The reporters interviewed Amit Soussana for eight hours and doctors she spoke with immediately after her release. They also reviewed medical records, videos, text messages and photographs.

March 26, 2024
Amit Soussana, an Israeli lawyer, was abducted from her home on Oct. 7, beaten and dragged into Gaza by at least 10 men, some armed. Several days into her captivity, she said, her guard began asking about her sex life.
Ms. Soussana said she was held alone in a child’s bedroom, chained by her left ankle. Sometimes, the guard would enter, sit beside her on the bed, lift her shirt and touch her, she said.
He also repeatedly asked when her period was due. When her period ended, around Oct. 18, she tried to put him off by pretending that she was bleeding for nearly a week, she recalled.
Around Oct. 24, the guard, who called himself Muhammad, attacked her, she said.
Early that morning, she said, Muhammad unlocked her chain and left her in the bathroom. After she undressed and began washing herself in the bathtub, Muhammad returned and stood in the doorway, holding a pistol.
“He came towards me and shoved the gun at my forehead,” Ms. Soussana recalled during eight hours of interviews with The New York Times in mid-March. After hitting Ms. Soussana and forcing her to remove her towel, Muhammad groped her, sat her on the edge of the bathtub and hit her again, she said.
He dragged her at gunpoint back to the child’s bedroom, a room covered in images of the cartoon character SpongeBob SquarePants, she recalled.
“Then he, with the gun pointed at me, forced me to commit a sexual act on him,” Ms. Soussana said.
Ms. Soussana, 40, is the first Israeli to speak publicly about being sexually assaulted during captivity after the Hamas-led raid on southern Israel. In her interviews with The Times, conducted mostly in English, she provided extensive details of sexual and other violence she suffered during a 55-day ordeal.
Ms. Soussana’s personal account of her experience in captivity is consistent with what she told two doctors and a social worker less than 24 hours after she was freed on Nov. 30. Their reports about her account state the nature of the sexual act; The Times agreed not to disclose the specifics.
Ms. Soussana described being detained in roughly half a dozen sites, including private homes, an office and a subterranean tunnel. Later in her detention, she said, a group of captors suspended her across the gap between two couches and beat her.
For months, Hamas and its supporters have denied that its members sexually abused people in captivity or during the Oct. 7 terrorist attack. This month, a United Nations report said that there was “clear and convincing information” that some hostages had suffered sexual violence and there were “reasonable grounds” to believe sexual violence occurred during the raid, while acknowledging the “challenges and limitations” of examining the issue.
After being released along with 105 other hostages during a cease-fire in late November, Ms. Soussana spoke only in vague terms publicly about her treatment in the Gaza Strip, wary of recounting such a traumatic experience. When filmed by Hamas minutes before being freed, she said, she pretended to have been treated well to avoid jeopardizing her release.
Ms. Soussana said she had decided to speak out now to raise awareness about the plight of the hostages still in Gaza, whose number has been put at more than 100, as negotiations for a cease-fire falter.
Hours after her release, Ms. Soussana spoke with a senior Israeli gynecologist, Dr. Julia Barda, and a social worker, Valeria Tsekhovsky, about the sexual assault, the two women said in separate interviews with The Times. A medical report filed jointly by them, and reviewed by The Times, briefly summarizes her account.
“Amit spoke immediately, fluently and in detail, not only about her sexual assault but also about the many other ordeals she experienced,” Dr. Barda said.
The following day, on Dec. 1, Ms. Soussana shared her experience with a doctor from Israel’s National Center of Forensic Medicine, according to the center’s medical report, which was reviewed by The Times.
Siegal Sadetzki, a professor at Tel Aviv University medical school who is helping and advising Ms. Soussana’s family as a volunteer, said Ms. Soussana first told her about the sexual assault within days of her release. Professor Sadetzki, a former top Israeli health official, said Ms. Soussana’s accounts have remained consistent.
Ms. Soussana also spoke to the U.N. team that published the report on sexual violence, but The Times was unable to review her testimony.
A spokesman for Hamas, Basem Naim, said in a 1,300-word response to The Times that it was essential for the group to investigate Ms. Soussana’s allegations, but that such an inquiry was impossible in “the current circumstances.”
Mr. Naim cast doubt on Ms. Soussana’s account, questioning why she had not spoken publicly about the extent of her mistreatment. He said the level of detail in her account makes “it difficult to believe the story, unless it was designed by some security officers.”
“For us, the human body, and especially that of the woman, is sacred,” he said, adding that Hamas’s religious beliefs “forbade any mistreatment of any human being, regardless of his sex, religion or ethnicity.”
Mr. Naim criticized The Times for insufficient coverage of Palestinian suffering, including reports of sexual assault by Israeli soldiers on Palestinian women, which have been the subject of investigations by U.N. officials, rights groups and others. He also said “civilian hostages were not the target” of the raid and said “we have from the first moment declared our readiness to release them.”
A Hamas planning document found in one village shortly after the Oct. 7 raid, which was reviewed by The Times, said: “Take soldiers and civilians as prisoners and hostages to negotiate with.” Video from Oct. 7 shows uniformed Hamas militants abducting civilians.
The Abduction
Ms. Soussana lived alone in a cramped single-story home on the western side of Kibbutz Kfar Azza. After hearing sirens warning of rocket attacks on Oct. 7, she said, she sheltered in her bedroom, which was also a reinforced safe room. From her bedroom, Ms. Soussana listened as the attackers’ gunfire grew closer.
The small kibbutz stands roughly 1.5 miles from Gaza, and it was one of more than 20 Israeli villages, towns and army bases overrun that day by thousands who surged across the Gazan border shortly after dawn. Some 1,200 people were killed that day and about 250 abducted, Israeli officials say, setting off a war in Gaza that local health officials say has killed at least 31,000 Palestinians.
Ms. Soussana was at the kibbutz almost by chance. Sick with a fever, she had been recuperating the previous day in the nearby city of Sderot, with her mother, Mira, who pressed her to stay the night. But Ms. Soussana drove home to Kfar Azza to feed her three cats, she said.
The youngest of three sisters, Ms. Soussana had grown up in Sderot. She qualified as a lawyer at a local college and worked for a law firm specializing in intellectual property. Her colleagues considered her a diligent, quiet and private person who kept her distance, her supervisor, Oren Mendler, said in an interview. In Kfar Azza, Ms. Soussana said, she rarely involved herself in village life and was not part of the local WhatsApp groups, which left her unaware of the extent of the attack on the kibbutz.
At 9:46 a.m. that day, she heard gunmen outside, prompting her to hide inside her bedroom closet, according to messages on her family WhatsApp group reviewed by The Times. Twenty minutes later, her phone died.
Moments later, “I heard an explosion, a huge explosion,” she said. “And the second after that, someone opened the closet door.”
Dragged from the closet, she said, she saw roughly 10 men rifling through her belongings, armed with assault rifles, a grenade launcher and a machete.
Part of the house was on fire — a blaze that would ruin the building.
Over the next hour, the group dragged her through a nearby field toward Gaza. Security footage from a solar farm near the kibbutz, which was widely circulated on the internet, shows the group repeatedly tackling her to the ground as they struggled to restrain her. At one point, a kidnapper picked her up and slung her across his back. The video shows her flailing so hard, her legs thrashing in the air, that the man tumbled to the ground.
“I didn’t want to let them take me to Gaza like an object, without a fight,” said Ms. Soussana. “I still kept believing that someone will come and rescue me.”
The Abuser
The kidnappers attempted to restrain her by beating her and wrapping her in a white fabric, the video shows. Unable to subdue her, the attackers tried and failed to carry her by bicycle, she said. Finally, they bound her hands and feet and dragged her across the bumpy farmland into Gaza, she said.
She was badly wounded, bleeding heavily, with a split lip, she said. The hospital report prepared shortly after her release said that she returned to Israel with fractures in her right eye socket, cheek, knee and nose and severe bruising on her knee and back. The report stated that several injuries were related to her abduction on Oct. 7, including punches to her right eye.
After reaching the edge of Gaza, Ms. Soussana said, she was shoved into a waiting car and driven a few hundred yards into the outskirts of Gaza City. She was untied, dressed in a paramilitary uniform and transferred to another car filled with uniformed militants. A hood was placed over her head, though she could still catch glimpses of her surroundings from under it, she said. After a short drive, she was hurried up a staircase and onto a rooftop, she said.
After the hood was removed, Ms. Soussana said, she found herself in a small structure built on the roof of what she would later realize was an upscale private home. She remembered that militants were busy taking more guns from a box. Then the gunmen hurried downstairs, and she was left alone, facing a wall, with a man who said he was the owner of the house and called himself Mahmoud, she recalled.
“After a couple of minutes, he said I can turn around,” Ms. Soussana said. “And I was shocked,” she added. “I find myself sitting in a house in Gaza.”
She said Mahmoud was soon joined by a younger man, Muhammad. She remembered Muhammad as a chubby, balding man of average height with a wide nose.
Later that day, they dressed her in a thick brown garment that covered her body, she said. They gave her three pills, which they said were painkillers. It was the only time that she remembers receiving any kind of medicine in Gaza, let alone medical treatment.
Fitted with a fan and a television, the room appeared to have been prepared for her arrival, she said. There were three mattresses, she said, one for her and two for the guards.
Early in her captivity, her guards chained her ankle to the window frame, she said. Around Oct. 11, she said, she was led by the chain to a bedroom downstairs. She understood that it belonged to one of Mahmoud’s sons, and that his family had been moved to another place.
The chain was reattached to the door handle, she said, next to a mirror. For the first time since her capture, she could see what she looked like.
“I saw the chains and I saw that my face was all swollen and blue,” she said.
“And I just started to cry,” she said. “This was one of the lowest moments of my life.”
The Jail
For the next two and a half weeks in October, Ms. Soussana said, she was guarded exclusively by Muhammad.
She recalled that the room was almost permanently shrouded in darkness. The curtain was usually drawn shut and there were rolling power outages for most of the day, she said.
She said Muhammad slept outside the bedroom, in the adjacent living room, but frequently entered the bedroom in his underwear, asking about her sex life and offering to massage her body.
When he took her to the bathroom, Ms. Soussana said, he refused to let her shut the door. After giving her sanitary pads, Muhammad seemed particularly interested in the timing of her period, she said. She said she had spoken in a mix of basic English and Arabic; she had learned a little Arabic at school and her mother’s family — Jews from Iraq — had sometimes spoken it during her childhood.
“Every day, he would ask: ‘Did you get your period? Did you get your period? When you get your period, when it will be over, you will wash, you will take a shower and you will wash your clothes,’” Ms. Soussana recalled.
When it arrived, Ms. Soussana said, she was exhausted, afraid and undernourished; her period lasted just one day. She managed to convince him that her menstruation continued for nearly a week, she said.
She tried to humanize herself in his eyes by asking the meaning of Arabic words she heard on television. She also promised that her family would reward him financially if she was returned without further harm to Israel, she said.
In the afternoons, two associates of Muhammad would join him at the apartment, bringing him a cooked meal, she said. Some of this food was given to her as her one meal of the day.
The Israeli strikes on the neighborhood became more frequent and frightening, Ms. Soussana said, noting that some shattered the windows. As the bombing intensified, she said, she started feeling sorry for the civilians, wondering why Hamas had never built bomb shelters for its people.
“I felt for them,” Ms. Soussana said. “Just think about growing up like this — it’s scary.”
The Assault
Early on the morning of the assault, she said, Muhammad insisted she take a shower, but she refused, saying the water was cold. Undeterred, he unchained Ms. Soussana and brought her to the kitchen and showed her a pot of water boiling on the stove, she said.
Minutes later, he brought her to the bathroom and gave her the heated water to pour over herself, she said.
After washing for a few minutes, she heard his voice again from the door, she said.
“‘Quickly, Amit, quickly,’” she recalled him saying.
“I turned around and I saw him standing there,” she said. “With the gun.”
She remembered reaching for a hand towel to cover herself as he advanced and hit her.
“He said, ‘Amit, Amit, take it off,’” she recalled. “Finally, I took it off.”
“He sat me on the edge of the bath. And I closed my legs. And I resisted. And he kept punching me and put his gun in my face,” Ms. Soussana said. “Then he dragged me to the bedroom.”
At that point, Muhammad forced her to commit a sexual act on him, Ms. Soussana said. After the assault, Muhammad left the room to wash, leaving Ms. Soussana sitting naked in the dark, she said.
When he returned, she recalled him showing remorse, saying, “I’m bad, I’m bad, please don’t tell Israel.”
That day, Muhammad repeatedly returned to offer her food, Ms. Soussana said. Sobbing on the bed, she turned down the initial offerings, she said.
Knowing that Ms. Soussana craved sunlight, she said, he refused to open the curtains, leaving the room in darkness. Desperate for daylight, she accepted the food, believing that she had no other option but to placate her abuser.
“You can’t stand looking at him — but you have to: He’s the one who’s protecting you, he’s your guard,” she said. “You’re there with him and you know that every moment it can happen again. You’re completely dependent on him.”
The Israelis
Ms. Soussana said her captors moved her away from the border after a major, hourslong bombardment overnight. Based on the extent of the explosions and snippets she caught on television, she later concluded it was around the start of Israel’s ground invasion of Gaza on Friday, Oct. 27.
On the following day, she was hurried into a small white car, she said. The driver headed southwest toward what she would later be told was the central city of Nuseirat.
“Muhammad is sitting in the back seat next to me, and with the gun pointed at me,” she said.
The car stopped outside what looked like a United Nations school and Ms. Soussana was ushered into a busy street, she recalled.
She said she was handed over to a man who called himself Amir. He marched her up the stairs of a nearby apartment block and into another private home, she said.
For the first time in weeks, she was free of Muhammad — but terrified to be entering yet another unknown. “‘Oh my God,’” she remembered wondering. “‘What’s going to happen to me?’”
The man ushered her into a bedroom and shut the door behind her, she recalled. Inside, she found two young women playing cards, next to an older man lying on a bed and an older woman sitting in a chair, she said. Ms. Soussana was wearing traditional clothes from Gaza, she recalled.
“They looked at me and I looked at them, for like half a minute,” she said. “Then I asked, ‘Are you Israelis?’”
“Are you Israeli?” Ms. Soussana remembered one of the women replying.
The Tunnels
Three weeks after her kidnapping, Ms. Soussana had been united with four other hostages. Hugging them, Ms. Soussana broke down in tears, she said.
The identities of the four others were shared with The Times on the condition that their names would not be used to protect those still in captivity.
A few days after her arrival, she was summoned to the apartment’s living room, Ms. Soussana recalled. Amir often played here with his children.
On that day, the guards wrapped her head in a pink shirt, forced her to sit on the floor, handcuffed her, and began beating her with the butt of a gun, she said.
After several minutes, they used duct tape to cover her mouth and nose, tied her feet, and placed the handcuffs on the base of her palms, she said. Then she was suspended, hanging “like a chicken” from a stick stretching between two couches, causing her such pain that she felt that her hands would soon be dislocated.
They carried on beating and kicking her, focusing on the soles of her feet, while simultaneously demanding information they believed she was hiding from them, Ms. Soussana said.
She still doesn’t understand what exactly they wanted or why they thought she was concealing something, she said. At one point, the head guard brought over a spike, and made as if to poke her eye with it, pulling away just in time, she said.
“It was like that for 45 minutes or so,” she said. “They were hitting me and laughing and kicking me, and called the other hostages to see me,” she said.
Ms. Soussana recalled that the kidnappers untied her and returned her to the bedroom, telling her she had 40 minutes to produce the information they wanted or else they would kill her. She said one of the young women was so frightened that she asked Ms. Soussana if she had any last messages for her family.
In mid-November, the hostages were separated: The two youngest women were taken to an unknown location, she said, while Ms. Soussana and the older couple were driven to a house surrounded by farmland.
They found the house full of gunmen, who ordered them to sit on the floor. Suddenly, the older woman began to scream, Ms. Soussana said.
The woman was looking into a shaft that descended into the ground, Ms. Soussana said. “I hear one of the drivers telling her: ‘Don’t worry, don’t worry. It’s a city down there.’”
“Then I realized,” Ms. Soussana said. “We’re going into the tunnels.”
The Release
A ladder, several stairs and a series of narrow sloping passageways led the three hostages deep underground, she said.
By the time they reached the bottom, the guards said they were 40 meters deep, something they hoped would reassure the hostages, she said: The Israeli bombs could not reach them there.
Ms. Soussana said a big gunman in a mask was waiting for them at the bottom. Initially, he started shouting at them, telling them that Israel had killed his family, she said, but then quickly stopped, removed his mask and took a different tone.
She said the man introduced himself in English as Jihad and told them his father had worked in Israel and had even had his Israeli boss to dinner, in the years when Israeli civilians could still enter Gaza. He spoke in Hebrew at times. Jihad said he had learned some from watching Israeli television and sang them a famous song that he had heard on a children’s show, Ms. Soussana remembered.
“I was shocked,” Ms. Soussana said. “Suddenly, he was the most humane guy we met there.”
The ground shook every time a missile struck nearby, making her fear they might be buried alive, she said. The tunnels were dark, damp and too narrow for two people to pass each other. And their subterranean cell was so short of air that they were left dizzy and panting after taking a few steps, she said.
Israeli troops would later capture and photograph the tunnel. Ms. Soussana identified fabrics and mattresses in the pictures.
Their captors spent little more than an hour a day in the tunnel, ascending to higher levels overnight for fresh air, Ms. Soussana said. The hostages pleaded with the guards to bring them, too.
After several days, the kidnappers gave in, brought them back to the surface and drove them to another private house, Ms. Soussana said.
They were still there when Israel and Hamas agreed to a hostage deal and a temporary truce, which went into force on Friday, Nov. 24. The following day, the three hostages were driven to an office in Gaza City — Ms. Soussana’s final detention site.
Every day brought hope and disappointment. It was never clear which hostages would be freed, or when.
On Thursday, Nov. 30, which turned out to be the last full day of the truce, the guards were making lunch when one of them finished a phone call and turned to Amit.
“He says: ‘Amit. Israel. You. One hour,’” Ms. Soussana recalled.
Within an hour, Ms. Soussana said, she was separated from the older hostage and driven through Gaza City. The car stopped, and a woman in a hijab climbed inside. It was another Israeli hostage: Mia Schem, who was also being released.
They were taken to a junkyard, Ms. Soussana recalled. Around them, she said, their guards changed from civilian clothes into uniforms.
Finally, the two women were driven to Palestine Square, a major plaza at the heart of Gaza City, where a raucous crowd waited to see them handed over to the Red Cross. Social media video showed that Hamas struggled to control the onlookers, who surrounded the car, pressed up against its windows and at one point began to rock the vehicle, Ms. Soussana said.
After a tense few minutes, the Red Cross officials managed to transfer the women to their jeep.
As they approached the Israeli border, a female Red Cross official handed Ms. Soussana a phone. A person who said he was a soldier greeted her in Hebrew.
“He said, ‘A couple more minutes and we’re going to meet you,’” Ms. Soussana said. “I remember, I started to cry.”

The war in Sudan
On April 15, a war broke out in Sudan's capital city of Khartoum between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), and a paramilitary group known as the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Since then, eight months of conflict has led to major destruction of Khartoum's infrastructure, the most developed region of Sudan, with fighting also spreading to the regions of Darfur in the west and Kordofan in the south.
Civilians in conflict zones have been forcibly displaced, under threat of physical and sexual violence, particulary by the RSF, which has looted, destroyed, and settled in people's homes.
In the western region of Darfur, a campaign of ethnic cleansing is being carried out by the RSF targeting the Masalit tribe. Allegations of genocide have been levied against the RSF.
Reports have just emerged that fighting has now spread to Wad Madani in AI Gazira state, which houses nearly 500,00 IDPs from Khartoum.

Additional humanitarian aid trucks started rolling over the Rafah Crossing from Egypt to Gaza early Friday [November 24] morning, as the planned four-day ceasefire began. The aid trucks, fuel tankers among them, were a welcome sight amid the seven-week-long war between Israel and Hamas.
Since Hamas attacked Israel on Oct. 7, killing 1,200 people and taking more than 200 hostage, Israel has periodically [note: imho, this language is wildly minimizing the extent of the long-term, near-total blockade] cut off water, fuel and electricity to Gaza. An estimated 14,000 people have been killed by Israeli bombardment of the territory, the Hamas-run health ministry has said.
People in Gaza experienced reprieve on Friday after the warring sides implemented a new deal that included a temporary pause in fighting, delivery of more aid, and the planned exchange of a possible 50 Hamas hostages for 150 Palestinian prisoners held by Israel.
International organizations and Qatar’s foreign minister, who helped broker the deal, have said the new aid will not be enough to address the dire humanitarian disaster in Gaza. More than half of the territory’s two million-plus residents are internally displaced, with food and clean water now running out in north Gaza.
The United Nations and many aid groups have been calling for a permanent ceasefire.
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that the country will continue its war to eliminate Hamas after the truce. Hamas told Al Jazeera in an interview that they want a permanent ceasefire, but said the group is “ready to deal with all situations imposed by Israel.”
What aid is entering Gaza?
Between Oct. 21 and Nov. 23, more than 1,723 truckloads of humanitarian supplies entered Gaza through the Egyptian border, the U.N. said. Before the war, a monthly average of nearly 10,000 trucks of commercial and humanitarian commodities came in.
The U.N. said Israel allowed 19,812 U.S. gallons (75,000 liters) of fuel to enter Gaza on Nov. 23. Israel had previously prohibited fuel over fears it would be used by Hamas for military purposes. Fuel is now being distributed by the U.N. to support food distribution and to operate generators at hospitals, water and sanitation facilities, shelters and other critical services, the agency said.
The Israel Defense Forces said in a statement shared on various social media channels that four tankers of fuel and four tankers of cooking gas were transferred from Egypt on Friday morning.
Videos showed more trucks started passing into Gaza after the temporary ceasefire started at 7 a.m. local time.
As of 10:30 a.m., 60 trucks of a total of 230 expected on Friday had entered Gaza, Al Arabiya reported, citing a Rafah crossing border official.
The Palestinian Red Crescent received two ambulances and 85 trucks loaded with aid through the crossing, carrying food, water, relief items, medical equipment, and medications, the group wrote on X (formerly Twitter)...
Multiple U.N. agencies have called for a humanitarian ceasefire, with U.N.’s Secretary-General saying in a statement on Nov. 19 that “this must stop.”
In a news conference Friday morning, Jens Laerke, spokesman for the U.N. humanitarian agency OCHA, told reporters: “We hope that this humanitarian pause leads to a longer term humanitarian ceasefire for the benefit of the people of Gaza, Israel and others.”

Wrote this while super tired and delirious 😎
TW: Pet names, Omega Fem!reader, human/civilian Bang Chan, slight breeding kink?, P.I.V, intentional un-protected sex, slight blindfold kink, scent kink
I can just imagine his dick inside you, pressing against the soft ridges of your gummy walls feverishly.
His hips not stopping for a moment as he snaps them against your ass like an animal. He’s a little peeved by your moans being muffled by the pillow that your face is currently stuffed into, your tears soaking the fabric that covered your eyes.
“What’s that baby?” He grunts, teasing you with a grin as you moaned loudly again. “Huh? Speak princess.” He mocked as his hand left one of your hips and gathered your hair into a low ponytail.
Swiftly, he tugged on your hair which forcefully lifted your head from the pillow. It was like you were a dog, being pulled by your hair as if it was a leash.
His thrusts didn’t falter one bit as he pounded into you relentlessly. “Come on baby, tell me how good you feel.” He cooed, an obvious smirk in his tone you could imagine even though you couldn’t see him.
“S-so… mh-hm…” you could barely get the words out, whimpering and moaning at the sheer impact of his thrusts meeting your core. You swore you would feel his tip bruising the entrance of your cervix.
He hummed again, feigning annoyance at your lack of words. “Speak.” He commanded, playing into the fantasy of you just being a needy omega. A damn mutt for him to play with.
Your mind was clouded, the omega in you bursting with happiness and pleasure as she felt her needs be met by the mer human that had saved you all those years ago.
You were also grateful for Chan, of course you were. Saving you from that illegal omega breeding ring was the best day of your life, but the day he finally helped you with your heat quickly topped it.
And that day was today. After 3 hopeless years of begging every time your heat came he finally caved in and decided to help you. Now you could stop that pathetic act of humping his pillows, of surrounding yourself of his scent despite him not even being an alpha.
All humans had scents, and thanks to your heightened senses during heats you could smell it more clearly.
Usually only an alpha’s scent could satisfy the need of an omega, atleast enough to not make him/her/them crazy. But for some reason Chans was enough, it was always more than enough but also almost not enough if that made sense.
It was enough to stop her from clawing her way out the house and looking for someone to fuck her like an actual dog in heat, but it wasn’t enough to satisfy the ache in her core.
Again, usually only an alpha’s or beta’s cock could satisfy her hungry need of being filled up and used.
Chan somehow, did even more than that. It made her stupid, it made her so stupid she was drunk off of the feeling of him inside her.
With each delicious thrust she was only growing nearer to her release.
“C-Channie..” she moaned, chest heaving as she felt a bead of sweat trickle down her face. He knew she wanted something, she had a question but he wasn’t going to go easy on her.
“Spit it out puppy.” I whispered, kissing the shell of her ear while continuing his merciless pounding into her.
She whined and moaned, breath faltering a bit as she babbled on her words. “B-back, on my back!” She pleaded, wanted to face him before she had her first ever orgasm with him.
He graciously gave her what she wanted and pulled out slowly to flip her on her back. “Is that all baby?” He asked, a loving tone replacing the teasing one he was using just a few minutes ago.
“See you, I want to see you!” She begged, asking him if her blindfold could come off.
He chuckled a little bit before uttering the word ‘cute’ and slowly untying the fabric that was covering her eyes.
She stared up at him with glossy eyes that were a bit red from the tears of pleasure that was rippling through her a few moments ago.
He gave her a few cheek and temple kisses as she adjusted to the red LED’s lighting up the room.
Her nose instinctively buried into his neck where his scent was the strongest and she let out a groan at the smell she grew to love oh so much.
“Ready darling?” Chan whispered softly, his hands sliding down to grip onto her hips. She nodded slowly and with that he began pushing in.
His mushroom top of a dick provided an amazing stretch to her core and she let out a few pants at the feeling she wished she could have every day.
She could hear his soft chuckles of delight as he looked down at her flushed and fuck-out expression on her face.
Inch by inch, he slowly eased in despite not having to because she was dripping with slick and she was already stretched out by his delicious fat cock.
“M-move.” She squeaked, her hands already making a move to grip onto his shoulders and nails into his shoulder blades. “Shit baby, do I make you feel good? Huh? Omega’s happy?” He grunted, nose scrunching at the feeling of her tight walls squeezing his length and nails digging into his skin.
“Yes! Yes!” She squealed, head thrown back to the pillow as he finally bottomed out again. “What do you want sweetheart? Rough or sweet?” He questioned with a grin, knowing the fact he wasn’t moving at all was irking her a tiny bit.
She whined a little at the question, her brain not being able to pick and just wanting him to move. “R-rough, I don’t care!” She whimpered, one hand cupping the back of his neck as the other reached farther down his back to claw at the soft, smooth, skin.
He grunted again before chuckling darkly at the feeling of her lips colliding with his when she pulled him down.
“You asked for it~” He whispered against the soft, pillowy, pink lips of his precious omega.
Without a second to waste he leaned back a bit to slowly pull out. It made your eyes open wide at the alarming thought of his filling pulling out. “Chan-!” You’re cut off before you get the chance to beg him to not pull out when he slams back in.
Your eyes rolled back into your head as he picks up the speed from before, effortlessly pounding into you over and over again.
The familiar feeling of his tip pushing against your cervix made you clench around him in awe. He was just so big and long to be able to do that.
Your little whimpers and moans mixed with his groans and grunt filled the room along with the sound of skin on skin compact and the smell of sex.
The atmosphere was just right, it was perfect in fact. This was your 6th heat since living with Chan, you get 2 annual heats per year. One at the beginning and one at the end. Only now were you able to properly get through one of your heats.
You had imagined it to be sweeter, all cozy and soft, maybe not even during the night but afternoon, an hour before the sun even sets.
You imagined the soft golden glow encapsulating you and your alpha as he spoiled you rotten with his love.
That was what you imagined before you met Chan, before you were kidnapped at the age of 17 and shipped country to country for the idea of using you as a breeding omega. It was the same year you had discovered your secondary gender.
You had only told your close family and a few ‘trusted friends’. It was during the time when omegas were getting kidnapped left and right so you had a good reason to not want to tell many people.
Obviously someone let it slip and that’s when you were ambushed on your way home from school, beaten half to death and dragged to a van.
They made sure to cut your hair short, dying it and giving you a tattoo in the symbol of a star, trying their best to make you like the exact opposite of what you looked like so you weren’t recognizable if someone were to see you.
You were chained every day and fed sloppy seconds as they tried to beat you into submission.
They tried to brainwash you, make you think this was all good. They were only making your job easier for you, you wouldn’t have to look anymore to find someone to ease your omega’s desires.
You had fought back at every guy that had bought you, clawing and not letting them get anywhere near your panties.
They often gave up quickly, not wanting to deal with a hardheaded omega and returning you back to the illegal omega breeding ring.
Right when you turned 24 was when cops found out about the ring, finding the hideout quickly and catch everyone that was involved. Every omega got transferred to their family’s, to any family they could find at least.
But yours? Somehow the guys that kidnapped you were able to wipe you off of the face of the earth.
No family, no medical records, No high school or middle school registration, not even elementary school!
You were nothing, you had nothing.
But than Chan found you, he had heard the news of the illegal omega breeding ring being busted and founded out and went down to the police station where they were asking for volunteers to help house any omegas that didn’t have any family to go back to.
The idea was to help them until they had a stable job to have their own life.
There were other people in that day, majority of them being A/O/B, all but Chan.
He was the only human that cared enough to help, and maybe that’s why you walked over and tried your best to catch his scent.
It had shocked him really, you were so tiny, visibly shaking as you tried your best to walk.
Your eyes were wide and as soon as you made eye contact with his brown eyes you melted.
It was like any other omega meeting a kind alpha. Expect, Chan wasn’t an Alpha and he didn’t even think about anything romantic towards you for a while.
It was only during this last year did he start to see you in a different light.
At first when you begged him to help with your heat he was so shocked and horrified that he panicked and freaked out.
That wasn’t ethical at all, I mean, what kind of person would he be to sleep with an omega who just came out of a breeding ring?
Obviously it was just her omega talking, she didn’t know what was happening and she was completely controlled by the wolf inside her.
He would never take advantage of her. The second year was far worse, that was the year he suggested he stayed out of the house during her heats so she wouldn’t be tempted to try and sleep with him.
She was too embarrassed to disagree with him and instead just nodded, letting him do as he pleased. During the first annual heat he stayed over at a friend’s house like he said and it completely ruined her.
Yes, it was hard having his constant scent around her, almost teasing her and mocking the fact she couldn’t be railed by him.
But the lack of scent drove her absolutely insane. Only the faint scent of him on his sheets and clothes were able to ground her even though she felt like ripping the whole house to shreds.
She was going absolutely feral without him and she made sure to express that when he got home after her heat.
“Please don’t leave ever again! It was torture.” She pouted the second he walked through their door.
He was confused and surprised by it before she jumped into his arms, face nuzzling into his neck.
Thankfully he stayed during her second annual heat of that year and she did much better.
Now it’s the 3rd year, it’s currently her first annual heat and she’s in utter bliss.
She only explained her feelings for him after he made another suggestion.
“What if I find you an alpha to help you through your heats? I have a few friends that could help, obviously it would be consensual but maybe that would help you?” He asked, they were on the topic of her heat since it was scheduled to start in a week.
If it was any other situation, if he was any other person, she would probably agree with him. Tell him to ask around, reassure him they would be using the alpha’s house so he wouldn’t have to hear this animalistic breeding sounds.
But this was Chan, this was the human the single handily made her hot and slicked up without it even being her heat. Without even knowing and trying to arouse her.
She felt so loved and protected by him, his sweet side making her want to see him in a different light.
Wanting to see just how rough he could be, how commanding he would be in the bedroom. The fantasy of having a soft and loving first time changed into an erotic and dirty first time with the one and only Bang Christoper Chan.
“No.” She pouted, leaning against the kitchen island as he was on the opposite side with a mug of tea in hand.
“What?” He questioned, a bit surprised by her curt and serious tone as she answered. “I don’t want my want my heat with someone else, I want you.” She lightly whined, continuing to pout as his cheeks flared up.
She wasn’t under the influence of her omega right now, she was still in a stable mind so he couldn’t make an excuse of saying it was only her omega talking.
“Chan.” She started, walking around the kitchen island to stand in front of him, resting both her hands over the top of his. “I need you. My omega doesn’t crave just anybody to scratch her desires, she craves the man that has mine and her’s full trust. Our full heart.
She tried her best to explained, she wasn’t attracted to him because he was the closets male to her, that reason wasn’t even on the list.
He was shocked at first, breath hitched at the confession.
Is that why she was more brazen lately? Only wearing one of his shirts and those thin navy blue panties around the house.
Or a pair of super-short athletic shorts and matching white sports bra.
She no longer locked the door when taking a bath, even barging in to use the toilet whenever he was using taking a shower.
She was getting more comfortable around him and he noticed it quickly, thinking it was her way of playing the long run and getting him to finally fuck her through her heat.
“But- I-I’m no alpha..” he said, stuttering a bit as she grew closer to him. “I know, it’s weird and confusing to me too. But your scent.”
She paused, her mouth watering and she had to suppress a groan once catching a whiff of his scent. “Your scent drives me crazy, it makes my omega scream to be bred, to have you pump me full of pups.”
He could hear the whine on her voice, the utter thirst she has for him and he felt slightly dizzy.
He would be straight up lying to say he didn’t find her attractive, she was the definition of beauty in his eyes. Her hair was at the perfect length that frames her face, eyes always doe like whenever in heat, pupils blown up 3x their regular size.
She was so tempting, and he felt so bad about it. He felt like he was taking advantage of her, or her primal instincts whenever she was in heat. Maybe this was her preheat, yeah, that had to be it.
It was unheard of an omega wanting a human. That wasn’t possible, it wasn’t in her nature.
“Chan.” She said again, more timely as she gazed up at him with a pleasing look in her eyes.
“Please Chan, trust my words. I’m telling the truth.” She whispered, hands gripping the fabric of his shirt into little balled up fists.
Her insides churned with nervousness, it would absolutely break her if he rejected her again, she would probably cry and hide away in the nest she already built on her bed.
The same nest she wanted him in, to cuddle and cradle her to sleep, she wished the nest was on his bed instead.
“Ok..” his soft voice drew her out of her thought, her head snapping back up to meet his slightly less guilty looking eyes. “Ok darling, I’ll help. But this is totally consensual right? I will never do this again if you regret it in the slightest.”
She nodded her head vigorously, a huge smile gracing her feature. “Thank you Channie!” She squealed, wrapping her arms around his neck and using the position to sneakily catch a whiff of his scent.
“Can we move my nest then?” She asked, smiling a bit more shyly with redden cheeks.
“To where?” His eyebrows furrowed, he hadn’t even seen it yet, making sure to stay clear of her room because he had read that omegas are very strict about who gets to enter their nest. He just didn’t expect to be the lucky one to be accepted into it.
“Your bed, please.” She slightly whined despite Chan not doing anything to detest to her question. “Ok, I guess… if that’ll help with your heat. Do you need help moving it?”
She nodded her head again and dragged him to her room, opening the door as his eyes widened at the sight.
He felt crazy every day because it seemed like his clothes were slowly going missing, he was sure the washing machine was eating them up.
Instead it was his omega, his omega who needed his scent more than anything.
The nest was huge, seemingly too big for even his bed that was a California king.
Still, they moved it slowly but surely into his room, the omega rearranging it many times until it felt good enough for her likings. Despite Chan not having the same instincts as her he still tried his best to help her out and rearrange anything that she told him to.
His pillows created support to her head as she laid in the middle of the nest, softly panting.
She was growing dizzy at how much of his scent she was able to have on her, her brain short-circuiting.
“C-Chan.” She whined, eyes shooting up before sitting up. “Help.” she whined, alreayd rubbing her thighs together as she felt a throbbing ache in her core.
“But, but- your heat isn’t for another week.” He said, shocked that she was already begging for him. “Early.” She simply answered, her chest heaving as she crawled over to him and clutched onto his shirt like in the kitchen. “Early Chan, it came early.” She further explained and he silently cursed.
He felt like she needed more time, more time to think it over but now she was clouded by her needs. “Are you sure? 100%-“
She cut him off with a long whine, pulling him into her while falling back and into the bed. “Please Chan! I need you to mate me, I need you to fill me up and make me go dumb. I want to cry on your cock and arch my back off the bed, I want to be so lost in the feeling that I shake like crazy!!”
She begged and begged and he couldn’t let it go for any longer. He finally caved in, and he finally decided to strip his and hers clothes off so he could satisfy all her needs and desires.
Now they were on round 3, with each round growing more brave with the positions, with the kisses and pet names.
Each time Chan edged her, not quite letting her cum and even pulling out to spill himself on her tummy. Each time she whined and begged for him to let her cum, or to at least not pull out when he finishes.
“Eyes on me gorgeous.” His rough voice said, her eyes immediately snapping toward him as they grew foggy with tears. “Awh, poor baby.”
He cooed, grinning while leaning down lightly to kiss her cheeks while simultaneously wiping away the few tears that fell.
His hips never faltered, almost like a pistol that fires off every second. Her mind was incredibly clouded with lust, moans erupting from her at every slight shift he made.
“Close! S-so close~” she whined, her nails digging into his back which created shallow scratch marks that burned his skin. Maybe he was a bit of a masochist? Because he absolutely loved the feeling.
“Close? Gonna cum? Am I going to let my princess cum?” He mocked, a sob emitting from her as she cries out in pleasure. “Please Chan!!” She begged, nails digging in harder and her eyes widened as he only went faster.
He was silently giving into her cries, this time he was going to let her cum, finally.
She babbled out, chanting his name over and over again that only fueled him more. He dipped his head, biting into her shoulder as a means to ground himself which only made her moan louder.
Her legs shook, and her back arched off the mattress as the white hot coil in her lower abdomen snapped and she came all of him. His hips faltered a bit before also cumming, his semen shooting into her like a rocket and painting her wall white.
She huffed and whined at the feeling of finally being filled up, her core sore and felt like it was bruised from the powerful thrusts of him inside.
“Thank you Channie.” You whispered softly, finally feeling your omega within calm down.
Chan only grunted in reply, his muscles relaxing as he slowly laid on top of you, his hands sliding up from your hips and around your waist. “Did such a good job baby, took me so well.” He praised, whispering softly into her ear which only made her smile brighter.
She couldn’t help but purr in satisfaction, wrapping her arms around his neck and scent him once again.
“Round 4?”

(JTA) — The Jewish French-Moroccan journalist Ruth Elkrief — who has delivered TV news in France for over 30 years — found herself at the center of the story when she was placed under police protection in December.
Elkrief received the security detail after an online attack from the far-left politician Jean-Luc Mélenchon. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Mélenchon charged her with hatred against Muslims after she challenged one of his colleagues during an on-air interview about the Israel-Hamas war.
“Ruth Elkrief. Manipulator. If we don’t insult Muslims, this fanatic is outraged,” Mélenchon said of the journalist, adding that she “reduces all political life to her contempt for Muslims.”
Mélenchon, leader of the far-left party La France Insoumise, known as LFI or, in English, France Unbowed, posted his comments moments after Elkrief conducted a heated interview with LFI lawmaker Manuel Bompard on her TV channel, La Chaîne Info, on Dec. 3. Elkrief asked Bompard about his party’s refusal to condemn Hamas and its characterization of the militants as “resistance fighters” after their Oct. 7 attacks on Israel. She also asked about the party leaders’ decision to describe Israel’s war in Gaza as a “genocide,” and whether this language might provoke civil unrest in France.
In response, Bompard referenced warnings from the United Nations that the Palestinian people were at risk of genocide without a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war. Elkrief in turn quoted the French historian Vincent Duclert, who has said of Gaza’s high death toll, “Even a frightening humanitarian situation is not enough to qualify as genocide.”
Elkrief, who says she “came out” as Jewish to her viewers after Oct. 7, told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that she merely did her job of debating an interviewee and dismissed Mélenchon’s accusation of Islamophobia. According to Elkrief, she was challenging the positions of France’s far-left political class — not French Muslims, whom she does not believe to be well represented by LFI even though nearly 70% of them voted for the party in the 2022 national elections.
“Most French Muslims don’t support Hamas and they don’t support all these catastrophes,” she said. “They can of course fight for a Palestinian state — and I agree with that — but they are not agreeing with Hamas and terrorism.”
Nonetheless, Mélenchon’s charge prompted a wave of threats against the Jewish journalist and raised an alarm for French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin. Darminin said he decided to provide police protection because Mélenchon “put a target on the back of Ruth Elkrief, who already faced many threats as a journalist [and] was just doing her job.”
The government was on high alert for domestic attacks responding to the Israel-Hamas war. Mélenchon’s statement came the day after a knife-wielding man killed a German tourist and injured two others near the Eiffel Tower, telling police he was angry about the fate of Gaza and “so many Muslims dying in Afghanistan and in Palestine.”
While it’s typical for domestic attacks to increase in France during conflicts in Israel and the Palestinian territories, a recent surge in antisemitism has been especially pronounced. Darmanin reported over 1,500 antisemitic incidents in the six weeks after Oct. 7 — a three-fold increase from the total documented in all of 2022 — including desecrated Jewish graves and the stabbing of a Jewish woman in Lyon whose door was marked with a swastika.
Whether or not Mélenchon planned for an antisemitic backlash against Elkrief, his choice of language on X was loaded, according to Dorian Bell, a professor researching France’s history of race and antisemitism at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
“To accuse a Jewish member of the media of ‘manipulation’ arguably draws on long-standing antisemitic tropes about Jewish control of the media,” Bell told JTA.
Mélenchon’s words landed in the middle of a polarizing fallout from the Israel-Hamas War in France, home to one of the largest Muslim populations in Europe (about 5 million) and the world’s third-largest Jewish community after Israel and the United States (about 500,000).
French authorities met the wave of antisemitic incidents with a crackdown on pro-Palestinian rallies. Darminin attempted to impose a blanket ban on demonstrations denouncing Israel’s military campaign, which he declared “likely to generate disturbances to public order.” Although the ban was overturned, local authorities can still block protests on a case-by-case basis, prompting an outcry from some French citizens who accuse the government of suppressing free expression in support of Palestinians.
France’s Jews and Muslims have both experienced a painful recent history, including institutionalized discrimination against Muslim immigrants and Islamic terrorist attacks that targeted a Jewish school in 2012 and a Jewish supermarket in 2015. The reverberations of the Israel-Hamas war in France have further shaped a perception, solidifying for decades, that the country’s antisemitism and Islamophobia can be collapsed into a Jewish-Muslim conflict.
Michel Wieviorka, a Jewish French sociologist who studies violence and terrorism, told JTA there is no evidence that antisemitic incidents are predominantly driven by French Muslims. In fact, most of the perpetrators behind the recent spike in incidents — particularly non-violent ones, such as property damage and graffiti — are unknown. Between Oct. 7 and Nov. 15, 1,518 reports of antisemitic acts resulted in 571 arrests, Darmanin announced in November.
“Nobody knows exactly who is acting,” said Wieviorka. “Many people believe that most of these acts come from people with immigrant origins, but they can also come from the extreme right. For instance, I know some cases of destroyed graves in Jewish cemeteries — these attacks usually come from the extreme right, not from Muslims or Arabs.”
For Elkrief, Oct. 7 marked a turning point both personally and professionally. The 63-year-old journalist was born in Meknes, Morocco, and moved to France with her family when she was a teenager. (A remaining synagogue in Meknes bears her family name.) She started her long career at the French desk of the Associated Press in 1984. She spent 14 years at TF1, the oldest TV channel in France, helped found two news channels — LCI in 1993 and BFM TV in 2005 — and has hosted an LCI show about French politics since 2021.
She is also the great-niece of Chalom Messas, who was Morocco’s chief rabbi in the 1960s and 1970s until immigrating to Israel in 1978, when he became the chief Sephardic rabbi of Jerusalem. Elkrief is part of France’s small Liberal Jewish community and maintains Jewish traditions, keeping kosher at home and gathering the family for Shabbat evenings — including her two daughters and a newborn granddaughter. (Liberal Judaism in France is most similar to Reform Judaism in the United States.)
In all her years on air, Elkrief never spoke about her Jewish identity on TV before Oct. 7. She felt obliged to keep a “poker face” about her private life until the Hamas attacks, when she was moved to share more — fueled by her fear of rising antisemitism and enabled by her recent position as a commentator.
“I could explain where I was coming from and how much I was anxious about antisemitism in France after the 7th of October,” said Elkrief. “I called it my ‘coming out.’ I’ve since had some opportunities to speak about the conflict as a French editorialist, but also as a French Jew, for the first time in my life.”
On Oct. 9, Elkrief told her viewers that she was born in Morocco and lived there until early 1974, when she was 13. Her parents, both descended from generations of Moroccan Jews, feared regional tensions in the aftermath of the 1973 Yom Kippur War, when Israel fended off attacks from Arab countries. They went to France because they believed their children would have a safer life there.
“When I came at that time, I couldn’t imagine that there would be antisemitism in France,” Elkrief told JTA.
Worried about antisemitism gaining currency in French politics, Elkrief has criticized far-left factions heavily on her show. In addition to her dispute with Bompard, she blasted LFI for boycotting a march against antisemitism in November.
France’s traditional left, which encompasses socialist and communist parties, has nearly collapsed and left the more radical, controversy-dogged LFI in power, said Wieviorka. Meanwhile, the far-right National Rally — including anti-immigration leader Marine Le Pen, whose father and predecessor is a convicted Holocaust revisionist — has escaped the same censure for antisemitism during Israel’s war on Gaza, largely by proclaiming support for Israel.
“My idea is that they hate Arabs, Islam and migrants so much that they consider they have to be fighting on the other side,” said Wieviorka.
Bell cautioned against focusing exclusively on what is often described as the “new antisemitism” on the far left. The “old antisemitism” on the far-right never went away, he argued, but has only been masked by pro-Israel sentiment. Indeed, Bell said that historically antisemitic tropes — particularly those depicting an invasion of Jews too different or unassimilable to become truly French — have merely been recycled by the far-right to stigmatize Muslim immigrants.
And even if this narrative now primarily targets Muslims, Jews are not free from the conspiratorial discourse, said Bell. He pointed out that while members of the National Rally may not explicitly attack Jews, they sometimes use euphemisms for Jewish “elites” whom they blame for engineering mass migration, in a French version of the “great replacement” theory that has fueled violence around the world.
“When Marine Le Pen talks about ‘cosmopolitan nomads’ who are encouraging migration and destroying European nations, she has a tendency to mention Jewish French political figures — Jacques Attali, Daniel Cohn-Bendit,” said Bell. “I don’t think that’s an accident.”
Elkrief and Mélenchon have one thing in common: They are both among the estimated 836,000 Moroccan immigrants in France. (Mélenchon, 72, was born in Tangier and lived there until he was 12.) Elkrief said she is a strong believer in the “Republic,” which in France denotes an idea that there are only equal individuals in the public sphere, no minorities or ethnic groups. The country’s principle of “laïcité,” loosely and imprecisely translated as “secularism,” enshrines in French law the state’s neutrality between religions and confines religious symbols and practices to the private sphere — a pillar that Elkrief believes can protect France from discrimination against both Jews and Muslims.
“I don’t want to be defined by my religion, and I don’t want other French people to be defined by their religion,” said Elkrief. “I believe in the French Republic staying a space of debate, where religion is a private question.”

please hate me because i praying ceasefire of both sides - realase hostages and free gaza for civilians
Why would I hate you for this message? I'd like to think you have good intentions, and are mostly uninformed about what your message actually means.
The problem is that, as I wrote here, good intentions can lead to real harm, when people don't understand the consequences of their choices, and we're still responsible for the harm we caused, no matter how good are intentions were.
So let's make it clear: It's great to want the hostages free! But that's not enough after Oct 7.
Hamas has violated every ceasefire ever, including the one that was in place until 6:30 in the morning on that day. Its terrorists slaughtered civilians. They raped people of all ages, so brutally that bones were broken. They cut off body parts, breasts off women, genitalia off men, fingers and toes off children. They tied family members together, then burned those captives alive.
These terrorists placed a Jewish baby in an oven, and turned it on. Think about how much that baby must have screamed! It was in pain, and it was helpless, and all it could do to try and stop the physical hurt as it grew worse and worse, was to scream its little lungs out. And up until then, this baby probably thought the world was a good place, because whenever it cried, one of this kid's parents came, and made things better. what was the world to this child as it cried, and cried, and then screamed with every ounce of strength it had, and no one made the pain go away? I don't think I could ever fully process how horrible this baby's death was.
And a Hamas senior said explicitly on Oct 24, that they would continue in the exact same way, and carry out this massacre again, and again, and again...
A ceasefire before Hamas is destroyed means to accept that a massacre like this will happen again. Because no border can contain a genocidal terrorist organization, as Hamas proved on Oct 7. If you didn't understand that this is what it means, that it isn't a simple wish for peace, but a guarantee of another future massacre of innocent civilians, innocent babies, you do know now. And hopefully, you know better than to wish for the future deaths of more people in Israel.
If you don't, if you still wish for a ceasefire while Hamas continues to exist, with no regard for the well being of the people that it designates as it would be victims (which is all Jews, though as we've seen on Oct 7, Hamas will kill non-Jews as well, if they're associated with the Jewish state), then: 1. There is something morally wrong with your stance on this. 2. And you don't have a right to make that wish unless you put yourself in the line of Hamas' fire, by moving to Israel and living right on the border with Hamas, knowing that at any moment, they might breach the border again, and come and do to you, to your loved ones, what they have promised they will do to every last Israeli and Jew.
Lastly, I do wish for the Gazans to be free, just like I wish for the hostages to be released! I have no doubt that the Palestinians in Gaza will never be free, until Hamas is destroyed. If you do pray for Israelis and Gazans alike, you should pray for Hamas to be taken down, for the sake of the innocents on both sides. Then we have a chance at a real peace, not a fake ceasefire, that will for sure be broken.

long post, because i'm confused and need help from my mutuals.
Tumblr media
this. this really confused me. more well-read mutuals help me if you can:
Tumblr media
i'm mostly sure "suggesting a constitutional monarchy" was not the sole reason de gouges was arrested, tried, and executed, and it could not be the main reason. jean-paul marat was once a supporter of constitutional monarchy. Supplément de l’Offrande à la patrie did end with a message of hope for louis xvi to sort every grievance out while still being king. (and it was not just marat, this support for constitutional monarchy was widespread before louis xvi made the questionable decision to attempt to flee the country.) de gouges was executed after louis capet was, and the possibility of having a constitutional monarchy by then was certainly not as high.
i'm not so sure about what is meant by "anarchist beheadings". beheading as a method of execution is not anarchist on its own. beheading existed before frev, as did many, many other types of executions. the english did in ireland some of those other types of executions during the last 10 years of the 18th century, that is to say, at the same time as the frev happened. and we do not use the word "anarchist" to describe english attempts at disproportionately criminalising the irish. so putting the word "anarchist" immediately next to "beheadings" is something i genuinely cannot figure out on my own.
Tumblr media
national assembly (20 Jun - 9 Jul 1789), national constitutional assembly (the one that michel lepeletier worked in, 9 Jul 1789 - 30 Sep 1791), legislative assembly (the one that made divorce far more accessible than before, 1 Oct 1791 - 20 Sep 1792), and the national convention (21 Sep 1792 - 26 Oct 1795).
i don't think there was 1 position on the rights of women in any of these four. afaik the jacobins themselves were divided on how much social equality women could achieve. and the brissotins made the questionable decision to declare war on austria, which did not just mean that a very disorganised army was to be put into action, but that working-class women's lives were then affected by inflation and possible hoarding-and-profiteering of grains and of necessities.
again i have much more reading to do on this one.
Tumblr media
many more women (e.g. louise-renée leduc, claire lacombe, pauline léon, théroigne de méricourt, félicité fernig, théophile fernig) had more stakes in the frev than de gouges did. often they would put their very lives on the line. their perceived femininity was not their primary concern, e.g. the fernig sisters kept being soldiers even when other soldiers were aware that they were women.
maybe as a tangent: mary wollstonecraft, despite her criticism towards the frev, was still much, much more welcoming of the frev than her theoretical opponent, edmund burke, and her A Vindication of the Rights of Woman was translated into french within a year of being published. wollstonecraft lived in paris from 1792 to 1795, and was not persecuted (partly due to the protection of an american man, but still if any suspicion came upon wollstonecraft, it would be because she was english, not because she was a woman or a feminist thinker).
with the exception of leduc, every woman mentioned here died after 1793. now i am aware that this is a small sample size, and misogyny definitely existed during the 18th century (not surprisingly), but i cannot find in any primary source evidence suggesting the existence of a systematic exclusion of outspoken women or women of action or feminist thinkers.
i am aware that suffrage and/or being part of the national assembly (later national constituent assembly, later legislative assembly, later national convention) were not the only ways of participating in politics. working-class women in the 18th century not having the right to vote was sad when compared to working-class women in the 21st century having this right. but they were allowed to influence the men in their communities to vote, which was fortunate when compared to the lack of the right to vote in general in the old regime.
Tumblr media
my general grasp so far is that, any kind of written or spoken output during the frev had very real risks attached, because literacy was quite low, and many "readers" of newspapers or pamphlets heard the contents by others retelling what was read out at cafés. spreading misinformation, or using gross invectives as marat called it, was not just unhelpful, but possibly damaging to the organisation of the urban poor.
now personally i do not believe that de gouges deserved to be executed, but that is because i do not believe anybody deserved or deserves to be executed. (that's for a different post.)
if male journalists such as hébert were losing their lives for misleading their readers and for unnecessary verbal violence, however, then de gouges being subjected to similar levels of scrutiny was a sign of equality -- for men and women of letters at the very least.
voting rights for women being granted only in the 1940s was a) still a good thing. that it happened at all was a good thing. that it is still here is a good thing. and b) the result of feminist thoughts coinciding with economic and political realities. between the frev and the 1940s were three republics and two empires, and it would be reductive to blame what was delayed until the 1940s solely on the frev. feminism, as a group of schools of thoughts, did not doom itself because de gouges died. and c) still not equality yet. voting allows, but only allows, more women to think about the state that exercises disproportionate power over them, and to describe this state, and to study this state. i am reminded of a quote from dear Karl here.

[...] Free, free Palestine! Free, free Palestine!" came the chants from a crowd of more than 100 people in front of City Hall on Oct. 9 just after 2:30 p.m.
The rally brought together dozens of people carrying Palestinian flags and signs with messages like "stop bombing Gaza," and "justice, not fascism." Vehicles honked in support as they drove down Main Street past City Hall.
"What were doing today is opposing the actions of the state of Israel against the Palestinian people," said organizer Candice Bodnaruk, with Peace Alliance Winnipeg. [...]

Note from the poster @el-shab-hussein: There are no 'both sides'. There's an ongoing genocide that the Indigenous people are finally fighting back in with just a modicum of what the oppressor has been dishing out since the 1880's. This is what the article page looked like while I made this post. Western journalism is a joke.

This is my version of Loonatics unleashed. I decided to do my own version. So some major differences are.
1- The Loonatics take place in 2017 which makes it's a bit more relatable to us. I love the designs of the future but I have to admit I found it weird with all the new technology the phones still look very early 2000s 😂.
2- The looney tunes are there Great Grandparents not 300th Great grandparent.
3- Duck and Rev are Girls. I wonder how come there was only one girl in the team. There supposed to be descendants not carbon copies 😒. I mean we're they saying girls can't be descendants from boys.
4- Ace and Lexi are Fraternal twins. Guys I'm sorry I just can't seem to ship them. They are descendants of Lola and Bugs bunny who are in a canonical relationship. It's a cute ship don't get me wrong. But for me it's just weird.
5- The Loonatics are young adults. Wikipedia says there teenagers but these guys are in universitys?? There ages are. Slam and Tech 22, Ace and Lexi 20 , Rev and Danger 18.
6- Zadalvia is NICE to Danger.
7- There backstories. Starting with Slam Tasmanian.
Tumblr media
First off he can Talk. I never understood why they gave Wiles and Roadrunner descendants talking abilities but not him.
He lived in Tasmania and has an Australian accent kinda like Hugh Jackman. Some humans said they were going to take there home unless Slam comes up with 100,000,000,000,000,000 dollars. ( Which is impossible) so he signs up for American wrestling. He goes to America but finds out it's not what he thought. However a meteor changes his life forever. He has a younger kid sister who is his biggest supporter and lived with his mom after there father walked out on the family. Loves to cook. His birthday is May 4th and yes the others do joke and say May the 4th be with you much to his annoyance. Zodiac is Taurus ♉
Next up Tech e Coyote
Tumblr media
His backstory is kinda complicated. He was diagnosed with Asperger's when he was 4 and was often bullied to the point where he is TERRIFIED of public speaking. He has lots of stim toys and sometimes didn't feel like talking. During college he befriended a shy bullied girl names Mallory and eventually fell in love with her. Unfortunately there was an accident he caused by mistake and she ended up becoming the Mastermind. He tried with inventing again but after several accidents he was kicked out of the university. However a meteor changes his life forever. Birthday Dec 30. Zodiac Capricorn ♑.
Next up Ace and Lexi
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I decided to do these two together since there twins so they basically lived the same lives. Ace is the older twin and is a daredevil who got in trouble with his parents alot. As for Lexi she was a very sweet girl who everyone liked. She was definitely the angel to aces devil personality. However this came at the cost of her getting bullied and Ace getting detention alot in high school. ( Because no one messes with a guy's younger sister especially if she is your twin) at college though he seemed to mature a bit and Lexi learned how to deal with bullies with her one passion Dancing. She loves Ballet. And Ace wanted to be a Actor like his Great Grandpa Bugs bunny. Unfortunately try outs didn't go well for either. But a Meteor changes there lives forever. There birthday is Oct. 13 making them Libras ♎
And now for everyone favorite talkative roadrunner Rev Runner.
Tumblr media
Ok so like I said Rev is a girl runner. She had a pretty standard life. However her parents never believed she had ADHD just thinking she was faster than normal or not paying attention to them. Her younger brother Rip is 10 in this world and as far as she is concerned. She is more his mother than there own. Harriet and Ralph are pretty rich and practically use there kids to help make money. Rev being the oldest was put under a lot of pressure growing up. Ralph often would push Rev to her limits. To make things worse he was Willing to Marry her to some Creep to get more money. Luckily she got away. Unfortunately she couldn't take her brother with her. Something that still crushes her. She started work at a diner as a waitress. She was miserable until a certain meteor struck earth changing her life forever. Her birthday is Feb 1. Her Zodiac is Aquarius ♒
For the Final loonatic. My personal favorite Danger Duck
Tumblr media
( this is the only gif of him are you kidding me 😂)
Anyway like Rev she is a Girl. And the youngest of the team. Her life wasn't exactly easy at all. Her parents were murdered in front of her by psycho clowns at age 5. Then she went through several foster homes with all of them sending her back cause she was a ' problem child'. None of them realized she was lashing out in grief. She practically grew up in the system. She had only one friend. Pinkster Pig. However when he got adopted he started changing and bullied her throughout high school. When she hit 18 she was kicked out of the orphanage and was homeless taking off jobs just so she can sleep somewhere. Her latest job and place was at a pool place. After a hard day of work. A meteor changes her life forever. Her birthday is July 25. Her Zodiac is Leo ♌
As for Zadalvia. Since she is an alien I decided to make her more like avatar. She has a striped tail. And is green skin. Her outfit is Blue. And she has Orange hair. She is 35 years old. Her backstory is pretty much the same. Except I decided to have Optimus ( I dont know how to spell his name) is possessed by the robo stuff he wears. There parents died when she was young and he became an adult. After years of ruling freleng he found a robot costume and put it on. Unfortunately it possessed him. He imprisoned his sister but she escaped with the help of a rocket. Resulting in the meteor. Her birthday is September 3. Her Zodiac is Virgo ♍.
And that's basically my version of the Loonatics hope you like them 😊

Perfect
Zayn said he wouldn’t buy the record when he heard Perfect (so salty!). Harry's emotions varied performing it in its short 27 performance run from Oct-Dec when 1D ended. These 2 stand out:
November 20 2015, rather than sing the Bridge Harry said to the crowd "if you think it's so funny you can sing it".
youtube
3 days later at the AMAs he rolls his eyes and looks ready to walk out, the camera cuts to a kid who seems to agree. (Bridge is 2:40).
It was only performed 6 more times, in Carpool Karaoke (10:30) Harry stops singing for parts and the song cuts before the bridge, at the Jingle ball he looks away and the last time was new years.
Or this concert he put the mike into the crowd, someone stole the microphone and licked it.
Safe to say he regretted that bridge, it's savage to them both.
Writers
Perfect ties with Fools Gold for the title of the Haylor song with the most writers, at 7. While Fools Gold has all 5 of the band, Bunetta and Ryan. Harry and Louis are the only band members who worked on Perfect with Bunetta, Ryan and 3 others:
Jesse Shatkin, (cowrote Sia's Chandelier)
Jacob Kasher (Maroon 5 collaborator), and
Mozella (cowrote Miley Cyrus Wrecking Ball and Fools Gold.)
To me, Perfect has more media grabbing pop-song than Harry Styles. HS’s best 1D work was with teams of 3 or 4 writers. In fact, Bunetta said Olivia came out in 45 minutes while overworking another "less good" MITAM song.
Timeline
Bunetta also told Rolling Stone about Perfect:
"That one took a long time, just because it was written over a couple different continents. It started as one thing and ended up where it is."
MITAM was made in the summer of 2015. To have been written in a couple of continents and with USA based writers it was probably either side of the BBMAs. It could have been started 'as one thing' in April in South Africa before the BBMAs other songs that reference Style including Two Ghosts started early in the year. The "ended up where it is" with those writers would be after the BBMAs, when they got back to the USA from July. This would be at the end of the album and he was singing it daily within 3 months.
Similarity to Taylors songs
It has the same chord progressions as Style and is also very similar to out of the woods as this video on Twitter shows. He called it a love song in the made in the AM interview (6 mins) and that it wasn’t literal in another. I do love this James Cordon bit and I love his Taylor smile so much.
youtube
Lyrics
[Verse 1: Louis] I might never be your knight in shinin' armour I might never be the one you take home to mother And I might never be the one who brings you flowers But I can be the one, be the one tonight
Grapejuice, has the perfect (get it) call back to this verse, along with 'Red' and 'Pay for it' and I love him for it:
"I was on my way to buy some flowers for you (ooh) / Thought that we could hide away in a corner of the heath / There's never been someone who's so perfect for me / But I got over it and I said / "Give me somethin' old and red" / I pay for it more than I did back then"
[Pre-Chorus: Liam] When I first saw you from across the room I could tell that you were curious, oh, yeah Girl, I hope you're sure what you're looking for 'Cause I'm not good at making promises
Promises come up again in Woman "Promises are broken like a stitches is", which is interesting if both Woman and part of Perfect are written after the 2015 BBMAs.
‘Know what you are looking for’ is interesting. In "Say don't go" and the 1989 TV Vaults in general Taylor did not get what she was looking for. At 23, dating a 19 year old Taylor told us she didn’t get wavy she needed. Her most recent ex, JG was 29. (yes - JG was the age Harry is now! Imagine if he did that) So I kind of stand by this line.
The start refers to the night they met. Which neither has ever confirmed, I think it was in 2011 (see timeline) Many look at the coat he tries on in the music video, which matches both his Up All Night Tour outfit (from December 2011) and the 2012 Kids Choice Awards. The awards are fun though. The Up All Night DVD also has it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Verse 2: Niall] I might never be the hands you put your heart in Or the arms that hold you any time you want them But that don't mean that we can't live here in the moment 'Cause I can be the one you love from time to time
Urgh I choose to attribute 'love from time to time' to one of the 6 other people writing this. To me this line always sounds like a boy-band heartthrob priority playing out in the writers room. No wonder it took time and HS1 to overcome this.
However, this does speak to a theme of them not being available to each other because of their careers and 1D punishing schedule. If I could fly's "I'm missing half of me when we're apart" and Half the World Aways " So you're not my girlfriend / Don't pretend that makes us nothing / Tell me you don't miss this feeling" speaks more honestly to the interplay of his band image, schedules and priorities which Taylor referred to Suburban Legends.
[Chorus: Harry, All] But if you like causing trouble up in hotel rooms And if you like having secret little rendezvous If you like to do the things you know that we shouldn't do Then, baby, I'm perfect Baby, I'm perfect for you And if you like midnight driving with the windows down And if you like goin' places we can't even pronounce If you like to do whatever you've been dreamin' about Then, baby, you're perfect Baby, you're perfect So let's start right now
Here are Haylor themes we know and love, Driving at midnight (Style, HYGTG, Wish You Would) generally going from a high schooler to superstar overnight (placed they can’t pronounce like Cannes), and hidden love/hiding (I Know Places, Slut!)
[Bridge: Harry] And if you like cameras flashin' every time we go out Oh, yeah And if you're looking for someone to write your breakup songs about Then baby, I'm perfect And baby, we're perfect
The camera’s flashing is good imagery and his voice brings to life how personally challenging it was for them both in a way I Know Places didn't with very few words. Taylor also refers to this imagery in Is it over now?
But the break up songs is a low blow and I assume the part he regretted to the point of not wanting to sing it. In a later interview Harry said:
“The only time you really think, ’is this song too personal?’ is if you think about, ‘is this going to be really annoying for the other person?’ Because I do [care],” he finished.
Which I think the break up song line would have been very annoying.
If you made it through that reward yourself with Grapejuice at Wembley 🍇

2 december pirates smp lore summary, aka WHAT HAVE WE LEARNT TODAY my god this is messed up
obvious disclaimers: spoiler warning, everything is roleplay
cw for livestreams:
apo: shouting, mentioned past torture of a child-like non-human entity (non-graphic)
kuervo: food insecurity mention, grief (via p!water), guns and gunshots, what we in the present day would call human rights violations (on at least 2 different levels), self-harm (hitting onself to ensure consciousness), shaky breath (possibly panic attack?)
apo summary (~30 mins)
apo finds graecie at the nightingale tavern, who confronts him about his motives
they sail to the "touching the stars" quest site for a more peaceful environment (graecie's idea)
graecie was trying to hard to stay calm, bless her
apo tries to justify himself, in that he came here in search of freedom and that he was trying to protect the isles from the "evil" of cruppy (whom he is convinced is a manifestation of the corruption and is gonna kill everyone)
he also thinks alphie will approve of his actions… and considers but doesn't tell graecie about martyn threatening him to kill acho (1 dec)
graecie continues to defend cruppy in that it, according to her, has the mental age of a toddler and that apo is compromising his "morals" for something he hasn't even been successful in achieving yet
graecie decides to stay at the quest site to mull things over while apo takes her boat (with permission) to go back to the isles
she also says that she refuses to give up on apo even if apo has given up on the nightingales (her words, summarized)
apo now believes he has to do something he doesn't want to do
apo lore revelations
apo might know more about cults than he initially lets on
the golden necklace he wears is a locket containing a picture of him and the former owner of the locket (probably alphie)
kuervo summary (~1 hour)
previously on pirates smp (1 dec), kuervo saw a cultist at the door to the kite tavern and got knocked out and yoinked
he wakes up in the amethyst cave where the rescue mission happened back on 13 oct (it takes him a while to realize this), and can't find a way out
he decides to take a nap because he's too tired to keep looking for a way out (chat was panicking because they thought he was gonna die if he did sleep)
cut to a shot of kuervo in the marnie cage getting zapped by a petrification beam and barely consciously trying to break out (overlaid with heartbeat effects)
kuervo then somehow WAKES UP in the tiny hut outside the big amethyst cave hole and finds a pistol with 4 bullets
he tries to figure out his surroundings, gets cornered by a cultist to get back down the cave or else, and then shoots the cultist (and… chat says he was having a whole panic attack after that)
CUE THE FLASHBACK to 16yo kuervo (recently promoted?) getting commended and invited to dinner with the armada commanders and being super excited about it (chat declares their undying adoration for him as a kid and i agree)
kuervo sails back to the isles by hijacking a cultist ship and is very salty about chat asking about his past, and decides it's too dangerous for him to hang around any longer
he leaves the kites and packs up his stuff to finish his revenge "quest", visits water in her home to comfort her about the wedding, say goodbye, and get supplies (like a lasting supply of food just in case he has to face food insecurity in the future, and money for another pistol)
he also revises his letter to the armada to come and get him and convinces water to send it off for him via the castaway. there is a promised goodbye hug in the kuervo lore "finale"
he moves into the main town tavern for his "last few days" on the isles to wait for the armada to come get him
kuervo lore revelations
kuervo is a VERY good shot with a pistol
he has a brother, implied to be older (probably alex if going by his last character lore stream on 13 nov); the brother was well-known in the armada
kuervo was almost definitely a child soldier (getting a "new" crew at age 16? he had to have been there for a while for that to happen…), probably indoctrinated into the autocracy that is naya (dw it happens to the best of us)
he didn't have that red hair (dye) streak at age 16
the cultists apparently experimented on him while he was asleep/unconscious… and it didn't work
kuervo has 8 rings out of a collection of 10, and intends to get his last 2. it's implied he might have killed the armada's commanders, 1 ring for each kill? (nothing is said directly on stream but this is the most likely option according to chat live reaction)
naya is located in the distant northwest
either alex is alive, or kuervo is planning to die. i personally suspect the latter, given the ending of his 18 nov stream
