ive seen a bunch of posts about the brothers being obsessed with MC, but imagine the opposite? like MC getting jealous easily over one of the brothers and really possessive, how would they react? the brothers being twisted or not is up to you

Ahshfijwysiq!! Im gonna go on a HUGE ramble lmao- so bare with me. But oh man, I can imagine this being the case if that were to happen;

Mc was an angel from heaven who knew the brothers way before they fell. Every day for years or before time became a proper concept, Mc would stay by their side - fascinated by the way they would think and work alongside Micheal and all the other archangels. The brothers were their idols, something they could look up to, something they wanted to BECOME.

Truly, they were infantuated with the brother's to the point of borderline obession. Of course, they always put their god first, but whenever they weren't devoting their every being to their master- their mind was filled with nothing but the archangels that shined above them.

Mc's fellow angel friends became worried for Mc. Something about them was...Wrong. But they couldn't place their finger on it.

The brother's knew about Mc and their infatuation. Lucifer was the first to discover it before the others would soon realise how obessed they were for them.

Lucifer paid no mind to the lowly angel who fawned over him. It was adorable seeing the ways you devoted yourself to him. Bringing him offerings and words of sweet praise. He hated to admit it, but your sweet honeyed gestures fueled the pride inside him.

Mammon found you absolutely hilarious! The way you would go on your hands and knees just to please him was amusing, to say the least. Sure, he had a bunch of angels who adored him, but you were interesting. Shouldn't you be busy protecting the humans on earth? But over time, he could careless if you were doing your heavely duties or not if it meant that you were worshipping him with those shiny jewls you diligently handcrafted. You can say he got a bit greedy with your kind gifts..

Leviathan was not too fond of you at first. You should be doing your duties as an angel! Why were you so stupidly taking up your time entertaining his older brothers? He found it repulsing how you followed him around like a lost puppy while he ordered the army of angels. Though, he would soon warm up to you the day he saw you stalk him from afar while he visited the earth's waters - admiring the fish and aquatic creatures that happily flourished. You really were hoplesss weren't you? Eversince then, Leviathan clung to you whenever he was free from his duties. Often cuddling onto you while he happily rambled to you about the fascinating cultures and arts the humans had discovered on earth. But sadly, Leviathan would come to hate you out of the jealousy he felt when you began to talk to Satan.. You just loved to go around, didn't you?

Satan was shocked with your intentions when you approached him. Created by god to give Lucifer an angel who was made to follow in his footsteps- a leading example to the other angels on how they should obey and treat their superiors. He thought that you were just a simple angel, looking for advice on how to better the world and very self. But no, you were just fascinated with him for himself. Not for Lucifer, not for the knowledge he knew - but just for him? He was beyond confused. Why? That was odd. So when Asmodeus whisked you away out of pure curiousity, his calm patience had a rude awakening as he clenched his fist with a feeling he was too familiar with. Couldn't you have stayed a bit longer?

Asmodeus was absolutely ecstatic and thrilled when he heard about you from his brothers. A new friend?! Finally! Someone he could talk to! Asmodeus was constantly by your side, always excited to chat with you. How did you manage to talk to Leviathan out of all beings? What did Mammon say about him? Did you see Lucifer smile?! He was always bombarding you with questions that you were more than happy to answer. Asmodeus was a chipper angel who never failed to make you blush whenever he smiled at you. He would often take you to the human world, teaching you how to disguise yourself as a human while you explored the small villages.

Beelzebub and Belphegor were introduced to you through Asmodeus. They paid no mind to you giving them gifts while you happily followed them around. You were fun to be around with. You were comforting. So when they heard that you were close with their older brother's, they were happy. An angel who brought their family joy and entertainment, it was interesting. The twins were a bit skeptical with your behavior, talking amongst themselves about your intentions. You were a bit..Intense. Always fixating on the smallest things they did - pushing away the other angels who tried approaching them. You were always so frantic to be with them and them alone. Were you like this with the others? It didn't matter, though. You were harmless and sweet to them.

When the brothers fell and the celestial war broke out- Mc's illusion of the brothers cracked. They weren’t distraught by the change or the fact that they had fallen and killed their fellow angel kind. Mc was more..Heartbroken. They knew that they wouldn't see the brothers again. So why didn't they fall if they were so devoted to the brothers? Sure, Mc was in love with them- but.. Could they really leave the life they were so used?

You'd think someone so obessed, someone who spent their time worshipping them would follow them to the pits of hell, right? But no, at the time, Mc just stood there - watching heaven's establishment go to war. They had a choice. They weren't pressured to stay and kill their rebellious kind. They chose it.

So when the war had passed and the formation of hell and its establishments were made. Devildom forming on the surface of hell, building a society similar to earth's and the devil himself promoting an exchange program for the three realms to reunite. Mc was the first one to volunteer to attend the so-called 'RAD' education program. Especially when the seven lords of hell were there..

Mc was terrified when they stood there at the chair room, feeling their eyes stare directly into them. Did they remember them? Did they miss them? God, they wanted to hug them and cry on the spot. Staring at them, you felt a rush of nostalgia hit them. Even when they have fallen from grace, they are still always on top of the rest.

So now, onto the question.. How would the brothers react to Mc getting possessive over them?

Well, to be honest- they'd find it hilarious! Almost sad if anything..But still endearing. You've lost them in the past, so you don't wanna lose them again. You're constantly slaving away to their every request and demand. Frantically trying to win their affection and forgiveness. They've already forgiven you - hell, they've waited for the day you'd come back to them. But what's the fun in you knowing that? Plus, it's absolutely adorable seeing you so deseperately hoarding their time and attention for your own selfish needs. For an angel, you aren't really good at keeping yourself humble and graceful. They would have fun with you. Playing with your emotions while they keep you close to them.

"Mc..Do you really care about us? Sometimes it's hard to tell..Espically when you're barely there for us. So why don't you just cancel your plans and spend time with us. We can watch a movie and share our favorite snacks"

"Mc..You'll sleep with me tonight right? I miss the cuddles we used to have back then..You miss it too, don't you? Come on, who cares if you have homework. You came down here to see us afterall.."

"Today I went to the cat Café with Sylia and we got to see all the cute cats. It was adorable seeing her smile..I almost blushed when she looked at me..Oh sorry? Why are you upset Mc? Don't worry, I'll make it up to you okay? Now come closer.."

"Oh, you wanted to be there with me? Mhn..Sorry, I just prefered having them go instead of you. Sorry~ Awww don't pout honey. It's cute seeing your feathers all ruffled up but I hate to see you cry! Come here..I'll treat you to something much better~"

"Why do ya have my stuff? I know I'm absolutely irresistible~ But aren't cha supposed to be charitiable as an angel? Sigh..That's it, if you're gonna be stealing my stuff- you might as well move into my room. Oh what a shame.."

"Ugh, I really fucking hate you. You always move from one thing to the next. I thought you wanted to see me again..Do I have to tie you down just to keep you still? Seriously, it's like your asking for it."

"Starlight...I missed calling you that. Is it uncomfortable? You're not slipping away right? You can always adjust yourself if you're falling off my lap. You're hilarious, hexing those demons for insulting me. That wasn't really nice of you darling~"

It's addicting seeing their doting dove shove and push others away from them. Seeing how rilied up and frustrated they get whenever they dare look or pay any mind to anyone but them. How they would glare at the other demon while clinging onto them so shamelessly. Constantly shoving themselves into events or conversations they weren't invited to.

Most people would find it annoying. If anything- most of the demons in devildom found it annoying. But the brothers.. They found it amusing. You were so easy to manipulate, to control, to love. You'd swoon over the smallest of praises they gave you, uncaring about the atrocities they were capable of...

You miss them.. You even had a little shrine inside your room with their belongings! They've missed you too.. It's such a shame that you'll eventually return to heaven..

"You love us, don't you? You'd do anything for us, right? So why don't you actually commit to it and join us. Unless.. You want to abandon us. Just like before."

"You don't want to do that, right? The choice is yours."

Divine Misunderstanding.

a/n: this concept has been rotting my brain. I thoroughly believe that Mammon and Micheal are almost identical. also not beta or proof read 😭 dialogue in bold.

“I promise I’ll be fine Mammon.” you reassured your demon. “But what if somethin’ happens to ya’ up there? What’ll I do huh? I gotta come.” “You are not going.” Lucifer quickly rebuffed. “Mammon it’s the Celestial Realm, it’s not dangerous. Plus I will be there with Simeon and Luke! They won’t let anything happen to me.” “I know it’s just… ugh I don’t like ya leaving me!”

Truth be told you wished Mammon was going with you on this trip. As annoying as he is, you loved your greedy demon, and he made you feel safe. You felt silly for being more nervous about being in heaven than in hell. Maybe you were the only human on earth who felt this way.

You had been to the Celestial Realm once before, but this was different. This time you were going to meet Michael. You were the representative for the human realm. You were a diplomat speaking on behalf of your entire race about relations between the three worlds to the Prince of Heaven, no biggy! It’s not like Diavolo’s reputation was on the line or you could accidentally start Armageddon or anything… God you wished Mammon could come.

This was going to be easy, you told yourself. Just a chat with an Angel! You talk to Simeon all the time and he likes you. What do you talk about with Micheal though? It’s not like you're the most fond of him. He’s caused a lot of problems for your Demons. You really loved them and anyone who hurt them was not a friend of yours, but you would suck it up.

“So what’s Micheal like?” You asked the Demons sitting around the dinner table in an attempt to stop Mammon from begging more. Plus it doesn’t hurt to be extra prepared.

“Well he has a surprisingly timid personality wise. He loves humans tho so you’ve already got that going for you.”

“Ok that’s good to know. Anything else I should know?”

“He likes sweets?”

“I already knew that, I made him some, but thanks anyways. I am going to get some rest, I have to meet your “brother” tomorrow and I want to make a good impression.”

“He’s real handsome too.” Mammon said under his breath, not loud enough for you to hear already walking away.

Although Mammon was the most vocal, they were all uncomfortable with you meeting Micheal. What if you liked him more than them? I mean he is an angel after all.

You knew that no matter how incredible this guy was, he would never compare to your boys. But it didn’t stop them from worrying. In fact, that night you woke up with at least 5 demons who came to your room sometime while you were asleep, clinging to you for dear life. You didn’t mind the cuddles.

You woke up to the sound of your alarm which you quickly silenced. You slipped out of the grasp of a certain gluttonous demon and got ready, careful not to wake them. Once you were ready you texted Simeon to come meet you at HoL so you could go.

Simeon and Luke picked you up, happy to see you. You honestly looked less than happy to see them. You felt bad, you loved being around them, it was just going to the celestial realm you were dreading.

You walked your way to RAD while Luke talked your ear off about all the sweets he’s going to make for you and Micheal at “home”.

His adorable puppy-like positivity cheered you up, if even a little. He also complimented the pastries you were bringing. Once you entered the student council room at RAD Diavalo opened a portal to the Celestial Realm. You stepped through with Simeon and Luke as he and Barbatos wished you luck. You felt like you might need it.

Once you got there your worries faded pretty quickly. There is a sense of serenity there that is contagious. It’s heaven. You were greeted by guards who you assume were Micheals staff that escorted you to the castle. Giant castle doors and endless hallways astounded you. It was pretty here. Finally you arrived at a cute little garden with outdoor seating and tea. Once there, the guards explained Micheal apologizes for his tardiness but was in a meeting and would be out shortly to greet you.

Your nerves somewhat settling made you realize you had to pee. You asked one of the guards where the nearest bathroom was and he didn’t respond. Jackaas. Simeon then explained it was down the hall and to the right. Simeon and Luke let you walk there on your own, this was a safe place after all.

While you walked down the giant hallway you were greeted with a man who happened to be going the opposite direction. Wait.. Is that?

MAMMON??

You quickly grabbed him and pulled him into the closest room, the bathroom.

“Mammon what in the Devildom are you doing here?? Did Lucifer send you?”

The man went to open his mouth but you cut him off

“-Of course he didn’t. He wouldn’t risk Diavalo’s reputation or your safety. Ugh Mammon I told you that you couldn’t come! Why do you never listen.” You say, dramatically banging your head on his chest.

“God I really gotta get you out of here. I am just about to meet with Micheal. If he’s anything like the guards I’ve met so far he’s probably a real stick in the mud. Ok I’m gonna go meet with Micheal and you get out of here while he’s distracted. And you BETTER not steal anything! Seriously if you steal anything you’ll receive a punishment from me that will make even Lucifer tremble. Be careful though.” You said the last part a little more gently.

Surprisingly he smirked? Such a masochist

You cupped his cheek with a smirk on your face “By the way, this Angel costume really suits you. Even in white you’re devilishly handsome.” You said before kissing him

“I don’t know about the wig though.” You winked at him and left the bathroom, hurrying back to Simeon and Luke.

Something about that interaction just now was.. off? First of all he tasted off, sweeter maybe? Plus Mammon is a huge loudmouth and he was totally stunned into silence. It’s not like it’s the first time you two have kissed. In fact you have done a lot more…

Whatever he was probably just off because he was caught in the act. You walked back to Simeon and Luke and acted as if nothing had happened. You couldn’t tell them, even if they were willing to help it could get them in trouble.

Minutes passed while you three chatted, drank tea, and ate the little cookies that were laid out. Suddenly the sound of footsteps approaching tore you from your conversation. To your horror the person entering the room was Mammon! You told him to run, what’s he doing?

If you weren’t horrified before you, your soul just about left your body when the little blonde boy seated next to you got up and hugged him screaming “Micheal! Micheal, I missed you!”

Oh god(?) no.

You can’t think of a deity to pray to for mercy before the man approaches you timidly with his hand out, for you to shake…?

“I’m so sorry.” You say dropping to your knees.

You were sure that your shame and embarrassment was going to kill you right here right now. At Least you're in Heaven right! This is worse than anything you have ever experienced in the Devildom.

Ten minutes ago you were worried about whether you should greet him with “Hi!” or “Hello!” and you now realize you greeted him with your tongue down his throat.

Simeon and Luke share a confused look while Micheal blushes more furiously than he was before. You look up at him but he avoids your gaze.

He really is like Mammon.

You had practically assaulted the guy and here he was trying to be nice. (I mean is it that surprising though? He’s an angel.) You're probably just embarrassing him further.

You stood up, dusted off your knees, and looked him in the eyes. You mustered up everything you had to speak clearly and shake his still hanging hand.

“Hello. I am MC, the diplomat representing the Human Realm. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

“I’m Michael” is all he said in response.

Simeon was confused but understood more than Luke who was totally lost.

“Uhm.. are you gonna say anything else Micheal.” Luke said, trying to break this awkward silence.

“I have Macarons!” You said.

Micheal’s interested seemed to be peaked by that.

“Well then, let’s eat.” Micheal said, sitting opposite of you at the table.

You had honestly already eaten but you would happily stuff your face if it meant you didn’t have to speak right now. After the food was all gone Simeon (being the angel he is) offered to take the plates. Luke of course insisted on helping him.

Leaving you and Micheal…

“Those Macarons, did you make them?” Micheal asked

“Uhm yeah! Barbatos and Luke taught me but I put my own spin on them. They’re raspberry ganache.”

“They were divine, I must have the recipe.” He said with a small smile

“Yeah for sure, I’ll have Luke give it to you!”

…more silence

“So about earlier I wanted to say-“

“It’s ok. Really” He said, cutting you off this time.

“Mammon and I were often mistaken for each other when he was an angel, so I understand. Plus I really did not mind the uhm… kiss” He said, clearing his throat

“Oh!” You said, literally not knowing what else to say.

“I also do hope you enjoy your time here. I wouldn’t want to ruin your trip. I hope I’m not a um.. what was it you said? “Stick in the mud.”

You assaulted and insulted him. Nice going MC.

“Oh no you’re not! I’m not just saying that either. You’re really sweet, I was just really nervous about meeting you and the guard seemed like he didn’t like me so I was even more worried. I have been seriously stressed for days about meeting you. Believe it or not I actually practiced meeting you a bunch.”

He laughed

“Sorry I know that’s kind of weird.” You said thinking you may have overshared a bit.

“No no… It’s fine it’s just humorous that you thought I wouldn’t like you. You're quite the wildcard but I find you fascinating. I've never met a human quite like you.”

“Is that good?”

“Perhaps.” He said, smiling.

The rest of the day went swimmingly. The ice between you and Michael had been

thoroughly broken. You spent the rest of the day chatting with Simeon and Luke and Micheal and baking some treats.

Right before it was time to go Micheal pulled you aside for a moment.

“You are quite captivating, I hope you come and visit again soon. I am old so this may be surprising, but I admit that was my first kiss. I hope one day we can have a second.” He whispered into your ear.

You blushed furiously “Hope to see you again!”

It’s safe to say you made quite the impression. Still though, you would take your Demon over angel anyday.

Bonus:

MC enters HoL

“MAMMONNNN”

“Ya’ sound like Lucifer! What’s the problem?”

“You didn’t think that Micheal looking exactly like you with a ponytail may have been an important detail to mention?”

“Well I told you he was handsome” He smirked.

Enter the rest of the brothers.

“Oh MC how did it go!!” Asmo beamed

“Oh it went alright! I am officially the first ever being to have FRENCHED GOD.”

It would be really sweet if like,, after the exchange program, Madoka Magica god ik gave each of them a magical ribbon so she can visit them, so they all find a way to integrate the ribbon onto their normal outfits, like Mammon ties it to his sweeper thingy on his belt, and Luci ties his along with his rope thingy on his waist, just very sweet.

so every now and then they will hear ik's voice drifting in the HOL, and they leave small treats and knickknacks for her, so she won't be lonely in her plane of existence. (santa claus????)

and even a little crackish for the angels, sometimes luke's cluster sees a girl with translucent wings and a white dress follow luke around, but the second they blink shes gone, so they just sit there wondering 'who the heck was that????'

and EVEN BETTER when micheal asks/interrogates simeon about it, he just watches as simeon tugs a blue ribbon attached to his gold charm a little, next thing he hears is a bunch of bells and singing before he gets whacked in the head.

and not a second later he hears a voice in his head saying 'TOUCH SIMEON AND I WILL SEND THE CLARA DOLLS AFTER YOU. TRY ME.' and after a few seconds simeon clears his throat and awkwardly goes 'is that an explanation?'. turns out the two angels befriended a universal god, fun.

oh i LIKE THIS VERY MUCH INDEED

asmo probably finds a new way to accessorise with his ribbon every day, levi and satan wear it around their wrists like a friendship bracelet, beel twines it around the thread of his necklace-pendant-thing, belphie ties it around his top button... while they're at the r.a.d. they tie it to the medal on their uniform

luke gives his ribbon a twirl whenever his cluster's getting weird and ik promptly scares the shit out of them by pretending to be a super duper senior angel and telling them off. every time levi uses his ribbon he mutters a little battle line like he's using a summon in a video game. the possibilities are endless and adorable

i reckon ik would also use these little windows to check up on them - lucifer falls asleep at his desk and his hand brushes against his ribbon, and when he wakes up he's lying on the couch with a blanket and all his paperwork neatly stacked into a pile

And they better know better cause I will not hesitate and also if Diavolo wants to sponsor the wedding, we going big and having an amazing honeymoon and yes we will have at LEAST one kid cause imagining Mammon as a dad is so cute and i probably would adore him even more with a baby in his arms and also imagine that the other brothers spoil his kid(s) cause baby and they are innocent of their sin and won’t have the same pressure as they do

Also cause Mammon is great with kids and also having Luke admit not all demons are bad and adoring a tiny half demon baby is also cute💜

Oh, The fucking anger that was building up in his mind was going to quickly give him a migraine-he doesn't need no shiny warrior to "fix" his unhealthy habits of working. MC you can't "fix" him into some actual nice healthy man, I swear to MICHEAL HIMSF-He probably tries his best to be polite towards MC and understands while they're only trying to help him in the best ways possible, but he feels that they aren't fully exactly awareness of how your ability/complex really pisses him off to the HIGHEST at times. Though, he does take comfort in knowing that even at his lowest, you're not one to give up on him and you're going to nag him about "stop caring about the paperwork" and "care for himself more".

Mammon

Honestly he probably feeds into it at first, thinking you just really were a healthy caring person type^^. -Resume a week later, your helpfulness has absolutely not been helpful to him in any way. No doubt he is fucking pissed at how he has earned absolutely no money with how everytime he's go off to gamble, or plan some new schemes, you're there to tell him "no" like-WHO DOES THAT ???, But on the other hand, Lucifer finds you pleasing because you're pretty much of 2.0 of him when he isn't there, to tell Mammon no. And what do you mean, he cannot take any model jobs for some extra cash, they're just "using his looks"-MC, that's the point of modeling?!!! MC I recommend you stop trying to be a savior towards Mammon, before you have a very cranky, broke angry Crow on your hands,,,

Sir is as pissy as Lucifer himself, boy-No MC, he doesn't need your help controlling his goddamn anger, he's the avatar of wrath for gods [haha get it god] sake. He tries to control his anger and snarky comments the most when you're around. As much as he adores talking about different interests and such, you giving a lecture/nagging him isn't what he signed for. Although your complex is rather......interesting to him. He tries his best to break it in some sorts.

LUCIFER

As we all know, Lucifer is probably the brother who has the least control over his temper, alongside Satan and Belphegor.

So, he'll probably do well with someone who has a lot of patience. It's good to have someone calm to his uncontrollable outbursts.

Lucifer gets annoyed by your patience sometimes though, he can't help it. He doesn't know why either, sometimes watching you be totally calm whilst he's so close to losing it, it makes my frustrated.

Sometimes, it'll remind him of who he was in the Celestial Realm. Reminds him of Micheal, Lilith and every other person with that God forsaken saint like patience.

On one side, he loves it. On the other, he hates it.

MAMMON

Mammon somehow manages to be the one who has the best self-control but also has the worst patience ever. The boy can't sit still no matter how hard he tries, it's probably why he always fails. He just doesn't have the patience to study.

He's pretty grateful about how patient you are with him though. Not a lot of people are. Scratch that, nobody has ever been as patient with him as you were. Not since the Celestial Realm days.

He'll constantly try to get you to go along with his scams, but he fails, and every single time he's shocked at how understanding and patient you are about his habits. And everything else.

He does his best to be patient with you, doing his best to return the favor.

LEVIATHAN

Another one who is shocked. What do you mean you have an endless amount of patience to listen to him with? How do you do it?

Most of the time he doesn't actually believe that you have the patience you do. He's ready for you to snap at his ranting anytime, and sometimes when he's going on and on about his new favorite show he'll eye you distrustfully.

I mean, how could anybody possibly have that much patience? Almost all of his siblings will sigh annoyed when we rants or just not listen at all.

He doesn't get you at all. But it feels really nice. Having somebody who will actually listen to him.

SATAN

Satan, just like Mammon, has great self-control but the worst patience ever. None of the brothers have a lot of patience, with the expecting of Beelzebub, but Satan can not handle more than five seconds of something he finds bothersome.

He's honestly so shocked at the amount of patience you have. He finds it nice though, since not a lot of people have the patience to deal with his temper. You do though, and for that's he's extremely grateful.

Actually, he's grateful for all you. You're absolutely wonderful, and whilst he never did have a lot of patience, he too will do his best to return the patience you give him.

ASMODEUS

Asmodeus is actually one of the brothers with the highest amount of patience. And that says a lot since he has almost zero patience for everything.

He adores that you have a lot of patience though. It's so different from his brothers, so it's a bit nice to steal you away and hang just the two of you.

In a way, you remind him of Lilith and the Celestial Realm. Angels are known to have a lot of patience, and Asmodeus and his brothers used to have patience, but it fades after the years,

And in it's void an uncomfortable silence filled. He's glad you came and filled that silence, so much more grateful than you could ever imagine.

BEELZEBUB

Surprise, surprise, Beelzebub is actually the brother with the most patience. Though that probably didn't come as a surprise, did it?

He'll ask Lucifer for cooking duty more often then he did before. Why? He wants to cook for you. You always put in the time and energy to cook for him, so he wants to return the favor.

The same goes for everything else. He's there to help if you're struggling with his brothers, there is something that's bothering you, or you need help with something.

You put in the time, energy, patience and anything else to help both him and his family. And now you are his family too, so he'll do his best to help you whenever he can.

BELPHEGOR

It's rather obvious that Belphegor isn't a very patient person. He gets annoyed when things don't go fast enough, or people are doing something he's unhappy with. He's the type to complain whenever somebody is breathing too loudly anywhere near him.

Belphegor is never going to understand you. It's something he is sure of. You're so patient, even when he does nothing but complain and whine about how everything sucks.

He struggles, finding the energy to do anything. It's been like that ever since Lilith died and he and his brothers fell to the Devildom. It's not like he wants to have no energy, he can't help it. He's grateful for your patience with him, just like he's grateful for everything else about you.
