A magazine slapped down onto the table and Eddie dropped into his seat just a moment later. "Gentlemen! We enter into a new month, it is time for the ritual."

"The ritual," Dougie and Jeff echoed, rehearsed.

"Not the ritual," Gareth groaned, stabbing at his lunch. "It's going to be the same as last month, it always is."

"...what's the ritual?" Lucas asked, saying it slowly like Eddie might yell at him for asking.

"Oh, horoscopes!" Eddie opened the magazine with a grin, paging through it and clicking his tongue. "Hopefully no plagues are written in the stars."

"Horoscopes." Mike looked at him flatly. They'd only been sitting at the Hellfire Club table for a week now, and in that week, horoscopes hadn't been mentioned once. "You believe in that shit?"

"Nah. My mama loved 'em though. And it's kinda fun." He tapped the magazine on the table and cleared his throat. "We enter Libra season, may it be prosperous for our resident Libras!" He gestured to Gareth and Jeff. "It says here that Love is within reach! You just need to be brave enough to grasp it."

Gareth glanced at Jeff and scoffed. "Total bull."

Jeff grinned. "I don't know. Eddie, is this your little ploy to confess your long buried feelings for me?" He fluttered his eyelashes and blew a kiss."

"You want to be my type so bad it almost makes me love you," Eddie teased as he leaned in just a little closer.

Dustin balked and Mike had gone pink, staring down at his sandwich and refusing to look up from it. Gareth rolled his eyes again and gestured to the boys. "What are you guys? What are your signs?"

"How am I supposed to know that?" Lucas still seemed a little confused. "Is it like... by month? My birthday's in April."

"Early or late? What day?" Eddie tapped at the pages. "That'll make you either an Aries or a Taurus."

"The 8th. Early."

"Aries! According to your horoscope, you'll need to be brave and face your fears in the coming month. An emotional cold front is coming your way, young one."

Lucas glanced over his shoulder towards another table, where Max was sitting with her hood up, staring out the window at the overcast sky. "I'm pretty sure I've been facing an emotional cold front for a while already."

Dustin leaned forward curiously. "I'm a Pisces, what does it say for that?"

"Why do you know that?" Mike asked, some of his initial standoffish-ness worn away.

"Steve and Robin have this game where they make up terrible horoscopes for each other." He shrugged. "Robin's a Pisces too, and Steve is a Cancer."

Eddie hummed. "Pisces, huh?" He too a bite of his apple. "Be extra cautious with your belongings. Damn, looks like someone is going to rob you, Henderson. So the stars decree."

"So the stars decree," Dougie and Jeff echoed.

"I hate it when you guys do that." Gareth threw a chip at Jeff's head.

"Why do you think we do it?" Jeff grinned and threw the chip back. "Come on, Eddie, what's Dougie's? Something about doom and gloom, right? Something about how he's gonna die?" He laughed as Dougie kicked him under the table.

"Well, our fiery Aries friend will be facing- oh." Eddie's eyes widened a little. "It's actually not doom and glooom this month. Keep your aim true to your goals, even when progress is slow."

"Oh." Dougie nodded, considering. "That actually is kind of nice. I can live with that."

Eddie chuckled and turned his gaze to Mike, cocking his head with a smirk. "And you? Let me guess, fire sign. You're probably an Aries too. Or a Leo?"

Mike shrugged. "I don't know, end of December."

"After the 22nd?"

"Yeah."

"Capricorn, then. ...seriously? You're an earth sign?"

Mike squirmed a little under his stare. "Thought you said you didn't believe in this crap."

Eddie shrugged. "There's a little bit of truth to everything. That's what mama thought." He looked at the magazine and snickered. "This month may test your patience."

Mike hunched in on himself, glaring at Lucas when he tried to pat his shoulder. "Most months get on my nerves. This is stupid."

"Aw, he's like a baby raven," Dougie teased before elbowing Eddie. "Alright, come on man, what's yours?"

"The most important horoscope! Let's see here, Cancer says... I am invincible and nothing can bring me down. Damn right!"

"Let me see that." Jeff snatched the magazine from Eddie. "...oh. What do you know."

"The stars are in alignment for a good month ahead." Eddie chuckled and took the magazine back. He tapped it on the table before tucking it into his bag. "The ritual has been completed!"

"The ritual has been completed!" Gareth grinned as Jeff rolled his eyes.

"This is why everyone thinks we're satanists, you know-"

"Let the people think what they want, they're just mad I don't read them their horoscopes."

What a coincidence, I was literally thinking about their birthday’s yesterday. So I’m picking each one based on their zodiacs, not that I’m one of those horoscope people, but I like to over analyze stuff.

Well, here goes the list:

Asha

February 16th

Because that makes her an Aquarius. Aquarians are highly intellectual and creative. Marked by independence, they don't like to be instructed what to do. Also in @uva124 design for Asha, she has Saturn earrings because the symbolism behind Saturn is very similar to Asha’s personality, and Saturn is the ruling planet of Aquarius.

Aster

March 2nd

That makes him a Pisces, which is symbolized by two fish swimming in opposite directions, representing the constant division of Pisces's attention between fantasy and reality. They can easily become swallowed by emotions. Pisces are highly creative and imaginative, as well as compassionate and loving.

… Oh also remember to give Aster happy birthday tomorrow.

October 27th

He’s a Scorpio, and he’s not afraid to show it on his shoulder plate that has the Scorpio symbol ♏️ although everyone assumes it’s just an M. Scorpios can be very manipulative and may twist facts to suit their purpose. They also have fear of abandonment. Other animals associated with this zodiac besides the scorpion are snakes and the Phoenix. This date is also the 300th day of the year, so I think that’s fitting for him.

Amaya

August 19th

Amaya is a Leo ♌️ and that also shows in her design, she has some Leo signs on her cloak. Leos love to lead, perform, be admired and receive the praise and respect of others. They are naturally regal, and always assume a boss-like stance in any relationship or group dynamic.

Just saw the River Birthday post! Really curious how you figured it out :O and here I was convinced that he was a Leo (with a Scorpio moon) lmao.

I'm so glad you asked! The main thing I found was a shard called Horoscopes: Storyteller Group in Misty's Esoterica. It's a list of different initials with different readings but this was the one that was important to me:

If you know River...that sounds pretty accurate to the situation we meet him in. Obviously I can't explain away the "O" initial (I jokingly say it stands for "Officer"), but otherwise it's pretty damn convincing to me.

Then there's March vs April Aries, yeah? I'm an April Aries, which I will admit gives me a slight bias, but I thought it fit for a couple of reasons:

- He fits the typical dichotomy of ambitious and determined but generous and emotional. You only really see him really angry like once, but it's a scary.

- Him ramming through the gate to the farm? That's Aries behavior. Same thing with the Animals. He doesn't go in until/if you get caught, then he's running in full force.

- His feelings in general are very loud, but he can gauge and circle away from it like nothing happened. My first playthrough, I was already locked in with Judy, so I turned him down on the water tower. And when you turn him down, he switches off IMMEDIATELY. Changes back to a safe zone. He also does that when you talk about Yawen. I'm not sure if it's because you start acting jealous or because he thinks you're "on to him", but regardless he immediately reels it back with a joke.

I just vibed my way to "somewhere in the middle of April", but @fly-amanitaa was the one who came up with it being the 15th exactly.

Also, before I found the shard I also thought Leo! I got fire sign vibes because of those loud emotions, plus the lion thing he's got going on hello cyber Cullen Rutherford. With the icon we now have if you call him during the Tower ending, a motif is clearly there. But, to me, the lion guy also being a Leo feels overdone. I could be wrong, and honestly wouldn't be all that surprised if we ever end up finding out his real birthday that he's a Leo. I would be sad, though, because well.... everything else I just said!

I had never gone so far to determine a moon sign, but I might look into that now 👀

But since Dec, it’s been moving direct. At the end of this month, Jupiter will leave taurus. It’ll be 12 years until Jupiter enters taurus again. Taurus squares Leo, so generally this is a good thing for most leo risings.

Jupiter will be entering gemini/your 11th H around 25/27 (depending where you live). This brings expansion to your social circles. You may become close friends with people who are like mentors to you. They can pass down knowledge that can help you in your career. 11th House is our social awareness & humanitarianism too. You may become more interested & educated on social issues. This is from May 2024-June 2025. A specific few may want to volunteer or educate other’s on these topics. 11th is your goals too, you may achieve some goals this year and create new. Or expand current dreams/goals to be even bigger. I see many leo rising getting their dream jobs this year.

But keep in mind Jupiter is not comfortable in gemini. Jupiter is the mentor/educator. Gemini is the curious, witty but mischievous student. Jupiter wants to help gemini but gemini doesn’t want to sit in a classroom and be lectured at by Jupiter. Jupiter sees the bigger picture and wants to share this with gemini. But jupiter talks too much and takes forever to get to the point. So gemini gets bored, loses interest & asks distracting questions.

This isn’t a diss at gemini placements. This is an explanation for why Jupiter in gemini is in detriment. Some energies don’t mix well and end up creating conflict/tension.

The negative outcomes of this can be encountering people who are being decitful. You may notice in general people in your social circles can be cheating, lying or even stealing. People are generally just up to no good. This may not mean you are the victim of their harmful actions but you overhear gossip. Your friends and/or their partners could be hiding their true character.

Mars is coming into its home sign of aries. He hasn’t been home in 2 years. When mars arrives home, it will find mercury is there in aries too. Mercury has been in retrograde causing you to reflect and clean up on 9th house topics. Ex: Academics, religion/spirituality, travel plans, publishing, etc.

Mercury and mars together is powerful. Now that the retrograde is over, mars will encourage mercury to be direct. Say what it is you want. Be decisive. This is great for planning trips, picking majors or programs or even deciding it’s not for you. Watch out for being aggressive and impulsive though. North node is here in aries too. North node is malefic, it encourages expansion but it is never satisfied. You could get exactly what you want and the north node will tell you it’s not enough.
