ok so the thing is, the kiss really was the best way crowley knew to convey his feelings to aziraphale because nina and maggie were right, they do talk but they never say what they mean.
but that doesn’t mean they don’t understand each other, at least to a certain extent.
and crowley knows aziraphale
he knows that he loves books and plays and the stories made by humanity. he watches his angel learn magic the human way and finds out he learned french the human way and knows better than anyone how much he loves human food. he throws a ball to get nina and maggie together because that’s what the humans in jane austen novels would do.
crowley knows that aziraphale romanticizes humanity, loves the drama and the stories and every little thing that makes humans human.
and what could be more human than a desperate kiss asking someone to stay

Prompt 119
Another divine twitch chat Au? Another divine twitch chat Au. With a bit of a twist.
Billy would like to say it is in fact not his fault. It’s really not. Who hits someone with magic they obviously don’t know how to use? Well okay maybe he had done that before, but it’s not like he ever did it around other people where they could get hit!
But someone was an idiot and now he’s here, as his normal ten-year old self kicking his legs while sitting in the Watchtower as the others argued. Apparently the League thinks he’s been de-aged, which is good as his secret isn’t out.
The uh, issue is that something about the spell might have um, partially manifested the gods- or as he called them the Mediterranean Magic Men, if only because of how annoyed it made Zeus. Now everyone can see the chat that’s usually only visible to him and apparently it’s concerning.
He doesn’t see how it’s an issue, Zeus has been silenced for the next hour and Hercules has been dying of laughter for the last three. Oh, wait, it might be from Mercury’s constant attempted flirting with Flash.
…Or the fact they’re trying to convince him to commit a crime and he’s honestly down for doing so seeing as he’s a homeless ten year old who is down for getting clairvoyance and super speed for the next thirty minutes in exchange…

It may take generations of effort but it is possible, and honorable, to move the Earth
Stories of humans leaving Earth behind due to catastrophe are not rare, but the mass exodus usually happens on a spaceship. I'm going to make a bold generalization here but I think a lot of you would agree these movies draw their philosophy from Noah's ark. In the west, when nature is destroyed it's usually unstoppable, like the wrath of god. Humans live in god's creation, so when god's creation comes to an end, humanity is at god's mercy. In Chinese mythology however, there is no such supreme being, humans and gods alike obey the natural order, the "Tao", if you will.
So, in Chinese flood myths the hole in the sky is patched up by a goddess, the flood from the Yellow River was contained and drained by human constructions over the course of 13 long years. The Chinese equivalent of the Icarus myth talks about a man chasing the sun and dying of thirst, but he leaves behind a peach forest as a water supply so that future generations may continue the chase. In Chinese mythology, and thus, philosophy, nature is malleable: It can be shaped, it can be conquered. It may take generations of effort but it is possible, and honorable, to move the Earth.
