I was reading your fic 'let's kill the bride!' and oh my god. I was so upset through out the fic. I did like it though. Though to be honest I can't say I liked the Kambe family.

That was the whole intention with the family. At the least, I expected the family to be disliked and that was on purpose!

19. Tell me a story about your writing journey. When did you start? Why did you start? Were there bumps along the way? Where are you now and where are you going?

Oh gosh lol. I no longer remember when I started haha. I think I wrote my first fic when I was 12? It was a self-insert Beyblade fanfic written in a notebook lmao (⁠*⁠﹏⁠*⁠;⁠) I just wanted to come up with scenarios about my anime obsessions so I wrote xD

But I really got involved in writing in my later teens, and then when I discovered a fic that blew me away in terms of the writer's use of language. I was like, Oh, I didn't know you can do that. (It was also because of that fic author that I got big on reading.)

Writing doesn't come easy to me, so that's always a sort of a sore spot. I'm impatient, and my brain is faster than my hands. I usually finish my fic in my head instead of writing them down lol. I'm not really that confident about my writing. Of course, these are not uncommon among writers; I'm not really unique about my hangups haha. I've already made peace about them anyway. Sort of. I found some ways to overcome my writing self-esteem issues.

Now I'm enjoying writing fic! Especially in this fandom 🥰 I'd like to write something original too, though, and try to submit them in literary magazines or something. This got rambly haha.

28. Who is the most delightful character you’ve ever written? Why?

I used to draw manga before so my OCs were all delightful lol. But for fandoms I've written fic for, hmm, I gotta say Kambe Daisuke from FKBU because it's hilarious when you put him in situations that are outside his life experience (ep. 4 forevah). Ikepri Emma is a close second! I always have fun writing her in my fics. She's fiery and determined and smart! :D

You reblogged fkbu screenshots a while ago. Opinions on that show? I just finished watching it and I thought it was cool!!

i watched that as it was coming out!!!

in my opinion they really bungled the pacing of the plot towards the end (there was this theory post i saw that they actually switched the order of some of the episodes and it fucked w the story which was really interesting). im still sad it was only one season long

but as for just sitting back and enjoying it i found it really fun, and also like super obviously fruity like oh my god those guys got married at the end slash serious theres official art to prove it and everything

not to mention All of episode four which was just. fanfic the episode ToT

all around a positive experience for me, cant believe that was two years ago now!

Haru Katou/Daisuke Kambe

Haru stared at the starched linens of the hospital bed. His eyes were burning, and his limps felt leaden from exhaustion. His pants had a sizeable new hole at his knee, and his clothing was stained by dirt, motor oil and blood.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw movement, and his head snapped up. Kambe had been eerily still, but now his right hand was moving, and he scrunched his face before he opened his eyes. They stayed unfocused and glassy for a moment.

Without thinking, Haru took Kambe’s hand and squeezed it hard. Probably too hard. Daisuke winced and looked over to him, his gaze clearing and focusing on Haru.

“Ah, it’s you inspector,” he murmured, his voice gravelly.

“Do you remember what happened?” Haru asked.

“Hmm not yet, but it’ll probably come back to me.”

Sighing heavily, Haru looked off to the side and muttered, “you scared the shit out of me. I thought—I thought lost you.”

For a moment nothing but thick silence filled the room, then Haru felt Kambe returning his touch. Careful and a bit clumsy his thumb was stroking the back of Haru’s hand. Turning back towards the millionaire Haru met his eyes. They shone with a rare vulnerability, and in the next moment he tugged slightly on Haru’s hand.

Without letting go of his hand, Haru stood up and leaned over Daisuke, brushing his nose against the other one’s. Then, he was kissing him. Slow and careful at first, mindful of his injuries, but when Daisuke started to kiss him back he made a choked off sound. Bringing up his right hand he cupped Daisuke’s face and deepened the kiss. He felt raw and desperate, torn between kissing him harder and forcing himself to be more gentle. Daisuke opened his mouth more and flicked his tongue against Haru’s lips, and Haru was gone. Panting into the kiss, chasing Daisuke’s lips, and feeling Daisuke’s breath, feeling him respond as best as he could in his current state, he was overcome by relief. He broke away just enough to speak. “Don’t do that again, don’t be so damn reckless.”

Daisuke chuckled humourlessly, “I don’t think you’re in any position to lecture me about being reckless.”

Pressing his forehead against Daisuke’s Haru closed his eyes. “I think it’s enough if one of us is reckless.”
