early morning virtual lecture / late night choreography conception

25 JANUARY 2024 | 34/100 DAYS OF PRODUCTIVITY

rainy day today so i went to my 8:30a physiology lecture online

had a meeting with my advisor today - was super nervous about it but left feeling much better having a plan for my (near-ish) future

research capstone course: worked on identifying a topic for our research paper. i'm planning on meeting with my prof early next week to iron out some details and also declare my intent to write an honors thesis for my major.

had a planning meeting for a committee i'm on

went to rehearsal for a contemporary ballet piece i'm dancing in for my ballet company

working on the piece i'm choreographing for our show, writing down the theory and ironing out physical details

not as productive as i wanted to be today, but i'm probably going to be taken by the muse and stay up late night audio mixing for my contemporary piece tonight

friendly reminder that wearing a mask is an act of love!!

The good thing about fall is that the weather is amazing, even the most mundane things feel romanticized; plus, I just adore fall fashion.

My classes went from slow to super hectic way too soon, also I made a wrong move with my legs at the gym and couldn’t move it properly for two days. I ended up skipping one of my gym days after that.

I also skipped one day of classes later into the week because I felt unwell and I also had some family business to take care of. I don’t think I lost much, I did get some much needed fam-time and rest so maybe it was for the best.

My main Design studio still hasn’t gotten into the actual “design” part and we’re doing research and analyzing case studies, rooms, lobbies, and what not.

By the way, I’m almost done reading “The Secret History” and I admit I was kind of purposefully stalling reading this last part because it gave me certain feelings…. I don’t want to put spoilers here but do shoot me a DM if you want to talk about the book. :’)

I only have one thing to say: I just finished this book! I can't believe this at this point, but yes, I finished it. I liked this book, I didn't like this book. I would have preferred another ending, you know.

Every Friday, I have a lot of free time, so I'm going to read a book called Origin by Dan Brown. I bought both books last year because of their summary. I'm afraid. I don't know what will happen within it.

I would rather not have expectations. That book is longer than the last one. I hope I won't delay to finish it.

I did a ship while i was waiting for my teacher for my class night. It's cute, right?

Friday 19•3•24 | ١٩ رمضان ١٤٤٥ه‍ـ

The day is over.. I only studied 3.75 hours. This was rather frustrating and I only completed two and a half lectures out of five. Tomorrow is the night of my first exam. I hope that Allah makes it easy. Tomorrow I will finish the remaining two and a half lectures I have to take and finish studying 3 lectures of another subject. This is a lot, but I pray to Allah to give me strength, focus, and stability for this work. 🤲🏻
