I'm turtle
You know how being too fond of something or someone can slow you way down when you're doing research on them?
I'm looking up sources, checking notes and for every minute I'm on track, I spend three more shrieking with joy and sometimes a couple of days more if I get sidetracked and want to watch the entire Run BTS series again.

⚡️Solomon and mc please if you are still doing these.
"What good is this "great power" of mine? Absolutely everything slips through my fingers." - Solomon/MC
Tumblr media
This wasn’t supposed to happen.
You were supposed to be safe here in the human realm. Safe with him.
“Solomon,” your voice is weak as you call out his name, lying in the middle of the room. Blood is seeping through the bandages tightly wrapped around your wounds. Your eyes flicker as you seem to fade in and out of consciousness.
Shit. That potion didn’t work either.
“Don’t speak. Don’t move. I’ll get you fixed up.” He does his best to keep his voice calm, swallowing the panic that threatens to take over. No, he needs to focus. He needs to find the right ingredients, he needs to measure precisely, he needs to find the damn spell or potion or whatever it is that will undo the damage that’s laid claim to your body.
Books go flying off the shelves, circling in a dizzying array around the sorcerer as pages flip rapidly. He had taken you to one of his secret abodes spread throughout the human realm, all stocked with various magical items and artifacts along with numerous grimoires and journals he had collected over centuries. A treasure trove for any occult enthusiast – but currently, an archive of desperation.
“There has to be something here. It’s a complex curse, but it still seems to be human-made, though with some demonic assistance, so,” he speaks his thoughts aloud, talking more to himself than to you, “I just need to find what can neutralize it.”
Surely he can find it. Solomon has never met a curse that he couldn’t eventually break, faced a foe he couldn’t manipulate, discovered a spell he couldn’t replicate. The air fills with the noise of a sorcerer gone mad – the clinks and clanks of vials and bottles, the continuous flutter of pages turning, the hiss and bubbling of items being thrown together, the scrape of metal against glass, of chalk against wood and the crackle of fire.
“This one should work.”
It didn’t.
“Okay, maybe this one.”
Another failure.
“This one has to be it.”
No.
“Please.”
Solomon slumps beside you after his latest attempt, his face in his hands and his deep breath turns into an exasperated yet muffled yell. His hands travel up his head, fingers tightly gripping at his hair as a hiss leaves his lips.
Solomon the Wise. Solomon the Witty Sorcerer. These names and more had plagued him for so long, were ones he at times embraced and gloated over. He had been the most powerful human in existence, continuing to obtain more and more power so that he could show the angels and demons that they couldn’t control him, control humans. It wasn’t without sacrifices, without pain and hardship. He still lost so much.
And now, he was afraid of losing you.
There was no other choice. He was going to have to call upon the demons for help.
“What good is this great power of mine?” His voice nearly breaks, tears stinging at the corner of his eyes. “Absolutely everything slips through my fingers.”
“Not everything, old man.”
Solomon jolts up, eyes wide as he looks to you after hearing your shaky voice.
You let out a low groan, shifting in place before slightly propping yourself up on your elbows. “Come on, you didn’t think I would go down that easily, did you?” You wince. “Have some faith in your apprentice. I’m basically as strong as you.”
Your name leaves him in a near-sob as he scrambles up and throws his arms around you. “Oh thank the stars, you’re okay.”
“Ow,” you respond, but sink into his embrace. “I’m not touching a strange statue again for a good while after this.”
“I’m sorry,” Solomon releases you, checking over your wounds to ensure that you are now healing. “I should have known, I should have stopped you, I should have –”
“Solomon.” You stop him, brushing some of his wispy locks from his face. “It was an accident. You can’t always be there watching over me. And if it wasn’t for you, I would be in a lot worse shape.” Placing a hand on his cheek, you gaze affectionately into his eyes. “Thank you.”
He swallowed his protests. It was true that you were on a path to quickly overtake him as the most powerful human sorcerer the world had ever known. He was going to have to get used to you getting into dangerous situations, used to you wielding such power and the responsibility that came with it. He was no longer alone in carrying that burden.
With a sigh, Solomon rests his forehead against yours. “Looks like I’m going to have to make a lot more protection charms.”

Hi! I absolutely love your fics! I have a little request/idea. Sebastian finds out that MC has a little crush on professor sharp and all of a sudden can’t stand his favorite professor. (His small crush on professor garlick is totally different and super justified)
jealousy, you got me somehow
Tumblr media
Pairing: Sebastian Sallow x f!MC
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 1.7K
Summary: Sebastian finds out about your little crush on a certain Potions master and all of a sudden can’t stand the man. (His small crush on Professor Garlick is, of course totally different and super justified.)
“You’re sure you won’t become too affected by Sharp’s dulcet tones and neglect something important?” he asks with a smirk. Annoyed, you huff and abandon your notes at your side. “You’ve been waiting several days to bring this up again,” you grumble. “I should’ve known I wasn’t safe.”
Sebastian first finds out about your little preoccupation when he innocently stumbles upon you studying with a group of your fellow Slytherin girls in a quiet corner of the library. Or at least, it was quiet until Nerida Roberts had started to derail your entirely legitimate conversation about the uses of Dittany for an upcoming Potions exam by bringing up Professor Sharp himself.
“He’s just so handsome,” she sighs dreamily. “How am I supposed to focus on what’s going on in my cauldron when he’s standing right across the room looking all brooding and roguish?”
Violet McDowell giggles and adds, “I could listen to him talk all afternoon and I wouldn’t learn a single thing!”
“I suppose that’s why so many seventh-year girls are still taking Potions even if they don’t need it for their N.E.W.T.s,” you murmur.
“Can you blame us?” Violet sighs. “You must admit, he’s quite nice to look at.”
“Of course I think he’s handsome,” you say with a scoff. “Just because I have a boyfriend doesn’t mean I can’t see the man.”
As if on cue, Sebastian comes around the corner carrying a large stack of books on defensive magic and spots the three of you huddled around your Potions notes.
“Good afternoon, ladies,” he says with an easy smile.
Sebastian sets his books on the edge of the table and leans down next to you to steal a chaste kiss while he can. He’s seen relatively little of you this week while you both prepare for exams in classes the other doesn’t have, so not even your late-night study sessions have overlapped.
“Speak of the devil,” Nerida teases.
“Shh!” you whisper. “Enough now.”
“Not keeping secrets from me, are you?” Sebastian asks teasingly as he snags one of the empty seats.
“Of course not,” you demur. “By the way, have you got my Potions notes from last week? I think I mixed them up with yours from Ancient Runes.”
Sebastian chuckles and asks, “Trying to change the subject? I must have walked into something quite scandalous.”
“It’s nothing bad,” Nerida says teasingly. “We were just chatting about Professor Sharp.”
“Oh?” Sebastian asks, surprised. “What’s he done now?”
“Nothing,” Violet McDowell answers. “We were just saying that he’s easily the most handsome professor at Hogwarts.”
“He’s certainly your girlfriend’s favorite,” Nerida says with a smirk.
Sebastian raises a skeptical eyebrow at you, and sure enough, you’re blushing.
“Really?” he drawls. “You have a thing for Sharp?”
“No!” you whine. “I just – I really like Potions class, that’s all.”
“Of course you do,” Violet taunts. “So you can moon over Sharp during his lectures!”
You shoot Violet a threatening look and not-so-gently kick the toe of your boot against her shin underneath the table. She yelps and curses under her breath before indignantly burying her face behind her Potions textbook, and Nerida wisely avoids eye contact and doesn’t offer anything further.
After a beat, Sebastian clears his throat and says, “Well then, I, er… suppose I’ll leave you girls to it.”
He helps himself to one more kiss goodbye and you can tell by the significant look he gives you before leaving that this is not the last you’ll hear from him about your crush.
Sure enough, a few nights later the two of you manage to claim a loveseat by the fire in your common room where you can curl up against his side and revise your Potions notes one last time before your exam while Sebastian dutifully transcribes runic diagrams onto lengths of parchment.
“Are you feeling prepared for your exam tomorrow?” he asks you casually.
“I think so,” you answer. “It’s not a practical, so I can’t imagine it will be too challenging.”
“What?” he laughs. “I’m just teasing you, love.”
You narrow your eyes at him skeptically. “I’m not sure I believe you.”
“Well, it’s just… I don’t really know what you see in him, that’s all,” he murmurs, lazily turning a page in his Ancient Runes textbook.
You frown. “What do you mean?”
“I just think he’s rather foul,” Sebastian says plainly. “He’s impatient, meticulous, he’s clearly got a dark past and I truly don’t understand why all you girls think he’s obviously the most handsome man at Hogwarts. To me, he’s simply average.”
Merlin’s beard, you think. You knew Sebastian wasn’t a fan of Hogwarts’ Potions master, but you had no idea his dislike ran so deep.
“I think he’s a good professor,” you offer quietly. “He’s always been quite helpful to me, especially when I needed to master healing potions, and he saved my life in the Repository.”
“How generous of him,” Sebastian mumbles.
Angrily, you sit up a little straighter and pluck Sebastian’s quill out of his hand so he’ll look at you.
“And what about you?” you demand indignantly. “While we’re on the subject of good-looking professors, I happen to know that you turn into a stammering, blushing fool whenever Professor Garlick is nearby.”
You know for a fact that Sebastian Sallow is not an idiot, which is why it’s all the more frustrating when he tries to deny something you’ve known about for months.
“I do not!” Sebastian protests. “That’s – that’s ridiculous.”
You scoff and roll your eyes. “You are not a subtle person, Sebastian, nor are you particularly good at being punctual, yet somehow you’re never late to the greenhouses.”
“W-well, I’m rubbish at Herbology so I like to make sure I won’t miss anything important,” he lies.
“Maybe you wouldn’t be quite so rubbish if you actually listened to the professor instead of staring at her chest for the entire lesson,” you grumble.
Sebastian goes bright red. Clearly, he had no idea you could see him doing that.
“Look,” he whines. “It doesn’t mean anything, I just think she’s nice to look at is all.”
“And I’m not allowed to think Professor Sharp is handsome?” you counter.
“It’s different,” he insists. “You actually like him, it’s not just an attraction.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” you hiss.
“It means he’s a powerful wizard, a brilliant duellist and he’s a former Auror for Merlin’s sake,” Sebastian angrily confesses. “I couldn’t possibly measure up to that.”
You feel your heart break a little when you realize what this is truly all about – your love’s relentless insecurities, the same ones he’s battled for many years now.
Softly, you ask Sebastian, “Do you actually feel threatened that I might leave you for a professor? We’re seventeen, Seb.”
“It’s preposterous, I know,” he sighs. “But I just… I feel like I could never compete with him.”
“Sebastian,” you croon as you take your hand in his lap. “I want you to listen to me very clearly, alright?”
You wait patiently for him to meet your gaze before you continue.
“As you said, Professor Sharp is impatient,” you agree. “He’s also meticulous, and maybe he does have some darkness in his past. But you also said that he’s a brilliant duelist and a powerful wizard. Do you know who else has all those traits?”
Sebastian swallows nervously and squeezes your hand a little tighter.
“You do, love,” you say softly. “So perhaps the reason I’m fond of him is that he reminds me of you.”
“I’m not an Auror,” he points out a little sullenly. “And I’ve never saved your life.”
“Not yet you aren’t, but we both know that’s why you’re studying for Ancient Runes so much lately,” you say with a fond smirk. “And since I’ve saved your life plenty of times, I’m sure you’ll return the favor someday.”
Wordlessly, Sebastian tugs you against his chest and presses a soft kiss to the top of your head.
“I love you so much,” he murmurs into your hair. “I’m sorry for being such a prat.”
“Apology accepted,” you whisper into his chest. “And I love you too, you fool.”
He holds you close for a while after that, nose buried in your hair while you listen to his slow, even heartbeat through his uniform shirt. When he finally lets you sit up so that he can kiss you properly – not one of those chaste ones from the library – you find yourself halfway in his lap before you even realize you’ve shifted.
For Merlin’s sake, your notes are in a messy pile on the floor now.
You huff and try to climb off of him to gather them up, but Sebastian coaxes you back to him with a single finger on your chin, his eyes firmly fixed on your lips. By the time he’s kissed your frustration away, you can’t even remember what you were supposed to be studying for.
“We should bicker more often,” Sebastian says with a satisfied grin, his lips slightly swollen.
“On that subject, I was just wondering…” you ask him with a teasing smile. “Is there anything Professor Garlick has that I don’t? Should I be worried?”
“Absolutely not,” he murmurs as he flicks open the top button of your shirt. “Truthfully, you both have two very nice things in common.”
“You’re foul,” you tell him simply.
“I meant that you’re both kind-hearted and beautiful,” he says smoothly.
You’re positive that you know exactly what Sebastian meant and appreciate the compliment nonetheless. In fact, he’s being so sweet that you even let him undo a few more buttons while you can take advantage of your seclusion.
The next day during your Potions exam, while your female classmates are undoubtedly slipping in and out of pleasant daydreams about your alluring professor, all you can think about is Sebastian’s lips on your neck and his hand inside your shirt as he’d whispered all sorts of electrifying promises about what he’ll do to you after you turn in your parchment.
It’s a fierce struggle to focus on Dittany of all things with that in the back of your mind, but Professor Sharp is nevertheless pleased when you end up being the first to submit your completed exam and then promptly excuse yourself from the dungeons.

The Healer pt 3
The story continues! Hope you guys like it!
Part 1 and 2 linked here.
Enjoy!
_____________________________
The Hero’s party stood with their backs to us, arguing loudly. They obviously didn’t hear Stephanie’s call, and kept their focus on the man in front of them.
“How dare you go back on our deal?!” Jack the Hero snapped, his face twisted with rage. “You have always been our chief supplier!”
Rita the Holy Archer spoke up, flipping her long blond hair over her shoulder as she did so. “Yeah, you never turned us down before!”
The massive and imposing form of Garrett the Giant loomed over the group as he stood by with his arms crossed, nodding in agreement. The fourth and final member, Rebecca the Sorceress, leaned against the Hero, her eyes filled with tears as if everyone in the room had personally wronged her.
Seeing the group together again was… rough, to say the least. I had once considered three of them, Jack, Rita and Garrett,  my closest friends. We had played the game together before the Downfall, spending late nights going on raids and completing quests. They had been the brightest part of a life that had been greatly overshadowed by my parents’ expectations and disapproval. I had valued their friendship, so much so that I was willing to break myself over and over again just to stay by their side. I had lied to myself, that I was just as much a part of the team as they were. That I was valued, even if they didn’t always say so. That I was lucky to have them, given that I had chosen the class I did. I hated myself for my weakness, but refused to leave, too dependent on them to try to break off on my own.
Until Jack finally betrayed me enough to wake me up to the truth:
They had never been my friends.
As for Rebecca… my gaze settled on the pitifully crying girl. She was crying when I met her, too.
______________________
“Healer! Help! I have an injured person here!” At Jack’s frantic cry, I forced myself awake and ran out of my house, surprised to see him carrying a young, beautiful woman. Her face was unnaturally pale, her red hair matted with blood, stuck to her forehead. Her clothing was scorched in several areas, making her seem even more pitiful. I paused for a moment, feeling a brief discomfort at the sight of Jack holding her with a tenderness in his eyes I had never seen before.
We were not a couple. He had hinted his interest several times, but we had agreed to wait until the world was more stable before discussing it deeply. I wasn’t sure of my own feelings, having always considered him a good friend, but I knew that in the midst of a life or death battle was probably not the best time to give a real answer. Jack hadn’t been happy with my response, but said he understood. He hadn’t brought it up again, but the sight of his distress for the woman in his arms made me wonder if I had his answer.
Either way, it was no time to work out my feelings on the matter. I pushed away the flash of unease at the two’s closeness and stepped forward to look at the young woman. She flinched away from my gaze, her teary eyes looking up at Jack.
“Don’t bother your friend! I just need a potion and I’ll be fine.”
Jack smiled at her. “Nonsense, you fainted just a minute ago. The Healer may be useless in a fight, but she can do targeted therapy for whatever injuries you have.”
I winced at the word “useless”, a term I was all too used to from my childhood.
“Wait!” Rather than being comforted, this seemed to distress the young man more. She struggled slightly, seeming unable to free herself from Jack’s hold. “I don’t…”
I lost patience, and reached out my hand, putting it on her forehead.
“Scan.”
**The Healer has activated Scan -20MP. Target is not in your party and some information is withheld.

Mild poison toxicity – side effects include pallor, diaphoresis and generalized weakness. – 10 minutes remaining. **
I frowned as I read through the information. Jack quickly began asking questions.
“How bad is it, Healer? Will she be all right? You can fix it, right?”
“Some scrapes and mild burns, no worse than a sunburn, just needs her wounds dressed and some ointment for pain and to prevent infection. How did she get poisoned?”
“Poisoned?” He brought her into my house and set her down on my bed. “She wasn’t poisoned, she was protecting a family from bandits.”
I shrugged, getting out supplies and carefully cleaning and dressing her injuries. “The scan says she was poisoned, probably about an hour ago judging by the remaining cooldown. Nothing bad, just something that would make her pale, sweaty and weak.”
Rebecca began crying loudly as I finished bandaging her. Before I could react, Jack pushed me out of the way, leaning over to check on her. I slammed by back into the dresser, groaning with pain as it struck.
“Did she hurt you?!” He asked Rebecca, frowning as he looked over her bandages.
She blinked back tears, regaining control of herself. “I’m sorry, I was just so worried… The way she said it… it sounds like she’s accusing me of taking poison on purpose!”
I gingerly stood up, rubbing my back where it hit the dresser. “I didn’t mean to imply…”
“Shut up, Healer!” He laid a hand on Rebecca’s head. “Just ignore her. She’s just a burden our team carries around because we happened to know her before the Downfall.”
I closed my eyes at his words, trying to ignore both the physical and emotional pain.
______________________
“Why can’t you help us?!” Rebecca was sobbing, blinking her tear-filled eyes and staring at the man in front of their group. “Don’t you know we’re humanity’s only hope?”
“They’re our only hope?”Alton leaned in, whispering “We’re so doomed.”
Stephanie and I chuckled quietly in response.
The owner of the shop, Winter, stood silently in front of the Hero’s party. He was tall, although still shorter than Garrett the Giant. Somehow his demeanor made him seem to tower over the entire group. His white hair was cropped short, at odds with his younger appearing face, placing him in his late twenties. His eyes were a bright pale blue, his handsome feature marred only by a large scar tracing across his face, only barely missing his right eye. His face was expressionless, almost bored, unchanged by Rebecca’s tears.
“You seem to be having a bit of a misunderstanding.” Winter finally spoke up, his voice quiet and cold. “I never had a deal with YOU.”
“LIAR!” Jack screamed. “You’ve always…”
“I’ve had a deal with your healer.” He raised an eyebrow. “And she’s not with you anymore. So I have no reason to deal with you.”
“The Healer?” Rita laughed, her sharp features and gaze filled with a mocking light. “That useless baggage? Why would you care if she’s with us or not?”
“…” Winter stared at her silently, and seemingly pressured, Rita stepped back, hiding behind Garrett. “Foolish.”
“We’re foolish?” Jack asked, shaken but still angry. “You’re the one who is turning down the opportunity of a lifetime. Just because of some bit…”
SMACK!
Winter backhanded the Hero, sending him down to the floor with a calm expression.
“Close your foul mouth, or I’ll close it for you.”  He raised an eyebrow. “Any questions?”
Stephanie raised her hand. “Where do I sign up to be part of his fan club?” Alton raised his hand as well, nodding.
I couldn’t help but laugh. “You never change., Winter”
At my words, Winter turned towards me, his cold blank expression melting into a bright smile.
“Natalie! You’re here!”
“…”
“…”
“…”
Everyone in the room turned to stare at me. I shrunk back slightly. Alton spoke up first, frowning. “Natalie?”
I sighed. “My real name, or more accurately, my name before the Downfall. I don’t like using it anymore.” I don’t like the person who wore that name, nor the people who bestowed it upon me. “Healer is a much more accurate title.”
Alton smiled and shrugged. “Whatever makes you happy, Miss Healer.”
Winter’s smile faded a bit, and he walked forward, stepping on the Hero as he did so, ignoring his grunt of pain.
“Are you okay? I just heard about the price on your head. Did they hurt you?”
I shook my head. “I’m fine. You know that they couldn’t hurt me if they tried.”
“Anyone can get hurt if they get caught off guard, Nat.” He put a hand on my shoulder, staring into my eyes. “You should have left a long time ago. They didn’t deserve your loyalty.”
“Well, she’s got a new team now!” Alton stepped in excitedly.
“Yeah! We’re much better than those creeps!” Stephanie joined in. The two gave each other and me a thumbs up.
Winter stared at them for a while, before sighing. “I told you that you didn’t have to fight with anyone. Yet you still race towards danger at the side of these… people. What has humanity ever done for you?”
I ran a hand through my hair, letting out a soft sigh. “Not everyone is as terrible as you think.”
“That’s rich, considering what state you were in when we first met.” The disappointment in his eyes was clear. I flinched, trying not to think of the circumstances of our first meeting.
“That’s not…”
“STOP IGNORING ME!” Rebecca cried out, fire blazing at her fingertips as she glared at all of us. As we quieted down, she focused her gaze on Winter. “Why are you so obsessed with her? She’s a useless healer! We are the HERO’S PARTY!”
Winter stepped closer, and she shrank into Jack’s side, trying to get away, but froze when Winter’s gaze met hers. “You know nothing, poison witch. A Healer is a noble profession, only meant for the strongest of heart and mind. “
“Y-you…”
“Now get out of my store.” He pointed at the exit, and after a moment of silence, the hero’s party shuffled out. Jack paused at the doorway, looking at me with a serious expression. “My offer is still open. We will attack the forty second gate in 3 days. With or without you.”
And with that, he was gone, and all was quiet.
“What idiots.” Alton sat down on a nearby chair, frustrated. “They’re going to put all of humanity at risk.”
“No more than they deserve.” At Winter’s harsh tone, everyone turned to him again.
“You don’t like humans?” Alton asked.
“Any reason why I should?”
He pointed at me. “Miss Healer is a human.”
“The exception, not the rule.”
I shook my head at his solemn reply. “We came here for supplies. Can you help us?”
“Of course.” He agreed immediately, pulling out a large bag from behind the counter and handing it straight to me. “On the house.”
“You know I’ll never agree to that.” I dropped some custom potions and gold on the table. “You have to stay in business.”
Winter shook his head, but I insisted. “Take it or I go somewhere else for supplies.”
“…Fine.” After a long hesitation, he finally reached out and took the items, carefully arranging them on the shelf on the back wall.
“…” Stephanie and Alton stared silently at the exchange between us.
“I smell drama!” Stephanie whispered loudly.
Alton nodded silently, frowning.
“Speaking of which, PREPARE TO BE AMAZED!” Stephanie stepped forward, dropping the pelts onto the counter. “BEHOLD! I HAVE COMPLETED MY QUEST!”
Winter looked over the wolf furs, nodding silently. “This is what I asked for.” His tone was unimpressed. Stephanie grinned, not intimidated.
“So you’ll pay me this time?”
“This time?” I turned to her. “How many times has he scammed you with fake quests?”
“They aren’t fake!” She defended, clutching the bag of gold he handed her. “He just has high standards.”
“Did you count your payment?”
“… I was about to.” She opened the sac of gold and muttered to herself, before staring accusingly at Winter. “It’s only half!”
“Because you didn’t get the pelts.” He inclined his head towards me. “I know Nat’s work when I see it.”
“I helped, though! I lured them all the way to her!”
“And I bet she asked for half.”
“How did you know?!” She paused. “I was going to give it to her.”
I sighed. “Just pay her the whole amount. Your deal was for the pelts, it doesn’t matter how she got them. If I want the cash, I’ll get it from her.”
“…”
“Besides, she’s my teammate…”
Stephanie jumped in. “AND BEST FRIEND!”
“…In a way it’s paying me.”
“…” He sat a second bag of gold down, which Stephanie snatched up and counted with glee. Winter ignored her, looking at me.
“You’re really doing this again? Trusting humans?”
I shook my head. “I don’t trust anyone.”
“You trust too much… you just pretend like you don’t to comfort yourself.” He thought things over. “Where are you going next?”
Alton joined in. “We’re going to go hunting in the fortieth level forest. Try to get a feel for our fighting style.”
“What about your fourth party member? Your team is incomplete.”
“Maybe we’re just picky?” Alton offered.
Winter stared at us. Stephanie broke first. “Everyone’s too scared to work with Alton, and they think Healer is a burden.”
“…”
“We don’t though! We think she’s awesome.”
Winter finally smiled at that. “Alright then.” He began packing a bag. “I’ll join your team.”
“AWESOME!”
“Is that even possible?”
“You’ll what?!”
Stephanie, Alton and I spoke up at the same time. Winter continued to pack, undisturbed by our shouts.
“You need a fourth teammate, and Nat needs someone to watch her back. It’s a win-win. ”
Alton stared at him. “Why do you think she needs your help?”
Winter didn’t flinch. “She needs it. Needed it since the beginning.”
After studying him a long moment, the dark wizard turned towards me. “It’s your call. I trust your judgement with this.”
I rubbed my forehead, feeling tired. “Why don’t we do a trial before making anything official? Go fight together. See how it goes from there.”
“… You don’t trust me?” Winter asked quietly.
“You’d have to be their teammates as well, fighting to protect humanity. I don’t see why you are volunteering. You’ve never cared before.” Was my equally quiet answer.
After a long moment of consideration, he nodded in agreement. “…Fine. A test mission first.”
“Wait!” Stephanie chimed in. “Can NPCs even join human parties? Aren’t they the ones who give quests?”
Winter placed his packed bag on his back, grabbing a bow and some arrows. “My kind are not a part of the Rules. We follow them, just like you do.”
“So you’re like us?” Alton asked, curious.
“No.” His tone was flat. “I am nothing like you humans. But I can join your party.”
“Great! Let’s go on an adventure!” Stephanie ran towards the door, and shaking my head, I followed her.
“Should be interesting.”
____________________________
The fortieth-floor forest was filled with death. Black twisted trees, grey, dried out grass. Shadows from nothing, movements that didn’t make sense. I stood in place, feeling the constant overwhelming sensation of being watched.
Alton smiled, seeming right at home. “Alright guys, this place is chocked full of undead, perfect for a good fight. We just need to get a sense for how everyone else works, and how to help each other.”
“Sounds good!” Stephanie pulled out her enormous sword and grinned. “I’ll tank!”
“Great. I’ll provide crowd control and protection through magic.” He turned towards Winter, who seemed relaxed despite the evil forest around him. “What about you?”
Winter held up his bow. “I’ll pick off monsters from the back.”
“Great. That just leaves Miss Healer…” He turned towards me. “How would you like to fight?”
His question caught me by surprise. When I fought with the Hero’s party, I had often supported them secretly, standing afar, silently using my healing magic to add further injuries to my teammate’s attacks. It was difficult, making myself appear useless while protecting and attacking at the same time.
But now… I was able to openly and honestly take part with the team.
I smiled. “I want to be in the front.”
Stephanie cheered. “Besties tanks!”
“Sounds like we have a plan.” Alton grinned, looking every inch the evil wizard. “Let’s go.”
It didn’t take long before we ran into a large group of undead. Zombies, skeletons, shadowy creatures with claws and spikes, crawled out between the trees, their eyes glowing red with hunger.
“Kill!” A gravelly voice came out of the large skeleton, staring at me. I walked forward calmly, no weapons in my hands.
Undead didn’t have blood. Didn’t have beating hearts. They needed no oxygen, absorbing their energy from the living. Which limited my options. I would have to go for attacks that caused physical damage.
Stephanie ran forward with a loud cry, swinging her large sword and decapitating the first zombie in her field of vision. Alton chanted, his spells separating the zombies out in smaller groups, hindering their movement and slowing their attacks. I could hear the buzzing of arrows as Winter calmly shot down enemy after enemy.
It was my turn.
I held a scalpel in my hand, the cool metal somewhat comforting against my skin. A group of ten zombies shuffled towards me, trying to shake off the bonds of Alton’s magic.
Wordless incantation was still in cooldown. I would have to speak out loud to activate my spells. I stepped closer to the group
“Amputation.”
**The Healer has cast Amputation x 10. – 1000 MP. **
My magic reached out to each of the zombies, chopping off each of their right legs at the mid-thigh, slicing cleanly through rotting muscle and bone. The zombies groaned in confusion, falling to the ground. I watched them carefully, recognizing they were still dangerous despite their helpless appearance.
This is when Jack or the others would rush in to claim the kill… and then complain about the automatic XP share since my magic contributed to the fight. But now that I don’t have them… what now?
Amputation was a spell that could only be applied to limbs. Small and large incision could cut their throats, but not enough to decapitate them which was what was needed.
A brief feeling of hopelessness rose up within me. The despair that had filled my days as I fought in this strange world beside others who had ridiculed me and belittled me. I chose a worthless class, one that struggles to put down wounded zombies…
One of the zombies flipped onto its stomach, beginning to pull itself towards me, teeth bared. Simultaneously, a spell and an arrow hit its remaining leg, pinning it into place. Stephanie was still fighting her group of zombies, but seeing me hesitate shouted out: “Go get ‘em!”
They’re encouraging me. The stark contrast of this fight from my past team made me smile. I wanted to live up to the support of this strange new team. I thought of a plan, and I reached out my hand, focusing.
“Craniotomy.”
**The Healer has cast Craniotomy x 10. – 5,000 MP.**
The skulls cracked open, revealing rotting brains. I kept an eye on my numbers, even with my unusually large mana pool, I couldn’t keep spending so recklessly. I chose a smaller spell.
“Cauterization.”
**The Healer has cast Cauterization x 10. – 100MP.**
The tissue shriveled under the heat of the spell and the zombies grew completely still. As I stared down at the carnage, Stephanie killed her last zombie, prompting the end of the battle.
** Stephanie the Lovely Barbarian is credited with 8 zombie monster kills, awarded 600XP and +8 fame. Alton the Great Evil Wizard is credited for the assist and is awarded 200XP and +2 fame. You receive 8XP as a party member.
The Healer is credited with 10 zombie monster kills, awarded 800XP and +10 fame. Alton the Great Evil Wizard, and Winter the Shopkeeper are credited for the assist and awarded 100 XP and +1 fame each. **
“AWESOME!” Stephanie ran over and hugged me, ignoring my grimace as I realized how badly she smelled after close combat with rotting corpses. “We’re the best team ever! Did you see how fast we took out high level zombies?”
“Strong work everyone!” Alton seemed pleased, “A few more fights, and I think we could get a good rhythm going.”
“Here.” Winter held out a mana recovery potion to me. “Those were high level healer spells you cast today. You probably need this.”
After a brief hesitation I took it. “You recognize Healer spells?”
“Of course.” He spoke sincerely, adding. “It’s the greatest achievement one can have, to take such a path. I’m happy to help you.”
“…Thanks.” I drank the potion.
The Healer has used Potion of Mana Recovery, +800MP. 2 remaining in Inventory.
Stephanie stood in front of me, clasping her hands together with a pleading expression. “So… can we keep him? You said we could consider it after a trial!”
Alton and I exchanged glances. I still felt uneasy about having an “NPC” on our team. For all the time I had known Winter, I still did not understand his true motivations. Why was he in this world with us? Why join our team? And the real question that haunted me:
Why did he help me a year ago when he had no incentive to do so?
But the truth was, he was our best option.
I nodded to Alton, who immediately offered his hand to Winter.
“Welcome to the team.”
**Winter the Shopkeeper has accepted your invitation to join your party! He will have access to shared inventory, and his stats will become visible upon medical scan.**
The usual joining party message popped up, along with something unexpected:
** NOTICE - Due to status of new party member, special restrictions will apply to any stat or data sharing.**
Special restrictions? I shook my head. Not helping with my paranoia about trusting him on our team.
Stephanie cheered as I shook his hand after Alton. Finally, once things had calmed down, we all sat down to regroup.
“What next?” Stephanie asked, grabbing jerky from her pack.
I thought over her question. “The Hero’s party is going to attack the gate in 3 days. We should plan to be there.”
“Oh joy, them again.” Stephanie bit angrily into the jerky, as if hurting the people who annoyed her. "I can hardly contain my excitement."
“Fighting monsters, AND making sure the Hero’s party won’t stab us in the back at the same time?” Alton grinned. “Sounds like a party to me!"
I sighed, and grabbed my own food from my bag.
We had 3 days to get ready.

“SPACE BETWEEN US” RAIDEN X FEM!GOTHREADER
Tumblr media
SUMMARY : You and Raiden are in a mission in Outworld to locate Shang Tsung but things get heated
WARNINGS : None but descriptive making out
Tumblr media
You and Raiden were Earthrealm’s best champions which meant that you two were always sent out on the important missions.
Even though you and Raiden had completely different personalities, you got a long decently well.
Raiden actually admired you and always gave you the “googly” eyes when you weren’t looking. Kung Lao was very confused on Raiden’s attraction towards you because you didn’t seem to be his type at all.
You were very harsh, blunt. A cold demeanor surrounded you. You hated people and social interaction to the tea. Not to mention you always dressed in all black clothing and very dark makeup.
Raiden admired all those qualities about you for some reason but he knew that he wasn’t anywhere close to your type so he ignored his heart.
The two of you were at the celebration that Outworld was having. The two of you walked close to each other. You guys haven’t said a word.
“Ugh. Why does Lord Liu Kang always send us on the crappy missions?” You asked, kicking the dust off your boots.
Raiden tried to look at it in the positive light. “It means he trusts us to do these missions. I feel honored.”
“Of course you do, chosen one.” You replied sarcastically. “How the hell do you escape an Outworld prison anyway? They’re worse than our prison systems.”
“Might I also add that this particular prisoner is a sorcerer?” Raiden told you.
You scoffed. “I can do magic. Watch.” You waved your hand sarcastically in the air. “Abra Kadabra. Hocus Pocus. Find me Shang Tsung, focus.”
Raiden shook his head, used to your sarcasm. That’s when he actually spotted him going down an alleyway. He stopped in his tracks and tapped your shoulder slightly before pointing in the direction. “There he is.”
You looked at your hands curiously. “Whoa.”
Raiden gently took your hand and dragged you into the direction. “Come on.”
The two of you carefully followed Shang Tsung. When you saw Shang Tsung was talking to somebody, the two of you stopped in your tracks.
You couldn’t hear their conversation but the man handed Shang Tsung what looked like to be a potion. Shang Tsung shook hands with him before walking away.
“Why does he always walk like he’s on a fashion runway?” You whispered.
The man spotted the two of you. “Oh no…” Raiden mumbled. The man started to come your guy’s way.
You took Raiden behind the brick wall and looked at him. “Just go with it. Okay?”
Raiden raised a brow, confused. “Go with what?”
That’s when you placed your hands on the back of his neck and kissed him.
Raiden stood there, shocked briefly. He then closed his eyes and kissed you back.
Despite your appearance, your lips tasted like rose petals and fresh cut fruit. It made Raiden savor the taste.
Raiden placed his right hand on your waist and his left hand on your cheek. He didn’t realize how into the kiss he was getting. He carefully pressed you up against the wall and continued to kiss you.
You were surprised at how good a kisser Raiden was. He kissed you like he had been waiting to his whole life.
The man finally reached you guys and when he had seen you, he figured you guys to be some drunk party goers. He shrugged and walked back into the alleyway.
The two of you didn’t stop. You two continued to kiss even with the man gone.
You lifted your right leg up and Raiden helped you lift it up. He wrapped it around his waist and continued to kiss you deeper.
If you two weren’t in public, the two of you would’ve probably already done it by now.
Raiden had internally said fuck it and picked you up by your ass and made both legs wrap around his waist.
He nippled on your lip lightly and you moaned into the kiss.
Your back was pressed into the brick wall. You surprisingly didn’t even need air by the amount of you two kissing. Nothing could stop you two. Nothing.
Except maybe Syzoth.
“Raiden? (Y/N)?”
The two of you pulled away and looked to see your good friend smiling in shock at you two. “Syzoth.” Raiden said.
Raiden still hadn’t put you down. You slapped his shoulder. “Put me down, jackass.”
“Right. Sorry.” Raiden gently made you stand on your feet. The two of you dusted yourselves off completely embarrassed. Raiden cleared his throat before looking at Syzoth. “What are you doing here?”
“You know I help the Empress.” He stated. He didn’t break his smile. “I should be asking you two why you’re here. You’re Earthrealmers.”
You nodded, also clearing your throat. “Yeah. We’re on a mission.”
Syzoth gave you a look. “Is the mission to beat Outworld’s record of sucking face the longest?”
You rolled your eyes at this while Raiden let out an embarrassed chuckle. “Look, we’re looking for Shang Tsung. We know he escaped.”
“Ah. Empress Mileena was trying to hide that from Lord Liu Kang.”
It was your turn to give him a look. “He’s the god of fire. That man knows when I don’t do the amount of push ups I’m suppose to do. Of course he knows.”
“Right. Follow me to Empress Mileena and we can come up with a plan.” Syzoth started to walk but he stops to look back to the two of you. “Try not to make out on the way.”
You gave him the middle finger and walked ahead of him. Raiden smiled, embarrassed at it but followed you up.
Guess you two were gonna pretend that didn’t happen.

Hello, I was wondering if you could have any friends to lovers drarry fic rec for me? I enjoy slow burn with a kind and soft Draco (where he isn’t a bully) or one where draco stood for the light side of the war (so preferably during the war). I just want want to see Draco have a strong friendship with the golden trio, really! (I don't mind if the romance is a subplot. I just want a focus on Draco)
(I quite literally watched Harry Potter with my sister thinking Draco was going to have a hell of a redemption arc and was sorely disappointed... So here I am seeking for comfort fics)
Anyways thanks in advance!
Hi anon! I feel you, Draco’s redemption arc was poorly done and so frustrating :( I hope you’ll enjoy these as they combine slow burn, friends to lovers and redeemed Draco. Some are told from Harry’s pov and while Draco’s not always soft I think his characterization will be right up your alley. You might also enjoy GallaPlacidia’s Draco, her fics were taken down but you can find them here. Finally, I have also added my personal favorites redemption arc as a separate category, highly recommend them. Enjoy!
Friends to lovers slow burn:
Vortex by @xanthippe74 (T, 20k)
The idea of perfectly-matched soulmates feels more like a curse than a blessing to Draco. Who would want a soulmate who was a schoolyard bully, a Death Eater, and a convicted felon? Certainly not Harry Potter. And Draco is determined to take this secret to the grave.
Nice Things by aideomai (M, 22k)
The first thing that happened was Theodore Nott came back from France.
With Great Yawns and Stretchings by sugar_screw (T, 22k)
The coffee is very good. Really. And the cats are so cute. That's why Harry goes so often.
Moldova's Magical Tea by @aibidil (E, 32k)
Neville Longbottom, Luna Lovegood, and—to everyone’s surprise—Draco Malfoy are opening a magical tea shop to revive wizarding tea culture and, hopefully, to bring the community together after the war. Harry, who is unemployed and trying to find his way in post-war society, wants to help his friends with their new business—but that means spending a lot of time around Malfoy.
Open For Repairs by @drarrytrash (M, 35k)
After the war, Draco works at a tv repair shop and Harry breaks things.
Follow the Water by @xanthippe74 (T, 38k)
Harry Potter’s life is fine. Maybe a little dull and predictable, but he shouldn’t complain about that, right? When he unexpectedly finds himself at Luna’s house one afternoon, Harry gets invited to join the secret wonderland that she’s creating with a surprising group of friends. Maybe a summer outdoors is just what a former hero needs to bring some zest back into his life.
Modern Love by @tackytigerfic (E, 61k)
Harry Potter, of all people, knows that life isn’t always fair. And no one gets to be happy all of the time. But surely there’s something more—something better—than a rubbish Ministry job, and a lonely old house, and that feeling that everyone out there is doing a better job of living than Harry is.
Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Love by @aibidil (E, 80k)
In which a group of wizards' rights activists goes on the offensive after a prohibition against love potions, forcing the magical world to confront the horror of magic's role in sexual assault and the murky legal nature of consent. Ron, Hermione, Harry, and Draco are swept together to solve the case, and in the process they're made to confront their own love and lust—with and without potions.
At Your Service by Faith Wood (E, 95k)
Hogwarts students are in danger; Harry is determined to save them all. There's only one thing he knows for certain: Draco Malfoy is somehow involved.
All Life is Yours to Miss by Saras_Girl (M, 114k)
Professor Malfoy's world is contained, controlled, and as solitary as he can make it, but when an act of petty revenge goes horribly awry, he and his trusty six-legged friend are thrown into Hogwarts life at the deep end and must learn to live, love and let go.
My favorites - Redemption arc:
And Save Me From Bloody Men by @blamebrampton (T, 10k)
Draco Malfoy once watched others fighting to stop the world falling apart. This time, he's not just watching.
Slithering by astolat (E, 27k)
Draco found the nest down in the Manor’s cellars, while he was clearing them out.
Heal Thyself by astolat (T, 47k)
"Are you going for the course?" Lovegood asked. "You have the NEWTs.” “What course?” Draco said, then, “No, don’t be ridiculous,” when he realized she meant the notice pinned up on the board he’d been staring at: Applicants To The Introductory Mediwizard Course For The Coming Term Shall Present Themselves In The Chief Mediwizard’s Office By August 24th.
A Young Radical's Guide to Love by @blamebrampton (T, 66k)
Memories of the war are still fresh, which is all the excuse Decent People need to do appalling things. In this quietly waged conflict, Draco Malfoy is happy to be on the right side of things for once, and even happier to find he’s not alone.
A Thousand Beautiful Things by geoviki (M, 104k)
Draco Malfoy struggles with changed fortunes, shifted alliances, an ugly war, and an unusual spell, with the help of a concerned professor, an insightful house-elf, and an unexpected Gryffindor friend.
Changing Tides by carpemermaid (E, 109k)
Draco has spent half of his life spouting the things his father has taught him without much thought about how he feels about what he says. When he unexpectedly comes face to face with the Dark Lord, he grapples with the harsh realities of the world and struggles with his changing views on life.
Far From The Tree by aideomai (E, 112k)
The arrival of Harry Potter’s children—snapped back in time, the children themselves guessed, twenty or so years—was the most interesting thing to happen at Hogwarts for years.
By the Grace by lettered (T, 140k)
Harry is an Auror instructor. Malfoy wants to be an Auror.
Eclipse by Mijan (T, 287k)
Draco swore his revenge on Harry for Lucius's imprisonment, and Harry all but laughed at him. But Draco is planning more than schoolyard pranks this time. The old rivalry turns deadly when Draco abducts Harry for Voldemort. It's the perfect plan, guaranteeing revenge, power, and prestige, all in one blow. But when Draco's world turns upside down, the fight to save himself and Harry begins, and the battle will take them both through hell and back. If they come back.
Twist of Fate by Oakstone730 (T, 302k)
Draco asks Harry to help him beat the Imperius curse during 4th year. The lessons turn into more than either expected. A story of redemption and forgiveness.

I think I’m coming down with a cold again and possibly have a fever but I’m here to scream about the update some more anyway! (and analyze a bit but mostly scream). Dawn part 7 here we go!
(All images belong to @linkeduniverse <3)
Tumblr media
First off I have to say this was my favorite panel I think, it’s so pretty. The faint glow! The colors! The cape over his shoulder! Amazing. This truly was Sky’s update, I loved every bit of focus he got. Jojo fed us well :D
Tumblr media
So it looks like I was wrong about Sky reading everyone’s mail. He just immediately took off after the mailman instead (and spent all morning chasing him ha!),
Side note but I love the npc guy. He’s simple but still Zelda-y. the character design in this comic is just👌
Tumblr media
Looks like the mailman has a list of who he’s supposed to deliver to, or at least that’s my guess. It could be a map maybe, but that probably wouldn’t do much good since he’s time traveling?? How does he do it. Don’t question the magic of the postman I guess.
Tumblr media
*green hill zone music intensifies*
Tumblr media
Shoutout to Sky’s face here, I make the same expression when I’m trying to chase after my nephew and stop him from eating crayons
Tumblr media
This looks like a postcard no joke, I'd frame this and put it on my wall. Plus the way the trees were done in the background is really neat, there’s something just really pleasing about this panel. Also the return of Sky: Just Standing There
Tumblr media
They’re all bein silly <3
...except for Four. Because I think him and Warriors both realize that Sky isn’t just telling them what he was doing all morning— he’s got something important to say, something they all actually need to know.
Tumblr media
(Downfall duo laughing together I love them)
Also I agree with everyone saying Warriors is close to snapping— they’ve all had a pretty stressful 24 hours, but Warriors has been breaking up arguments and repeatedly checking on everyone while they’re struggling, and... I don’t think he’s had a break. Take a nap bud, please?
Tumblr media
SKY TALKING TO FI MY BELOVED he's hoping there’s enough of her aware to help him dowse hhhhh. And then he’s so sad she didn’t seem to hear him waahhh 😭
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It doesn’t look to me like she truly helped much, but maybe Fi gave just enough of a nudge for Sky to find the postman’s footprints? Even in her sleep? She is glowing just a bit there... Interesting to think about.
Tumblr media
It’s confirmed that the postman uses the portals! And that the Shadow is alive and kicking! Uh-oh! (Also does anyone else think this one seems more... firey? Then the last one? Maybe it's just me).
And the chopped-off darknut head is still there too.... and I’ll bet you twenty rupees somebody is going to kick it when the Links go through the portal later. (My guess is Wild but I’d put my money on Legend or Wind too).
I’m also really curious where that portal leads... My guess is either Twilight’s Hyrule or Sky’s, based on what hints we’ve been getting, but I really don’t know. It’ll be fun to see!
Tumblr media
*Wind rapidly thinking of at least three conspiracy theories*: SUS
Also an amazing expression from him I’m laughing so hard, he really said 3:<
Tumblr media
Tag yourself I’m Four
Also Sky just chugging away at the stamina potion, poor guy XD he must be beat from all that running around, I hope he has some more time to sit before the Links get moving.
(And I mentioned this in another post, but Legend looks so alarmed at this information, as does Wild... it’s not going to be pretty when they cross paths with the Shadow again, that’s for sure)
Tumblr media
I love when Time breaks out the dramatic language... makes me remember that this guy is going to be the Hero’s Shade someday (who’s speech is 99% dramatic things).
Now the Links just have to decide what to do next... will they stay another day at the inn for Twilight’s sake, or get moving right away? Is Four going to confront Twilight about the dark magic he uses to turn into Wolfie?
So many questions... but in the meantime I will gladly continue to reread this amazing update, I really loved this one :D

part..1.5? how james got his glasses and pandora’s introduction!
Tumblr media
P: come in reggie! is he…a friend?
R: not a friend. a blind knight that needs help.
Tumblr media
P: oh, poor creature!
R: i was about to slice his throat.
P: unfair, he couldn’t have seen it coming!
J: rude??
P: hand-blind or foot-blind?
R: foot-blind.
P: how many fingers?
R: mmh…four, i’d say
Tumblr media
P: try giving him these
R: thanks, dora
Tumblr media
J: what are you-
R: you put them on your nose…
J: merlin!
Tumblr media
J: how can i repay you, lady dora?
P: you could stay over for dinner!
J: oh, i wish i could, but i’m not even supposed to be here…
P: just like someone else in this room!
R: dora-
P: you know where to find me, blind knight <3
Tumblr media
J: and thank you for leading me here. i hope our paths cross again
R: i won’t have mercy next time.
J: as long as we meet again
Tumblr media
P: …his eyes are really pretty
R: i don’t see how that’s relevant.
P: and he’s a real gentleman!
R: okay and?
P: …he has my blessing
R: DORA WTF HE’S LITERALLY OUT THERE
J: how pretty!
pandora is what is considered by many a witch: she creates potions and accessories with what everyone considers magic, but is actually science.
the kingdoms’ opinions on these “witches” varies from admiration (gryffindor) to persecution (slytherin, ironic i know), however a kingdom in particular (ravenclaw) has academies where students can learn this “magic” (aka chemistry and physics)
pandora studied in one of these academies, but dropped out and moved to the forbidden forest to focus on her own experiments and be closer to nature’s resources.
if regulus’ parents found out his best friend is a witch, and that he is actively helping her in her studies, it would surely be a disaster (hence the “just like someone else in this room”)
now:
pandora and regulus having the same sense of humour <33
foot-blind means that he he’s short sighted (he can’t see his feet because they’re too far) and hand-blind means that he can’t see things that are close (like his hands), and the number of fingers is how serious the “blindness” is
giving james doe eyes might be one of the best design choices i’ve ever made
don’t think too much abt the fact that the first thing james saw clearly was regulus x
i lied in my last post, the wolfstar part will be in the next one w remus and marlene’s backstory (and lily’s) 🙈

Infection? Nah
Whump Rating: 2.5/5
TW: Infection, injury, not an ambiguous ending
It is just a little cut. Nothing to worry about and certainly nothing to bother Hyrule about. It wasn’t even bleeding! Sky frowns at the small cut, washes it off with water, and goes on with his life. At first, it seems to be healing fine. It doesn’t bleed and, except for accidentally rubbing against it, the cut slips from his mind.
The Chain has bigger things to worry about anyway; mainly the never-ending stream of monsters. By the time they switch eras, everyone is exhausted.
Sky’s arm itches. He rubs at it absently, pausing when the skin feels over-warm. Did he get a burn without realizing it? Well, there was a lot of fire being thrown around in the last fight. He twists his arm to find the burn, only to frown. It is the cut from before, only now it is slightly raised and heated to the touch.
He glances at Hyrule, but the healer is pushed to his limits. Dark bags under his eyes and the tremble of his hands point to an overuse of healing magic. They’ve burned through all the potions and fairies. Wild is out of ingredients needed to make more potions.
Well, he’ll keep an eye on it. If it gets worse, he’ll speak up. No need to worry the group if it gets better.
It does not get better. The heated, raised skin persists and then the skin breaks open, oozing pus. Infection, then, or dirt in the wound. Sky washes it with water, binds it in a clean cloth, and goes to Time.
“Hey, old man. How are you holding up?”
Time is as ragged as Hyrule, trying to keep everyone safe and on track to find another town in the endless wastes they landed in. It takes a long moment for him to look up and even longer for his eyes to focus on Sky. “What do you need?”
Sky rocks back on his heels, debating speaking. The last thing Time needs is someone else to worry about. Still, it's better to say something now before it gets worse. “I got a cut a bit ago and I think it’s gotten infected.”
Some of the life comes back to the old man’s eyes and he leans forward, gesturing. Obligingly, Sky unwraps the bandage and shows the cut.
“What are you doing about it so far?”
“Cleaning it, wrapping it in clean bandages.”
“Right. Make sure you air it out from time to time and keep rotating bandages. We can make a compress to help the inflammation but…” his single eye roves across the group. “We don’t have anything else at the moment.”
“Sure, don’t worry about me.” Sky gives a weak grin and claps Time on the shoulder. He’ll keep an eye on it.
The monsters ambush them in the middle of the night. Four, on watch, shouts a warning in barely enough time for them to wake and grab weapons. It’s a fight in the dark, lit by the odd flare of Legend’s fire rod and the dim glow of the Master Sword.
Sky slashes and kicks, putting all his technique to use to take down the enemies as quickly as possible. They don’t have the energy for a prolonged fight. They don’t have the energy for a fight period, but there’s nothing they can do but make the best of it.
By the time the battle is over, anyone who previously escaped injury can no longer say so. Time turns to Hyrule, face falling. “I know you’re overdrawn but…is there anything you can do?”
Hyrule’s magic is returning far too slowly for the rate he’s using it, but he’s keeping half the group alive at this rate. The healer looks around the group, assesses the further injuries he’ll need to address, and bursts into tears.
Legend bullies his way into the middle of the group, snarling at Time to leave the healer be. Never mind that his arm is either broken or fractured by a spear shaft.
Sky’s arm throbs, but he doesn’t speak up. Infection may be dangerous, but this one is progressing slowly. Some of the others don’t have as long. Pushing the injury from his mind, the chosen hero does what he can to help wash and bind smaller wounds. They’ll just have to make due.
His arm throbs and burns, now, and it’s getting hard to bend it. The infection is spreading, dull lines tracing along the blood veins under his skin. They switch eras and Hyrule mutters something about this being his land. The dead, twisted trees and poisoned water back up the claim.
There will be a town with healing supplies, but it’s going to be a journey to get there. The Chain does worse each day; Warriors in particular struggles with fevers and delirium. Their progress each day is agonizingly slow.
Sky looks at his arm, looks at the group, and keeps his mouth shut. He can go a little longer before causing problems.
A little longer turns out to be a day and a half. Sky wakes, sweating, with shooting pain in his arm. The whole thing is swollen now, oozing puss and heated. His shoulder aches as well, meaning the infection is spreading.
He drags himself over to Time, who’s watching over Warriors. “I hate to add anything else to your plate, but I think the infection in my arm is worse.”
Time meets his gaze and Sky reads the helplessness there.
“Right,” he nods and turns away. “I’ll let you know if it starts affecting things further.” They simply don’t have the supplies to deal with the infection. Time is in triage mode, and other members are worse.
Sky follows the others as they head to the closest town, although he stumbles more and more with each hour. Wild comes up on his side and silently loops an arm around his waist, which he nods a wheezing thanks for. There’s so much pollution in the air here that his lungs, already unhappy, are thrown into disarray.
By the time the town shimmers into view on the horizon, Sky’s fever has taken hold of his body for good. Wild’s arm is the only thing keeping him upright and moving at this point. His head spins and he finally stops, swaying.
Wild gives a questing noise.
Sky blinks back slowly. “Time,” he says slowly. “I think it’s affecting me now.”
Then he passes out.
~ They get to the town and get Sky some healing. Hyrule chews out Sky for not coming to him and then chews out Time for not sharing.

Headmasters Favorite (2)
WARNINGS: age gap, headmaster x student, angst, nsfw themes, maybe spanking or any form of punishment
Tumblr media
Today was going to be the start of having your classes with him. You knew he was talented at both and had his own little area to do work. That was where you were supposed to meet him but not also be late. At the moment you were very much late. You were running through the halls with your books. You planned on just leaving them in the room at this point. It was a nice quiet place to study and no doubt he wanted you to be focusing on it. You knew to knock first. You stopped at the door and knocked.
He used magic to open the door pull you in and shut the door quickly.
"You are late." He said as he looked at you a bit annoyed at this and was at the desk in the middle of the room.
"I- I didn't mean to Headmaster."
"Well, don't be from now on, we have something important to discuss before we go into the lessons." He said sternly and, motioned for you to sit at the other desk facing his. You sat down in the chair.
"What is it, headmaster?" You asked.
"I was thinking... instead of the normal things professors seem to do to help or reward their students, we are going to do something different." He said with a slight smirk at the end. It sent you shivers down your back. "You are of age. Hence, this is fine, just don't tell anyone what happens. Are we clear?" He asked you, looking at you, waiting for an answer. You nodded. "Verbal." He said.
"Yes, headmaster." You were curious as to what he meant. He slowly got up from the chair and went over to your desk, walked behind your chair, and stood behind you. He leaned over to your ear.
"In here, you address me as sir. How to do one day or on a test or quiz will determine if you get a reward or punishment along with extra time here. Understood Y/N?" He said lowly and moved his hands to grip your chair arms. The way he sounded was husky and, had no room to mess around. You bit your lip.
"Yes, sir." You spoke, flustered by the scene happening right now. You were not complaining either.
"Good girl, now turn to page 396." He said, referring to the defense textbook. He went about talking and going over everything with extra pieces within it. You were interested. The way he spoke was as if, he was more passionate about it than potions. You took the notes as he went about teaching. By the time the first three-quarters of the class, he was done talking and having you do a writing assignment, summarizing what he spoke about and what you remembered. You turned it in once you were done. He looked over it with nothing for a hint of how he felt about your work. He just gave it back.
"Sir, how did I do?" You asked him, worried that you disappointed him. He looked at you smirking.
"Good enough to get a reward, you need to stay after your potions class, which is at the end of the day. We need to work on your skills summarizing and what to focus on."
You went through the rest of the day and did pretty well in potions. He had you make a potion while he watched. He did not want his room to be messed up by a silly failure. You were waiting for what he was going to do. He was having you stand in the middle of the room.
"sir-"
"Do not speak unless told to." He interrupted quickly with a stern gaze. He went back behind you, pushing you to where you were against your desk, and fell into a bent-over position. "Now, we will be going over everything from the lessons I taught you today. A wrong answer results in one spank. You started out strong with it but you said a single wrong answer, and he swiftly brought his hand down against your butt, gasping you to gasp. "Try again." He said sternly. You finally got it right.
This went on for a few more questions and a few more spanks. By the end of it, you were sore on your bottom, and your face was beet red. "Now go sit on the couch and study. I will tell you when to stop." He grumbled. He went to his desk while you went to the couch and winced as you sat down, but knew it was best to start studying.
Soon Snape told you to stop and had you come over, where he lifted your skirt enough to rub the cream. It felt better.
"Thank you, sir." You whispered.
"you are welcome." He said and got up from his desk, led you to the door, and let you out of the room into the great hall for dinner. You couldn't help to feel something for him. The way he had used his dominance over you. You knew you were in deep problem but couldn't care.

Tales From Under The Wisteria Tree
Chapter 8 - A Girl and her Adventures
Tallulah missed her papa. Papa Phil said that he was only leaving her for a few moons. And he always held up to that.
But he had been gone for longer than just a few moons. Tia Niki was amazing but that didn’t change the fact that she missed her papa.
“Good morning Tallulah!” Tia Niki sang.
“Morning.”
“Why so glum sweetheart? She said, sitting down on Tallulah’s bed. “Is there anything I can do to help?”
“Do you know when my Papa is coming back?”
Niki fell silent. “I wish I did. He’s been gone a while huh? Want me to curse him?” She said the last part with a goofy smile on her face.
“No Tia! We need to be responsible with magic, remember!”
“Oh. Right that. What’s the point in having magic if you can’t have a little fun with it?”
“Papa says magic should be used to help people.”
“Your papa is good. Now c'mon, we can eat breakfast and talk about how we can get your dad back.”
“Ok!” Tallulah hopped out of bed. Tia Niki helped her braid her hair, weaving in amapolas.
“I’m sure I can figure out a spell to find your papa, I just might need some help with the garden while I think about it.” She said as the pair ate breakfast.
“What spell?”
“That’s what I’ve got to think about my flower.”
Tallulah grinned and took off towards the garden once they finished breakfast. Niki sat on the steps to the house flipping through a huge spell book.
Amapolas brightened up the trail of footsteps that Tallulah left behind as she sat down and focused on the premature strawberry.
She tried to follow the steps Tia Niki said earlier, to focus, and imagine what you want it to become. Then share a bit of magic. Just a little so it doesn’t overwhelm the spell.
And a gigantic strawberry grew. Bigger than Tallulah. “Darling!” Tia Niki yelled. “I figured— oh. What happened?”
“Too much magic…” Tallulah said sheepishly.
“That’s ok, we’ll just make some extra strawberry shortcake for the bakery this week.” Tallulah gave her Tia a big hug.
“So what did you figure out?”
“I figured that we could do a little divination on what your papa has been doing. It could help us figure out why he hasn’t come back.”
“What do we need?”
“Let’s go to the firepit, I should have left some of the ingredients out there from last time.” Tallulah led the way. “Pretty soon my whole garden is just going to poppies,” Niki said with a laugh, pointing out the lack of grass and growing red flowers spreading in Tallulah's footsteps. Tallulah beamed at her Tia.
“Ok, your dad has crow feathers right?” Niki said, looking through her jars of ingredients.
“Yep!”
“Found them!” She took out a singular crow feather. “Can I have a lock of hair Tallulah?”
The little girl nodded and her aunt carefully plucked out a single strand of hair. She added it to the pile of wood and lit the fire with a flick of her fingers. Tallulah stood on a little stool to see what Tia Niki wrote down the little figures in the fire that she saw in her little journal.
The smoke smelled nice. That was a good sign right? It smelled like flowers. Like the flowery tree near the river by her Papa’s house in fairyland.
“Wisteria blossom smell…” Tia Niki said, she stuck her tongue out a little bit as she wrote the note down. “Smoke took the shape of a heart, then flowers.”
“What does that mean Tia?”
“Quiet darling, divination requires all of the focus we’ve been training on.”
“Oh.” She whispered before letting her Tia continue.
“Fire turned a bright purple before swirling with greens and pinks. The same shade of pink as a love potion and the same green as an emerald.” Niki said. Tia always found writing easier when she repeated the words out loud.
“The flowers look like the ones at my papa’s house! The ones by the river!”
Niki paused and looked at the small girl. “Wisteria flowers…” she murmured before quickly turning back to her notebook.
Niki quickly put the fire out and crouched down to examine the ashes. “What’s there Tia?”
Niki held up a small piece of braided rope. The ends were singed from the fire. “A small piece of a handfasting braid.”
“What’s that?”
“Let’s go inside first, I need to process this.”
Tia Niki handed Tallulah some of the braided bread that hadn’t sold yet. “Let's sit down in the witching room.”
Tallulah loved the witching room! The plants climbed over all of the walls, and when it was late spring the flowers bloomed creating a rainbow of colors. There was a corner with a big cauldron and a potion-making book. In another corner, there was a small sitting area.
“So what’s my papa doing?” Tallulah said before taking a big bite of the braided bread.
“I think he found someone special.”
“Someone special? What does that mean Tia? Did he find another changeling?”
“No, I think they are human, like me minus the magic.”
“Why would papa think a normal human is special?”
“Have you heard the story of your clan before?”
“The one about the human and the fae she loved. The ones who founded the clan rules? That story?”
“Yeah! A fae from the craft clan fell in love with a human. She loved gardening and the fae decided to court her the human way. She eventually fell in love with him and agreed to marry him if they promised not to kidnap more humans. And your clan hasn’t taken a human since.” Tia Niki took a sip of her honey tea.
“She planted the tree by the river I was talking about! They were her favorite flowers and she wanted them in fairyland. Her and the fae did their handfasting ceremony under the tree and it’s been a tradition for fae and their beloveds to handfast under the tree since then!”
“It has a heart carved into it right?”
“Yep, that's our clan’s crest! A wisteria tree that has a heart carved into it! But what does that story have to do with my papa…?”
“I think your papa is the fae in that story, little one.”
“You think he fell in love with a human?”
Niki laughed. “I do. The fire turned the same color as a love potion.”
“And the wisteria?” Tallulah asked, eager to hear more.
“That’s the tree that grows by the river. The handfasting tree.”
“Papa fell in love!”
“I think so, little one.”
“So why did he leave me then?”
“He probably got distracted, you know how your dad is. He probably saw a pretty human and forgot whatever he was doing.”
“That does sound like my papa.”
“If you help me I can try to pull a vision of the two of them, I’d have to use your bond to your papa though.”
“You mean we can see them? I can see the human?”
“It will be complicated for you darling, are you sure we can’t just wait for your papa to introduce the two of you?”
“I wanna see the human.” Tallulah stood up and made her way to the big cauldron. She climbed on another stool that was left for her and flipped through the potion book.
“Tallulah, honey, it’s not that simple.”
“I wanna see the human Tia!”
“Patience sweetheart, I need to find all the ingredients. Can you read them out for me?” And Tallulah did. Tia Niki ran around dropping in the ingredients before rushing off to grab more.
“Anything else?”
“Just the name and an item of theirs.”
“We’ll use your bond for that.” Niki grabbed a scrap of paper and wrote down ‘Philza of the Craft Clan’. She dropped it into the cauldron and it shimmered green. “Now what I want you to do is think about your papa. Think about a really happy memory and hold it in your chest.”
A happy memory. The happiest memory she had was when Tallulah was officially adopted by Papa Philza. She was three. She had been a part of the craft clan for ages but she never called Phil papa. That was something reserved only for Chayanne. But when she finally worked up the courage to talk to Papa Phil he told her that he always considered her his daughter.
“I’ve got one.”
“You feel it in your heart?”
“Yeah.”
“Imagine that memory is an amapola. Take one of the petals of the amapola and drop it in the cauldron.”
Amapola, petal, cauldron. Got it. Tallulah could do that.
Amapola.
Petal.
Cauldron!
A singular poppy petal appeared on the top of the liquid before settling in and the scene on the surface changed to an unfamiliar area.
It was Papa Phil! And he had his wings wrapped around a tall human.
When papa pulled his wings away Tallulah saw the human in closer detail.
He had black hair like Tallulah and Tia Niki!
Then papa began to speak.
“They need to be cleaned.” Said Vision papa.
Before the human spoke the vision cut out.
“Tia Niki! What happened?”
“You can’t overhear conversations with divination. It’s a rule used by magical folk to protect privacy.”
“That’s a stupid rule.”
“Would you like to have a secret conversation about a gift for your papa and then he uses magic to find out what the gift is?”
“No!”
“That’s what that rule is for.”
“Fine,” Tallulah grunted. “But it’s still uncool.”
Niki giggled. “I know. Rules are never fun.”
“So when can I go meet papa and the human!”
“It’s rude to call him the human Tallulah. That’s like calling me the witch.”
Tallulah thought about that for a second. “What would I call him then, I don’t know his name.”
“Well if he’s your papa’s beloved then technically—“
“He’s my other papa!”
“Well…”
“You’re right, that will get confusing… hmmm… oh I know! Pepito calls his dads ‘apa’. I'll call him my apa until I know his name.”
“Maybe you are rushing into things Tallulah, humans are a bit slower in terms of courting than beings of magic.”
“He’s my apa, papa Phil is in love with him.”
“Sometimes people don’t like each other in the same way.”
“Who wouldn’t love my papa?”
Tia Niki sighed. “Everyone loves your papa, but there are different types of love darling.”
“But they love each other! Papa never lets strangers touch his wings. Especially not humans!”
“All I’m saying is Tallulah is that we shouldn’t jump to conclusions.”
“I’m not jumping to conclusions. I’m just saying that my papa loves my apa and my apa loves my papa!”
Tia Niki sighed again. “It’s getting late Tallulah let’s get to bed ok? I have to open the bakery early tomorrow.”
“I wanna meet my apa!”
“Tallulah.” There was an edge of warning to her voice.
“I could find my papa and they’ll be together!”
“No Tallulah.”
Tallulah looked up at her Tia. She looked mad. “Why not?”
“It’s not safe. I’m not letting you wander the human realm by yourself and I can’t leave my home. It’s not safe for me.”
“I can go to fairyland in an instant but the human realm isn’t safe?”
“Tallulah, I've told you the scary stories about the witches before the war.”
“But the war is over Tia! It’s safe now!”
“Some people still don't accept magic.”
“I won’t use my magic.”
“Flowers bloom in your footsteps.”
“I’ll wear boots!”
“No. You’re not leaving.”
“But Tia—“
“I said no Tallulah. Go to your room.” Tallulah felt herself being dragged upstairs. Magic. Tia Niki used her magic on her. When the door shut it locked. Tallulah hmphed. Maybe she could sneak out a window. Surely she could get a plant to grow enough to guarantee her a safe landing…
But she couldn’t open the window! Tia Niki used her magic to lock that!
She sat on her bed. Everything sucked. Tia Niki was so mean.
But she wasn’t really. Tia Niki was the sweetest.
Tallulah was just mad.
But she was allowed to be mad! Tia Niki was stopping her from meeting her apa!
But she was looking out for Tallulah. Like always.
But she really REALLY wanted to meet her apa.
She wondered what he’d be like.
He was hugging Papa Phil’s wings so he probably would like hugs.
He had bright purple eyes, and that was Tallulah’s favorite color. Her eyes were just a dull green, nothing special like apa’s eyes.
Apa wouldn’t be mean, right?
No. Apa would be the best. Papa is silly but he wouldn’t fall in love with a bad man. She was sure apa would be nice.
And so she started scribbling in her journal all of the fun things they would do together. Like going and growing pretty flowers and making the best tacos because papa sucked at making them.
She fell asleep without putting her hair up for the night. Just asleep on her journal that she left open.
“Tallulah, I’m sorry about last night, darling.” Tia Niki said brushing hair out of Tallulah’s face as she woke up. Tallulah yawned and slowly blinked open her eyes.
“I still want to go meet my apa.” She said quickly, shooting upright.
Niki sighed. “I know. And I thought about it. I can protect you with magic Lullah. But I’m warning you this is very serious. You have to take this seriously.”
“You’re saying yes?”
“With conditions.”
“I accept them. I’m going to see my apa!” Tallulah tried to pull off the covers but Niki quickly stopped her.
“No. Tallulah, this is serious. We’re having a conversation.” Tallulah pouted but she stayed and listened to what her Tia had to say. “First off you are going to use the fae clan soul bond thing and go directly to your papa. I don’t know how that works as well as I know magic but I know you can figure it out.”
“Directly to my papa and my apa. Yes.”
“I am going to put every protection spell imaginable on you.”
“Ok.”
“And you have to promise me to tie your tail around your waist and wear your boots until you meet your papa. You have to look like a normal human, just for safety.”
“I can cover up my tail but what about my wings?” Tallulah spread out her wings and she felt them shake before flapping, they were too weak for her to fly on yet but Papa said when they were strong enough he would teach her how to fly.
“I have a shawl you can wear to cover them, It’s the best I can do.”
“Really? I can go? You promise?”
“Yes sweetheart, I’ve already packed you a big bag full of food and everything you could possibly need.”
“Really?”
“You have spare clothes and everything, all you need is to be ready for today. I can style your hair so it won’t tangle as much.”
“Really?”
“I said yes Tallulah, don’t make me change my mind.”
“You’re the best Tia!” Tallulah jumped into her arms and hugged her tia tight.
“You also have to wear this necklace.” Niki held up a small necklace with a purple crystal. “It will allow me to see you from it, it’s a one-way scrying crystal. Doesn’t break the normal rules because you have to knowingly accept it.”
“I can’t contact you through it?”
“No, it’s too small for two-way conversation but it’s lighter than a large crystal and I can still see you to at least try and warn you somehow.”
“Ok, Tia.”
“Now let’s get you dressed, you want to look pretty to meet your apa right?”
“Yeah!” Tallulah jumped up and took off to her closet.
“Wear human clothes Tallulah, maybe a pretty dress so it’s easier to hide your tail.”
“I know Tia!” Tallulah quickly pulled out a light purple dress. It was flowy and it would be nice to travel in.
“What about this?”
Niki examined the dress. “It looks perfect darling. Let me get you a shawl and I can brush out your hair.”
Tia Niki left the room and Tallulah spun around in a circle.
Tia Niki wasn’t mad! She was letting her go meet her apa! Tallulah was so excited.
“Ok I’ve got a shawl, you’re going to have to cover your wings with this.”
Tallulah frowned but she agreed and pulled the black fabric over her blue-purple wings. “It feels itchy.”
“It’s the tiny hairs on your wings, remember you have to be careful with them. Moth wings are very delicate. I have a pin for you.” Tia Niki clipped the two ends of the shawl together with a pin of the clan crest.
“It’s the wisteria tree!”
“Your papa will know that I sent you if you show him this. Otherwise he’ll know you just ran away and he’ll get mad at both of us.”
“Got it.”
“Now let me brush out your hair sweetheart, the braids are coming undone.” Tallulah climbed into Tia Niki’s lap and let her undo the loose braids.
“Do you want one or two braids?”
“One please!”
“Amapolas braided into it?”
“No, I need to look human.”
“That’s true, good job Tallulah. Even I forgot about that.”
“See I can be responsible!”
“You can.” Tia Niki added a tie to the end and kissed the top of Tallulah’s head. “Let’s get you breakfast and then you can get going.”
She ran down the steps and sat at the table as Tia Niki grabbed her some scrambled eggs with toast.
“My big girl, going on an adventure. You’re going to make me cry.”
“No, don’t cry Tia!” She put a big bite of her breakfast in her mouth.
“I won’t. Until you leave.”
“Aww Tia. I love you.”
“I love you too Lullah.” Tallulah and her Tia ate breakfast in comfortable silence.
“You have the necklace?”
“Right here, Tia.”
“I packed your bag so that should be good. What’s left?” She paused. “Oh right, protection charms, give me a second.” Tia ran off to the witching room.
“This one is for safety, this one is for hiding you from evil, this one is for protecting you from backstabbers. This one is to keep you away from evil. This one is to get you to safety in case there's danger. Oh, and you have to remember to eat fae food if you get in trouble with a human and go straight back home.”
“I know Tia,” Tallulah said as she grabbed the armful of charms and trinkets from her tia.
“Which one is the fae food?” Tia Niki asked, checking to make sure she knew.
“The strawberry shortcake that you made from the big strawberry I grew yesterday.”
“Good girl.” Tia Niki sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. “I think that’s all.”
“I’ll miss you Tia,” Tallulah said, wrapping herself around her Tia.
“I’ll miss you too Darling. Please stay safe. I love you too much to see you hurt.”
“I will Tia. I love you too.” Tallulah made her way out the door with her heavy bag and started on the path.
“Wait Tallulah!” Tia Niki yelled, running to catch up to the small girl. “You forgot your boots. So you don’t grow poppies everywhere you go.”
Tallulah sighed. “Ok Tia.” she slipped on her boots. “I’ve got them now. I’ll be ok! I promise.”
“I love you Tallulah.” Tia Niki looked like she was about to cry.
“I love you too Tia Niki. You’re the bestest Tia. Don’t forget!”
And Tallulah made her way down the windy path of the small cottage Tia Niki lived in.
She reached out for her papa’s soul, its warmth. He was somewhere to the west. So west she would go!
It took a little over a moon to reach her papa. But she only slept a little bit and she managed to keep herself awake. After all she was going to meet her apa!
Slowly she could swear she was hearing voices.
She hid in a bush, what if it was bad humans?
“So you are awake?” That was her papa!
“Yes, idiot.” The voice was unfamiliar. But it held the same warmth of her papa. It must be apa!
“What was that?” Her apa asked.
“Probably a squirrel or something. Maybe Cielo.” Who was Cielo? A new changeling papa adopted?
“No, I'd know if it was Cielo.” Oh, probably not a changeling then.
This was Tallulah’s chance. She’d finally get to meet her apa!
She popped out from the bush. Oops, there were leaves in her hair. She had to make a good impression on her apa! She quickly pulled them out.
That was her papa! And he was holding onto apa! See Tallulah was right, they did love each other like she said!
“Hi Papa Phil! Is he my new Apa?” She blurted out.
Papa Phil started sputtering. Apa looked confused, he kept looking between the two of them.
Oh no. What was wrong? Did apa not know about her? Did she make a mistake?
Papa cleared his throat. “This is my daughter, Tallulah. Who’s supposed to be with her Tia Niki.”
“She said I could come visit! She gave me the pin!” She showed Papa Phil the crest.
He sighed. “We’ll talk about this later when we meet back up with your Tia, until then you can stay here with us.”
“Yay!”  She ran up to him and gave him a big hug. “I missed you papa!”
“I missed you too Lullah.”

Summer of Year Five
┍━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☟━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┑
Dear Sebastian,
I do hope you are faring well. To be quite honest, I was worried about you. I know the situation is not easy right now, but I believe that things will slowly get better.
The professors had me stay in Hogwarts for another week after the term ended. Headmaster Black was dumbfounded that such repository existed just under the school. My, I wished you’ve seen how stressed that made Gladwin Moon. He forgot about the Demiguise monkeys, and now he keen on learning more about the secrets of ancient magic. They decided to keep this a secret from the ministry. I think it’s for the best. I also promised Professor Fig that I would keep it locked inside.
My father asked me to stay in London during the summer holiday – he said not having me around these past months was rather odd. I’d say it was because nobody helped him prepare his supper after work. Sleeping in my own bedroom felt empty after being with friends at Hogwarts. I missed the shenanigans that I witness at school, and I do miss going on adventures with you.
I would love to hear back from you.
All the best,
[Y/N]

Dear [Y/N],
I’m doing better, thank you for checking in on me.
Apparently, the people at Feldcroft told me that Anne decided to stay at St. Mungos. At least I know that she is cared for and safe. I still hope that there is a cure, and I will keep trying no matter what. The house never felt this vacant, even after my parents passed, I still had Anne by my side. Thankfully, one of my neighbours took pity and let me stay with them. If I help them with chores, of course. Better than empty house and cold nights, I suppose.
I can’t lie but I kept having nightmares about the cave. I kept seeing my uncle’s body on the ground again and again. Even worse, I saw the horror on everyone’s face after. I can’t seem to shake it off my head.
Thank you again for writing. I haven’t talked to Ominis again. I might have severed whatever bond we have left.
I wished I could visit London.
Best regards,
S.S

┍━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☟━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┑
Dear Sebastian,
I’m sorry to hear about your nightmares. I too kept replaying my fight with Ranrok in my head, and just how I wasn’t able to save the Professor that I look up to. Before I left, the professors gave me several bottle of Dreamless Sleep potion. I’m sharing a few bottles for you.
You would love London. I will take you to all of the bookstores here. I visited my favourite, just in front of the River Thames. That being said, I picked up a Herbology book for you. I remember you brought Shrivelfig Fruit to Anne that one time, maybe this book would help you learn more about other types of plants out there. I hope the owl delivers the package to you in one piece.
I also just received my O.W.Ls grade, and I scored an E. Not bad for a new student, eh? I had a hard time remembering all the charms, which means I really need to lay off from using my ancient magic. I rely too much on my power.
I sent a letter to Ominis as well. He also wished the sixth year can come sooner. The Gaunts House sounds dreadful. Oh, he visited Anne as well. He said she is doing better. She has you in her thoughts, but I told Ominis that you were taken care of, and she should focus on recovering.
Best,
[Y/N]

┍━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☟━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┑
Dear [Y/N],
You are far too kind. I don’t know how I could repay you. It brings me ease to hear about Anne and Ominis. It does give me a glimmer of hope that I can reconcile with them, in due time. The potion works wonders. I was finally able to have a decent sleep after months.
I have read the book. I can’t believe there are no sentient plants in the muggle world. How do they fight off their foes? I don’t understand. I might try to make some of the remedies written here and give them to Anne when I get to see her.
My O.W.Ls are not as great as I hopped. I passed, but the whole ordeal took the toll on me. Professor Weasley sent me a note that she is ‘disappointed’ because I’m a ‘bright student’. But worry not, I shall do better at my N.E.W.Ts.
By any chance you write to Ominis again, please tell him that I missed having him around. And I wished that we can talk again if he is ready.
Although I have to do this sodding farm work everyday, I was surprised to see the plentiful yield we got this year. I’ve sent you back some Dittany Leaves I personally planted myself – hope it helped you brew more Wiggenweld potions for your adventures.
I’ll see you soon at Hogwarts,
S.S

Summer of Year Six
┍━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☟━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┑
Dear [Y/N],
What a school year it has been! If I may, I shall start this letter by saying thank you for being there for me. I don’t know what I would do without you. I hope your trip with Poppy to her grandmother is going smoothly, please do write back whenever you can.
I wanted to let you know that Anne wished to spend time with me this summer. I am overjoyed, packed my bags in a jiffy and went straight to St. Mungo’s. Anne never looked better, she said that the wizards who work there were able to create a spell that let her supress the pain. It still comes in bouts, but it wasn’t as painful as it was. She decided not to continue her studies in Hogwarts though, so I plan on sneaking more books, perhaps from the restricted section, to her when we are back.
I hope the injury that you sustained after your first Quidditch match is better. That daft Leander, knocking you from your broom just because he couldn’t keep his eyes away from you. I bet you ten galleons he has a crush on you. You should keep an eye out if he gives you anything edible, I’m sure they will be laced with Amortentia.
I look forward to hearing about your adventures.
Warmly,
S.S.
┕━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☝︎━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┙
┍━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☟━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┑
Dear Sebastian,
What a year indeed. My arm is far better right now. And Leander got his punishment already from having his house score deducted. I think the hatred from Gryffindor students are enough. I shall keep note of not taking any edible presents from him.
Poppy and her grandmother are very pleasant hosts. I think I ate my lifetime worth of pumpkin pasties. I wished I can send you some, but the owl will surely eat them before they get to you. They took me to a Hippogriff den that she just discovered near the coast. You should see how adorable Hippogriff babies are, I just wanted to hug them all! Her grandmother graciously taught me how to approach magical beasts better, not just by floating them mid-air and stuff them in my bag. And guess what? I saw a black Hippogriff, just the one you said you’d like to fly on one day. Here’s a feather for proof.
I’m glad to hear that you can spend some time with Anne. Please tell her that I hope she is feeling better, and I do wish I can meet her again.
I am a bit worried about my N.E.W.Ts studies though, kept having dreams about failing it. I didn’t realize just how much I have to catch up again.
Thinking of you,
[Y/N]

Dear [Y/N],
Such majestic feather – if I was there, I swear I will jump on its back and fly around the hills. Maybe I can have you flying next to me? I would love to fly around the highlands with you. I can show you this small forest that my parents used to take me. We would harvest many unique magical plants that you can’t find anywhere else.
If you’d like, I would love to help you study. We always have the Undercroft for ourselves and the Room of Requirements too, if Deek isn’t there to talk about the potions you’ve brewed. Call me your own personal tutor.
The big news that I have, is that Ominis finally went to visit Anne and I. As you knew, Ominis and I were able to chat and even joke around now. I told him that the was he looked gaunt after spending time with his family, and he didn’t appreciate that one bit. Anne seems happy to have him around. Frankly, I find it weird if Ominis has romantic feelings to my sister, but deep down I know he will truly cherish her. For that, I shall not intrude. Now it felt like things were back before the curse, but I wished you are here to join our little trio.
I don’t know if you have visited the hospital, but there are little shops just next to it. I saw this dragonfly brooch and thought of you – apparently the shop keeper said it meant happiness and new beginnings. How fitting. Hope you like it.
Yours,
S.S

Dear Sebastian,
The brooch is beautiful, I immediately pin it on my jacket and wore it to an outing with Poppy and her grandmother. We had delicious dinner and butterbeer. They teased me for smiling whenever I look at it, but I am glad to have a piece of you wherever I go.
I can’t believe you had the gall to make fun of Ominis. Even I found that joke terrible, you egg. I’m happy to see you happy, Sebastian. And I shall take you on that offer to study together, Merlin knows I need it.
I shall travel back to Hogwarts with Poppy just few days before school starts. Looks like they just built a new train station and I’m able to be one of the first passengers – how lucky am I! Before we have to pack up, her grandmother took us to see Thestrals. I am sticking to my opinion that these are beautiful creatures, and misunderstood. I managed to feed and even pet them, they are such gentle creatures.
Everyday I hoped I can share these experiences with you. I cannot wait to see you again very soon.
All yours,
[Y/N]

Summer of Year Seven
┍━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☟━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┑
My Dearest [Y/N],
Words cannot describe how much miss you. I'm writing to you back at my home in Feldcroft. The house is still empty, but I’m holding on to the memories that we made during the years in Hogwarts. I can’t believe it took me all this time to finally confess that I am utterly in love with you.
I know that you will do well in your future endeavours. All of your hard work in classes will be fruitful, especially since you achieved an amazing score at N.E.W.Ts – might I add that I contributed as your personal tutor? The ministry will be lucky to have you as an AUROR. I thought about doing the same, but looks like I can’t shake the thought of embarking the same journey as my parents to become a professor. Who knows, maybe I can actually find a cure for Anne in the future. Just promise me that you will be safe, as I don’t know what I will do if I lose you.
Nobody stood closer to me when I was in distress. Even when Anne and Ominis pushed me away, you believed in me. You made me realize that I can live a better life, and I will continue to do so. For you. With this letter, I vow to be a better man for you, a man that can stand next to you and you can depend on.
I’m glad you came to Hogwarts.
Forever and always,
S.S

"What did you do to me?" you whimper. Standing over you is the seemingly unimposing figure of the witch responsible for your current state. She kneels beside you, stroking your hair with the back of her hand. You shudder at the gentleness of her touch, the faint smell of cloves and her soap wash over you.
Your stomach answers before she can. Another growth spurt brings you closer to the floor. Your gravid belly wobbles below you and soon being on all fours won't be enough to keep it off the ground. She feigns innocence with a sweet, guileless look that sends pangs through your entire body, "think of it as personal growth. Now sit back honey, or you might get stuck there"
Terror breeds obedience and you're incredibly afraid. She helps you into a sitting position just in time for your gut to grow enough to start forcing your legs apart. The soft, warm sloshing motion going on between your legs works it's own kind of magic. The witch takes you in her lap, sinking her hands into the plump flesh she put on you. "You see," she purrs in your ear to the backdrop of the panting moans you struggle to keep down, "some potions just don't turn out right in a cauldron. They need a more lively vessel"
She kept explaining but they only thing you can focus your attention on is the gurgling of your growing belly and the waves of pleasure that crash over you when she touches you just so.
You try to take inventory of your body while you can still think straight enough to do so. You were never particularly fit but even so, the moobs- no, breasts sitting on top of your belly are new. Your arms, your cheeks, even your fingers all feel soft. Plump. Your thighs are getting thicker but that's not stopping your tummy from spilling down between them. Your pants burst long ago and every passing moment you can hear the elastic in your underwear pinging as it snaps strand by strand.
A bigger spurt of growth hits you and this time you can't resist. You moan. You aren't sure if that's when you started grinding into your own gut but the witch is laughing now, every gentle pat she places on your belly ripples down, giving you another hit of ecstasy.
She nips your ear, her off hand playing with a nipple through what's left of your shirt, "You know what tubby? I think you're my new favorite toy"

studying for O.W.Ls with them ♡
headcanons
included: sebastian sallow, ominis gaunt, garreth weasley, poppy sweeting, natsai onai, imelda reyes
Tumblr media
Synopsis | a collection of headcanons for when the hogwarts legacy cast asks to study for the O.W.L. exams with you.
Word Count | 2.3k
Content Warnings | none.
Author’s Note | alternate universe where professor fig lives! totally not because i forgot he died midway through writing ♡ also posting this tired sorry for types in vance!
sebastian sallow
what subject are you studying for? | magical theory.
“[Y/N], you know I’m complete arse at Magical Theory…please, study with me?”
Tumblr media
-though you didn’t sit next to him in professor fig’s class, you could tell just by the desperation in his voice when he asked to study with you that he didn’t pay attention in magical theory. he found you sitting outside your common room late one night and practically begged you to help him study, and how could you say no to that face?
-even with your light wrist taps every time he went off focus, sebastian found it hard to stay on task while studying. the subject just didn’t appeal to him. he got distracted by the smallest things it felt like, such as discovering the contents of the enchanted books flying around the library or subtly shifting the conversation to something that would distract you both. he was good at that.
-after discovering sebastian’s sly tactics to change the subject from studying to literally anything else, you changed your approach. you found a study book that included diagrams and visuals for magical theory, which held his attention a lot more than the blocks of text in the other books. it’s no wonder he does so well in classes with practical applications, he’s a visual learner.
-on the day of the exam, sebastian walked in semi-confident, or at least more confident than he would have been had he not studied at all. professor fig was proud to see sebastian look more confident than he did with ordinary end-of-unit exams, and even more proud to see how well your study session paid off.
-upon seeing his score, sebastian was so grateful that he swore he’d do anything you asked to make up for it– which he quickly realized wasn’t as good a thing as he hoped. he clearly underestimated your mischievous nature.
final score | A, for Acceptable.
༶•┈┈୨♡୧┈┈•༶
ominis gaunt
what subject are you studying for? | potions.
“You need help studying? Do you not pay attention in class? Well, I suppose I’m rubbish potions as well…fine. I will study with you.”
Tumblr media
-ominis is one of the best listeners you know. despite being one of the main mischief makers in slytherin, he always seems to be on top of his grades and never turns in an assignment late. despite this, there are some classes he just cannot grasp, and potions is one of them. he’s studied all he could, even tried brewing what he heard was going to be on the practice part of the O.W.L, but it seems nothing works. maybe studying with you will be different.
-ominis was actually the one keeping you on task. while studying your textbooks, you would find a funny potion or potion name and show him, which would earn you a small chuckle from him but a scolding immediately after. the only thing that seemed to make him lose focus was the idea of brewing amortentia, which you found the recipe for in one of your books. even so, he made you go back on task immediately after.
-when both of you felt confident you could nail the written portion of the exam, the practice came next. you migrated from the library to the undercroft and got to work. you took turns timing and grading each other for how well your potions turned out, and because of the year you had, you were understandably better at brewing than ominis was, but he was learning quick.
-ominis waited for you outside the potions classroom before walking in to take the exam. you took a moment to make sure yesterday’s cramming session was still fresh in your minds and then finally went to take the test. ominis was at a different brewing table than you, so that plan you came up with to give light taps to remind each other what answer you got quickly went down the drain.
-both of you did really well! however, ominis did better on the written portion while you did better on the practical. ominis treated you to butterbeer at the three broomsticks to celebrate.
final score | E, for Exceeds Expectations.
༶•┈┈୨♡୧┈┈•༶
garreth weasley
what subject are you studying for? | divination.
“I told you, I like astronomy, not so much divination! I can barely foretell what the next few hours are going to bring, much less the next month! Please, [Y/N], you have to study with me!”
Tumblr media
-you weren’t surprised when garreth came to ask you for help studying divination. while he was a much better student than everyone made him out to be, especially in transfiguration and astronomy, his grade in divination wouldn’t reflect that in the slightest. he didn’t understand how it worked, thought the whole class was stupid, only took it because his mom made him, etc…so of course you agreed to help.
-initially, you’d gone to the three broomsticks to study since garreth has a weird aversion to the library, but after seeing who could drink the most butterbeer before their stomach started to hurt, it proved incredibly ineffective. you ended up moving to a quieter place on the edge of hogsmede to practice reading tea leaves, which worked a little—but not much—better.
-after a while, you’d finally worked out a system that worked enough for both of you to at least try and retain information. study for the written section for 30 minutes, practical for 30 minutes, chill for 20. between when you started to now, garreth had learned the basics of reading oracle cards and could decipher 8 out of 10 message in tea leaves!
-the divination final did NOT go as well as he’d planned. while you studied everything you needed to for the written portion, which he finished relatively quickly, the practical was something neither of you studied: palm reading. luckily you were partners for this section so you could at least try to bullshit your way through it, but you were caught.
-the written portion went decently and that’s what matters. to celebrate, garreth took you back into hogsmede for a honeydukes / zonko’s shopping spree. when will he ever use palm reading anyway, right?
final score | P, for poor.
༶•┈┈୨♡୧┈┈•༶
poppy sweeting
what subject are you studying for? astronomy.
“Hey, [Y/N]? With O.W.Ls coming up, I’m starting to worry about my Astronomy grade…if you’re up for it, can you accompany me to the Astronomy Tower to study before the exam?”
Tumblr media
-poppy is one of those people where you would have never guessed they’re bad at any subject. it feels like you’ve never seen her anywhere outside the beasts class, and yet she currently had a low A in astronomy— you had to giggle. you couldn’t judge her, though, she just wanted her grade to be better and was asking you specifically for help. how could you say no?
-while her asking to study with you was surprising, her preferred study spot was not: the beasts classroom (class hut?). you had to be pretty quiet with the time of night, but it actually proved to be a really good study spot! the easy access to the night sky accompanied by the white noise from the fantastic beasts wasn’t something you would have expected from the outdoor class.
-poppy knew a lot more than you did when it came to what would be on the written portion. despite her asking you for help, she was actually the one helping you study for a while— or at least, until you got to studying for the practical, or studying the constellations. there were a few easy ones to remember, such as Draco and Sirius, but stuff like Camelopardalis and Horolugium were harder to retain. understandably so; the names tripped you up, as well.
-knowing all the work you put in to help poppy study for the exam was enough to make her more confident. all the constellations that weren’t animals were easy to remember, anyways; for the zodiacs, she could just recall one of her friends born under the constellation, and as for the ones not animal or zodiac related, she’d been up all night with you memorizing flash cards. there was no way she could fail this test, not with the help you gave her.
-after the exam finished, she practically dragged you out to the forbidden forest to take Highwing for a ride around the castle. seeing her so enthusiastic after the exam probably meant good things, and watching her have a good time afterward was almost infectious. seeing her in such a good mood put you in one, too, and you decided you probably did good on the exam as well.
final score | O, for Outstanding.
༶•┈┈୨♡୧┈┈•༶
natsai onai
what subject are you studying for? | herbology.
“If you are not too busy, would you mind helping me study for the Herbology O.W.L? The concepts are not as easy for me to grasp, since my Herbology class at Uagadou was not this extensive.”
Tumblr media
-natty is a kind soul. she has a gentle nature and everyone close to her knows that. so when she came to you requesting you study for the herbology exam, you were…surprised. natty is in no way a bad student, in fact, she’s probably one of the better ones, but herbology felt so trivial in comparison to some of the classes she took, and you told her this. she responded with a shrug and just said she didn’t grasp it as easily as, say, arithmancy.
-spending time in the greenhouses with natty actually proved to be a lot of fun! you went off task a surprising amount, just goofing around with the chinese chomping cabbages and seeing who could make their fluxweed grow faster (through your ancient magic connection, you won), and yet somehow you both retained a lot of information. studying with her actually made you feel smarter, in a weird way. maybe it’s the way she explains things– she’s very articulate.
-it was the written portion that was messing you up. while natty could answer some of the practice questions pretty easily, you were getting tripped up, since a few of the questions made it sound as though any answer could be correct. it turned more into natty-making-you-study than studying together. but she helped you understand why each answer was what…at least, mostly. did bubotuber paste really work as a beauty modification tool?
-natty was one of the first to finish the exam, just after adelaide oakes and leona everleigh. on her way back to her seat, she very subtly pointed out the answer to a question she noticed you struggling with. when you thanked her for it after the exam finished, all she said was, “It is thanks for helping me study…but I will not let you cheat again.”
-post-exam celebration was in order, and a trip to the three broomsticks was natty’s pick. she explained that they didn’t have butterbeer in Uagadou, or at least not any this amazing, so she often found herself winding up here in her free time. sirona was more than happy to hear about how exams went, and even offered you a couple drinks on the house, as a reward for doing so well.
final score | O, for outstanding.
༶•┈┈୨♡୧┈┈•༶
imelda reyes
what subject are you studying for? | defense against the dark arts.
“[Y/N], there you are. Come study with me. That’s not a request…hm? What subject? Whatever, you’ll find out!”
Tumblr media
-imelda actually had to swallow her pride to ask you to help her study for the D.A.D.A. exam. while she’s wicked on a broom, and not half bad at arithmancy or magical theory, she struggles with defense against the dark arts…ironically. if quidditch has taught her anything, it’s how to think fast, but agility and strength don’t correlate to skill in wandwork.
-despite initially asking to study in the quidditch field, she knew she would get you both distracted with the presence of a time trial on the pitch and opted for the slytherin common room instead (the viaduct courtyard if you’re not a slytherin). she claimed she’s already studied everything she needed to know on the written portion of the exam, and only needed help with the practical part…which was essentially her way of getting out of work to gossip with you. she knew a lot more than she let on, that’s for sure– could anyone have seen Everett Clopton having admirers coming? have you heard the rumors going around about Ominis and Sebastian? Leander Prewett got a new broom for his birthday and swears he’s gonna take the Quidditch Cup for Gryffindor next year…fat chance, hah. (her words, not yours!)
-when you finally convinced her to start studying for the practical portion, she genuinely wasn’t as bad as she made herself out to be. while she wasn’t on your level, she could hold her own in a fight and was especially good at dodging attacks to follow them up with one. ironically enough the thing she struggled with was the pace at which you fire spells back to back. there was a point where she almost singed her eyebrows off casting an Incendio and Expelliarmus combo, since her movements were uncertain, sparks from the flame ended up going towards her rather than the training dummy. she wasn’t too happy about that.
-imelda seemed her usual self walking into the exam, overconfident and snide. you watched her intently during the practical portion of the O.W.L., and she did alright, albeit with minor mistakes. she waited for you outside the classroom until everyone was gone to thank you for studying with her and that she, “probably could’ve done it [her]self, but your help is appreciated.”
-prior to the exam, she made you swear you’d go racing with her once exams were over, and she held you to that. you went a lot farther than you thought you would– you expected to just run the timed trial a couple of times and let that be that. instead, you flew the entirety of the castle, past the station, and headed into Irondale before starting back to the school. admittedly, you had a lot more fun with her than you initially thought you would, especially considering her attitude. perhaps you misjudged her.
final score | A, for Acceptable.

I love the responds to my asks!
I can see it so clearly with the princess getting hit on in front of sun lol
I love the fact that moon is a fluster boi, might not show it, which makes me love it even more
Its so interresting with the responses to eclipse in all of them
Oh i adore the last part sososossosoSO much! Them learning what happend and just going "nuh uh this princess is ours get our own" and then getting down to the killing buisness of things.
Also got another one
How would the bois react to them hurting the princess? Both physical and emotional?
How would sun and moon react to accidentally hurting the princess during training? Like either them falling and hurting their wrist when trying to catch their fall, or maybe accidentally with their weapons during a duel.
OOOOO how would the boys react to the princess kissing them on the cheek for the first time!!!?
AND how would they react to someone kissing the princesses hand/cheek right in front of them in a clear way to provoke them!
Also good on you to focus on the stuff ya need to! I know you will do amazing on that animation<3 remember to take breaks thoooo or i shall come and bonk thy on thy head/j
Hehe yeah! Sun would actually not just grab you but would even lift you up like a doll just to get you OUTTA that conversation with the flirting stranger. Moon is just so used to being focused and in work mode so much that he forgets he can feel strong emotions and when he does it catches him so off-guard most of the time LMAO
And yeah, as amusing as Eclipse is described in my answered asks thus far, it's not a fun experience when you're on the bad side of things. He may be a "Backup" Assassin, but he's the kind of "Backup" you'd ready on dire circumstances because you know he can deal with it almost easily
Anyway, for the questions! All under the cut as usual!
Hurting The Princess (Physical And Emotional):
Sun and Moon - both Sun and Moon have already expected hurting the Princess during their training sessions. Not to any malicious intent, but just because it's unavoidable. They assume that the Princess already knew this before agreeing to their offer of training her for the sake of her freedom so anytime you would get bruises and cuts from training, the best they can do is pause for a moment to let you recollect yourself, or help you up if it's THAT bad. Of course, they don't actually put in their 100% when training you so you won't die or get too injured that the castle servants report their worries back to the Majesties of the Palace. But if things go too awry then they can always rely on potions. I don't think I've said it here before but it's tagged in the fic that this universe is Arcanepunk Genre! Which basically means that magic and technology co-exists. Although, it's usually magic powering technology but I'm putting my spin on it as not just two things dependent on one another but also two independent things together. ANYWAY! I won't be giving an answer on the emotional hurt one... I want the answer to that to be given through the fic once that scene happens hehehe
Eclipse - physically, he would stop whatever he's doing and immediately tend to you! He doesn't like seeing his loved ones hurt. Even Sun and Moon being created solely for their assassination capabilities was something Eclipse wouldn't have wanted if he had the choice. Emotionally, well... I'll let the fic answer that for me too hehe
The Princess Giving Them A Kiss:
Sun - it basically goes like this: Doesn't get why you did what you just did, you explain why you did it, he realizes that he's now warming up from fluster, then tease you for it only causing you to kiss him another time which makes him heat up so much he runs away and returns minutes later with a gift maybe
Moon - oh boy haha I like this reaction in my head that I actually wanna do it to him myself, but anyway this is how it goes: Freezes up and completely silences himself, you ask if he's okay, he takes a moment to mutter out a short "Y-yes", you kiss him again, he still stays silent and frozen until you decide to do something else or he gets taken out of the trance by Sun's chatter
Eclipse - his reaction would be charming, very charming: First he'd get surprised then you would tease him but he teases back, leaning closer to your face as he taunts you with words of promises in returning the gesture, once he has kissed back he will lean in for another until you're the one flustered because honestly the Princess is no match for Eclipse's confidence even if she knows she's hot shit herself
The Princess Receiving A Kiss To Provoke The Assassins:
Sun - impulsively challenges the stranger to a fist fight and would pummel them with such ease. He'd only let the stranger live because he doesn't want the Princess to connect the dots that he would literally kill people just for her and just so he (and Moon) can keep her. My boy's a little bit possessive
Moon - asks the Princess to do something as a part of their "training" so she would leave the scene THEN speaks of death threats right up to the stranger as he lifts the sharper curve of his sickle to their chin. His eyes have flickered from his relaxed mode black and red to his kill mode burning scarlet, he's not messing around
Eclipse - similarly to Moon, he'd ask the Princess to leave the scene for reasons that are "unrelated" and tell threats of demise to the stranger. But unlike Moon, uhm. He will actually kill the person before the day ends. Those are not threats, they are promises
Ack thank you for the questions!! And I appreciate the reminder <33 I've actually been watching Kung Fu Panda lately so yes I've been taking breaks too. I love the trilogy so much... I watched the scene where the "MY SEANONING" meme from my banner comes from (KFP 1!) and I recorded myself excitedly reacting to it and sent it to my friends AHAHAH very fun time. I'll work on animating again after I finish the 4th movie :0 it'll be my first time watching it <33
