Geralt, who absolutely hates it when people touch his personal belongings, has no problem with Jaskier stealing his clothes:
1. Jaskier, the idiot, never dresses for the weather. Geralt allows him to wear his clothes so the younger man won't die from hypothermia.
2. The bard looks kind of cute in Geralt’s clothes.
3. Seeing Jaskier wearing something of his makes Geralt feel hot.
4. Did he mention hypothermia already?

Earlier this summer, I entered a furious songwriting frenzy, and out of it came 22 songs inspired by the works of William Shakespeare. Here is the end result: The Work From Home Singers' Live from Verona, out September 29th.
Songs range in genre (much like the Bard's plays): "Falling Up" is a funky tale sung as the oafish Falstaff, "On a Midsummer's Night" is a jazzy tune about the events of A Midsummer Night's Dream, "Spoiler Alert" is a poppy song about Romeo & Juliet, and so on.
There's something for everyone on this album, but hopefully fans of Will's works will look past some of the inaccuracies and enjoy the music.
Pre-save Live From Verona on Spotify now, and look for it on your favorite streaming service when it drops on 9/29.

Beats and Sparks✨ CONT'D
*Playing with the idea of writing scripts as rough drafts for fiction
CHARACTERS
DARE: Vampire bard (college of whispers) about 220 years old. Long red hair, haunted forest green eyes and a cunning smile; about 5’7” He/Him
CARRI: Tiefling bard (college of spirits) reborn/undead, age unknown. Alabaster skin, white short curly hair, one white horn, one black that flows into a black masquerade mask tattoo; The "mask" is decorated with tiny ornamentations of skulls and music notes. Their eyes are a glossy gray color, but they wear a bright red lipstick on their upper lip; about 5’11” They/Them
MOOT: Satyr bard (college of glamor) think Philoctetes in Hercules, but wearing a funky patterned shirt; about 5’  He/Him
WREN: thin/lean humanoid form, she has long honey blonde hair (usually braided), warm hazel eyes, and their pale skin seems somewhat translucent with a dull radiant light emanating from within; about 5’6” They/She
SCENE 1
INT - The Last Drop’s basement venue
Post-show (like 2am) breakdown stage - dancefloor is empty but patrons loiter on the balcony and in the back alley; the tavern upstairs is busy. Carri’s zombie entourage are helping pack up equipment and load it back into the Pocket Hole, while Carri is busy entertaining a handful of excited fans (recent additions to the growing student population of the Keen Observatory College); Carri balancing on the edge of the stage. Moot enters from backstage, post shutting down the lights and various stage effects.
[the (college) students are listening enraptured as CARRI tells an outlandish tale of an unmasking. MOOT walks up and listens to the end of the story, also curious. Waits a beat or two]
MOOT: clears throat Hey Carri, sorry to interrupt but that was an incredible show! Never had anything like you and your music come through here before. And let me tell ya this stage has seen some shit ya know? [laughs to himself - Carri rolls their eyes slightly and gestures for the “Fanclub” to wait a moment] Anyway, here’s your cut for the evening [hands over coin purse (125 gp)] and drinks are on the house for the night.
CARRI: [lightly tosses the coin purse for weight, then throws it into the Pocket Hole still up on the wall. Runs a hand through their white curls] Thank you Moot. I hope more of my outstanding performances will grace this stage (sickly sweet). And maybe next time you and I can practice some stage effects [mouth curls in slightest of sneer].
M: That’d be great actually! Could maybe get some floating illusion orbs from [?someone in Crescent Port?] and program some fog clouds…  continues rambling effect ideas
[CARRI tunes MOOT out and begins to scan the room, FANCLUB on the balcony by the alley door, gray eyes follow the flow of people until they find DARE, weaving his way through the crowd on the balcony toward the alley door; Wren in more sci-fi garb follows DARE closely, a smile on her lips]
M: … and I’m not sure how your crystal lights work, but I could talk to Sable and maybe we could get some display lasers? And if everything goes—
C: [interrupting] We can work out all the details later; perhaps once the next show’s fliers have made their rounds?
M: slight stunned nod [tracks Carri’s gaze to Dare just as he exits to the alley] sly smile
C: For now, I have friends to get back to.  À toute à l'heure. [turns from MOOT and pulls down the Pocket Hole (everything now back inside) rolls it up and ties it around their wrist. Exiting the stage and making their way to the balcony]
M: Yeah yeah [MOOT smiles to himself, and departs to go help tend bar]
SCENE 2
EXT Alley behind the Last Drop - purple/red neon lights and some wooden crates to sit on.
A few patrons linger back here, enjoying the cool air and clustering in small groups of intimate conversations. Dare and Wren are leaning against the alley walls, in the shadows; hands casually intertwining, they share a smoke.
The alley meets street to the left (from the stairs) going right following the building eventually curves around to street as well, little funky Y tail of the alley dead ends in between some buildings (right, then left) and is a well known spot for lovers to slip off to.
[CARRI and the FANCLUB enter from the stairs, finding a cluster of crates to sit and some smoke. Carri claims the central crate like a throne. DARE catches the noise of the group, but is happily focused on WREN; clawing hunger reaching up his throat. They both press a little further into the shadow.]
FAN1: [pulling on a vape] So how did you all get to Quelleburn Keep?
FAN2: I heard most folk who aren’t apart the trading companies found their way here in all sorts of odd ways.
FAN3 (artificer): pushes up glasses Well we are on an interdimensional island in space, so there’s probably all manner of rifts and oddities in the planes-time; not to mention the ways high level magic could –
FAN4 (the super hot one): [interrupting] Don’t be silly! Yes, this place is weird but most people have either moved here or come here to learn something; there are some apprentices at Keen who’ve been there for years.
CARRI: I wonder, of you, who has the most curious tale of coming to be here? [looks around as though daring one of them to speak first]
FAN1: grins cheekily Alright so it’s a ploy. I ask cause I’ve got a good answer.
[CARRI and the FANCLUB continue swapping travel stories of how they all found their way to Quelleburn. Carri skirts answering questions as much as possible, and takes the opportunity to direct the flow of convo. Eventually, some? of the FANCLUB will depart.]
POV SHIFT: changes from Carri and their group to just up the alley, in a little quiet nook by a tall stack of crates, Dare and Wren lean against the wall, and each other, conversing and sharing a cig. From Dare’s POV - Wren is between him and the crates, and he can see Carri (profile among the group and other patrons) to his left back toward the stairs.
WREN: [tracing lines of tension on Dare’s brow, tucking a loose strand behind his ear, before taking the cig from his lips] So how was the retrieval mission? Are you allowed to talk about it now, side smile or does the cat still have your tongue? [takes a drag and glances away]
DARE: chuckles No, the cat no longer has my tongue. I was simply acquiring a piece for Tabitha’s latest project; a fragment of some sort of large metal magic circle. Have no idea what it does, but that’s not my “specialty” according to her. [They pass the cig, and Dare takes a drag. Exhaling:] The planet it was on was a draconic ruled society. I had to get the fragment from some secret tunnels underneath a giant horde sucks teeth. Can’t say I had perfect execution [pulls back sleeve to show a set of freshly scared dragon bites along his forearm, WREN winces] but I managed it – after a few tries… [gaze falls to the ground]
WREN: [pulls Dare’s chin up and kisses him softly, her dull glow behind closed eyelids] Well, I am certainly glad you are back. [takes cig, drags, exhales] Alright, firstly let’s get you fed - you look like a ghost.  Then we’ll celebrate your safe return. [puts cig out and takes his hand, pulling Dare toward the dead end]
[DARE laughs softly and follows after her. The sharp edge of his fangs pressing into his lower lip. SUDDENLY his throat is on fire and he’s burning from the inside out; vision goes red, tunnels and eyes go black but for glowing green iris’. Dare darts forward picking her up and in a blur of motion they are in the alley’s dead end; there’s one door, a small dumpster and more crates back here. LORE: the door leads to Francis’ Infirmary and Plant Nursery]
DARE: [pressing Wren too hard against the stone wall] through gritted teeth Sorry darling.
[DARE pins Wren’s hands under one of his own, the other tips her chin back and tightens around her throat. His tongue runs along his teeth – So thirsty, a whispered thought. Teeth sink through flesh, like puncturing a grape, the fire within being met with first drops of rain; Wren flinches but relaxes as the embrace takes hold. At first the fire rises to meet the rain, and seems to burn hotter Heartbeat scales begin to tip, thirst to slake Heartbeat thick and sweet, crisp like apples Heartbeat like the first breath of oxygen in a decade H-h-heartbeat]
[DARE pulls back quickly, blinking his eyes as the black fades, and releases Wren’s hands, holding her now gently. WREN sways, and tips into him; their glow faltering.]
DARE: whispers in Wren’s ear Don’t go out on me starlight. I thought you were trying to teach me how to live [casts cure wounds]
[The wounds on WREN’s neck close to a thin pink scar, and her glow steadies. Blearily their eyes open and refocus]
WREN: [takes a long black sleeve to Dare’s chin, still groggy] Why are you always such a messy eater?
DARE: guilt knotting along his brow I’m so sorry love. Sometimes I can’t stop the thirst [Or is it more like you don’t want to?] but I can take away the pain. [hums a tone, the notes carry even after he’s sung them, sings a phrase in celestial – casts modify memory]
[spell visual]
WREN: [blinking now clearing eyes, she moans and pinches her brow] Mmm, headache… but worth it. winks
DARE: [assembling the charming veneer over his tortured emotions] As per our arrangement. winks Would you like to rest a bit dear? We do have all night.
WREN: [wraps their arms around his shoulders, and leans into him more] Yes please, she smiles, I just want to close my eyes for an hour.
DARE: [picks her up, and kisses their forehead] If you wish it.
[DARE, carrying Wren, heads back toward the stairs back into The Last Drop.]
POV SHIFT: to see Carri and FAN1 making out, as they hear movement, Carri presses FAN1 into the shadows and puts a hand over their mouth. Carri glances over as Dare carries Wren around the corner, Did he have blood on his lips? Curious.
[CARRI leans over FAN1 for a breath, meeting their imploring gaze, before suddenly releasing them and stepping back]
CARRI: rolls eyes teasingly Bored now. Allons-y [gestures for them to follow and turns back toward The Last Drop]

Their thoughts on your coven_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Owl house characters and their feelings about what track/coven your in.
Enjoy!
___________________________________________
Luz:
Abomination Track:
.Very cool 10/10, she would love watching you create miniature abominations "abomination baby's" as she calls them.
.For a while she wanted to learn abomination creation to spend time with you, but she quickly learned how hard it is to get rid of abomination goo from clothes and hair.
.She also likes helping you experiment with new abominations, creating abominations made from food or slime is always a great way to spend time together while studying at the same time.
Bard Track:
. absolutely adores your songs, she loves your talent for picking up an instrument.
.She shows you some music from her realm and gets you into some absolutely funky music, and the weirder the better. You both laugh and sing randomly together on most dates, becoming one of her favorite things to do.
.You one day step up your game to a new level and come to the owl house one night to serenade her, and she's absolutely smitten. She loves anything you play, no matter how graceful or loud you get. She totally begs you and Eda for some small lessons.
Beast keeping Track:
You scare her sometimes. Not terrifying her, but your ability to make any creature do as you say has lead to some impressively chaotic moments. From the time you let loose a cage full of ratworms free at the night market to when you somehow convinced a queen fire bee to aid your help in getting rid of a few coven guards.
.She loves all of the tiny and adorable creatures you find while out on walks. It's like you just know they're there existing, you'll impress her with all the strange knowledge of the weird creatures on the boiling isles.
.You'll randomly come across a random animal and emidately know what it is and how to care for it, find a common cave viper? New child to raise! Giant moose bear? Say no more, you'll have it on its back letting Luz pet it's tummy.
Construction Track:
.She doesn't have any strong feelings really, it's cool that you can build stuff and all but she doesn't really find it too flashy.
.She does like how easily you can lift her up though, she could never complain about that. And you can make really cool ginger bread houses which she loves to help decorate.
.She tries her best to help your poor hands, getting lotions to help your hard working hands at the end of the day. She doesn't mind how rough they are, she just likes to make you smile.
Healing Track:
.Thank titan she has you in her life. As much as you nag her about how reckless she is or how many times you have to save her from her own injury's she does appreciate it.
.Any scrape or injury she gets she comes to you, to be honest she'll use a paper cut as an excuse to see you sometimes. You don't mind of course.
.She tries to help you when she can, helping you with practice by letting you practice on her. You also teach her a few tips and tricks you've learned.
Illusion Track:
.She likes your pizzazz and performance. She's always liked the showmanship of illusions and misdirection. Even if you spooky her sometimes by popping up out of nowhere. One of her favorite things to do is to watch you preform illusions, it totally blows her mind how much you can do.
.You like to prank her on occasion, which has started some minor prank wars. Nothing has ever gotten out of hand but let's just say you both agreed to end the war by teaming up and pulling a prank on boscha. Which had gotten you both nearly killed by her, but you both still look at it foundly.
Oracle Track:
.Every date you go on usually has you reading a fortune or reading tea leaves. She sees you as wise and all knowing, so cool and smart. She loves to listen to your rants about star charts and tarot reading, even if she can't understand all of it quite yet.
.You like to tell her of how you had predicted the two of you would meet one day, though you never expected her to be human. You still surprise her with your strong intuition, she's learned to trust your intuition over the time you've been dating. It's gotten you both out of some pretty bad situations before, just cause of your gut feeling.
.You've also predicted miniscule things too, sometimes just knowing something will happen. She likes it when you tell her that she'll find something cool or that she'll meet someone who wants to bring her harm. Your so cool and she loves all of your strange practices.
Potions Track:
.She finds it cute how focused you get while making potions. She loves watching you do your homework cause it means she gets to watch and possibly help you.
.You don't let her do anything too dangerous, you mainly let her stir and mix together the simple ingredients. It's almost like cooking but with more chemicals and possible burns or injuries.
.You look super cute in your gloves and eye gear, making potions while humming a little tune. You realized how nice it was to hang around Luz while you made potions, her cheerful personality making a positive environment for both of you to work in.
.And when you aren't making potions you both like to bake something together, you of course let her lick the spoon after. But to be honest your cooking isn't as good as your ability to create elixirs. So something usually goes wrong. But that's half of the fun so she doesn't mind.
Plant Track:
.She likes it, you send her little flowers you've grown. Plus your house looks like a green house on the inside which she also thinks is very cool.
. She'll listen to your tiny explanation of what plants to avoid on the boiling isles, turns out there's a ton of people eating plants around.
.Tons of nature walks and fun hikes that end up turning into shenanigans. Anytime you visit the market you always find a new plant baby to take home, so she always has a gift idea. The only thing she could really complain about is your love for mandrakes, an endangered plant on the boiling isles. Titan help her if you see one cause she knows your going to do everything you can to take it home with you. Not that she minds, but the way they scream when you pull them out of the ground is absolutely ear destroying.
___________________________________________
Willow:
Abomination Track:
.As much as she hated the class she did meet you there. She really doesn't have any hate towards it she just was never comfortable in the class, but she's glad she went or else the two of you would have never met.
.She can't really help you with homework but she'll be your moral support and cheer you on as you make your abominations. She sometimes adds flower petals into the goo, just to make them a little bit nicer.
.You were the only one on the abomination class to recognize she didn't choose to be in abomination class, you let her rant about her difficulties and Amity. She started to get a crush on you after you promised to help her with her abomination work. And the both of you have still been together even after she switched to Plant Track.
Bard Track:
.She loves it, your voice is so smooth and makes her legs weak anytime you play her song. She loves to humm the songs you play when your not around and is there for any of your performances. Plus when you finish one of your performances she throws flowers that she grew to you.
.She actually has a pretty good singing voice, not to brag. So you both plan on entering some bard competitions at some point, with the two of you combined, you would totally rock any of the competition.
Beast Track:
.She can't lie, its a but hard to like your track. She doesn't hate it, but the creatures you work with smell awful. It doesn't keep her from loving you, but it definitely leads her to casually getting you some sort of perfume or spray to mask the beast scent.
.Don't get her wrong, she loves nature and adorable creatures. But when you've been hanging around a giant beast that has never had a bath it can be pretty disorienting. But still she loves your nurturing and caring aspect for animals.
.She gets along well with the creatures in your care, one of her favorite moments with you was when you rode on the back of a griffin together around the isles. It was like something out of a novel, absolutely enchanting.
.She really only wants to help take care of a creature if it's small and easy for her to handle, she's not very good with giant cerberus or bugs. But she won't hesitate if she feels like she can.
Construction Track:
.A buff S/O? Yes please. She absolutely adores how strong you are, your ability to create beautiful structures and architecture is amazing. She loves every plant shelf and mini greenhouse you've built her. Not to mention it's a major confidence boost how easily you can lift her up and carry her around when she's tired, it never fails to make her laugh.
.She believes you're the most creative person she's met, you have a special touch to creation that she really likes. She can't really do much to help besides hand you tools, but what she really likes to do is help paint your projects.
Healing Track:
.She really doesn't get hurt often, minus some scrapes and scratches from working with certain plants. So really she sees no big deal or anything really life changing with your track. It nice and all but it is true how much time it takes out of your day performing healing spells and making remedies.
.She knows it also pretty stressful, dealing with sick people all day with barely any breaks is rough. So she makes it as relaxing as possible for you, lavender to relieve headaches and stress, eucalyptus to release tension, and sage to lift your mood after your harder days. She wants to be there for you in anyway possible.
Illusion Track:
.She doesn't care for it. She already gets enough of Gus's shenanigans so it will take her some time to warm up to it completely. she likes a few of your more personal illusions but when you meet Gus it's going to be an interesting day for sure. Though she will admit she finds your tiny illusions cute and oddly endearing. Especially when you send her a message by a mini version of you.
. You're no longer trusted in fun houses or carnivals in general, after scaring her a couple of times in the mirror maze. You did make it up to her so she forgives you.
.She watches outside her window every night waiting to see a sparkling message in the sky created by you wishing her good night. Its very sweet and endearing reading your personal message displayed in the night sky for only the two of you to understand. She likes the little doodles you add in of flowers, meant for her obviously.
Oracle Track:
.Very nice and relaxing. Making tea together so you can read both of your tea leaves is fun, especially when it's leaves she's grown from her garden. You like to read her palm and tell her what all the little lines mean.
.She likes to visit your family owned store located in the market, you work for your family every now and then so she likes to visit and catch up with the rest of your family. She'll bring flowers to brighten up the place and spend some time with you while you work for a bit as long as it's not busy.
Potions Track:
.She's pretty hesitant at first, Boscha is in potion track and so was Eda and Lilith. Point is she's met some very interesting people from potion track. So just give her some extra time to warm up to you.
.When she can feel safe enough around you, she finds out how different you are to Boscha, you even stood up to her when she found out the two of you started dating. Once you move past the initial block of Boscha she really starts to warm up to Potion Track.
.When she finds out you can make potions for plant fertilizer it does pique her interest. Sure she could just buy some, but if you make it than it's special.
Plant Track:
. You're the first person she's introduced to on her switch to Plant Track, and emidately she has a crush. You both have a great skill with plants of course your preference of plants is very different compared to her's but that doesn't matter. It a great match for her really. You both plan on building a greenhouse attached to your house in the future, full of lush and exotic plants to raise and propagate.
.You two really just click together, anything to do with plants you can practically read each others mind, when gardening together you won't have to say anything in order fer her to know which spay or watering can you need. It's a good rhythm you two get going.
. Together you've won a couple of first and second place awards for floral arrangement competitions and plan to win more.
.You have a really good bond with carnivorous plants she finds cute, you both have a great time looking around at all the plants together at the market. Finding new plants to add to your future greenhouse.
___________________________________________Gus:
Abomination Track:
.You can be pretty intimidating at first. The first time he met you was when he had accidentally bumped into you and he felt a giant abomination hand slam him into the nearby wall. You apologized profusely right after you realized what had happened. He was pretty disoriented after getting slammed into a wall, you were so worried you had just caused him a possible concussion you took him to the nurses office and stayed with him until you were sure he was going to be okay.
.After that he wasn't sure what to do, you acted on impulse but it still hurt pretty bad. He wasn't upset or scared he was actually pretty impressed. The only other person he knew who could do abomination magic like that was Amity. So he decided to confront you at lunch and give you a second chance.
.You were surprised to see him and once again you apologized, promising to make it up to him somehow. He sat down at your table and tried to get to know you better, and the rest was history. You were actually pretty fun to be around when you weren't accidentally slamming into a wall, but now he knows not to startle you.
.He still finds your abominations to be extremely impressive and unique, the way you make giant limbs out of goo is slightly terrifying but cool at the same time.
Bard Track:
.He probably won't really care if you're just a run of the mill bard, but say you're into something with more of a kick like rock or metal and you'll have him at every concert and practice section he can get to.
.Luz might of shown you what a radio is, and you would be completely entranced by rock and punk music, determined to be the first bard to preform music like that. The first time he heard you play it was so surreal, he felt his heart pulse to the beat and his body want to flip out. It was crazy, and even more crazy when he heard you sing. It blew his mind, hed never heard music like yours before and he had a taste for it ever since.
.He's extremely supportive and cheers you on like nobody else. Even when you practice he will usually bring out his flags to motivate you. .
He's the master of flashy magic, he can create illusions of fog and fireworks for any of your performances. He really likes to help you with getting peoples attention, cause you deserve it. So he makes some really cool special effects, anything from confetti to glowing lights. He's totally your hype man and gets you confident enough to show off your music.
Beast Track:
.He doesn't care. Animals are cool and all, he's just never gotten overly excited about them. You have tried introducing him to a few creatures, but they just kind of do their own thing. He hasn't had a pet before and isn't looking for one now so he'll let you handle all of that and chill in the back for a bit.
.You have saved him from a few house spiders before, which he's grateful for. Your his savior when it comes to bugs.
Construction Track
.This string bean makes a great match for someone like you who could possibly chuck him in the air. He knows nothing about architecture or buildings, but you both have fun messing around and making some pretty strange things out of rocks and stone. Random pillars and statues can be found in the forests of the boiling isles from your dates.
.On dates you'll find a quiet spot and build small monuments like little statues of you and Gus together, he'll use an illusion or two for you to use as a model. When it snows you make elaborate snow forts and have extreme snowball fights, creating walls of ice and Gus turns invisible making it an interesting battle.
Oracle Track:
.He thinks is neat, just expect for him to ask you random questions on what his day will be like or what will happen later. You oftentimes have to explain you don't know everything the future holds, just that you can get premonitions and visions of important events leading to the future.
.He still asks tho no matter how many times you explain it. He doesn't understand a thing about astrology or house signs but he likes hearing you do your best to explain it to him.
.The biggest question he ever asked was on a very intimate date, he wanted to know how long your relationship would last. As much of a huge question it was, You already knew the answer. But you obliged him and preformed a reading for him, revealing enough to give him the answer by showing bits of your future you had learned while still keeping his a surprise for the most part. Getting married, living together, staying by each others side. It was all clearly there, and he was estatic. Knowing that you would be together for the rest of each others lives was one of the best feelings he had ever felt.
Potions Track:
.Not bad, he knows that there's a potion for pretty much anything so that cool. He occasionally asks you to make a potion or two for an illusion but other than that there's not a ton to do. He likes being your "Taste tester" of sorts. Trying your non lethal potions and reviewing them. His favorite potion you've made is one that gives him strange features like animal parts, duck bills, griffin wings, bull horns. It's fun to see what he gets every time, and never fails to make you laugh.
Plant Track:
.Plants are cool but he doesn't have anything to add.
Illusion Track:
.Not bad at all. You two would make one heck of a team, with both of you being illusionist you could do so much together. You would help his hype for sure, the two of you would be great performers.
.Sending each other little messages via illusions, distracting each other in class, grand displays of affection, and a ton of support from each other makes you two a great match. Any spell you two cast you usually cast together in perfect unison and is extremely convincing how life like the illusions can be.
. When you two dance its always an amazing display, both of you casting illusions as you danced to the music with dazzling lights and special effects. It makes quite the show that you both love and enjoy.

If you guys enjoy this I'll make more with the other characters ngl I got lazy on a few but I hope you still enjoyed it. As you can probably tell abomination and bard are my fav coven tracks.

Something I started planning randomly while at work, I guess the creativity just struck me.
Campaign Idea: War!
The emperor of a large volcanic island of great strategic importance (its still vague, I’m still working shit out, these pictures plus 2 statblocks are all I’ve got) has died with no heir and the island is undergoing renovations to accommodate the imminent land war for the throne. The dead emperor was widely liked by the neighbouring elven and dwarven kingdoms however it comes to light post-mortem that this positive relationship was forged through complex and contradictory treaties made between each leader of these kingdoms and the emperor separately that signed over ownership of large swaths of land to both nations at once in the event of there being left no heir. These treaties are of frustratingly ambiguous age and clarity and so it seems like the only solution to the problem of who controls the island is conflict and conquest. However, just as the sparks of clashes first fly, a new contender enters the ring. A massive orc and goblinoid etc army led by a tanarukk appears seemingly out of nowhere right in the middle of the island, especially concerning since the emperors antecedent had supposedly driven all the orcs from the empire a century ago. The tanarukk introduces himself in diplomatic parley with the elves and the dwarves but is refused a meeting with the governing body of the human empire (the ones desperately trying to find some way of solving the elf/dwarf double invasion issue (either through diplomacy or by finding an heir)) on account of their refusal to recognise an orc nation. As a result, it is made clear that the old empire of the dead emperor is about to descend into an even bloodier conflict from which no party looks set to come out healthy.
The campaign would start with the politics as a backdrop, probably with the players starting in a small county specifically taking a job from some kind of recruitment agency to do some normal quest. Once they’ve finished and have hit like third or fourth level the recruitment guy will be like
“just had a job come in actually, starts tomorrow, twelve pound an hour, eight till four, five days a week, you’ll be working for the Count! Liftin and shiftin, bit of packin, yknow, manual labour, you’ll need your steel toes and a hi-vis but you’ve probably all got them”
“uhh what’s the job...about?”
“oh yknow, normal stuff, a dwarven expeditionary force has landed on the south coast and their heavily armed scouts have been marching through villages frightening folks and setting up camps and stuff. Could cause you a bit of trouble but for twelve pound an hour you can’t really say no can you?”
And this would hopefully introduce them to the real effects of the political mess that’s been brewing. I think the orcs would introduce themselves to the dwarven military leaders just after the players first interact with the dwarves (and hopefully not immediately make an enemy of them by killing them) so they might get the chance to see this badass tanarukk outside of a battlefield travelling to the FOBs set up by the dwarves on the coast. I haven’t planned anything further but I think I’d like to see the game go in the direction of the players having to pick a side in the conflict and fight for them.
There’s also another thing about a lost, dead race that lives underground and has done something funky with the volcano that no-one knows about but idk if I should keep that because ripping off The Elder Scrolls any more than I already do might come across as gauche.
Nevertheless, the pictures are my first few runs at designing the tanarukk General Reeves and his two lieutenants one of whom is called Mel and is a barghest. I wanted to design a baddie who was fairly strong on his own but was practically unbeatable when accompanied by his army or his lieutenants so I gave Reeves a bunch of abilities to reflect that. I had to beef up the command abilities from existing monsters so that it was more advantageous for him to use his action to command his allies than use multiattack which was a difficult balance to strike. Also his magic sword has a whole special ability that lets him summon allies and shit and he has a secret third lieutenant and like I really put a lot of work into him despite this campaign not even threatening to start within the next year. Mel the barghest is a transmutation wizard which obviously juices the power level of everyone around her significantly and is a badass in her own right. The second lietenant doesn't have a name yet but is a lore bard who doesn't fight, he just organises and manages the army with his wisdom and charisma and the respect he garners from his senior position.
I intend to go into just as much detail with the other three nations in terms of the key players in their army, their strategy, their B-plans and sleeve-aces but I want to leave gaps for the players to fill. If I balance each army in the same way with even the most powerful members only being as strong as the number of allies they have around them then I could have lieutenants die or be captured or have commanders die or have special squads die or desert or go AWOL for the party to replace which allows the players to make meaningful impact on whichever side they join (or whichever sides they conquer).
Even if this never gets off the ground, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed designing it thus far and fully intend to continue.

Powers, Magic Systems, and Some Other Elements - How Do They Work and What Are The Rules?
ANOTHER LONG POST!
(This ties into that multi-part project I was talking about earlier)
Sympathetic Magic
The basic idea: Life imitates art. Create a piece of art or entertainment and wha-BAM! It just might become real.
The specifics: I was planning to keep these rather vague, as I mainly planned it to be used by the villain in Part II, despite it being a neutral background religion in most of the story. What is known is that it doesn’t work 100% of the time, much like any religious magic, and can happen completely on accident, as was the case with the dev. In-universe, the Church of Sympathetic Magic believes that in order for it to work, a sacrifice back into the elements is required (ranging from a bowl of milk left on the porch to a human body buried without embalming), and the more outlandish the request, the greater the sacrifice needed. Art accidentally granted reality can have stuff added to it, but additional sacrifices are needed for any of the add-ons to become real. It is unclear whether Bard songs count as sympathetic magic or plusibo effect.
Magic Stones/Metals
Spirit Crystal- Found deep underground, these clear-to-azure crystals constantly sap energy out of whatever’s touching it, and manipulate the energy as directed. These directions can be out loud, internal, or digital, but a spellcaster still has to be touching it, even if the energy is coming from something else. A spellcaster can only manipulate energy within sight range, and their instructions only work if they can understand and visualize the physics behind it- or how nature or technology could do something similar. Energy spent without direction is lost to heat. Crystals are commonly used in weaponry to deal both puncturing and burning damage while draining mana, all in one move. They’re also used by hospitals to immediately cauterize wounds and by gyms as a way to burn fat. Scientists can’t find living cells anywhere on them, but philosophers endlessly debate on whether or not they are alive.
Creation Stone- These green, funky-shaped, rounded-edged rocks are found on the same layers as Spirit Crystals. They constantly sap energy to convert into matter. They also need directions, and one essentially needs to know how to sculpt an item out of its base elements. (More specifically, one needs to know the elements being summoned, and a detailed anatomy/geometry/biology of what they’re summoning.) This material must rise out of the stone itself. Most of those who summon living creatures actually cheat- The body already knows how to build itself, and the soul contains a copy of this information. Ergo one only needs a soul or scrap of an existing creature and some spare energy. This makes these stones popular among hospitals as healing devices, and among governments as cloning devices. Persons simply holding the stone in their hand without intentionally summoning anything tend to receive skin growths. Pure energy with no instructions, out of a battery for instance, results in ash.
Hellmetal- Found only around the same layers as Hell, this crimson metal is stronger than steel. It can also be used to manipulate physical matter in a number of ways, including movement, reshaping, heating, and conversion into other matter. Much like the stones, it saps energy to do this, and defaults to heating itself. As for instructions, movement and heating only require the same knowledge needed to do so with spirit crystals. Reshaping requires a detailed anatomy/geometry of whatever you’re reshaping and whatever you’re reshaping it to, but not the elements. Any size differences result in density differences. Matter conversion requires knowing the elements in both whatever object you’re converting and whatever you’re converting it to, but not the anatomy if it remains the same shape. Demon pitchforks are made of this metal.
Brimstone- Found only at the same layers as Hellmetal, it looks like jagged, reddish-brown stone when found unaltered, but like a yellow crystal when cut and polished. Unlike the other materials, it does not sap energy, but allows the caster to store energy inside it and retrieve it later. The caster need only know that they can do that, and will themselves to do so. If it is cracked or broken while energy is inside it, the energy will be released outward from the damaged area as kinetic energy. In Hell, the uncut version is as common as dirt.
Ghosts/Spirits/Souls/etc.
(Sorry if I over-explain this part. These are just really nebulous terms for me and have way too many different meanings.)
Ghosts in this work are made (at least mostly) of electrical energy, and are the life force of all creatures. They’re the “software” of both the mind and body, and contain the genetic information of the original body. They also contain the memories and personality of their original self, and are separated from the body upon death. While the body sleeps, or is dead-but-still-revivable, chunks of the ghost may be found far from the body, but still attached by a string of energy. Computers and machines also have souls, but these do not contain genetic information unless specifically stored in the data by the programmer or the user.
Ghosts can float around, go through some walls, as well as see, touch, and fuse with other ghosts, living or dead. Willingly or not, they can enter new bodies that lack a soul. They can also use magic stones, intentionally or otherwise. Ghosts can split themselves into smaller portions, allowing fusions to be undone and powers to be passed on to living successors. Due to containing instructions on how to build their previous body, they can make new bodies using creation stones.
Ghosts can only go through air, conductive liquids, and conductive solids. Dry wood, most types of stone, plastics, and EM fields are all impassable. Ghosts can be resisted by other ghosts. A body is only usable on its own if it can conduct electricity, has fully functional movement hardware, and can sustain itself. (In other words, a freshly-dead/freshly-created corpse or a robot is fine, but a completely rigormortised one or a skeleton is unusable without a magic stone.) Using a magic stone actually spends the energy that the ghost is made of, and ghosts can completely destroy themselves (essentially dying again) by casting too hard. This also happens when trying to summon a new body without using angelbone or otherwise outside energy.
Ghosts cannot be seen, heard, or felt, except by other ghosts and devices specifically designed to see them. They cannot move objects without the use of a magic stone, and cannot feel objects that they can pass through. Objects they can’t pass through can be used as weapons against them. Their energy can be manipulated, and even spent, by magic stones even when they are not the caster. If they are completely spent, they lose consciousness forever. This also happens if they are completely ionized, meaning plasma and fire can also hurt them.
Astral Projection
Through thorough practice, one can cause their ghost to awaken during sleep without waking the physical body. They can then allow a chunk of their ghost to, while still attached, float away and do ghosty things. Ghosts of two sleeping persons can fuse, but this fusion is ripped back in two as soon as both bodies are awake.
Fusion
When two ghosts fuse, the fusion has the combined stats, size, lifespan, and abilities of both creatures. (Essentially, a human and an animal result in a tall anthropomorphic animal, while a human and a human result in a “double-human” or a giant.) They will also have the personality traits of both, and conflicting traits may result in inner conflict. In a physical body, certain abilities may still result in certain weaknesses. For instance, a harpy’s flight ability results in a weakness to physical damage, while a dryad’s tough wooden body results in a weakness to fire.
Prayer
The rules depend on exactly who a person is praying to and what the desired effect is.
On the surface, one praying aloud to God or to the angels may result in them hearing said prayers, as Earth is always monitored by Haven. Whether or not they respond depends on the severity of the situation, whether or not the desired result aligns with their goals, and whether or not it is within their power as fully-biological creatures.
Praying aloud to the spirits of the dead can also result in those prayers being heard, as nearby ghosts can still see and hear the living. Their response also depends on circumstance, personal preference, and what power they have as a ghost.
Praying silently or without response can still grant oneself a boost in strength, endurance, or confidence, due to the power of belief.
The Undead
Zombies- The result of a magic user attempting to repair and revive someone after they are already dead and spoiling. A zombie has no memories if their brain was regrown. Even when they do, a zombie has a completely different soul, and is incredibly sick, often to the point of acting like a feral or rabid animal. Zombies have compulsory cannibalistic tendencies due to being deficient in nearly all of their nutrients. They foam at the mouth, and can spread their sickness to living beings. A living person infected with the disease will show all of the symptoms except for the rigormortis and cannibalism. A similar disease can come from radiation, causing RadZombies.
Revenants- The result of a waking ghost using a Spirit Crystal or a chunk of Hellmetal to inhabit their old body after death. Has the sentience and physicality of a person, the appearance, smell, and eventually movement problems of a zombie, and the energy limit of a ghost. Immune to bodily pain but still weak to attacks that ghosts are weak to. The body can also be damaged to the point of being unusable.
Puppets- The result of a ghost using Spirit Crystals or Hellmetal to move around a dummy or a pile of gunk. Often mistaken for a golem. Destroying the body does little to inconvenience the ghost.
Golems
The result of a summoner knowing the biology of a creature but not the elements. Has skin, bones, muscles, etc. but they’re made of weird materials like mud, clay, slime and/or silicone. Can either stay alive for many years or for only a few minutes, depending on the abilities and priorities of the caster. Golems also range from fully-sentient synthetic humanoids to barely-alive killing machines, based on these same things. Has a soul, but may or may not have a genetic code.
Biological Powers
These are moreso writing rules than in-universe rules.
A biological power can be either
A) Based on a real-world animal, even if not operating the same way (for example, electricity or regeneration)
B) Based on already-established fantasy elements (such as having a type of magic stone be part of their body) or
C) Justifiable through science-babble. (For instance, “this creature shoots fire by expelling flammable gas and then igniting it with an electric shock”)
Technology
Must either be
A) Based on something that already exists in science or sci-fi
B) Combining science with an established fantasy element, or
C) Justifiable through science-babble.
Time Travel
Much like in Homestuck, stable loops, retcons, and offshoots are all possible. Retcons can only be achieved through sympathetic magic. Stable loops are achieved by extensively studying (or ignoring) what one already did, and then going back and doing it. Offshoots are created by intentionally changing something or by trying and failing to complete a stable loop. There is no alpha timeline nor are there doomed timelines in the traditional sense.
Retconned timelines will be remembered by some and forgotten by others, seemingly at random. Characters created through retcons will not remember times when they did not exist. Offshoot timelines are only remembered by the time traveler.

Brand New Bard
Hi guys!
Nana is still firing away~ She got to level 44, and had not touched her bard soul crystal. She's been more focused on her MSQ and side quests, and her archer quests kinda took a back seat. I’d remind her a few times, but didn’t feel it was too urgent. Recently, I had mentioned that she was close to being able to get the lvl 45 gear from the bard quests once she got caught up  with them. After asking me where to go for those, I brought her to Quarrymill and lead her over to the guy. Apparently, she actually had been all caught up on her archer quests, but hadn’t started the bard ones yet. When she told me it was telling her that “it was red” and she wasn’t able to do it, we talked about the soul crystal and how that worked with switching from a class to a job. After she found hers, she put it on, and told me she had “less weapons”. I was confused at first, but found out she was talking about the skills on her bar. I didn’t think of it at the time, but i’m wondering as I type this if she thinks each skill is a different type of arrow, since a lot of  the icons tend to be a bunch of pictures of arrows on them, and that’s why she’s referring to them as weapons rather than skills. I’ll have to ask her about that later.
I explained how she still had all her skills, but changing from a class to a job was kinda funky, and she needed to arrange her bard ones herself. I had written up a guide on how to do that previously for her and relinked that. Since I was planning on visiting her relatively soon, I suggested that if she had any trouble with it, I can help her with that when I come by, and she could play on archer when we ran her dungeons. I had thought that’s what we were going to do soon since she told me which ones she unlocked. However, she seemed determined to figure this bard stuff out first and said she wanted to hold off on them for the day. After that, she ran around, shooting stuff, trying out the default bard skill arrangement, seeing how it was. She entered in a fate, which synced her down, and unfortunately, a nearby squirrel thing, which was considerably higher leveled, decided to join in her death parade she built (she still jumps right into mobs when it’s not in a dungeon), which promptly destroyed her. As she laid on the ground, she says to me, “my archer would have whipped those guys”. Ahhh! I tried to explain what happened to prevent her from thinking her bard was that under powered. It was late in the day, however, and she decided to call it a night. Before she logs, she tells me she’s going to get stronger tomorrow.
The next day, she decides she’s ready to do her two new dungeons, Stone Vigil and Dzemael Darkhold. Sometime before we go though, she asks me how to switch back to archer and if she can go back and forth. It doesn’t seem like she’s fixed her bar yet, which is fine, for now. As I’m waiting for the boyfriend guy to log in to tank for us, she reminds me that Stone Vigil is part of her MSQ and that it’s in Coerthas. I smile every time she tells me little things like this. It was then, however, that I suddenly realized she had been leading me to the spot on the map right outside the actual dungeon before telling me she’s good to go, so I let her know we didn’t have to do that as long as it was unlocked.
After the boyfriend joins up with us, I queue us up for Stone Vigil first since it’s part of her MSQ. Our 4th ends up being a quiet, yet friendly, level 40 something dragoon. (thank you, random drg) The boyfriend decides to make huge pulls for the run since I’m healing. Oh! I ended up parsing this run to see how Nana’s doing. For some reason, I never thought to try up until this point. But lo and behold, she was 1st or 2nd throughout nearly all of the dungeon! Omg I am so proud. Lol!
Things went pretty smoothly though. We got extra exp/mobs for the leveling dps and only had 1 death. While Nana is quick to dodge the red stuff, she didn’t realize the blue icy patches on the ground for the last boss was a threat to her. In the end though, she got a level. Yay, 45! \o/
For Dzemael Darkhold, someone from FC tagged along as our other dps. Since the previous run went so smoothly, we decided to pull large here too. But unfortunately, it got fudged and we dropped.. Lol. Round two went great though. \o/ For the 1st boss, I explained how the purple light from the crystal worked for Nana, but I guess she didn’t see it and stood outside of it. D8 She eventually stood in it though after a couple times of relocating the boss. The rest of the dungeon was big pulls as well. For the 2nd boss, which I think might be the most dodging you have to do in a fight up until this point, she did pretty well and dodged everything. @_@ Then on the last boss, i’m not sure if she was attacking the crystals when the boss would tether to them, but she avoided all the other bad stuff, despite standing a bit too close to the boss and getting whacked by his spin move. Another level was gained from the run and she got to 46! Huzzah!
After we exit, she says that run was scary. She does her usual of telling me she’s done playing, but ends up talking to me or runs off to do side quests before logging off. This time, it was asking me where I got my eagle (Rose Lanner) and if I could fly. I’m slowly keeping track of the mounts she gets interested in so i can help her with them later. I can’t wait til she gets close to wrapping up ARR and starting up Heavensward. I really want to know how she feels about the direction of the story. I also really want to see how she does when she gets to fly for the first time.

D&D Retrospective!
Had our first session today! First time I’ve ever DMed before, apparently I didn’t do half bad.
The party arrives via boat in the large town of Amddiffyniaeth. Immediately, they’re accosted by a racist docker who seems to have a problem with our half-elven paladin, Adrie (@earthhly).
Then, he is quickly whacked across the head by another worker, who apologizes for the incident.
“I’ll just put him on a ship, he’ll get sailed away. Hopefully the ship’ll sink.”
The party then go to The Snow’s Hearth, a tavern nearby and get rooms. They haggle down the incredibly overpriced (totally not me not knowing what rooms are supposed to cost) rooms and even get breakfast thrown in. Upon looking around in the room, our half-orc Bard Shreklina (yes, I know) (@ceruleansunflowers) finds a locked safe beneath her bed. Only after ripping the door off its hinges (gotta love nat 20s) does she notice that the key was hanging beside the door.
After a brief argument with the lawful paladin, Shreklina puts the money and jewelry inside back. Soon after, the sorceress Frixibis deftly steals it all again. The paladin, noticing the missing treasure made them jump up and down. Failing a dex check, Frixibis certainly rattled.
They were eventually approached by a man called Bychan, who told them that Lord Garedig Arglwydd has work for adventurers. They go to the castle of Wardeniaid and are offered 5000 gold should they have to deal with anything in the caves after being given report of strange noises and lights near the northern town of Ogofeydd.
After a bit of shopping, the party arrange a ride with a carriage driver headed to Ogofeydd and leave the next morning. On the way, they are accosted by bandits whom they immediately eviscerate, leaving one who leads them to their hostage, the warlock Pigeon (who was a player, but due to Discord not working very well on the phone, I filled in for for the session). With the warlock in tow, the party proceed north to Ogofeydd, and stay the night at The Howling Hill, after asking townsfolk about the strange happenings.
The party ask about before entering the caves, meeting a historian who says he’s worried that they may have found Ddinas Orffwylledd, a city ruined centuries before.
After entering the caves, they get past a few greeblies which are almost humanoid but appear to be composed of black vine-like material.
They find a room with a chest in it. On the chest is a note which read “the treasure was you all along.” Upon opening it, the paladin sees the back of their own tiny head; the room is inside the chest, and they look up and see the roof open. After some curiosity, Adrie gets in the box and is too big to get anywhere. She even experiments with being tiny by getting out of the box, but gets back in and returns to her normal size.
After closing the box, 600 gold appears in the room. Excitedly, Adrie opens and closes it repeatedly. Nothing happens and she breaks the box.
The party turn left at a crossroads and find themselves not getting any further from where they were, turning right they find themselves back in the left passageway without the funky looping. They soon find the complex becoming more chiseled and unnatural before running across some more of the vine greeblies, some smaller and some larger. After defeating them, the party are now taking a long rest in the room.
They actually got quite a bit further than I’d have liked, but nevertheless, it went well! The five hours we played for didn’t really feel like 5 hours. My dad kept interrupting and trying to get us to watch something on the television, so might need to deal with that. A day of snacks and dice!
Need to be a bit more prepared, need to acquire a few more resources and ambient noise tracks. Another computer screen would be great, but ah well.

So How About Them New Episodes, Ammirite Ladies??
here’s what i thought of the new episodes via live reactions as i watching them!
overall, it was kinda underwhelming but there were parts that i really did like! and if you liked these episodes, that’s awesome!
MAYOR DEWEY WINS
was this title a reference to the movie/book John Dies at the End, cause if so then i’m shocked i caught that
apparently it is, would you look at that. btw i kinda liked the movie.
damn, Sadie took this hard. and Steven never told Lars’ parents. so i guess Sadie has to do that herself.
why tf does Steven care if Dewey wins?!
OH, IT’S BECAUSE HE DON’T WANT SHIT TO CHANGE AND HE THINKS HAVING A NEW MAYOR WOULD BE BAD WTF DEWEY DOES NOTHING
ok wow, there’s only 24 people in Beach City and he never noticed that Lars was gone!?
“is that why the donut shop was closed?”
“we’ll hire a new donut boy!” DEWEY. DUDE. ARE YOU FOR REAL?!
“high school mayor” lmao
how did he run unopposed for 10 years!?
LARS’ MOM KEEPS A SHITTON OF TOMATOES IN HER PURSE SHE READY TO THROW DOWN ALL THE TIME
i don’t like that Steven is so adamant on Dewey winning.
jesus, Steven, let Nanefua win. she’s obviously the better person for the job
“i’m done pointing my finger at you, and now i direct all my fingers on both my hands to the citizens” top 10 anime deaths
NANEFUA WINS, OH MY GOD YES
STEVEN, DUDE, REALLY?! LEAVE CONNIE ALONE!
“i don’t know what you’re talking about, but i need to get a new job” 2018 mood tbh
episode rating: 2 tomatoes out of 5. i can’t stand Steven in this episode at all. but hey, NANEFUA WON!!!!!!
RAISING THE BARN
....was Lapis’ main concern that Steven dropped his phone on Homeworld? not the fact that he was... idk... ON HOMEWORLD?!
ok Lapis is ready to bail immediately and tbh i dont blame her
did she just uproot the entire bard wtf?!
BARN THE DIAMONDS, BARN THE DIAMONDS, BARN THE DIAMONDS!
episode rating: 1.5 barns out of 5. BARN THE DIAMONDS, BARN THE DIAMONDS, BARN THE DIAMONDS!

AND GARNET JUST SHUTS UP AND WAS LIKE “good, you understand”
PEARL WAS GONNA STRAIGHT UP ADMIT TO SOME HUGE THING AFTER HER “THERE ARE THINGS THAT ARE IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO EXPLAIN” LINE AND HE CUTS HER OFF WITH “CONNIE HATES ME”
WHY COULDN’T STEVEN AT LEAST TELL THESE FOUR THAT HE WAS SO WORRIED ABOUT CONNIE HATING HIM?!

Peridot listens to country music, this is disgusting
HOLY SHIT AMETHYST IS TOSSIN’ PERIDOT AROUND LIKE SHE WEIGHS NOTHING AND I’M CRACKING UP
“can i bring my music?” “NO.” damn Amethyst you already threw Peri around like she ain’t nothin’, let her bring her music if it’ll help her
aaaay, they’re in the train again!
dang, Peri really loved the barn.
i kinda like that Amethyst is going around trying to figure out which member of the Famethyst came out of which part of the Kindergarten. kinda cute.
so everything is seriously determined by the nutrition, right down to the style of a Gem’s hair? ...huh. iron deposits determine hair styles.
damn, Peri went with a sucker punch to the gut with her little speech about how Kindergartens kill off life and are just “lifeless husks” once all the Gems are done being formed. and Amethyst feels awful about it, dang.
ok. there’s a flower growin’ in the Kindergarten, and that should technically be impossible due to all of the nutrients in this one area being used up. this could be interesting.
ok, so now the trio is gonna farm & see what happens. ok, ok, i can roll with this i guess.
FARMING MONTAGE
Tumblr media
look at them flowers
they proud
don’t make Peri live here
Tumblr media
why the flamingo thingy taller than both of them
gods i didn’t need to see Steven happily showering
they’re talking about how the flowers are probs gonna look beautiful i bet they all died, they’re too positive about this. $5 them flowers are dead.
them flowers are dead,
...now they’re arguing, cause Peri blew up on them. alright. this ain’t good.
aaaaaaaaaaaand Peri crushed the original flower that grew here. both Steven & Amethyst made pained whimpers. ok. this ain’t good.
oh it’s a Gem creature- haven’t seen one of those in a while!
IT ATE PERIDOT HOLY FUCK
SMOKEY QUARTZ IS BACK
ngl i like Smokey’s theme music
btw there’s no dialogue from Smokey, just a quick 2 second thing
Peri doesn’t reform with a star on her
ok, that was kinda cute. and having a technician that also likes gardening is cute too
episode rating: 3.5 dead sunflowers outta 5. it was an okay episode & i did like it.
SADIE KILLER
heh, i get it. cause lady killer.
oh god, that looks bad
WHY IS THAT MOP SO BIG
instead of reading off a long-ass list to the overly worked employee, just hand Sadie the list so she won’t fuck up?
“and a coffee. hold the coffee.” same tbh
oh. he’s in a band with the Cool Kids. WE GET TO SEE THE COOL KIDS!
“...i hope he [Lars] is safe and all, but working all these shifts by myself has been a huge drag” GIRL, LARS DIED IN SPACE AND IS STILL THERE
Steven stealing all the napkins is something i’d do tbh
man, i love the Cool Kids
is my girl Jenny rockin’ the bass? aaaaaaaaaaay!
Sour Cream, what the HECK IS RAP-A-BILLY?
“Doo-doo. Butt. The government corrupts” Buck is the voice of this generation
Tumblr media
welcome to EB Games
they... they admitted to following her home from work....
“doo-doo. i think i broke your bed” Buck wtf
also, i guess them watching all of Sadie’s horror movies gave them inspiration to do that weird donut-brain-eating song. weird.
“we are the working dead, and we lurch for minimum wage” same Sadie
......ok, she’s freaking everyone out. and they look uncomfortable. Sadie, seriously stop. they’re concerned.
...she. put lipstick on her eyes.
see, if she wasn’t freakin’ everyone out with this, i’d say this song is a bop.
ok they’re fine now & thought it was lit ok cool cool cool. i ain’t a big fan of the lyrics tbh, but i do like the song.
 “aww, doo-doo”
ok so Steven’s askin’ for advice on how to write horror-themed songs from Sadie. how about LARS DIED ON HOMEWORLD
SADIE’S ADVICE IS:
LOSE YOUR LIFE TO A BORING JOB
LOSE THE ONE PERSON YOU WERE CLOSE TO
LOSE YOUR MIND WORKIN A TON OF SHIFTS
GIRL FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
Steven puttin’ Sadie on blast, good lord he just sang an accidental roast tryin’ to sing shit like she does
HE STOLE ALL THE NAPKINS AGAIN
“you can’t help being cute no more than i can help being cool” Buck, you’re a blessing
“yoooooo, what if this is all a dream?” Buck, wtf?
oh. Sadie’s goin’ with them. okay.
OH. SHE QUIT HER JOB. UM. OKAY?
episode rating: 3 funky riffs out of 5. Buck Dewey is great.
KEVIN PARTY
I DO NOT WANT TO WATCH THIS EPISODE, BUT IMMA DO IT ANYWAY
DIDN’T EVEN START THE EPISODE AND I STILL FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE
let’s just get this over with...
why’d Steven wait this long to track down Lion?!
Tumblr media
siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh, here he is......
gods, i still hate him
stop being gross to kids, leave Steven and Connie alone ya freak
at least he knows they use they/them pronouns.
how did he find out where Connie is? doesn’t she live far away from Beach City? did he track down these two kids just to “invite” Stevonnie?!
“no one turns down an invitation to a Kevin party” i sure as fuck would
lmao Kevin has an old phone
“your name’s Steven? weird, i thought your name was Clarence” OI, DON’T INSULT CLARENCE LIKE THAT
rude, Steven brought snacks and ya just toss ‘em into the void?
ok. he’s creepily obsessed with Stevonnie cause apparently they make parties and shit like that hella fun. um. stop? being obsessed with kids??
WTF WHY IS LION AT THE PARTY
Connie actually showed up. and had Lion the entire time. that’s. super fucked up. Lion is the ONLY way to get to Lars directly!
and also, there’s TWO KIDS AT A PARTY WITH OLDER PEOPLE?! NO ONE BUT DERRICK QUESTIONS THIS?
Kevin’s gonna try to get them to talk to each other... so they can form Stevonnie... so his party won’t suck...
also, he keeps calling them 7-year-olds........ siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh, ok Kevin.
KEVIN YOU IDIOT LET THEM TALK TO EACH OTHER SO HE CAN SAY SORRY DON’T GIVE HIM YOUR “COOL GUY” BULLSHIT
“i need those old people to whisper my name when they die” tbh goals
“who’s Sabina?” Kevin got all red in the face and almost lost his cool
so Kevin’s gonna try to make Steven look like he’s moved on from Connie or some shit. this won’t end well.
NO, NOT DERRICK’S JACKET
now we get a montage of 2 kids being uncomfortable surrounded by older people at a party they should’t be at, ok.
at least Connie looks cute. and she got a haircut! so cute!
Tumblr media
NOT CUTE NOT CUTE NOT CUTE
Tumblr media
GOD, I HATE KEVIN
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Steven, what are you doing?
Tumblr media
STEVEN, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
ok, quick recap cause i didn’t mention this: Kevin thought Steven & Connie were dating, so, Connie only went to the party to see if Steven’s okay and if they could talk. Steven decided to follow Kevin’s advice for some reason, and Connie thinks Steve’s new BFF is Kevin, and Kevin has no concept of what friends are.
so. Connie didn’t text Steven cause she preferred talking face to face about this, and that texting him wasn’t good enough to work out these issues. very fair point. still don’t get why you legit stole Lion from him, but the not texting back thing makes complete sense.
ok, she rode Lion to his house while Steven, Greg & the Gems were away (the episode Gemcation). and that’s when she bumped into Kevin and got the invite. ok. now Kevin is slightly less creepy, but still disgusting nonetheless.
oh, yay! they’re talking it out! and Steven isn’t disregarding Connie’s anger!
yay! they’re friends again!
don’t form Stevonnie, don’t form Stevonnie, don’t form Stevonnie, don’t form Stevonnie, don’t form Stevonnie, don’t form Stevonnie, don’t form Stevonnie, don’t form Stevonnie, don’t form Stevonnie, don’t form Stevonnie, don’t form Stevonnie, don’t form Stevonnie, don’t form Stevonnie.
LMAO GET FUCKED, KEVIN, THEY AIN’T FORMIN’ STEVONNIE
episode rating: 1 Lion out of 5. least fave episode, tbh. but hey, we got Connie back!

Hotel Indigo, Stratford upon Avon review
While house-hunting in 1597, William Shakespeare would have known the handsome pub opposite his New Place. The Falcon was not a five-minute walk from Shakespeare’s Birthplace and across the road from Shakespeare’s Schoolroom. The world-class theatres built in his honour are a five-minute walk – if you dawdle.
A hotel with a secret
From the street, the 500 year-old inn looks much the same as ever – half-timbered facade, cosy, wood-panelled bar with a snug full of books and olde-worlde charm. Enter from the new reception round the corner, however, and you’ll find Hotel Indigo. It’s Shakespeare – but this is the Bard reimagined – in his finest, 21st-century chic.
READ MORE: Explore Shakespeare’s Britain
A Tudor Room
Ancient and modern harmony
Opened in April 2019, this fully-restored, listed building has been joined with a brand new, multi-million pound extension. Luxurious and contemporary, the sensitive design works with the building’s roots, creating something traditional and fresh. Every last detail is a sly nod to the town and its most famous inhabitant. The inn itself is remembered in the Falcon Tea Rooms, which, after dark, become a sophisticated cocktail bar.
Hotel Indigo Stratford bar
To sleep, perchance to dream…
In the bedrooms, heritage materials such as wool and raw wood are blended with luxury fabrics and modern colours. Tudor-influenced rooms blend half-timber and great views of New Place with modern design while those in the modern extension include neat references to Shakespeare’s work. Even simple things like water glasses have been thought through: here they are funky glass goblets.
Hotel Indigo Stratford reception
Romantic walled garden
Recalling traditional coaching-inn yards, the glass-lined ‘corridor’ between the old and new parts of the building is wide enough for squashy chairs and low tables. It looks out onto a stunning walled herb garden. You can enjoy a glass out here – a basket of blankets is a thoughtful extra as the nights draw in.
First-class fine dining
Don’t be fooled by the open brick oven in Hotel Indigo’s independent restaurant, The Woodsman. Dining is very definitely of the fine rather than the pizza variety. Recalling old bread ovens the Falcon would have had in Shakespeare’s day, the roaring flames inspire new interpretations of British classics such as wild boar, beef, lamb and venison. It’s staggeringly good food, served by knowledgeable and friendly staff, something reflected in the whole experience. Everyone at Hotel Indigo clearly wants you to have a great stay.

Here’s All 69 (!) Game Announcements From The Kinda Funny Games Showcase
With no main PSX event this year, the folks at Kinda Funny decided to host their own game announcements show to complement The Game Awards.
Kinda Funny Games Showcase has brought over 69 game announcements for its 1-hour pre-recorded show. Most of them are cool indie games you might never heard of before. Some are coming out soon, some has been already been released just as the broadcast ended.
So here’s all 69 game announcements compiled into one place, for those who missed the show and would want to skim through it all.
youtube
1: Super Meat Boy Forever
The first sequel to the 2D platformer Super Meat Boy. Play as Meat Boy or Bandage Girl in 7200 handcrafted levels that are hard, but fair. A sharper art, a story with cutscenes and new mechanics like combat are added.
It will be out on April 2019 for the PS4, PC via Epic Games Store, Xbox One and Switch.
youtube
2: YIIK: A Postmodern RPG
A surreal RPG taking inspiration from JRPGs like Earthbound. The characters are all normal-looking dudes and gals presented in a low-poly artstyle, but thrown in very odd situations. It all started as main character Alex tries to find a girl that mysteriously disappeared in an elevator and it goes wilder from there. Combat is turn-based with some mini-games for attacks.
It will be out on January 17th, 2019 for the PS4, PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch.
youtube
3: At Sundown
A multiplayer top-down shooter where hiding in the shadows will make you invisible, making for some stealth-heavy gameplay. Up to four players, online and offline, can play together.
It is out now on PC via Discord Store but will be available on the PS4, PC via Steam, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch January 22nd.
Invincible vs. invisible? We've played @Aftercharge, we dig Aftercharge, and we think you will, too. #KFGShowcase pic.twitter.com/hsmhlvtnjK
— Kinda Funny (@KindaFunnyVids) December 8, 2018
4: Aftercharge
A 3v3 competitve shooter where a squad of invisible robots fight against a squad of invincible robots. The invisible robots have to destroy energy extractors, the invincible, with a full arsenal of weapons, have to stop them.
It will launch on PC via Steam and Xbox One January 10th. You can sign-up for the beta here.
youtube
5: ToeJam & Earl: Back In The Groove!
The sequel to the funky Sega Genesis game has a release date. Unlike the last entry on the original Xbox where it went full 3D, Back In The Groove! harkens back to the original game’s isometric look, now featuring HD artwork. It also supports split-screen co-op.
The game had some delays, but will now launch on March 1st for the PS4, PC via Steam, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
youtube
6: Quarantine Circular, Out Now On Switch
The latest game from Mike Bithell’s Bithell Games (Thomas Was Alone, Volume, Subsurface Circular). It is another highly-focused adventure game that can be finished in one sitting like Subsurface Circular, where conversations are the star of the show. And you better talk your way out in the right way or mankind will be doomed this time.
The game has been out on PC via Steam, but it is now out on Nintendo Switch.
youtube
7: Adams Ascending
A new supernatural adventure game by one man named Nick DePalo. Yes, that live-action trailer is him in a space suit of sorts.
The game is now seeking funding on Kickstarter.
youtube
8: Operencia: The Stolen Sun
From the makers of the many Pinball FX games comes a new first-person RPG set in a fantasy world. Described as an homage to old-school dungeon crawler, this really feels like The Bard’s Tale and the games of the era.
Featuring turn-based combat where you only see the enemies and a party of companions, explore this fantasy world which weaves in Central European folklore and legends. The developers are from Hungary, so this is cool to see.
It will be out on PC via Steam soon and other platforms, to be announced. You can sign up for a closed beta here.
youtube
9: Moving Out
Packing up items to move out can be boring. “Let’s make a game out of it and spice things up with silliness,” is what SMG Studios and Devm Games thought when making this game.
Your job as a Furniture Arrangement & Relocation Technician (F.A.R.T.) to move out items into designated packing trucks, by any means necessary. Chuck them out of window, pass it to your friend on the other side of the road, navigate through floods, outrun boulders, carry a giraffe, use conveyor belts, avoid saw traps on the floor. You know, the usual stuff when moving out.
It will be out on PC and consoles sometime next year.
youtube
10: Super Stickman Golf Blitz
Noodlecake Games announced something called Super Stickman Golf Blitz (not to be confused with Blitz Golf, which is real thing in golf). Nothing to go much right now other than this peculiar live-action trailer and this website.
youtube
11: Motorball
But that’s not all. Noodlecake also teased Motorball, a 2D Rocket League-like game where you play football/soccer with cars, but this time from the top-down perspective and possibly for mobile. It too has a website.
youtube
12: Conan Unconquered
Funcom revealed a new RTS game by Petroglyph Studios, the RTS veterans that did Grey Goo, Star Wars: Empire At War and also Command And Conquer. This is also the studio that are working on the new Command And Conquer remasters.
It will be out on PC via Steam, no release date was given.
youtube
13: Lapis x Labyrinth, Coming To The West
Stack your chibi party members high and watch the colourful gems go flying. This 2D dungeon crawling RPG will be out on PS4 and Switch in English sometime in 2019.
14: Danganronpa Trilogy Physical Release
NIS America is also bringing the Danganropa Trilogy into one neat physical release. Like all the physical releases announcements later, this may only be available in the west and not Asia.
youtube
15: The Messenger, Picnic Panic DLC
Kicking off the DLC announcement block is the platformer with an interesting gimmick, The Messenger. The Picnic Panic DLC is available for free and will be available in 2019.
youtube
16: Human: Fall Flat, Dark DLC
Ragdoll platformer where struggling with the controls is half the fun Human: Fall Flat is also getting free DLC. The new level, Dark, plays on classic horror tropes, but nothing is that scary when you have to bumble about not to fall off a cliff and avoiding your friends that may throw you off one.
It will be out on PC on December 10th, with the console versions (PS4, Xbox One, Switch) getting it sometime in 2019.
youtube
17: Shirtless Arachnid Person DLC For Guacamelee! 2
Now isn’t this a little self-indulgent. You can play as the Shirtless Arachnid Person (who is totally not Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller topless with a Spider-Man mask on) by entering a cheat code at the costume menu. It is:
down, down, up, up, right, left, right, left, up, left.
The Shirtless Arachnid Person also turns into Portillo the chicken.
The code should work now on PS4 and PC (Steam). The Metroidvania platformer will be out on Xbox One and Switch.
youtube
18: When Ski Lifts Go Wrong
Imagine the many bridge-building games like Poly Bridge or Bridge Constructor: Portal. But now use that template to make ski lifts, gondolas, ramps and jumps. Most likely, it will go wrong.
The game is in Steam Early Access and this new trailer reveals new content coming out as it will be leaving Early Access in early 2019.
youtube
19: Rival Megagun Physical Release
Rival Megagun, a shoot-em-up with two-player PVP is out now. A physical release was announced coming in 2019.
.@Celeste_game and @Windjammers are getting physical releases in 2019 thank to @LimitedRunGames! Get excited, @XavierWoodsPhD! #KFGShowcase pic.twitter.com/epLQA4WvYx
— Kinda Funny (@KindaFunnyVids) December 8, 2018
20 and 21: Windjammers Physical Release, Celeste Physical Release By Limited Run
Cult hit competitive frisbee throwing game Windjammers and Game Of The Year contender, 2D platformer with a lot of heart are getting physical releases via Limited Run.
youtube
22: Mineko’s Night Market
This begins the rapid showcase of upcoming games published by Humble Bundle.
Mineko’s Night Market is a game about “crafting crafts, eating eats, and catting cats”. Described as a celebration of Japanese culture, you spend your day exploring the village and its outskirts for items, or craft new ones, for it to be sold later in the night market. Various mini-games, fun activities and a mystery to discover in this game. Also, cats.
It is coming to PC via Steam and also the Nintendo Switch.
youtube
23: The Occupation
Immersive sim fans, rejoice! In The Occupation, you play as a journalist set to investigate an event where many lives were lost. It is 24th October 1987. Time is of the essence, as everything and everyone moves in real-time and entirely systems-driven.
The game has been long in development, the trailer we feature here is from last year. It will be out on PS4, PC via Steam and Xbox One on February 5th 2019.
youtube
24: Disco Elysium
Think about an old-school isometric RPG. Now remove combat and use that system to make a detective game. That’s what Disco Elysium is set to do and boy does it look interesting.
It will be out in the first half of 2019 for PC via Steam.
youtube
25: Slay The Spire
The single-player deck building game combines trading cards with rougelikes. It is out now on PC via Steam and it is coming to Switch next year.
youtube
26: Fae Tactics
A very beautiful looking strategy tactics RPG. Though it has been long in development, it is set for release sometime in 2019 on PC via Steam.
youtube
27: Ikenfell
The last of the games showcase by publishers Humble Bundle.
This is a 8-bit style RPG where positioning matters during the turn-based combat. It involves the adventures of the students in the school of Ikenfell, where magic is taught.
youtube
28: Long Gone Days Release Date
A military RPG with “a focus on language and cultural barriers”. The trailer reveals a gritty world where war may be spreading further, peppered with moments of levity where you hang out with the party members. Keeping morale high and ensuring you communicate well is key in this game.
It is out now on Steam Early Access. It will leave Early Access in April 2019.
Looking for a feel good FPS? Look at @AWAY_TheGame and it's new release date! #KFGShowcase pic.twitter.com/cws2IyHBsG
— Kinda Funny (@KindaFunnyVids) December 8, 2018
29: Away: Journey To The Unexpected Release Date
It’s not the first time developers from France and Japan team up (look at Furi), but it’s still cool to see nonetheless. Away: Journey To The Unexpected is a first-person game where you face against 2D enemy sprites. Some of them can be recruited, should you befriend them. Having new party members will allow you to control them and use their abilities.
It will be out on PC sometime in February 2019, and also coming to the PS4 (February 5th), Switch (February 7th) and Xbox One (February 8th).
youtube
30: Vane Release Date
You play as a bird that can transform into a child as you uncover this interesting foreign world. Vane is described as “an enigmatic and unnerving game that aims to leave an impact.”
It will be out on PS4 January 15th, 2019 in North America and Europe.
Bury me, my Love, the BAFTA-nominated narrative game about the Syrian conflict, is coming to Nintendo Switch as a console exclusive & PC Jan 10. @ThePixelHunt brings an emotional, bittersweet love story told from the perspective of ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances. pic.twitter.com/3hulUibWbH
— Playdius (@PlaydiusGames) December 8, 2018
31: Bury Me, My Love Release Date For PC And Switch
Another simple narrative game, but a powerful one. It’s a story of a Syrian couple, Nour and Majid, as Nour tries to find her way off to Europe. A love story with the background of the current, bleak situation in Syria.
Originally a mobile game, it will now make its way for release on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch, out on January 10th, 2019.
youtube

youtube

Anthem had a new trailer debuted at The Game Awards recently. Now there is a breakdown of the trailer by Lead Producer Mike Gamble.
Although the showcase only show a small bite of the piece, you can view it in full in the embedded video above.
youtube
37: Color
This is the first of three games in the puzzle block of the showcase.
Developed by Dual Studios, this is puzzler that is all about colour theory. Understanding how you can derive colours by adding or subtracting other colours is key to solve this minimalist puzzle.
It will be out for PC via Steam in 2019.
Just in time for @CalgaryExpo, the #ReadingRush teaser trailer is here!
Stop by booth 223 in the BMO Centre to play it all weekend long! You can win prizes too #gamedev #indiedev #trailer #calgaryexpo #calgaryexpo2018 #madewithunity pic.twitter.com/5AJEXUnX5G
— The Frozen Machine (@FrozenMachine) April 26, 2018

Developed by The Frozen Machine, it will be out on Android and iOS devices this month.
youtube
39: Collapsus
This interesting puzzler by Wraith Games has you to click and destroy one block, with the goal of forming a line of at least four same-coloured tiles to be adjacent of each other. You have limited clicks, and doing combos will replenish it back. Also, you can rotate the board all around too.
It is coming out on PS4, PC via Steam, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS Vita and mobile in 2019. You can try an early build of the game over on itch.io here.
did some gameplay simplification experiments for #triwave (3 colors, only rings and no stacks) and it's really starting to sing.
I will also start to sing if you go wishlist it on steam.#gamedev #screenshotsaturday #madewithunity pic.twitter.com/rTBnDM4SRl
— john plewe (@johnplewe) December 2, 2018
40: Triwave
The last game on the puzzle block of the show.
Triwave is a puzzler with some sick beats. A colour appears in the center, you can push it down, left or right. Forming a ring of the same colours or a stack of three same colours on each side to clear them.
It looks as trippy as Tetris Effect. You can sign-up to beta test the game here.
youtube
  41: Dawnthorn
This begins the action-adventure slot of the showcase.
Dawnthorn is a throwback adventure game to the days of Startropics 1 and 2, the original Legend of Zelda, and Link’s Awakening. This is a prequel to another game, Hazelnut Bastille, which is on Kickstarter right now.

youtube
46: Virgo VS The Zodiac
Does those horoscope readings ever tell you that Virgos are evil? At least in this game, it is. You play as Virgo as she wrecks havoc on the whole Zodiac Realm so she could bring back the Golden Age. Which may be a bad thing, considering her actions to get there.
The game is inspired by Super Mario RPG so it has a more involved combat, with mini-games. As evil as she is, you can befriend folks, with choices you make affecting the ending.
The game is being made by Moonana and was funded through Fig It will be out soon on PC via Steam.
youtube

Dungeon crawling can get lonely, so why not play a dungeon crawler where you get to date your loot, the weapons?

Boyfriend Dungeon will be out next year in 2019 for PC via Steam.
youtube
48: Knifeboy
This is the part of the showcase where it gets weird.
Knifeboy is a 2D Metroidvania where you play as a duded.. with a knife on its head? And he summon a spirit that also has a knife on the head to headbutt his opponent? At least he can roll around like Sonic while in the air, which makes the knife on the head useful.
It will be out On PC via Steam in 2019, and is 95% done. If you like to ask the one man responsible of this wonderful creation, he can be found here.
youtube
Did you miss the KFGS? Check out our video from their montage here! #screenshotsaturday #KFGShowcase #indiegame pic.twitter.com/tpX3T4Q7fz
— Clockwork Giant (@clockworkgiant) December 8, 2018
49: Vulpine
You play as animals with weapons in their mouth. That’s pretty weird. It’s also an open world action adventure game by Clockwork Giant Games.
The game will be out on PC via Steam in 2019.
youtube
50: Mini-Mech Mayhem
Not so sure what is weird with this one. Maybe funny. This PS VR game has you play a strategy game where you watch your mini-mechs on the tabletop battle it out.
It will be out in early 2019.
youtube
51: Rym 9000
The last weird game from the showcase.
Rym 9000 is a balls-to-the-walls shoot-em-up that require a epilepsy warning. Which it does for the trailer we put on here.
The game is out on PC via Steam already, but a PS4 release is said to be “within 3 months”, handled by the same developers as Everie. It will also have a limited physical release.
youtube
52: Log Jammers
This begins a list of couch-multiplayer games.
Log Jammers is like Windjammers. But replace the frisbee with a throwing axe and the court with a river where players float on logs.
The game is set for release in January 2019 the latest for the PS4, PC via Steam, Xbox One and Switch.
youtube
53: Turbolance
Up to four players can play this motorcycle jousting game. A demo is available.
It will be released on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch next year.
youtube
54: Thunder Rally
Remember the Micro Machine? Or its spiritual successor Mashed? Now take that top-down racing game with weapons and have them all in an arena for a demolition derby, but with weapons.
Oh and you can get out of your car and steal others.
It will be out on PC and consoles sometime next year.
youtube
55: Wreckout
This is the end of the multiplayer block of the showcase.
It’s multiplayer cars playing other games, but instead of football/soccer like in Rocket League, this time it’s.. Atari’s Breakout?
It will be out on PS4, PC via Steam, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch next year.
youtube
56: Ape Out
Hotline Miami by way of a stylised gorilla. Published by Devolver Digital (just like Hotline Miami), this is brutal twin-stick shooter that’s all about fast reflexes and adaptability.
Also, the gorilla you control can take enemies as a human shield and have them fire their guns. Also, you can chuck people out of windows.
Ape Out will be unleashed on February 7th on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch.
youtube
57: Fight Knight
Fight Knight is about a knight that fights with his fists.
Part first-person dungeon-crawler, part high-speed action fisticuffs, Fight Knight channels the aesthetics of murky sprites reminiscent of the PS1 era and make it look cool.
Explore the tower, solve puzzle, and fight some enemies. Also a ton of head-bobbing.
Fight Knight will be out in 2019 for the PS4, PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch. Hopefully.
youtube
58: Tunche
This gorgeous hand-drawn 2D beat-em-up supports up to four players as you smash your way in the Amazonian jungle. And you also have magical shaman powers.
The game is aiming for a PS4, PC via Steam, Xbox One and Switch release. A Kickstarter campaign will start on January 14th.
youtube
59: It Lurks Below
Do you know that David Brevik, the creator of Diablo, is now making games all by himself? It Lurks Below sure looks similar to Terraria but it has all the RPG mechanics you wanted. And of course, plenty of loot.
The game is out now on Steam Early Access.
youtube
60: Hardcore (Working Title)
Hardcore is not just a shooter homaging the 90’s, it is a shooter from the 90’s. Back in 1994, Psygnosis cancelled a game developed by DICE (yes, now know for Battlefield) which was almost finished. Now it is going to be released on PS4 and PS Vita.
Experience the “Euro-shooter” game of the 90’s, today! Or more accurately, 2019.
youtube
61: Supermarket Shriek
Ride a shopping cart with a goat across the supermarket. That itself is one strong game pitch.
When it’s already that silly, expect the supermarket layouts to get even sillier as well.
It will be out in 2019.
youtube
62: The Church In The Darkness
In this game, you are in South America to check up on your nephew, who is part of the The Collective Justice Mission. Followers of this cult has relocated to South America and founded Freedom Town.
What you do from here is entirely systematic. You can sneak in, knock out guards or kill your way through, with how you approach the situation changing the story being told.
It is coming to PS4, PC via Steam and Xbox One in 2019.
youtube
