You know it’d be funny if it weren’t so sad how many times the villains are the ones to attempt to open some form of dialogue.

Only for the heroes to respond “No. You hurt people. Shut up.” Or perhaps worse; “I just don’t care.”

And then wonder why they keep resorting to violence when there must be better ways available. Surely they, the heroes, take no part in fostering their belief otherwise.

I wonder if this will come back to bite them? Like eventually some of the hero kids are gonna directly ask the League to trust them to act as the next generation of heroes and guardians of society; only for the League respond:

What, you? Mr. “Come home to your abuser”? Mr. “Just be a good role model for the next generation to solve discrimination”? No, its not gonna work that way Ms. “Consequences for your actions”. Because you’ll just say “but what about this or that or these guys who’d be inconvenienced” instead without doing anything. So no, we don’t trust you.

Because really, this stuff does genuinely make them hard to trust right now, especially when it keeps happening. And I want them to grow past that; but I also think it’d be neat if they ran into trouble for having these views at all and had to really prove they grew past them.

Smite not even really realizing Enji exists because he's untouchable

Prisoners in Tartarus were divided into six cell blocks. The most dangerous prisoners and those with the most dangerous quirks were kept in cell block B10, located 500 meters below sea level.

That's where Endeavor and Hawks were.

"Eraser told us your plan, Miss Thibodaux," Kimura said as he escorted the three women down the final stretch of hallway. "The visitation rooms are right across the hall, so you should be well within range."

"Thank you, and Seph is fine. Only my students call me Miss Thibodaux."

Kimura nodded as he stopped, opening a steel door on his right and motioning for the three of them to follow. "Once the prisoners are brought in you'll have ten minutes."

Amara stopped just inside the doorway, taking in the room around her. The walls were the same reinforced steel as the rest of Tartarus. Two steel chairs sat on the floor side by side facing a thick pane of glass splitting the room down the middle.

"Endeavor will be on the other side of that glass," Kimura continued. "It's completely bulletproof, and more importantly, fireproof. Though if he tries anything he won't get far enough for that to matter."

Amara looked up to see a security camera and four automatic turrets on the ceiling behind the glass, all pointing at the same spot on the floor.

"We'll have sensors monitoring his brain activity," Kimura said. "If he even thinks about using his quirk the turrets will activate and he'll be dead before he knows what happened."

Amara jumped slightly as an unfamiliar voice came from the overhead speaker. "Sir, the prisoners are ready."

"Understood," Kimura said. "Seph, if you'll come with me..."

I'm super glad we're not getting the whole "Enji sacrifices himself as a resolution of his redemption arc, while Dabi dies but at least gets to die with his dad" thing. I'd have hate it so much lol.

Rei Todoroki, the woman you are.

Something something if Touya gets to live because of his mom quirk, because his mom got there to help him cool down, because his siblings help too with their quirks... Thinking about Shoto refusing to use his fire quirk at first 'cause he didn't want to be like his father and Touya using his fire quirk to the extreme because he wanted to be like his father and how they always fall to their mother say when they need it the most.

MR. COMPRESS COME BACK, COME BACK WE NEED YOUUUUUUUU. BUT ALSO STAY SAFE, OKAY? STAY AWAY FROM THE MESS

Love to hear more about the Himuras.

It took several traumatic instances but Enji is finally understanding what he needs to do in order to begin his road to atonement slash redemption.

TOUYA CALLING NATSUO'S NAME.

I love fire demon Dabi wjdbdkbe.

The last panel, where Rei remembers how Touya told her it was her fault too and she let him go, broke my heart. She won't stay back this time. She won't stay sit while her son explode yet again, dragging them all with him this time.

Spinner was really educating the League on quirk discrimination and they really listened to him, uh? Like them all defending Magne's pronouns. I love to see respectful villains.

I'm glad Geten is okay. I find him intersting as a character and he didn't deserve to die.

Touya and Shouto really are TwT the fire and ice quirk villain and hero TwT two sides of the same coin TwT brothers and equals TwT

I'm tired of AFO and I wish we stay a lot on the Todorokis sjdbskjd BUT ALSO SHOW ME KUROGIRI AND AIZAWA AND PRESENT MIC AND SHOW ME TOGA AND OCHAKO AND TOMURA AND IZUKU AND AJSBSKDJ

My Hero Academia AU where Rei is part of the League of Villains:

Escaped Fujiya shortly after Touya's 'death.' (Or discharged herself and didn't go home.)

Laid low for years until recruited by Kurogiri.

Efficient assassin of the group yet unintentionally became the 'cold-hearted' Squad Mom (Meticulously making sure everyone else has enough food/water, wears their hats and mittens when the weather's cold, hyper-alert to when someone starts getting sick/injured, everyone is too afraid of her to argue.)

She recognizes Dabi, he recognizes her, they're playing a game of chicken in who directly calls out the other first.

She doesn't say much, so everyone else is debating what beef this middle-aged former housewife can possibly have with society.

Cannot be identified by heroes since ice-based Quirks are common.

Always keeps her face hidden when heroes are present.

Kinda just want to see her mop the floor with Geten and after a brutal defeat, just coldly whisper, "Amateur."

'Dabi's Dance' (Rei’s Dance?) would be interesting because realizing your dead child is back from the grave is a moment of shock and horror, but realizing you've been fighting the mother of your children this whole time is bonafide WTF moment.

Honestly, though, I picture it looking less like an unhinged speech and more like this:

So, uh, idk if Bakugo is going to end up keeping that arm. I don't think it should bend that way...

Horikoshi obviously loves Star Wars, and I feel like he might outdo Lucas in how many characters lose limbs in a franchise, depending on how this keeps going. Especially since not all of the battles are wrapped up yet.

Shoto may be the Hand-Crusher, but Horikoshi is the Limb-Taker.
