Hi! Hello! Good morning on this ridiculously early Sunday morning, but today is a bit of a special day.

On this date last year I started watching The Last Kingdom, because I was incredibly bored one evening. That also means that it's exactly one year ago that I saw a specific photo of Sihtric that made me fall in love with him right away before even seeing him on the show (posting an edit of that pic later!). I binged season 1 within two days, and two days later I was fully introduced to the man this page is all about.

And what a ride it has been! From starting to read and write fics for the first time in my life, to making friendships online that will last forever and to meeting Arnas twice and having somewhat of a friendly contact every now and then; it's all still really fucking absurd to me and I can't grasp half of it to be honest.

I started this page last year on April 1st (I know, it's a great joke when you think about it), so that day is maybe even more special, but I genuinely thought I would've abandoned this place by now already. Do I still feel like an outsider in this fandom? I totally do, but then I always feel like that so that's not weird for me. Hello again kaisooists 🐧🐻 Little ole me has stumbled across something interesting 👀

Remember back on April 1st in 2016 when the news broke that ji and krys were dating and chahn yall posted this really odd and cryptic “headline” on his Instagram?

This randomly popped into my head the other day now that I’ve been missing kadi and thinking about them lately.

I remember at the time it was posted, everyone in the kaisoo tag was trying to decipher what he meant, if it was supposed to be an April fools joke or if it had anything to do with the dating news. If I remember correctly he’d posted it either right before or shortly after the news broke and was confirmed by Es Em.

So I decided to go over to chahn yall’s insta again to see what the comments on the post were bc it’s been so long and I was curious if anyone wrote any kaisoo related under it. But when I went to look for it, I noticed that it had either been archived or deleted.

I screen recorded for proof, the right side is hidden for privacy due to some ppl’s insta screen names being visible since I follow him. The dates of the post are magnified on the left side:

I can definitively say that it had been left up on his Instagram for months after kxk and I believe even up til they “broke up” but I’m not sure when or why it was removed.

Something that was also peculiar to me is that besides that screenshot from the tumblr above, it was INCREDIBLY difficult for me to find this post anywhere on the internet. Even chahn yall bias pages that repost his Instagram posts did not have this post anywhere to be found.

I searched for 20 minutes and was only able to find this screenshot here on tumblr and on a random Russian page:

There’s two things I want to mention here.

First I will explain the picture a bit more for those of you who may not know.

The mosaic picture in chahn y’all’s post is of KS in his role as Kang Woo for the drama “It’s Okay That’s Love”. In this drama, the main character Jae Yeol (played by Jo Insung) suffers from undiagnosed schizophrenia and befriends Kang Woo. But as his illness worsens it’s revealed that Kang Woo is not real and is a hallucination, representing Jae Yeol’s younger self. When Jae Yeol begins treatment, Kang Woo doesn’t appear to Jae Yeol anymore .

I don’t speak Korean but I think the correct translation of the headline title in the post would be “Actually, I’m hallucinating” indicating that he’s the one hallucinating and not Jae Yeol. Since his role in the drama was him as a hallucination it wouldn’t make sense to admit to being a hallucination.

At the time I initially thought “okay, maybe it’s some sort of lighthearted April fools joke and a playful jab and ks”. But as I thought about it, the joke didn’t really make much sense bc we already know after watching the drama that ks isn’t the one who was hallucinating.

Then after reading theories and thinking about it more, I thought it was weird to post that on the same day the kxk news came out. Which leads me to my second point: I do think it has something to do with kxk and here’s why.

As we all know egg sew had a concert that day, secret night. When the pictures came out ji looked like he’d been up crying all day and ks appeared to have tears in his eyes. They also were super awkward with each other and it seemed like ji looked apologetic about something and ks wouldn’t look at him. This was after a long period of not really interacting or showing skinship and of course all those pann and dispatch gay couple blind items disappearing.

So it made me think more about the insta post, how he said that actor D admits “actually, I’m hallucinating.” We all know that ks and chahn yall have a close friendship, and it seemed like the kxk scandal caught both ks and ji off guard, almost like they both found out this media play was happening on the same day, hours before the news went out. Was this post supposed to be a hint at ks’s feelings about the news breaking? Did kxk come as a surprise to him and make him feel like the entire relationship between him and ji was actually what wasn’t real to everyone else now, aka a hallucination?

It might be a reach, but I can’t think of any other reason behind why chahn yall would delete/archive that specific post but not any of the other ones. Unless you’re a kaisoo supporter the joke would seem to have no relation to the kxk scandal, so it’s really suspicious that it disappeared.

I also can’t say for sure, but I also wonder if SM has something to do with it being gone and almost no trace of it online or on fan archives. I noticed that after the kxk “break up” kaisoo went back to their own ways, but little by little different kadi blogs were deactivating and some fansites were disappearing abruptly. I’m talking hardcore kaisoo blogs and fansites that I would have never imagined would disappear (cuddlekaisoo, alvabear, kaiser-dolly, 8812 just for example, some of their posts are even hard to find here on tumblr). To this day I still am seeing things like “so-and-so-deactivated09122018” here on tumblr throughout the tag thinking to myself like “omg, this person was a super big kaisoo supporter and they deactivated? I would have never imagined..” 😶

Of course things happen, ppl move onto other things and maybe the second scandal with jinnie has something to do with it too, but it’s all just very odd to me. I’d love to know other ppl’s opinions about this too if you’re interested!🩷

Yes, I do believe the rumor that T is on Raya. Many celebrities and adjacent are on there. The real questions is, is T active on here? Raya is notorious for making it difficult to delete your profile and takes privacy very seriously. Screenshots are not allowed or get flagged so there’s no way to really prove he’s active. Maybe he has a profile from years ago and doesn’t use it, maybe he does…hard to know.

With T. Holland, I think he was being petty and spiteful by liking ig models, he knew how it looked and knew Z would see it. And Z in return went publicly with J. Elordi. Their first break up was very messy and they both seemed hurt but got back together stronger because of it.

It sucks but a lot of men simply don’t care or don’t see an issue with liking model pics. Men are visual creatures so seeing a hot model, they simply like the pic and move on. Zero thought behind it sometimes.

T is very serious about his craft but he’s still a man lol. He’ll probably start being more careful about his likes going forward.

Wow. Alrighty. I've been putting off posting this so I could get a few pieces drawn so I can post consistently. Here is my miraculous ladybug / the mummy au! I love that movie and as I watched the 4th season of ladybug with my sis, I kept thinking of slight similarities. Obviously it doesn't fit perfectly, but I'm sharing some of my ideas! 1st one! I thought Lila would fit as Anck su Namun for her slyness and rivalry with Evelyn whom I will be portraying as Marinette. For her character design I merged the body paint and lila's fox outfit, adding ears, and a hip wrap that flows out like a tail. In my idea of this au, Lila serves as an underling of the mummy/hawk moth. I will be flipping between Lila and Emelie or possibly Nathalie depending on what scenes I choose. I hope you like this! I honestly am so proud of how this piece turned out

ALRIGHT WHILE I AM NEVER GOING TO BE ABLE TO RETYPE MY THOUGHTS I JUST LOST HERS MY LLSHORT OF IT

I love the owl house so much and that finale was just amazing. Sure it wasn't perfect but it was damn good even without considering the MASSIVE type cuts. It was just so good and satisfying and AGHHHH I LOVED IT!!!! This show means so much to me!!!! So of course I had to draw my favorite character and the main character herself. But I decided to draw her epilogue design bc I love it so much. Luz means so much to me and is just so relatable. Before I started watching and had no context I thought I'd relate to amity cause I too was a baby gay with a crush I didn't know what to do with. But then I watched the show and wow. Luz hit me so hard, harder than any character has before. I've never related to any character more and that just became more true as the show went on. Especially later when she clearly is suffering from depression that really hit me since I was going through the same dark space. I related to hard to how her depression completely changed her from the peppy and bubbly kid she was. But to see the epilogue where Luz is now the same age as me and happy and even though her problems did change her so much she's ok? That just really gives me hope.

Now onto the drawing, I just had to draw her epilogue design bc wow thats like my favorite ending credits ever?!?! And her design is just a home run in the epilogue especially her keeping those lil lashes!!! I threw in my headcanons like the genderfluid pin, the multiple pins themselves (Luz is a pin and sticker hoarder argue with the wall) and the toof!!! She should definitely keep the lil fang I love it. Also I gave her slightly more purple hair, the fang and glowing eyes as remnants of her titan form. I like the idea that maybe the 1st night back to normal at her moms house she goes down to get a midnight snack and camila thinks she's one of the boiling isles kids bc of her glowing eyes(which I headcanon witches and demons all have) and luz is like???? It's luz not one of the others??? And my eyes aren't glowing??? And camila just grabs her and puts her in front of a mirror to show yes they very much are. Who knows I may make a comic

I really loved the finale it was just so good and emotional. If you wanna get my thoughts in a more haphazard form my instagram post has that lol. More reaction. And I may post my thoughts I WOULD HAVE HAD HERE in different posts eventually who knows. But yeah I realized I should really start posting here. Procrastination + imposter syndrome is a hell of a combo. But yeah im here now! I also have an insta by the same name(just with underscores) and soon to have a portfolio site(stay tuned muhahaha)

Purpose of this acc (plus a bit of an introduction)

Hello fellow reader or writer or poet or human, I’m Lux (that’s my pen name). I’m making this acc for a rlly cool idea I found on pinterest and that was to write a diary entry but rlly dramatized like the scene of a book. And to do that every day. So from now on I will use this app that I think was made to blog with these funny tags that make sentences to write my dramatized diary entries. They will probably be mostly fake, so dw if I write sm that sounds like an insane person wrote it, saying they see ghosts or smth. I will also write some random thoughts in here bc it’s fun and that way it feels more like a blog to me.

Now that you know what the inspiration was, why do I need a whole acc for it? Bc I JUST CANT WRITE A DIARY ENTRY EVERY SINGLE DAY. So I will use the internet to put some pressure on me. Thank you for being part of this.

5. Laid Back Camp Movie  Some great anime in the past 3 months.  So much has happened in the past year. Or maybe not so much, things were getting so repetitious that the monotony may have made me ill.  Just as how I’d used to go through anime in the past. If there’s a nice ad, I pick it up, keep a look out. When it airs, I may follow. 

When a new season start, I do a quick run through the titles, cover art, trailer, synopsis. There’s no specific number, no specific, but I’ll be watching a number of them, at least 1st to 3rd episode. And drop some along the way.  Just found out lately there’s a genre by the name of “Iyashikei”  癒し系, a sub-genre of “slice of life” genre. And that’s one genre that I really like. But also, not quite a genre I would watch while it is still airing.  Couple more anime that was not bad, but I’ve dropped along the way. I may go back to it if there is more time at hands.  1. Koukyuu no Karasu (Raven in the Inner Palace) 2. Bibliophile Princess 3. Chainsaw Man  Ok. To be fair. I dropped chainsaw man partly cause my brother told me the ending already. And maybe I am thankful for that, since I really don’t have as much time on hand.  I came back to a blog (instead of insta) largely due to the dichotomy of my work life, and my private life. 

Having work colleagues on my instagram isn’t exactly the most fun. While my thoughts are alright, perhaps people wouldn’t care at all when I was studying overseas. But I just feel so immensely judged when back home. 

So I’m here looking for a space to express. Haha. But I may work on that spare Insta account too. After all, it’s much quicker to look through the thumbnail photo on instagram to know which anime/ series/ movie/ books I’ve watched and liked.  And the original instagram? I don’t know. That’ll be my submarine tank stalking other people. LOL

~The best tip for making choreography is interpreting the lyrics! If you study the moves that fit the lyrics, it'll work out well! It's like sign language!!

~Among the youngest members, I think Minseo is the cutest I think Minseo is loved a lot and knows how to be full of love!

~When I was choreographing, I was worried about whether to choreograph in my own way or not, but first of all, I did a lot of research according to my style! After joining Wedem, I'm learning a lot about how to weave well.

~Insun likes to tease Dophan the most and I live to make fun of Kyungnam.

~Haesung and I was more awkward! We have totally different personality but we solved a lot at MT.

SO FRIDAY EVENTS HAPPENED-

Ok so..I started school on Thursday and it was ok. LETS GO TO THE MAIN TOPIC!

So Friday, it had ups and downs and I shall go in order of how that whole day, changed my sophomore year..

Early morning during 1st pd

All of my friends were either wearing camo or green. This is one of those days where we just show up in the same color/clothing. This is the 2nd time that happened [freshmen year we were all wearing black] and none of us planned it. So all you could see that morning was a table with camo, green, blue, white, and black clothing.

Skipping most of the day to 6th-9th pd

Earlier in the summer, after mcc 24, I heard a rumor saying "Dream won't be in the next MCC". And call me a dream stan all you want, I didn't believe it. In 6th pd Art class, my art teacher said, "Draw a happy event that happened this summer." I wanted to do a split of Dream reaching 30 million subscribers and him winning mcc 24. Obviously, I still have to finish it but it will be done.

7th pd Earth Science rolled around, and it was still related to summer. We had to make 2 memorable things on what happened. Me being an angsty kid, I made a grave and said, "I made a grave to be tributes to a youtuber and a flower shop :D".

Everyone was either weirded out or just confused on why I made those...

8th pd English class is where things started tumbling. Once I checked who was on this mcc teams, Dream was not in sight.. I felt my heart cracked, ready to break if something pushed me too hard again. [Explanation: Call me petty, dream stan, biased, whatever. I can't watch anyone besides Dream for mcc. It feels more comfortable knowing I still have a comfort streamer/youtuber around instead of another running their own kingdom above me. I don't have the same excitement while watching someone stream mcc unlike Dream and I really think it's kinda a problem for me. I'll try my best to stop this habit but it may take some time.]

9th pd Geometry class rolled around and I was almost in tears. After hearing Dream not participating in mcc, I was really not in the mood to do any math. What happened after was the teacher would switch our seats in alphabetical order [for attendance purposes] and keep it that way. So not only that I was in back of the class upset about an event coming up, but now I'm farther from my crushes(Daniel and Julyet who are both dating each other).

The water shield was ready to break from my eyes but I held it to the end of the day. Luckily, things started to get better. I was able to head to my cousin's house for the weekend [I'm back home now] and we had alot of fun.

The thing I wanted to talk about in this post [Still happened at my cousin's house]

Sooooooooo...

Around 9:43 pm, maybe later, Me and Daniel were just dming on insta. Then, he sent this:

Now at first I said, "YOU CAN'T JUST ASK THAT QUESTION RANDOMLY!!! AINT NO WAY YOU SAYING THAT BECAUSE YOU'RE BORED! YOU PULLED THAT FROM YOUR ASS!!"

But then, I thought about it.. "Why would he ask me that? Does he like me too? But, he's in love with Julyet. There's no way. Did someone tell him I have a crush on him?? WHAT IF SOMEONE DID???"

I was having a whole panic attack. I didn't want to tell him. But, it felt like if I didn't, the empire state building weighting on my back wouldn't be placed. So, I made up a half lie:

The 'oh' he texted sent shivers down my spine.. Thoughts, voices, racing in my head. "Why does he sound disappointed? Does he actually like me?? Is he upset he took Julyet away from me? Why is he leaving? I think I upsetted him.. Now I fucked up."

I had to tell him..

He needed to know the truth...

I just need to:

Out.

I gave him a distraction about a small, fast, blue and orange car. He was interested. I wanted to get it over with. And so:

At first, I thought he would say, "I'm sorry but.. I don't feel the same.." I was panicking, scared, upset, afraid, all the words to describe this situation..

I didn't know how to feel.

Do I feel good?

Bad?

I was shocked but also numb.

I thought, "What if it's just for tease? He would never.. Maybe it was a mistake. It had to be!"

I don't have the screenshot but he did ask why I liked him besides everyone else. Long story short, this happened:

He's compliments made me feel like I just came back from the worst news in my life and he just..saved me.

I was confused if he liked me or not. So:

So basically you can say we're friends with benefits. Just not sexual kinds. And, I'm glad he had feelings towards me. Sure it's not fully but hey, at least it isn't a no.

And yea! That's my weekend for you all. Did I expect this to go down? No. Do I regret telling him? Also no. Do I plan on telling Julyet about my feelings for her? Probably but, thats another story to stay too.

Exactlyyy I hardly get any access to watch anime, so movies or ovas aren’t things I watch but since they all seem to be compiled in netflix and got a shared acc I’m like “why not?”

NOW THAT YOU MENTIONED DRESSING UP LIKE ZORO- actually I love jewelry/earrings and when I first wanted to get a 2nd piercing on both my ears I was thinking of getting a third but 1) I’m scared of needles 2) was pretty satisfied after getting just a second one, but after looking at zoro I’m slowly rethinking getting that third piercing😶‍🌫️

Definitely, by how slow the 1st season goes I don’t think I would’ve been super interested if I didn’t watch OPLA first, they did a pretty good summary of the most important parts, messages, and characters yet still retaining the main essence of the story (in my humble opinion as someone who wasn’t a long time fan)

Ngl with OPLA luffy captured my heart for being endearing but then zoro appeared and well, I suddenly like green LMAO while watching the 1st season of the anime I still love luffy as (my) a child that should be protected at all costs, but Sanji’s genuine care for others really made me cry and make a spot for him next to Zoro bc that man’s heart is so pure of love. I have yet to see Chopper being introduced but he’s why I decided I should give the anime a try bc I looked at a ss on insta and went “nope, I need to see this, he looks huggable” (also I’m sorry I talk too much 😭)

Before we get started, just FYI, I went back to have a look at the red masked ghost guys gang scene with nuts guy in episode 1, and it’s finally confirmed that it's 100% Kissy Xing, because, now that i've been hearing his laughter for some eps, I can't not recognize it. Actually, he’s not just part of the ghost gang, he’s their boss. :O

Okay, so that is settled.

Let’s move on to episode 7:

Luo Mansion. What is that? Where is that? Who are these people? There's one with a joker grin, and several with weirdly upturned eyebrows and darkened lips. Are they from the ghost gang?

And why is everything red, is this a wedding?

There's a white haired woman with long golden fingernails and she's referred to as tragicomic ghost.

Oh it IS a wedding. Something tells me this might not be a voluntary one... Maybe it's the amount of gagged people in cages who don't look joyful.

Ah, back to more familiar people in familiar circumstances. Baby Zi Shu is drinking alcohol. Now this I recognize.

Ooooh, the kid is there!!! With a-hole-uncle Shen and uncle Zhao. And the kid notices Baby Zi Shu right away, and thinks it's his master. He's better at recognizing people than I am, but he's mislead by Baby Zi Shu's lack of tan and scar. That's a shame. But he clearly misses his daaaaads! Awwwww.

Side note: I cannot stress enough how much I need to focus on not misspelling Baby Zi Shu’s name. I’ve typed Zi Shi, Zu Shi, Zu Shu, Zhu Si, Zhi Shu already... and now I almost typed “Baby Sushi”, because my brain is WEIRD. In case it happens in the future and I miss it, you have been warned. Maybe I should just go with Baby Sushi, because that one would be easiest to remember. I should also change my tumblr handle to “face-blind-and-name-stupid”.

Meh, back to the ghost gang wedding ceremony.

Anyway, so Youyang is 5 lakes, also confirmed by the pleated skirt soldiers around. K, k.

So, pretty heaven's window leader guy wants to get the scoop on the glazed armor situation.

Whoa, did mustache final boss guy just really say glazed armor is just a rumor? Does he think people are stupid? Even I know that it's not. Tsk. He makes Window of Heaven sound like a super power spy agency.

Everybody is after our poor kid. Ooooooooh, Baby Sushi is following the uncles plus kid through the bamboo woods. Nice. He won't let the kid get harmed, I'm sure.

There's a girl kid who looks kind of like TopTap (if you're familiar with Thai TV shows).

She seems nice, but... looks like they're just trying to get our kid out of the way to discuss stuff. Pfff, they always complain about him not knowing stuff, but how is he supposed to when he's constantly left out?

"The martial arts world won't be peaceful anymore" LOL, whut? It hasn't been peaceful from the start of the series. What is 5 lakes final boss guy even trying to say?

:O what? Baby Sushi wants to genuinely leave the kid there and thinks he's safe there?

Oh, he's onto the spy situation and Window of Heaven being involved. Cool, cool.

Wheeeeeeee Kissy Xing is back. Has also been following around. Nice nice.

Ah, the dead guy was from the scorpion gang. And both Baby Sushi and Kissy Xing know. Oh, so Window of Heaven is an assassin organization. Alright, the more you know. Okay!

He's so daring, talking about how everybody is after the glazed armor while wearing a piece of it openly over his clothes. And he keeps hinting at how much he knows about Baby Sushi but never outright says it.

It's always the same with those two. Kissy Xing points out how good a person he is and then flirts with Baby Sushi who then gives him the cold shoulder.

LOL, I love how the subtitles really translate EVERYTHING. A random note of Tofu Pudding, not plot relevant at all, but BAM in your FACE!

(joking aside: I am so grateful for all the subs and translations. Whoever is doing this stuff, you guys will always be my heroes. <3 )

Oh, somebody looked at them, and Baby Sushi recognized him? And Kissy Xing is like a marching band, stomping onto the scene, parading around with banners that say "Look at this glazed armor!" lol.

Ooooooh, Kissy Xing is in cahoots with the merchant lady. He's planned something. This is exciting. Seems like he's trying to set all parties up against each other: 5 lakes, scorpions, window of heaven and whoever else wants to participate.

Okay, so he let that spy guy steal his piece of glass on purpose, right? And it must be one of the fakes, I assume.

Oh, the heroes conference... I remember the name, but what was that again? Was it a 5 lakes thing? Anyway, Baby Sushi and Kissy Xing are gonna be there on uncle Zhao's invitation, alright.

See, when Kissy Xing calls the kid dumb, it kinda doesn't feel offensive to me. I don't know. It just doesn't. It's like somebody affectionately calling their pet dumb or something.

There's some morse code thing going on with lots of people that I don't know. Everybody's drumming on stuff and passing along messages.

There's a bunch of drunk guys and they're requesting the traditional DJ guy to put on some song that probably has explicit content or something, because he doesn't wanna play it.

LOL, they're having this awkward conversation about double standards for guys and girls, and my Purple Queen is not having it. She is the best.

Not gonna lie, every time the series cuts back to smirklord, I get all excited.

Ok, Baby Sushi places some... nut or whatever on his chopsticks obviously some code, Kissy Xing watches and looks confused. Oh, and he almost gave away that he doesn't understand the code.

LOL, what is happening? Kissy Xing looks so pissed at my Purple Queen making friends with her fanboy.

Seriously, does he have some sort of beef with fanboy guy? LOL, won't even let the poor guy finish his meal. A+ in cockblocking.

Awwwww, and my Queen still gets it. Pinpointing smirklord in one sentence. Baby Sushi brings out Kissy Xing's humanity. And now he looks sad. It must be true.

Ahaha, "I will pay. A Xu, where is your wallet?" Comedic genius.

Oh, what a clever way to bring the subject to the "thief" guy. Man, Kissy Xing is GOOOOOOD at this. And Baby Sushi is so amused that he admits to knowing thief guy too.

My queen doesn't recognize Baby Sushi. Whaaaaat? I would have expected her to feel the sparks. Oh, wait, no, she does get it. Hehe. And Kissy Xing instantly has to praise his crush's appearance and beauty. Everything's alright again in the world.

LOL, the way she goes right in to touch him. No inhibition. No etiquette. And Baby Sushi is so surprised that he lets her, lol.

Ahaha, Kissy Xing has to stop her from touching his baby. Awww

XD, I can't deal with this. He even flat out asks why he's not allowed to touch.

And Baby Sushi replies with a compliment to my Queen and a rebuff for Kissy Xing. It's funny, but I do feel a little bad for Kissy Xing. He did not deserve that.

LOL, waiter guy wins quote of the day, "Can you all pay first? Then you can touch whomever you want, however you want." This episode is gold, man. Also, I'm all for the touching. Yes, touch each other. Go go.

Heh, nice. Baby Sushi threatens that the money is a loan and he'll expect interest. And Kissy Xing does not seem sad about owing him at all but goes and buys even more food. After all, owing Baby Sushi gives him reason to stay in touch, doesn't it?

Aww, why do they always end on smirklord scenes? I want more. :(

Okay, this was a really nice episode. I can't wait to continue.

What I learned: The ghost gang enjoys torturing people. Kissy Xing is definitely nuts guy (well not learned from this episode, but I still learned it). I need the kid to return to his dads because I miss their interaction, as does he. There's a famous  thief wandering around and he stole Kissy Xing's fake Glazed Armor. The Heroes Conference is coming up.

Goals for future epsidoes: still to figure out how Kissy Xing and Baby Sushi know each other, understand the purpose and connections of the ghost gang and why Kissy Xing is part of them. Also, just generally, get to watch more smirklord interactions. ;)

1st off: You/Ducks got him with one of his team besties, Dominik Simon!!

They've been friends since their days in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. In fact, here's Reeser and Dom in their 2017 Barcelona trip with Jamie Oleksiak and other (at the time) Pens!

2nd: He's literally one of the best defensive forwards in hockey.

Like Jfresh said, he seems like a slow skater at first, but he's consistent in breaking up play in the defensive zone, buying time for his team, & keeping the puck away from the goalie.

Reeser's also NOT afraid to throw down and fight!

Reeser's extremely aware that he has more to give on the offensive side of things, so don't worry about that.

Since the 20-21 season, he's been vocal about wanting to have a more offensive-minded game. He certainly wants to top his best of nine goals from that season!

1: In another third-line Power Line, & create another defensive wall like the Aston-Reese-Blueger-Tanev line

2: Put Reeser in a Boyle-Kapanen-like line and have Reeser score more.

Reeser's well-liked for being straightforward, charming, affable, & giving thoughtful answers during interviews! He's also considerate to fans!

Reeser is also Bryan and Kelsey Rust's adoptive son (not literally, but the Rusts called him that, SO)!

Reeser stayed with the Rust's and Kelsey's brother during the pandemic, and that helped them grow really close.
