It’s weird because the type of story they want for Izuku is basically every other Isekai anime out there so they could watch those instead and leave the MHA fandom

they just need to lower their expectations for Deku, and stop trying to paint him as something he’s not.

It’s the exact reason why we see them praise Deku’s Vigilante arc so much, saying it’s when he was at his best… you know, when he wasn’t eating, or bathing, practically deteriorating, and at his lowest mental state. But it was a glimpse into what they expect for him, which then immediately gets shut down by Horikoshi bringing in class 1-A and the idea that you can’t do things on your own because it’ll contribute to your downfall. Which they also complained about, saying the class slows Deku down, and minimizing it to “the power of friendship”

Not me writing an in-universe justification for why Muscular was where he was during the summer camp attack because putting a close-range brawler on the outskirts of the perimeter seems fucking stupid.

Did my first base BNHA icons in over 8 months bc @kibouhero​ asked me to do a one shot she scanned, and it was fun but weird, but I also realized I don’t miss it a whole lot. I miss having a profitable side hustle being the go to icon person in the BNHA rpc but at the same time I do not miss the grind I used to have doing everyone from it every single week with the manga. Sometimes I also miss the more consistent blog activity from being in a larger rpc but I also do not miss the drama that rpc came with and still has to this day. I ran off to Tokyo Revengers and Promare for a reason and I still don’t regret that decision because being in a sphere where drama just doesn’t exist inside our small circle has been worth it. It’s just sad sometimes remembering what it was like being on a well-known rp blog and being useful in a unique way to the rpc as a whole as an icon hub.

I don't think it's a dick move at all and I never got the impression that Shouto was all that happy with Endeavour but for the sake of the war he's being mature but Endeavour has let him down and it's because of Endeavour running away from his problems for a whole month which has caused this whole scenario to happen. I know what you are going to try and argue that Endeavour was out searching for Shigaraki because that is usually the number one excuse I see all the time but it's a (continue)

I mean, I guess I just don't think he should have lied then. If he's upset with Enji he should actually talk to him and tell him that, instead of pretending it's actually fine with him, while also pretty much refusing to let Enji fulfill his promise. Endeavor was willing to step up and help Shoto with Dabi, but Shoto told him, no, you're needed else where and just by you playing your part we'll be working together on this--but then turned around and made it clear he didn't actually believe that.

Part of it is also wording as it being Enji's punishment as well, because it sounds as if Shoto is going to hold it against Enji later, which to me isn't fair. Enji was trying to do the right thing, but Shoto told him no you don't have to, it's fine, you're needed elsewhere. Again Shoto should have just been honest and said that the time had pasted and there wasn't a way for Enji to keep his promise anymore. No matter the reasons, he had put off finding Touya to long and now his fire power was required for AfO.

It's not as if Shoto had to be mean about it if he was worried about it effecting Enji's fighting spirit. He just had to make it clear that the only thing Enji could do now was fight AfO because he'd already made a poor choice in the past and time had run out--it's nice that he wants to step up now, but it's just to late for that. He didn't have to lie and say it was alright and that Enji was doing his part, if that's not how he felt.

As for the whole running away thing--I accept that's what the narrative says, but I do think Hori did a poor job writing it. Like we see them looking for AfO, but I doubt they weren't looking for the rest of the LoV at the same time, sense they would be the biggest clues as to AfO's whereabouts. It's not as if Enji was getting in clue after clue about where to find Dabi and ignored it. Him texting or working with Shoto wouldn't necessarily mean that they found Dabi before the second war. Plus, given that Shoto only managed to just barely get his super move down during the month's training, he and Enji would have been going into any battle with Touya without a way to cool his flames (and Shoto might not have had the time to train at all to be able to learn it).

To me the entire thing feels like sitcom levels of miscommunication that the plot forced on them for unneeded drama. Because Enji, despite feeling guilty isn't stupid and you'd think he'd have talked to Shoto about them not finding any leads, and Shoto would be smart enough to know he needs to stay at UA to come up with a skill set that cool Dabi's flames. All It would have been was Enji being like "I'll call you if we get any leads on Touya" and Shoto would be like "I'll stay here and work on my move to stop him while you look." But instead they're both dumb and I guess Enji stuck out of the hospital to go after Deku without a word for no reason.

But the solo Deku arc had to happen, but Hori didn't just want him to run off completely by himself, so he had the Top 3+ All Might tailing him. This meant that Shoto and Enji couldn't be in contact, so that means that Enji has to ignore Shoto, which makes him mad. I say this because it's not as if Enji trying to find Touya with Shoto would instantly mean he's redeemed--he'd still have to do something with Touya first. Plus he could still get stuck on the AfO team so Shoto can get his solo battle with Touya. It was really only the Deku arc that needed Enji to give Shoto the cold shoulder and that's kind of annoying.
