a gift
It was a day as any other when Vrana was paid a visit by two unholy messengers. The message they caried? A single chunk of glistening amber, as radiant as the she-wolf's own eyes. Who was the sender and why she was even graced with such an object the dark couriers did not say, the only words that left their beaks were: "Gift! A gift for you!" Vrana regarded the stone in silence, puzzled. Who on this earth would ever think of sending her pretty gifts? Well, one particular wolf came to mind, but could it really be..?

The mountain range Vrana and her family inhabit is generously dotted with small to medium sized lakes, the so called "mountain eyes". Given the fact that the temperature regularly drops bellow freezing point all year round, the icy cold waters are perfect for preserving uneaten prey for long periods of time. Only problem is, not much can be done to get the prey OUT of the water once the harsh winters come around, and the lakes turn solid as rock.

If it’s alright to ask- which brushes did you use on that bearded vulture portrait? The textures are gorgeous!!
Hello! I used the T-marker Wind Brush Set to put down some base colors and the Brown Sugar Brush for the details, as well as the Watercolor marker set for the background
