Has anyone ever felt like they have the perfect relationship or a relationship they should be happy in, but they want more? What do you do? Part of me wants to stay with my girlfriend cause she makes me happy sometimes, but also to just make everyone else happy while part of me wants to breakup with her just to see if there is someone better
When your upset and just want a hug... But you can't tell ur gf cuz u pissed her off (which is why ur upset btw which makes it worse) so how u gotta sit here just wanting a damn hug 🥲
i still think a lot about how technically, it's implied Anubis and Walt started dating each other before they asked out Sadie, and if Sadie had said she wasn't interested they would have gone "Entirely fair have a nice day" and proceed to just go continue to date each other.
Cause like, that was the entire thing. They decided that themselves. That things would work best if they were together (as in both physically sharing a body and also relationship-wise). The "asking Sadie about it" part was secondary. If she had said no, they would have stayed together, because among other things Walt would kind of die if they didn't. Walt and Anubis are technically the first gay couple in the Riordanverse. AND they're in a polyamorous relationship with Sadie. Why does no one talk about them ever.
I'm starting a charity specialised in reaching out to "stay-at-home-girlfriends" and "tradwife" influencers and sending them copies of Betty Friedan's work under the guise of paid sponsorship
i hate how this fandom treats calypso. like we know why percy forgot about his promise, we know all of this but she doesn’t. she’s trapped in a island with no sense of time and when a hero she loves promised her he would free her, all she knows is that he didn’t when she was naive enough to believe he would. and about the curse, girls are allowed to have nasty cruel thoughts and the way some people expected percy to act around her is really telling to how they see his character.
Ketheric Thorm is not homophobic, but he regularly sounds like he is and it is all Gortash and Durge's fault.
"I don't hate gay people, I just wish they wouldn't be all up in my face about it. No, literally, they are kissing six inches from my face. Please make them stop."
Ankarna and Fig are the real parallels - fire-attuned women who lost themselves in trying to be what the people around them needed. We know this, we love this
But is that gonna stop me from writing fics where a vengeful goddess of rage stokes the fires of instinctual possessiveness in a teenage dragonborn with a crush, reminding him that her wife was stolen from her by people who didn't understand, telling him to hold her tight and refuse to let her go less she be stolen from him? No
