Heck yeah, Requestober!! Thanks for doing this again, it's always so much fun! I've got two TPoH ideas to choose from if that's alright, whichever you're more in the mood for. Either Dial annoying RGB, as he does, or Dial and Click being an awful chaos duo? Either would be great!

Hello! I read older posts where you mentioned you weren't a fan of your writing. I think you're awesome though! Love your work. c:
I have a suggestion, if you happen to like it. Could we get Zoro (and any other characters) with a shy and aloof female reader who can't figure out they're being flirted with, even though they share the same feelings?
👩🏻‍💻Hey!! Thank you so much for your sweet words it means a lot to me🫶🏻✨ I’m super happy you love it! And yes ofc no problem!! I love the idea 🤭
📂 Zoro+ oblivious shy/aloof reader to his flirting
Featuring: Zoro+ f!reader Warning: none, fluff Note: I rewrote it and very much prefer this version, I hope you do as much as me
Tumblr media
Zoro was never the type of man to be outspoken about his feelings
His flirting is somewhat a bit clumsy and he gets frustrated with himself easily. He gets embarrassed by being open with how he feels.
It doesn’t help when you are clearly not reading in between the lines...
He even wonders if you are doing it intentionally to mess with him, but when you just give him a confused look or go on about your day like nothing happened, he questions himself 😭
A sigh leaves the swordsman's lips as his back leans against the railing of the deck. His thoughts wander and they always come back to one thing bothering him: you.
He starts to doubt himself as most of his flirting attempt were fails. A week ago, he complimented your outfit ,but you simple threw a short thanks with a smile as you walked away. Wednesday when he sat next you for dinner and brushed his arm against yours, you just apologized with a blush and slightly took your distance. Yesterday, when he asked to talk to you, but you stuttered a bunch of words and got away from him by grabbing Nami's arm.
He knew better than abandoning. In fact, ever since his feelings for you were revealed to him, all he could think of, was you. You occupied his mind when it wasn't focused on training, he found himself longing to hug you and smile when you do. Although, he thought about not pursuing you, scared it would ruin his focus on his goal. It was in vain, as he realized you were always very supportive of his goal and even cheered him to train harder and achieve his dream. He appreciate it a lot.
The sun is slowly setting on the Sunny, the golden light illuminating the boat. He looks far away, a hand on his swords and his head turns in your direction as your laugh echoes through the ship.
You are playing a card game with Robin, killing time before its time for supper.
His lips naturally curve into a discreet smile as he observes you complain about some move Robin did. You were accusing her of cheating with her ability, sulking over your lost as she quickly denies it with a chuckle. As he watches you, he notices that you did something different with your hair and decide to use it to his advantage.
He approaches you with his usual blank expression, but he slightly hesitate in his steps which caught Robins attention. You smile noticing his presence.
-What brings you here! Wanna play?
You ask him as you show him quickly the pack of cards in your hands with your infamous grin.
-Nah, I’m good. You..you did something new with your hair?
-Oh, yeah! You noticed? Robin said it looked good.
You reply in an excited tone as you touch your hair.
-Yeah, you’re pretty.
-Thanks! I appreciate it
You say with a slight blush due to the compliment, but an awkward silence falls. Zoro stays silent for a moment as he thinks of what he could ad to the conversation but you open your mouth first.
- By the way,..umm I'm sorry about yesterday, i hope it wasn't something important?
You trail avoiding to stare at him as you remember how you embarrassingly ran away too nervous to talk to him. When he pulled you to the side, his eyes staring deeply into yours, you felt like you couldn't breath for a moment. You didn't want him to obviously figure out you like him...
Robin gazes at Zoro before looking at you a small teasing smirk appearing on her lips.
-Oh...Yeah...I was hoping to talk to you, but...uh.
He says as his face gets red. He clearly hates the facts that Robin is here enjoying the little show while you are still oblivious to his advances.
-It can wait
-We can talk now if you want. We were done with our game anyway.
-I have to do something first, but you can meet me in the crow-nest in about 5 minutes?
He lies trying to give himself some time to think about what he's going to say. You nod agreeing with your usual smile that he loves so much.
-Alright then see ya
You watch him leave, curious about what he wants to speak with you. You shrug your shoulders ready to leave too, but Robin is looking at you with a small teasing smirk.
-What?
-Nothing~
She retorts sweetly before waving you off.
++++
The dark sky slowly sets over the head of the Strawhats as the delicious smell of the food fills everyone nostrils. You enter your room to put away your card and as you are about to leave, you take a moment to breath. You didn't notice how nervous you are until you felt your breath getting a little shaky.
Arrived at the location, you open the door and see him sat not too far from the window. He’s looking away but as he notices your presence, he invites you to sit besides him.
-The food smells good
You say breaking the silence. He nods and looks outside again. At around the same moment, an insect fly inside and run directly in your face, making you panic a little. Zoro is quick to catch it and throw it away, making sure you are fine at the same time.
-You’re okay?
-Yeah, it’s just a small insect, I'm good.
-Wait
He gets closer to you and clumsily fix your hair with the use of his fingers.
-Cool
He concludes with a small satisfied smile as he finishes placing your hair. You look up at him with a blush, eyes connecting with his. Zoro clears his throat as he leans back while you stare at your nervous fingers. Your heart is pounding in your chest as you stare now at your friend.
-So, what did you want to talk about?
You see him hesitate as he opens his mouth but close it quickly. His gaze shift from you to the view outside. He sighs and with a blush spread on his tanned cheeks, he finally speaks.
-I like you
Your eyes widen at his sudden confession, not expecting this at all. You furrow your eyebrows as your hand naturally covers your pounding heart.
-What??Since when!?
You ask completely confused. He chuckles a little astonished to your true shock to his confession. You really didn't notice his flirting tactics.
-I thought I made it obvious
-No?? How??
-Uh...with compliments.
-Zoro...
-I don't compliment anyone like the cook, I genuinely think you are pretty.
You gasp a little hiding your face in your hands, half of you not believing this is real and half of you realizing the cause of his strange behavior. You let your hands fall on your laps as you giggle.
-You're so bad at flirting
You joke to try to calm yourself down. Both of you start laughing as he admits it with a nod.
-You are so dense though
-Pfff, not at all
-You clearly can't take a hint
-Wha-
-Y/N SWANNNN, It's time to eat!
You are interrupted by Sanji's scream that startle you a little.
-Look like dinner is ready
Zoro concludes as he prepares himself to stand up, but you quickly grab his forearm pulling him down. You close the distance and give him a quick kiss on his cheek. He looks at you surprised, but he slowly start to smile.
-I like you too

I'm sure Jason misses the time Dick would smile at him and pet his head "you did great little wing", he tries so much to get Dick to do this again
(I just want Dick to tell Jason he's a good boy, he deserves it)
It's an accident. A faux pas, even. They're riding a high from a successful, impromptu joint venture though so Dick just - he doesn't think.
Lingering adrenaline makes him thoughtless, stupid. So he just...
'Thanks for the assist out there, little wing.'
All while brazenly ruffling Jason's hair and smiling at him like a fool. Foreheads bumping, Dick's hands coming to hold Jason's face, squishing his cheeks some, thumbs brushing his temples; scratching through his hair - all bright-eyed and breathless, filled with hope and wonder and a forgotten thrill.
Problem is? This isn't their relationship. It never was (though maybe it could have been). It's just what Dick had wanted after - after.
So it's a little embarrassing. Because this isn't an old habit from their bygone youth, just a lingering regret and a willful want that Dick doesn't deserve to have. Maybe they shared a few tender moments like this before (triumphant, invincible), but it didn't happen nearly enough to justify this familiarity.
That's what Dick reasons, at least. Especially after Jason goes impossibly still at receiving Dick's praise and affections.
It's okay though. For all Jason's perceived distaste towards him, Dick plays it cool. No use making things more awkward for the both of them.
So Dick pulls away, laughing it off before dipping like a coward to lick his wounds. And he's not usually so antsy, but it's always been different with Jason. Too many wishes and wants; could-have-beens that haunt him, should-have-dones something that lingers in his mind and weighs heavy on his heart.
Ie. Dick is despondent.
M e a n w h i l e: Jason. Who is very much left behind with the most flustered and bemused expression because what.
What's more? Jason getting shy about the exchange. //u///
He brings his own hand to his head to try and hang on to the feeling of Dick ruffling his hair (gripping and playfully tugging it, too because ( ͡º ꒳ ͡º )), the sweetest little blush staining his cheeks.
He's reminded of when he was a brat - the few times he managed to make Dick proud and Dick would get like that.
And just. Jason isn't some punkass that needs anyone's validation anymore. He doesn't care to please anyone. As a big strong independent baddie bitch, he doesn't chase after praise--
Only he does. Because he's a big strong independent baddie bitch and he likes that bullshit.
Like fuck Jason won't get it again.
Which leads to Jason's good boy era as Red Hood because he wants more affection and praise from Dick - because he wants to be the cause of such a devastatingly wonderful smile.
Just - Jason being so aggressive about this new goal of his. Being purposefully over the top good and agreeable and then standing off to the side, head lowered just a fraction in anticipation of more hair ruffles and head pats and closeness.
Only Dick is still reserved and restraining himself. He doesn't want to overstep with Jason again. Especially since Jason has been willing to work with him again lately.
So Dick gives Jason an arm pat instead, hahaha.
And Jason stares after him as Dick walks away - eyes wide and jaw dropped because w h a t. All that effort for a fucking arm pat?
The betrayal. The devastation. Oh, Jason would rage.
Which leads to the Return of the Red Hood, part x.

Is it possible to ask for a romantic concept of Miguel + Peter B Parker sharing a darling???
I'll try! It may be short but I hope it comes out okay :) I wasn't sure what to add without repeating myself.
Miguel O'Hara Concept
Peter B. Parker Concept
Yandere! Miguel O'Hara + Peter B. Parker Sharing
(General Thoughts)
Pairing: Romantic - Sharing
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Poly/Sharing, Manipulation, Overprotective behavior, Isolation, Implied kidnapping, Violence, Clingy behavior, Marking mention, Stockholm syndrome implication, Possessive behavior, Forced relationship.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We can assume based on how I portray the two that they're both the protective type.
As a result they'd tolerate sharing you.
Peter no doubt would be the one to fall for you first.
But first he'd try to get Miguel used to you, the start of breaking down his friend's walls.
The two have very different intensities but overall have the same goal: keeping you safe, like heroes (and lovers) should.
Peter is softer and more delusional, he clings to you with the hostility of a teddy bear.
Then there's Miguel who is rougher and more possessive, clinging to you with the possessiveness of a beast.
Peter is the faster obsession while Miguel takes longer.
If they're sharing then Peter would make Miguel's obsession develop faster by having you three get to know each other.
You can bet your home quickly becomes Miguel's office the moment the two obsessions start.
Peter is relatively lax in his obsession.
Such a thing frustrates Miguel since he hates how carefree/lazy Peter is at times.
How are they supposed to protect you if he acts like this!?
Miguel as a result is much more serious and strict.
Peter would be the one to drag you into cuddles and praises.
While Miguel would be one to enforce things, such as punishments and isolation. He's the driving force once he's on board.
The two of them have a craving for a sense of family.
In this AU Peter is still divorced, so he's chasing the feeling he had before with you.
Meanwhile Miguel has his own backstory with family, even replacing an alternate version of himself to have one.
The two Spider-Men feel they have a chance to have a family if they both have you.
Between the two of them there would be a lot of manipulation and isolation.
Miguel is adamant that keeping you away from others and in the sight of Peter and him will keep you safe and happy.
Obviously Miguel can be more intimidating with his methods... so Peter comes in to comfort and reassure you.
I imagine Peter would remind Miguel to be nicer around you.
Neither of them would kill but may get violent if they felt they were threatened by an anomaly or another Spider-Person.
Miguel comes off as scary but he's really just trying to do the right thing like any Spider-Person.
And Peter? ... for the most part very harmless.
Miguel is more possessive with affection, he'd be the one to mark/bite, bruise your lips with kisses, leave marks, etc.
Meanwhile Peter is soothing with his affection yet starved, he'd give you softer kisses and gentle touches yet at times never leave your side for hours.
Really once you're brought to the Spider Society, even as a Spider-Person, like in the Miguel concept you can't escape.
Miguel will drag you back, scold you, perhaps even suggest punishment... before Peter comes in.
Peter would calm everyone down even though you did worry him.
Peter can help you at times unless you upset him.
After that he lets Miguel deal with things.
Honestly, if they had to, they have ways of keeping you trapped.
Many ways....
You see, it would be better if you accept the fact they're protecting you.
Freedom right now may be too dangerous for their sweetheart.
That's okay, your boyfriends will show you that they do this out of love for you...
You may even forget about freedom the more they're around if they're lucky.

So since we’re making pacts with the 7 brothers again, do you think it’ll be the same order?
I personally can’t see Mammon making a pact with a stranger while his brothers need him.
I also don’t see Levi being willing to make a pact with some random rn, mans got tons of deep rooted hatred for demons after fighting them for years
No idea,
But I think it makes the most sense if Mammon's the first because;
• Mammon being MC's first friend/companion/tour guide is consistent throughout different AUs in om! (that we see in events and devilgrams). So it'd be odd if that suddenly breaks off here?
• He's also instantly intrigued by them/interested in them when he meets them as an angel in the celestial realm. I just imagine this is a constant for Mammon?
• Mammon in S3 says he wouldn't make a pact with a random human. Which is exactly what he did in S1 because despite being intrigued by MC at the time he didn't know them. However, S3 also shows that MC wasn't a random human. They travelled back in time to when the brothers were still angels, made a lasting impression on the them (they encourage Mammon's dreams, laugh at his pranks that no one finds funny and according to him they keep staring at him despite being called out twice). And though MC's and the brothers' memories of this time are erased, Michael says that the effect of their presence will be felt. Angel! Asmo & Lucifer also dream of MC though they can't remember who exactly they're missing (which means the others definitely had similar dreams). So then Mammon's decision to make a pact with MC in S1 could have been subconsciously influenced by this encounter (and it was a decision because being much stronger + faster than Levi & MC he could have easily gotten Goldie back without having to make a pact). Nightbringer happens after that encounter in the Celestial Realm. So the impact of that encounter would, realistically, still be felt in Nightbringer. In other words, the brothers may still feel drawn towards MC/feel like they're familiar
• In S1, MC is also instantly comfortable with him (enough to talk back to him over and over again) while they're reserved with the rest of the brothers until right before/after they make the pact. They've also been called out multiple times (in the main storylines or chats or devilgrams or events) for having a bias towards Mammon. Beel in S1 also said that MC had a tendency to seek out Mammon to talk with him. <- MC, themself, might just gravitate towards Mammon without him having to do anything
• They also never register Mammon as a threat, even during circumstances where they should (vampire devilgram, first paws event, s1). They're comfortable enough with him that they start regularly sharing a bedroom in S1 before they're even proper friends. So again, they may just gravitate towards him.
• Like in S1, Mammon might be the only safe option for MC in the beginning. He's clearly the only one who's got his shit together right now, while the others are visibly heavily traumatised. He's the only one with no regrets about his decision/who seems to have come to terms with what happened. It makes less sense for the ones who are Going Through It to make a pact with a random ass human than the one who is actually (considering the circumstances) extremely well adjusted
• MC's being dropped into Nightbringer to be a therapist to the brothers during their worst moment of life. Previously, Mammon's the one who took on this role (as seen in "The Rulebook" Devilgram). As you said Mammon's brothers need him and literally the best thing he can do right now is team up with the person who's also trying to help them in the same manner he is. It makes so much sense for them to be working together towards their common goal from the beginning, than to be at odds with each other until they make a pact later on
• By the process of elimination, Mammon's the only one who's mentally in a place to make a pact right now. AND at this point his brothers see him as extremely competent (because he is) and reliable - someone who can do anything he puts his mind to. After they Fall he's calm and collected, he's the one who talks them down/soothes their injuires and nightmares. They trust him. They'll, therefore, be much more open to making a pact with MC if Mammon already has one, if they feel like Mammon trusts MC.
• Mammon was literally created by the writers to be MC's "sidekick". It'd be weird to suddenly break away from something that was a major defining point during the creation of his character
I don't know what order they'll go in to make the pacts but listen,
I'm not even saying this as someone who's simping for this idiot;
It's just, objectively, it makes much more sense for Mammon to be MC's first pact again, than for any of the others.

Reylo Scenes: TROS Part 2
After a failed attempt at killing Rey and Rey slashing Ren's fighter. He's relieved he didn't kill her. She's relieved she didn't kill him. He emerges looking fucking glorious while Rey tried to stop a ship from flying off cause she thinks Chewie is on board. What the hell are they doing putting a mask on him at this point?!
Tumblr media
In the novel from Kylo's perspective, "But his impulse to kill Key had almost ruined everything he had been planning..... but his deepest desire, the thing he wanted most (Rey) would require planning and patience."
"It didn't matter what or who was inside that transport that made desperate to prevent it's escape, he was not going to let her have it. He reached out, felt the massive machinery in his mind, yanked it towards himself."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What's interesting in this scene is Kylo Ren is pushing her and Rey ultimately pulls from anger to best him and keep chewing. That's what always been interesting about Rey is she's the Jedi, but often times she fights with anger, fear and aggression. In the novelization it's revealed that over the course of that year she's been hearing voices. It looks pretty and it's a good shot, but I kept thinking didn't we already see this? Force wise... they're pretty even. While it doesn't hit as hard as the tug-o-war in the TLJ it does serve a purpose. Rey is a Palpatine after all.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the movie, as per usual, this next bit doesn't make any sense. Ren seems stunned and just let's Rey, Finn and Poe run off. In the novel it makes more sense.
"Kylo Ren watched the freighter rise into the sky, Rey inside it. She had beaten him again (she thought she killed her friend not really a win but you're emo) and yet, he was filled with triumph. He'd been right to push her. She had just demonstrated unbelievable, mind blowing power. Dark power. Sith Power. The scavenger was almost ready to turn. And when she did, they would both kill their light, embrace their darkness, then the star destroyer fleet and the Sith throne would be theirs."
Kylo Ren is a Reylo and is trying to make power couple goals happen and we have to appreciate that.
Tumblr media
This is concept art from "The Rise of Skywalker" notice how their costumes mirror each other.
The chemistry between Rey and Kylo is electric whenever they share the same space, so much so that sometimes it feels like we, the audience, are intruding on a private moment between the two.
On board Ochi's ship Rey confesses she has sex dreams about Kylo Ren. Let's be honest they both do and she confesses she's had visions of her and Kylo Ren on top the Sith throne.
Next scene is them in Kijimi. Ren is looking for his future Queen who is trying to find the sithway finder or whatever. Arriving in his pretty cool ship.
In the novel per Zorii, "As the black clad man approached the squads officer snap to attention, "Supreme leader".... the man standing below with his gang od butchers was Kylo Ren himself.....The supreme leader said his voice was tight and calm, but Zorii got the feeling he was barely containing his rage. He looked around almost as if he were sniffing the air. "We have a perimeter around the city." The lieutenant began, but Kylo Ren cut him off, "We're too late, the scavenger is gone." Zorri goes onto describe Kylo Ren having a moment whipping his lightsaber out and going beast mode.
In the movie through the force it's implied that that's how Rey knows Chewie is onboard Ren's destroyer, but in the novel it's different. He interrogated Chewie forcefully (wink wink ha ha ha) to get information on Rey. Rey was able to link mind with Kylo Ren and that's how she knew Chewie was onboard. They should've shown them linking minds more.
Tumblr media
Then Rey was in his room, or excuse me, private quarters. Anyone else surprised his room was so white and pretty, if no impersonal. Where's his bed? I saw it in the first movie I think.
"Rey. Wherever you are, you are hard to find."
I'm wondering if at this point that can connect to one another more voluntarily. Rey is always swinging first. Like always. This scene can only really be described as exposition scenes, but there is a nice aspect to it. It's nice to see what they see from one another's viewpoint when they force bond. They just see each other. The dyad is increasing in power, not only can they now touch through the force, they can fight and their spaces even blend. They were together and yet separate. Kylo Ren also seems to be very excited his girl is in quarters and wants to lock down that ship.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In their next scene, again, Kylo tells her the plot of The Rise of Skywalker while wearing that damn mask. I have questions when did Kylo Ren find out they were a dyad?! Why were denied this scene? Obviously they instinctually know they are connected, they just never knew the word to put to it, but were is the exact scene? The thing about Kylo Ren is he uses information to twist it like a knife. He's going to use the truth that they are Dyad, that she is a Palpatine and ultimately the attraction she feels for him to seduce her to the dark side. From Rey's perspective, "He extended his black gloved hand to her, she looked at it, remembered. The last time he extended a hand had been in the wreckage of Snoke's throne room. Their combined power had defeated him. It was true. That together they could do such incredible things. Suddenly, she sensed a weight at her back and along with it... Finn. His presence a bright beacon of light piercing the dark." Ren pulling some MJ Smooth Criminal moves there.
Tumblr media
After Rey flees with her crew, in the novel it's gives Kylo Ren's reaction. Her surveys the damage left from The Falcon's engine wash. "Kylo considered it a small price to pay to encounter Rey again. To provoke her into a rage. To say the word Dyad and watch the truth of it wash over her lovely face......he hardly paid attention, he kept seeing her face. The way her lips had parted with surprise. The way her body had canted (leaned) toward him. If the Millennial falcon hadn't appeared she might have come to him. Taken his hand. Kylo really hated that ship.... he'd been so very close, but now she knew the truth. She would accept it."
Yeah, they're horny. It's the first time Kylo described her in such detail and really let us as the reader or audience know..... he wants power, but he wants Rey more. If Ren had the world in his hand it wouldn't mean as much without Rey. This is the first scene in the movie where Rey acknowledges how much she wants to be with him. Interesting, Finn again is really her solid base on the good side of the force.
Side note: Dark Rey is hot.
Tumblr media
The lightsaber fight onboard the death star wreckage. I've heard criticism that this fight while beautiful is pointless. I disagree. It's actually a scene that pushes them forward. Rey said, "give it to me" and Ren giving this shudder like he just came in his pants. hmmhmm! Ren likes feral, passionate Rey. He's pushing her and pushing her when she's already at the edge. Interesting enough, Ben can take whatever Rey has to give. All the anger and the fury she's had to hide from everyone else she can express to him. The fight is really about their likeness and yet difference, their passion, how Rey has grown in her lightsaber fighting and fixing the end of The Force Awakens. Ren is fighting at full force capacity, he's not injured and he's not emotional.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The way he is in love
Tumblr media
“He sent the thought directly into her mind: I know you. No one does, she shot back. But I do.” WHY WASN'T THIS IN THE MOVIE?!
Tumblr media
They fight until Rey is exhausted and when it looks like Kylo Ren might strike the killing blow, Leia reaches out through the force before she passes. In a fit of rage Rey stabs Kylo Ren, but snaps out of it when she feels Leia's passing. She begins to heal the wound she created.
How did she heal? Oh, you know those books she had in the beginning of the movie? Those book were the sacred Jedi text from Acht-to. She smuggled them onboard the falcon. So they never were actually set fire. Turns out Yoda that they actually were useful.
Rey showing him compassion, healing him, believing in him almost doggedly is so empowering for Ben Solo to return. His parents might be gone, but he still has someone to return home to. This movie has flawed writing but sometimes almost accidentally that land on something that works. The line where she admits she wanted to take his hand is a great line. It's declaration of love for Ben, not a rejection of Kylo Ren. It's her saying, "I didn't reject you. I wanted the best version of you"
Tumblr media
After the unconditional love offered by both parents and the selfless, sacrificial love offered by Rey...... Kylo Ren becomes Ben Solo again. We just don't see him for the next 20 minutes as Rey processes her identity crisis and then goes off to fight to Palpatine..... without a plan.
There's also something purely adolescent about Reylo. Even in TLJ, these two throw themselves into one another. Like Rey having a vision of their future together so she goes alone to an enemy ship based purely on belief in him. Now we have Ben Solo, in a moment of pure adolescent "I gotta get to my girl" just needs to be with her on exegol as she faces down Palpatine.
From Adam Driver, "and the thing that we started with for "Who is Ben, then? There's no ambiguity about what it is that he has to do. There's no more seesaw that's happening. For the first time, someone who has never had the answer now finally knows his purpose or destiny. But I don't know that he entirely is sure of what's going to happen from there, nor do I think he cares. I think it's so long as he is with her, he's on the right path. " Adam driver is a Reylo.
Ben solo is back and he's glorious. He's likeable, charismatic, he's funny and he shoots backwards like his dad. People appreciated Adam Driver in an all new way with these scenes. He doesn't say a word except "oh, but you know he's shifted from Kylo Ren to Ben Solo. His physical acting is so strong. The subtlety showed his talented and not many actors can say that.
Tumblr media
It such a beautiful moment when finally Ben Solo and Rey connect instead. In the novel and in the film especially so because she reaches for her connection to Ben right before she's going to kill Palpatine.
He acknowledged her and Rey’s lips parted in surprise. The connection was… right. Good. Like coming home. They wasted a precious moment reveling in this new sharing. This is how it should have been all along. A true dyad.
Rey lowered the lightsaber behind her back, as if readying for a massive blow. She reached for the Force. The effort made tears sting in her eyes. [...] She raised her hand ... which was now empty. She had projected her weapon away. [...] The moment Ben felt the grip of Luke’s lightsaber in his palm, he knew it belonged to him, an extension of his very own self. He raised it slowly, relishing the feel of it. ”
It's a beautiful moment where Rey and now Ben Solo have a redo of The Last Jedi. Rey looks at Ben with such love, joy and relief. Ben looks at Rey with such confidence, determination and love. It's the "Are you with me? "Yes, I'm with" Now with them both in blue light.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finally Ben Solo and Rey are united. These soulmates separate by so much over the course of two movies are finally as they were suppose to be. Palpatine and Skywalker standing together. What it should have been is act of love, redemption and hope defeating evil. It should have been Ben Solo confronting his demons with the woman he loves and fought to be with. It should have been is Rey belonging; a redeemed Ben was supposed to become her new home and/ fulfill her need for a family. It should have been a power couple fighting evil with the Force.
Tumblr media
But no. Somehow the two of them coming together empowered the devil. Their power like a source of life itself. Then Ben Solo is chucked off a cliff after draining their energy. Why? Ben Solo should have faced his grandfather's and father's enemy, or his clone. Palpatine confirms all the voices he's been hearing in his head has been Palpatine. He literally made irrelevant to something he is very relevant to.
They fail together, but she succeeds alone after the spirits of the Jedi aiding her?! I hate all this. Then she dies after her energy being drained, or she clutches the lightsaber too hard, I'm not sure it's not described. It's annoying. Ben drags himself up broken ribs and all to get to Rey. He crawls to her when he realizes she's passed. It's a horrible moment where you feel how alone Ben feels.
"He could see her now, collapsed on the floor, and the pain in his chest was suddenly so much worse than that of a couple broken ribs."
Tumblr media
Ben initially mourns her until he realizes there might be a chance to save. He heals her like she healed him. Oh also none of the films go into the fact that because of their bond they were able to learn the force, including fighting moves, from one another. "Ben poured everything into her. He found reservoirs he didn’t even know he had. He gave her his whole self"
Then Rey finally takes his hand! She's back! Ben is so relieve that she's there. In the novel, "She was glad to see him. Glad to be with him in this moment. It was the greatest gift she could have given him. His heart was full as Rey reached for his face, let her fingers linger against his cheek. And then, wonder of wonders, she leaned forward and kissed him."
Reylos! We finally get our kiss, they smile at one another, look they're so happy! Probably the happiest they've ever been. A celebration!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anddddddd he's gone. Seriously. Rey mourns him in the novel like we never see her do in the film. "The girl who had felt alone for all those years on Jakku had been part of a dyad the whole time. And just when she'd discovered that precious connection, that incredible oneness, it was ripped away. A voice came to her through the Force, clear and strong. I will always be with you, Ben said."
Tumblr media
It's tragic because there's so much to Ben Solo we just don't see as an audience after 3 films!!!!!! He doesn't have any lines.
This movie was edited until literally the week before the films release. The recall of the artbook, the last-minute editing, Adam Driver recording new dialogue in his closet..... I'm wondering if the original idea for TROS Reylo was, well, this. We know from the editor, they didn't know for sure if they wanted them to kiss until post-production. Much of the movie wasn't decided until post-production.
And then we get to the ending. Rey Skywalker. How are you not Rey Solo after the man you felt kinship with and the man you were in love with?! Like da fuq?!
Moving forward to this Rey 2025 movie. I'd like it to do well. I hope it does well. It probably won't unless Ben Solo returns. Reylo might be controversial (whatever) but it's currently one of the biggest draws this franchise has. Kylo Ren/Ben Solo is the most popular character out of the sequel trilogy. We deserve it and I'd pay to see it.
sigh the ending we should have gotten

Interview With a Writer
Tumblr media
Thank you @st-eve-barnes for going over your Saltburn series with me! Just a reminder, you can view volume 1 & 2 of my ongoing series Interview With a Writer, where these talented individuals allow me to pick their brains over the brilliance behind their writing!
Tumblr media
Name: st-eve-barnes
Story: Leverage
Paring: Michael Gavey x Female!Reader
WARNINGS: 18+ for explicit content and language. Kissing, oral sex (male receiving), dry humping, hand job, fingering, p in v sex. First kiss and loss of virginity. Experienced reader. Enemies to lovers vibes.
So, when did you start writing?
I guess I have to say as a teenager, though I never shared anything I wrote back then. I still have the notebooks I used to drabble in (in Dutch), it wasn’t very good at all but I guess even back then I had that need to be creative and make my own stories.
I officially started writing fanfic in 2013. I watched Thor the Dark World, fell in love with Loki, made a Tumblr and a whole new world opened. After a few months of reading fanfic, I started writing my own. Again, it wasn’t very good at all but even my bad stories slowly started to find an audience on here, so I stuck with it.
Loki is amazing, just Aemond energy in a different font.
He truly is! I've written different characters since, but the moment I saw Aemond on screen I was transported back to the first time I saw Loki. His intensity, that quiet threat like you don't know what he's going to do next, combined with this, "I was made to be king but my stupid brother is the chosen one."
And a certain sadness, of course. We know they're the villains, but we understand them in a way and can feel their pain. And they are sexy as hell of course ;)
Tumblr media
Where did the plot for Leverage come from?
Okay, so first of all, I am someone who never plans an entire plot when I start a fic. I am very much a "make it up as I go along" writer. I start with an idea and a dynamic I want to write between two characters and then I build from there.
For this one I wanted Reader and Michael to have a common goal and a common enemy, something that would push these two different characters to want to work together. I wanted the enemies to lovers vibe but soft. Like, you can tell very early on in the fic that they have empathy for each other. When Reader is crying, Michael softens up easily, and when she sees Michael being vulnerable about not being able to get girls, she feels for him as well.
Their personalities will still clash even after that, but you can (hopefully) feel the connection between them as well. I wanted Ben's threat to loom over them for the entire fic but also never make it the main plot point in every chapter. The main plot for me here was how Michael and Reader could help each other change and grow, and then either accept that change or turn away from it.
Was there anything in specific that inspired your Reader portrayal?
No, not really, I think. I wanted to make her independent and confident, but also a little bit lonely, all traits you can also find in Michael. And anything else, as usual, I make up as I go along. I get to know the characters as I write them and often I'm surprised where they take me. In this fic I think it was Michael who surprised me the most though, he really turned out different than I initially had planned.
Explain your interpretation of Michael. What drives him? How did he differ from what you originally had in mind?
Salburn didn't give us much to work with, and I actually love that because it gives us so much freedom to play with the character.
I went with what the movie did give us: Michael's obvious hatred for the popular privileged kids. It's the reason he initially hates Reader, but warms up to her when he learns that she is actually working for her place at Oxford and she is not a real part of Ben's group. I think he is driven to help her purely because of that common enemy in the beginning.
Then he gets to know her a little and the promise of sex comes into play, which he definitely doesn't say no to. What surprised me in writing him is that I initially planned on writing him as a sub throughout the entire fic, but then half way in the tables started turning and he started taking over control a bit (of the Reader and me as well apparently!). And then suddenly it made complete sense to write him that way, because he would be that overeager student who wants to do well and who does the homework to get it exactly right, it doesn't matter whether it's math or sex, he wants to show how good and smart he is.
Him just accepting his feelings for her so calmly was also something I didn't plan, but just sort of happened as I was writing.
My initial plans there was going to be a big fight between her and Michael right before they would call things off. He would force her to admit her feelings and the sex would turn quite rough; Michael just being Michael and saying a lot of wrong things to her that would eventually shut her down completely. But I never wrote that scene and by the time I got there in the story it didn't seem to fit their characters anymore and it also seemed too heavy for this fic so I let go of that idea.
Tumblr media
Do you feel your Reader and Michael complement one another?
I definitely think they complement each other, but I also think they are quite alike in many ways. As I said before, they are both quite confident in different ways and insecure in others.
I do think they complement each other perfectly with Michael being more book smart and focused, while Reader is (a lot) better with people and social skills. I think them being together changes them both for the better cause they can learn from each other's personalities and bring out the best out in each other (but also the worst, of course).
Let's say that in their future they definitely learn to focus on bringing out the best and not the worst in each other ;)
Do you think you'll ever continue their story?
Never say never, but there's no plans to write more for them for now. I don't think I've written many sequels over the years, but I love writing different ideas and dynamics between two characters and once they are together, it's like "my work here is done."
Do you have a personal favorite story (on ao3 or Tumblr) you'd like to share?
My absolute favorite story is from a previous fandom that I'm not in anymore, but I have to share that one as it is the single most beautiful thing I've ever read. It was the fic that pulled me into the fandom. It's a Stucky story and it's called Not Easily Conquered, known as NEC in the fandom.
It will crush your soul and heal you and I will give anyone the same advice I got before I read it for the first time: be prepared because this one will hurt. I cried for like a week after I read it and I don't cry easily so this one should come with a warning. But it is absolutely worth it!
Tumblr media
Do you have another story in the works?
The only thing I'm working on right now is a Felix Catton x Reader story called Pretty Little Liars. Two chapters have been posted and I'm working on the next ones, but it may be a while as life has been a bit full on here lately.
Would you like to share a snippet of what's to come?
“I think he has a little crush on you,” you stated while Felix opened the door to his room and let you step inside first. Felix shook his head but the little blush on his cheeks didn’t go unnoticed by you. “It’s not like that,” he denied, “He’s just…a bit lost and I’m trying to be his friend.” “You sure that’s all he wants?” “Yeah,” he laughed, “Ollie doesn’t want me, he just wants to be like me.” “If you say so,” you sighed, not convinced. Felix grabbed you by the shoulders and pushed you down to sit on the side of his bed, leaning forward to look into your eyes, “Hey, come on, don’t ruin this by becoming jealous.” “I’m not jealous, I’m…concerned.” That wasn’t a lie. Jealousy was never a factor, you knew right from the start that Felix would never truly be yours, you would always have to share him with the rest of the world. And you always accepted that. But the idea of sharing him with Oliver somehow made your blood boil. Felix kneeled down in front of you, eyes locking with yours as his gaze darkened and he smiled that irresistible smile of his. “Now, did you come up here to chat about Ollie, or to get your pussy eaten, hmm? Cause I can’t do both at the same time.” His lips connected with your knee, kissing your skin softly and you bit your lip and sighed deeply, “Fine, I’ll shut up.”

Bumbleby VS Robyn
Tumblr media
Blake and Yang's most important moment in volume 7 is their disagreement over Ironwood and Ruby, which is solved with their fight against Robyn and their choice to share the truth with her.
This is overall a minor moment, but it touches on several important themes and ideas, which are central to Blake and Yang's arcs.
ROBYN AS BUMBLEBY'S FOIL
Robyn herself is an interesting foil to both bees.
Just like Blake, she is a freedom fighter and she isn't afraid to break the law for her ideals:
Robyn: The law isn't perfect, you know. It's certainly not equal. My only goal is that all the citizens of Mantle and Atlas -- and Faunus -- have an equal shot at a good life.
Blake: There's too much wrong in this world to just stand by and do nothing. Inequality, corruption… Someone has to stop it.
Her political history even resembles Blake's. She is the leader of a movement, who hopes to change society peacefully. Still, when this chance is stolen, she resorts to strength.
Just like Yang, she is a person who gives much importance to honesty and trust:
Robyn: We can't fix the wall without the supplies on these trucks. I think Mantle deserves to know what they're being used for. It doesn't have to be difficult. Just tell me.
Yang: If we're going to help, if we're going to keep risking our lives, no more lies. No more half-truths.
She even resembles our Goldilock in personality. She is as quick to give names as Yang is to make puns. Morevoer, both are strong-willed and sometimes hot-headed. (Also, both are blond and with purple eyes)
So, Blake and Yang are really asked to face off against a part of themselves. Not only that, but they are forced to play parts they deep down dislike.
Blake is forced to arrest a Huntress, who is trying to help the poor and the oppressed:
Blake: I can tell you, ambushing a Huntress who's just trying to help isn't an option I'm thrilled about choosing.
Our Shadow Beast has spent the majority of her life fighting Atlas, but she is now allied with Ironwood who embodies the Kingdom and its classism.
Yang is forced to hide information from others. Both from Ironwood because of Ruby and from Robyn because of Ironwood:
Yang: Do you… Do you think we should've told Ironwood about Salem, before he put so much on the line for Amity? I trust Ruby, but I think he deserves to know what he's stepping into. We all did.
She was the angriest at Ozpin for keeping secrets, but she is now withholding information herself.
In short, Blake and Yang are in a new situation. Blake is with those in power. Yang is in the known. And yet things aren't easier:
Blake: I'm not sure there are many good options left for any of us anymore. Keeping secrets, taking lives? It makes you wonder how far we're gonna have to go to keep doing the right thing.
Now that they are stronger and wiser, the bees realize they might be becoming like those they resented. So, they decide to forge a new path:
Blake: It isn't an option I'm thrilled about choosing. Yang: Then, maybe we shouldn't.
They take a risk and share the truth with Robyn. What's the outcome?
SHADOW AND LIGHT
Out of the ashes a new flame ignite Rise up from shadows and into the light
Bumbleby vs Robyn is a fight, which makes full use of shadows and lights. This kind of symbolism is dear to Blake:
Tumblr media
After all, she is linked to the twilight, when lights and shadows meet, because she is meant to become a bridge between different cultures and people. Here, she fulfills this role.
Tumblr media
Throughout their battle, Bumbleby stay in the light. Robyn instead steps into the shadows:
Tumblr media
This happens because our 2 girls can move in the light of Atlas society and know the truth. Meanwhile Robyn can only survive by escaping and hiding and is in the dark.
So, Blake tries to overcome the gap:
Tumblr media
Blake: Amity Colosseum, all these supplies, they're for… They're for a new communications tower.
She leads Robyn towards the light:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is Blake's call. She is supposed to bring people lost in darkness into the light. This is why symbolically she can see in darkness (like a cat). It is so she can notice people who are unseen and unheard and make them visible and heard. Here, she stays true to herself.
PLAY BOTH SIDES
Play both sides (play both sides) When truth you cannot recognize
Bumbleby vs Robyn is rooted in the themes of trust, lies and truth. All these ideas are central to Yang's character:
Raven: The truth is that "truth" is hard to come by. A story of victory for one person is a story of defeat for someone else. By now, your uncle has surely told Ruby and her friends plenty of stories.
This is Raven's teaching, after all. In order to understand the complexity of the world Yang should doubt others and ask questions:
Yang: Why should we believe any of this? Raven: Now you're catching on. So far you've done nothing but accept what others tell you, but you need to question everything.
This is the only way for her to see what is usually hidden:
Scathing eyes ask that we be symmetrical, one sided and easily processed. Yet every misshapen spark's unseen beauty is greater than its would be judgement.
So, this is what Yang does throughout the whole scene. She expresses doubts about Ruby's decision and comes up with her own strategy to deal with the current situation. Blake may be the heart of the operation, as she is the most determined to get through and is the one to step forward. Still, Yang is the mind, as she is the one to bring up the idea in the first place. Let's highlight this idea is in itself an ambiguous solution.
On the one hand Yang and Blake are telling Robyn the truth and trusting her. On the other hand they are adding new secrets and lies between them and Ironwood's group:
Ironwood: Are you with me? How did Robyn know about the Global Communications Project?
In short, Yang finds a solution to pursue trust and honesty, but she does so by accepting the necessity of a gray zone. Maybe this is why she is the one who looks straight into the shadows, after Blake leaves first:
Tumblr media
And what she sees is disturbingly familiar:
Robyn: I won't stop until I know the whole truth.
Yang: That question… Why? I didn't know an answer, but I was determined to find out. It was all I thought about.
Tumblr media
ADAM AND RAVEN'S GHOSTS
So, the bees come up together with a solution to their current predicament.
Blake is passionate about this idea and pursues it with faith. She leads Robyn into the light with no hesitation.
Yang comes up with the plan, but is wary of the situation. She looks at Robyn's shadows and has doubts.
These opposite approaches are complementary and clearly stem from Blake and Yang's different developments, which the scene references through the subtle presence of both Adam and Raven.
Adam is directly alluded to:
Yang: Blake. We did… what we had to do. Blake: I know. But next time, I wanna make sure we don't have to.
Blake regrets killing Adam. She knows she had no other choice, but is still not happy about it and does not want to go through something similar again. Even if she is now stronger and free, she still has some emotions to unpack. This is why Adam comes up here and in another moment of volume 7:
Tumblr media
Blake: I just realized where we are. This mine was closed after an explosion. Weiss: I remember this disaster. Or rather, I remember how furious it made my father. I wish I could take back the years of pain my family has caused the Faunus and all of my complacency in it.
In the mine Blake remembers both Adam's SDC scar and Ilia's parents. They are two memories linked to Faunus discrimination, which is a problem she is still grappling with. Our Cat Girl is then still mulling over some unsolved feelings over:
Adam's death
The Faunus discrimination
It is then no surprising this comes up in 2 scenes linked to specifically Yang and Weiss, so the 2 characters set up to help with these 2 sides of Blake's story.
Raven isn't mentioned, but her presence is there, as Yang clearly follows her mother's advice. She is asking questions and thinking for herself. She even comes up with a plan where she and Blake go behind their allies' back for what they believe in.
Yang: You're right. I don't know you. I only know the Raven dad told me about. She was troubled, and complicated, but she fought for what she believed in, whether it was her team or her tribe!
In other words, Yang here takes after Raven. She plays the part of the Wise Woman who shares a part of her knowledge, but not all of it because it is dangerous:
Yang: Look, we are trusting you, so trust us when we say that Amity Tower needs to stay a secret until it's done. We just need a little more time.
Yang is clearly conflicted about this. As she is in general conflicted about Raven herself. This is shown also in another moment of volume 6:
Maria: Child, a Huntress is supposed to protect others to the bitter end. But after I lost my eyes, I only ever looked after myself. Even after my surgery, I was too afraid to fight. Afraid someone would find me again, finish what the others started. You shouldn't aspire to be like me, especially when some of you are clearly stronger already. Upon hearing this, Yang looks down sadly.
Once again it is the context and Yang's body language which drive the message home. Maria frames herself as an authority figure who fails the younger generation. She says she ran away and that the kids are clearly already stronger than her. This is bound to bring a very specific conversation to Yang's mind:
Yang: Oh, shut up!! You don't know the first thing about strength! You turn your back on people, you run away when things get too hard, you put others in harm's way instead of yourself!! You might be powerful, but that doesn't make you strong.
In short, Yang still can't fully process Raven. She can't reconcile the Wise Woman with the Terrible Mother. This is what these 2 brief moments suggest. And once again they seem lousely linked to 2 different teammates:
Blake > the girl Yang loves and with whom she wants to share a future with
Ruby > Yang's little sister she is determined to protect like their mother couldn't
Future and Past - 2 things Yang still has to fully deal with.
As you can see, these short scene is really full of motifs, themes and foreshadowing. Blake and Yang's arcs have been on break throughout Atlas, but the 2 girls still received moments which flesh them out and build their future storyarcs.

fuck it im having omegaverse brain rot again rn
Finally
alpha!bayojeanne x gn!omega!reader
They never thought it would happen, yet there you stand your sweet sent engulfing their senses.
Summary: Bayonetta and Jeanne have been searching for their omega for years. Learning they were fated mates caused quite a stir in covenant hundreds of years ago which started the search but as time passed they soon gave up. Especially with the encroaching war and Bayonetta being sealed away, and Jeanne dying with her soul being sent to inferno. Finding the one who would complete them became a distant memory, a goal lost in time, at least to Jeanne, Bayonetta wants to try again, after feeling a certain yearning for the past few months suddenly.
warnings: omegaverse, nsfw thoughts but no smut....yet, heats and ruts mentioned.
It was a warm spring day and Bayonetta and her mate Jeanne were traversing the city from store to store as they did on their days off.
They passed by and alpha/omega pair and a twinge of jealousy was felt through them. Though they had given up the search for their fated omega years ago it still hurt knowing they'd never get to help with a drop or during a heat. sure they help eachother with their ruts but it left something to be desired from time to time.
Of course Bayonetta knew why Jeanne was so hesitant and she didnt want to push her into it. After getting her memory back and breaking Jeanne's mind control she wanted to only focus on the other alpha for awhile. Hearing the loneliness her Jeanne felt broke her, and after nearly losing her to inferno she only wanted to focus on Jeanne but its been years and the desire for your fated ones never goes away until you are complete. No matter how much you stamp it down.
The moment passed as quickly as it came and they resumed their walk going to another store. "you know Jeanne, i think sometimes we should restart the search for our omega" Bayonetta said examining herself in the mirror as she tries on an extravagant hat. Jeanne turns from her place looking over the scarfs to look at her mate "oh dont be so ridiculous Ceraza, we'll never find them. How do we know they're even alive?" she brought up a good point. Bayonetta considered it. "You're right but I think it wouldnt hurt to try." she also had a good point. They dropped the subject for now, deciding instead to talk about the items, before going back to their shared appartment.
"you get so sentimental when your rut gets closer" Jeanne said as Bayonetta placed a warm kiss on her mating mark that sat proudly on Jeannes neck, Just below her ear. Bayonetta hummed in response "You're right, but still it would be nice to have an omega to protect, to fuck, to love" she said moving to straddle Jeanne who looked up at her black hair lover. They had been discussing the proposition over and over again since it was brought up in the store. "Let me think more about it, but you are right" Jeanne asked. she spent so long alone while Bayonetta was sealed away that she tried to find their third in the mean time but kept coming up empty. It was soul crushing for her during that time and she didnt want to go through that again. It might be easier now with her Ceraza by her side. Not as disappointing because now she would have someone to hold still during the nights when the world seemed colder and darker than before.
"Think about it as long as you want, my love, but i hope to do consider it, Ive felt a yearning for a few months now and i know you have as well, it just feels different now, like they're close" Bayonetta says, she was right about Jeanne feeling a yearning.
Jeanne looked up at her and sighed "I do feel it" it felt like she was going burst. she's hasnt felt this since before her and Ceraza were mated. she knew it meant they were close but she didnt want to be disappointed again. her own fear was standing in her way. especially since that feeling came and went.
They decided to get ready for the day as Jeanne started to get quiet and Bayonetta didnt want to push, they had talked about this topic many times but this time it was different. she understood Jeanne's hesitation despite the feeling of their mate being close. with that feeling coming and going over the past few months was concerning, it meant their mate was moving around and what if one day they never came back. Thats why she wants to find them.
Bayonetta went to the gates of hell to meet with Rodin about a job he had for her. Jeanne left to go to her day job at a school, as they both decided to meet for Dinner at a newish restaurant in town they hadnt tried yet.
After finishing beating up angels at another mobsters funeral she was meant to oversee she freshened up at home before going to the restaurant where Jeanne was waiting for her outside.
Upon entering the restaurant they were hit with a delicious fruity sweet sent. Definitely omega. All omegas smelt sweet. This one however smelt sweeter. They looked at eachother in disbelief, they were close. they're omega was either here or frequented the place.
They were lead to a table by a waitress, not their mate but a very cute omega regardless.
they looked over the menus but couldnt focus as the scent of gummy candy invaded their nostrils. they stumbled through their drink orders finding it incredibly hard to focus.
Abandoning the menus they looked around the place not seeing anyone looking as effected as them. if they could smell their omega their omega could smell them, Bayonetta's chocolate scent and Jeanne cinnamon scent but no one else was looking around.
some time passed as the pair grew increasingly frustrated with the fact they couldnt see their mate. they managed to order but neither ate anything. they were going to leave and come back thinking they frequented this place often but wasnt there at the moment, when an omega slammed through the kitchen door causing a loud bang. they were quite cute. they had s/c and h/l and h/c. their eyes scanned the dining room. they looked frazzled like they had been stressing. An alpha followed behind them and trying to talk them back into the kitchen. they werent wearing anything a cook would were. they were wearing (preferred outfit), not very suitable for restaurant work, especially one of this setting.
The omega ignored the concerned ramblings of the alpha as their eyes landed on the pair of witches. they gave a small smile before looking quite scared? and running back into the kitchen. the entire dining room had turned when the doors slammed open. everyone started whispering about what that could've been.
Bayonetta and Jeanne looked at eachother concerned and without talking agreed on their next move. Both slipped away to the bathroom. Normally they dont care who sees them use their powers as they slip into purgatorio but usually theres a lot of commotion and destruction happening. in quiet situations like these it would raise alarm if 2 women summoned glowing portals and then disappeared.
once in purgatorio, they made their way into the kitchen where their mate was hiding. the room was bustling with cooks working and the chef moving through looking over work.
The pair of alphas made their way to back where the scent of fruity candy was the strongest. the loading dock. there the omega was sitting seemingly having a panic attack as the alpha who had been behind them was trying to calm them. the scene angered the pair, Jeanne moreso than Bayonetta who wanted to listen in so she stopped Jeanne from doing anything.
"i told you not to go out there y/n" the alpha said, "you told me you werent ready yet and that you didn't want to be with an alpha, and as your brother its my job to protect you" he continued.
the omega looked up "their smells are overwhelming, i couldn't control myself, i needed to see, they're beautiful, i dont know what to do b/n, i think im gonna drop, i want them to be here but they're gonna reject me, i just know it" they said trying to calm themself but finding it increasingly difficult.
"what do you need" b/n asked. "i need them but" "how about some juice? and im sure they wont reject you, take a drink, calm down and then you'll go introduce yourself, im sure theyre still out there trying to figure out whats wrong ok?" the omega nodded starting to calm.
"they're scared of us" said Bayonetta looking to Jeanne. Jeanne looked statue still gazing at their mate. she wanted nothing more than to reach out and touch them.
In hundreds of years, They never thought it would happen, yet there you stand your sweet sent engulfing their senses.
Just as they were going to turn back and go into the restaurant to wait for you to come to them, the heavens started to sing as those winged pests Affinity approached.
the alphas made an annoyed sound as they summoned weapons.
Before either of the witches could react one of the morons swooped in and grabbed their omega from where they sat. which effectively managed to scare the poor thing enough they pass out.
The pair wasted no time jumping into action beating down the angels faster than they could ready their weapons. The 2 were fueled by the anger of these pests thinking they could put their hands on whats theirs.
eventually they got through the other angels. now focusing their attention to the one holding their omega who had yet to regain consciousness.
Jeanne rushed it while Bayonetta waited to catch their mate, having stepped out of purgatorio to do so.
They fell right into Bayonetta's arms who immediately went down to her knees so she could cuddle them close easier. Once Jeanne finished ripping apart the last Affinity she joined her mates.
The pair was in awe of the omega still cuddled close to Bayonetta's chest. Jeanne reached out hesitantly as if they would disappear if she moved to fast, and touch their cheek gently.
They started to stir, coming to. y/n opened their eyes which were unfocused at first. when having refocused they saw the two alphas looking at them warmly and concerned. they sat up out of Bayonetta's hold and looked at the two of them. "w-what are you two doing here? how did you get back here? was i in the air???" the omega rattled off question after question before the warm scent of Jeannes cinnamon and the rich chocolate of Bayonetta calmed them.
they let the alphas bring them back into their hold. "we'll tell you everything in due time, little one" bayonetta said trying stroking their hair.
soon enough the omega was calmly sleeping and they went back into purgatorio just as y/n's brother came back through the door holding a few bottles of juice, "i forgot to what juice you wanted, then dad wanted to talk to me sorry it took so long-" he stopped looking at the sleeping form of his sibling.
The pair of alphas made their way back to a place they could quietly come out of purgatorio.
Before long their omega left the kitchen calmly and came over properly introducing themself. the three mates had a lovely conversation, the only mention of the back was when the omega said they had a dream about them as they came out of their drop. the two apologized for not being there as the omega assured them it was ok and they're the one who ran away.
Eventually the three parted ways with phone numbers exchanged. they talked through the night on the phone, lets be for real. as their omega wanted to take things slow. the two witches didnt show their disappointment but they waited hundreds of years, they could wait a few months, plus its not like they dont know who their mate is anymore.
finally.
gonna do a part 2, thats gonna be mostly smut. i would've done it in this part but i couldn't get a good flow to do that. gonna do some headcanons also of all the characters just bc why not. even if i dont write for those characters. hope you enjoyed and that it wasnt awful, im very rusty when it comes to writing stories and i also have never been good at writing stories i feel like.

How do I write a villain my audience hates? I always see people loving on the villain but I want them to be hated, I want them to root for the heroes. Any advice?
Creating a Truly Evil Villain
1 - Give them a dishonorable motivation. Nothing makes it easier to forgive a villain than when they have an honorable motive, so if you want to avoid that, make sure there's nothing about the villain's motivation that could give the reader a reason to sympathize with them or even root for them.
2 - Give them a dishonorable story goal. In much the same way, when a villain's overall goal is an honorable one, even if they're going about it all wrong, it's still easy for the reader to say, "Well, I hate that they're doing all these bad things, but I appreciate that they're trying to do something good..." So, if you don't want that to happen, you have to make sure the goal is just outright terrible. It's the difference between blowing up a hostile neighboring planet (even though there are innocent people there) in order to save the galaxy versus blowing up an innocent planet out of greed or wanting to cause chaos or harm.
3 - Don't give them scruples or lines they won't cross. When villains have principles that keep them from going overboard and when they have lines they absolutely won't cross, it gives the reader a foothold to make excuses for them. So, if you want a really evil villain, make sure there's no line they won't cross. Make them merciless!
4 - Don't give them a weakness or a "soft side." Nothing humanizes a villain faster than showing them doting on their ailing older parent or doe-eyed child, or showing them struggling with a physical challenge or with their emotions. So, if you want a truly evil villain, just avoid those things all together.
5 - Don't give them a redemptive moment. Redemption is when a villain makes up for (or helps to make up for) all the bad things they did by making a major sacrifice to help Team Good. So, the last thing you want a Truly Evil Villain to do is to sacrifice anything to help Team Good. If they sacrifice anything at all, it should only be for their own benefit.
Have fun with your story!

What is your ideal ghostbat dynamic?
Oh it's definitely the thrice-divorced snarky middle-aged men performing intricate rituals thing they currently got going on.

Batman 2022 Annual
Bruce Wayne, being a character with almost a century of history, has beein paired with so many individuals. There's a lot of relationships he's formed over time, but a particularly interesting type is the people-who-knew-him-before-Batman category. Harvey Dent, Thomas Eliot, Zatanna Zatara, Talia al Ghul... and now Minhkhoa Khan. Obviously, quite a lot of these characters ended up as unequivocal villains Batman has had to fight (Two-Face, Hush) while Zatanna remained a childhood-friend-and-almost-lover. Talia and Khoa are more complicated; they're definitely not heroes, not exactly on the same side as Bruce. But they aren't downright villains either. The waters are more muddled. In Talia's case there's the conflict between her loyalty and love for her father, duty and legacy; this opposition to Bruce's own goals was there from the start. But (to finally get to my point with this tangent) there was no such thing with Khoa, and that's basically my main draw to the ship. Bruce has other people that know him as just Bruce and not Batman, or as the in-between (all unique and complex relationships in their own right), but I can only think of Khoa as someone who was present for Batman being forged. While Talia was there when Bruce was training, she didn't share the same goal of combating crime, but Khoa did. For someone so desperately lonely as Bruce is, having someone to share that road with meant so much. Not only that, Khoa contributed to the formation of Batman by engaging him in the wild competitive streak they share, by pushing Bruce to rise to his level.
Hence... the unique kind of familiarity they have even decades later, despite the numerous betrayals along the way. That's an ideal component to me-- Bruce feeling like he can easily be himself. It's a rarity to him, since he plays so many different roles to many different people. And after Alfred's death, someone so important who knew him utterly and supported him from the start, he clearly missed it. It didn't really matter that Khoa killed dozens of people when he showed up in Gotham and literally declared he'll traumatize Bruce by killing a kid in front of him (which he probably would have done, if Harley hadn't managed to be as persuasive as she was). After Selina leaving him, Dick getting shot, his own father and Bane taking his city away, Alfred dying, losing his fortune and Joker War happening... myeah, I really feel like Khoa showed up at the perfect moment.
Which leads me to another component of their dynamic that I favor, and that's both of them being manipulative assholes and equals capable of kicking each other's asses. Why did Khoa show up with all of his resources after Joker War specifically? Why did Bruce ask him to stay so readily, forgoing the things Khoa had done? Hah. Khoa's undoubtedly been obsessed with Bruce, if keeping tabs on him and seeking out Jonathan Crane to learn fear and hell, even getting a sidekick to mirror Batman having a Robin is any indication. He gets to be close to Bruce and potentially ingratiate himself to him while fully knowing Bruce is using him, and Bruce knows it too-- but he's still allowing himself to depend on Khoa's resources and on him becoming part of Batman Incorporated and the more extended Bat-team. Khoa's always been manipulative; wonder if Bruce ever found out that in The Knight #4, Khoa was the one to tell those assassins Bruce's location, thus orchestrating a situation in which Bruce would finally accept to take him with him. But then, while they were training with Avery, Bruce was manipulative back, and you can literally see Khoa falling in love over it in The Knight #5, after Bruce distracts him with flirting and then steals the book.
At the end of the day, Khoa is a psychopath; perhaps not the sadistic kind, but he still operates as one, and Bruce can not only handle it, but he can handle it well. He's proven himself to be an equal, someone who challenges Khoa to improve and become better. Thing is, psychopaths overlap with narcissists a lot due to a basic reason. For neurotypical individuals, empathy acts as a way to see conspecifics as others, but like-minded others. You see other people think and emote like you, and you register them as human beings just like you. 'I feel what you feel, therefore we are the same.' But psychopaths work differently, in the sense that they often have excellent cognitive empathy, but a dulled affective one. They can tell how people think, but emotionally these things don't resonate with them-- the consequence being that they don't easily register others as equals, like-minded others. It's easy to then see yourself as the most valuable individual ever, as the center of the world, because you haven't truly ever shared that world. Which is why, when a psychopath meets someone they can relate to... they don't just relate, they become obsessed. Much like Khoa has. If all your life you felt you're separate from everyone else, having this kind of connection is life-changing, and you'll do whatever you need to preserve it. Including manipulative and murderous acts. But that's fine, because Bruce is attracted to this kind of thing. He himself has thought at some point about a woman (Jezebel Jet) that he should've known she was villainous and would betray him, because he had been attracted to her. I could get into Bruce's dating history and what it says about his preferences, but 'nuff said.
...Anyway, this got away from me, Anon :)) You probably didn't expect a whole-ass essay, but I hope you enjoyed reading through my personal take on them. I really like Khoa's character, since it's not often you get a morally-grey and complex psychopath like him, in comics. But to summarize my answer, my ideal Ghostbat dynamic is definitely one based on them being equals who know each other on a fundamental level, capable of handling both the good parts and the bad parts of the other; the one that solidified after decades of a push-and-pull between their core principles and ideals.

I do enjoy being able to make a difference in people's lives, whether that's helping them with a big discovery, reassuring them that they're not the only ones with a particular experience, sharing a tip they find helpful, or just letting them know that, hey, plurality exists! Here are some basic terms for it! Here is how it applies to what you were talking about and why I think you might like to know about it! ... All of that fills me with pride.
But... sometimes I really hate that being myself like this is a radical act. That a lot of the work I do is really nothing more than unabashedly being myself for others to see, and the implications that has on how little plurality is known, how unsure and afraid so many of us are, how many misconceptions and assumptions are made about being more-than-one. That who I am is something I have to educate others on, something I have to be cautious about opening up to others about, and not something I can just casually mention. I'm happy that people can learn about plurality and themselves through my actions, but... it's bittersweet, because it reminds me of how unknown we are; that we have a long way to go in terms of awareness and acceptance of even the most clear-cut, well-known, easy-to-understand presentations of plurality.
I'm not new to this conundrum. Long before we started working with the plural community, we've been hanging out in queer communities, especially aspec communities. If I had a cupcake for every time I heard a "bringing out the PowerPoint to explain my sexuality/gender identity" joke, I'd have enough cupcakes to fill up the entire dessert table at a potluck, and probably have some spill over the edges onto the floor.
It's just... sometimes I fantasize about laws for plural rights and protections being passed. The work it will take to reach that point* is so daunting, and while I am hopeful about reaching it in my lifetime, it doesn't change that I am currently a tired uni student who is still trying to figure out what to do with my career. I am writing analyses on medical texts that mention DID in-between my assignments for class. I am posting jokes about my system when my fatigue leaves me lying at the top of the stairs, unable to do anything but scroll on my phone. There is so, so much to do and I am so, so limited in what I can do.
* to me, this point in plural activism and progress is half symbolic and half a literal goal I hope we achieve together. Symbolic, because at that point, we will have made such significant strides in awareness in acceptance that even politicians and government authorities cannot ignore us any longer. Literal, because pluralphobia and its parent bigotries are still serious problems, and I'd like to hope legal protection would improve at least some systems' lives.
My system is so important to me. I don't hate them. But sometimes I hate that the world is at odds with us. Sometimes I hate that I can't just be.
[I'm not giving up any of the work I'm currently doing, if that was a concern any of you had while reading this. I've just been thinking about how] the plural community is one that never really feels quiet in the way other communities I've been in feel quiet. There's always this underlying feeling, this go-go-go attitude, this sense that one of the main reasons we stick together is because no one else gets it, and we're constantly fighting against the tide for a moment to breathe. We're not constantly drowning – I see many stories of acceptance and support out there. But we're a community very aware of the water snapping at our heels, I'd say.
Goodness, I love the work we are all doing. I love each and every story of success. But sometimes I wish we could all have a quiet night in.

okay I just have to say this because I have been thinking about this for the past week since the image of elody finding gerard's cold dead froggy body, the heel of cinderella's glass slipper sticking out of his chest, first entered my mind and now its canon and I don't know how to deal with this. elody lost her husband. their relationship was messy and complicated and it wasn't all or even mostly good, but that doesn't make the loss any easier. because once upon a time, gerard was her best friend. he was her other half, the person she wanted to share the rest of her life with. and a part of her did begin to grieve this loss long before breath left gerard's body. for a very long time she has mourned the relationship and the life that she thought that she would have. and when he died, any hope of resolution or even just closure died with him. she was just left with all of the things that she never said and all of the things she never heard from him.
but then there he is. they're in a different realm and doesn't look the same as he ever did in their realm, and she knows that he holds the same memories as her gerard, but for a moment she can distance herself by pretending this gerard isn't her gerard, but when he starts to speak, it's not even the words he says, it's the way he says them, and she can't pretend anymore. and suddenly he's standing in front of her, saying all of the things she'd never dreamt he would say, that he was sorry and that he should have been by her side, but she doesn't even know what to do with that now, now that's he's died, now that she's mourned him, now that he's standing front of her living once again
On a separate note, I think it's very possible even likely that elody does know the princesses' real goal and agreed to it. because someone who was just destroyed by the sight of her dead husband's body isn't in the right headspace to make the kind of decision like "hey there's a big red button that will end the universe and therefore all suffering will you help us press it?" there is no elody more hopeless than one who grew to resent this man she once loved so deeply because he refused to fight only to find him dead in battle. she found her cowardly husband not just slain but having taken the heel of cinderella's glass slipper into his own chest to ensure that the fairy godmother could not cause any more harm. why wouldn't she lose faith that there was a purpose for existing?
The question now is whether or not gerard alive again, telling her he wants to make things better, is enough for her to believe again

hiya!! I absolutely love your stuff, I was just curious is there more info on morang and kapone’s relationship? Just small facts or anything, I think they are a sweet pair to see :^D like em a lot
thank you!! i like them too :] I could mention about how they meet first
morang and kapone meet as adults in GA time period, during organised events between kyhuine and maanuls colonies. Where the goal is to exchange several willing members of respective colony with the other. Essentially at opposite species colony the exchanged members just learns the others culture and the way of living of their bigger/smaller cousins. One of the several tactics colonies agreed upon to introduce one another, exchanged members would be taken in charge by chosen community "teachers" from the colony they're staying at (person who takes in charge is fluent in the language of opposite species).
You could almost say its like summer camps, they'd stay there for a month or more, come back home to talk about how pleasant it was and how different they are. Some would sometimes come back to give news to family but still travel back because they've fallen in love with the practices, culture, all the differences and so on. Or because they've found a partner there, and they decided to live at the other's place. Because, yes while GA starts with war and ends with it, not every colony were under the two war faction controls and others were lucky to be able to function the way they wanted, and said colonies who were free would then do stuff like the colony member exchanges i mentioned, to learn and understand this new species they've learned about at the end of AOS. BUT im babbling now, back to morang kapone, this was for context
Morang and ak'laam, whos previously studied kyhuine language volunteered to be part of the group that will welcome and guide exchanged kyhuine members coming to their colony, morang was in charge of kapone and that's how they first meet. While the person in charge of 1-3 people does most of the work, welcoming kyhuines/maanuls into colony is something every members should take part on, offering gifts and being overall nice. But yeah, morang teacher her culture (western maanul in this case), her food, her language, showed ceremonies, shared songs, thought her the animals, the way maanuls preach the ocean and the religious myths surrounding it and how the weather is vastly different. Essentially they bond and get closer during this moments, and while she would've loved to teach kapone how to swim so she could show her the wonders of the reefs near home, kapone is a kyhuine, and they hate the feeling of being wet and plus they dont have an oil gland that they can coat their feathers with, so when wet kyhuines are soaking and heavy. they're from desert so they never experienced being in water before.
In return kapone would help her with accent when speaking in her language, cause yes fun fact morang's language when speaking kyhuine language sucks a bit, but ak'laam quite fluent. She'd describe how home was like for her, eventually when kapone goes back to home colony morang goes with her because she wants to see kyhuine life and habitats. Like morang did, kapone nows the one who teach her and bring her to ceremonies and events in colony to show her.
They end up visiting each other's place frequently, usually staying several weeks or months at one's colony. Firstly for expanding their knowledge and view of world, then they'd do it just because they wanted to see each other's. I'd say, 2 or 3 years after they've meet is when they became romantic mates, but yeah that's in short how they meet.
Did one move out to the other's place permanently? Not really, morang says her heart belongs at sea so she never permanently moved to be where kapone originates from. Both just spend time at each other's place alot but they never move out forever, tho kapone stays at morang's place the most but she regularly visits her home family.
Even on the discussion of burial they won't be togheter at death (first off cause kyhuines live longer) and because they agreed that morang will have the traditional maanul burial at sea (about burials, I'd suggest to not go read the old ask answer because I'd like to publish an updated text about it soon), and kapone will be burned after death. They agreed on having memorial wall paintings of them togheter to celebrate the time they had with those temporary vessels, while death can be scary it's not the end to them since they believe that they'll find each other's in every next lives, every time their respective diety will give them a new vessel to explore the world again, whenever that would be as a plant or any animal, they'll find each other's each time without even knowing.
Fun fact, since maanul and kyhuine size differences is quite big, in the home of kapone (which is quite narrow) morang's head would rub against the ceiling so she'd move around all crunched down head low

(I took a screenshot to keep the post short)
I agree that, when push comes to shove, keeping Powder (and anyone else who is close to her) safe is her top priority. But when she isn't protecting those she loves, I see her as someone who cares about protecting the Undercity as a whole, as Act one demonstrates:
Tumblr media
Claggor: What if Vander finds out we're all the way out here? Vi: Look around you. You think anyone topside's going hungry?
Tumblr media
Vander: We stay out of Piltover's business. Vi: Why? They've got plenty while we're down here scraping together coins. When did you get so comfortable living in someone else's shadow?
Tumblr media
Vander: We make ourselves a problem for Piltover and they will send the enforcers. Vi: So? Why answer to them? These are our streets. Someone should remind them of that.
Tumblr media
Vi: ...and one day, this city's gonna respect us.
Tumblr media
Vander: No one is taking anyone. Vi: It's already happening, you heard them. We need to fight back. And if you won't, I will.
Tumblr media
Vi: What I don't understand is how you can work with them. We were here, we saw what they did. I grew up knowing that I'm less than them. That my place is down there. I want Powder to have more than that and I'm willing to fight for it.
Vander: So was I. I was angry, just like you. I led us across this bridge, thinking things could change. If I hadn't your parents would still be alive. I know you wanna hurt the topsiders for what they've done to us. But who are you willing to lose?
I expected a continuation of this theme in the rest of the series, but after the end of Act 1, Vi's primary goal shifted from fighting for the Undercity to reuniting with Powder. Nevertheless, we see her desire for justice resurface in this scene:
Tumblr media
Vi: You ever been to Stillwater? Jayce: No. Vi: So you just wave an arm? Have someone dragged off, don't bother to find out what it does to someone being stuffed in a stone box for weeks or months or even years?"
As well as this one:
Tumblr media
Vi: You've always been a part of this, you've just never had to look it in the eye. One dead kid? There's hundreds more where he came from thanks to Silco and thanks to people like you who stuck their heads in the dirt.
The only difference is, Vi has now realised that it's not as simple as Piltover vs Zaun. There are good AND bad people on both sides.
This and the fact that Vi's main goal shifts away from fighting for the Undercity is what makes her seem "apolitical" in acts 2 and 3. At the moment, Ekko, Silco, Sevika and Viktor are better representatives of revolutionaries because their goals have stayed the same for several years and they've made actual progress in reaching them.
"Vi cares about individual people...more than she cares about...oppression of Zaun" is currently the case. But I don't think she's ever NOT cared about the other Zaunites who were negatively impacted by Piltover. Act 1 shows that.
Since then, as you say, Caitlyn has proven to Vi that her opinion of a place isn't always a reflection of an individual from that place's character. So yes, I agree she has no loyalty to Zaun ANYMORE. Despite her initial stubborness, her philosophy has evolved. Her loyalty now lies with those who share her ideals and values, whether or not they're from the Undercity. And yes, this includes Caitlyn.
We are yet to see if she applies this same philosophy to her sister, who's values have turned out very different from hers. And if it so happens her sister isn't her main goal anymore in season 2, her focus might shift back to implementing justice, this time not just for those in the Undercity, but for Piltover as well. And what better way to achieve that than becoming an enforcer?

Did you have any experience or did you learn any knowledge that helped you to improve your deduction skills extermely in a short time or immediately? It can be one of your theories(building, timeline etc.)or experiences.
Okay so, this is post-answer Damian here, this turned out to be a massive answer to your question, so uuhhhh, have fun (?)
Hello! So before i answer this question let me just say, please don't try to speedrun deduction, i don't know if that's where you're going with this question, but doing so it's like trying to speedrun playing an instrument, you'll just end up with a nice party trick instead of an actual skill. So yeah, with that out of the way, onto the actual answer
So yes, i have found a few things that helped me sort of "boost" my learning of deduction at different stages, i'm still finding things like these today. These are like moments in your learning progress where everything you've learned up to that point just sort of clicks, and to be completely honest a lot of my theories come from those moments. I do genuinely believe that these moments are different for everyone, since everyone takes different paths to learning deduction and everyone has different moments of clarity where everything they've been trying to learn just settles into your brain, and it's suddenly all understandable. For this reason i won't necessarily explain what experiences i had or what things i learned that prompted this (also because that's why i post my theories, since they're a product of these moments, and i still have at least one you haven't seen yet), but rather i will share how i got to these moments
For me a tool that i used and still use to get me to these moments is analyzing other people's deductions, and bare with me cause this might sound like complete nonsense but trust me, this is really a good tool. You can analyze actual, real deductions, but unfortunately it's very hard to analyze an actual deduction, because the deductionist has to provide the reasoning behind it, and for some reason that's something a lot of deductionists nowadays seem to be allergic to doing. This is why i provide the reasoning to every deduction i post here if i have the reference picture of what i'm deducing (the grand total of two i've posted so far... slowly but surely). As an alternative, and something i do a lot, is analyze deduction scenes from BBC Sherlock, i've always said these scenes are an almost perfect portrayal of what actual deduction looks like
Now, let me be very clear (and go on a slight tangent to justify what i just said). A lot of people in the deduction community will give you the typical advice of "Sherlock Holmes is fiction, keep that in mind, he is the perfect deductionist, and trying to be on his level is an unachiavable goal!", and i get where that sentiment comes from, but i fundamentally disagree with it. Sherlock, at least the BBC version, is definitely fiction, but it was written in a way that aligns very well with how actual deduction works. In deduction you're presented the effects of something, and it's your job to trace that effect to it's original cause. Writers go through this process too, they have an effect they want (a murder that looks a specific way, or a killer that works in a specific manner, or even just a way for Sherlock to know John is an army doctor), and they have to come up with a plausible, believable way for that effect to work, a cause for it. By doing this, Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss stumbled upon some unbelievably realistic portrayals of what deduction looks like
Now, this is not to say that Sherlock isn't fiction at all, there is definitely fiction in that show (starting with the actual cases), there are definitely ficticious parts in the portrayal of deduction, but the fiction (in deduction specifically) doesn't come from the skills Sherlock displays, or from the mental processes he uses, but rather from the situations he finds himself in. Sherlock, in that show, always has all the specific information he needs for his deductions to come to fruition, he always has the necessary clues to get to a specific conclusion, and this is not something you're going to find in real life. That being said, if a deductionist were to be presented with the same information Sherlock is presented with, there is no reason why they shouldn't be able to make the same deductions he makes in that show. So keeping this in mind, we can take that show and analyze the processes Sherlock goes through, analyze the methods he uses, and apply them ourselves, or learn things about actual irl deduction from them
So, rant over, let's get into how to actually analyze a deduction, from Sherlock or otherwise. This something i haven't yet figured out how to explain in a post, i actually have been toying with the idea of making a Youtube video going through how to break down a deduction and analyze the trains of though present in it's reasoning.
So i'm still working on showing you guys how to do this, what i can tell you is pay attention to what a deductionist is saying saying when they explain their deductions, not to the actual words that explain "this is how i deduced this thing", but rather how and why they arrived to the conclusions, or how and why they went a specific direction or down a specific route. You're not looking to understand E=MC2, You're looking to understand what was Einstein thinking, and how did his trains of thought let him reach E=MC2.
In every explanation of a deduction you have the input, the trains of though that input goes through (what we call The Blackbox), and the output. The input and output is what the deductionist explains, the cause and effect, the A+B=C. But The Blackbox, the process inside their brain that allows them to go through that reasoning, the tools they use to connect observations to a conclusion, keeping in mind probabilities, keeping in mind things like Occam's razor, the tools that allows them to build up from one deduction to the next, that's something much more complex to explain or even put into words, and that's what you're looking to decipher from how they deduce.
I recommend writing down the explanation to a deduction, maybe make a mind map about it, write down all the deductions into sticky notes and make them into a diagramn, identify different types of deductions, what makes them different? what makes one more or less complex than the others? why did the deductionist start with deduction A and then move on to deduction B and not the other way around? why did they start or end at a certain point? etc. this is how i arrived at my theories. My Building Theory, for example, comes from doing this and realizing that the diagramn i ended up with was entirely dependent on the deductions being stacked on top of one another, some of them literally supporting the next level. Of course once i made a connection like that one i went out and tested it multiple times, and upon seeing that it worked, boom, new theory, and these theories led to a massive boost in my deduction skills
