featuring some of my more recent work.

"The Chess Match," my full 6-page from last year's JAZAM! vol. 12 (topic: "game") is now available in English and for free at Tapas. I wrote the story for this one with my talented girlfriend Katja Klengel.

A couple of months ago, I got to illustrate and design the poster for the upcoming (almost completely sold-out!) live tour of PietSmiet, a popular German YouTube channel about gaming. They wanted it to look like an old-timey circus poster and I had fun making this.

I’m finally done with the colors for my new 24HCD comic book! It’s called ‘Monsterparty,' it’s 68 pages long, and it's coming out soon.
Above are two chapter illustrations I made for it.

Inktober is a challenge to draw one ink sketch for every day of October and share them on the web. I decided to participate once again this year and picked "German comic characters" as my topic.
Over the last month, I drew these 31 sketches of characters from German comic classics, mangas, graphic novels, and indie comics.
For the full gallery including comic titles, check out my Facebook album!
I also posted all of them on my Instagram and as a collection at MyComics.de.
Have a look at my INKTOBER 2015 & INKTOBER 2016!

The Radio Nukular live tour is began last week, and in addition to my official tour poster, I got to illustrate some other tour merch.
Firstly, I drew a new poster, an homage to that first Star Wars: Episode I teaser poster (you know, from back when we all thought the movie was gonna be totally awesome).
And then I also made a simplified vector version of my tour poster, which you can get on a t-shirt.

My podcast Dreck & Gold has been on break for a couple of months, but now that there's a new Star Trek show, I just had to reactivate it. Eve Jay & I have already recorded four episodes of "Trek & Gold", in which we discuss the first six installments of Star Trek: Discovery in great depth & detail.
Give it a listen HERE, subscribe on iTunes, and check out our new cover illustration above!

The new "Fuck Yeah 2018" calendars are here! I drew this illustration in collaboration with Sascha Gallion (top part: him, bottom part: me).
"Fuck Yeah 2018" is a weekly calendar with illustrations by 60+ German comic artists and illustrators. The cover is by Sarah Stowasser and the whole project was organized by Schlogger. You can order them now at KWIMBI. I don't have any extra copies this year, but lots of the other artists do. Tell them if you want one!

These are some illustrations I drew for a magazine last year that didn't end up being used in this form.
As you may be able to tell, they’re supposed to be anthropomorphized versions of the Berlin (Tegel) and Munich (Franz-Josef Strauß) airports.
I've also added these to my recently-expanded Behance portfolio. Have a look!

The guys from popular German 80s/90s nostalgia podcast Radio Nukular recently asked me to design/illustrate their new tour poster. It's inspired by old Bud Spencer/Terence Hill movie posters and was a lot of fun to do!

I drew this t-shirt illustration for popular German nostalgia podcast Radio Nukular. It shows the three hosts of the show and some of the pop culture figures they regularly make fun of. Do you recognize them all?
Order this shirt right here!
