“Homeboys in Outer Space” (1996) which aired on UPN (the Republic Pictures of the television networks). The premise was surprisingly similar to the later “Futurama,” about an interstellar delivery service run by two hapless best friends, and a female computer named “Loquatia.”
UPN initially began as a network with a lot of science fiction shows (Deadly Games, the Sentinel, Nowhere Man, Legend) which ran on the coattails of their initial “killer app,” Star Trek: Voyager. However, the only two shows from the network’s first year to survive were Voyager (obviously) and also “Moesha,” a sitcom star vehicle for musician Brandy aimed at black audiences. Thus, in their second year, it stands to reason that UPN believed a successful path forward would be in a scifi show....that was also a sitcom aimed at black audiences.
I only have one thing to say: I just finished this book! I can't believe this at this point, but yes, I finished it. I liked this book, I didn't like this book. I would have preferred another ending, you know.
Every Friday, I have a lot of free time, so I'm going to read a book called Origin by Dan Brown. I bought both books last year because of their summary. I'm afraid. I don't know what will happen within it.
I would rather not have expectations. That book is longer than the last one. I hope I won't delay to finish it.
I did a ship while i was waiting for my teacher for my class night. It's cute, right?
Well, what can I say? The best place to study is the library. I guess I need a new place to make peace with myself. I always see how girls post how study in cafes and libraries and I didn't know if it was a better idea to do that, and these weeks I confirmed it.
After class, my friends and I decided to get pizza, I haven't eaten pizza for so long, it was delicious! This place has opened recently nearby my university.
I hope my studies go well this cycle, it's one of the last ones, haha.
