🌕 THE FEMALE ARCHETYPES OF EACH FULL MOON : 24/06
Tumblr media
✨ JUNE - THE GREAT GODDESS
• The Great Goddess is the one who originally prefigures the others. Long considered a minor figure in ancestral European cults, it has been discovered since the work of the archaeologist Marija Gimbutas that she was the cosmogonic representation of woman as the origin of the world and the embodiment of the cycle of life in its capacity to regenerate and renew itself constantly. Her cult took hold during the Neolithic period. These archaeomythological studies have shown the existence of a matriarchal religion that spread throughout Europe and lasted until the 3rd-4th century BC. Its influence diminished with the arrival of writing and the Indo-European invasions. These peoples imposed their pantheon of male gods, upsetting the matrilineal order of European agrarian societies. The presence of the cult of the Great Goddess does not imply that the social order was matriarchal, but attests to a balance between male and female powers: at the head of these so-called 'Gylanic' communities were queens, female clan leaders and priestesses.
Associated with themes and motifs reminiscent of lunar symbolism, the Mother Goddess represents 'regeneration'. She embodies the cycle of life, death and rebirth, and is represented by maternal and sexual attributes, opulent buttocks and breasts, symbols of fecundity, magic and procreation, such as the Palaeolithic Venuses of Laussel, Lespugue or Willendorf. She is associated with animals such as the ram, the bear, the deer and the element of water, source of life. She is also found as a bird goddess, with beak and wings but also with the eyes of a nocturnal bird of prey. The symbols V and M, initially considered as decorative motifs, refer in reality to the woman, the V being the representation of the vulva, the M representing fertile water linked to sexuality and maternity. In the same way, the widespread representation of the snake goddess is also a figure of this Great Goddess.
• THE GODDESS OF RADIANT FEMINITY : There is something profoundly moving about connecting to the power of this Mother Goddess as she carries within her the origin of humanity and the essence of feminity. In this month of exteriorisation and self-searching, let us reconnect with our capacity to regenerate and create.
By praying to her, we create bridges between the cycles of Nature and our own, between telluric and cosmic energies. By entrusting our intentions to her, we address the entire universe. Let us transcend time and space and, like the first women in their cave, paint our faces red, the colour of blood, as a sign of unity. Let us walk with this ancestral figure of the sacred feminine and be proud to be the new representatives of this divine and wild lineage. Daughters of the Great Goddess, we are all powerful.

ranking 🤫
1- breaking dawn 2 (5)
2- eclipse (3)
3- new moon (2)
4- twilight (1)
5- breaking dawn 1 (4)
synopsis : When Bella Swan moves to a small town in the Pacific Northwest, she falls in love with Edward Cullen, a mysterious classmate who reveals himself to be a 108-year-old vampire.
🤔okay so believe or not this was the first time i watched twilight. and i kinda binge watched it cause i literally watched to five films within 26hours (my besties forced me when i was with them😡😡). so obviously this is not the best thing i’ve seen (cinematographically speaking) cause the special effects was really bad for vampires (tho really great for the wolves) BUT i understand the hype and i know for a fact that if i had watched this in my early teen i would have loved it better than i did watching it at 19. this story’s really cool i think i’d really enjoy the books, i might read them some day. and i really love the cast (even tho the acting wasn’t really their best in this saga huh....) anyway i cried really hard in the fifth i thought i would die 🤔

The astrology of dance 💃💋
As someone who loves dancing and has been doing it since i was a child (sun conj venus in the 5h), i've always been intrigued by what in dancers' chart indicates dancing abilities.
I gathered 20 of the most famous dancers across centuries by going through reputable articles (no tiktok dancers lmao) and looked into the signs in their personal planets with a focus on venus/mars aspects since venus is about art and mars is about the body/energy. It took me hours to select the dancers, look up their chart, write down the aspects/signs then do the analysis (my scorpio 5h pulled me through it so if you copy my work, i'll hex).
Also THIS IS CORRELATION AND NOT CAUSATION. You can have none of these placements and still be an awesome dancer and you can have them all and not be that good of a dancer. Please keep that in mind and don't let this stop you from doing what you want. Anyone can dance. When there is will, there is way.
💃🕺 The dancers are : anna pavlova, micheal jackson, fred astaire, martha graham, misty copeland, maddie ziegler, vaslav nijinsky, mikhail baryshnikov, maria tallchief, shakira, maurice béjart, marie-claude pietragalla, rudolf nureyev, benjamin millepied, patrick dupond, sergei polunin, alicia markova, margot fonteyn, isadora duncan and ginger rogers.
* Also keep in mind birthtime accuracy is usually poor so I couldn't look at houses and rising signs. Aspects are major only (trine/sextile/conjunction/square/opposition).
Let's get into iittt!
Tumblr media
MARS 🏃‍♀️
Mars is all about energy, drive, motivation and is also representative of one's body and how one moves it. It is imperative to study it carefully to see what pattern jumps out among our sample of dancers.
MARS signs are : Cap, taurus, Leo, Pisces, Scorpio, virgo, Aries, virgo,Aries, Cap, taurus, Leo, taurus, Taurus, Gem, Scorpio, scorpio, Taurus, aqua, taurus.
DOMINANT MARS MODALITY : FIXED
The most dominant modality is fixed, which can make sense : whereas cardinal mars enjoys STARTING endeavors but doesn't necessarily stick to it and mutable mars is interested in SO many endeavors and can quickly move from one thing to the next, searching for the next best thing and having their energy impacted by their peers. Fixed mars sticks to the projects it starts and refuses to back away until it's done and perfected. Dance is the perfect example of that : it requires patience and practice, rehearsing a move over and over again.
DOMINANT MARS ELEMENT : EARTH
This can be a shock to many but earth was the element that kept showing up in dancers charts, not creative intuitive water, innovative changeable air or energetic ambitious fire. This goes to show earth is just as creative and possesses potential to excel in arts as much as the rest. Earth gives stability and grounds, plus, air is more mental and fire can give lots of energy that might not be properly channeled and end up being disorganized. Earth is sensual, there is a reason mars is exalted in an earth sign, combining energy with body and what is physical and material.
MOST DOMINANT MARS SIGN : TAURUS
With everything i said earlier, what better sign combines being fixed and sensual? Taurus. It's also ruled by Venus that loves arts, pleasure and leisure.
DATA
12/20 are fixed (60%) and half of them are TAURUS only (30%)
10/20 are earth (50%)
Fire/water are present equally and represent 4/20 (1 out of 5 or 20% is either fire or water mars)
Mutable and cardinal are also present equally 4/20 (1 out of 5 or 20% is either mutable or cardinal mars)
Air is the least dominant element with only 2/20 being air mars (1%)
MOST COMMON MARS ASPECTS
Stopping at the aspects that show up just 20% of the time.
Tumblr media
1. Mars - Chiron (seen half the time so 50% )
Mars-chiron was almost consistent in all studied charts. Chiron, symbolizing one's wound but also where you heal others, means healing others through the body, the latter being put through pain. Dance, as elegant as it seems on stage, is the fruit of weeks, if not months, of consistent effort, sweat being poured, cramps all over muscles, synchronizing and practicing until you run out of breath. All this bodily pain turns into something beautiful, majestic, therapeutic and healing. You heal when you see beauty, you momentarily forget whatever is plaguing your mind and let yourself be raptured in the moment, tucked away in a bubble of bliss, drawing satisfaction from watching every beat being hit.
2. Mars- Uranus (seen almost half the time 9/20 so 45% )
Mars, being touched by the genius of Uranus, creates shocking moves. Moving one's body in a way that draws attention, being ahead of one's time with the introduction of ground-breaking new moves to the era's popular routines. Moving in alien fashion. Unexpected steps.
3. Mars - Pluto (seen 7/20 of the time so 35% )
Pluto intensifies what it touches, and can make you obsessed with it. It adds power and influence. Moreover, pluto is associated with all that is taboo, so touching mars which signifies the body, can explain why dancers, in some cultures and in the past, are/used to be shamed. Moving provocatively can trigger sexual feelings in both the dancer and the audience, feelings that could have been repressed for so long. It draws out what it carnal and hidden to the surface.
Tumblr media
3. Mars - sun/moon/saturn (seen 5/20 of the time so 25%)
Mars is body and sun/moon/saturn have structure in common, sun structures the identity and self-expression, moon structures the emotional identity and saturn gives structure to all. In addition, Saturn gives resilience, something that anyone who tried learning a routine knows oh so well. It puts you through pain to teach you how to perfect what you're doing, it might delay and frustrates, just so you know the basics and work through restrictions. Mars-sun : one's identity is tied to one's endeavors and body, it can show a knack at sports and dance can in fact be thought of as a form of sports. Mars-moon : a need for movement, finding solace and comfort in it.
4. Mars - Jupiter (seen 4/20 of the time so 20%)
Whatever jupiter touches expands, it gives wisdom and luck. Mars-jupiter can be optimistic about the way they move and what they do. A much needed optimism to pull through the hurdles and move in a bigger-than-life fashion. Moving abundantly and feeling wealthy in it. Having a reservoir of energy to tap into.
VENUS 🍭
Arts and beauty, dance embodies Venus' principle all too well. Dance is also prominent in social settings and a way to let our inner social butterfly flutter its wings (clubs, weddings, parties and the like).
VENUS signs : Aries, leo, Aries, Aries, virgo, Scorpio, Taurus, pisces, Cap, Aries, Cap, Sag, Aries, taurus, aries, Cap, Sag, Cancer, Gem, Virgo.
MOST DOMINANT VENUS MODALITY : CARDINAL
The most dominant modality is cardinal, not being afraid of starting what you are interested in. Leading and taking a step (pun intended) towards what gives you joy and what you find beautiful.
Tumblr media
MOST DOMINANT VENUS ELEMENT :FIRE
Fire is ambition, drive and energy. Having a fire venus is being passionate about your interests and your creative hobbies. A passion that is strong enough to test your boundaries and outdo yourself. Being energetic and fiery when it comes to pleasure and leisure activity.
Earth comes next with 7/20 of the dancers having an earth venus.
MOST DOMINANT VENUS SIGN : ARIES
Aries combines enthusiastic fire and leading cardinal. It makes you passionate and have the potential to lead and be, in a sense, a warrior when it comes to what gives you joy.
DATA
Fire is seen 10/20 so in half the sample
Cardinal is also witnessed 10/20 of the time
Earth is seen 7/20 of the time
A mix of the rest of elements/modalities.
Tumblr media
MOST DOMINANT VENUS ASPECTS
Stopping at the aspects that only show up 20% of the time.
1. Venus - jupiter (seen 8/20 of the time so 40%)
Just like mars, jupiter is favorable when it comes to the universe of dance. It inflates and gives meaning, it makes you optimistic and expands the significance of what it touches. So venus-jupiter can indulge and immerse themselves in what venus stands for, for dance, arts, beauty, pleasure. It can make you greedy to do more and more regarding to this.
2. Venus - moon/mars (seen 7/20 of the time so 35% )
Feeling nurtured when tending to Venus matters, venus-moon dancers can find comfort in all forms of arts or grew up in an environment that is heavily venusian, thus exposing them to dance from a young age. Their moms could have been venusian and inspired them to take this path. Venus-mars reflects acting out beauty and arts through the body.
3. Venus - chiron/mercury/pluto (seen 6/20 of the time so 30%)
Venus-chiron : feeling pain but also healing others through your artistic interests. Others may doubt your abilities and cause you anguish and get you to doubt yourself and teeter on the verge of giving up. Especially when it's a hobby that isn't seen as traditionally lucrative as dance. Venus-mercury : thinking about Venusian matters, communicating in a beautiful fashion. Venus - pluto : being obsessed about hobbies and arts, doing it intensely with no black or white areas.
4. Venus - Saturn (seen 5/20 of the time so 25%)
The need to structure the hobbies, a practical approach to going about them and perfecting them, hobbies that resist the test of time and can last a lifetime, being resilient and unwilling to back down when it comes to dance.
5. Venus - Uranus (seen 4/20 of the time so 20%)
Revolutionary dance, shocking, trail-blazing. Paving the way to the newer generations of dancers, quirky and unique. Standing out of the crowd in social situations.

“According to Buddhism, the root of suffering is neither the feeling of pain nor of sadness nor even of meaninglessness. Rather, the real root of suffering is this never-ending and pointless pursuit of ephemeral feelings, which causes us to be in a constant state of tension, restlessness, and dissatisfaction. Due to this pursuit, the mind is never satisfied. Even when experiencing pleasure, it is not content, because it fears this feeling might soon disappear and craves that this feeling should stay and intensify. People are liberated from suffering not when they experience this or that fleeting pleasure, but rather when they understand the impermanent nature of all their feelings and stop craving them. This is the aim of Buddhist meditation practices.”

🌕 THE FEMALE ARCHETYPES OF EACH FULL MOON : 26/05
Tumblr media
✨ MAY - CHANG’É
“the woman conscious of her actions”
• Goddess of the Moon in Chinese culture, Chang’é is one of the most beloved characters and still generates a powerful devotion. In Taoist spirituality, she is the incarnation of the feminine principle, the absolute Yin. The myth of Chang’é has several versions, but they all are linked with immortality and the lunar star, of which she is inseparable. Separated from men, Chang’é watches over them. Her story begins when her husband Hou Yi, a celestial archer, saves the Earth, which has been drained by 10 Suns. As a reward, he is offered a drink of immortality, which Chang’é discovers and drinks in one go, not knowing what it contains = the more she swallows the magic filter, the more she flies up to the sky until she finds herself on the Moon. She settles there and discovers a jade hare, an herbalist, with whom she makes medicinal potions. In some stories Chang’é consciously drinks the immortal beverage and is banished to the Moon. In others, one of You Hi’s disciples tries to steal it and Chang’é has no choice but to swallow it and flee to the Moon.
• THE GODDESS OF SELF-AWARENESS : Chang’é learnt the lesson of her adventure. She had to leave everything to pay the price of her transgression, she now knows that each act can cost in a lifetime. In the light of her story, let us also become aware of our choices. Let us ask ourselves what the consequences of our decisions may be. Chang’é does not die but is reborn elsewhere, different, thus representing the lunar cycle which continues without end.
Like this goddess, we are capable of being reborn to ourselves. Let us harmonise our lives in consciousness, let us anchor ourselves in the present moment, let us keep our feet on the ground. We know that sometimes it is easier not to face reality, to go to the Moon rather than to face what we have to live. Let us dare to be who we are. Let’s not try to evade, let’s trust, the answers are within us. From this deep inner truth will come harmony and balance. Let us become this complete person, capable of knowing and transforming ourselves.

🍀 COLOUR SYMBOLISM ACCORDING TO CELTIC FOLKLORE #2
🤍 white : white is associated with the OtherWorld and the magic of the Sìdhes, who often take the appearance of white animals or adorn themselves with white flowers. For the Celts, white is the colour of the priestly class, worn by the high hierarchy of the Druids. Note that through its Celtic etymologies, “gwen” in Welsh or “gwenn” in Breton, it designated both the colour appreciated by the Seelies and the Aes Sìdhes.
🖤 black : black is the colour of occult initiation, of mysteries. It is associated with ancestors and death, which precedes metamorphosis. Moreover, in alchemy, the “passage to black” (or “work in black”) is the first phase of the Great Work (the realization of the Philosopher’s Stone), that of dissolution and decomposition, preceding the “passage to white” (or “work in white”). For the Celts, black is the colour of priestesses, as can be seen from the outfits of the “Virgins of Sein Island”, black-robed druidesses who renounced carnal union in favour of magic.

🍀 COLOUR SYMBOLISM ACCORDING TO CELTIC FOLKLORE #1
❤️ red : it is the Unseelies’ favourite colour. According to British folklore, many of the creatures associated with the autumn courtship wear red clothes, such as the Irish Far Darrig meaning “red men”, as sort of mischievous “fairies”, or the Redcap of English folklore who live in ruins and castles near the Anglo-Scottish border. Red is the symbol of life & death (a colour reminiscent of blood) but also fire, which can be associated with war magic. Red is also the colour of the yew berries, representative of the god-druid, the Dagda, in Celtic mythology. Ovate druids (a druidic hierarchy of nature interpreters, usually diviners and doctors) wore red in this sense. Red is also the representative colour of Donn horses.
💚 green : it is the colour of fairy queens (and kings!), often referred to as “Dames Vertes” in France, as well as of Seelie creatures. For the Celts, it is the colour of lush nature and ancestral lands. Green is therefore in this sense the colour of abundance (of the Earth) and wealth (material and immaterial), but also associated with the animal part that lies dormant in us through the representations of the Wild Man.

🌑 CRYSTALS AND NEW MOON
Tumblr media
Throughout the year, the sky offer us the opportunity to start a new cycle, to make something concreate or to begin a transformation. Indeed, a New Moon occurs each month in 1 of the 12 astrological signs and all of them have intrinsic qualities that we can connect to in a vibrational way, using of course, the appropriate crystals.
🤍 the New Moon is the meeting of the Moon (our unconscious) and the Sun (our conscious) on the same degree in the zodiac wheel 🤍
By choosing the right crystals in relation to the 12 signs of the zodiac, you can use each New Moon as a time for growth. You can do it in 2 ways =
• by having a concrete goal that you work on throughout the year
• by using each New Moon as a means of optimisation.
The most important thing is to write your wishes and make your affirmations according to your goal. Then you choose how you want to work with your crystals.. you can wear them, make a crystal grid or an elixir or even use all 3 at the same time.
• you make your intention clear at the time of the New Moon
• you make your crystal grid and activate it
• you wear the crystals associated with the New Moon sign during the month
• you have your magic water elixir at all times
• you take concrete actions according to the sign of the month
☝🏻CAREFUL ! Some very sensitive people may not feel comfortable wearing crystals for an entire month that do not have a natural affinity with them !
For example, during a New Moon in Libra, an Aries person may feel reluctant to wear a Libra stone. Why would this be? Because Aries go straight to the point whereas Libra prioritizes harmony and pleasing.
The ideal would be to create a grid of “Libra” type crystals and to activate it, but to wear the stones of its own quintessence. In this way, the essence of the Aries person is not distorted, but they consciously uses the crystals that possess the qualities of that month’s New Moon sign.

✨ APRIL - CYBELE
“the instinctive woman”
• Mother of Gods, embodying nature at its wildest, Cybele is the archetype of the all powerful goddess. With roots in the ancient Near East, her cult spread to Greece and Rome, where her aura of power and violence remained intact. Raised by lions, represented by wild animals, she fascinates and becomes the objects of numerous cults with violent mysteries.
The ritual celebrations around Cybele were marked by blood, that of the bull with which her disciples were baptized and, in the spring, that of the ceremonies of castration of young men, because only eunuchs had the right to serve her. She herself was born a hermaphrodite from the seed of Zeus, gods choosing to remove her male part by castrating her to make her reborn a woman. This explains the origin of the violence that characterizes her cult.
• THE WILD GODDESS : Guardian of the wild world, of original nature, of animals and plants, goddess of the mountain and of pine trees, symbols of transcendence, Cybele holds the key that opens the doors of the underground world. She is also linked to music, bequeathing to mankind the art of dance and the instruments whose sounds shake the depths of the earth and resound to free their souls. Let us honor Cybele in this prodigal month of April when nature unfolds, let us contact our instinct, our part of animality which only asks to be reunited with the polite figure of the woman we are showing. Let’s loose our hair, take off our clothes, take our cymbals, let’s re-discover the desire to smell the earth, to shout to the Moon, to drink the water of the rivers.
Cybele, the Mother Goddess, offers us nature on a silver platter. Let us call upon her in our rituals and meditations, let us ask her to offer us the key to this Great Whole, much greater than ourselves, but which we all carry inside, in our sacred womb, the cradle of fertility.

🌕 THE FEMALE ARCHETYPES OF EACH FULL MOON : 28/03
Tumblr media
✨ MARCH - ARTEMIS
“the independent & free woman”
• Greek goddess of hunt, Artemis is one of the main lunar goddesses. Together with Hecate, the darkest lunar goddess, and Selene, who represents the Moon in its fullest glory, they form the three faces of the lunar woman. Artemis is linked to the wild world, from which she draws a strength and dynamism.
As a virgin goddess, she watches over childbirth, young children and especially young girls. She symbolizes movement, action, freedom and indomitable spirit.  Because of this indomitable spirit she’s often associated with the Amazon’s, whose attributes she shares : the bow & arrow.
She is represented as young, athletic, with a crescent moon on her forehead. She is the goddess of initiations. The Jungian psychoanalyst Jean Shinoda Bolen describes her as a guide to the sacred feminine, embodying the emergence in feminist thought of the committed and activist woman.
• THE FIGHTING GODDESS : let’s not forget that “Mars” is named after a warrior god. This is why the energies of this month ask us to reveal our potential as fighting women. Just as young shoots in spring must break through the still cold earth to rise to the sky, no other goddess better personifies this fiery energy, vigor and desire for life. Like her, let’s dare to become this powerful, strong willed, solitary bear-woman, linked to the earth, to the cycle of nature, to courage and to the strength to fight in adversity. This goddess is characterized by the need for sisterhood and by a concern for equality in relationships with men. Artemis and Apollo, whose twin she is, represent the two sides of the same coin = the Moon & the Sun.
2 energies that we also carry within us and which we can us to become this woman who is both conquering and delicate.
Let’s ally ourselves with Artemis by invoking her during our rituals or meditations. She will know how to guide our impulses and balance our masculine and feminine energies. Thanks to her, let’s awaken the ancestral wisdom that was hiding in us, let’s strengthen our will and let’s cultivate our independence.
